Nice, inclusive venue that we’d be happy to play at again. The staff was super helpful and friendly, from the sound guy/owner (who really knows what he’s doing and made us sound amazing) to DJ Mighty Mike Saga who runs the Friday night Vortex, to the vendors- everyone was so kind and welcoming. The location is pretty good with decently available parking around the venue. We ended up walking to go get pizza- there are many restaurants around the area. I guess normally they have tacos at W.O.W., which we planned to get, but the kitchen was closed that night, unfortunately.
Great venue, awesome and friendly staff. Mexican/taco shop for those who are needing some sustenance while drinking. Decent/Average prices for food & drink. The shows always feel personal with excellent sound quality and visuals. A must check on a Friday or Saturday night for artists coming to town - you will always find quality done right here!
Dope venue, delicious (and stiff!) drinks, wonderful bartenders - the sets I saw were absolutely sick. 10/10 would recommend!also, you should be able to find decent street parking nearby if you arrive before/around 11pm (:
One of my favorite little venues Ive visited in Philly so far. Loved the ambiance/lighting of the upstairs for the techno show we went to, and the crowd overall was pretty nice. Also seems like they really are about the music here, which I love. Will absolutely be back!

Very kind staff! Bartender upstairs with red hair was so friendly and hilarious. Chill vibe, lots of places to sit. Only venue I’ve ever been to where there wasn’t a constant line for the bathroom
Went here for a house show last night (Malaa). Great layout that wasnt too packed. Never too long of a wait for a drink. Drink prices are actually on the lower side for a music venue, so no complaints there.Easily among the best venues in the city to catch an electronic/house show. Ill be back for sure.
Bartender Suzanne S. made a negative reaction after I stated I did not want to leave a tab open due to the fact that I was leaving shortly. I then got my drink that was so awful I literally threw away after 3 sips and couldn’t drink it anymore (I’m sure it was made this way purposefully), they charged my card twice and added their own tip (it’s their policy to add 20% tip if tab is left open, I guess that also applies when you specifically tell them you don’t want to open a tab as well and they give you no receipt to sign or put your own tip amount on purpose.)After reaching out to the general manager Meg Bassett, communication was great until we talked on the phone and she did not seem concerned at all or care about their customer. Double charged and adding their own tip on a single drink that tasted like dog poop. Eventually was told I would be refunded what I was overcharged and not for the entire transaction. I guess 12 bucks is worth a bad review.Don’t pay with card here or don’t come at all, the sound and vibe is terrible, I could throw a better party in my parent’s basement.
(Edited) WOW genuinely cares about its patrons! Going to upgrade the bathrooms. Hell yeah!Would be 5 stars but yall need to upgrade the bathrooms upstairs and the functions and sub went out on the right side last time I was there. The artist was from the UK so that was a disappointment to the crowd. but besides that I like this venue. The music and sound quality brings me back there, otherwise you would not catch me close to Girard like that 😂
Love that they have such a variety of events. My go-to dance spot because there is always enough space to move around and enough bathrooms.
Love going to shows at W.o.W! The sound quality is amazing and the drinks are affordable. And all the staff here are just the best!
People are nice, great diverse set of artists performing. Even live painting!
Never made it clear on anything that it was a 21 and up event until we got there and were turned down. I also emailed to double check and never got a response back. The bouncers were rude and tried to say we could pay $40 extra to get it on top of the $20 ticket but no one wants to be scammed out of $60!! The bouncers and manager were laughing and making fun of me and my friends. Very unprofessional!!
Decent music. It only gets active after 11pm
BORING VENUE NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Trying to understand why they identify as a warehouse when the venue is not large at all. No plur vibes whatsoever the crowd is weird & rude. Felt unsafe at times in this venue as well. Sound system is terrible & there’s no type of art or anything uniquely special about this overpriced place….. better off going to any other venue in philly.
Ive only been to Cambridge Hall, which is the smaller of their two rooms. It is has a nice vibe. The staff is nice, and the drinks arent outrageously priced. Good sound. Street-only parking could be a problem for well attended shows.
Not a bad venue. It is kind of awkward to find at first. There are two levels to it. Ive seen a show downstairs and upstairs. I believe upstairs has more capacity, but I enjoyed downstairs more when I saw a show there. More of a club feel to it. Upstairs is a long hall. Up front, the sound isnt bad at all. If you go to the back, that sound isnt that great and its naturally harder to see the band. They do seem to be booking more metal tours there now, which is nice as many have been skipping Philly in recent years.
Great sound, lights and dance floor. The graffiti in the green room and bathroom made me smile so big, and the staff were just as friendly as the folks on the dance floor. The door check was a bit more thorough than I expected but I guess its better to be safe than sorry. However, I asked my friend if they checked every pocket of her wallet and patted her down, and she said they just waved her in with no security check at all. Why the inconsistency, I wonder.
