I am beyond grateful for Kim, Larry, Mercy, and all of the staff at Sophie’s… What a truly fantastic group of talented and caring professionals. The level of knowledge they possess makes them subject matter experts of their profession, but their ability to display genuine care and concern for patients and clients is at a level off the charts. If you have an opportunity to visit for medicinal massage or luxury relaxation, do not miss! 100% recommend!!!

I had a prenatal massage and facial for my birthday while we were in town on vacation. Kimberly and Suzanne were awesome! The lounge room is stocked with snacks and drinks with comfy seating for you to wait between sessions. Kimberly used just the right amount of pressure for the massage and the facial from Suzanne was bliss. They even brought me a little parting chocolate treat for my birthday. So sweet! Sophie was there too and followed us from room to room for some pet therapy.

We were visiting the area and decided to get a massage on our last day of vacation. I’m so glad we chose Sophie’s Day Spa because we had a great experience. The massage was amazing, we didn’t feel rushed through and the staff was very personable. I recommend doing the longer ones because you will not want it to end! They really took their time with us and if we are in the area again, we’ll be back!

Had a great experience at Sophie’s Day Spa. The owners, Kim and Larry, were extremely friendly and the massage I had with Kim was fantastic. Their space is clean, welcoming and extremely comfortable and I will absolutely be going back. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good massage or spa treatments in the Pensacola area!

We felt very welcomed. The atmosphere was great, and so was my massage. They made sure to check if there were any trouble areas that needed special attention or areas preferred to have more attention. They also make sure to ask how much pressure you like to have and that they can adjust if needed at any time. They do have a room to sit and relax with some snacks, water, herbal tea, and other options too. I am looking forward to going again.

My partner book us a couples massage for my 21st birthday. We had Mercy and Chantea (I believe). It was both our first times there and first time ever getting a professional massage. It was absolutely fantastic! It was an hour long session. I had Mercy and they were absolutely amazing and accommodating. Honestly an hour sounds like a long time, but i wish it was longer!! I can’t wait to go again!

My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage and Kim and Mercy did such an incredible job! It was our first massage ever a they were so kind and sweet, very attentive to our needs! We felt so relaxed afterwards! The atmosphere and vibe in the spa is so cozy, comfortable and inviting! We will definitely be returning and I will be recommending Kim and her crew to everyone!

I had the ultimate spa day with Sophie and her humans today. Kim absolutely pampered me and had me feeling like a princess with fabulous gel nails. The pedicure station is above and beyond with their massage chairs and slushie/jelly mix. However, those chairs have nothing on Kim herself! I was so relaxed I think I might have snored a little. I finished the day with an amazing facial. These girls ordered me lunch, pampered me all day long, and I will definitely be back. 10 out of 5 stars!

Let me tell you my husband and I went there for my birthday. Where we had a couples massage scheduled and my husband a pedicure for me The pedicure was the worst pedicure Ive ever had not only did the Polish roll off because she didnt have the little machine to dry it but I was scheduled to come home put on my gown to go out to Jacksons steakhouse for dinner and I had to quickly try to fix the tool polish that was smeared all over the place and even when she did it I had noticed there was polish on the skin that she didnt even take a q-tip or anything and try to get it off when you get nail polish on the cuticle it will peel off I was really disappointed and barely had time to get dressed trying to fix the problem My husband who had never had a massage ever I have been telling him how great this was going to be and during my massage he started snoring being that were on tables next to each other but then when I rolled over and I didnt hear her say for him to roll over I waited and waited and waited about 15 minutes past so I lift my head up and look up and shes sitting down in the chair not even massaging my husband but yet we paid almost close to $500 they did get me some lovely cake bomb chocolate things that were delicious and Mercedes did a wonderful job on my massage hands down she was great but everything else was a big disappointment besides the cake it was good please dont waste your money getting a pedicure there and if you do get a massage make sure its by Mercedes and not by the owner had to go back to my little Vietnamese ladies that for $38 I get hot stones flower drawn on there I get hot towels massage and my polish never comes off for over a month and they dont use gel nails or any of that stuff that damages the toes just regular polish that last when its done properly

Editing my review now that Ive had many different services. I recently had my first massage with Kim, the owner, and was in a total state of bliss the whole time. This is such a better massage than my first with a corporate, chain company.Kim is an angel who clearly pours her heart into her work. So kind, genuine, considerate. She really took the time to figure out what was bothering me with my back that was (well still is, but Ill be back for another massage soon) but REALLY hurting me. The level of effort she took into understanding what was wrong and working on it was remarkable.Ive gotten four facials here and they are heavenly as well. These are wonderful people who crush it, make you feel absolutely at home, and really take care of you!Shout out to the adorable Sophie too, the sweetest doggy their business is named after. Shes a good girl and I think an enhancement to the experience!Locally owned and they offer a lot of different services and sell high quality products. If youre ever unsure about what kind of service to get they will help you tremendously and honestly. Highly recommend this place! They have my heart!P.S. Get your lashes and brows tinted! $15 for each and they really do last the six plus weeks and make a flattering difference.Love Sophies Day Spa! 💕 Thank you guys!

