Red Coconut Club

Stopped by the Red Coconut Club to grab an adult beverage and check out the atmosphere and had a wonderful experience! The DJ was playing awesome music and everyone was enjoying their time there. I had a Rogue Santas beer and it was really good and had a hint of chocolate flavor...yum. The Cinnamon Swizzle Paloma off of the specialy menu was also exceptional and you could definetly taste the tequila in the drink. Bartenders are awesome and fun was had by all!

Red coconut club is not temporarily closed anymore. We were there this past Saturday for the last weekend of the Cursed Coconut Club overlay for Mardi Gras. Its a fun place to dance. Mixed drinks are around $15.

My friends and I came here and few nights ago and we all got food poisoning. Bar didn’t look the cleanest and the juice was just sitting out. Threw up that night and all the next day. Definitely won’t be coming back.

DJ was rude, did not know anything about KPOP night, what a disappointment. When requesting he did not know any songs, and said 2 hours of KPOP was enough, but then why advertise falsely? Then just have normal nights with non Korean music then. All of the crowd left after he stopped playing kpop. Do better, culture yourselves this is 2024. Thanks!

Here right now….. god no to this country night you are doing. I love country music. But this country try night is god awful. Please stop this. I’ve watch so many people leave you bar tonight. This is not a drinking vibe

They advertised a “kpop night”, on the poster it said from 5-1am a dj didn’t start until 9:30pm and he stopped playing kpop at 11. When requesting kpop to be played at the advertised kpop night he told people “I already played 2 hours” don’t advertise something if it’s not true. If I wanted to listen to the non-kpop music he played, I could have literally went anywhere else. There’s plenty of kpop events in Orlando that sell out everytime, this is not one that welcomed us

Love the atmosphere.. I just happened to walk by and they was playing Kpop.. MY favorite and the best part it was kpop nite.. Loved the vibe and drinks..

TOURIST TRAP!!! Myself and my wife were welcomed in to join the party after Universal. We went to the bar to order drinks and kept asking the bartender how much the beers were. He told us to wait and then after pouring and giving the drinks to us, he finally mentioned that they were $25 for 2 measly plastic cups of beer! If thats what they want to charge, thats their business. But as a customer I should be told how much it is before I am obligated to purchase it. Because I would have made a different decision and not wasting my money on one beer when I could have just bought a case on my way out after leaving!!!

Now for Halloween renamed: Dead Coconut Club. AMAZING- MUST SEE!!! Completely transformed for Halloween. Vintage classic monsters all over the club- lots of photo ops! Drinks are always great.They also have Halloween specialty drinks available (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). ASK FOR A MENU WITH THE PRICES or see if they have a QR code you can scan that will show drinks and prices. You can purchase souvenir cup with some drinks.Live music starts at about 6pm. After that they have a DJ playing music. Small merch store next door with TONS of cute tshirts and stuff that I had only seen I the park.Free entrance. Minors were allowed in with supervising adult.

Visited for the Cursed Coconut Club for Mardi Gras and it was fantastic!! The theming and decorations are incredible, and the singers were wonderful! The drinks are delicious and the bartenders are very friendly

No cover charge before 10pm, happy hour until 10:30 loved the $6 margaritas live band nice atmosphere

Ive been coming to Red coconut since 2013. My favorite spot!!! I love the vibe and people! Havent been here since it locked down and Im extremely excited to return!.

This place used to be amazing with a band behind the bar and a great time when I used to go. I went with friends last night, playing holly jolly Christmas at club loudness in a club type bar. Love Christmas, but want dancing music. The female bartender seemed as if we were bothering her as we were the only ones at bar. No options to drink.. 2 bottled beer choices…what??? And super pricey. I think under new ownership and not in a good way! Such a shame as this was a great hot spot. Go somewhere else!

Excellent service from the beginning to the end the VIP area and our waitress Courtney super sweet and professional always in the right time. The manager Brian is amazing and the crowd was super nice. We was celebrating two birthday and the DJ mentioned during the night. I’m definitely coming back and recommend this place to have a great time with friends.

Great atmosphere! Love the set up and the different mix of music. I enjoyed the service and will definitely be back to boogie. Friendly staff. Drinks can be a little bit cheaper. I always have a good time when I go. I will be back!

Talk about a great place in Universal CityWalk! This is a good spot for adults. The food was flavorful and delicious. The drinks ice cooled and refreshing. The atmosphere was enjoyable and inviting. I especially appreciated the bartender Rose, from NY. She was friendly, great customer service and attentiveness to the patrons. She held great conversations and made us feel welcomed.

Drinks are a little pricey, but I love the environment! A Florida resident or local small discount would be great. Bartenders are awesome and always take great care of my boyfriend and I, especially Sandy! Love the live band, but the music gets a little repetitive if you come often. Overall great bar/ club but could use a few updates.

Good atmosphere. Good music. Friendly staff. Think the managers name was Brandon or Brian. Forgot his name but he was really friendly. Bartenders made great drinks and were easy to talk to. Wish they had drink specials!! That would be perfect.

