Never been to this venue before, and probably never will. Me and my boyfriend (25) and I (20) wanted to go to a show last minute, bought tickets for the show, keep in mind I usually go to a lot of 18+ raves and stuff so I wasn’t expecting this, NOWHERE on the website did it state it was a 21+ event. No signs or anything. I was informed at the door, I didn’t even get to walk inside or anything, and they do not offer refunds under any circumstances, idk maybe I’m just slow or missed it saying 21+ but I swear I didn’t see a thing about it I spent about an hour almost searching around if it was 21+ after we got home but still nothing. Staff was also kinda rude very pushy and they rush tf out of you.(Edit: psa if you are unsure if an event at this venue is 21+ make sure to call them so you’re 100% sure! I wish I did:/)
One of my fav spot in downtown for late night clubbing, live band, live shows, good dj, mixed crowd, multiple bars, decent cleanliness, attentive bouncers, coat checkin service, nominal entry charges and Private seating area too.I have been to this place multiple times for multiple occasions like Halloween, new year and have always had good time. You can get decent parking spots within few blocks. Pretty safe and connected from metro too.
So the only reason I went here was for an event. I am not going to give it 5 stars since I didnt try any of the food or drink. It was a nice enough place. Good overall atmosphere. Very large. A lot larger then I thought it was upon first entering. The second story has a pretty cool quiter space/room called the hideaway. Also second story has a balcony type enclosure around the dance area and the stage which is neat. Also has a pirate theme going for it which I started pretty fun. Staff seemed very curtious and when someone puked all over and friends and onlookers (including myself were trying to help clean it up) they insisted not to worry about it. That they would take care of it.. So overall fun day. But the event and dancing were what made this memorable to me not the venue.
Came here to see Marsh perform last Friday. He was amazing and it was an epic event! The venue is small but not bad. The entrance was a bit tricky to find, and there is a lot of construction going on in the area at the moment. The beverage service was good and pretty fast. They had a 2-for-1 special going on, which my wallet appreciated greatly. However, the Long Island Iced Tea, which costs $16, is not exactly worth it in my opinion.
Always such a great time! Very inclusive, safe and good vibes! Cheap drinks and great music!!!
I paid in advance for a show on 4/20/2024. The bouncer turned me away at the door without reason. Still waiting on my ticket refund, and all they do is give me the run around. 0 Stars.
Went here on a Saturday night. For $5 cover we got to see a great cover band playing songs from the 90s and 00s, along with go go dancers, and more. Everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves. It gets really loud, my ears are ringing as I write this. Definitely for a younger crowd. Fun, but perhaps Im too old for this place. There are hidden/secret passageways upstairs. Its a cool place.
Bought tickets at a show, and the cashier girl at the front said it is 80 something, so i took out $100, 5 20s and handed the cash to her. As she had the money in her hand and put it in the cash register as i was talking to my girl she said Its 80 flat. So i then looked at her and waited for my 20 back. She said nothing so I told her i gave her 5 20s and she didnt believe me; yet she never even counted the bills i gave her. She claimed she said I said it was 80 flat and why would i give her $100 as an excuse despite her saying Its 80 something moments before. She said this because she never counted the bills. All while rolling her eyes as if she didnt believe me. I get it, youre used to dealing with drunk people but have some respect at the least. I confirmed this by looking afterwards by looking into my wallet and confirming there was only 5 $20s left in my wallet from my $200 cash i took out of the ATM the day before. She told me i could come back in 10 minutes later on after they check the cameras but the cameras would NOT have caught the 5 20s as never fanned them out or even counted them before putting them into the register. Im confident that was an excuse to say that they checked and found nothing wrong.Anyways, -Rep, would not recommend. Get a new cashier, Shes pocketed customers money or at the least very bad at counting.
Brady and Tim are masters of their crafts... I was worried about Brady at first being a fellow bartender he seemed slightly cold however I was 100% wrong he pours a mean drink and had an amazing sense of humor! Definitely going back if not for the overall experience than for sure for the staff! ♥️❤️💜
Myself and two friends attended Golden Girls Pub Crawl; the event was great fun. But at 10am, music was too too LOUD. Could we get the party started at a moderate volume in the mid-morning? -2 stars for volumeOh--and loved the lockable, no look-under-or-over, gender-non-specific, full door and full privacy bathrooms??? Bonus +1 star.
I was at this venue for a concert & not only was the sound right on but the whole venue is awesome! A ton of room. Awesome speakeasy vibe. 2 floors. I had the VIP experience so I was able to explore it all & I must say it was all really cool! Theres tables, big comfortable booths, couches, a stage & dance floor, good food, good service! If I have the chance to go back I definitely will! Highly recommend checking this place out!
The good: amazing sound. visual set up. strong drinksThe bad: oversold, overcrowded. i would have paid more for a ticket if there would be breathing room. Even walkways and the edge of the bar were crowded. No free water (as well as overselling) makes me feel the venue does not care about my safety. They also wouldn’t give you your coat from coat check unless you were leaving which was weirdThe ugly: security said I couldn’t bring my cigs inside, so I asked if they could hold onto them for the show. They looked me in the eye with a smile and said “of course” but then they smoked them all and acted like I never gave them to them. Didn’t realize cigarettes were illegal here! Gonna get revenge if I ever go back >:(
Worst venue I have ever been to they will kick you out for any reason and throw you on the street some scumbags running this place with security
22% mandatory tip for pouring $8 beer + convenience fee. Yet still has a line to add for a tip. That’s called taking advantage of drunk people.Lack of AC / Fan so we were hot the entire show. At least there’s a stage 🤷♂️
Went for their reventón event and the DJ was phenomenal. However, it was hard to enjoy because the place was riddled with creeps. My friends and I felt super uncomfortable and kept getting harassed. Bartenders just watched as one guy fully tried to force a kiss from my friend and did nothing. The security were also unnecessarily rude and utterly pointless because they were not even seen around the dance floor. All they were good for was yelling at you at coat check. Do not waste your money coming here.
Beautiful venue with great sound system. If you are a performer, keep in mind that you may not get paid from this venue. Im a local comedian and was solicited to perform here a couple weeks ago and still have not been paid. Ive done dozens of shows over the years and usually get paid immediately after the show. Not only have I not been paid, but they also stopped responding to my messages after the show. Do business with The Pourhouse at your own risk.
We came to see a cover band and I ordered a cheeseburger. The food was fine, but I would not recommend coming here for food. Not bad, just nothing special. I think most people come here for the bar/nightlife so thats probably not an issue. That atmosphere was fine and there is some interesting decor. It was a nice clean establishment at 7 pm on a Friday.
