Massage Envy

I’ve been coming here for months and finally met Claudia, she gave me the best massage I’ve had in years. She is intuitive and can give a true deep tissue massage. I hate to put her name in this review because I selfishly dont want her to get booked up but she deserves recognition and people should really experience what she has to offer.

I believe this is my first review for Massage Envy in North Hollywood. Ive been a Massage Envy member for a few years now pre & post pandemic at different locations. I will say that I was considering discontinuing my membership because I wanted to save money, but decided to continue my membership because the North Hollywood location is great. First of all, is black woman owned (owner is awesome). Secondly, they hire people from all walks of life (as it shoud be). I love Cassandra for my facials and just had a massage with Olena and she was fantastic! Keep up the good work! I will make sure to make it work financially to continue my self care routine.

Miguel never disappoints with his massages. It has been four years since my last massage with Miguel and his service is just as I remembered. I left feeling very relaxed and revived. The amount of pressure applied was perfect! I already booked to have another massage next week. This will be my weekly summer treat to myself as I enjoy my summer break off from teaching.

Jose had me ready to propose! Listened any time I asked for adjustment, but honestly by the second massage with him he remembered all of my preferences. Definitely my favorite therapist. Will be requesting him from now on!!!

I am always so thrilled to come in and have Becky work her magic. I’ve been seeing her for some time now and she always checks in with me before starting to make sure she customizes the massage to my needs.Love her. Thanks Becky!

Ive been going to Massage Envy for over 15 years and love the combination value and quality. Currently Ive been seeing Miguel in Noho, for maybe 2 years. Miguel does a great full body sports massage, and is always good ask before every session if there are problem areas that need work.

I have been a member with Massage Envy for many years. I love the convenience of being able to book last minute or well in advance. I typically do a dual service of a massage and facial. Cassandra is an esthetician and she does such a wonderful job that I can’t wait to book my next appointment.

I had a wonderful experience at Massage Envy in North Hollywood yesterday. Every team member was welcoming and professional. Maleyia (not sure of spelling!) was particularly warm and helpful and my therapist, Olena, was fabulous! I became a member and look forward to visiting monthly from now on! I highly recommend!

Stephanie is the best! She gets those tight knots of stress in my shoulders. She’s a great MT 💯👍🏾. But I missed my waterfalls and my chill music with that mist that blows Hotel room scents!

My massage therapist Taylor was great! She listened to my needs and made me feel relaxed and ver comfortable. I will definitely be returning to have Taylor work on me again. Thank you Taylor for being so awesome!!!

My massage with Jessica was wonderful! She got a lot of the muscles that were in spasm calmed down! I feel MUCH better. And try the CBD for your next Massage, wow it really helped!

My first time here at Massage Envy in NoHo and I was so impressed. Was greeted by a friendly front desk staff- she made the check in process easy and the medical intake portion was fast and smooth on the iPad. Waiting in the lounge with the neck wrap was really relaxing, and there’s a cute little fireplace in there making the ambience even more comforting. Lewis was my massage therapist and let me tell you- his hands are like magic. My deep tissue massage everything I needed to bring me back to life. I signed up for the membership- can’t wait to go back once a month and make it a part of my routine!

Miguel did a great job of giving me tension relief to the point where, despite my best efforts, I fell asleep several times during the session. He was polite and attentive. The venue also looked clean and front desk service was amicable. I’ll be going back.

Wow! Janet is a human machine. I used her for the first time yesterday and I will definitely go back. She gives great firm massages, and from her size you would never think that! Excellent massage!!! Thank you Janet.

Jennifer goes out of her way to make sure Im comfortable as she worked on my sciatica. I felt relief and relaxation for the first time in several days.Her personality and empathy is fantastic.

Love this location! I like that it is smaller than other ME locations and has a very chill vibe.My massage therapist, Becky, is wonderful. She really takes the time to understand your needs the day of and does an amazing job every time.

Olena is amazing! I’ve been hooked on 2 hr sessions with her. She is very through and pays attention to what the body needs. I recommend her 1000%. The customer service women are amazing two African American women are always there helping and has very good energy! Love the noho location!

This was my first time to a massage Envy and it definitely will not be my last. My massage therapist was Jose! Not only was he very professional, but did an amazing massage! The young lady at the front who checked me in has the best personality and is super welcoming! The world needs more of her! Can’t wait for my next massage.

