This room is fantastic!..... sorry that was the roaches I share the room with. Gotta be careful with them cause theyre so plentiful. Ive asked them to chill in the laundry room since it doubles as a storage room but maybe cause the elevator doesnt work. Id let them watch TV but that doesnt work either. I wanted to ask front desk to chill with them but theres no phone even to front desk in case of emergencies. I guess were gonna haft to chill alone until I find new home home. Oh haaaayyyyy new roach whats up
I used the washer and dryer and did a small load. The clothes were still wet. Had to be wrung out and dried longer. Front desk clerk was very helpful. I told front desk I was going to be late checking out because of wet clothes. I informed desk clerk but housekeeping would not leave me alone. Thankfully asked them to leave a towel so I could shower. The towels were ragged and worn. You need a better housekeeping staff. Drawers were dirty.Trash and dirt under bed and air conditioner. It could have been so much better...I know. I have managed and did housekeeping for hotels in St Augustine. I heard that OYO was a dive but the price was cheap. It doesnt take much to make a room clean. But it was memorable dirty.
The room was past worn out, towels in bathroom were old and dirty they were so bad I never showered because of them. The whole room need a good cleaning, furniture was sticky. The whole experience was terrible. I had been traveling for 19 hours and that exhaustion force me to stay in the horrible room.
We stayed for the nights of Friday May 23rd - Sunday morning checkout. The first room we were given was absolutely disgusting! I’d much rather have slept in a dumpster with a used mattress. The floor was sticky and damp as if the floor had been mopped, but upon inspection, we believe there was a leak. The floor was also gritty and there was grout on the floor. We tested the floor and it left a black residue. Also roach on the bathtub and it crawled into the wall.We were guided to a replacement room and it was also dirty, the floors were dirty and there was a used cigarette butt stuff into the AC Unit. 10/10 do not recommend this establishment and spend the money to get a better hotel.We got a mop and diluted bleach to clean the bedroom before we got comfy.
They advertise clean affordable rooms. But considering every time I called they quoted me a different price for one night for one person there is no set price I think its based on how much money they think they can get out of someone yes taxes and all that crap aside dont waste your time with these people because you definitely will be wasting your money
These people are greedy and rude! I have special needs (handicapped) and the room, if it had any adaptive equipment at all, was at the bare minimum. They banned me because the room smelled of urine after I stayed there. That’s fine, I won’t ever stay there again! Way to go morons. Do NOT stay here! Camping in your car is almost preferable!
Disappointing Stay at OYO Motel - Unsafe and Unwelcoming!I recently booked a stay at an OYO Motel through Hotwire, and it turned out to be a complete letdown from the get-go. Arriving at 7:24 PM, which is hardly what Id call late, I was shocked to find that I couldnt even enter the lobby. The attendant insisted it was night time and made me communicate through a tiny speaking hole in a plate glass, which he barely approached, making it impossible to hear him properly.Things didn’t get better once I entered my room. I immediately noticed how dangerously slippery the floor was; I was literally skating across the room, struggling to keep my balance. Safety seems to be a low priority here.Moreover, the bathroom greeted me with a gaping hole in the wall, which is absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention, I booked this room planning to sleep during the day as I work night shifts, and the discomfort and safety hazards have made it impossible to rest.Overall, this experience was far from what one would expect from any motel, let alone an OYO. Between the lack of basic hospitality and the poor room conditions, I would strongly recommend avoiding this motel. There are plenty of other places that actually value their guests and maintain safe, clean facilities. OYO Motel, this was a fail!
Over all rooms are great,weve been here for awhile now,the occasional roach unfortunately,but the rooms are clean,working fridges and microwaves,and staff are extremely helpful and always work with the customer.
DO NOT STAY HERE! The rooms are beyond filthy, FULL of black mold, the towels have hair in them and are so grungy Id be surprised if they use more than just water to wash them. (I wish I could figure out how to post pictures to this review because I took several.. if I figure it out later I will update the review and post them.) The bathtub had a layer of, what appeared to be paint inside of it. Probably bc it was so dirty, painting it white wouldve been their idea of a fix, rather than actually using any type of cleaning solution, which I firmly believe they do not own a drop of. I cleaned it several times before I was able to stand in it for a shower and even then I wore my flip flops as shower shoes. While trying to clean and disinfect the sink area, I guess a drop of water must have over sprayed and hit the outlet in the wall next to me, bc it started sparking and making a loud popping sound and I thought for sure it was going to catch fire. This went on for about 10 minutes before finally tripping the breaker and we lost all power to our room. I agree with the other girl ,this place should be condemned.The Jamaican Woman who works third shift, who moved us to another room, is the ONLY positive thing I can say about this hotel. Oh and the other woman with short hair who works the morning. Both are very kind, and treat every guest with respect.The rest of the staff, however are rude and majority of them speak very little English, if any at all. They start banging loudly on your door, starting at 9-9:30 a.m. but keep walking to bang on other doors so when you answer your door, no one is there. And then another housekeeper does the same, this goes on over and over about every 10-20 minutes until 10:59, then they stop knocking and just let themselves in unannounced, and if youre like me, and travel with almost everything you own (lol) , , then youre probably still toting things to your car at that time, so its quite startling to say the least.Cockroaches, fruitflies , biting flies, and fleas were just some of the bugs included in our room. man that checked us in was so unwelcoming, and clearly hates his job and I would even go so far as to say he generally doesnt like people and enjoys treating his guests with the utmost disrespect. And when hes not bothered by guests, he sits in a chair and stares obsessively at the security camera footage and nothing else. Just dont stay here. And definitely dont if you have kids. There are drug deals and other nefarious activities taking place right out in the open. The police frequently drive through the parking lot. There are several hotels in Pensacola. Its well worth the extra $ to stay somewhere else so youre not risking your health or your safety . Something really needs to be done about this place.
Room floor was dirty, cigarette burns on blankets and sheets! The air conditioner clicked on and off not blowing cold air, the refrigerator was leaking into the floor so I went to the office to request a room change today-and was told we couldnt change rooms they would send maintenance-he said he could bring a towel for the fridge and unplugged the air and plugged it back in.
This place is a trap do not go. Its not worth saving money. Our room was so gross that I took a napkin and wiped the floor with it and it was black. Told the front desk they changed our room. Checked that room same thing happened. So I asked can you just give me a mop and some cleaner and I will clean this room. So I did. Everytime we left the room we took everything with us because we felt like they were coming into out room when we left. I found cigarette butt in the air conditioner unit inside the room. There was wiring exposed in every light in the room. Holes in the walls and a random door anyone could come through. This place should be condemned.
Stayed here for two days the first room we walked into had piss all over the seat. Sand and dirt all over the floor. Literally disgusting. Asked for another room was givin one. Hot water handle and cold handle are swapped. So if u want a hot shower and nothing comes try the cold one. The next morning I was woken up by their staff at 9:45 when check out is at 11. By banging on my door like the police reminding me that check outs at 11. I then was woken up the next morning to the same behavior banging on my door as hard as they could hit the thing my self and my sister both screamed at them to leave us alone. THEY THEN OPENED OUR DOOR. Luckily we had the dead bolt shut but that is absolutely the cake topper and absolutely unprofessional seeing that I still had an hr and 15 to check out. Worst hotel ive ever been too and the rooms literally smell like wet dog. Don’t recommend.
Gentleman at front desk was not very friendly & seemed bothered by us (we checked in around 9pm). Room was not clean and bathroom was in need of a complete renovation. The toilet wobbled, there were bugs on the floor, and their was mold on the ceiling.
I have stayed at the Oyo off and on over the past year. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. Yes, its an old hotel, but they do a GREAT job keeping up with maintenance and any other physical need. Its a perfect location, if youre on foot, to Dollar General, Circle K and many fast food places. Awesome Job Team Oyo! Always a pleasure.
This is in a bad section of town. Druggies walking around in the grass, rooms are in horrible shape. Didnt even take a shower due to the grossness. Some sort of white powder on the bathroom walls. I think some sort of mold around the tub. Floors were sticky with something i do not want to know about, holes in ceiling. The beds were however quite comfortable. Staff was very nice, but owner needs to fix the rooms up correctly.

