Great atmosphere, and talented musicians. By far the best dueling piano bar in Orlando. I have gone to three, and these guys are great. Didn’t like the progressive tipping for song/shout outs but the music and talent was exceptional. We had a blast! And did I mention the special drinks? They were quite tasty, and enormous. Of course you are really there to tip the performance but the drinks were a bargain. Remember to tip the wait staff well, because the drinks are huge and you probably won’t want more than one or two. We will be back.
We wanted an unconventional wedding reception and after going to different Howl at the Moons for regular nights out and loving live music, we decided this location in Orlando was the perfect spot! We did a semi private rental and had an open bar, buffet of food for our guests and they even wrote us a custom song! They were great at accommodating our father/daughter, mother/son and first dance songs and even allowed people to get on stage to give a toast. The service staff made sure my husband and I were taken care of the whole night and were super attentive. The best part - everyone had a BLAST! We danced and sang all night long! It was so fun and memorable, I highly recommend Howl at the Moon for your next special occasion or just a fun night out with friends. Photo credit: Lemonhoneyco
From booking the party and going to celebrate on Saturday August 10th the customer service was horrible. The sales team started and the bartender ended with bad service. I would never recommend this to anyone. The music was the only good part of this 1st time experience with your company.
I recently had the opportunity to celebrate my friends birthday at the incredible Howl of the Moon, and I must say, it was an unforgettable night filled with laughter, music, and plenty of good times. From the moment we stepped foot inside, the vibrant atmosphere and energetic crowd set the tone for an amazing evening. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel right at home, ensuring a seamless start to our celebration. The live music at Howl of the Moon was simply outstanding. The talented musicians rocked the stage with their impressive performances, playing all our favorite tunes and even taking requests from the audience. Their ability to engage and interact with the crowd created a lively and entertaining environment like no other. But what truly made this experience exceptional was the enthusiastic dueling pianos act. The pianists showcased their incredible talents, effortlessly belting out chart-topping hits across genres. The way they seamlessly blended songs together and effortlessly harmonized left us in awe. Their energy was infectious, and we found ourselves happily singing along, not wanting the night to end.Our waitress was particularly delightful, continuously making sure our glasses were filled and taking care of our requests promptly with a smile. If youre looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, let loose with friends, and enjoy exceptional live music, Howl of the Moon is an absolute must-visit. Its a place where the musical talents, welcoming staff, and vibrant atmosphere combine to create an experience unlike any other.
I felt disappointed to be honest. Went yesterday. The place was empty. The musicians were not great. They’re trying to uplift the audience but didn’t succeed much. They’re more concerned in receiving venmo payments for requests Thant for actually playing. We requested like 5 songs on paper but they played none of them. There’s no food which is strange. But they let you order from somewhere else and eat there which is cool. The Waiter was super attentive and friendly. No draft beer sadly. Drinks are pricey. They also charge 5 dollars for the entrance and 10 extra for a “gift card” that you can use inside. Meaning you gotta pay 15 to enter but you can use 10 for drinks. We we were at the bar from 8 to 10 pm but decided to leave cause it was kinda boring
Anytime you can visit a dueling piano bar it is always a great time, but Howl at the Moon is an exceptional place and always a lot of fun. If you like great music and singing with the band and maybe even called out to come on the stage, then Howl at the Moon is absolutely AWESOME!!!!
The positive was that the performers were fantastic! It was an awesome group of musicians! The negative was that the crowd was smaller and less enthusiastic (probably just a bad night), and the cost was significantly more than expected.
Bought a table and won a happy hour! SO much fun. Four stars only because we couldnt really hear when the people on the right sang, and our table was right in front of them.
They charge a cover for monotone karaoke music. Cool photo booth but doesn’t actually send you the pictures. Went twice to confirm. Bad vibes 0/10.
One of the best live music bars in Orlando. great atmosphere, with super talented musicians and singers. Will play just about anything you ask. Also very friendly bar & door staff. Definitely coming back when we visit Florida again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bar staff was good and friendly. This 1 star is for all of the music. As a musician, watching the performance made me cringe, hurt my ears, and made me want to kick everyone off of the stage to take over. Individually some of the performers had talent, combined they have no idea how to perform together. Not a single one of them had any rhythm or did anything close to keeping time but they all decided to take turns “playing the drums” which had the be the most musically offensive thing I’ve ever heard. Get an actual drummer play with you, stop doing this, this is not music, this is garbage.
Good musicians all playing multiple instruments with great energy and engagement with the crowd. Servers were courteous and quick. Overall a good experience, definitely recommend.
Bouncer was kind! Bar service was good, the atmosphere is only as good as the crowd, 2 big parties early and left early and they were not sing along kind of people. The show team was struggling to get interaction but overall a great show.
This place sucks. They rob you. They make you pay to hear songs and then they dont play any of them. I paid $30 for 2 songs. Plus there musicians suck. No talent. Do not waste your money or time.
