My date and I went to the Teardrop Igloos at Somewhere Nowhere for my pre-birthday date night last February. We had a reservation for 7:15 PM. We were running a few minutes late, but they give you a 15 minute grace period. From the moment we entered, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. It was chilly and drizzling, but regardless we had an awesome time! The view of Manhattan is gorgeous! The aesthetic was chic, classy, and absolutely breathtaking! The igloos were heated and you have the choice to listen to your own music as well dim or brighten the chandelier. We had the spicy tacos, the ceviche, grilled cheese with tomato soup. The food are small plates, so don’t go there super hungry. The champagne and cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend it to experience it at least once! It is truly a remarkable experience.
The atmosphere is very welcoming! And fun. The energy is infectious. I went on Wednesday night and experienced Gotham Jazz which had a brazz band and a jazz singer. Patrons were given a tutorial on Swing Dance and then once the music played they went to town. The bar which would be scene as the centerpiecebwent along with the back splash of the decor, which brought some much ambiance to the place. The space overall had a very intimate quality to it. The quality and presentation of the food and drink was 10/10. Morgan who was my tables waitress for the evening, did so well tending to the table and checking in periodically to see if my needs were being met. She even help restore balance when my reservation space was being encroached upon by other guests. Thank you so much for that againWith the backdrop of the city skyline, views like no other and being able to almost kiss the Empire State Building, I would say you should run to experience this place and stop by often as the seasons change.
WARNING ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️I was violently attacked in this club by their security because I wanted to go to the bathroom!!I dont usually go out to clubs. I joined my friends. I have all the all the videos recorded of them hitting me and I’m going to add here some of them for people to see!The men working there was hitting me, ripping off my clothes and my jewellery!!!This place is not even worth $4. I’ve added the video off myself holding the part they just ripped off my dress. 5 tall security guard was aggressively trying to pull me out getting into the elevator with me and all for no reason I was just trying to escape since I didn’t got what the hell are they doing just trying to tell them not to touch me or my body! When the police came they said it was because I standing in a place I’m not allowed to be and I’ve been told to move. (They said they don’t want to show them the cameras)As far as I know I had a reservation and they were pulling me out aggressively from the line to the toilet. I didn’t even understand what was going on or why. I spent in total less than two minutes inside the place and must say it was a terrible place!!!I can see in the reviews I’m not the only girl they did it to.DO NOT GO THERE!!!Even when they answered this comment they didn’t took the time to delete their “option 3:” and put the right name in place (I guess the same thing already happened to Alicia)..Don’t be the next Alicia! Don’t go there!!!
My partner (female) was not allowed due to open toe foot wear by The bald bouncer in mid 40s. I saw him allowing other girl walk in with beach sandals. I also noticed him giving different cover charge prices based on looks and race. I had Salvatores from the ground up. The bald bouncer had Nike shoes on with jeans and a white t-shirt. After confronting him about letting other girls go inside with sandals, he did not allowed me to go inside also. I took pictures of the bouncer letting other girls walk inside with sandals and he did not like that at all. I came to spend money $$ but unfortunately did not get the opportunity. Owners should be ashamed with trash bouncer employee who is costing the business money. I showed him what I had in my wallet $$$ before leaving the place LOL.
Races club. They didn’t allow me in ( although I’m on guest list for club) over flats, I was wearing. But they let 3 Asian women in with flats. After the manger, gave the door the okay to let me in. He still refused( door man Josh). They only want have white clients, because it have nothing do with what, I was wearing. It had to do with the color of my skin. This is sad, this my first time coming here, I’ll never come back.I put a picture of my clothes for reference. I’m dressed for action.
They told me that I need to pay for entry minimum bar spend fee $100 which I didAnd then bartender charged me for one vodka cranberry $39That $100 didn’t even count like host told me and I asked her 2 times how it works out. Also she asked me if I want a copy of the bill and I said yes and she said she will send it to me on my email which I never got!!!Also bartender gave me only his copy for signature good thing I took a picture of it.So I ended up paying 139 for 10 minutes in the club. This place is tourist trap. Made up to take your money.only thing good about it is a view. Other than that nothing. Save your time and just skip it.
We came here as a date night for the igloo experience during the holidays at the end of December. This was at the rooftop and the views are quite stunning as you get a beautiful shot of the NYC skyline. The igloo itself is super cute and cozy. Our server was Lily and she was amazing - very attentive!!! Menu is limited and food is not bad.
We had an absolutely incredible time here! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking view of the city skyline that stretched out before us. The rooftop oasis provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city below. The pool was pristine and inviting, offering a refreshing respite from the summer heat. The attentive and friendly staff ensured that we had everything we needed, and the delicious cocktails and delectable food added to the overall fantastic experience. Whether youre a local or a visitor, I highly recommend this rooftop pool club for an unforgettable day of relaxation and luxury in the heart of NYC! ⛱️🏙️🌞
This place was crazy fun. Went on a Wednesday evening during Jazz night and had a wonderful time. The music and dancing were a blast. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, a throw back event, then this is the place to come. Bring your dance shoes and make a reservation. If you come early then you can take advantage of happy hour pricing.
My friends and I had an idyllic day at the pool last Sunday. Its a beautiful setting and was the perfect venue for a feels like 97 degree day. There was definitely a buzz but it was not overcrowded--and all adults:).The staff was very attentive and the drinks were amazing! Highly recommend.