Very decent place to stay for the price, everything was clean and I didnt see any bugs or rodents, its been 2 days sooo no bedbug bites or anything of that nature. Ill be staying here again when visiting family 😊
Absolutely a nightmare staying there, they charged myocardial twice for room, took over a week arguing with them, credit card company finally got money refunded. Very nasty place and extremely rude workers.. Will never ever stay there again!
No hot water .. no ac . The only lights that worked were the bathroom lights. De probable conditions . Asked for a different room . They told me there is no difference in the rooms.Also felt in safe. Btw did not stay .
This hotel is absolutely disgusting. I booked a room through Priceline and was absolutely appalled by the condition, left over bodily fluids, bathroom and bending. Im going to attach pictures to this so you can see. I was told I would be refunded by the front clerk, and then Priceline told me I wouldnt be receiving the refund. Do not stay here, it is the most disgusting location I have ever seen.
Worse Hotel experience I ever had roaches everywhere I had to jump up and shake the covers off because a roach was crawling in the bed , You need safety gear to take a shower because instead of getting a new tub or getting the old one properly done they painted the MF tub making the bottom extra slick so taking a shower was like walking on a tightrope for the first time… I think they may have some ok rooms in certain sections but they have more horrible rooms after seeing all the roaches and the conditions over all I said never again, Your days are numbered Oyo
Bad experience when it comes to checking out. The housekeeping starts knocking my room around 9:00 a.m. The check out is 11, about 9.00 a.m knocking my door to come clean the room. That was the horrible time I experienced
Do not stay here. Rooms is disgusting, floor is dirty, sheets are dirty, towels are old and dirty. The restroom is disgusting. I was trying to sleep when a guy walk in to replace a fridge. I couldnt stayed here for more then 1 night, I left the next day, and I booked for 3 nights
The room had roaches in the TV didnt work there hooked in the wall. The bed sheets had paint on them and the towels were brown. It was very disappointing worst room I have ever been in. I immediately checked out and they didnt want to give me my money back.
Made a reservation with my two friends, went to check-in room had mold, cabinets were falling off, overall the room was already nasty and just non livable. Only had been there for five minutes until the guy from the front desk busted in our room, my friends ex husband went to help us put our bags in our room (he also had their kids with them), when he came in cussing at me and my friends (cussing in front of the children and getting aggressive) to get out saying I lied about how many guest were staying there, when he was simply was just helping us unload our bags and for her to see her kids! The man was very disrespectful and nasty, had to argue with him to let us get our bags out of the room, and also wouldnt refund us and told us to get off the property and to not come back! Had to call customer support they were also not helpful, spent all that money just to be there for 5 minutes and he also marked as a no show and cancelled our reservation we then had to figure out how to get another room at another hotel after we got our money stolen. THIS IS A TERRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT AND DO NOT RECOMMEND BOOKING, I WOULDNT BOOK HERE EVEN IF I WAS HOMELESS!!!

Mold,dirty bedding,the bathroom was not clean i could go on and on. the guy at the front desk was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! we checked in 3 guests and had a friend come to bring our suitcases in another car, he was not staying. The guy from the front office came to the room and started cussing us out yelling for us to leave now. Didn’t even want us to get our stuff. Once we went back up front for a refund he wouldn’t even give it to us and continued cursing us out (we had children with us also) BEWARE BEFORE CONSIDERING STAYING AT THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET IT!
This place was completely horrid they don’t clean I had to move rooms 4 times bec of it not being clean and the roaches are out of control they don’t sweep or mop there floors didn’t wipe the tables off or anything it was foul I had to clean my own room and I showed them what I swept up there cleaners do nothing at all!!! I have recently been staying at this hotel and I have enjoyed my stay at the affordable rate and I have gotten one of the better rooms so my review will be different from others cause I enjoy staying there
The customer service communication is horrible. The guy at the front counter is borderline disrespectful and obviously does not care about his job. But the room is somewhat clean The TV kinda worksclean bed sheets so thats a plus for $65 you get what you get. This is my first time staying at the OYO. So this is what I can expect over time I wont I wont return just being honest
The hotel stays and services have been great. The only issue I had was the renovations. I have been working late hours, so the renovations in the morning have been inconvenient.
The worst OYO I’ve stayed in and I paid too much for what shouldn’t be more than $60. Just needed somewhere to be til morning when my car was done being worked on.
Room is lovely but pillow does need to be replaced. The service here was wonderful that is for sure.
Can you say EWEEE!! The OYO hotel is more of a dirty and run down motel probably run by a slum lord. There was black mold in the bathroom, and I suspected it was all throughout the entire room. The shower walls were dirty as well as the dressing mirror and other surfaces. You could see the handprints. I have pictures but cant figure out how to post.The night clerk was nice but lacked motivation and did not communicate without a distinct tude!! The parking lot was very dark and did not feel safe.However, the bed was relatively comfortable. What I didnt like the most was the inconsiderate staff who knocked on all the doors waking guests up for no apparent reason at 8:45AM when checkout was at 11AM. Then housekeeping came knocking at 10:55AM - although the maid could see me through the window acknowledging her that I was on my way out, she stood at the window staring me down to get out. I guess at $45/night I got what I paid for.

This place is the ultimate scam. Their pictures are not what you get. The rooms are disgusting. Mold, open wires, flood bottom doors, unpainted patched walls, large gaps in the front door, beat up furniture, uncovered wall outlets - there is even a sign in the reception area stating an hourly rate...to quote many of the reviews Id give 0 or a minus but its not available.Their response is a joke. Just the fact they ask for the location shows its a form response.

From ceilings falling down to duplicitous offerings on their app, to no hot water and people knocking on doors at 9:00am when check out is at 11am. Room was dirty shower needed to be replaced and there were nothing to wash with glad I brought my own. Hair was on the floor in the bathroom but it was 2 am when I checked In and asked for a late check out and she told me for an hour it was 20$ I think and only gave me .79 cent back on the booking

Check-in was fast and easy by booking online in advance,not to mention saved me over $25 !! Clerk on duty at time was patient & friendly.I had failed to complete some detail information on line as far as number of occupants & smoking instead of non smoking. He explained all of this for future reference & corrected everything for me step by step w out getting frustrated or inpatient. Greatly appreciated when I was already having a bad day .Thank you.
I called to book the room the lady was very nice and I explained to her I would be traveling with my 11 yr old son and we would be there around 2-3am and wanted to make sure we would be able to check in. She stated it wouldnt be a problem and someone would be there to give me a key card and greet us upon arrival if I went ahead and paid up front instead of paying at the property so I did. Once we got there at 223am they then told me I could not check in and there was nothing they could do about it so I had to spend another 115$ at another hotel at 3am just so my son would have somewhere to sleep. The woman knew exactly what she was doing g when I booked the room bc when I called about a refund their exact words were well we can do that but itll take weeks for you to get your money back so you might as well not cancel and just check in at 3pm. I will NEVER rent another room from these people or be scammed out of my money again. The rooms were filthy! Dope heads every where you look.. Walking to the room that evening to check in you could see roaches crawling everywhere outside so i was afraid to take our bags in. Not only did we waste our time but I had to spend money that was not in the budget just to rent another hotel room. These people are as sorry as they come. Dont waste your time.

10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. The man when I checked in was on the phone the entire time when I was there checking in. He was not more concerned about the phone call the whole 10 min then he was about me being a guest. it was hair all over the room when we checked in. The towels looked like they werent washed. (I had to purchase towels) because there was no way I was drying off with those. The knob to the hot water was broken. The water in the shower barely trickled out, but the sink had excellent water pressure. So that tells me it was a leak in the shower somewhere.the microwave didnt work properly.the parking lot was absolutely horrible. Trash was all over the place. There was also a creepy guy who kept walking around.this is my hometown I was born and raised here, so I visit often because I love the beach. But honestly Id rather stay on Cervantes in one of those hotels then ever to stay at this one again. Especially for 186 for 2 nights. Definitely not worth the money.
If you are about to stay here. Don’t do it. Beds were not clean. Blood on pillows, unknown stains on sheets, mold in bathroom had the ceiling falling and dripping. Doors all look like they were kicked in at some time so I question security and Safty of my family. Tv looked like it was burnt along with not set up at all. I barely slept here at all. Spent most my night awake watching over my family.
Its an real old building, needs lots of repairs. Some of the people that stay and hang around are a bit questionable. The smell of marijuana seems to be everywhere. But overall it was a pleasant stay. The people at the front desk were nice and helpful. And its only 25 minutes from the beach.
The floors are not swept. The a/c has mildew in it. You can tell the door has been kicked in before. The floors are coming up. The mirrors are dirty. There are cigarettes burns on the sheets. The drawers are falling apart. There is no microwave. In the reviews on the photos from the owner in the Google review has a pool in it there is blood or paint in the peep hole. The The workers were very rude. When we asked for a microwave he told us that some of the rooms have a microwave and some of them don’t I reserved a non-smoking room and I got a smoking room. And there is mold in the bathroom. Also, they swept dirt from the top balcony onto My vehicle.
Aweful. Smelled of weed. Dirty. There was a door to the room beside us not privacy. I booked in hopper. Followed hoppers instructions and the man at the front desk was rude. Refused a refund. The rooms are nothing as advertised. I can assure you I’ve never been in a hotel that ran extension cords. I reported immediately to the hotel. I was told contact hopper. It was almost a 4 hour process of run around. I did not stay and lost my money. Do not stay there. I have pictures of the dirty room the door going to the room next door the nasty tub. Do yourself a favor find another hotel.
Not clean * roaches * no water *bed is way too softOver night there was no water and we saw a roach. Dont think they clean this place! Went to get a shower and noticed that someone elses bar of soap, used wash cloth, and short curly hairs are still in there. The towels had black fuzzies all over them so I opted to use a wash cloth to dry off with.When we arrived there was painters tape covering the door locks. After peeling that off and we went inside we checked the beds. First we noticed a hole in the comforter, no biggie. I folded back the blankets and there were multiple black specks and fuzzies. The floor definitely needs a really good cleaning. Im truly unsure if ANYTHING has been cleaned.The microwave is missing the tray that food sits on and the fridge leaks and isnt very cold.Overall, I would not recommend this place. Unless youre homeless and anything would be better than nothing, look elsewhere!!!
First small roaches everywhere in the microwave and The bathroom some was on the bed and it was loud and wifi is trouble the service doesnt even pick up towels and everyone is nosey and smokes everywhere it dirty in the room and Everywhere else...even if it cheap it a bad hotel🤮