I love Massage Envy and having a great therapist makes it all worth while! When my last one moved out of state I thought Id never find anyone as good. I was right. I found someone even better! 30 mins of pain relief through Theragun targeting and simple massage were amazing. Highly recommend for those in need of a quick fix when something aches.

Had an awesomeMassage yesterday from JANET at North Hollywood. So needed and received! She takes such good care of me! Great pressure, all around perfect massage.

Karine was great. She asked what kind of pressure I wanted and I said “firm”. She really got into some tight spots and even though I squirmed and squealed a little, it was just what I asked for. I felt much relief when we were done.

Everything is always nice. I’m clean and I don’t have surprises Alana. My Massues was absolutely amazing.

Went for a chemical peel. My esthetician was pretty nice and did a good job applying the product and making sure I was comfortable. Unfortunately ME only offers light treatments and I wanted something more intense. This location charges more for this light service than others and does not provide free sample product for upkeep as mentioned on the ME website. My esthetician also said an eye cream treatment came with the first peel, but the front desk charged me for it. As I was leaving, the receptionist and the manager both tried to pressure me to buy a monthly package. I had to tell them no three times, raising my voice with the final response. When I came home, I found the same product they used can be bought as an at-home treatment for half the price.

Claims they cannot get any of my membership information to verify my signed agreement. Claims it’s in writing that I understood how transfers of accounts and that they have the authorization to close my account (losing all my unused credits of 5-6 sessions) since I did not respond back to an email in a timely manner. Owner Shamika cannot provide any proof and flat out tried to hang up on me saying we are going in circles when I was asking for a corporate number to contact to see who has the documents I am requesting. Will be contacting the better business bureau and hopefully a cooperate massage envy line to find out what I actually signed.

First time going to massage envy and it was great. From the African American girl in the front (I forgot her name) and Janet did my massage and she did an amazing job. Super clean as well. Will definitely want to come back again but it is a little pricey.

I have been a customer of this ME for nearly a year and can only say good things. Anet really does customize my facial and is so considerate to my acne-prone skin. Even beyond the room, she has given me tips and tricks to continue my skincare journey at home. Karla is one of the best masseuses I’ve ever encountered. She takes my focus areas into account but will adjust if we notice extra tense areas during the massage. Cannot say enough good things about these two women!

Beautiful location. Upon arriving I got curbside parking right in front. Check-in was easy breezy and pleasant. The waiting area is exceptional and the fireplace kept me cozy; until my therapist summoned me for. I had the most amazing massage. I was Pilates-sore prior —— ugh. My masseuse Karla worked out all the tension. Forever grateful —- see you next week.

I saw Janet after booking a last minute appointment, and all I have to say is “WOW”!I am really feeling it today (just like she said I would) but it was an amazing experience. I can’t wait to see her again!!

Janet was a godsend! My back and neck were in knots and I was in a lot of pain. She helped loosen and mend most of my tension and I’m almost 100%. These knots are gonna take a few more sessions with Janet.

I got a membership years ago, which is hard to get out of because it’s generally hard to get appts. And the massages are so inconsistent. At other pleases like The Now or Hand and Stone you know exactly what you are gonna get.But they had a great facialist at North Hollywood so i kept coming back. She left and i gave the Sherman Oaks location a try. The front receptionist was annoyed that my account is messed up. (ME fault that has never been able to be fixed). Elise was actually pretty great in terms of the facial but very condescending. When I left, the people pleaser in me bought a few products to “get on their good side.” Maybe 5 minutes time. They both made tons of eye contact with me and were suddenly in a good mood, but it felt off. I go grab a coffee and get in my car and….i’m telling the internet….there is very obvious dried snot across my cheek…like tell me in the appointment because there is a steamer in my face. I guess I can laugh now, but that was so humiliating to be walking around like that. I’d love to think it was an accident, but it was obvious.I didn’t go back for a while because I was so upset about the experience. I went back to North Hollywood a few months later. I now had a lot of credits so I got a massage and facial. Call it bad luck. The massage was awful. I booked a firm level and listed (and told in person) my no zones. The girl complained the whole time that she wanted a different career, and it was like a 4 year old was giving me a massage. weird and awkward.I felt like…am I the bad guy that I had two terrible experiences in a row. The facial was amazing though. Booked with a guy that left.I emailed and reached out to management several times about the incidents. No response.I have so many credits that if i cancel I am wasting hundreds$. So I booked today with someone new at North Hollywood for a facial. Elise. (It’s been a few months so I missed it was the same person). I saw her walking down the hall and started panicking. I ran to the front desk to cancel. And explain that management was supposed to take her off my booking availability. She had moved to North Hollywoods location . Front desk said their were no notes in my account and a manager would call me later today. At this point I know that won’t happen. And with the new facialist I liked gone, and every massage being a risk of good or not, I guess I should cut my losses. And next time I will believe the bad reviews online.