This group of 4 playing were phenomenal, I wish songs I requested were played, with tip by the way but the wife and I had a great time... Songs were upbeat that we requested
A fun bar with extremely talented band members! If you are looking for a fun night this is your place. Get there early for the yummy appetizers, they go fast!
I really love this place. The music is phenomenal, tbe atmosphere is vibing, and everyone is so nice and in a good mood! I have been here many times and it is the same 5 star experience. Love it
The best I-Drive spots for sing-a-longs, bucket drinks and a rowdy time. Dual piano players play requests as others accompany on drums, guitar, sax and more.Expect lots of birthday and Bachelorette parties. No food except for the free buffet they put out if you recieve one of thier free party invites for you and your friends, that comes with 2 free drinks each and the buffet.Outdoor patio is nice to cool off after dancing.Taste ***Quality/Freshness ***Presentation/Uniqueness ****Service ****Atmosphere *****Bar ****Cleanliness ****Value ****
My wife and I went there for the live duelling pianos. They were really good but I found myself comparing them to Jellyrolls (which I thought was better). However if you are on I-Drive this is definitely a place to visit.
We had happy hour reservations so we were able to get some free drinks which was a big plus. It took quite a bit to get the server to serve us once we found a table. We put some money with a few some requests and were there for a couple of hours and never heard any of them. We picked your typical songs youd find at these places, and ones weve played here before or at other Howl at the Moon locations so that was a let down. We finally had to go.All in all we typically have a good time when coming to this location, and well return for sure.
Your bar is amazing and was a ton of fun. I left my phone there and had a flight the next day before they opened at 7pm. I called up there at 5pm and Christen answered. She drove my phone up to the airport and saved my life! Above and beyond! Best service I have ever ver had and thank you so much! SHE NEEDS A RAISE!
What a FUN place buried in International Drive! Like most places here, it is big enough and convenient for an event after hours. They do not serve food but allow food to be brought in. Multiple bars and much more than a during pianos. Includes drums, guitars, horns, singers.. a whole troop of musicians to entertain requests and liven up any night. Great for date night, a night of the town, friends social, bachelor/bachelorette, event wine-down, or even just a solo night out to have fun and mingle. Come enjoy music, drinks, and amazing people!
Currently sitting here loving the dualing karaoke but REFUSE TO order anther drink! syrup for my L.I.T ... And my sister looks at me sobbing about her syrupy concoction.. maybe we try their buckets.. people seem lit-adjacent.. syrup n sugar on deck. Great atmosphere guaranteed headache from the syrup. We went to the liquor store after leaving
The drinks here and potent and free-flowing. An 86oz bucket of signature mixed drink will run you about $35, and its enough for two or more people for sure. The dueling piano players take request and do covers all night, keeping the party going. The lighting is mellow, searing is plentiful, and the vibe is relaxed. Its a fun way to spend a night out after a long day in the parks.
This is my go to place for a rockin atmosphere. The band always keeps you singing along and entertained. If you havent been there; you have to add it to your list.
We had gotten there near closing only an hour before but has a great time , my bartender was great , attentive and always kept a check on us for refills...Thanks for the good time ..!!✌️👍👉🍻🍻🙂👋
This place is very unique. They open late evening but dont have food. However you can bring in food (or have food delivered). Excellent service from walking in the door. Rachelle was the best. I love that Steven as a manager helped to make sure we had a great first experience! (I think the atmosphere would have been rated higher if we came on a different live music night). There are games for you and your friends outside. We will try again next trip
The atmosphere at Howl at the Moon is its selling point. The musicians were charismatic and played a wide variety of songs, along with taking requests. Though its tag line is dueling pianos, they also featured guitar a d some brass, which was a treat. The waitstaff was charming and as attentive as can be expected in such a crowded venue. The one low point of the night would have to be the weak drinks. I had the largest bucket drink along with four shots and a jello shot along with one of the medium-sized buckets, all of which only gave me a buzz. I would suggest doing a little pregame to save money and get into a groove quicker. Overall, I would definitely recommend Howl at the Moon for a good time.
A little pricey, but overall a very fun time! If you like drinking and singing along to tunes, youll have a great time!
So much fun! Get a couple of drinks in you and hit the dance floor!
A GREAT VIBE. I came across this place on my 21st birthday after going to another dull bar. This was definitely more my speed! The musicians are all so talented and they took music requests! They are even had go on the stage to dance and to recognize my birthday and gave me a free drink card! I also was admitted for free. If you like music this is the place for you!