This is not a high end hotel, but if you are looking for a clean comfortable place to stay at a low cost then this is your place. They were really friendly. The toilet was not working properly when we arrived and within 30 minutes of reporting the issue they had it fixed. The room was very clean and the beds slept great. Where to start, I checked in early afternoon and the first red flag was the fact that you had to go to a security window instead of a lobby desk and the guy behind the window was like a robot with no personality. When I got to my room the depression set in because it was disgusting. The walls are painted a dark gray like a dungeon or something and the lighting was dim and I would say for good reason. The bed was out of shape and when I layed down I immediately rolled to the middle. The bathroom was especially disgusting with black mold and not clean at all, luckily I carry my own cleaning supplies. I was just in Pensacola to fish for the weekend and booked through Expedia and theres no refunds so I was stuck. I stayed gone except when sleeping and will never go back to that crack motel and thats exactly what it is.
Room was very dirty. Dirty wash clothes hanging on shower rod from people before us. Roach bugs,bed very uncomfortable. Even though we were given a wifi password 🙄 we could not get wifi. Water in shower would not regulate kept going from hot to cold during shower 😩 😫 🙃.

Guy at the front desk who checked me in banged on my door bc i had a guest in my room plus an extra child. I told him they were guests not staying the night. He banged on my door extremely hard and woukdnt stop just to tell me i didnt tell him i had a gentleman with me. Extremely rude and threatened the manager. This morning at 830 a worker knocked i told them no service checkout. They opened my door anyways while my kids and i were undressed. Would give better stars bc rooms are cleaner than last time but i wouldnt stay here again. Poor attitudes from customer service. I was extremely nice and he did not let up. 😆 and he told me my kids couldnt run around outside with me while i carried items inside. Not a kid friendly hotel... Not a friendly hotel period tbh unless they get a new desk clerk or his attitide improves find a diff hotel.

New slogan, welcome to oyo hotel where you can choose to spend a night or a few nights in hell!! Do you want a smoking or a non smoking room? IT DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE THE NON-SMOKING IS FULL OF SMOKE TOO! My husband and I were doing a road trip and stopped for a night! I could not wait until morning to check out! The floor looks like it has never seen a mop. The towels were brown, the locks on the door were broken, the gap between the door and outside was so wide I might as well be sleeping outside. It was a mess! The couch looks like someone took it out of a dump, the lamp has more rust and dust that abandoned rail road tracks. This is nit even a motel and to think they charge $80.00 per night. Even if I was into cockroaches I wouldnt eat one running around that place. Wish I could show pictures, but odd enough Its not allowed. I was really hoping I could show you the dancing shower nozzle!

