Tramps

First let me say, this gay bar has endured since the days before gay bars were legal in OK. Ive visited it on and off since the 70s. Weekends its very busy. On afternoons, such as the one during my recent visit, its always mellow. Its a dark bar. Black paint everywhere. Big bar to sit around or scattered small tables around the room if you prefer. There is a pool table, an outdoor area, a dance floor and a little stage. Pretty darned good sound systems that blasts music on the weekends. I just wish they would do something more interesting with the interior. That said, its been about the same since the 70s...why fix what aint broke?

I was here in 1981 and it was fine. I hope they remember me when I go back in April 2024.Update!!! I did go back. Of course I was joking about being remembered.We entered and sat at the bar. We were ignored. The bartender never made eye contact, even though he was 3 feet away. ....never said a word. After a while, we walked out.

Absolutely do not spend your money here. it’s not a safe environment AT ALL. i went in to have a couple drinks with a friend yesterday afternoon and ended up getting drugged to the point that i cannot remember about 8 hours of yesterday. i had no intention on getting drunk to the point i could not drive my car and its a miracle im still alive. i have never experienced anything like it and it was really scary. i have been trying to call the establishment to see if they have cameras so i could take legal action, but nobody will answer the phone. i will absolutely never be back and will NEVER recommend this bar to anybodyyyyy. stay safe and stay away from tramps!!!

GIVING A HIGH RATING SO THIS CAN BE SEEN . Please read . My friend went to tramps Wednesday around 2:30/3 she got to my house around 5. She had two vodka redbulls and two shots of Tito’s. She could not stand or walk. She was foaming out of the mouth. I have Been trying to call all day and no answer ! PEOPLE GET ROOFIED AT THIS PLACE. We think it was the bartender or an older man sitting 3 seats down from her. PLEASE BE AWARE HERE . They seem to not care when their customers get roofied.

Great bar with friendly staff who actually remember you. By far the best bar in the fruit loop. Diverse, for sure. Strong drinks, and a new bar underway.

The gay club in Oklahoma City are very segregated. You will not see people of color doing drag shows at tramps the boom Phoenix. I don’t know it’s because there is an issue dealing with them. I don’t know what the story is but it really turns me off when I come out here to 39 because we’re so segregated.

Goos: the place is big. You have a really big patio outside, you have some pool table, chairs, etc.Bad: the bar tenders are lazy, if you are not known they wont pay attention to you. The drinks sucks, basic drinks that anybody can make. The TV had football rather than fun videos or music videos, or eve drag videos, its a gay bar!!!!

Smallest pours :( for the price I expected stronger drinks. I felt like I was visiting Salt Lake City. Abd wine pours are so tiny as well. Don’t think I’ll come back

LOVE this bar sm! We have monthly Pup Meets around this area and we love to visit Tramps! Theyre so welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is great. Drinks are STRONG and well worth your money, probably the only bar where I feel like I get my moneys worth on drinks, no high prices, no overpours or under pours, the bartenders are superb. We went on Super Bowl Sunday and they even provided free pizza and cookies to the guests, how nice is that?! Ill definitely be a regular at this bar.

Have to edit my review sadly. We used to go here every time we were in town. Spent a lot of $ here. Last time we went was the first time we went during the day shift and the bartender said that the owner doesnt allow service animals. This is NOT legal. Not allowing a service animal is like not allowing an oxygen tank and is breaking ADA laws. I tried reaching out to the owner to see if this is true and they wouldnt tell me his info. It sucks that a place where everyone is made to feel included chose to make me feel like I wasnt included just because Im disabled. If they happen to see this review and reach out to me I will not report them. I hate not giving otherwise great businesses a chance to make it right

Love this bar sm. Evan is a great bartender, always remembers my face and hes very sweet. This is the place if you want strong drinks and a welcoming atmosphere

Beautiful show! but the crowd wow, people dancing drunk and sloppy during the show extremelydisrespectful. So much they bumped into tables and broke glass. Really need to Crack down on that. Over serving patrons. Just ruined the vibe.

This is the Best place to go!! Everyone including the staff is great. Of course, the staff and owners are always Awesome on their customer service and skills. Most people (customers) are always unique and have a great experience at this club.I do Highly recommend this club with the Big Girl drinks for a great experience in the 39th and Penn neighborhood full of bars and clubs.

Great bar to relax, meet people, shoot pool, or throw darts. The bartenders are very friendly. They have an amazing patio. A definite go to bar.

Was there on Saturday was stopped and asked for ID cool I get that then I was told I could not bring my backpack in with me I had to leave it I asked why I see guys in here with bags fanny packs and other things the older guy started to get a attitude with me saying thats how it is I dont have to even let you in. So guess what they lost my cash 💸 💰 🤑 I was visiting from out of town first time to okc I was here for what was supposed to be a pup night at another pathetic club called the Living room 🙄 😒 at the what is now called District hotel more like Decentary meth hotel see my reviews on there page. 🤢🤢🤢 on a side note I was here 2 days prior and the bartender was super nice so 5 🌟 to him to bad he has to work in a this place what a waste of talent.

I was roofied on a Monday night by an older man, I called the bar the next day to tell them and they were rude. Be careful around the other patrons and don’t expect good customer service over the phone.

A nice low key bar atmosphere. I travel for work and stopped in for a drink in the afternoon (10/12/15) so there was very little going on. Im never travelling on the weekend so I generally look for a place to meet people and talk. This fit the bill. I assume it gets more crowded after dark. I will have to go back next time I am in town (02/22/16) and update my review then.

I love this place. The people here were very kind. The service was spectacular. Drink was strong!

Was excited to be there at Pride and once I entered the establishment I was confronted by a mean older white man. I had a wristband upon showing my ID at the entire Pride and was advised I could enter all bar with the wristband. He was rude and did not handle appropriately.

Had a good time at the drag show, but halfway through another person tried to sneak by to tip and knocked over my drink. The bartenders saw this happen and saw my jeans soaked with captain coke. When I went up for a replacement was told that they don’t do that and I’d have to buy another one. Sorrys are cheap and I find it petty a business would do this. Will tell my friends to avoid this bar.

Its a bit of a dive but Tramps is my favorite bar in the neighborhood. Strong drinks made cheap by unpretentious bartenders. This is where you go to get your drunk on without dropping a lot of dough. Its the ideal place to pre-game before the Copa or The Boom. Thats exactly what people do too. People get drunk here early (and cheap) and than head off to their favorite place in the neighborhood. Its a bit on the trashy side but thats part of its charm.

Tramps is a gay bar known for its strongly mixed cocktails. It has a spacious patio/garden area and a very comfortable,inviting atmosphere.

Cash only, but they have an ATM. Great bar, love the patio and the bartenders are all heavy handed with the pours. Fun time for groups to come and hang out.

Great little neighborhood bar and the drinks are awesome! Female bartender (didn’t get her name) on Saturday afternoon is super friendly and full of smiles!!

$5.25 for a bottle of domestic?! Way too high priced. No thanks!

Great place. Drinks are moderately priced. It is a smoking bar and kinda shanty but overall an awesome hole in the wall bar.

One of the best bars in town hands down. No matter what you order, it’ll taste great and you’ll get drunk. Trust me

Been coming here since 1990s, hell helped Gil Ray move the bar here from where the Park was. Luv this bar. This the place if Troy is working !!