Chantea did an amazing job on my daughters hair. Explained the process thoroughly and my daughter loves it!! Merry Christmas to her.Also toured Sophies and its such a nice place. Privacy for varying services, and very clean.Already have an appointment scheduled for myself to have a facial with Lauren.Everyone was so nice and welcoming.

This place is truly a hidden gem! I had never heard of them before now. My mom bought me a whole day spa. I am a SAHM of 3 under 6yr old && they truly pampered me!! Sophie is just the cutest!!! Ms Kim is a very experienced LMT and nailed everything I asked for and more! My nail tech, I forgot her name 🤦🏼‍♀️ Was very good and took her time perfecting everything detail. She got the caluses off my feet like not other pedicure I’ve ever had before and my feet didn’t hurt after which is a huge bonus!!! I had never had a facial before and Ms Ray make me super comfortable and I enjoyed it! If I ever (& I will) get a day spa treatment again I will 100000% choose this place again, In a heart beat. Everyone was in such high spirits it’s impossible to have a bad experience. They checked with me to make sure I was always comfortable and included lunch in the day spa package! If you are looking, look no further!! This is the place to go!!! Thank you ladies again for the best pampering day of my entire 30yrs! You rock!

Amazing Swedish Massage by Mercy! She is very attentive to my area of hip tightness . I’m pain free after her massage for first time in months ! She is absolutely great in her work with clients !Next I had a relaxing facial with Suzanna that was simply heavenly ! She made my visit so very special that day . Thank youOn arriving Larry greeted warmly making me feel at home !!It’s a great place that I’m coming back to !!

The best Day Spa in Pensacola. Make an appointment as soon as you can because they fill up fast. Kim has 27 years of massage therapist experience and it shows. She is incredibly skilled and the best in town maybe in the entire gulf coast. From massage to lashes to facials, hair etc…. You will not be disappointed.

I had a massage here and it was absolutely amazing. This place is super clean, that staff was so friendly. They have an amazing relaxation spot for you to wait for your appt. I did not book any other appts but I will be back they have so many services!

This Spa was incredible and the services offered go from full hair to massage, facials, nails, waxing, and more. I was offered water or coffee and taken to a waiting room that was completely a ZEN room. Staff treated me with kindness and was helpful in anything I needed. It was nice to have staff members ask me what I need vice being told to sign in and sit down like many other places tell you to do. One Stop Shop. I will go again for another facial and I will buy gift certificates for family and friends.

Sandra is my hairdresser and she is absolutely wonderful! She is a joy to be around! She is my go to person for anything involving my hair, she did my hair for my wedding and it was stunning! I come to her every month for color and cutting and she works around my schedule. If you need a hair stylist, look no further, Sandra is here for all of your hair needs! She always makes my day when I come to see her!

Chantea did an AMAZING job with my hair! I was very nervous about going so bold with this red after being a natural brunette my whole life! She was very honest and upfront about the processes, the cost, and the outcome. Not to mention... That beautiful building! Youve got to see that feature wall in the lounge area!

I went with my wife and friend. We each received a massage and facial, and to sum it up, we LOVE it here!! We will definitely be coming back. Id love to try the pedicure here too. The people are amazing and genuinely care about the service theyre providing.

Today was my 1st visit to the spa. Kim and Larry were welcoming and friendly. My visit to the spa was a gift from my husband. A massage, mani, and pedi were booked, but due to me having previously gotten my nails done with gel a week ago, Kim easily accommodated. She offered me a facial instead that I ended up falling asleep to. Great service and beautiful atmosphere! --Wendy

This place is amazing! Everyone was incredibly nice and made us feel comfortable and at ease. My two friends and I all got facials and massages. Kimberly was our massage therapist and did a phenomenal job. Best massage I’ve ever had, hands down. She was so nice and went out of her way to make sure there was food for us to snack on in between services. Chelsea did our facials and she also is amazing. She walked me through what she was doing while she was doing it, and really made me feel at ease during the facial. The spa is also very clean and well decorated. Definitely will be coming back for any future spa needs!

Mercedes was amazing, she hit all the right spots. It was just the right amount of pressure. I went in with a headache and left feeling relaxed and calm. If youre going to treat yourself this is a must. Staff was kind sweet and patient. Southern hospitality to the max. Great find

Sophie’s Day Spa was the retreat I didn’t know I needed. Kimberly was my massage therapist and it was the very best massage I’ve ever had. She and her husband and Sophie (the spa’s namesake) were all incredibly welcoming. The spa is beautiful with several different areas to make yourself at home and relax. I will definitely be going back for another massage and can’t wait to try their other services. The spa was clean and fresh, the staff members were friendly and professional, and little Sophie was too precious. It was dark outside when I left and they took the time to make sure that I got to my car safely. If a spa could receive a Michelin Star, Sophie’s would have many.