Dirty room. Sheets had holes in them.. place smelled like mold.. ended up just getting an airbnb… oh also this “hotel” gave us a number to call for a refund… the number ended up being a disconnected number… now our calls are being ignored. How can this place remain open?
Since you ASKED for a review, let me lay it on you. The night managers kindness was the ONLY good thing about this hotel. There was literally a hole in the middle of the mattress, no lock on the door, the smoke alarm didnt work, no TV or wifi was connected, sheets were dirty and so was the bath tub, and they had roaches! The day manager was rude and didnt want to stop talking to all her buddies long enough to even take my room keys and acted like I was a child interrupting the adults talking when I said I needed to check out. If I could give this zero stars I would. Definitely not worth the $80.
Place had roaches crawling all thru the microwave big guy up front had my work shirt disappear. He also watched me pay for a room online and then refused me service. Sleeping in your car would be BETTER. Get someone with a personality, guy up front is very RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. Not sure how this place hasnt been shut down by the country
0 stars I probably now have mersa from this place so dirty bugs everywhere black mold fridge didnt work busted tv,,, door so UNSAFE STAYED UP ALL NIGHT. Dont stay here.
This place was deplorable, if i could rate it zero stars i definitely would. when we pulled up we were told to wait before getting checked in while the Clerk finished smoking inside the building, at that point i should have left but it was non-refundable booked on Expedia. when we walked in the room the roof was collapsing, the pillows had stains, personal items left from previous guest. the bathroom was APPALLING, no toilet paper, towels and wash rags filthy and we had to place a towel down to stand in the bathtub to bathe it was so disgusting. to top it off there was roaches in the fridge and crawling in room. we had to cut our vacation short because me and my kids were to disgusted to stay another night. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Would probably give zero stars if possible. The first bad thing that happened was upon entering the room. I went to the restroom and there was a roach crawling up the wall. It wasnt the last one we saw. There was a sign on the door to the office that stated no pets however the people staying in room 201, who were there when we arrived and still there when we left, had a dog. Not to mention constantly smelling marijuana.
Front desk ladies (3 of them) are WONDERFUL & CONSIDERATE. Now the housekeepers arent to friendly. Beefing on doors after payment. Been here 2 weeks and they havent offered to change bed sheets. I give them them dirty towels and wash cloths but STILL havent given me new ones. ALWAYS have to go up front to get clean ones. I even bought a broom to sweep my room since housekeeping dont offer. Only motel Ive ever stayed at that the housekeepers dont offer to clean the rooms, EVER. Besides that, rooms are the cheapest in town, not the prettiest but you get what you pay for I guess
It was the terrible experience. Hotel staff does not allow customer to come inside office. Instead they communicate through windows so people have to stand outside waiting for their response. When I checked in, room locker was not working properly. Even it was slightly open. So I complained and asked to change room. Staff lady said it is full booking and suggested to cancel if I want. I agreed on it.. But since then, refund process is a long and terrible journey. She wanted me to contact to internet agency that I made reservation for refund. And she printed me one page of paper writing a customer care no on it. That no was not responses. That paper was nothing but that hotel would not refund which I found later. Since then, I had to spend 4 hours on calling with agency asking refund. Agency told me every time they talked to hotel, hotel denied refund and cancellation. Rather hotel insisted that I checked in and out by myself. Finally booking.com decided to issue refund regardless of hotels denial. Absolutely this hotel gave me a worst experience in my life. I never write this kind of review. But I have to do because I hope no more victim happens like me.
We checked in 7/21/21 to room 350 and had to leave due to the condition of the room. Yes the hotel is older and you get what you pay for but this was unacceptable. First, the trash can in the sink area was full of dirty diapers. Second, we moved the trash can to under the sink only to discover the floor underneath was stained with fresh blood and matted hair. And when I say it was fresh blood it was still wet. Third, while minor, there was still multiple sets of keys from past guest on the table in plane sight, further indicating the room was poorly cleaned. The only decent thing was that the bed was made and appeared cleaned.
This Hotel has been good to me. The management and front desk for over a year now. They give me a clear room and great rates. They always treat me with kindness and they give me great discounts. I would have kept the 5 star rating, but your housekeepers shouldnt be banging on my door at 9am asking me if Im checking out. Or telling me its time to get up! Especially if I paid for numerous days and hundreds of dollars. Its RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!
It wouldn’t let me choose zero stars. I would never stay here if I were you. I actually didn’t even stay at this hotel. The moment I checked in I had a terrible feeling. My boyfriend works in pest control so naturally I had him check for bugs. There was so many cockroaches, bed bugs, holes in the actual bed itself, the door wouldn’t lock . It was disgusting. I was not about to have my 3 year old stay in that. The front desk lady was super rude when I tried to tell her what was going on and she tried to fight me because of it. They wouldn’t give me a refund because I was there for over an hour but I refused to stay there. My boyfriend actually called the health inspector on them because it was so bad. It’s definitely not worth anything. The place needs to be shut down immediately.
This hotel is a gem. The rooms are out of dates, but u can tell they are working on them, the beds were cozy and CLEAN AS WAS THE WHOLE ROOM. Because of my sons immune system compromised I brought one of those blue light system that show what light cant, the room wS spotless, normally i wipe everything down but i felt i didnt have too. The atmosphere was cozy and extremely quite. I was nervous at first but the front desk clerk was so assuring and let me know they have cameras EVERYWHERE. THERE ALSO was a man who stayed there with her all night which for a single mom i appreciated that they cared for there employees which made me feel safe as well. I dont know why the other reviews were negative because I cant explain how wonderful it really is we stayed the weekend of the blue angels so it was all that we could find, my son who has autism has this goofy doll he keeps in prestine condition bc his grandpa gave it to him as a retired infantry nurse this was our very first vacation and he took goody with us so his grandpa who passed could be with us as his grandpa promised to take him to Disney before he got sick in January in the rush of getting on the road I realized we forgot his goofy on the bed the manager searched all day for his doll and found it I know its little but the gesture was a life saver bc thats all he has of his grandpa. As for the hotel please do not judge a book by its cover the owners bought this hotel and was left with alot to fix up and they are working on it honestly as long as its clean and safe and they care about your service thats all you should look for we stayed in a resort the night before and the bed had bed. Bugs so we had to leave thats pure proof that what looks good on the outside isnt really good. We are definitely planning on going back before the summer end and I definitely will be spending our last vacation of 2022 here this experience changed my whole view on humanity for the price I honestly didnt expect a clean room and VIP SERVICE which is what we got!
Zero stars if possible. Dirty room, rusted fridge that makes a high pitched sound all night, dirty bathroom with terrible tiling, leaky tub, and there was a huge hole in the wall. Long womens hair in the sheets and on towels. And shady, trashy people hanging around outside. I originally booked for 4 nights and immediately canceled and stayed elsewhere.
Extremely dirty- poor living condition. Looked like squatter central. The lady stole 168$ from me and gave me all the wrong information to try and get a refund. Extremely disappointed and this hotel oyo shouldnt be allowed to house people. Footprints in the tub. Dirty hangers dust and spider webs everywhere. Used towels and hand towels. Roaches and spiders in bed and floor. Puke stains on the floor. Super unsanitary. Walked in and smelt like absolute garbage. -10/10 Im pretty sure I wont get my refund. So I will be claiming fraud on the place and sending this in to the BBB. Pretty disgusted walking into the motel.
The audacity of ownership to look at these rooms and say to themselves, yeah, this looks like an $80/night room, is on the next level. This is, at best, a $40/night or pay by the hour joint.Nothing about this place would merit any positive feedback. If there were a Zero Star that’s what I would select. THE PICTURES ON THEIR ADD ARE FAKE!!!!!!! The NASTIEST motel room I have seen in the world.. we decided to go with this due to the availability (paid over 100 for each night) I regretted it as soon as I opened the door. It said no smoking but it smelled like a smokers room. There was mold everywhere including the lamp shades. The ceiling in the restroom was falling apart. There were large and baby roaches everywhere. There was trash from the last tenants, the bed had bed bugs. I woke up with a bunch of bites from my neck down. The sheets were nasty and the bed smelled bad. I asked for a refund but they wanted to be mad because I had my SERVICE DOGS, I felt discriminated so they only gave me a partial refund. I am still disputing it with Expedia to see if I can get a full refund for the extra 2 days that I had to cancel.
Room was infested with roaches. The drywall was cracked all over the ceiling. And the refrigerator has roaches in it as well.
Checked in here 6/26/22......Black mold on ceiling, ceiling falling in. Water running through the plug. Just awful. So went back and told front desk I could not stay in the Filth. I asked for a refund. It has been 10 days still havent received my refund. Then yesterday (7/6/22) I called back to ask why I have not received refunding! Finally got on phone with someone from New York who issued an email saying I would receive my refund within 7-14 business days. This place needs to be inspected and closed down. Black mold will make you terrible sick!
There is NO pool. The rooms are rough. But the main thing is them not being properly cleaned between guest. Previous guest things still in room. No actual sheet to sleep on. We were provided 2 towels on a 6 night stay and our room was never serviced. Then after everything we were going to stay another weekend coming up, but the clerk didnt want to deal with us.

Absolutely disgusting. Found Mini cockroaches along the floor and AC unit. There’s no toilet paper (luckily I always carry a roll.) The door doesn’t have a dead bolt or a lock of any kind. There’s water damage along all the base trim and ceiling. Smelled like smoke, even though we asked for nonsmoking d/t asthma/allergies/children. Food found left over from previous occupant. Kids said they didn’t feel safe. NO REFUNDS if not cancelled before 24hrs policy; absolutely deplorable for $269.00 for one night stay.

They dont deserve 1 star. The room was filthy. the bed sheets were stained with blood and some other substance. We asked for new linen and was told by the clerk that she didnt have access to any. The tub has mildew and is dirty. The microwave had food spills in it. The racks that you have your on was beyond rusted and the sink to wash your face and brush your teeth had not been cleaned either. This is not a place for descent people to stay.
The room Could’ve been swept look like big bugs in the corner the tub could have something in it where it’s not so slippery and the maid needs not to knock on nobodies door at 9:30 AM check out isn’t until 11 so why is the maid knocking on the door at 9:30 AM ridiculous no microwave in the room you have to go to the lobby to use the microwave unacceptable no phone in the room to call the front desk unacceptable could’ve been better a lot better
This is not a luxury hotel, nor does it claim to be. However, my room was very clean and comfortable, and when I needed service the desk clerk interrupted his dinner to resolve my issue immediately. Well worth the very reasonable price in my opinion.

Upon arrival, I noticed the sheets were stained different colors of yellow and red, the room smelled like must. The sheets had holes in them. We had to go to Walmart to get different sheets and air freshener so we were able to sleep. I had put there was 4 guests in our reservation, which there was, the toiletries that were given were clearly not enough especially being that we were supposed to stay there 3 nights at that. We got one toilet paper roll, one towel, one bar of soap, and one body lotion for toiletries. We had to go to Walmart and also buy soap and general toiletries that should have been supplied. Along with that, the shower curtain was stained covered in blue dye and black at the bottom, there was already hairs in the bath tub. As we were heading out, I looked at the open rooms next to our rooms that were being cleaned, some had microwaves in it some didn’t, including ours. Multiple rooms at the upper level where we stayed didn’t have it, it was every other room. When I went back and checked our reservation, our room was supposed to have a microwave but didn’t, so I’m sure this was the problem with the other rooms. No room there including ours had an ironing board or iron, so that’s false advertisement. To complete our stay, we were harassed by housekeeping. Because we checked out early we were loading our car while they were cleaning and they kept asking us what we were doing, we told them checking out numerous times and then started speaking in their language. What bothered me was after speaking in their language, they addressed me and said “checkout was at 11, not 2.” I informed her that we were leaving a day early, she said that was fine. She told the crew that was with her we were leaving early yet they kept asking us; while we were packing one of the men that was part of the housekeeping crew stood outside the door saying “laundry” to us when we weren’t even loaded or packed yet because we had left the door open. Completely dissatisfied by this whole experience. To top it off, I called customer service and the representative didn’t help one bit because “I didn’t say anything in the moment” far as amenities. Services that I paid for, that are advertised, that should be provided, should not be asked for. They should be given without even having to address the issue. Stay far away as possible. 0/10 don’t recommend to anyone!
If this is your last resort then I suggest just sleeping in your car or truck. The place just feels filthy & unsanitary. The water pressure in my room was so bad that barely any water would come out. The sheets had holes in them & the bed felt like I had bugs crawling through my skin. I felt very uneasy and decided to pack my things and sleep in my car. I don’t know how people seem to sleep through the night here, it’s disgusting! Safe yourself some time & just lay a blanket in your backseat and sleep better there. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel even if it was last minute stay. It’s very rundown, needs a lot of maintenance. Stay away if you can!