TERRIBLE experience. I was physically assaulted in the hotel lobby by Somewhere Nowheres security guard (a tall fat bald black man) when I asked for a to go container for my food. Service was slow. We ordered a salad and fruit/cheese plate that took over an hour. We watched other people who were seated after us get their food and finish it before our food arrived. When food did arrive, salad was made wrong. The view is not worth the poor service and headache of the bouncer.
My experience here was simply outstanding! The moment I arrived at this hidden gem above the city, I knew I was in for a treat. The panoramic view of New Yorks iconic skyline was breathtaking, and the rooftops ambiance exuded a sense of serenity that was unparalleled. I spent a blissful day lounging by the pool, enjoying the cool water and warm sun, while feeling completely detached from the urban hustle below. What truly made this rooftop pool club exceptional was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, ensuring that every moment of my visit was nothing short of perfection. The delicious food and well-crafted cocktails added to the overall experience, making it a day of pure indulgence. Whether youre a local or a visitor, this rooftop oasis offers an unforgettable urban getaway that you wont want to miss. Its a definite 5-star destination for anyone seeking a relaxing and upscale retreat amidst the vibrant cityscape! 🌇🏖️🍹
My visit here was a true escape into paradise! The breathtaking city view from the rooftop left me in awe, and I found myself captivated by the stunning scenery. The ambiance was simply magical, with chic decor, comfortable seating, and a tranquil pool area that made me feel like I was in a luxury resort far away from the citys hustle. The attentive and friendly staff catered to my every need, ensuring I had a memorable experience. From sipping on delectable cocktails to soaking up the sun, it was a day of pure bliss. I highly recommend this rooftop paradise to anyone seeking a sensational escape in the heart of NYC; its an oasis that promises an unforgettable experience! 🌃🏊♂️🍹
Good service and atmosphere but the bouncers downstairs were unfriendly and sassy. Acted suspicious of me when I said I was meeting someone with a reservation. Questioned the name, said I needed to know what floor, then said I was saying a different name and changing my story and wouldn’t let me in line for about 10 minutes.
Went to the rooftop bar between the hours of 5-8:30pm on a Friday evening with my boyfriend before late dinner reservations. When we initially got there, we essentially had the entire rooftop to ourselves and I loved it! The vibe is really cute! We were seated inside at first and then transitioned to the igloo outside. Despite it raining, it was still perfect, cozy and intimate. There is a $300 minimum for this, but you receive a complimentary bottle of Veuve. You can connect your phone to a speaker inside the igloo to set the music vibe you want to curate. The views of the Empire State building were beautiful. We also had a great server that frequently came outside to check on us despite the rain. For my experience, I took off one star for the drinks which I felt were tasty, but could have definitely been stronger.
I booked Somewhere Nowhere to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was wonderful. The team was very accommodating of my requests, food was tasty, drinks were great, and the service was excellent. It is a calm, beautiful setting against the backdrop of NYC.
This place is amazing! My cousin had her bachelorette party here and let me tell you that we had a blast! The music, the food, the ambiance was perfect. I helped my cousin pick this place and we were so satisfied with the choice. We arrived very early to check everything out in advance and spoke with the staff that we ended up forming a great relationship with. I wish I could’ve taken pictures during the night but we were so distracted from having fun I couldn’t. Ha! Anyway, this is a great place to bring people together to socialize, drink and dance. After drinking and dancing we all were very hungry. We ordered from the menu and I was so amazed at how delicious the food was. We plan to take a trip back to NYC just to visit this rooftop. 11 out of 10!
I love this place. I usually come multiple times in the summer but went this weekend in July and it did not disappoint. The seating is plentiful - lots of comfortable couches and loveseats and chairs all over the bar area inside and really comfortable seating options on both rooftop areas. One of the outdoor rooftop areas is open in the winter and heated. Extensive bar menu and more limited food menu. Good views up and down and the staff is incredibly helpful and always friendly.
Unveiling a slice of paradise amidst the urban skyline, this rooftop pool club in the heart of New York is the epitome of luxury and relaxation. From the moment I stepped into this oasis high above the bustling streets, I was swept away by the stunning panoramic views that stretched before me, a breathtaking backdrop to the impeccably designed poolside haven. The attentive and courteous staff catered to my every whim, ensuring that my time spent lounging by the sparkling pool was nothing short of a lavish escape. The ambiance, an artful blend of sophisticated tranquility and vibrant energy, set the perfect tone for both unwinding with a refreshing cocktail and reveling in the citys vibrant spirit. Without a doubt, this rooftop pool club has redefined my New York experience, offering a five-star escape thats second to none.
Cant believe that ive only recently found this place! And it has it all: a killer combination of incredible skyline views, interior and the music. I was totally mesmerized from the moment I walked in. Their jazz wednesdays are an absolute blast, with talented musicians taking you back in time with their soulful tunes. And let me tell you, the staff knows how to make you feel like a VIP.From the friendly welcome to the attentive waitstaff and talented bartenders, they made sure my night was unforgettable. If youre looking for a one-of-a-kind experience thats equal parts cool and classy, this place is where its at.
Amazing experience at this place! The ambiance is top-notch, with stylish decor and a vibrant atmosphere. The rooftop pool offers breathtaking views, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a refreshing swim. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring you have a fantastic time. The nightclub features fantastic music and great vibes, making it an ideal spot for dancing and socializing. Whether youre looking for a relaxing day by the pool or a fun night out, this place has it all!