Closes way too early, makes people not want to go in the future. $13 for a shot is quite the investment too. Nice staff and music

Amazing atmosphere. Live music with all the hits food is good and very professional service. Restrooms spotless clean and plenty of space throughout! Next Christmas party destination!!!! Red Coconut is awesome! Came to celebrate our bachelorette party we got excepted by Brian to the private bar upstairs! Amazing service! Awesome music! If you’re looking to celebrate a special event go to the Red coconut you won’t be disappointed!

My family and I decided to try this due to it raining and no availability anywhere else. We were hungry so in we went. First, our server took a very long time getting us drinks, and we had to ask for the water she said she would bring for us all. After that, she only brought 2 and there was 6 of us. Every time we asked for another drink she would bring it (eventually) and leave the old cups so they accumulated in the middle of the table. During all of this we were waiting for food. When it came it was 2 half dollar sized crab cakes for like$17, 2 steak skewers with literally a 2in x 1in piece of steak on each for like $18...this goes on bc we got 3 items and 2 drinks. We left owing over $100 and hungry, not to mention the food did not taste good. This was,hands down, the worst experience Ive had yet.

My first time here. It was a company get together. The place was lovely, set up elegantly but had a casual feel. The DJ rocked while the band connected with the crowd on a personal level. We will def make this a spot to be on the next trip!

One of the most pleasurable experiences of my clubbing life. The mix between nightclub and bar and lounge is flawlessly done. Ive clubbed in many states and countries and the red Coconut by far exceeds all expectations. The friendly knowledgeable staff was always around for a greeting or great advice and tips about universal and citywalk as well for a dynamic experience. The drinks were perfectly made and reasonably priced. Id recommend this place to anyone trying to enjoy their night the right way!!!!

Watered down drinks, the vibe and energy was kind of dead, the only highlight of the night was the performance and appearances from Frankenstein. It sounds like a cool place to go while waiting for HHN, but I now understand why it was so empty.

Bottle service on Saturday night! Vanessa was amazing! We wanted for nothing! She catered to our every need! The live band was amazing. Great place, great vibe! Highly recommend!

I was surprised that it was not very crowded last night. My wife and I decided to stop by here for a drink. The bartender was very nice and she made some suggestions about what my wife might like. At the end of the night she even suggested a nice sushi place at Citywalk where we could eat.

The red coconut club was given a Holliday overlay for 2022 and is known as the Dead Coconut Club! The venue opens on Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) at 5pm. The beer selection is the same as you get within the park during HHN, but they have 3 specialty cocktails priced at $14. The overlay is based off the universal classic monsters and the displays are scattered throughout the venue, make sure you see them all!

I ordered for sex on the beach without ice, the drink was served by Tracy. When i had a sip of the drink i could taste of nothing but juice. I went back to inform her she was so rude she had the audacity to tell me that Just because i ordered for the drink with no ice doesnt mean that i will get more alcohol all they do is add more juice. what type of policy is that? I was so mad i told her i dont want the drink she should replace it with something else she totally ignored me and went about her business. I ended up paying for a shot of a top shelf drink. Well my friend also asked for the same drink but on the rocks/with ice and she too could tell that there was no alcohol in that drink. This totally messed up our night, but thanks to The groove our drinks were so well done and the staff was so friendly. I wonder why we went to Red Coconut in the first place.

Really fun time with some friends. We ended up at this place after a movie in Citywalk and we were greeted by a great staff and great music. The manager Brian was especially welcoming. Will be back!

Ill tell you everything you want to know. I went on a sunday. No cover. Mainly hip hop music. $8 domestic bottles. No ultras. Beer selection on tap? No. Speed of service seemed to be wherever you were at the right or wrong time. My service was great. I sat at the bar. I witnessed some get their drinks in 30 seconds, and some waiting 7 minutes. They do seem shoe handed on staff. But i did see a manager (who i presume (joe)) help out, during the sunday night football game, behind the bar. Then disappeared. I went in with big exceptions of the bathroom. But no paper towels to dry hands both times i went. Overall, out if the 3-5 bares/clubs around this area in walk in distance, not bad. Crowd wasnt super packed. School night. Sunday. Theme park bar. What can you expect. But there was a small good crowd. Heard that bob Marley place is also good. Also about the groove, but they are a more rap and hip hop genre. Also o brien had a super small crowd. But chill and two awesome guys playing live music piano.

Brian and Noelle were the best! They noticed we were celebrating a bachelorette party and they took such great care of us. Their guest service was amazing and one of the best at Universal. They deserve raises!

Tracy (the bartender) and Brian (the manager) were two of the best people I’ve ever been served by. I’m a huge Cavs fan and even though the game wasn’t on, the replayed the one from 2 nights before. One of my favorite places and definitely my favorite staff in Citywalk.

