North Hollywood Spa

My recent visit to North Hollywood Spa left me feeling disappointed and disgruntled. The overall experience fell short of expectations on multiple levels.Unprofessional and Rude Staff.Right from the start, the staffs demeanor was off-putting. The receptionist displayed a rude and dismissive attitude, which immediately created an unwelcome atmosphere. This unprofessional behavior continued throughout my visit, leaving a sour taste in my mouth.Unclean and Uninviting FacilitiesThe cleanliness of the facilities left much to be desired. The locker rooms and common areas felt unkempt and in need of a thorough cleaning. This lack of attention to hygiene detracted from the spa experience significantly.Unfortunately, the combination of rude staff and a subpar environment turned what was supposed to be a relaxing spa day into a frustrating and unpleasant experience. I would strongly advise against visiting North Hollywood Spa and recommend seeking out alternative spas that prioritize customer service and cleanliness.

As long as people want have a place to hangout and chill. As we walk in the front desk person kind rude speaking. And later while people leaving the room. They clean it with floor cleaner was soooo strong the smells. It made me have headache so bad.

The worst spa in LA you can go. It is written on their official website its 25 $ but you pay 35 $ actually. The staff is rude to the extent that the guy threw the towel to me with very impolite way. Men inside are mostly daddies and Mexicans with large bellies and not alot of people go there you can rarely find your type. It was my first time and Im sure its the last one.

Lack of empathy and poor judgment.Had an emergency not even 10 mins after checking in. Checked in open my laptop to realize. I had to be at a meeting in 15 minutes. Asked the desk if they could make a one time exception for a refund and firmly said No,while another one of the guys started laughing. Do not recommend unless your okay with throwing money away. Oh yeah n the room I paid 50 dollars for had half of the blinds missing. Dirty sheets and a pillow that seemed a pillow cover stuffed inside another.

Very clean facilities, I find some comments here about being rip off price wise hard to believe because the prices are right there where you check in. The middle age man that checked me in seem professional and polite, I took a Delux room $60 which included $10 one off membership, I would honestly say the prices are a touch too high. The Spa was fairly quiet it was a Sunday but the Oscars were on that might have been the reason why. The regular rooms are too small specially if your tall or big, your better paying the extra $10 for the Delux room. The other sauna gets a big crowd at times but can be difficult getting a room. So if you want a very clean facility with a more mature age group this might be the place for you, I will check it out again.

35 dls entry they didnt have enough towels, I am very disappointed not very friendly staff, the only nice guy was a Latino guy ❤️

I took a $25 uber ride to get to this place because i genuinely enjoyed it, however, halfway to the spa i realized i forgot my wallet. I was nervous, because i wasnt sure if they let me in, however, I had a photocopy of my ID and stayed hopeful. When i got to the place after being cut in front of by another patron, I simply told the guy that i forgot my wallet but i have a photocopy of my ID and before he would let me finish he interrupted me saying, “You cannot come in, Next!” Afterwards, he began to make fun of me and started talking in Spanish to the next patron, pointing fun at the fact I was upset about the way he handled it, and even after continued to make fun of me and laugh as i left the establishment. If i could rate this place a 0/5 stars I would, I used to come here a good bit and would occasionally run into a disgruntled employee, but this guy took joy in telling me no and had no remorse whatsoever while hr continued his bullying laugh with the patron after me. I would never come back to this place and would advocate for anyone else to not come here as well, i mean its already overpriced for what it is and where its located but to top it off with employees that treat customers like this? Unacceptable. I can accept that they didnt allow me in, but the way he interrupted me, treated me, and then continued laughing and belittling me was highly uncalled for and grossly unnecessary. Ill never come back to this piss poor overpriced establishment again.

Would give it 5 stars but only 4 due to the clerk when I checked out (short dark Latino guy). Upon checking out I handed him my room keys under the glass to be super polite and he dropped them and snapped Dont do that!!! with a filthy look. Very embarrassing and rude. Dont do that yo your customers - Especially super polite ones like me from out of town and paying $50 for a room and even bringing all my linens back.Other than that, the place is very nice, with classic movie / road trip themes. Play areas (fun zone), steam, sauna, snack bar, and decent rooms and sundeck. Mixed group of races and ages.

Since Midtowne Spa closed, this is a great, smaller, alternative. Plenty of private rooms for a price, but uninhibited fun can be found anywhere from their 2 TV lounges, roomy steam room, small dry sauna, large outdoor sundeck, and their Funzone (6 small adjoining booths with GHs).The good: Unlike Midtowne, the place is heated. Nice Cafe area. Great lively decor everywhere with movie/music posters.The bad: street parking only (problem when busy), and unlike the bigger, grittier Midtowne, there is no pool, jacuzzi, or dungeon.