The rooftop pool area was absolutely amazing! Hanging out up there, sipping on cocktails, and taking in that breathtaking city skyline was like living in a dream. And the staff? They were on point! Super friendly and always making sure we had the time of our lives throughout the night. The vibe was off the charts! The party seamlessly transitioned from indoors to the incredible rooftop. Clean, cool, and just all-around awesome, this place definitely deserves a solid five stars! Cant wait to come back for more fun!
I absolutely loved the vibe of this place. 10 out of 10! I went for my birthday and the staff treated me so well. The staff was so friendly and the decor of the place was very inviting. The atmosphere was unbeatable and the food was perfect for the ambiance of the rooftop. The views were spectacular because you can see the skyline of NYC. I cannot wait to visit again.
Horrible hour+ total long experience with getting in and out of the venue even with paid tickets. 1 elevator to service hundreds of people on a major holiday while you charge $29 for a vodka Red Bull? What a joke. 2 stars only because of the good DJs.
DO NOT SPEND MONEY AT THIS CLUB! It was my friends birthday and we got a 3k table with bottle service for 12 men and 8 guys came early and they didn’t let the other 3 in later and told them they will not let them in unless they spent 600$. This club is a scam and they take advantage of people once they get their credit card. My best friends birthday was ruined and they had to spend extra because the 3 of us were not allowed in unless we payed 600$. The man at the door his name was Ben and he was extremely rude and lied about speaking to a manger and lied and said we had more than 12 men at the table. That man at the door BEN deserves to get fired because he ruined the reputation of a well established night club and the table will be disputed on the Amex and he lost the owners out on over 3k. DO NOT SPEND MONEY AT THIS FRUAD ESTABLISHMENT.
Amazing club!! The atmosphere, vibe and overall set up is probably the best I’ve seen around the world. Shoutout to William, spectacular bouncer who felt us boys from Singapore very welcomed to the club and made the night really special for us. He was just amazing (not just him but the entire crew) who made a night worth remembering for years to come. If ya’ll are in NYC and is looking out for a grand place to vibe with spectacular DJ, please do check this place out. Ignore the negative reviews, it’s a high energy place and you gotta play by the rules for the safety of everyone!! Thank you Nebula & William for making a night worth remembering!
This place has the best cityscape and the interior was so pretty and whimsical, the rooftop deck offers amazing views of the Empire State Building and the Manhattan skyline. The drinks were super tasty and the music was on point. The food was delicious and they had a good variety to choose from. I would definitely go back for sure.
The doorman was rude beyond measures. You would think this was the most exclusive spot ever & NO… no line, no conversation, he’s goes “guest list only” and walks away. The man had nerve he look like a TROLL. The bouncers …. Forget about it… asked if we had a reservation and when we said no, just said no problem the door man will be down in a minute instead of letting us know it’s “guest list only” because it wasn’t. Because we watched another group with no reservation get in with noooo problem. We know why though. I just had to leave a review to let people know how rude this DOORMAN was, you are a Doorman, you should have better customer service because people are coming to your establishment to spend money, they aren’t giving away anything FREE.
Had my first bad experience with NYC nightlife here after living here for years and going out regularly. Place practices bad business practices. Bought a ticket at the door from posh.vip that had 5-10pm listed on it and had no entry requirement on the page itself. Was immediately after told by bouncers that it was “too late” for tickets at 8:15pm and asked to pay $100 for a minimum bar tab. I had previously read reviews for other places around the world similar to this on google maps and thought those were a hoax. I would avoid this spot - another customer leaving overheard this interaction and pulled me aside to tell me it was absolutely not worth it up there. Hoping posh refunds me.
Absolutely stunning! This rooftop pool club in NY is a true gem that offers an unparalleled escape from the citys hustle and bustle. The breathtaking skyline views are complemented by the chic and vibrant ambiance, making it the perfect oasis for relaxation and socializing. Impeccable service, a refreshing pool, and a carefully curated menu of cocktails and bites create an unforgettable experience that defines luxury and leisure. Whether youre seeking a serene sun-soaked afternoon or a lively evening under the stars, this rooftop pool club exceeds all expectations and deserves every one of its five stars.
Maybe it is just me, but I really not missing this classical city night club setting, once I discovered Brooklyn Mirage. By setup I meant very aggressive push for a table service and bar minimum. Since I was driving I ended up paying $350 for a peice of couch and a can of red bull. Although it is located on the last floor of the building it is not really a rooftop. Yes there is good Birdseye view of the city , but in order to see it you have to intrude someones table. On the bright side, if you are in the mood for some action during the week, that could be a good place to try.
SN totally blew me away! when i walked in, i was like god damn... the dance floor was so cool with all the lights and stuff—it really got me pumped. the bartenders were like magicians, making these awesome drinks that tasted incredible. oh and the view of the city from the windows? it. was. epic. if you want an amazing night out, this club is where its at. trust me, you wont be disapointed
I stumbled upon Somewhere Nowhere while looking for a new place to grab drinks with friends and we all loved it!This place had great vibes, and the rooftop is great as the sun was going down. Looking across midtown and seeing the skyline was awesome and very peaceful. You would never know that you were in midtown Manhattan. It was the perfect mix of chill/quiet/scenic that we were looking for and definitely recommend people check this place out.
This place is amazing! We had a great time at the pool bar on the rooftop, loads of fun, nice cocktails and dancing. Breathtaking view of the city, made me feel like I was in a SATC episode! We had some light bites too, the warm lobster roll and chips & guacamole were delicious! The music was great as well as the service, everyone so kind and nice, they really did their best to make us feel cozy and comfortable while enjoying our experience there. I wil definitely find my way back, first chance I get!