This is not a place that would want to bring my family if I was very tired from road trip. I would literally drive somewhere else before I stay at this motel again and it was just me this time.
This place was pretty bad. Shower was all cracked and filthy and had mold. Roaches everywhere. Non smoking room reeked of smoke. Asked for a king got a double and pretty sure the beds were full size not queen. Wifi was terrible. Fridge would shut off while microwave was being used. Just bad. If you can afford better do yourself a favor and get better.
Listen if you have to , just sleep in your car. This place is horrible, the door looked like someone had tried to break in a few times before. The couch was disgusting and dirty,. Dirty as hell. The mattress looked like they got it from someones yard sale and had it for years. The TUB/SHOWER yeah lets talk about that. I wouldnt dare step my foot in that nasty mess. It had rust everywhere and the tub looked broke down and old. It was so nasty just standing in the room had me grossed out. I was so disgusted by the way it looked and smell. I swear to god I dont even know how they are still open. The whole place needs to be burnt down and rebuilt.
This place is horrible.. do not go! The first room they gave us, someone was living in and we walked in on them. The second room had fresh blood on the sheets. The 3rd and 4th rooms had cigarette butts, used soap hair and trash all over the floor, the bathrooms not cleaned only a flat sheet on the brown mattress. It was supposed to be a nonsmoker room. After much debate and hassle, and 3 days later I still havent gotten a refund and am still waiting! Avoid at all costs this place is a dive! Health inspector should be called in! I am putting one star because its the lowest you can rate.
Im only giving one star because there is no zero stars. My daughter grandson and I are passing through searching for a new home. I had been driving for two days and only wanted a good nights sleep. The biggest problem was the decades old king sized bed with a deep sinkhole in the center the size of two people. I spent all night holding onto the side of the bed trying to prevent myself from rolling over onto my grandson. This was the only room available . However the following morning I noticed that there were many rooms obviously not in use. Their website mentions cable TV and free wifi. No such thing exists. Towels were approximately 12 x 24. Not even large enough to wrap around a 4 year old and only 2. The shower only half turned on due to a bad, worn out faucet. The air conditioning leaked water across the floor which explains the need for the rubber like flooring. The 3 small pillows were exceptionally inadequate. And most impressive were the DIRTY SHEETS with mascara on them and leaves near the foot of the bed. The room was extraordinarily sparse with the only decoration of any kind being a very ugly floral print hung at an odd angle to hide the holes behind it and red and green painted walls. Im pretty sure the two mirrors were two way mirrors. The smoke detector showed no signs of activity as it had no lit lights indicating it worked. The only positive thing about the room was that the room itself was relatively clean. $79 a night for this place is excessive to say the least.
I give this hotel a 0000! Absolutely disgusting. We paid for our $95 room walked in and walked back out. We did not stay. We requested a refund and the clerk gave us a number to call but no luck reaching anyone. The sheets were not clean they had white all over. It smelt like mold. The walls looked like a child painted them. There were holes in the walls. I felt like I was in horror movie. There were 2 nasty looking chairs in the middle of no where when we walked in. DO NOT STAY!
I booked 2 rooms here at Palm Court Inn. I was very dissatisfied with the rooms. The air unit in one room didnt work upon entering. We had to call for maintenance. They had roaches and bed bugs in which I was bitten by the bed bugs. They did not want to issue my family and I a full refund after we caught the bed bugs, took and showed it to them. The manager was not on site(@11:30 pm but talked to via phone) and told us we would have to wait until the next morning to have the room inspected by someone in order to receive a refund. About 4/5 other guests complained and demanded full refunds. I wouldnt suggest this place to anyone. Worst experience EVERRRR. I dont even give them a 1 rating

The only reason my boyfriend and I stayed was because we were never in the hotel. But it was very difficult . Our bathroom ceiling was nothing but mold and was collapsing in. Shower barely worked, room was literally falling apart. But we are moving down to Pensacola so we had to endure due to all the other hotels being expensive.Were so I begin with our bad experiance .... number one I have a dog. When we travel I call ahead to ensure pets are allowed. I spoke with a man ahead of time who confirmed they did in deed accept dogs per their web page. After 3 days of staying at the hotel I received a phone call stating we had a dog and had to leave.... I stated i did in deed call and reminded the gentlemen of our conversation hoping to jog his memory but he denied ever talking to me but did still allow us to stay our last day.We will not be returning ever to this hotel its rated 2 stars , we stayed at a 1 star with no pool thats was better 5 minutes away.Did I mention we were originally sent to a room being worked on , then sent to another room were we werent even in for 15 minutes before the manager walked in on us....Def stay away from this hotel .

Stayed 4 nights, On the 3rd night blonde hair lady at front desk charged me $90 stated you know they went up right, checked in at 6pm next morning the owner charged me $80 again which means the front desk lady pocketed the money $10. There are roaches in the microwaves which is very disgusting the showers never operate properly not hot water the t.v are never programed you have to figure it out by yourself in the morning each employee knocks to see if you paid when you already paid very unorganized also wont even knock just come right in just disrespectful ceiling falling through holes in wall same prices other hotels better and cheaper will not be going back there.
The hotel I booked specifically said non smoking but when I entered the room it smelled of smoke and the burn holes in the blankets was a dead give away. The sheets were clean white but were not on the bed correctly exposing the brown stained mattress and pillows. Not to mention there were roaches in the fridge and microwave. I understand this was a crappy hotel to begin with but they have no business charging the rate they do per night. You can definitely find a cleaner safer place for the same price if not cheaper.
Terrible soon as I stepped in it smelled of mold. Had mold all over the bathroom itself. Shower curtain moldy and had burn holes all in it. Bed sheets seemed clean but still had burn holes. Just utterly nasty.
This is the $90 non smoking room I was in. Pretty poor condition, the pics cant show you the bad smell. Do not recommend this place. Other guests also complained and said how dirty their room was and they requested a refund as I should have. They refused to give them clean towels at the guest request.
This place is trash. Sheets on beds were dirty, cockroaches in the bathroom as well as stains all over the floor and bathtub/shower. Also the door doesn’t lock correctly! Only the chain locks not the actual door, someone could easily have broken. Absolutely disgusting and would never have paid this much if I’d known how gross it would be. I’d have been better off just sleeping in my car.
Room was nasty, was a stinky smoke smell even though I specially asked for nonsmoking. Signs of bugs, was poorly unkept! Looks like a 10 yr old tried to paint and caulk the bathroom! I requested a different room and was told they were full. I was tempted to try to go somewhere else but it was really late. Not as pictured!, room was run down, had to ask for a clean comforter and air freshener. Front desk gave me what I asked for and never offered to come take a look or move us. I told the older man at the desk that the shower was terrible and he said he seen that?. It had Used soap still in the tub! All rooms in town were booked so no chance of Changing hotels. Dont stay here! lady at the fromt desk stole money from me she told me a price for the week i paid in cash she didnt give me a receipt she claimed they were out of paper,come to find out the next day the hotel per week was about $50 cheaper. they said they were gonna review the cameras and talk to the owner they kept putting it off the whole week i stayed there! they never gave me the money back and they also said its not the 1st time the lady at the front desk does that. she done that to other customers that stayed there before...DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! This was simply my only option when my flight got canceled because of hurricane Sally.Cons-the room smelled like mold.-the table in the room had molded growing on it.-there was trash under the bed.-one of the two bed in my room was covered in hair. (from previous guests?)-I counted 5 live roaches in my room.-no working internet.-mean dogs chained up outside one of the rooms.-the sink was dirty.- counter was dirty.-confusing room number layout.

I only gave this hotel a 1 star because that was the minimum. If I had a choice, this hotel would have not received the one star. First things first, the hotel is an extended stay with several people who actually live on the property. This is not an issue of mine. HOWEVER, the property is outdated, the property is nasty and dirty. The doors on your hotel room are not safely shut tight. AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT someone could literally kick your door in. Considering the area of the hotel, this is something likely to happen. When I checked into my room, there was urine still in and on the toilet seat. There was a used wash rag hanging from the shower rod in he bathroom. The floor was dirty, I could visibly see old and used rubber bands. I informed the manager, and he stated that Housekeeping should be arriving soon. Im am still in my room as I type this review, and housekeeping has not showed up. This is unacceptable, especially considering the first thing that comes out of the managers mouth is no refund. Police are highly monitoring the area. The smell of the rooms lets you know that people are living in them, smoking and doing all types of drugs in and out of the hotel rooms.