The bouncers were RUDE! Just because I didnt want to pay the entry fee and was checking my phone for alternate places, they asked me to step outside the double door when it was -5 outside.
Easily the best tacos Ive had. Im not sure what it was but it was spicy good. Fun place for a drink or two before moving onto other things downtown. Venue is pretty nice. Would come back.
Went there for Bollywood bash on Saturday night and it was absolutely incredible! They did an excellent job trying to promote social distancing while still making sure everyone had a good time. The DJ was amazing the drink prices were good and the scenery was absolutely incredible. They did an amazing job and I cant stress how much I appreciate that after all the months of craziness! Im definitely going back next month for Diwali!
Went to reventón and the dude at the front was about to let us in and didn’t end up letting me in cause i was wearing sweatpants (which weren’t even that casual) but then said he’d let me in if i paid him $20? Like how does that make sense, he was just tryna get some money from me and i’m so glad i didn’t go in. NEVER going back there
We reserved a VIP table for a bachelorette party and everything from the first initial communication to the end of our night was amazing! The venue is SO cool. Being upstairs for VIP and overlooking the dance floor was a huge highlight and added to the VIP experience. Any issues we had were quickly addressed and kept our night going and fun! Huge kudos to our waitress for the night. The DJ was spot on and the act performing that night was amazing. Our waitress was SO fast and went above and beyond for us. Cant wait to go back!
Horrible atmosphereOnly made for ppl who look like they think our serving. Over priced drinks etc
I was visiting Minneapolis on a weekend in the downtown area and my friend recommended this place. I walked in and there was a guy in suspenders tearing up the dance floor but I wasnt impressed. There was a $10 cover charge so I decided to stay for awhile and Im really glad that I did. In an hour or two the place was hopping and the DJ played some excellent beats. The drinks were good the place had a unique atmosphere. I had a blast and would recommend this to anyone who is looking to have a wild night on the town!
Cool bar. 2 levels with a bar on both floors and VIP on second level. Has a good dance floor and live music at least on the weekend. Cover charge when we went on Friday night but not sure the rest of the week. Drink prices are reasonable. Got pretty busy after 11pm.
First time being there and very disappointed. $5 cover charge was fine, drink specials (free drink with college ID) was done, which was fine, but the bartender who was “serving” us literally walked off dancing and screaming to a song before even me or my friend could order. We stood at the bar for a good 5 mins before she even walked up to us because she was too busy dancing. The general consensus on this place seems like this place was decent a while back and started going downhill. Me or my friends will not be returning unless some drastic changes are made.
Bought 2 drinks and was charged a $4.12 Automatic Gratuity. I was already planning on tipping the bartender $5 in cash. For 2 simple drinks. Ive never been to a bar where they dont trust you to tip. Plenty of other options around, I wont be back.
My friends and I went to this place last night. At first we were having a good time until one of the female bartenders decided to make up some story that had one of my friends kicked out. After calmly speaking to a manager in regards the bartenders reasoning I myself was refused service and kicked out for just speaking the truth. I would seriously consider going elsewhere because the cheap drinks are not worth the headache and the possibility of getting arrested.
Been here a couple of times. Not too bad. Got in the door after about 15-20 minutes. Its much larger than you think from the outside. Its like a zoo inside, very busy, hard to get drinks. The band that was there was amazing we got to the top to listen. The security can be unhelpful. We were seated in the back and wasnt even done with my drink towards closing they just took my drink and threw it away.... wasnt much left glad if they would ask first. I did have a good time, but it did smell really bad inside...4 Stars. Id be back if invited.
Very empty place on a Friday night. Didnt search me but surprised to find my husband being searched when I turned around. A man in a Tshirt and jeans is suspicious but a hoodie and bag isnt as long as its on a woman.Misled about food being severed here.
Went in on a Sunday night hoping to catch the late games, get a drink, and some decent food.Service was terrible and non-existent...literally.We seated ourselves and staff looked directly at us numerous times. Two different bar tenders, and no crowd, as we were literally two out of a handful of others.40 minutes later, we werent even greeted, let alone an order taken or asked for drinks.Never had I been so blatantly ignored at any establishment Ive been. Even when trying to wave down someone, nothing.Needless to say, we got up and left and will never return.
Event was fun and music was good, but after someone threw a half full can at my head I was the one kicked out from the event for confronting the person and asking why they felt the need to throw drinks at people. And I was sober.
Prices for drinks are above average but the atmosphere is pretty good for a bar and live band. Good for people above the age of 21 only. Sometimes they have a band called Some Sh!tty Cover Band and they are exceptional. Mostly standing room. There are a few seating areas but require a fee. Bottle service available. Views of the stage from main level and balcony level. Bars up and down as well.
Terrible venue!!! The staff is rude the security is aggressive. They cut bands short on set times as well as not even paying out the bands they wronged. They also do not accommodate anyone performing no water, food or anything. I’m sorry but as a Artist if I’m performing somewhere I am doing work. If they are not going to pay me they can at least accommodate Food and beverages. List of problems that this venue has goes on and on. This place is a joke and embarrassment to the music community. Never step foot in this place. Do not give them your money. Certainly do not book any music events With them. All and all just stay away from this establishment.
Cool venue with lots of great shows and fun events. There isn’t a bad spot in the place. Great balcony with couches, three bars and nice servers. This place has AMPLE bathrooms. And each staff is individual so you don’t have to wait inside a crowded, gross area.
Of all the places I went for the pub crawl downtown, this was probably my favorite. The drink specials were really cheap and delicious, and the food looked really good (though we didnt partake)! This is a really cool concert venue, and the rock group (forget the name unfortunately) that performed did a great job. The atmosphere reminded me of a place Nirvana would have played in the 1990s. Grungy but still clean, cool lights, and solid acoustics! Come on down!
They are overpriced but the crowd is usually decent and the music/cover band is fantastic. My biggest complaint is the security/bouncers and a bit of the staff there. They have attitudes and are disrespectful and dont know how to handle situations while thinking they are better than everyone else. Past couple of times me and my friends have seen bad behavior from bouncers/security that makes us want to stay away. Hopefully the cover band will start playing somewhere else.
What stood out the most was their security guards. There was an incident with two younger men and the security guards Jamal , Jordan, Brandon and Antonio helped me with that situation and escorted the young men out of the bar. I felt SAFE with how well the security did that night.I went here on 12/21/19 with a group of about 30 friends. We had a blast! We were the older people in the bar but it was a great atmosphere, band and drinks.