Honestly, couldn’t rate it any lower. This was my second time here and second time getting scammed. The bouncers are as rude as you can imagine, but that’s not even the worst part: the bouncers asked us to pay cover on top of the tickets which we had already bought prior.Horrible, horrible place. Would recommend to avoid if you can.
We had an amazing experience yesterday at Somewhere Nowhere NYC. The vibe and the view was breathtaking. The interior is so creative like you are in a dream. We really enjoyed the drinks and especially the cocktails. The service was friendly and polite. The music was amazing and inspirational. Everything was extraordinary! We loved it and we highly recommend this place ❤.
I don’t understand the bad reviews. We went on a Saturday night for drinks and the service we received was amazing. From the coat check , to the lady who showed us our tables, to the service we received up top was nothing short of great. The music could’ve been better but that’s a matter of taste, and people looked like they were enjoying it so I can’t knock the techno. Drinks were good, the vibe and the view is breathtaking. I will definitely go back to this place in New York City
Went here for the first time for my girlfriend’s birthday and we both had a great time. The first thing that caught our attention was the view of Manhattan. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was great as well.Definitely recommend coming here to soak in the views of the city and to have a drink or 3.
Stayed in the Igloo with a friend and it was a perfect night! Everyone was so incredibly friendly from the manager who walked us there to our server who was so charismatic and took great care of us.The igloo was equipped with a fireplace, Alexa and cozy blankets. The perfect evening to spend with friends. The cocktails were reasonably priced and the view was amazing.Would I come back again here? Absolutely!11/10 experience
Kristy, Jayson, G, Walle and team are so great to work with. Super accommodating and true event & hospitality pros. Youre in good hands with them and your guests will be blown away by the venue and views. Will be back!
This place is gorgeous. The interior is so creative, like youre in a Midsummer Nights Dream, and the view is insane. I loved the drinks, my friend wanted something spicy so the bartender made her a custom mezcal and jalapeno cocktail. We came for jazz night and it was amazing, everyone was dancing and the live music was incredible.
What a Beautiful Day and Place to be , My Friends and Colleagues gone up to the roof for work event it was so such a beautiful evening and views were beautiful, The Staff was Friendly and helped us arrange a table we didn’t have to wait long, This Place was great for drinks and food, Prices wasn’t that expensive , I had my fair share of rooftops in NYC , this place was great gem. I highly recommended it for dates , Medium and Large groups as well. I will be making plans here in the future.
Dont know this rooftop has bad reviews. It is small and cozy so if you want a place to sit back and actually be able to hear what your company is saying this is the place for you. Amazing views! I so want to visit again and reserve one of the cute lgloo but we will see. I ordered the waygu sliders and truffle fries. No complaints, resonable price. The drink I dont remember the name but my cocktail was whisky with apple juice and cinnamon and it was the best! The next best after the view was my cocktail! And the service was friendly and i love the tree they put up for christmas.
I think the staff actually made my experience noteworthy. We had a sports league event reserve the whole venue. The elevator situation sucks getting up to the bar but I enjoyed the courteous manner, humor, and friendliness of their staff along the wait. The DJ was amazing remixes. The decor is sweet and the view of the city is amazing!
This place is horrible. I waited outside for 45 minutes while countless groups of 16 year olds in sneakers walked in. Once inside the music was giving tik tok rizz party. THEN this woman walks up to me, says ur hideous and proceeds to SLAP ME IN THE FACE. when i tell you i was shook. I told the security and promoters and they said the girl was at the owners table and did nothing about it. After being literally assaulted out of nowhere I will never go back to this grimey lame club. I would give this zero stars but it wont let me.
Wanted a fun place in NYC and found somewhere nowhere. The view and atmosphere is unbeatable. Also, the food and drinks were great. Prices similar to most bars and rooftops in NYC.Highly suggest checking it out. I went during the week which was perfect to get the best atmosphere for a fun night. The decor inside is beautiful and makes for great photos as well.
I recently went to this place with a couple of friends for a night out, but it wasnt great. We had to wait outside for ages, and it was freezing. When we finally got to the front, they wouldnt let our guy friend in without paying $200, even though we had a friend with a table inside. The bouncers were rude at first, but a bit nicer this time. When we went inside to find our friend, the vibe was off. There werent many people, and nobody was really dancing. The VIP area was cramped behind the DJ booth. The music was good, but the place felt small. Honestly, Im not sure if Id tell anyone to go there.
We booked (via Dice) to see an event on the 2nd of May 2024 for £70 but having gone straight from our hotel to the venue, upon arrival the doormen said we need to pay an extra $200 minimum spend to get a table booking or else they wont let us in!This was very upsetting having travelled all the way there across New York, and it was pretty obvious they were trying to shake us down for more money when realising that we were tourists from the UK.They said we can instead seek a refund from Dice but of course Dice wont refund unless the event is cancelled. So we were left £70 out of pocket for an event we werent allowed to attend and encountered incredible rude doormen. Be warned!
I had an extraordinary experience at the rooftop pool club in NY. The breathtaking skyline views paired with the luxurious ambiance create an unparalleled oasis amidst the urban hustle. The attentive staff catered to every need, ensuring a relaxing and indulgent time. The poolside cocktails were a delightful blend of creativity and taste, elevating the overall sensory journey. This venue effortlessly merges relaxation and sophistication, making it an absolute must-visit for those seeking the epitome of urban leisure and elegance.