Absolutely disgusting! Blankets were capes in white goop, toilet was broken, pubic hairs all in the bathtub and all over the floor! Holes in the walls and the ceiling falling in in multiple places. Cloth furniture in the room was filthy and covered in scrapable stuff.Staff was very unprofessional when it came to tending to the filth. After showing him the filthy blankets, he proceeded to walk me to another room and pull the blankets off that bed and walked me back to my completely disgusting room... and expected me to allow my 3 young children and baby to sleep in it! Negative... for a refund and left! 😡

He didn’t even ask for a confirmation number to prove that I was the one paying for the account. He just said he couldn’t give out that information and hung up on me. So disrespectful and ignorant. I hate to give a bad review because the staff was so friendly. But this place was a disaster. Cockroaches all over the bathroom walls and on the towels... I was wearing flip flops no socks and noticed my feet started itching and tingling. Then when I layed down in the bed my whole body was tingling and itchy after a couple minutes... I wish I was joking. I think the filters in the AC havent been changed in years (or the AC units are so old) they are blowing all kinds of nasty stuff into the rooms, floor, carpet, beds, etc. If you can afford an extra $5-$15 bucks a night you should stay somewhere else. With all the itching from the bed, chairs, and cockroaches I would have rather slept in my car.

The bed stunk. The room stunk but had a different odor than the bed. The floor was full of dirt not sure if they swept or mopped between customers. There where alot of holes in the walls. The staff was not friendly. I knew it was a cheap motel they still should at least clean the bed in between customers.

Our room was canceled on us during the check-in window and we were stuck outside over an hour while trying to get it fixed. Absolutely ruined our experience with this hotel from the beginning. Although it may not be their fault directly, their partnership with Expedia is not working.
This hotel was disgusting and in an awful area of town. My MIL booked it through a reservation desk that Holiday had referred her too since they were booked. We need last minute rooms due to a family member being in end of life. Then we showed up, a few hours after booking and driving six hours to this mess. The receptionist stated she could not cancel the reservation since it was booked through a third party. We informed them we would not be staying there. By the time we found a new hotel to stay at and got settled, it was late and the reservation desk stated they would not refund us for that night since it was 11pm. Terrible customer service from both companies. Honestly, it should be illegal for companies to rent rooms in such conditions. The have repeated bad reviews... Where is the health department?!
This was absolutely one of the most disgusting places I ever stayed. There were insects in the bathroom and half smoked cigarettes behind the toilet paper. The ceiling looked like it had blood stains on it. The wall corners were covered in cob webs. The room smelled so bad my luggage and the clothes in it smelled god awful. I would give this place a 0 if that were an option.
Very Cheesy, and too many roaches. The microwave was filthy dirty. They charged us $117 when indeed it should’ve been $10. This was all we was able to get due to evacuating for Ida. I paid for 2 nights but left after the 1st night. No Refund & it don’t deserve a one star!
Disgusting!!!!!!! Mold all in our bathroom ceiling. Stains that looked like blood on the shower curtain and lamp shade. We killed several roaches. We asked for a different room and they would not switch us. Never again.
This was the most disgusting motel I have ever stayed at. I was visiting Pensacola to see my son in the Navy and we both laughed so hard at the conditions of this place. Bathrooms were not clean beds did not have fitted sheets comforters were not washed and had burn holes in them. The Fossetts to the bathtub were broken the toilets were disgusting there was flies in the room and on my third night we got a different room hoping it would be better that one had a hole in the door that you could look right through that someone stuff to fake hundred dollar bill in to keep their privacy and that was supposed to be a “nice room” we are not very preppy people we do not need a five star but this does not even deserve one star!
Our room was gross to say the least. Didnt seem like house keeping cleaned It god knows how many people that were in that room. There were bugs everywhere,the tub on the outside was filthy.. this place should be the last resort to stay at .
The place was filthy. The room was stagnant and everything looked like it had not been cleaned in a long while. When I opened the freezer I was greeted by a small cockroach. While watching tv, a couple of his bigger brothers took a stroll across the wall. There was a build up of what I can only hope was white rust around the entirety of the corners of the room. The bedding seemed to be clean(ish) but had a faint musty smell. The bathroom was atrocious. It was about the level of clean that you would expect at a high school locker room. I would have slept in my car but I didnt feel it was that safe. There were Drug and Alcho-Zombies wandering around at all hours. I was unfortunately stuck there because it was the 4th of July and I couldnt find other accommodations. I decided to brave it out since it was just for a night but spent the whole next day worrying that the roaches might have hitched a ride home with me and paranoid that every itch was a bed bug or something else I might have contracted. BELIEVE THE OTHER REVIEWS! STAY AWAY, I dont care if its free I would not return to this property unless it was with the Department of Health Services to shut it down
If I could leave no stars I would. Disgusting to say the least. Glad we got our money back but had to go back twice. The first time he lied and said he gave me a refund. Then to get a receipt for the refund only to find out he didnt give it the first time. Got our children unpacked and the car all unpacked only to find cockroaches all over the room. Blood on the walls. Bleach on the floor. The floor has never been vacuumed. The air conditioner was all torn apart and left that way. Didnt even have fitted sheets on the bed. The room smelt like somone had been living in it and they sprayed cheap calgon to mask the smell.
I didnt stay there but I have an issue with them. Back in June I accidentally made a reservation for this hotel. I immediately called their Customer Service to cancel. The rep assured me that we would get a refund.I checked my bank account the next day and we received a credit for the amount in question. But I also noticed another charge for the same amount. I contacted Oyo again and received an email explaining that I had not canceled within one day of check-in. I also contacted an attorney and they stood by their cancellation policy. I advise anyone not to do business with this company. Their policy is extremely unfair.

First off I hope no one stays here. We first check in and the place is sketchy and our safety felt threatened. The room was worse. The room felt dirty and dirty to the touch. There was black mold in the A/C vents. Black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and looked like the ceiling was going to cave in. The room had a mold smell in it and there were bugs flying around. We walked out and didn’t stay there and got a different hotel.

Room is nasty black mold everywhere i even switched rooms due to black mold and the sink flooding the floor , black mold EVERYWHERE on the ceiling in the ceiling im the walls behind the mirrors you can smell it as soon as you walk in, the room looks like they hired the tweeker down the street to do repairs and remodel , outlets out of walls, torn up ac, doors look like theyve been booted a few times and put back , bathroom coooovered in black mold im scared to take shower, whole ceiling panels replaced with cheap drywall pieces, rust everywhere a cigarette sitting on the shower, used soap still sitting in the dish with plastic drips ,down the wall , bubbles on the wall under the paint that drips when touched, dust everywhere, bathroom door hanging on hinges barely closes also looks like it was booted and put back furniture looks as if it was picked from the dump.... I literally could go oooon and ooon about this room ill post pictures aswell .... Im a contractor and i can tell you at first glance this place should be evacuated ,condemned and demolished theres no saving this building short of a complete tear down , there was a hole in the wall behind the mirror and i could see the entirety of the inside structure its roted and molded .... There is no way in hell this place would EVER pass a legitimate inspection from the city .... This is one of those hotels you pay 5$ an hour for , ya know what i mean.... Also house keepers are banging on doors hours before checkout, also was woken up around 8 to by an employee stating he didnt know what i plan to do because i have to pay for longer , i said uuuh check outs at 11 right? , he just turned and walked away.... Like i said 5 $ an hour place

Its the most horrible thing there is, everything looked super dirty and old. The bed had a hole and there were cockroaches everywhere, the most horrible thing was when we saw cockroaches in the beds, we ended up sleeping the car. It was the worst night of my life. I would never recommend it, and apart from everyone, they behaved rude
We had no choice but to stay here, but I think that the Management should feel ashamed for charging the rate they do. This was awful and so far from even a simple OK. I took pictures of the dead bugs in the bathroom and everything that was wrong with the room as a whole. No fitted sheet on the bed to the bed needing to be replaced. Just an awful experience.

This place is a run down health hazard. There was missing ceiling tiles in the bathroom the ones that were there were covered in black mold. There was holes in the wall that look like they had been spackled over and then never repainted the toilet ran and leaked. The mattress was stained and saggy, they say free WiFi but it doesnt work. They place should seriously be condemned.
The room was dirty when we got here, thank god I brought my own cleaning supplies...the toilet was clogged for 2 days. I had to borrow their plunger and unclog it myself. No snack machines because theyre inside the lobby, which you arent allowed to enter unless u work there. And the coke machine only takes quarters
With an hour of showing up we were approached by more than 4 people trying to sell us “everything” they had everything!!!! . There were roaches in the room ,brown stains in the bed and sheets , dirty Q-tips and trash on the ground, the door did not lock and there’s holes in the walls 150$ for one night is a complete ripoff if I could share pictures I would cause it disgusting
Evacuated due to IDA. Room was Disgusting, they first attempted to charge 800.00 for two nights then realized we were Law enforcement and then charged402.00 for the 2 nights. This place isn’t worth 70.00 a night. No hot water, broken TV, broken fridge with rust. Straight disgusting and trashy. I am reporting them for price hiking during a disaster. Please avoid this place.
Staff was very rude during check in. No lighting outside the room. The room smelled so bad, it was hard to breathe. There was roaches on the floor & in the bed. There was blood on the walls and the door. It was very very dirty, left over food from people who stayed before us. The lights inside the room didnt even work. The tv didnt work. Stayed in the room 10 mins and then left. Good thing i booked through a different company and got a refund. This place is super dangerous, the people hanging around the building. Went to another hotel but i would have slept in my truck then this place. Needs to be torn down.
Bathroom door showed signs of forced entry. The door did not shut unless you picked up on the doorknob. Then the latch would not turn an you would have to force the door open. Drywall next to the bed was broken. The walls in the bathroom needed repairs. While I did not expect a 4 star hotel this had to many maintenance issues.