Been here quite a few times when Some Shitty Cover Band plays! Booked VIP here once for my birthday and it wasnt quite so pleasant. Our table area was dirty and the floor was extremely sticky. We asked a staff member if they could clean the floor and was told I would need to buy another bottle. Not a pleasant experience any any means.
Stupid club, and worse bouncers. Asked me for bribe
No clue how to run a venue. Cutting bands in the middle of a set, door people over charging posted prices... and keep the change. This place is about as shady as it gets. If you need an over priced drink in one of the worst parts of Downtown, hit the Pourhouse. But if want to host an event or see a band unfortunate enough to be playing there, Dont expect to get what you paid for. We have amazing bars and venues in this town that set the standard. And this isnt it.
The Pourhouse is a really interesting venue. I love the layout of the building and the alley they have access to for games during the summer. Worth stopping in for one drink just for the venue alone.Unfortunately it takes quite a while to get a drink here and can get very frustrating waiting in line or at the bar while many others hold out money to get their order first. This place is overall decent and could be an amazing bar if it was easier to keep your buzz.
Attended a show at the Pourhouse. Our watress was very friendly. The food was very good. The prices were not bad for downtown, but not what I was use to as I am from northern Wisconsin where beer prices are half of what they are in the cities. Liked the fact you can sit on a couch upstairs and still watch the show. my only complaint is with a name like The Pourhouse the beer selection was a bit of a disappointment. Would still come back for a show in the future.
I recently went here for a concert of the Blackheart Burlesque Suicide Girls which was absolutely fantastic! The Pourhouse did a great job in presenting them. The stage was appropriately sized, the bar was awesome and they sounded awesome! I would definitely attend the Pourhouse again for another venue or just to go to their bar to get some drinks and food. Great place!
The food is always good. The buffalo wings are great, the tacos are very good and the size of soft drinks is at least 24 ounces. The place is in an odd space but not hard to find. The upstairs seating above the stage has great line of sight. TVs are easy to see for sports events and the staff is friendly.
Ive been back to this bar at least once a year, and it seems to have gotten worse every year. I used to love bringing my out of town friends here to show them great live music, cool secret doors and passages, awesome atmospheres and a fun night overall. Now it just seems like a place I pay $5 to get into, buy a drink, and leave dissapointed that its not up to its former glory.
Great atmosphere, and cheap entry (often free) They have a main stage and overlooking balcony. The crowd is usually in the 20-30 range. And things can get pretty crazy, especially on an event night. As with any place drinks are expensive so if you plan on getting drunk, you might want to head to the bar before you go. If youre in the area and into clubbing, you should definitely check it out.
Was in the city for work and walked around for about a half hour until I came upon this gem. First of their beers are awesome. I sat at the bar and was greeted by friendly staff and patrons (maybe because it was happy hour). I was able to watch the game on the tv and had meal. I liked it so much I went back for a second night in a row. The washrooms are a bit of hike though.
I definitely wouldnt call this place a Sports Bar, this was a club with a fairly low cover charge of $5. They had a great cover band playing 90s grunge rock hits, had a blast, even if the alcohol was a bit pricey, but then again, its a club, so thats to be expected.
Best night out in a very long time. The staff is great. From the bartenders to the security guards to management they were all amazing. I will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time and cheap drinks. Security does a great job on keeping drama away. Not a very strict dress code or anything by any means but they know what to look for and avoid trouble before it starts. Love Poirhouse. Hope it is here to stay for a very long time.
The Pourhouse cancelled our event last night and we are still searching for an explanation from Dan Edwards. The least he could do is take a phone call from us. We stake our reputation as event coordinators on good faith agreements with concert clubs. Last night we all showed up ready to produce an event and not only were we told the club was double booked, but the Pourhouse didn’t even have a sound tech on site. Hopefully someone from Management at The Pourhouse will read this and give us a phone number so we can talk to someone and straighten this out. We have ticket buyers who need refunds. Plus we have upset bands who deserve an explanation, and an apology from this establishment.
This bar is amazing, it is probably the biggest bar in Minneapolis and was packed each night I was there. We went in early to see my buddies band play the main stage and had dinner (great food) and ended up staying until bar close. If you want a high energy environment with great music I highly recommend.
Cool music venue in Minneapolis. Great stage and sound system. Decent bar food too. But they need to do more marketing of music as there was hardly anyone there after 7 on a Friday night...The parking is very expensive up to $12 in nearby lots which is a detergent for many.
This is a go to happy hour place for me when I am in Minneapolis. The staff is always super friendly and the drinks are great. They have a big beer menu, not huge though, and the happy hour deals, like two for one, make it a good value also. The food is ok but not great. Except the habenaro cheese curds. Those are awesome!
They treat their performing bands like garbage. We were supposed to be paid, never got paid, had to wait 7+ hours to play because they have no back entrance for equipment. They were real happy to snatch our ticket money though. The bartender was salty and would mutter under her breath like I couldnt hear her. Not our fault this place sucks.Do local bands a favorDo yourself a favorNever go to the Pourhouse
Its a great space, I do wish the music was a *little* bit quieter so youre capable of a conversation at some point, bit its always a fun place to go for dancing! Unique Entertainment such as aerial silks, fire and stilts make it a memorable experience! More please!
On the website and the tickets it said the concert started at 6 and they had people waiting outside in Minnesota weather (0 degrees with lots of wind) until shortly after 7. All the staff there were extremely rude except for the woman bartender. The security was kicking people out non stop. Most of them were smoking weed, but at least five of the people that were kicked out werent smoking or doing anything and the security guards were laughing and pushing them out while the people were just simply asking why they were being kicked out. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Even though they started the concert late without letting anyone in, they cut the band off ten minutes early. I will NEVER go to the poorhouse again and would NEVER suggest this place to anyone.
Good place to watch sports. Our server was excellent! We had burgers. Really good, but not exceptional. I can imagine that its a great place for live music. Its a very cool set up.
Club is worse but bouncers are worst
Its a cool spot for an intimate concert. Good artist, good music. Drinks are reasonably priced. However they have a separate VIP section, (cost extra, but not much) that offers very few comforts of traditional VIP areas. I saw GZA of Wu tang there recently, the show if course was awesome. The opening artist list was full of up and coming talent. It was very enjoyable. Only one problem, but it was a big one for me. I purchased tickets believing I had VIP seating. Im a stage 4 cancer patient with very little energy. I had to leave early due to the fact that not one single chair existed in the vIP area. I was forced to stand uncomfortably for hours. Had chairs been an actual option I would still be there having a great time.