Really fun place. I gave it a 4 star, only because ALL of their tables except for one is a bar top style which was entirely too high for me to sit at from my wheelchair. There was a ramp to the second level but I had to have my friends fix me plates of food since there were steps to get to the food and 3rd level. It just wasn’t completely pleasant having to look up at everyone I was with, as I was more than a head shorter than every one I was with. I felt like a kid, with my eyes at the level of the tables. Our server was amazing, the staff really friendly and the music was fun just wasn’t an adaptive setting I’ll be experiencing again unless they change their venue to be more inclusive
We went here a couple of times during our stay on International Drive, once on a Friday when it was busier, where we booked two tables for six people at a cost 20 dollars each but were given 80 dollars to spend at the bar, and once on a weekday where we had a coupon for free entry and a free drink. We had an absolute blast both times. Dont be put off if it doesnt look too busy in there either, you get to interact with the hosts and request songs by either scanning a QR code and dontating via a cash app or the good old fashioned way with a pencil and paper with some cash.We were made to feel every welcome and are looking forward to coming back again on our next trip.
This place rocks! It is such a fun atmosphere and all the staff are friendly. Love this place!
Love Howl at the Moon!! My apartment hosted a “Happy Hour” and we all got 2 free drink tickets (specific drinks) until 9pm and access to their buffet of food. They didn’t have anything vegan that night, but sometimes they have chips and salsa or pasta- it’s always rotating! There are 2 big bars and servers that walk around to bring you drinks. It’s very loud- even on the patio- but great for a vibe and dancing.
Fun place. Loved that they had Espolon tequila!! Nice selection of alcohol.
Had drinks with friends and we had a blast. The musicians are funny and talented. We only stayed for 2 hours, but it was well worth it.
Had an awesome time, lots of laughter, and what a great atmosphere!!
The talent is awful. Service is terrible. It’s been a long time since last visit and this place has lost its luster.
We came here for my birthday and had a blast! Heather and Ashley were AMAZING bartenders. They took care of us all night with speedy service. They were patient and accommodating for the large birthday group that came to celebrate on a busy Saturday night. I would 10/10 recommend coming here if you enjoy good music and vibes!
Only bar on I drive that charge entry at the weekend Thurs-sat!Advertise 01:45 every night but tried to do in on a Tuesday at 12:15 to be met with locked doors and bouncer came out with a bat attitude to say they were closed because the bar was empty.Senior frogs next door was very busy and had a queue outside with a happy hour on!Howling bar take note and ask your staff to smile.Did hear your dueling piano guys and think thats the reason why your empty. Poor karaoke singers.
Great music and talent, terrible dance floor. Way too sticky to dance.
I had not visited in awhile, but we went for my moms 60th birthday celebration and it was just as fun as I remembered. Everyone in our group had a blast! The staff was fantastic - starting with the planning with Christin, the door staff, our server Danielle, bartender Rob, the entertainers, and even the GM Paul. Were locals and tend to avoid IDrive, but Im sure well be back soon! Thanks for making moms celebration one to remember!
Great place to hang out at after hours. Ended up here twice on my 5 day trip with several colleagues. Awesome place to unwind, have a drink and most importantly, have fun!The rotation of performers was excellent. Not a karaoke bar, but for a generous tip, theyll let you choose a song to sing to! Great artists, extremely lively! Dueling pianos are always so much fun.
This is the most fun I’ve had in Orlando with a few friends ever and that includes the theme parks. The environment is amazing with super attentive servers checking up on us regularly and the bartender makes some of the best drinks I’ve ever had. The entertainment is some of the most fun banter I’ve ever had it genuinely feels like each one of the performers/hosts/musicians loved being there and it shows in there multi-instrument talent and charisma really keeps the audience enthralled in the entertainment even when they aren’t playing a song and just chatting; it’s electric. Thank you for the great nights out, I can’t wait to come back!
Howl at the moon is the place to go for a night of live music, drinks , dancing and great times. A must go to for anyone ages 21 and up. The female singers are so good they should be on the voice, the drinks are really good especially the cherry drink that Alvyn made for me last night. Walking in is perfect because its all covered so wherever you sit it is open doors and they have a patio. Greeted by Maragaret and Ashely so warm and amazing women. The drinks are flowing, the music is popping, the vibes are great. Overall a great place to go always a fun time at howl at the moon. Great vibes, great times. Plus they play songs you request as well. Great place to go for after work drinks, for bachelor, bacheloreete parties, for ladies night, date night friend night honestly any night is a great night to go. This has been a go to spot for me for many years. Thank you so much Margaret, Ashely, and, Ayvenely at @howlatthemoon Orlando. See you guys soon :)
My company had a party on sunday , food was great , what a fantastic staff. Loved it from the very beginning. Ms.bella at the door was amazing greeting all my guest with a smile. Definitely felt great all night. Thanks howl at the moon.
Awesome place to grab a drink, listen to live music and hang out with friends!
Pay the $25 a seat reservation - always a great time, but primo seats and service make the best night ever
No kitchen, pricey entry, bad music, no service, not recommended.
We always have a great time At Howl at That Moon
Very nice location with a cool band. I will be back.
Really fun place and a must do bar in Orlando! So much fun and great atmosphere!
We had fun visiting, I liked the food also
Its a typical bar restaurant setting. They did have song requests for the piano players. There banquet food was ok. Theyre dessert was delicious. Not sure if Id go there again.
