(DTW) Drews Tobacco World

This is a long time hidden gem and just gets cooler each time I come back, they have a vast variety of smoking tools but also 4/20 products such as THC-a and it’s all so good. Their bong wall is super large and so well priced and there’s just so much cool glass pieces.

Been a cigar enthusiast for many years. Also been hearing the radio commercials for quite a while and finally made it over there. I must say its a one and done visit. Like a hawk they will watch your every move through a window in the humidor room. I had eyes on me the whole time i was in there as if i was a repeat thief, i get it they dont know who the thieves are, but they will make an honest person feel extremely uncomfortable. I know where I can feel respected and appreciated.

The new owners are great. They keep large assortment of cigars to choose from and are open to adding suggestions. This is always my first choice to visit when buying cigars.

SERIOUSLY overpriced. 1 lb bag of rolling tobacco was $8 more expensive than The M Store (a convenience store in the area), cigarette rolling machine was $2 more expensive than found in the area. They do have a very large selection of merchandise but should absolutely price-shop local stores to keep their prices more in line with other options nearby.*Edit*Annette,$8 per 1lb more than one local convenience store and $7 per 1lb at another local convenience store for rolling tobacco and $2 more for a rolling machine/tube stuffer is NOT competitively pricing your goods. I omitted the pricing disparity as related to mail order options for the same products.Further, all of my reviews, whether 5 star or 1 star include negative and positive remarks as I endeavor to be objective in my reviews. Im sure you noticed that I reviewed the local convenience store I specifically named in my initial review of your store and gave them 3 stars at first and commented on their pricing for services.

I bought a vape and it started messing up 30 min after I bought it. And apparently they can do anything about it. This place use to be the only place I would buy my vapes at and here recently the vapes I’ve been getting have been going out quickly and messing up. I gotta find a new place to buy my vapes at.

Employees are knowledgeable and genuinely care about you as a customer. The products are not cheap or shotty and the employees dont try to push the highest priced or the lowest priced products on you, I dont know about you but that goes a LOOOONG way in my book!!

Great people. Glad I found this place. Another positive, they are next to a meat market.Time to make a change. For some reason they stopped buying Gambler Gold, had to buy a different brand, twice. Hated the other brands. Not for taste but hard to pack the tubes. Which they will go back to Gambler.Might have to find a new place. Ill give them one more try.Need to change my review....Normally my neighbor and I go to the Dollar Store, because they are closer, and buy Gambler Tobacco.While at the meat market we decided to go to Drews. There we found American Club. We both agreed it is the better brand because of their cut. From now on we will always go to Drews to buy American Club and Tubes.

Great selection of vape supplies, cigars, tobacco accessories, lighters, smokes, and even those bubble things that no one is supposed to talk about... Yeah they got um! (And they are nice ones too). The staff is cool, and the prices are pretty reasonable for Oklahoma. Easy to find, I cant find anything negative about this place. Great shop!

Best variety and they have really cool glass, grinders, small pipes and every smoke accessory you could think of! They’re also a great price for the quality there! The workers there are super helpful and friendly! I stop by every time I’m in OKC!

I thought they couldnt make their radio ads any more terrible, then they went and added a blood curdling scream to it because thats not dangerous to drivers at all. Re: You dont need to add a scream to make people hear your ad, it just makes them turn the radio off faster than they did before.

Since I live in Shawnee I dont get a chance to come here very often, but when I do, its always an enjoyable experience.They have a massive selection and have excellent economic to premium choices for pretty much any tobacco / cannabis accessory you might be looking for.The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and knowledgable.

The 4 stars is only on product stock. The selection is overwhelming but the customer service is bad. The last 2 times I’ve went to the store, I was met with looks of as if I was bothering them. Neither person presented themselves as knowledgeable about the products they are selling. I had to drag a description of a product out of the guy. He was not helpful in explaining anything. Neither was the girl before that. Haven’t met a friendly employee yet. So I’m just not going there any longer. They lost a customer because their staff are not approachable and act if they no nothing of these products.