Completely unprofessional. Cut a band off after playing only two songs and jacked the cover charge up at the door unannounced. Security was removing chairs from underneath patrons and it was an overall rude experience. Would not recommend. Maybe pay your bands and don’t screw your customers.
Literally the worst bar/dance venue Ive been to. Facilities are fine, the management is horrendous. Long, slow lines to get in and at the bar. They dont accept card to pay cover. Advertisements lied about the cover charge. Bar was terribly understaffed and overcharged. Music was far from the bestNo plans on returning.
I love the overall setup , but we played a week ago and without telling the promoter or bands they upped ticket prices by $3, didnt start sound check until the event was supposed to start. Sound check was supposed to be 4 didnt happen until 6. We were told we had a full set, that also didnt happen. Event was supposed to end at 915, but we were told by staff we could push later if need be. We get into one of our songs a little around halfway through and sound guy walks on stage as were beginning to play, comes up to me and says youre done. The mic stand, mic , xlrs they had were the worst Ive ever used at a venue. Mic kept clipping out and xlr was popping off mic multiple times. Promoter and everyone involved with the event were not paid. Staff told promoter they couldnt pay her out because they lost track of door count. So they kept everything. Absolutely worst show experience ever! Would never play or support this place again.
I was there for the first time for the SoMo after party. What a fun and mellow place to hangout. It was friendly and the bartenders sure knew how keep the establishment clean. They walked around often and cleaned up after me with a smile on their faces! The atmosphere is so mellow. They have tables and booths and they all got candles on every table.Nice unisex bathroom ... It got me confused because I didnt look at the sign before walking into the bathrooms.
So far there has been too many instances of bands getting shafted from The Pourhouse. Set times getting cut short, not being paid, and overall disrespect for the bands they pull in to perform. My experiences from playing there are the same. Not only did we really not get paid, we did all of the legwork from selling their tickets, to doing all of the promotions for their shows. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place, especially if you are a musician.
No regard for the performers that bring them business. I’ve watched the cut sets and shows, pull tables and chairs OUT FROM UNDER PEOPLE WHO WERE SITTING AT THEM, a ‘security’ person struck my friend with a table he took from one of my guests and had absolutely no regard for him, overcharging at the door, charging performing groups for WATER, and genuinely not caring about those they hire or bring them business at all.Too long didn’t read:DO NOT GIVE THIS VENUE A MOMENT OF YOUR TIME BECAUSE THEY CAN’T BE BOTHERED TO TREAT THEIR GUESTS OR PERFORMERS WITH COMMON DECENCY.
Went to a show that was advertised as $15 at the door (Price was clearly listed on flyers, event pages, etc,). Upon arrival, we were charged $18 and when asked why it was more we were only told it was extra fees. Extra fees for what? We were paying cash at the door, no fees should be involved. Later learned, that even at an extra $3 per person, the venue DID NOT PAY THE BANDS! Not to mention the venue also cut bands 10 minutes in to their 45 minute set, gave no accommodations to the performers (No drink tickets, food and even CHARGED THEM FOR WATER!!!), Security started picking up tables and chairs, while bands were performing, even removing chairs from tables that were occupied, forcing patrons to stand. What kind of establishment operates this way?Avoid at all costs.
Went here for a friends birthday. A group of bros groped my drunk friend and threw a fit when i told them to back off. One of them roughly grabbed my partner and left bruises on their arm. The angriest one was trying to fight me, a 50 person, because i wouldnt let him assault a drunk woman. This place is not safe, security does nothing.
Strong drinks and great wait staff. My drink was never less than 1/4 full before the staff was checking. Limited bar food menu the night I was there but the mozz sticks were pretty darn good! Spendy night out as I would expect but worth every penny!!
Iced down drinks, blasting music, had a bartender lie about what drinks were available under college ID night, and even worse, an obnoxious, ultra loud, awful DJ who repeats the same things over and over again. Your ears are ringing after you leave. I couldnt hear well the next day.Dont be surprised if you damage your hearing if you go here a lot.Youd be better going to any other bar or drink/party place.
Went to see the Suicide Girls Blackheart Burlesque show. Very fun show, the venue had a great vibe and the crowd was great.Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Plenty of staff at the bars to keep the evening moving.
Pretty good place to get some drinks at night as they have a two level bar and layout, which is pretty cool. Usually have good live music at nights as well and a pretty good place to watch a Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves or Wild game with their TV setup. The cover though, can at times, not be worth the experience.
Place is horrible. Spent $150 when watching the final four games because they were having a watch party for the games. With 5 minutes left in the game they told us we had to give up our table so they could start up the club. I told them to f-off and Id move when the game was over. Rudest people ever. Tried to add $50 to our tab because beer during the game was 9.50. That wasnt stated anywhere and the menu on the table said 5.50. Shady place, I do not reccomend.
What kind of establishment increases the cover charge over the advertised price, doesnt pay performers and affiliated crew because they lost count at the door, cuts off a band two songs into their set, and doesnt provide any accommodations for the performers at their establishments? This is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable.
It has a good stage, I prefer small venues so you can actually see who is performing. I was there for a concert recently and a man who was security in a red Pelle Pelle jacket pushed my friend who was asking him a question which was uncalled for near the stairs next to the stage. You need to do better with your security people, he has a rotten attitude! Plus, the performer was only on stage for maybe 30 minutes, his opening acts played longer than he did. Disappointing to say the least. We definitely had more fun after we left there and went to another bar.
I go here often to dance and have a great time although Ive had issues with security being super rude to me. Theyve barred reentry without explanation and locked us out of areas with restrooms. One time a female friend asked where the bat he oom was and they sent her to to the basement alone where there isnt a bathroom. She was pissed and confronted them and they denied doing it and a girl came up and was also like hey I couldnt find the bathroom down there The place is awesome beyond the securities sketchiness.
I used to love going to the Pourhouse. Just a fun atmosphere. However, it doesnt seem to be very busy these days, and the stairs get to be too much. Would be nice if theyd bring back Vikings Game Day Brunch. That was a hit, and I know a lot of people who miss it.
Yes, great spot for music listening. Went to hear our favorite song bird. It was beautiful. Another occasion we went for a Christmas gospel concert and tried the food. We enjoyed it!
I like the style a lot. Unfortunately, we came here for Buzztime trivia (the electronic trivia on little tablets), and they had to find the controllers, which were mostly all broken, and even if they were not broken, the connection to the servers was not available. I get the impression this was not a one time thing. The server was nice, but we were stuck at a weird table in the spotlight (in the photo booth area), and the menu was much more limited than the one on the website. It would probably be fun on a Friday night, but I cant recommend coming here for food, and certainly not for trivia.