Ive been a regular member here for a few years. Its clean, easy to make an appointment and importantly, affordable. Ive had massages from several therapist but Janet is my absolute favorite! Shes magic for my tight shoulders and neck!

Front desk was friendly everything else was a disaster. This was the worst and laziest massage Ive received. It has caused be the worst pain ever.

I rotate between my favorite practitioners Janet for massage and Luanne and Anet for facials. The site and app make appointments easy to book and manage. I find massage therapy here to be very beneficial. There are some extremely talented therapists and Ive had some real relief from regular massages. Everything is always clean, the staff at the front desk is always very nice and helpful and everyone is always professional. I recommend the membership if you want to make massage a regular part of your self care practices.

The front desk was friendly. The massage was good but cut short. Here is my big concern. My massage Therapist took off her mask once I was laying down face down. I wasnt aware of it at first but I started feeling wet sprinkles on my back while she was talking. My suspicion was confirmed once I turned around and was facing her. It literally shocked me! I think she might have realized that from my eyes and she then cut the massage short. I just feel its too dangerous to go there if they cant comply by their own safety measures. Im now scared that I might have been exposed to covid and will have to take a test in a few days.

Jason did an amazing job! I’ve had terrible neck pain for about a month, and after my session it was significantly reduced.Definitely going back soon and hoping to get on a regular schedule with Jason!

I called to book a post surgery lymphatic massage. I have had them many times before and was excited to find out that massage envy offers them..... or said they did. PS THEY DO NOT OFFER IT. When I arrived this therapist asked me what part of the body I wanted to work on and what pressure I liked. I told her I was there strictly for a lymphatic massage post surgery and she replied that’s great I’m still going to give you a little bit of a back massage for the hour. Most places I’ve gone to for lymphatic massage spend the entire hour doing the lymphatic massage so I figured this must be the way she does things. During the massage I noted she didn’t do any lymphatic drainage, she pushed on the lymph nodes which was painful considering I’m post surgery. The massage would’ve been nice had I not been bruised and still had stitches in from the surgery , but I’m not supposed to be getting a muscle massage right now. I’m a little confused why they think this is considered lymphatic massage, you don’t even stimulate the muscles with lymphatic massage its strictly skin. I’m disappointed that this company decided to claim they offer a service that they don’t and quite possibly could’ve put my healing in jeopardy. I did speak up and tell her it was too hard but it was obvious in the session she was not trained in lymphatic drainage. I will not be returning to massage envy In this circumstance I believe they just wanted to get their therapist booked and didn’t really pay attention to what I asked for or needed medically.

This Massage Envy is by far the best Ive been to: friendly staff, great therapists, plentiful free parking and excellent location. The clinic itself is wonderful, brand new and extra clean. They offer nice touches like spa water and coffee/tea for guests. Highly recommended!

The massage itself was great, but it was only 52 minutes long of the 60 I paid for and I didnt to be that person who insists he keep going when hes obviously done. The receptionist hung up on me when I called to make an appt, and when I called back the line was busy. Really not to Massage Envys usual standard.

Usually a good experience. I have a monthly membership and receive one free massage a month. I hate not tipping, so I always leave a tip, but Im usually disappointed in the fact that in 100% of all my visits they never give a full hour. So not only do I pay for a full hour, and tip- its not fully whats advertised. They usually cut it short by an average of 7 minutes after usually starting 5 minutes late. Ive kept track of this thinking it was just happening on a case by case deal, but this is entirely normal at NoHo location. Probably going to cancel my membership as Im not getting what Im paying for, but otherwise its a decent massage.

2019.05-18/0815: Its 8:15 a.m. and the doors are locked and the facility is closed. Even Club Pilates is up and running. We called and received the voicemail, too. What a waste of time driving out here.Please change your hours online and on the voicemail to reflect your real business hours or hire better employees that can show up on time. Was looking for a professional place to go to instead of trying one of the million fly by night massage places around here.

Janet is a professional technician that knows how to iron out chronic pain related to the sciatic nerve and IT band like I’ve never seen. She’s a body mechanic!

New location, and loved it. Got acne facial from Anet, and she worked her magic. The facial was about three weeks ago, and my face is still glowing. Shes awesome!