Ridiculously loud music. It was so loud it was painful. The system was clear without distortion however it was way past any enjoyable volume for anyone. Numerous people in our group were complaining you couldn’t even talk to a person 6 inches from you. This is a piano bar , it’s supposed to be a place you can relax with friends and hear some live music and have good conversations. It’s absolutely not a place to do anything but have your ears blasted off. Unless you are deaf or bring noise cancelling headphones I don’t recommend this place, had I not been with a group of 30 people I would have immediately left. Clubs in Ibiza, Miami, LA, Vegas, Or London aren’t even this loud .
We are local and come here ALL THE TIME! Its so worth the cover and the higher than normal costs for drinks as it is in the tourist area. All of the musicians here are talented and you cannot go wrong with any of them. You also cannot go wrong with Dell and her amazing Guest Service. She is freaking amazing and management should do anything to ensure she doesnt leave. Always a great time!Cheers!❤
Came here to celebrate a friends birthday and had a blast! The music and staff were great! A huge shoutout to our bartenders Ashley and Heather for their service and overall good time vibes. Can’t wait to go back!
This was by far, one of the best bar experiences Ive ever had! It was a different & fun experience! We reserved a table & got the one right at the stage! The entertainment was fabulous! The performers definitely knew music all across the genres! You could tell they actually enjoyed what they were doing! A fun night for all & I would certainly do it again! Our server, Ashley was great!
Not superficial at all like most bars and clubs. Bartenders are very attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming. The music was kind of ear deafening lol but still a nice spot.
I honestly just wanted to sing and drink last night with my friends and I could not believe the hockey tonk private country only style music. The best part was the rapper who imitated Jay Z. I dont know country music even though Im American. It was for me super disappointing. The tables wet, chairs everywhere and I gave money for a rock song Free Bird and they never played for us. I felt like I was forced to watch a concert. If you dont like country or other styles of music being turned in to country melody Dont go. My night was boring. Dissapointing, I only had 1 drink as we all stared at each other not knowing songs? We paid 10 each to get in? We thought it wa s a piano bar playing all kinds of request. Im sorry to tell you but I drove from far for ?. Play for customers and mix it up! Not everyone is into country only?? Howl at moon was different in Orlando. The lady in bathroom great person, take care of her. She has phenomenal customer service skillsPlay other style of music I could not sing only country way for every song played.
This is not karaoke. Dueling piano bars are not a fun spin on karaoke. It shouldnt pop up in karaoke searches. Dueling piano bars arent the same as live band karaoke either. Unless there is a song list to choose from that allows guest singers to come to the stage to sing with the music FOR FREE, its not karaoke in ANY way. Paying the piano players to let you sing with them doesnt count as karaoke either. Advertising in this way only p1$$3s off real singers who are visiting Orlando looking for an open band to sing with.
Decided to have my bachelorette party come here and it was a blast! Loved the atmosphere, the staff was great! So much fun, i have been to many piano bars but this one is truly my favorite hands down. Great band, great staff, great drinks, GREAT TIME 🙌🏼
Have seen better dueling piano entertainment. Was not impressed. Liked Ole Red and Tin Roof better.
After the alcohol wears off I figured I would give my honest review. The venue is a lot of fun. It was packed, the service was great the drinks were good. Where it missed the mark for me was the entertainment. I’ve been to many piano bars and this was just mediocre for me. They don’t really take requests, it’s more like suggestions. You get the feeling the entertainers are just following their own script. What is billed as dueling pianos quickly became a full band. In can go see a band anywhere a thousand times over. I realize that I prefer the old style dueling piano sing along style.
A group of us came after a work conference dinner. The entertainment was good. I wish they would’ve told us they were full of requests though I did get my money back, we waited an hour for them to play it.Steven was an all star of a bar tender! I started off with water, as I was trying not to be hung over tomorrow. He did not judge my request and came by and topped me off when I finished my glass. As we were leaving, he was holding the door open for people and saw me coming and went to the back and got me a water bottle for the road. He went above and beyond! And I could not be more appreciative!
A great place of youre looking for a fun evening out with live music, friends and drinks
If youve never experienced dueling pianos then youre in for a treat. Tip and request songs, and watch hilarity (and good performers) ensue. This place has really good drinks (price and flavor) for the local area and in general is a ton of fun, but be aware there is NO food served, and some nights there is a cover fee.
Paid $10 for 1 song . They didn’t play it because it was a Christian song…..diversity and inclusion is not in their vocabulary.
Had such a blast, Great Great atmosphere . The musicians are so awesome and interactive with the crowd. Great spot. Drinks ..... could be better. As someone who doesnt drink, I was surprised how little liquor they use. It definitely sucked that the one time I do decide to drink with the group I was with, the drinks were tasteless. But I am never one to complain to a server or bartender because I dont want to sound like that person.
Such a fun experience! Have never been to a piano bar. Service was a little slow at first but great in the end. Drinks were good and the Band members were fantastic!