We went during happy hour on a Saturday and everything (drinks, entrees, and appetizers) was buy one get one free so we got a smattering of dishes and they were all quite tasty! The only thing that wasnt great was the lack of parking but we took an Uber anyways since we were going to walk to a few other places afterwards nearby anyways.
We ordered Pour House through Grub Hub. I hadnt had it before but had heard the name and thought the menu looked great. Unfortunately that was the end of the good news. I was missing the tater tots I had ordered, and my burger was past well done when I ordered medium. In addition, the bun was burnt. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich my husband ordered was missing the cheese, and the onion rings he ordered were only done on one side of the battered ring. That said, he did say the meat in the sandwich was pretty good.Im willing to spend just a bit extra for good food, but in this case, we spent too min on food that was not good or missing all together.
Club is okay, but stupid bouncers
Went there to watch the Michigan State vs Oregon game as they claim to be a MSU Bar. Waitress messed up every order we had, including straight beer and shot orders. This was fine with us as she was busy and obviously flustered by the fact that we would order a Surly Furious and a shot of Jameson together....very tough to get straight, i know. The kicker came at the end. After spending nearly $150 and closing out our tab. With 1 minute left in the game the security came and instructed us to stand up and our table was quite literally taken out from underneath us. We had given our payment and had no further use to them, so despite our 3 hours of sitting and watching the game they advertised they forced us up and took our table away. We asked to speak to the manager and he pretended to be understanding, stating that he would speak to those who forced us up and it would not happen again. Upon leaving we apologized to the security staff who took our table and chairs away from us, as we felt bad for bringing the manger into the equation. His answer dont worry, I talked to him and he said we did nothing wrong, You guys needed to go.. As long as they get your signature on paper, even if the order is wrong, you are useless to them. Do not expect to come to this establishment and get served with any sort of respect. They do not care about the consumer one bit. The managers/security guards are there to hit on girls and show there strength. Spend your money elsewhere. This place is a joke.
I always hear horrible people talk about going to this horrible place. Terrible staff, ambience, beer, and sanitary standards. Not to mention the fact that their staff routinely question legitimate patrons identification and ability / willingness to pay for their drinks. Why anyone would frequent this establishment behooves me.If you are considering going there please reconsider. There are plenty of other fine establishments to patron.
Saw Twista, great venue. Balcony was awesome, two bars up top there. Balcony was part of general admission so I was able to roam pretty much anywhere I wanted to get a great view. Tap beer was 5.50 during the concert, service was rapid and friendly. Security handled two events without most people even noticing, perched on the balcony and sober, little goes unnoticed. About four artists performed before Twista, the best being a young man named Yungboutit, but all of them came into the crowd to participate and support each other which was heartwarming to see. Entered the main door on the side of the building with the light rail and walked straight into the venue from there. Doors opened at 10pm which is when the concert started the concert itself started about 1030-1045. No need to be early if standing room is ok, but Id you desire a table or booth being early is a necessity. Absolutely would go back, so close to artist I could smell his excellent marijuana as he puffed his blunt!
Nice place. It has a fun speakeasy feel to it. Some bands are just inherently loud but I noticed that the venue is very responsible by offering free earplugs to guests.
Bartender last night was extremely patient and kind when we stayed roughly a half hour after close. No amateur wrestling but the polite service is appreciated and the guy should be commended for putting up with us instead of going home.
Attended a concert at this place and watch the security allow joints to be lit on stage but was kicking people out for e-cigs and vapes- they were also very rude and refused to answer questions when my friend was kicked out- they didn’t even let us know what was going on just came for his coat and walked away. Wish you could give lower stars- super disappointed because we came as a groupand all had to leave before the concert even started after paying way too much for such a small andsad venue.
Safe to say that yesterday night will be my first and last experience with the Pourhouse. Terrible service and staff, as my husband and I were subjected to the discriminatory behavior of a select member of their staff simply because we’re part of the LGBTQ+ community. This is absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional. If you’re going to call yourself a night club/sports bar in a major metropolitan area (especially one that’s as close to the Gay 90’s as this one is), then I expect you to have the foresight to realize you’ll be catering to a myriad of demographic groups. If you are, yourself, an Ally or part of the LGBTQ+ community, I urge you to take your business elsewhere, seeing how “our kind” is not welcome here.****This took place the night of 12/15/18. We had several other friends with us at the time who can attest to what I wrote in this review (and to what my husband and one of our friends wrote in theirs.).Other than the blatant disregard for common courtesy shown by an extremely unprofessional staff member, the music here was OK; so that’s one positive that we can take away from this experience, at least.
They booked two popular local metal bands to play the Zombie Pub Crawl and two songs into the first bands set, they cut the show with no explanation. That, on top of their failure to provide any accommodations for the performers reflects very poorly on the establishment.
Went here for New years 2023. Was a little disappointed by the party, but the venue itself was cool. Drinks were good.
They have no respect for patrons or the bands booked to play. Overcharging at the door and pulling tables and chairs out from under people. They cut sets short, overcharge for WATER, and dont pay the bands or the promoters. These local bands in this scene work hard and put time into their craft, the least you could do is give them the respect they deserve.
Went to see a metal band play for zombie pub crawl and the set got cut off after two songs in to get the DJ on faster. Absolutely unprofessional. Do not book your show here.
If you are in a local band save yourself the hassle and dont book here. My band got our set cut off the first time we played there a few months ago and from what I have heard from other bands this is a regular occurrence. The venue also tends to use predatory booking companies that take advantage of local artists by either not paying them, or making them pay to play which is even worse. It makes me sick that the venue puts on so many of these big showcase shows which are just screwing over the local artists. Save yourself the trouble and stick with venues that actually care about the artists and the music scene.
Best party bus in Minnesota by FAR!! I rented from The Party Bus King for a surprise birthday party for my husband. The owner of the company helped me plan the locations along with getting our whole group deals and discounts at all of our stops. The bus was in one word Amazing. The driver was very professional as well as the concierge gentlemen. I was very impressed with their company. I can honestly say that they made my husbands birthday! Thank you Party Bus King!
Went to tour hosting a company party at The Pourhouse. Grabbed lunch with my coworker, and the burger was AMAZING, along with a ton of fries (my coworker had a massive mountain of tater tots that he was very happy with). The layout of the Pourhouse is truly awesome (secrets doorways!). Very cool place to hangout.