Its an okay venue, not as cool as say the Underground Arts or Union transfer but it has promise. I think someone tried to break into my car the last time I drove there, so be careful where you park.
I love this place so much, I always feel safe and like Im able to really let loose. Part of what makes it so great is the awesome security team. Shana is my fave- she knows how to snuff out the shady people and is always so warm and welcoming. I wish there were more water filling stations upstairs and downstairs because the bartenders always try to push liquid death and in this economy who wants to spend $4 on a can of water?? That being said WoW is my second home and I hope they just keep booking great shows!
Last night was awful. We waited in line outside for an hour before the show and missed a lot of music we wanted to see, and they had the most intense search I’ve ever seen for a concert venue. The guy searched every pocket of my wallet / behind every card with a flashlight for 3 full minutes and full on groped me before allowing me inside. For no reason. I support keeping everyone safe but this was way too extreme. Then we got inside and it was way oversold, plus they advertised funktion one speakers but it was one of the worst sounding venues I’ve been to in the city. Idk what happened to this place
I had a 5 star review about a year ago, but after last night I am back to change it. I dont know in what world you think having one person checking people for a sold show was a good idea but it took us over an hour to get in and we missed alot of the artist we were trying to see that night. I understand needing to protect people but she was even checking tiny wallet pockets? I dont enjoy full cavity searches for a night out and Ill be debating attending any events here in the future.
This place is awesome! The people who work there are top notch and very kind. They made special accommodations for us as my husband is awaiting knee surgery. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Can’t wait to come back!
Friendly staff, decent venue to see a show. Only complaint is drink prices. $19 (plus tip) for a double shot Jameson and coke. City wide special (shot and a beer) is going for $9 there. If that sounds acceptable then I recommend the place. If not then I recommend you drink elsewhere and just go for the shows. Thats what Ill be doing.
W.O.W. Is currently one of the best venues in Philly. 2 floors, 2 stages. Downstairs is a smaller room, while upstairs is decked out with disco balls, crawling ceiling lights, and 2 giant LED screens. Funktion sound means bring earplugs. Even on a night with a sold out show there was plenty of space.A great spot to hit for a show, or for an after party following a show at the Met. One block from the Girard subway stop.
Do not go here!! This is NOT a safe space anymore. Ive been coming to this venue for years and it used to be my favorite in the city. That is until the repeated reports of security harassing guests including busting in a bathroom stall, unprovoked, while a friend was using the facility. Absolutely unacceptable and downright scary!! There have also been reports of people being targeted by security because of the way they look or for being outspoken about the truly militaristic security team and then kicked out without any having done anything wrong. WOW used to be the best and it really sucks that its not safe anymore. If you do choose to come here, be careful of their staff.
Nice venue, small, easy to get to. Downside 0 parking. We found a lot and paid $40 but that was way too high. The venue was clean audio quality is so-so.
Went here Friday, April 1st 2022 to see Malaa.Sound system was nice. The place had a decent amount of space to move through people - get to the bar - to the restrooms - find a space to dance.I got in late - but I dont think I even saw the dj.Either too many ppl up front, or too dark, or the strobe lights would mess with me a bit.Overall experience: no complaints about the place. (:____________________________________________________________Just went back on Saturday, February 25th, 2023, to see Anna Reusch.I was actually able to see the DJ this time.It was much brighter, but also not as many people, compared to the first time I went.
My partner and I came here for Emo Prom for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! We had SO much fun, it greatly exceeded our expectations. They had great corsages and boutonnieres for sale, prom pictures, and emo drag performances. We danced our hearts out and will 100% be back
Great club! Really enjoyed my time here and they offer a pretty good lineup of house and techno in Philly. At one point in the night i ordered tap water from the bar and we instead had to buy a 4$ can of a trendy water brand. Since this is a nightclub and the majority of their customers are usually intoxicated, water should be given out free, no questions asked. Clubs should want their customers to drink responsibly and having to pay for water is excessive. Otherwise great night, will definitely be coming back
With parties on both floors, they need to soundproof the 1st floor ceiling/2nd floor floor. If you on the 2nd floor you will feel the party under you. Its an off beat sensory nightmare and is impossible to ignore.
Don’t go. Old female skinny bouncer with white hair and tattoos was unnecessarily rude screaming at the top of her lungs pushing us accusing us for something we did not do. Ruined our night and absolutely unacceptable. Never ever going back again. Worst venue in Philly.
The upstairs level was pretty cool the one time I partied up there. Staff here seems to always be friendly. I havent been up there after they installed the new lighting system yet so I will update soon about how that looks from the crowds point of view and from the performers point of view.Update: the new lighting system is great! Last time I was here was to see Malaa. I cant describe how awesome that was.
Do not recommend the queer events here, it is not a safe space. Kink events are hosted here and the staff have no clue how to be respectful or what general kink culture conduct includes.