Food and drinks are simply awesome! Ambience was very good
Drinks were a little expensive considering theyre mostly ice, but overall, great customer service, good live music and a good time.
Great place to listen live music and have a drink
My first time visiting and I had such an amazing time! Great music and atmosphere and am definitely looking forward to coming back. A huge shoutout to our amazing bartenders Ashley and Heather for their outstanding service for our large group!
We had such a good time! The music was fantastic. The staff was very friendly. I rate it a 4 instead of 5 because the music was so loud that I had to yell to my wife, who was sitting less than 2 feet away, in order to be heard. Turn it down some. We can still hear the music, but would like to be able to talk too.
Amazing experience, the musicians were such great entertainment. Service wasnt super friendly or attentive despite the fact that we were a large group on an otherwise totally dead weekday. Would definitely return for the pianos.
Everything was great 👍 👌 good music 🎶
Super fun! Full band in addition to dualing pianos. The singers could be better, although we were there early. Impressive that most seem to be able to play several instruments. Highly recommend for corporate events, happy hours, and parties. Right in the middle of International Drive, so expect traffic and limited parking.
Good atmosphere, but worse live music I ever listened to. The singer was like a drunk person in a karaoke bar. The bartenders were nice though
The piano bar talent is beyond exceptional. Truly generate energy and fun for all
Our server forced us with intimidation (by bringing the bouncer closer to our table) upon the third check of her insisting to open a tab after we already had one open at bar. Not only was she already aware, we weren’t even 15 minutes into establishment and with full drinks that we had just ordered at the bar upon walking in.
Really fun place to hang out. Good mix of people. The singers can sing, but Ill give it to the girls! They were awesome. Good vibe! No drama! People enjoying good music, laughing, dancing, just overall fun place to go. Glad we went!
We had so much fun! Great drinks! Sang along to every song.. next time Im bringing all my friends!
For it to have been my first time I enjoyed the live music. All music was by request and performed by piano. My work group went for happy hour for our staff outing. The drinks were great and the appetizers were good. Our server Ashley made sure everything was on point for us. Definitely no complaints here 👍🏾
This place was so much fun. I regret not asking the bartender what her name is so I could give her props. But she was amazing. She clearly knew what she was doing when she made my drinks. The music was fun and please tell me how in the hell do they keep the restrooms so clean on such a busy Friday night. We had to pay a cover charge at the door but it was totally worth it. If I am ever in Orlando again I promise you I will make it a point to visit this place again. Thank you so much for making my first time trip to Orlando so enjoyable 😉.
Always a good time. Best place to go especially with a convention crowd. Service wasnt great, but we had Dave once and he was really good, and could tell he tried pretty hard. Need better bartenders on the weekends
I so have to say i had fun, talent was good, however things to have in mind are, parking during weekends may be very tight, the outdoor area is a slight waste of space as you can only enjoy the pianos one you are inside, the cover charge makes my expectations a lot higher there for altho staff was great friendly the service times were long to get drinks, the layout of the venue is a bit awkward making things very tight inside yet not enough siting, there is lots of room for optimization. So great for the experience having there are not many in the area, but compared to other dueling piano bars i been to defintly lags.
Always a good time! Great atmosphere and everyone is just having a great time!!!
If you like dueling pianos, its worth going to. The lady that was taking care of our table did a good job. The audio system at this place was definitely better than average for similar places but I would encourage them to add side fills. Hey reputable audio consultant could help with that. You can hear the music with the line arrays that are in the room but if you are off to one side or the other the vocals are quite lacking. The people performing tonight we went were quite talented in a lot of fun however some time to be spent to clean up the stage area, particularly the rear part of the stage.
Great music n drinks. I would give it a 5 star if they had at least something there to eat. We were there after dinner even then we wanted a snack with our drinks. At least some nachos or soft pretzels to have with our drinks. You don’t need a kitchen for that.
Pretty rude about their $10 cover at the door. Music sounded pretty mediocre.
This is advertised as a dueling piano bar.... although they did have a little show of dueling pianos...it wasnt what I was expected. Extremely loud, lively place
I did not go here expecting much, but my friend convinced me and my wife to pay the $10 cover charge and go in. It ended up being one of my favorite times with him. It was a great place and the musicians are incredibly talented. They are all able to play piano, drums, bass, guitar and can sing! It was an incredible night and would recommend it to most people. They dont bleep out swear words.
Nice location, was here for a corporate event, which isnt really my thing, but the venue was neat. A touch loud, but I think thats typically what youre going to a dueling piano bar for, so thats on me. Bathroom guy is an absolute gem, highlight of the night.
We had such a wonderful time here!!! Got there early and had no problem finding seats. The dueling pianos are so entertaining!!! The piano players are so very talented!! We gave them a few odd requests and they played them all!!! This is a great night out! I really had a lot of fun.