Because 1. Kicking a band off the stage and charging a band YOU boomed 10 bucks for WATER 2. Charging more than advertised on THEIR flyers website ect with no explanation 3. Trying to say they fixed it by paying the band when THEY WERE NEVER THE ONES THAT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH PAYING THEM and 4. Literally posting petty comments about it on an official business Facebook page. Boycott the metal out of this place. They are horrible!
Dont drink the tap beer. My friends and I ordered a pitcher of beer and it tasted nasty. We tried another beer and it tasted even worse. We asked the manager when the last time the beer lines were cleaned. He said beer lines dont need to be cleaned! Goes to show how much they know about tap beer. DONT DRINK THE TAP BEER!
Dont support this place. Known to jack up advertised ticket prices at the door and also cut the bands sets you paid to see in half because they dont like the way their crowd looks. Unprofessional business and unprofessional management rampant. Plenty of other options in the twin cities for entertainment.
The bouncer was very rude, if you go in after a Twins game on a Thursday, theyll take your seat right from up under you at like 9:30pm for the teeny boppers. Please do yourself a favor and dont make the mistake of sitting at the bar. Make it easy and find somewhere else to go.
La Clave band was fantastic,The dj music was good but need some adjustments on the speakers, pleaseThe idea of the unisex bathroom not my favorite partThe bartenders were fast and pleasantIll definitely come back in June to dance with La Clave again!!!
I didnt want to believe it. But they are STILL cutting band showtimes and STILL changing ticket prices at the door. They cut our timing the first time and we gave them a second chance and supposedly cleared everything up. NOPE. They dont care about you. NOT A PLACE FOR LIVE BANDS. DO NOT BOOK HERE.
Me and 2 of my friends were so excited to come here the night before Thanksgiving to just have fun and let loose since we’re college students. Right after we first walked in, a man behind the table told us that they weren’t open until 10:00 PM and we needed to wait outside (in the cold). It was 15 minutes to 10:00 PM so we just stood there. They told us to go to sneaky pete’s instead and I got the feeling they didn’t want us there. The same man walked out with his buddy who also worked there and noticed my friend’s keys were on the floor and stared at us to signal that we dropped something. As soon as my friend picked it up, him and his buddy walk back inside, laugh, and muttered “psh, kids”. First off, if they have nasty comments about customers, save it until we’re not 3 feet away. Second, I’m not sure why they were so rude considering we went there to offer them business. Also, what’s wrong with being a college student and wanting to go here? First experience ever at this establishment and I’m most likely never going to go back nor are my friends. We went to sneaky pete’s instead like the men told us to.
Went to Chris Webby concert on Halloween. Was told by 1 bouncer to leave balcony area due to my wrist band not being the correct color. Once I showed him my ticket stub that proved I paid for balcony he left us alone. The venue itself was pretty small, and some of the bouncers were rude, and just obviously unhappy with their jobs but seeing one of my fav artists so close in person was worth it. Ill go again
Kinda dead. Say lunch specials only M-F or take the things off the table. Also, order more soft pretzels so you have them on Sundays for football.Server was very nice and food was good though.
Booked a metal show and then decided they didnt wanna do a metal show and cut a great band off after 2 tracks. Also provided no accommodations and went as far as to charge the acts for Water. Not professional and incredibly insulting to a band thats been putting in work for years. Dont go here. Dont book shows here. Spread the word
I had to ask 4 staff member at the bar for menus, before they me one. I cleaned and had to wipe down the table myself. I think the server is over worked. She was not very friendly. My hamburger was brunt very much to the point it was hard like a hockey puck. Cant say I would be returning in the future.
I feel like this is one of most under rated restaurants in downtown Minneapolis. The food is amazing. My favorite is the spicy chicken sandwich, but they also have some great burgers too. If your really adventurous go and try the hibachi chicken!
Idk who but one of the VIP barbacks was a complete ahole which was surprising. Other than that, I had a blast at Reventon 10/22, well done pour house. Yo perreo sola! 😎🥳
4 out of six times Ive been for Alumni events theyve had poor service and been understaffed. In addition 3 of those times they scheduled other events and we lost sound, got moved off to another location or didnt have proper staff to play the game so we missed the first quarter.
My friends and I had our drinks spiked with something by a bartender here. This place is not safe!!
This venue has absolute zero regard or care for the musicians that perform there. They’ve been known to cut sets short when they don’t like the music the band is playing, cut shows short so they can cater to their “dance” crowd, raise advertised ticket prices charged at the door for no explainable reason, and all of this while refusing to pay the musicians, or even offer free or discounted food or drinks to the musicians. How does a venue charge $18/person while not paying the performers a single dime? This place does not deserve your business, nor is it anything even remotely special enough that you should be going there in the first place.
Walked up to the entry line with my girlfriend tonight and they said she was too drunk to get in? First of all I’m 23 and she’s 18. She doesn’t even drink lol she’s not old enough!? She was completely sober. It was her first time going out to a club and she couldn’t even get in. It was a huge let down. We were both dressed up to par and ready to have a fun night, but that wasn’t able to happen. We wasted 6.50 on parking as well as 10.00 in gas to get downtown.
Will basically be dead most nights unless an event is being held. Ive had multiple friends get their drinks drugged. Only saving Grace is there interesting back room but its closed more often than its open.
We got Vip table and bottle service for my little brothers 21st birthday. a bounce grabbed my little brother and his friend by the throat and choke slammed them outside the bar. they say we wouldnt pay. we tried to pay as soon as we got our liquor, they said pay when we leave (dumb). I was standing at the vip table with about $450 in my pocket as this happened...the club is alright, but the staff make it bad enough to where you would want to go to another bar or club. I would not recommend anyone to this club, there are much better places in Minneapolis to go to...also my older brother got jumped right outside the club entrance. not the clubs fault but it shows us what kind of crowd hangs out there and the area of town....I highly recommend going somewhere else to have a fun night in Minneapolis.
Long wait and very little food for a lot of money. If you order a steak that is all you get. No mash potatoes or veggies to go with the meal. I didn’t feel it was worth my money although the steak was indeed very tender.
I purchased a ticket for The Fall Kick-Off tonight to see my cousin play in his band. And now its cancelled because they were double booked!! I dont get it, I bought the ticket from YOUR WEBSITE! This club is super unprofessional.
We love the fun atmosphere of the Pourhouse and make it a point to stop there every time we are traveling to Minneapolis! So many cool , unique aspects to this place and delicious drinks! Definitely recommend!