It was my first ever time getting a massage, my fiance recommended me to get one with her and I was blown away, the atmosphere was amazing and the massage therapists know exactly what they are doing, after it’s finished it’s so relaxing and you never want to leave lol I cannot recommend enough, if you’re thinking about getting one, GET ONE , I never write reviews but it’s so good I had to write one !!

Severe Sciatic pain had me in a bad way. I could not put on a pair of socks much less carry on with any type of physical work or activity. I scheduled an appointment with Kim at sophies for a massage. Instant relief!! I am so thankful! I would recommend a visit to Sophies to all of my friends!!

I love this place! I have been seeing Kim for massage for almost a decade. Now that the business has expanded to include nails and esthetics it is my one stop shop. Highly recommend! Ava and Rae do a great job for nails and facials.

This place is amazing, and speaking from someone who works in the industry (hairstylist) i absolutely loved being here. For starters the owners and each employee were beyond kind and welcoming from the very moment we came in. I stopped by with my friend for a pedicure and we were lucky enough to have Lauren, she was AWESOME. Attentive to detail, down to earth, and a wonderful+relaxing personality. I felt completely taken care of. Not to mention while I was waiting for my friends pedicure to finish I was able to sit back in the relaxation room that had a wide range of refreshments and snacks stocked for the clients. To top it off the hospitality was superb, having the owner walk by to check if I needed anything really let me know they are hands on involved here, and that was so refreshing to see. If you are in the area, i highly recommend, if i lived here i would be a regular, and i know when i return again for work, this will be one of my stops along the way.

Chantea has been my hairdresser for over 10 years and I am always extremely satisfied with the personal attention and care she gives at each hair appointment. I trust her service completely and rely on her experience and knowledge to give an excellent cut and color! Her room at Sophie’s Day Spa is a very comfortable and cozy space.

LOVE this spa! Ive been getting massages from Kim for the past few months, and shes so professional and friendly. She takes time to listen to my concerns and pains and does a great job targeting my specific needs each session.Also, if you want a facial, ask for Chelsea! My face is scarred and marked from years of skin picking and acne, and I felt absolutely no judgment from her, just genuine care and concern. She even offered me some great advice to help with questions I had about skin care.Side Note: Im about 400 pounds, and Ive never sensed even a shred of judgment from them about my size. They treat me just like anyone else. If youve ever wanted a massage but decided not to for fear of judgment about your weight, then come here! Youll be in great hands--literally! Lol

I cant say enough great things and Kim, Larry, Sophie and my spa experience. I had a 2 hour massage which was fabulous and I also had a manicure. Im very sad that I dont live in Pensacola because I would go all the time. The service, conversations, the ambiance...everything was perfect, classy, and topnotch!

I think I met Kim about 3 years ago give or take. From the moment I walked in the salon, it was so inviting, relaxing & cozy. I’ve seen the owner Kim on many occasions over the years. I consider her a friend now. She’s always upbeat, positive, so sweet, & makes you feel so comfortable. And her massages are the best I’ve ever had. I have dealt with back pain off & on for about 15 yrs & I never leave in pain anymore. I can’t say enough good things about Kim. I won’t go see anyone else. I will be a client for life. I have been Chanteas client for years and she has always done a fantastic job with my perm and cut! I never leave disappointed! Shes a great hairstylist!

I had a 90 min hot stone with Laniese.The Good: She was easy to work with over the phone . Since I had never had a hot stone massage before, she was great about walking me through the process and she also made sure the stones were at a comfortable heat. Pressure was also great!The Bad: Laniese was friendly, but it was to the point where she talked through the entire massage. I dont mind a little convo here and there, but the level of conversation prevented the massage from being relaxing. (I tried to limit my responses to give the hint that I didnt want to talk.) At the end of the massage, she did the usual rest for a couple minutes, then take your time to get up. Except while I was in the rest phase she cleaned up the stones and all of her equipment, making a ton of noise.Overall, good pressure, nice place, but not relaxing on this specific experience.

A few months ago I was here for a prenatal massage by Laniese Smith. It was amazing. Located off of N Davis and a little business strip area. Lanier was very nice and took the time to address my most achy areas which was my feet from being on my feet 13+ hours. The massage room was very nice - aromatherapy and dimly lit. She positioned me accordingly and worked my muscles really well. It lasted exactly 1 hour. Received this massage at a discount from Groupon. Would recommend her for a prenatal massage.