Didnt leave a voicemail for a drawing, was told better luck next time.Edit: I cleared my voicemails because the lady told me they’d leave a voicemail, but if it wasn’t set up they’d just go to the next one. So yeah; I was lied to about the rules of the contest; either here or by the employee.Also the caller ID showed some weird parent company; not Drew’s.So, better luck next time I guess.

They have a lot of stuff in there.... readjust those glass products....and theyll be the wearhouse... lol

Overview: A good selection of glass at a fair price.Pros: Pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Lots of brand name glass. easy going environment.Cons: They allow smoking (tobacco) in there store which can add a film on your glass so you may have to clean before use. They have a constant sale of 20% off glass which is a shady practice if you ask me, would be better if they just priced everything up front .

These people are crooks. Their inventory is missed priced and they dont care. One pipe I saw had three different prices and they were side by side. I paid $40 for what was supposed to be a real Proto Pipe brand pipe. It wasnt real I discovered when i got home. They told me too bad. No exchanges. No refunds. The guy knew when I paid him that it wasnt real but they dont give a damn. Dont go to this store.

I liked it - friendly, helpful staff. I cant judge affordability or selection as Im new to the pipe game. Seemed to be reasonable though.Im not a big fan of the dispensary next door, but it is what it is.

I went up to Drews today, for the first time in maybe ten years? I always liked Drews, it was just always a bit out of the way for most of my needs, but I wanted to get back into packing my own cigarettes and thought they would have the supplies that I needed. As it turns out, they did! I am fairly knowledgeable about this, having done it in the past, and the guy behind the counter accepted that I knew what I was doing and helped me find what I needed. He recommended a decent, inexpensive brand of tobacco for me, and the machine he pointed out was what I wanted. Ive always had really good service from Drews, and this was no exception. My only quibble is that I wish theyd had a bigger selection of cigarette cases, but the one I got is perfectly suited to my needs so its really a tiny quibble.

Been using Drew’s for the past 10 years until I moved to western Texas, last month my wife was visiting and stopped by to get me pipe tobacco, they treated her real good. Is there anyway you can ship me more when I run out?

I love everything about this place. Susan left a bad review about someone being rude. You must have been at your friend drews house and got your neighbors attitude mixed up with the stores. Nothing but niceness comes from Drews.

I wanted tobacco and a roller and tubes, and found them pretty easily. When I asked for menthol tubes while I was being rung up instead of the full flavored ones, I was told I couldnt exchange them as he had already rung them up. I know that he could have let a manager know at a later time that he exchanged them, but I accepted it and left. I will remember next time to be more specific.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!READ BELOWI chose this shop due to the ratings on here and I can’t tell you how wrong the ratings are on here. The first time I went in not only are they NOT HELPFUL they were blatantly RUDE and not helpful at all. If I asked where something was I was just told OVER THERE and back to their phone they went.I went in there one more time and it was marginally nicer so I tried one more time and decided to pay by card and they have a strange card reader and was asked DONT YOU KNOW HOW TO USE ONE?I decided not to go back EVER. I buy my tobacco online at smokersoutlet.com now.We ran out of tobacco tubes earlier than I anticipated so my husband went there today and not only did they yell at him for not having a mask, he happens to have COPD which by ordinance doesn’t have to wear one, they were rude on supplying him with the tubes.NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

The shop people are very rude & seemingly judge guests before they even say a word. The girl who helped us acted like every question we asked was a hassle & didnt even bother to listen to what we were saying whenever we were asking about specific products. She really made it seem like she was doing us a favor to simply do her job.

First visit there, young lady helping us was awesome, very good customer service. The item we bought came in different sizes, and we werent sure which we needed, so the woman told us to just bring it back unused, and we could exchange it, no problem. Seeing as we live across town, we hoped it fit. Unfortunately, it didnt. Upon returning just now, we were treated horribly, a different young woman was behind the counter and was incredibly hateful, rude and condescending. The man was no help, either. They refused to acknowledge the other young ladys commitment to us, the young woman turned her back on us and sat down, and started texting. We left with the refund not issued nor any exchange offered, no apologies for the rude behavior, no apology for poor employee training, nothing. I will not be returning to this store. With such poor customer service, its no wonder their parking lot is always empty. If you dont enjoy your job, please, dont work in customer service!!!!