In response to my review the oyo hotel of Pensacola located on hwy 29 respondes to my review and projected and remorseful and honest apology for my horrible stay.And went even further to correct this.As we began correspondence I began to see it was all smoke and mirrors. Lies .They only wrote on my review to polish their image.I still have not received any corrections. But I have provided banking statement and information to the BBB.They say they see a no show for my booking id but I have video and photos of the room receipt and bank statement.... Yall better go get paid. They incriminate themselves with bad business youll win a civil suit
Im not usually one to leave reviews, but this place is special. I dont even know where to start with this place. The 20 plus health code violations, or the fact that the room is literally breaking down while youre in it? Lets start with the outside. Pulling up, there were three cop cars responding to God knows what. This looks like a place you go to get trafficked. Secondly, upon walking into the room, it smells like someone has been chain smoking in the room for the past 20 years. Once I was able to adjust to the smell, I decided to pull out my laptop to get some work done. Pulled out the key card sleeve for the wifi, and I noticed these very helpful Customer Safety Tips printed right on the side for my convenience! A couple of the tips included were Always use deadbolt and Always verify identity before opening door. Obviously, I rested super comfortably that night knowing I was well prepared. Once I took a minute to process the information Id just read, I decided to try to connect to the wifi. Once connected, it realized that this wifi was absolutely lightning fast. One page loaded every five minutes or so! It only took an hour to get my ten minutes of work done! After dealing with that frustration, I decided to put my laptop up and go to sleep. I hesitantly pulled back the blanket (let alone the sheets) and obviously there was dirt and hair under it. The Oyo hotel was kind enough to leave the same sheets from the last guest! Once I got past the feeling of the unsanitary bed, I finally laid my head down and TRIED to get some rest through the banging and talking through the tissue thin walls. If walls were toilet paper, this would be the ghost of one ply toilet paper you get at that inner city gas station youre afraid to go to. Waking up, I finally decided to attempt a shower, and not feel dirtier than when I came in. The first thing I noticed was the top of the toilet was caked in dirt, and the second was the dirt and hair in the tub, and the third was the toilet paper holder falling out of the wall. I hesitantly turned on the shower, and get in, and I was greeted to the wonderful site of what looked like blood on the inside of the shower curtain! A wonderful surprise. I did my best not to touch anything at all, as to not contract any of the plethora of diseases this shower would inevitably have given me. I finally got out and had the foresight to open and inspect my towel (which had a texture quite similar to sandpaper), and I was greeted with some very striking brown stains! The Oyo hotel doesnt believe in throwing away a perfectly good towel. I pulled out the second towel and there were even darker brown stains, almost as if someone would rather have used the towel directly instead of touching the toilet. Again, the Oyo hotel is many things, but wasteful it is not. Finally, I pulled out the third towel, and to my delight, it only had a few blood stains! So I found the cleanest part of that one and dried myself with that. Once I got out of the bathroom, feeling just a little violated, I packed up got right out of there. So if you like a hotel you feel like youll get robbed at walking in, the overwhelming stench of a chainsmokers house, wifi thats slower than dialup, dingy sheets, and an even worse bathroom, this place is absolutely for you!
The worst experience ever, drug dealing, and prostitution out in the open, surely this is nothing more than a crack motel. The woman at the desk was arguing with someone on the phone and continued yelling while i waited to check in, Shameful behavior! After checking in i had to go to work so i was not able to check room till 2 hours later. Well the room smelled like smoke and pet dander both of which i am allergic to. i called the front desk to move to a different room, and was met with a very rude attitude, the same lady at the desk told me that there was no way that she could move me because i had been in room longer than 10 min. when i demanded to speak to the manager i was told that i could not till the next day. Keep in mind that the motel was 2/3 empty, plenty available rooms. I got a little angry with the attitude that i was receiving so my language was a little colorful, to which she threatened to call the police. So i left, $50 lighter to stay somewhere Safer, Cleaner and more Respectful of their customers.

The minute I opened the door the Roches was running out the door the room was dirty and the carpets was masty.If it had not been for the hurricane I would had not stayed there. They charged us $177.00 for that masty room for that night. That under normal condition I would not have stayed in at all.
The worst hotel on earth. It’s basically a trap house turned hotel.I left New Orleans after Hurricane Ida to stay there for the weekend. Within 5 minutes I had to leave. It’s completely dirty and unsafe.Now I’m disputing Expedia for my money back. I would not recommend this to anyone.
This place is disgusting. It smells bad, roaches and other bugs everywhere. Mattress was in tatters, blankets had burn holes. No complementary toiletries. The place is falling apart, I cant believe theyre legally allowed to operate. Most of the people staying there appear to be homeless, or prostitutes or people who have fallen on hard times. There was even a cop talking to a woman who clearly had a bad case of meth face idk if he was getting ready to arrest her or dropping her off. If it wasnt for the fact that everywhere else was completely booked and Id been awake for going on 26hrs and driving for 12, I would of never stayed there. Other then the crappy hotel though, I had a wonderful time getting to see the love of my life. Just wish I could of stayed in a more romantic hotel with him.
Very very dirty, nut all over the bed. Bathroom area wasnt even cleaned. Also I made a reservation and it was messed up. Huge mistake staying here. Highly recommend spending an extra 10$ on a different hotel.

The place is NOT pet friendly however, there were multiple person with dogs and not really service dogs, Im talking about people with PUPPIES. The carpet is all ripped and dirty. Ever heard of a VACUUM? Apparently, the cleaning staff hasnt. The air conditioning besides being absolutely loud and old, its also full of dust in the filters. The bathroom looks like the one you would see in a horror movie, the microwave was dirty, the fridge wasnt even cooling.Did I mention there was no wifi? Yup, no wifi. I have pictures from the place will be posting soon!Hopefully I will never have to come back to this awful place!UPDATE: Its been TWO WEEKS AND I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MY REFUND THAT THE OWNER SAID HE WOULD GIVE ME.DO NOT STAY HERE THIS IS PURE SCAM.Im about to call my bank to let them know this transaction was UNAUTHORIZED, since the owner said he would return the money within two days... The name is Palm Court Inn. One sorta clean towel and one very nasty one. No way to secure the door, chain was not attached. Indoor waterfall from the room above us at 2am was unique. First thing out of the night managers mouth was, I cant give you a refund. Should have been Let me get you another room.

For the price one cant complain. The room was clean and there were no fleas or bed bugs. My wife was content. Palm Court has more pros than cons. A good stay and the price. I would recommend it to out of town friends and family.
Only reason I give it a 1, is because there are no negative numbers here. Room had a bad stench. Dead bolt wouldnt lock, and no secondary lock at all. Ive stayed at many cheap hotels in my life, but none with the cockroach infestation of this one. I would stay under a bridge before staying in another OYO motel. Tried taking a shower and water pressure was barely a dribble. Run away from any of these motels.
I got a room went in the fridge was discusting then walls are torn up the shower curtain had piss all over it. And the worse part bed bugs this is disgusting and after telling the man who put us in the room he began to get loud and saying no refund over and over. Would not recommend.
Hotel was unsanitary. Hotel was unsafe (poor lighting, door lock broken) Upon entering the room, I immediately left and slept in my truck. I would recommend you avoid this Hotel at all costs. Receptionist was nice and knowledgeable.