I used to go to Howl at the Moon years ago. The performers were really fun, interactive & entertaining. I don’t know what happened. A group of 20 of us went Friday night. One of the guys was really good, but the girls didn’t nothing but sing boring songs. They weren’t fun or engaging at all. A very drunk woman tried to take our paid a reserved seats & called us names & told us she was going to get us kicked out when we asked her to move, because she said she was friends of the performers. Maybe just go to a bar with good music & dance. This wasn’t what it used to be.
I cant say enough good things about this place! My wife won a free Happy Hour after we attended one organized by a friend. The staff was great about scheduling, and the drinks were really good!Make sure you eat before coming as happy hour only has an appetizer bar.You can order food and have it delivered, but youll be too busy singing along and enjoying the Pianos!
The atmosphere was awesome! The music was enjoyable. You can get your basic drinks at affordable prices. I am only leaving 4 stars instead of 5 because I do feel like the bucket drinks weren’t made with a good alcohol to mixer ratio.
Had a great time! Weekends are even more fun though. So much talent on stage, as they switch from piano to drums to guitar, and even sax and harmonica. Joe treated us like friends... but please dont ask him to do any Johnny Cash songs. (Inside joke)
Loved the atmosphere, great musicians and music choices. But the waitress made it difficult (maybe just having a bad night?) So we had to go the bar for every drink. Which is not a huge deal except it was super crowded and they wouldnt open up more of the lounge for more space. Anyways great time overall!
We have had so much fun here, going back to back nights. The staff is amazing, from the door girl Amy to the servers to Ferg. My wife and I came by ourselves the first night and had so much fun we brought our friend the next night. The performers did a amazing job. Phillip, Amy, Neil, Steve (I think) and a couple others. We will be back. Definitely make this a priority if your on vacation or live locally like us.
Came here for a bachelorette party. We arrived before 9 so there wasn’t much of a crowd but it grew steadily through the night. The musicians are unbelievable and it ended up being a very fun dance party. Would recommend for any group!
So much fun. The night we were there it was more of a band than dueling pianos but nevertheless fun. Requests for songs started at $2 and went up as the night went on and they received quite a few already. Bartenders were great. Attentive but not hovering. Always fun at Howl at the Moon.
Charging a cover for 4 people when 10 people total are at the bar at 8 on a weekday night? No thanks… I’m happy to tip the bartenders and the musicians - or pay a cover if the place is packed, but why charge a cover at the door if the place is dead? We left and went down the road to Cafe Tu Tu Tango and had an amazing night. Great drinks and awesome vibes. Skip this place - not worth the cover when it’s empty. Maybe come back after 11p - but definitely not worth your stop before 10p on a weekday.
Absolutely fantastic place, we visited several times on our holiday from the uk and were treated so well by all of the staff. The manager, the door and bar staff were amazing.Howl on the moon is one of my favourite places to visit of an evening, piano duelling, great music, fantastic atmosphere and cocktails in buckets . I couldnt ask for more. Highly recommended
Great place, had a really nice time..BUT they didnt know how to play 4 out of the 10 songs I requested. All huge 2000 hits. Ive requested these songs in Thailand and they knew them. Kinda disappointing.
Fun place if you have the right crowd. We went on a weeknight so it wasnt too crowded and the music was so loud we couldnt talk to each other but the musicians were talented. They play fun music but it was so much about pay for play songs that it took some of the fun out of the concept. Ive been to many dueling pianos and would like to see more fun and friendly competition among each of them instead of just taking turns rotating on and off the pianos.
If you want a fun night, this is it! Dual piano bar style, the band was amazing!! You can request songs and is tip based, drinks are delicious and a wide variety. My server was Marissa and she was delightful, very kind and super fast and friendly service. It gets very busy at peak hours but they do have a big patio area with chairs and tables!
Alright.Bit of context; my wife and I flew in from Michigan this past Tuesday (8/30). We flew in to celebrate our anniversary and our honeymoon (been married 5 years and never got a chance to have one). Wed been to a piano bar in Grand Rapids in Michigan at one point and loved it so decided to try this place our second night; Wednesday. We were met with nothing short of absolute courtesy and love. The staff here know how to provide a good time from the bouncers to the servers to the musicians. Our first night at Howl at the Moon we were a bit reserved and it seemed the staff picked up on it and helped us to have a great night. So great that Friday night we went back a third night. Our second night we let loose and had an even better time.Tonight, Saturday night we came back with friends that are local whod otherwise never been. They also loved it and swore theyd be coming back. The drinks are phenomenal. Theyre fun, tasty and quick to be served. The music is insane. I wish I caught all the musicians names but Ive forgotten. Be that as it may its incredibly shocking that they dont make millions doing whay they do. Back to back hits that are most times done better than the original artist. Meanwhile, theyre playing the instruments and singing (a huge talent). They do songs per request and knew almost everything we through at them (and we had some CURVEBALLS).We were blessed to be served by several people. Ashley and Kendall were extremely talented, sweet and knew how to make us feel at home. It seemed effortless. There were several other servers who helped us and Im so sorry to them that I cant recall names. These people are diamonds, and extremely rare to come by.Our second and third nights we were welcomed back with good to see you again and Im so happy to see you again. This made my wife and I feel like VIPs. Even the doormen and bathroom attendant recognized us and welcomed us back-so much so that they gave us hugs and talked with us-not your typical how are you liking your trip conversation either but rather engaging and personable conversation.I got the joy of speaking with almost everyone there and each person was as warm and inviting as the last.I could go on and on and on. If youre visiting, or are local-this is a great place to spend your night. 10/10 Id recommend. To everyone we were able to speak with; thank you. Truly; thank you-SO much. You all helped my wife and I to have the best time of our lives. Keep doing what you do. You are appreciated and cherished. We will be back next year-hope to see you all again.