So the view is fanstastic and the drinks and food were fine. The club on the other hand over charged and double charged us to get us well above the minimum charge, plus the music was flat out bad! Mediocre service, plus a not so hospitable place given the hotel in the building kinda shoved us out of the loby and even off the curb! In the end, its a nice looking place but i wouldnt go back at all.
Nyc has no shortage of beautiful rooftop bars with great drinks and this one needs a lot more work on its drinks to make the cut. We ordered three cocktails and didnt like any which is pretty ridiculous. The arancini appetizer was pretty good. We went in the winter with the rooftop igloos which were very well decorated and cozy. But the wind on the rooftop was insane! We couldnt actually be outside for more than a few minutes at a time and the servers(who were very nice) were running to and from the kitchen in their winter coats! Lol. Id probably give them a try in the summer again if a lot of reviews mention their drinks getting better since the service from start to finish was pretty great and the view is pretty nice too.
We love coming here for corporate events. Kristy- the manager always takes the best care of us and were so thankful to have her as a Partner!
Extortionate business practices, absolute scum. They’ll sell you a ticket on their website and say “come at 8 to guarantee entry.” Guy at the door said “we don’t allow tickets after 8:30 but if you pay $100 I’ll let you in.” Why not include the latter on the website? Why not say doors close at 8:30? Extortion. Thieves. Bad business.
This is a very intricate spot to go for drinks and a great location! The rooftop and the views are unbeatable!I usually stay away from rooftops, however this one change dmy mind -- the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was really tasty too.Definitely recommend stopping here if youre visiting to see the city in its full glory!
We were staying at the hotel Renaissance and came few times to this place. Honestly it’s a hidden gem. The key is to come for the lounge on the 39th floor (top floor with the pool area, you need to ask for it when doing a reservation), the lounge is accessible for booking until 9pm. The staff and service was great! The view is outstanding! The music isn’t too loud. We didn’t need to make it to the Top of the Rock or any other expensive rooftop. The view was the best and the drinks and bites very fairly priced in my opinion (expect 16$ for a glass of Prosecco, 20$ for a strong cocktail) :)
Bouncers here are on a power trip. We were trying to leave and multiple people kept getting let in front of us. Bouncers should’ve just gotten on their knees. Then when I complained the bouncer said “ you know n****s get choked out here” threatening me??? This place acts pretentious and boujee and isn’t even nice. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!
Just wanna give them a shout out. what a fantastic club and truly a fantastic staff. they always take care of you. i recently left a few things at a table i was at and afterwards, i was able to coordinate with their staff to get it back. simple and glorious. thanks guys!!!!
Absolutely stunning! The rooftop pool club in NY is a true gem that seamlessly combines luxury and relaxation. The panoramic views of the city skyline are breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a day of ultimate indulgence. The pools sparkling waters invite you to unwind while sipping on expertly crafted cocktails delivered by attentive staff. The modern and chic design of the space creates an ambiance of sophistication, making it an ideal haven for both locals and visitors seeking an upscale escape. Without a doubt, this rooftop pool club deserves every bit of its five-star rating for delivering an unforgettable experience that defines urban elegance.
As a venue for live shows it’s not ideal. It’s more of a nightclub in the sense that people are getting bottle service left and right and the servers and people can’t sit in one place, everyone is getting up CONSTANTLY and finding paths to walk through the crowd dancing. The floor also needs to be constantly mopped. If you’re more accustomed to Brooklyn Mirage this one may feel like a doozy.
Said that you needed to be “on a guess list” totally crazy. The bouncers looked at us up and down and said that lie. Definitely not worth it at all, bad experience trying to”NYC nightlife” I would’ve much rather be at Miami.

Had an epic evening at their Gotham Jazz Wednesday this week and can’t get over how gorgeous it was in there. The performers were unbelievable and we got a mini dance lesson in.Cocktails we’re delicious and the views of the city were beautiful. Everyone was smiling and so welcoming. God, such a gorgeous space. Can’t wait to return!
Above the rooftops of New York City, with fantastic views of the city, you can enjoy creative cocktail creations and everyone is sure to get their moneys worth! This is the place to unwind after a long, hard days work in a relaxed atmosphere, or to get comfortable before a long, glamorous night of partying Congratulations to all!
I want to say first and foremost that this review is based on being here during the day (around 6pm) and not for an event. We had cocktails on the 38th floor as we were told we needed a reservation for the 39th (the rooftop). No issue, we were just looking for some great craft cocktails. It’s pricey as is to be expected from this type of experience in NYC but the cocktails were fantastic and our bartender was fun and friendly. The theme is very enchanted/secret forest with garden gnomes and floral decor. I know with certainty that the vibe and overall feel would be very different for a nightclub event versus stopping in for a couple drinks. So again, this review can’t speak to what it’s like for nightlife. The view is great because of the huge windows on the lounge level. We also stopped on the rooftop before leaving just for the view and it really is lovely. If you’re looking for tasty and creative cocktails in a lovely space, it’s worth stopping in.
This club was very rude to me & my friends, we had went to the bathroom waited a giant line as we got to be next the director of the bathroom yelled at us to go back. We had selfies that we took that we tried to show him with the time as proof that we waited I even showed him ola picture that i took on the line that we litteraly did wait.he continued to get security bring us to wait on the line again i showed him the proof and he just was saying disrespectful outlandish things. as we waited on the line all over again he apologizes however he did kicked off as in the line intentionally. He even had the nerve to say “Are you mad at me because i made you wait again”. To have disrespectful workers like this it’s best to take you’re buissness elsewhere. Not only that but I was asked to tip twice after using the bathroom accommodations not sure if the establishment is on a budget but these workers need to get some class. There are way better clubs with way better services with promoters to be dealing with this kind of treatment.