I am standing in front of the door in awe about how poorly I was treated by the on duty cashier. The way I was just treated was appalling. The cashier told me when I went to pay that they were closing at 6 AM. I was fine with that. However, he did not tell me that my membership had expired, therefore being $35 instead of $25 until after he had run my card. I asked him, and he just shrugged his shoulders. I went upstairs, and just got angrier and angrier as I thought about it. While I did not mind that there were not a lot of people, the unfriendliness and lack of courtesy from the cashier really upset me. I came down and asked him why he did not tell me that my membership had expired and it was going to be $35 instead of $25 for a locker, and his response was, it’s not his responsibility to tell me. I’m at the signs are posted. I asked him why he didn’t say anything, and he was so nasty and had the worst disposition. And I left immediately, after less than 10 minutes there, because I was so furious at this man’s behavior. And he was putting it on me like it was my fault. I asked for the managers name, in which he gave me “Ernesto.“ I am going to take this to the Better Business Bureau and the LGBT center, because this is no way to treat a customer.

Off street parking. Good luck in finding a space. Was surprised by the extra $10 on top or the lockers or room rates. Hard to get wait on at the snacks bar . Waited no one in 15 mins.

Never been back after 7 yrs till today...Christian on reception was funny n helpfull...charged me $50 for a deluxe room but gave me regular room...no biggie...I had the best fun n stayed another 8 more hours and with added more fun...Now THE THREE STAR RATING is .. for ISAIAE and ISAEIA ONLY he is he worst reception of any Gay Spa Ive been... hes the ugliest n the ruddest ..yelling at me for not knowing where to sign exit pass...if I go there again and be treated same way he did last...I will right again a negative review on anybody treating me unkindly ...until the Spaa rating goes down because of that lunatic until he gets fired soone...

Clean and so much fun. The guy that cleans rooms at night is do nice. Offers to get me a fresh towel or 5akeky trash out . Head real sweet guy. Please recognize him with a raise.. Todd

Good place to relax and have fun… Perfect saunas. No pool ( I didnt see )… went once and saw only old guys (50 years old with father) 😂😂😂

Always a great place for fun fun and relaxation although the whirlpool and the pool that roman holiday is what is missing here, the choices of men make up for it. Recommend you get a room, as its the best way to ensure a great time is had. With a Steam room, sauna, gym, two thearters, private G.H. rooms and outdoor deck there is sure to be something for everyone.

The staff was so rude, far from LA centre and expense

This place is a joke. They charged me $35 for the entrance fee and then told me my card was declined. I watched the card reader say approved. He insisted it was declined. I opened up my banking app and should that the money came out of my account. He refused to let me in or return my money. I walked out after he yelled at me that its not his problem Thai my payment was declined well I checked my bank today and it was definitely taken out and no service was provided. I will be reporting them to the fraud department today hopefully I get my money back.

Best club/fun to be....the ONLY place you can still sleep and not SUPER noisy as most bath.h we all known to be....LOVE the amazing vintage memorabilia stuff all over place...wish all clubs will be amazing as this one...and most importantly...not crazy noisy...Thx guys

First time…great diverse men,super clean, great rooms, and well maintained super videos and sauna and steam were excellent will return for sure….Midtown….you have competition!!

Make sure you guys check your credit card statements..... because for some odd reason they have a tendency to double charge 🤔🤔🤔 And yes I have talked to the owner of the place he has a tendency to talk over you like youre the fool of the whole situation... I assume, everyone should keep the credit card statements and try to amuse yourself while talking to the owner and bring the statements to him so he can see it...🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🤔

Rude staff never come back

It was okay. Midtowne in downtown is bigger and a few more amenities. Not bad for what its worth.

Not many guys at this place 😪🤤 I was expecting to hook up with at least five guys that night... Instead it was only one 😔 it was super HOT, but it was the only one experience I had that night 😢

Clean, quaint - a faint echo of the old Hollywood Spa - this bathhouse offers a huge steam room, modest gym and rather cozy rooms and booths for canoodling on the top floor.

At this place, I dont have to wait 5 hrs just to get a room. Plus the guys here are just as hot as they are over there. More laid back.

This place us TOO big And has ALL THE THINGS but with no... what is it... no magic. I feel SO bad! The place was empty and I couldnt help but wonder, what I do? WhatdidI WhatdidI WhatdidIMaybe Im wrong. Should fly up there. Nowish