Had so much fun at this place! Fun songs and even better staff. Huge shout out to Heather and Ashley for making my first time at Howl at the Moon so memorable!
There is no food. My major issue with this place is the fact that they have a bathroom attendant. The bathroom was overwhelming covered in perfumes, soaps and all kinds accoutrements. It was smelly and weird and the person in there expected money compensation just to use the toilet and sink.
By far the best bar Ive ever been too. Constant songs and laughs and dancing. Ive never seen anything like it.. I went in around 9pm and didnt leave until they closed around 2am.They have cocktails in buckets and Im def going back when I get the chance. 10/10 recommend coming here.
Great entertainment. The performers are extremely talented. Drinks are a little pricey, but the service really good as well. I went with some family and friends to celebrate a birthday, and we all had a great time. Not for anyone under 18.
Great take on a classic piano bar with talented musicians working individually or up to a 4 piece band. Songs range from rock and country to pop and even hip hop. Drinks are solid and service is quick. Staff is accommodating. The ability to pay for written messages on mirrors behind the performers is a neat twist. Great place for groups and events
Does not post correct hours. I made plans with multiple friends who all drove over an hour to meet me here, and was told they were closed for a private event. I called before showing up and checked hours on the website, apparently they close randomly without advertising. Very frustrated to have driven so far to go (my friends as well) and be turned away when they don’t advertise their hours appropriately. Never coming back to this venue again and I do not recommend anymore, you cannot trust their posted hours.
Had a blast. The music is fun, lots of crowd interaction. The buckets are a bit pricey but taste great. Drinks were good. Outdoor only smoking. Lots of seating but get there early before its all taken.
I requested a song and even paid money, but they did not play it despite saying they had a lack of requests. There were other parties there who made many several song requests that were honored, and I only made one. Artists were talented otherwise
This is a unique, bar niche venue. The customers participation is just as important as the servers & musicians. Our experience was outstanding. The beer & drinks that Rochelle served up were ice cold. I highly recommend this place!
Good drinks, great atmosphere, fantastic servers. My only complaint is due to the fact Im deaf in one ear and the speakers are very loud in the main area so it caused me some pain. Thankfully all I had to do to remedy that issue was move to the outdoor area.
We had a great time with a few other couples. Request your favorite songs and sing along. They have upgraded from just dueling pianos to include guitar and drums for certain songs. Get on their mailing list to win a party and get drink deals. It is right on International Drive, so it draws a decent crowd. Bring a group for a fun time.
I went there with my wife and her family. Its not really my kind of scene so I didnt really enjoy it too much. They has a good selection of drinks and the piano players were actually good singers so that was nice. Didnt really care for most of the songs that they played or the crows though. Like I said it wasnt my scene so anyone that likes places like this would probably love it.
Great place to take a small group of folks. Dueling pianos are really cool and the entertainment is very good. Drinks are great but a bit pricey. Not a fan of the cover charge so we go less often. Pretty silly since we spend close to $70 on drinks each time we go but the $20 to get in keeps us from going there often.
Been a minute since Ive been to Howl at the Moon, and the experience did not leave me wanting. The original plan had been to go elsewhere, but it was clear this was the place where the party was happening. The atmosphere here was good-natured and fun - loving. The entertainment was brilliant, service first-rate, and drinks were thirst-quenching.What more could you ask for?
Really fun spot for drinks, music, dancing. Our waitress was awesome. Anything goes, casual, dressy, flip flops, shorts, T-shirt’s, young, old everyone welcome, well drinking age at least. They have a photo booth setup too, the work group I was with got a picture- fun memories. They also had a hot dog stand out front when we left, smelled amazing, but we skipped due to the long line of patrons- must be good.
Awesome place! Im fairly introverted, but the wait staff were extemely kind and the music was fantastic and they take requests. Beyond that, strong drinks and just a good time overall. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys music and drinks.
We went there to celebrate my best friends birthday and it was so much fun! I bought tables and a birthday package. The staff was so atentive and kept the drinks flowing! The performers called my friend on stage and did a great job making her feel extra special. I would highly recommend this place , and would be coming back!