A member of our party got stuck in an elevator. Every bouncer refused to help up and refused to alert the hotel. He was stuck in the elevator for over an hour and no one helped in any way. The bouncers and club refused to help us and refused to believed us. The staff treated us horribly and left our friend in danger.
My friend got violently kicked out for absolutely no reason. Shes got bruises on her arm. Bouncers should be fired for such a behavior. Also I paid cash for a drink and been asked to pay again for the same drink a minute later, saying I didnt pay. Terrible place.
We had such a good time there when we went!!! Couple of the girls and I wanted to go grab a drink, and we ended up going to an event. This past summer, every tuesdays someone hosted a desi event where they had a dj play some amazing music. The vibes were beautiful and the venue was amazing. We loved the drinks, we had so much fun we forgot it was a Tuesday:)
Service was great, food was good. I really enjoyed my time here. I was invited by my friends who were having a party here. I felt very safe with how the security and staff are set up. Management was very engaging and informative with their drinks and food. I would recommend this spot, it feels like a resort honestly.
I love going out to clubs in NYC and this is number one on my list as the best club that I go to , this past friday was great ! crazy but great there were hundreds of people waiting to see DJ Cloonee we were 6 of us and waited a long time to get in but the security guys in the front were coming around telling us to wait a bit more very organized and professional the doorman has a nice smile , when we got upstairs , let me tell you the wait was worth it !! We had such a great time we danced so much amazing music great drinks it was packed ! we stayed till the end of the night 2 security guys that we like ( we asked for there names ) Orris & Andres they are always asking if we are good if we have an Uber or a ride home making sure that we get home save !!This place has a great beautiful view !! we love every one there !! Be prepared to wait in exchange of a great time ,It’s certainly worth it !!
I wouldn’t recommend this place. We had a birthday celebration and the security guards were hard nosed about the silliest stuff. They wouldn’t allow me upstairs with a camera. They said a manager would have to approve it ahead of time. It was a birthday and a friends of mine brought gifts that they wouldn’t allow up either. Get over yourselves! It’s a bar! Not worth it.
Terrible attitude and behavior from staff and doorman towards non-vip guests. If you’re not vip, they are gonna make you freeze. And as a result, I had my jacket stolen.I always wanted to go to Somewhere Nowhere. I’m so sad that my first experience turned out this terrible. I arrived with a group of girls and we were asked to check our coats. I was wearing a sleeveless dress and had a nice black leather jacket on (see the pic from earlier that night at another venue). I insisted that I would like to keep my jacket on as it is part of my outfit but the bouncer says I cannot go the venue if I don’t take my coat off. We see other group of girls and guys head to the venue with their coats on. When I ask the bouncer, he says those people have been approved by management to go in with their coats. When we make it to the venue, the temperature is on the cooler side. I was having a great time, but I was freezing after few hours. So I asked a security guard if I could head back down to the lobby where coat check is to get my jacket and head back up. He responds yes, you can. So I go to coat check, get my jacket, put it on and go to the elevator to head back up. But the guy at the elevator does not let me up arguing again that I cannot go to the venue with a coat. I let him know that there are other girls upstairs wearing their coats (and like long winter coats as opposed to my trendy leather jacket) but he says those girls were allowed to wear their jackets by management!!!At this point, I don’t want to go back to the venue and I’m ready to head home because of the terrible attitude but I need to go to the bathroom before heading out. So I asked if there is a bathroom I could use in the lobby, and they say no and that I would need to go back to the venue to use the restroom. But I also need to take off my jacket to get to the restroom. I ask the coat check lady if I could check my coat back in since I just checked it out few minutes ago and she says no, and that I would need to pay again to check in my coat to go to the bathroom. I was in such a hurry to head to the bathroom so I left my jacket under the couch there, head upstairs back to the venue to go to the bathroom, then come back down after few minutes and my jacket is gone!! I ask the coat check lady about it, and she ignores my question while smoking a vape in my face. The bouncer says it is my fault since I had to pay again to check my jacket back in. This is the most ridiculous scenario I have ever experienced at a club. Their policies should apply to everyone and not just non-vip guests. Also, if they make you check in your coats, the temperature at the club should be tolerable and not so cold. I had my expensive jacket stolen because security told me that I can head back down and bring my jacket. I lost my jacket because I had to use the restroom!!! Policy should apply to all, and not just whoever management decides to!!!!
We had a reservation for the igloo and everything about it was so beautiful! The igloo was set up so nice. The views were amazing. The food was good. The service was excellent! Not sure if you are able to request a specific waitress, but if so, I recommend asking for Bessie! She’s literally top tier. She was so kind, attentive, and provided the best food/drink recommendations. I definitely would come back.
Really great view, coctails were amazing, staff was very friendly, overall I am very satisfied with the service and atmosphere!
Dude, this place is awesome! Theres this rooftop pool thats seriously jaw-dropping, with this insane view of NYC. Chillin up there and soaking in those city vibes was too cool. The folks running the show were super friendly, makin the whole vibe even better. Its a total five stars for this epic city spot 🌟🌆
Went to Somewhere Nowhere for Valentine’s Day and wow it was amazing. Live jazz, awesome food and cocktails, and amazing service from the hosts to service. 12/10 highly recommend. Oh and don’t forget the sunset views, wow!