Ive been here multiple times. This last time I was here I was there for no more than 10 minutes when I was grabbed and thrown out because my hat was backwards. On the way out I counted multiple others with their hats the same way. The bouncer didnt say one word to me besides that I cant have my hat backwards. If they are going to enforce a dress code all of a sudden then they might want to do it at the door. Not after you pay a cover! For this incident and the extremely over priced drinks ($27 for two tap beers) is why I will not be going back and hope others dont as well.
Loud booming music with a good mix to it, bar selection is good for getting drunk but nothin too fancy, security is active throughout the night, so it helps keep the shenanigans to a minimal. Perfect for college students
The chairs were way to hard to be sitting for almost 2 hours watching a comedy show. Also where this is located they should have wanded people to make sure everyone is safe alcohol was being served and who knows if guns came inside not a comfortable feeling at all.
Call it what you want...KCs Cocktails, Plum Crazy East or newly crowned Myerz PourHouse. Its the same place. Its been YEARS since Ive visited this place for a late night drink, but upon arrival, it hadnt really changed much. The same loud guys and gals having a smoke outside....the usual doorman...the usual music playing inside. The only difference this time was I sat at the bar and made contact with the bartender and she kinda ignored me for a GOOD while, while she engaged in conversation with other customers...walked outside...chatted with the other bartender. Finally she came and took my beer order. Some people were on the dance floor (not as many as the Plum Crazy days), a few people playing pool and some people at the bar. Its still a dive bar, however, its one of the only dive bars in E. County that I feel comfortable in besides Kellys or Ye Olde Village Inn.
Not a fan. Glad its gone now
This is the SECOND time I paid to see a band play there and they were cutoff less than 5 songs in, so a full overhyped DJ could play for the burb kids. DONT BOOK BANDS IF YOU WONT LET THEM PLAY! I wouldnt be surprised if they stiffed the bands in their pay, but thats just speculation on my part
They cut they band off after a 2.5 hour load in after 10 minutes of play and charged the band members $10 for a glass of water just because the bartender didnt like them. Worth bar. I bounced metal shows for years and was appalled at what happened.
Ive been to this location multiple times and have really enjoyed myself but Saturday January 13th will be my last. A group of my friends and i came to celebrate someone birthday. We got vip and everything. As we are walking around one of the security guard name Josh approach my girlfriend and i and start to swear at me telling me to move. I was confused as to why because i wasnt in his way whatsoever. He then gets into my face and continueto swear at me telling me my skin sells and if i dont move again he will kick me out. Me being a black man and Josh being a white individual I took offense to what he said. I asked to speak to a manager which he tell me that hes the manger. He then call for backup for reasons that are beyond me as he was the one being aggressive toward me. After that another security guard which happen to be back comes up and takes to me. My girlfriend and i told him the whole story and he tells me Im not the first persons of color to have that experience with Josh and how theres been multiple complaints against him which i fully believe. I went and talked with another manager name mike and he didnt seem to care that much about my experience. My issue here is pourhouse clearly has someone who feel like he can do whatever with the little power he has. Ive worked at a bar before as a security guard and one thing you always have to remember is that those customers are the one who put money in your pocket. This security guard Josh clearly has had issue with people of color. I dont know anything about him to call him races but his action was that night. He might not be but his action was and that is not okay for an establishment who is trying to be inclusive to everyone. This establishment also has a person of color as its co-owner. I expected more and for that will never come back here again. I will also tell all my friends and family to do the same.
Just been here for club hours, its an okay club but the DJs usually have questionable playlists and fights more likely than not break out. Drink prices arent all that attractive either.
I do not recommend Pourhouse for several reasons. The staff not letting people in even though there was space in the lobby area was very disheartening. Especially when it was super cold and for a whole hour with rain
The Pour House is so much more than good food and great music! The hidden treasures throughout the amazing Lumber Exchange building are awesome . . . Event space . . . Hidden bars . . . Great kissing booths . . . Exclusive lounge areas . . . All wrapped up in breathtaking architecture.
A great place to dance!Theres usually a cover charge, but its worth. The drinks are bomb and not overpriced like other clubs.
This place was fun. The music was goodThe bartenders were cool and respectful. Drinks were priced too high in my opinoon. Other then that, this place has it all.
I had a really negative experience at the Pourhouse tonight. Their coat check didnt allow me to put my sweater in my pocket or sleeves of my coat when checking it, and their staff was unnecessarily rude about the issue. Its Minnesota in January—layers are necessary. I really dont feel like patronizing a business that feels the need to nickle-and-dime me for dressing safely in the winter.
High energy bar with club feel to it. Great place to hit at night if youre looking for crowds and fun. The live music rounds out the atmosphere well.
I had the pleasure of attending the benefit for Bridge for Youth called Jam for Youth. It was a night filled with music from local hip hop artists and other local greats such as Reed Benjamin, Vinny Crook$, Xaria, Symone Smash It, and Phillip Saint John. There was live painting by some of the Twin Cities impressive artists and everyone attending had a sense of spiritual fulfillment because it was benefiting an organization assisting youth and their families through times of crisis. The Bridge is a welcoming community that does so much in support of families and participants benefit greatly from their service. The Pourhouse had great food! I had the poutine and it was delicious and very large. Im not anticipating returning as the music acts scheduled do not look to be of interest, but if Im able to participate in an event similar to Jam for Youth, then Ill return.
As ALWAYS our visit to the Pourhouse was AMAZING!!! Sema (sorry if I am not spelling it right) took care of us like always and she is an absolute doll and we love her. We had so much fun celebrating my friends birthday and Im so glad we can to visit our Pourhouse Family.
Great atmosphere in a multi-level venue with multiple bars [no waiting forever] and tons of surprises. Two people lost their phones and both were turned in and returned - so that was pretty boss.
Last night Irie Minds had an awesome show! We had a new waitress and I didnt catch her name but she was the best one weve had there. She did a great job!
The Pourhouse sounds like a lovely establishment and is a lot of fun when you first enter. However, when someone tries to take the fun to the next level they have the AUDACITY to STOP the fun. At a club? This is a disgrace to the American culture. When an individual attempts to crowd surface at a club, the America people should unite and hold their citizen ahigh! When the Pourhouse failed to uphold the American dream, the Pourhouse made their biggest mistake. Let us hope and pray that from this day on, the Pourhouse learns from their mistakes and thus does not let history repeat itself. Let the American people Unite and show respect for the crowd surf! God bless the Unite States of America! Together we stand, as one.
Terrible!!! The bouncer took my drink around the corner. He brought it back and when I told him I didnt want the cup due to the fact that I did not trust the contents I was told I had to leave. To be honest this place could be awesome but its kinda creepy.