I love that this location has a patio and it’s a lot bigger than other locations I’ve been to! I love this bar! It’s fun. Love the Photo Booth!!! Everything is amazing
Pretty sad that they dont let women/ people in general charge their phone anywhere in this establishment. (if you ask they say no and they have all outlets covered up/ blocked) Very unsafe for tourists, especially females relying on their phone for an uber out of the establishment. Besides that being super super sketch, the place had good music and atmosphere. Drinks were over priced just like most places in the area but not as overpriced as some others nearby.
Fun for packed crowds with average bar quality drinks. The best part of this place is singing along with the live dueling pianos, and putting your request for songs in to the musicians. We honestly had a blast! P.s. Small area for dancing at this location.
Went there with a group of gals and we had the BEST TIME! Most important was when an unwanted situation began to arise the management responded swiftly and appropriately. It was refreshing and helped us feel safe. That way we were able to get right back to having a great time! Highly recommend!!!
Drove 40 minutes to go to Howl at the Moon the other night but was informed as I entered the parking lot that the entire bar was closed for a private event. This could have been avoided if they had updated their business hours temporarily on Google. As a business owner, I know this is not difficult to do.
Great place to dance and sing karaoke live band.
Cool spot. There was a cover, but they had some free grub. The show was fun.
From security, to the managers, to the bartenders and servers and most importantly the performers just an amazing experience every time. Will always stop in at least once every time in Orlando. Well done!
This was my first time here & I have to say it was very entertaining. Im glad I experienced it. I requested a song & it was played & played well. Definitely a fun place and would come again when we visit Orlando again. Our waitress was very attentive and nice.
Party time!!!! Great fun for all. Bring cash and tip the performers ($5-$7) to have them write your quote on the board and play your song. Great interaction with everyone there. be careful because the drinks will sneak up on you. (ask me how I know) ATM was down while we were there and bar has no way of making change with your card or putting cash on your tab.
Had a wonderful time on my sister brithday
Howl at the moon is a sweet bar super fun and really chill. One down side you couldnt move tables and chairs. Sitting at the bar was super cool the bar tenders were super chill and had fun with us as well. The music was great they have dual pianos two they did sing off battles which were awesome. Like I sang ever song they played. I normally am not a heavy drinker so I didnt know what to get so I asked and they helped me and boy was it good and having a gathering there was worth it. If you ever just have like 3 to 4 people with you thats the place to go. Even with the them nights wow it was great.
Had a great experience here. Staff are friendly, drinks are good and strong. The show is fantastic, put on by super talented people.Be prepared for the loud volume, and be prepared to sing along to every single cover.
My favorite bar!!! I wish there was one near home. Its fun to listen to the music played by incredibly talented people who can play numerous instruments and can play just about anything. Theres dueling pianos with drums, guitars and etc and normally about 5 musicians that switch h off to play anything you request (with a tip). Its so much fun. Definitely a place to check out.
I love this place and normally its excellent! The cover was $10 cheaper than I normally is and the bartender was very prompt with our drink order. My issue is with the rudeness shown to my guests by the musicians. Im glad this wasnt my first visit, or Id be turned off to going there again.
Amazing! We had a great time. I suggest reserving tables for your party as you will get a seat close to the stage. Musicians are amazing and do a great job playing the crowd and keeping everyone entertained.
I just want to say that you guys have an amazing guy working security at your bar. Wraith went above and beyond to make me and my friends feel safe after something a little uneasy happened when we were at the bar. We will never forget the kindness he showed and how much he went out of his way to make sure we were secure.
Somewhat overpriced but also people there were having a good time! Its Okay but many other spots competing for tourist dollars. Still, If you like dualing pianos sure youll enjoy it!
If you have never been to this dueling piano bar, I insist that you do!! Ive only been here during the weekends, but each time that Ive went was awesome! The musicians are incredible and it seems like the crew knows every song! The bar had great deals (half off certain beers) reach time Ive went. Big parking lot to park in behind the establishment. I repeat, if you havent been PLEASE do yourself a favor and go!
Howl at the Moon seems to be a popular spot for tourists and also for those celebrating events like bachelorette parties. The staff members are generally friendly and the performers are very talented. Prices are pretty high unless you are a member of a party (which the parties are pretty easy to win). The parties are the best bang for your buck since they throw in a couple free drinks and discounted drinks until 10. They also have a buffet included which is pretty decent with items like tacos, pulled pork, and Mac and cheese. The major downside here is that it gets pretty packed and its fairly cramped with the way tables are set up. Its also very loud so its not easy to converse. The drinks are pretty average and not very strong. Its a decent enough place and worth visiting from time to time for a special occasion, but its not usually my first choice for an evening out.
I love this place. A favourite place in orlando. Busy bar. Two pianos. You put a request on a paper, you pay 5 10 or 20 dollars. They will write on the mirror your statement. They will sing your song. Beer is flowing constantly. Smoking available outside. Best ambiance you can find. Sometimes booked for private party so be ready to get disappointed from disallowing entrance. Still a great place. Musicians are top rated.