By far thee best rooftop bar I’ve been to so far. The manager, Mr Patrick, to be specific was an absolute sweetheart!!! Most importantly professional and kind in executing his job. All of the staff was so accommodating to my rather peculiar request and was such hospitable hosts. 10/10 experience and I HIGHLY recommend this establishment❤️
Most unprofessional and rude security/bouncing team I’ve ever seen. They Clearly don’t know how to handle situations and there is too many on the dance floor near tables. Overpriced average drinks. Don’t plan on ever going again even if you paid me.
Terrible service and experience. Went there for an after-party for Fashion Week and the front of the house had no clue how to manage the crowd including the promoter Gerald. People were freezing outside in a long line that didn’t move for over 45 minutes. The hotel adjacent also didn’t cooperate and didn’t allow anyone to wait for Uber to arrive. Will never go back or refer anyone to go.
It’s a beautiful rooftop with beautiful people and great service! Really appreciated security and staff because by the end of the night I dropped my keys and couldn’t find them…Jenny the bottle girl was ON it, even though it was so busy! Her manager was just as helpful and calming me throughout the situation. They did a thorough search, but said they would sweep through all over again once everyone left. Thankfully it was found! Kurt was so helpful the following day to return them to me! …and I can say I still had a lot of fun that Sunday night despite my own mishaps! Definitely coming back for the music and very polite attentive staff!
The atmosphere was disgusting, we just wanted to chill out but it was full of old guys trying to talk to us in order to flirt and literally they could be our grand fathers. Really sad and uncomfortable experience.
Amazing views, cocktails on point and service that improves each visit. Don’t let the sea of people waiting to get in, or the long lines on the elevator to 35th floor discourage you. The newest addition to the roof top style post Covid has lived up to all its expectations. The haters are the ones that can’t get in, and they are right to say service isn’t up to par; but after a few visits I have noticed the improvement and crowd begin to be more regulars than tourists or promoters.
Scam. Avoid purchasing any tickets for music at this place. They ignore the fact that you have a ticket and hose you at the door for anywhere from $150-$400 .. all arbitrary and hustled by Josh (a venomous angry being) and other doormen lying and ripping people off. Avoid at all costs
Booked a rooftop igloo for two, and the vibes/atmosphere did not disappoint. Heated, intimate, adjustable lighting, and even has blankets for ultimate comfort. Reservation comes with a bottle of champagne. It has Alexa, so you can control the music too. Grilled cheese and tomato soup were fire, cheeseburger was simple but yummy, and tacos were great too. We had the queen of hearts and blue magic drinks which were good but we personally prefer sweeter drinks so they were okay for us. Service was great, Bessie was our server and made some great recommendations but overall she was just really personable and attentive. Made sure to even remember our names. lol and she brought out a lil cake for my birthday! Would def come back again and highly recommend for date or girls night out.
The restaurant was great. My waitress name Sarah was wonderful she was so good and answered all our questions. The igloo are so pretty and the atmosphere is great.
The view is nice. The food is beyond abysmal. Fries were served cold (why would they commit such an atrocity) and the drinks were pretty much a hotchpotch of liquors mixed together. Went on a monday so the service was quick as it wasnt too busy. Had to go here once since staying at the renaissance hotel. In short, the view is great, food/drinks beyond terrible, service decent. Pricing compared to other rooftops in nyc.
I went with a crew of ladies Saturday night 6:30 pm in February. It’s on the rooftop (38th floor) and offers exciting skyline views of the city. The ambience is upscale with a family of disco balls, colorful lights and decorations all around. The DJ was a total rockstar. It was good energy and fun social night!
KELLY is wonderful for booking reservations and ensuring that our guests were taken care of and everything was so meticulously planned and we appreciate how diligent she managed every aspect and accommodated our needs.
Came on a Thursday night. The door men didn’t acknowledge us and wanted my husband and I to pay 200 just to have a seat at the bar. Not sure how much it usually is here but that didn’t seem right.
Anastasia hooked us up with the best party ever! I love this place.
The views are IMMACULATE 🤩 saw the sunset while drinking my fav cocktail
Yes I did have fun. Was the fun worth being mistreated? Probably not.Mistreated at the coat check, at the elevator, in the bathroom. I have been to my share of clubs in NYC and none of them made me feel inadequate like this place did, twice. Second time was supposed to be a charm but just made me sure I’m not returning.
I was staying at the hotel and decided to check this place out, it was definitely worth it. Amazing staff, great views and decent drinks. I felt welcomed and Paul the head of security was very awesome and professional. And Wally the manager was very kind and hospitable as well. Bartenders are great at their job. And I’d definitely come back here.
Attended on a Friday night and was overwhelmed with drunk 20 year olds; one was seem vomiting outside the club yet noone told him or his friends to leave. Then get inside & coat check was mandated before we got upstairs to hear the 90s rap and R&B music; like Usher “Yeah”, are we at a bad sweet 16? Overpriced well drinks. Angle photos definitely make the place appear bigger than it actually is. A friend DJs here and it always looks great. Hoping for a better experience should I come back. Oh, great views!
Great overall experience. Had a great time. Great Atmosphere and music scene. Customer service is amazing, felt like a king with their bottle service. Love the rooftop! Highest in the city with amazing views all around. Definitely worthwhile in the nightlife scene if your looking to have an amazing time.
This is a true “club.” Too many people to even walk across the room. A promoter gets you a table, so you can serve yourself bottom shelf vodka.