Im not sure who is collecting a profit here but somebody should tell them that all their bartenders are wasted and handing out free drinks to their friends. when I questioned 1 of the bouncers about all the bartenders drinking on the job, he poured me a free triple shot of goose, which of course I accepted and shut up. the will call girls who walk around in the little black dresses were grabbing bottles out of the cooler on the 2nd level by the skyway exit and vip booths and drinking them. They would pop a bottle and stand around that cooler drinking it, Id imagine they didnt pay for it. The pourhouse will soon enough change ownership again because the current owners clearly arent watching their staff . Ill be honest Im thinking about applying......free party and drinks for you me and all my friends
Sold us VIP tickets for and event. Oversold the place and there was hardly a place to even stand. VIP should at least come with something nicer since you pay more but it didnt. Horrible service. Greedy bar to oversell the event. Never coming back.
I was surprised by this place. Entrance was a little awkward to find, but it was a solid spot. Watched MNF there with a minimal crowd. TVs and service were excellent. Boneless wings and chicken sandwich were delicious.
Cool place with lots of hidden spaces. Not feeling like loud music? Find the hide out. Need a smoke but dont feel like standing on the crazy sidewalk? Find the smoking bar.
Love the poorhouse. Always nice people who attend it. Its was kinda hard for my male friends to get in tho They would not let one in cause he was wearing skinny jeans. And the other one cause he wasnt dressed nice enough.
Thank you for making my birthday so special. My friends and I had a fabulous time on your stunning bus. The concierge and driver were tremendous! I will recommend your company to everyone!!Thank you.
Saw a show here and it was a great experience. Food was great, bartender was very personable. Sound for the live music was great and the bathrooms were clean.
Two for one is a great HH deal! However, note that the mules are not apart of this. I ordered it under this impression and they only brought one and told me it wasnt apart of the HH deal - other basic mixed drinks like rum and cokes are.
Tried to be at a table with a buddy and got literally picked up and dropped down because of it. Then tried to grab a VIP table and no one waited on us for an hour and a half. Never again. Too many better places to be in downtown.
This is a very cozy spot!! When there is live music..it is booming. You want to have a chill night out, this is a good spot. You want a night to get music and be elegant, this is the spot!!
Great place to watch a game or see a band play it has a great view of the stage and big screen with two levels. Drinks are reasonably priced and a generally great time!
Racist place!! Server was very rude and racist just because he is serving bunch of colored men. They deserve -ve rating. In my opinion, one star is overrating this place. Unfortunately one star is the least I could give.
Love this place! Music, food, the whole thing. Wanna watch a Vikes game on a movie screen? They got ya. Wanna dance and sweat on the weekend? The have you covered there too!
Always have a great time here, great DJs and a lively crowd. Pretty fast bar service considering how many people they can pack in there.
Dress code is lame. Staff is rude. Dj isnt that great at all and lets not forget women arent very nice. But hey dont listen to me thats just my opinion.
Pourhouse is the most anti-lgbtqia+ bar in the city of Minneapolis! I have never experienced such oppressive and discriminatory actions from staff as I have from pour house staff! The staff threatened me saying that they would call the cops for me checking on my husband in a unisex bathroom! I have never been so appalled in my life!
Friend got her phone and wallet stolen. Staff was very rude and unhelpful! Did not offer any help recovering her things. DO NOT COME HERE. Truly go anywhere else, and if something bad happens, they will be more helpful.
I sat through an entire Paint Nite event without a single person asking if I wanted a beer? If you dont want to sell me a beer, then I guess Im not buying a beer. Thanks for a sober night at a bar.
The people who work here are rude as heck!
Good selection of food and beer. Try a burger stuffed with cheese and fries then skip your next wheel and hit that treadmill for an hour! It’s hard to say no to the wide array of burgers.
Well I used to give this place a 5 star review. But after recent actions regarding their treatment of local musicians they only get 1 star. Do better.
Just a terrible establishment. Charge a cover absolutely last place in a sea of place where you get in free. Service and bartenders were garbage and practically empty on a Friday night.
I am not typically a night club person, but this bar made me change my mind. Great music, nice staff, great spaces. I like this!
I thought that this was a great place until someone wearing a Pourhouse shirt came and dumped my one drink into the garbage before asking if I was done or not! Literally, came up, grabbed my half full drink and threw it into the garbage and walked away!!!!Never again.
As both a performer and a patron I have never failed to have a great time at the pourhouse. Especially like the 3 bar set up and hammerschlaggen in the garage.
Great band advertising made it seem like they had 2 4 1 specials from 2 pm till 2am Sundays but not for us . dont plan on going back
Good food. Good Music. Good drinks.Overpriced food. Bring earplugs. Drinks overpriced.Fun place though. Ears still ringing and its 1 hr later.
I gave the bartender a tip and just because I havent gathered the money together yet she grabbed it all and made a rude remark towards me. I gave her a tip and she was very ungreatful. Super rude.
Known for charging more than the advertised cover at the door. Also likes to cut bands sets for no apparent reason. Do not recommend.
Ive only been here for live music. Sound system is awesome, good bands, not a huge crowd, food and drinks are good, staff is fantastic.
This was a great venue for a private event I attended - fun atmosphere and lots of little spaces where we could hangout!
Plenty of space to dance or not to dance. Never had to wait too long at the bar. Fun entertainment booked for the night too.
Wow, pourhouse is right, they just spelt it wrong... it should be poor house, Poor sound, poor management. How long have you been doing this and you double book events, and try to screw bands out of the money they made for the venue. Completely disgusted with this place and I will never go back.
Stopped there for lunch the other day (first visit). Decent burger, fun space, but I thought that the prices were a bit steep for appetizers and such.
Music was great and that was about it. Food way overpriced but they dont pay their musicians which is a big reason no one should support this venue.
0 stars if I could. Horrible location for a rap concert. People were getting thrown out for use of vapes and even the artists couldn’t smoke. Lame. First and last time going here.
They messed up a Jameson and ginger ale. How? I have no idea. But what I was given was flat, disgustingly sweet, and definitely didnt have Jameson or ginger ale in it.
Too hot, people got sick, floors get slippery from humidity in room. Wasnt fun. Great cigar bar in back though.
If youre a band that likes playing at a venue where you get cut off after 10 minutes, and just LOVE paying $10 for water, this is the venue for you!!
Gets a little crowded, lol, but the food is great! The only drink I had there was a margarita which was very good.
Been here 3 times now, never had enough staff to get a beer in a decent time - line is at least 4 people deep anywhere you can manage to move to.