Went there the a few days ago. The man waiting on me was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I went next door to the dispensary and mentioned this to them and they said that several people had come to their store and expressed the same concerns. Will not be going back there. I live close by and its convenient but Id rather drive a little further to get good service.

I paid twice the price for a dry herb vaper, which really was not a vaper it burned instead of vaping my flower, than I would have paid at another head shop. Also, I was not told there were no refunds, even if it didn’t work to start with, until after I paid and then asked. They said it was “posted in three places” that there were no refunds. First of all they must have been really small notices because I did not see them ever. Second, if it doesn’t work to begin with they should at the least offer an exchange! I will never shop here again! There are too many other places I can shop that are honest and not overpriced!

Awesome staff that knows about the stores products, very clean and welcoming atmosphere. They carry tons of extravagant glass pieces as well as smaller silicone pipes, wooden dugouts, tapestry and hand rolled incense at some of the lowest prices in the state.

Dudes were super helpful with all my questions. I didnt see any Arturo Fuentes in the humidor but I couldnt of have just overlooked them. They have a huge selection of glass and tobacco pipes along with hookahs and shisha.

Great selections and most prices were about average but some a little high. If you dont want to order online, then its a great place to go. Tobacco, scented tobaccos, cigarette rolling machines and manual ones, tubes, pipes, etc.

Best prices and selection on high end tobacco products and paraphenalia in the metro. When they still had the north side store and I was a wine rep I used to coordinate wine tastings to go with the cigar promos that the cigar reps were doing, so Im familiar with the margins Drew is working with and they are extremely fair.

I have a Vector lighter that wouldnt work right, I didnt buy it from them but I ran into Cas who works there one day, n she offered to have it looked at for free, they fixed it n refilled it free of charge...she was alps very helpful with recommendations n very knowledgeable, I love a straight shooter, no blowhard, salesman chrisma....a real rarity...I give Crews 5 stars...and thanks Cas!!

Not only were they charging DOUBLE what we pay for the same brand of cigarette tubes that we have bought in 14 states as we travel for work, but the woman at the counter got nasty when my husband didnt want to buy the smashed box she tried to sell him. Overpriced and nasty, not a winning combination. They also only have two types of tobacco, Gambler and Largo. Neither is smoke-worthy. Find another shop if you roll your own.

This place deserves a 10+* star I e. Been going here for 15 years. Great selection on Tabacco,pipes,lighters, incense and more. Stafff is well knowledge on aromas and blends you may be looking for. Mix and make your own spiecial blend.

Good cigar selection, good prices, however, I bought a torch lighter from them, I noticed it was broke when I got home, it leaks fluid, took it back 2 times the third time was told will refill it, but will not exchange it for a fully functioning lighter. I thought this was going to be my go to cigar shop. I wont be back

Friendly. Theres no vape juice there. They just have disposable vapes and all kinds of tobacco, pipes and things that look like bongs but they say is for tobacco use only lol.

The only thing that I disliked was that the female staff had lied to the male staff saying that I made a purchase. I did not buy anything on this visit.

Great place to pick up a new pipe and pipe tobacco, try a few of their thousands of cigars, or check out all the glass handpipes and waterpipes.Have your ID ready and watch what you say, nothing illegal is acceptable here.But all in all they have more cigars than Ive ever seen in one place anywhere else, some of the most beautiful pipes, from traditionas in briar and meerschaum, to some of the most intricate and artistic glass pipes next to the metal, wood, and silicone pipes dry or wet,,, if you cant find it here you probably dont need it...

I was just denied service - I was attempting to purchase a couple of cigars - because a wise crack was made about bongs. The cashier lady looked like she had just snorted down a pile of cocaine. Her eyes were extremely bloodshot and she smelled incredibly bad. She also ignored us while we were attempting to check out for several minutes.

Too expensive. They charge $10.00 more for a 16 oz. Bag of America Club Tobacco than my old shop. Also... they charge $4.88 @ box for tubes compared to $2.49 at my old shop.I will NEVER shop here again.