Literally the worst experience ever. Charging $200 per guy when its a 2 to 4 ratio guys to girls. Have fun wasting your money 🤑
Great venue, wish dance floor was little bigger, but bartenders, and bouncers in my opinion were very nice, drinks little pricey but overall good time, 9/10. Meduza also was unreal
Me and my fiancée were about to celebrate our engagement just after I proposed to her and we came to your place at 9:00 pm on Saturday on 10/28/23, which we reserved, only to learn at the entrance that the whole place was booked till 10:00 pm. I guess you only care how rich your customers are, because you can cancel reservations even without giving a call to the “poor” customer of yours. I am really lucky not to have chosen your place for my proposal, otherwise I can’t imagine what could even happen. EVERYONE, DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS JUNGLE, apparently this place clearly views customers according to their income and even if you reserve a place, your reservation isn’t guaranteed. Stay away, at least we have dignity unlike you.
First time visiting since Jay Park was performing. Price for ticket plus 4 drinks was $250. The venue is stunning, and has an amazing view but staff is very rude. Bartender does not say hi, I asked what I could get to drink since we had 4 tickets for drinks. She said something basic. My friend asked if she could get a mojito, bartender said no. Later that night I lost my jacket, and I asked a couple of the security staff, they all ignored me. Also, the ticket said the event started at 10, so we arrived early. Jay Park performed at 1am for 30 min. Very bad experience, will not be visiting again.
Had a horrible customer service experience here. When entering you have to agree to spend at least $200 on drinks and leave your credit card and id with them so basically they are encouraging you to drink a lot and remember to get your items on the way back out . I don’t understand why they need to hold on to them. Their Google maps listing says they open at 4 so I went at 4 the next day to pick up my items. There was someone there but he wouldn’t help us and told us to come back at 5 so we waited around and went back. Not an ideal way to spend time on a vacation. When we got back it took them 30 minutes to bring it to me and everyone who worked there was incredibly rude and disrespectful to me about the situation after as a paying customer I had spent $300 on one drink at their establishment. Anyways .. really don’t recommend this place.
I had came here with my boys recently and had a great time. Security was very hospitable, I was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism. Paul the head of security made sure we were taken care of, my lady’s feet were hurting and he suggested her to take a seat at an open section which was very nice. Said we would have to move if the reservation came in. Phenomenal service from the whole staff
We didn’t really eat, but the champagne was great and matched the festive mood captured by the igloos and the Empire State Building. The staff was stellar. I sort of wish it was a little colder to get the full experience.
It was my first time at this venue and the experience was great. I was there with a group, everyone was very helpful and the bartenders were very attentive. The security team was amazing and courteous. Paul from security was very professional and his hospitality in taking care of our group was excellent. I will definitely be there again to have my next event.
This club is phenomenal, security and staff downstairs is a bit rough around the edges but once you get upstairs it’s an experience unlike any other. I gotta give a shout out to Fred & Paul..they both run the security team and they are legit professionals. Bartenders were friendly and the music sound system was fire. Outstanding nightclub #Big P the security guy!
A rooftop paradise with an unbeatable NYC view! The rooftop pool and cityscape scenery were absolutely mesmerizing. Having cocktails by the pool, I felt like I was on top of the world. The experience was pure magic, and the staff made it even better with their service. Five stars for this unforgettable escape above the city! Cant wait to return!
Nestled high above the vibrant city lights, this rooftop pool club in New York is a true hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I ascended to the rooftop, I was greeted by a breathtaking view that instantly set the tone for an unforgettable day. The pool clubs serene ambiance, adorned with cozy loungers and lush greenery, created the perfect oasis to relax and unwind. The attentive staff was incredibly warm and attentive, attending to my every need with a genuine smile. Whether I was lounging by the pool, enjoying delicious refreshments, or simply reveling in the awe-inspiring scenery, this rooftop paradise offered an unparalleled experience that will linger in my memories. If youre in search of a remarkable retreat away from the city buzz, I cant recommend this rooftop pool club enough—its a true 5-star destination that will leave you utterly enchanted! 🌌🏖️🌟
Wednesday swing nights are a highlight. Wonderful live music, gorgeous atmosphere. Excellent service, our waitress Bessie went above and beyond to make sure we were well accommodated. Mocktails, cocktails, lite bites, all excellent.
Was told there were no igloos and one sat empty for almost 4 hours while we looked at it from the inside enclosure. Service was lackluster. Asked for a second drink it never arrived. Asked for ketchup never arrived. Almost died of thirst waiting for a refill. Good was delicious atmosphere was fire!
Decent music but overpriced tables and entry ($250 a head) Very aggressive bouncers who are racist towards some people
The security in this place is great, friendly than most places in NYC, especially Joe, Stewart & Paul. The drinks are good, and the bartenders give great service as well. Wally gives me great vibes ❤️ (the manager) and I always look forward to coming back here every Sunday. The ambiance and decorations are top notch. Great hospitality
Paul was the best of the best!!! My drink spilled by a guy and he helped me recover it from the same guy he was very helpful and helped me stay safe through the whole time I was there which was 4 a.m btw! This place has good vibes and good music the tickets are worth it because it comes with 4 drinks included! I would definitely come here again !!
Went there for Jazz night on Wednesdays. Had an amazing time. They had a full swing band, people literally of all ages dancing away. Amazing views of the Empire State Building. I had there appetizers they were delicious. My date was impressed.
Well drinks are $25 each and one bartender named Mario was so rude and aggressive. Coat check is $6 per coat. The music was good, but other than that, I wouldn’t go again.