Was on vacation at the end of August and I went for a drink to this place with my wife. We were sitting there while having a couple of drinks and we were watching like 4 people on the dance floor. It was a combination of a band playing old 80s and 90s music and a dj playing pop and house. For about an hour we watched in horror as these 4 or 5 drunk people on the dance floor were making fools of themselves dancing. After a while I got bored and asked the bartender if there was ever any Latin music played here? She said no it was not a Latin club. So I asked her if I could ask the band to play something Latin and she told me that if I wanted to hear Latin music I should go to Bob Marleys. I was amazed that this bartender lady would say that to me. So this person was so racist she did not even realize that Bob Marleys plays reggae and not Latin music. That goes to show how ignorant this person is. But it gets better, I asked the dj to play any kind of Latin music and he looks down at me from the booth and says I don’t play latin music. This is not that kind of place. What does that even mean?So just by looking at this dj with a Barney looking haircut shaved on the sides and spiked from front to back was obvious was a racist as well. Looked like a punk rocker reject from the 80s. I spoke to the club manager as well as another mamger who claimed he was a general manager. These people were both apologizing and offering free drinks. I refused the free drinks and told them I would never go back to that place. Really all they needed to do was play a Latin song and prove to me that the place was not anti Latino and they did not offer that. They kept telling me how recently Latin night had stopped at this club but again did nothing to show me and my wife that we were wrong. So to this anti Latino club red coconut you get 0 star review. What a shame that the place was so dead and boring . And to the managers at his place please learn customer service! They were very insulting and knew nothing about how to run a night club.

I go to Red Coconut every time I get a chance to. I always have fun. The live band & DJ always play awesome music. I dance all night till 2am.. cant wait to go again.

Rude door man who wouldnt let us in because it was 30 minutes to close and they didnt want to deal with more people. I have lived in Orlando my whole life and can always count on a good time at City Walk. The first place I always go after dinner used to be Red Coconuts. I was so offended I will never be back again. Not how you treat your locals! I went to the Groove instead and had a blast.

It was kind of dead when my group went in, and we really didnt care for the lounge-feel / club singer covering bruno mars songs. But a lady singer came out and sang I will Survive and that was good. I probably wouldnt go back just because its meant for the older crowd I think.

I when on a Saturday night, was a very nice experience, Good band , nice VIP area ,drink was good , DJ super friendly, I requested a couple latín song , he played without any problems... I have a super good time on Red Coconut, 💯 recommended ... Definitely I will return, better atmosphere than Mangos for sure !!!!

We are in our late 40s and had a blast! The band was fantastic, the DJ kept the dance floor packed. People were happy and funny. Avg age group was 30ish to 50 ish. Management was roaming around the place keeping tabs. On our City Walk Tour this was the first stopped and we stayed. It was $7.00 each at the door, vs the $12.00 each pass. If you like to dance its gets hot in there, expect to sweat. Attire is summer dress casual. Nice shorts, sundress, tommy bahama shirts etc. Enjoy

Not s latino club at all. Just a Universal Studio bar with a top 40 band. They may have latino music on occasion but it should not be listed as a latino club. Band was good, but did not stay as it was not latino music. Very misleading and false advertisement!

We have the best time at the Coconut Club. We dance non stop, the servers are attentive, the drinks is amazing!! The manager is so accommodating!

Came on Tuesday it was very slow. For a theme park it had a neighborhood feel. I hung out with Tracy and one of her regulars. I ended up of having a great time for a slow night.

The food here is absolutely terrible. I fully expected to get food poisoning, thankfully didn’t. I’d rather lick Rosie O’Donnells behind after a brisk walk on a hot day than eat that garbage again.

Two levels to dance, went for a conference party and the drinks were too sweet and the floor was kind of sticky.

The music is good on Latin nights for the first few hours. I dont know why the DJ changes up the flow. WACKKKKK!!!!Go to blue martini Latin nights much better. Just saying

Im new to town and was looking for a spot to chill...I went to.few places at City Walk and then found Red Coconut ,,,,I met some friendly people there and Tracy soon became my bartender,she was very personable and now I frequent the establishment a few times a week, I also purchased an annual pass.I would highly recommended Red Coconut its friendly and a fun place to chill with friends!!

Don’t give them any business they are a rude awful place. When it was pouring down rain and we tried to sit under their outside canopy and they had no business or customers outside the place looked dead they made us leave. I could see if it was sun shining and people wanting to sit there but there was no one. Awful place.

Have been coming to Red Coconut on Sundays for the past couple years , whenever I am in town for work. The staff is always friendly and Reggie is a great bartender.

I cant really complain about it being small everything at CityWalk is tiny inside. Youre looking at 12 to $15 a drink which is standard down there.

Your liquor is watered down. I ordered a double Tito’s & soda water and couldn’t even taste the vodka.

Tonight we visited this site, a couple of friends and my husband and I. We are in Orlando for four days and we wanted to go dance for a while and have a nice night.Unfortunately our night was short, when we had been there for a while I approached the DJ and asked him please if he could please us with some Latin music to encourage my husband to dance (taking into account that we were almost the only ones dancing in the place). .Sadly for us he answered medefinitely not. We wanted to dance and have fun so much!, and we immediately left the place.And I havent stopped wondering, what can an establishment like this gain from having a DJ who, when asked by his users, can say definitely not!?Red coconut tonight you lost four good clients and definitely not is a place I would recommend to my friends