OMG. I booked this room for my son driving cross country. The price was right and he was tired. He is street wise and called me just after getting there. Large groups of people standing outside the rooms smoking pot and yelling. I said just go to your room and go to sleep. He calls, says NO WAY. Burned bed covers, what looks like BLOOD on the sheets, etc. So I said leave and called their front desk. The girl there was very very nice and said just have him come back up and we will refund his money. I called a Super 8 less than a mile away and since there are two Super 8s I asked if they were the one close to this Palm Court hotel. The Super 8 lady said Unfortunately. She asked if he had got into the bed because that might be a problem. Well, there is my experience.
Other guests were cool, the hotel people were nice enough. genuinely is the cheapest hotel in florida so you take what you can get, pensacola is expensive. rooms weren’t the best, there were bugs in the bathrooms, and don’t even open the doors connecting to other rooms. i suggest bringing dry shampoo and just washing at the beach shower lol
I wouldnt sleep there. Burn holes in bed covers and they try to tell me it was a non-smoking room. I just laughed and asked why are there burn holes in the covers. Doh! I asked for a refund and they said sure no problem went next door and got a 4 star room at the Clarion Hotel for only $10 more per night..
We paid $140 something for a hotel room...last minute for us...due to having to cancel a trashy room with another hotel.I do not think that our room was a$140 something cost room. It is a older looking hotel. Even though it was clean and I was tired from driving iving we took it.There is no view of the water anywhere. I guess I would expect a little .ore for the price.
I looked the price for up on Trip Advisor. Called to verify that was accurate. He said don’t even bother with the reservation just come on over. We drove over, the office was locked. There was no one at the window. I tried calling back multiple times. No answer. Waited 15 minutes for someone to show up. No one ever did. Glad I didn’t pay for the reservation on the app. Someone else pulled up while we were there that apparently did. They were NOT happy.
Very bad , stay away. Not worth 85 dollars a night. Very dirthy, hair in bathroom, urine smelly bathroom, bed had huge hole in the middle, very uncomfortable. Do not recomend.
Reserved a room with 1bed for 2 adults on 3/30 for the day of 4/16. Check in said 12:00, we get there at 12 and lady in front office said check in was at 12:30. Came back at 12:45 and said check in was at 1pm. It’s 1pm and rooms are still not cleaned.. really?...we’ve been driving for 16hours..I scheduled drive time and stops to get here at 12 and sleep a few hours and now we can’t cancel and get a refund so we have to wait. This is crazy. I’m so disappointed and exhausted. Front office lady acted like she could care less and didn’t even bother to apologize.
Just DONT go there. Roaches and fleas, rock hard beds. But thats not the worse part, the worse part is there is constantly people hanging around outside your room playing music at all hours, or 5 am theres a cross dresser playing Stings Field of Gold freaking loud to the point where your now wide awake. This was the worst experience ever!!We couldn’t find a Hotel for a couple of hours arriving in Pensacola. Only this “Hotel” was available!! My God! I wish I would of read the reviews 1st!!! The whole Unit is total waste of building!It needs to be demolished and reconstructed!Everything is old, walls are falling in, restrooms are horrible! We couldn’t even use towels or covers because we were afraid to catch something there! (Infection or disease!)Please don’t waste your money here! Stay in your vehicle for the night until something decent comes available!!!!!
The room had a door that looked like someone broke in and they just kinda put it back together .Place had a lot of suspicious activities per sayI was exhausted from my drive from New York and even that I couldnt keep my eyes open ; after 3 hours of trying to convince myself that holding my gun and my wife tight as I could we would be ok I had to just grab my wife and go back to the truck , drove to a truck stop and fell asleep for a good 4 hrsThat probably sums up my experience with this specific location. I have been staying on OYO since last year when I was in Texas for work and I was ok with all my experiences prior to this one .Pensacola OYO has a lot to improve before I can ever consider coming back
I definitely give this place 0 stars, ran down and moldy. I made a reservation online and the pictures look way different then the actual hotel. The receptionist was very rude, it smelled like mold. Im still fighting to get a refund back, because I could not stay there since Im allergic to mold.
Nasty hotel. Cigarette buds in both drains,no ice from machine,hot water doesnt last long,t.v had lines while watching it, office dude not very polite,water pressure very weak and just down right dirty place.
With all the money your hotel made during hurricane Ida that hit Louisiana/Mississippi from fleeing customers, please use some to upgrade your rooms. Everything needs upgrades, everything. Bathrooms, TVs, working WiFi, actual microwaves in every room, clean bedsheets, cleaning supplies. I apologize for being blunt, but in a time that people were desperate to get away from a Category 4 hurricane, many of us ended up in your “hotel”. It was a terrible experience. Upgrade your rooms then you can charge accordingly.
I havent stayed here but thought it should be said. The manager replies are very cookie cutter and not concerned sounding. No , Ill reach out to you personally, Ill make this right..or, ... This is not how the hotel should be, Ill look into it asap)..Id not come back if I had experiences like most of these guests. Id rather pay $20+more/night and stay at a national chain that WILL be clean and the front desk will be open.
I was a little disappointed the fact that the room that I got the entire week I was there had no microwave so I spent way more money on ordering food just to eat . other than that it was a pretty nice motel very quiet and they didnt have a deposit
This was by far the worse hotel Ive ever personally witnessed. Roaches, horrible smelling, ancient everything, 90s box television, vinyl desk chair stained so bad that I believe it use to be pink. Also, if you dont try to get your money back within 10 minutes of signing the registration you are out of your money. Cancel the payment, we did. This is a dump.
This hotel was very deceiving in looks compared to actually being there. When I got there there was another gentlemen waiting to be chkd in..it was very cool standing outside at the window. I requested a king size room..when I got to my room it was double beds. I did not like tht..very few towels... only thing was comfortble was the bed. I will never choose this place again.. it was not worth my 200.00
Room 227, May 24 2020. turning on the light I see the room is more than dated, ceiling peeling bad, dirty used soap in the tub, wall stains, ceiling stains, rust on the racks and the list goes on. The bed surprisingly was nice, sheets seem new, mattress clean, even had the OYO banner across. For a moment I thought it may have been a “crackhead” theme room…honestly. The outside of the buildings were about the same.
Room was dirty, only had one towel for 3 people. When I asked for more I was given 1 with the attendant saying they were out but would bring another. Never got another towel. Water pressure was very low in the shower. Baseboards were missing. Will not stay again. OYO is a Oh NO.
Do not believe these disgruntled people on here who are spinning lies because the motel wasnt their cup of tea. There are no roaches and or rats here whatsoever. Is this a 5 star Hilton no heck no but its affordable and super decent. Give it a try I promise you wont be disappointed.
I booked a room here through Expedia because I was having surgery in town. I booked way in advance and got a discount due to booking a flight and car through Expedia. When I arrived at the hotel straight after my surgery to check in and relax, they said my reservation had been cancelled. They said it wasn’t prepaid- but Expedia doesn’t give you any notice about prepaying- if anything it says be prepared to pay on arrival. And furthermore my check in time was any time from 3-midnight as it said on my Expedia itinerary. However, the hotel staff said I should call them and they could possibly get it reinstated. They didn’t explain any further why it had been cancelled. When I called Expedia they told me many things and didn’t understand my questions. They told me I could get a refund of the 319.57 the hotel charged me automatically for “cancelling” my reservation. And supposedly Expedia contacted the hotel and staff told them I called and cancelled my reservation. I blame both the hotel and Expedia for causing me undue stress after an extensive surgery as no one could give me a straight answer or reason and no one wants to give me my money back or help me get a room. I had to pay for a hotel across the street and paid over a thousand dollars instead of my reserved price of 319.57. I will never use this hotel company or Expedia again.
Very rude workers. Cockroaches everywhere in the room black mold under the sink. Just a nasty place very unclean horrible service. My mother is handicap and they gave her such a hard time extremely rude too her and I wish I could rate negative this place dont even deserve one star
They beat on the doors at 11am there is no late checkout nor can you check in early.
Dirty. The power kept cutting off. People were yelling outside at 3 in the morning. We decided to not even shower there, or sleep under the covers. Sink was stopped up with everything u could imagine, air vents in ceiling were I open, with no covers. We asked for our money back, and was talked in a language we couldnt understand. Ridiculous.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. On our second night there was a man walking around knocking on doors for over an hr from 11pm- midnight.after the third knock my husband got up and opened the door the man stated he was knocking on the wrong door but continued walking down the sidewalk knocking on all doors making laps.
I didnt stayed this motel but here is the thing I booked motel through snap travel. When I show up there they dont even have my reservation and snap travel didnt even help me out no no I cant able to get in touch with cause they dont have any communication. If you are going through snap travel you will end up on the road, I did. Cause of these Id**ts mistake I had to pay $200 to get another motel cause I was drove 700 miles that day and it was Key west inn right opposite to this OYO motel. I totally recommend just dont go this motel, you will be screwed.
I am here now I read some of the reviews and I havent seen any roaches, or any other bugs, the water pressure is fine. I can say the bed is hard but its not the end of the world. All in all you get what you pay for in for the price you cant think you were gonna be in the motel 6 or the Hamilton!!! I have enjoyed my stay thus far If I had to come here again I would come here!!!!