Female security guard with the mohawk was over aggressive. She was making treating remarks and be to aggressively hands, uncalled for. You need to handle that situation otherwise the thing you would be nice. You know what security guard Im talking about too. No one wants to go to a concert and have to deal with the security act and like theyre tough and threatening you. Very inappropriate behavior could be handled better.
The lighting is super aggressive and the speakers dont sound as good as other venues but everything else was great
Nice venue. Warehouse/club atmosphere was on point. Bar tenders were pretty quick but at some points seemed a little overwhelmed with not too many people in line. Crowds were never more than 2 rows at the bar. Prices were reasonable - $6 spiked setzlers. Overall great place. Looking forward to my next visit
Sweet venue, with 2 big bars - one by the entrance downstairs and one upstairs. I was here for a late night concert and the vibe was great, with great sound. Security was chill but did a good job of keeping control and making the space safe.
I took my wife here to see Sly and Robbie 6/28. The drinks were good. However, my wife was looking for more fruity drinks or long island ice tea. Parking close to the venue is out of the question. We were pleased with the Live Band entertainment. We will be visiting again.
Warehouse on Watts is a small venue with two floors. The lower with a very small staging area and bar, and the upper with a slightly larger stage area and bar.I saw Simple Creatures play on the upper floor. It wouldnt matter about acoustics because the sound just blasts you anywhere you are, so wear ear protection! Tinnitus is no joke! The lighting is fair enough, but blasts bright when the house lights go down, so I wore dark glasses. If you have light sensitivity, as I do, I suggest the same.Being a small venue, when packed its hot upstairs, so use the coat check at the downstairs bar ($4)The bathrooms are what you would expect, but neither is clearly marked on the upper level (not sure about lower), so an occasional pop in of any sexual identity is no big deal.If you are short, like me, there is a thin riser on the upper floor on the far wall. Try to get on it, or to the rail. The employees were very nice people, and deserve to be tipped well, in my opinion. The Captain far outweighed the Coke in my drink, and I didnt ask for, nor pay for, a double! They were fast, and welcoming.*Be careful on the stairs, and aware of the flooring on the lower level by the exit!
Excellent small venue. Good sound.Great tacos via appAnd reasonably priced beverages
Dope venue, everyone is friendly, great sound system & lights, comfy lounging area, LGBTQ friendly, gender neutral bathrooms. And positive vibes on the signs to Stay Sexy!
Brought an ecig battery to the show and security took it from me even though there was nothing attached to it. They kept saying it was used for weed but clearly if you look at it, nothing is attached to the battery. It is an empty battery that I purchased right before the show. And the lady kept smelling it but couldnt detect anything because it was brand new.Reason why I couldnt leave it in my car was because I ubered.I went to the dance floor and got a drink but decided to leave pretty early because the music didnt sound good. I tried to get my empty battery back but they said I couldnt have it back. Pretty sad about the whole thing :(
Really awesome venue. Amazing ventilation, great staff, super cool lighting, and best of all...really inexpensive drinks compared to other places in Philly. Always a fun and unique vibe here and ready to come back one day soon.
I wish consent rules were followed better at this club. I was followed around and stared at creepily by at least 4 different guys and it made me so uncomfortable that I left early. Guys, If a woman keeps moving away when you come near her, dont follow her to the other side of the dance floor. Then if she looks at you and clearly says STOP, leave her the eff alone. Its pretty simple. Everyone just wants to have a good time and dance. Dont ruin it. Other than that, the lights are cool. Reminded me of Flash in DC ❤️
I recently booked an event at WOW for the launch of Sports Apparel brand! It was a Tailgate themed party, and the space couldnt of been any more perfect for it! We were able to utilize their beer pong, ping pong and pool tables for it.Meg, was super helpful and supportive throughout the whole entire process! And the day of the event Meg, John, Marcus and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and easy going! With about 70 guests they helped us mange the crowd very well.I wouldnt hesitate to hold another event here, I hope were able to do so in the near future!
Paid a decent ticket price to get in for a dj (Tchami). Enjoying myself and the vibes upstairs on the dance floor until I decided to come back down to the first floor to grab a drink and hit the restroom. At this point I realized they had a security crew working the stairs to the dance floor because they had hit capacity. They oversold the show I was seeing based on the size of the entire venue/building and not the dance floor alone. I waited in a line 20+ minutes to get back to the dance floor of the show I had just been enjoying.. So I left..Additional notes: The audio seemed super unbalanced for most of the show I witnessed. The crowd was louder than the music, but at least the bass was kickin. Sounded like we were just dancing to a bass beat.. Think they must be new to this.Check the other low review(s) for this venue, there is another with a similar experience. I was actually really looking forward to the event when the people hosting at the venue sent out an email with prep details and mentioned different things to do, but they in no way mentioned the situation I found myself in.It was cool they had a Nintendo 64 setup, but that was really the extent of the extras they had. I was really looking forward to dancing till 3am or later as advertised.
Intimate venue with a cool vibe. Definitely enjoyed the upbeat crowd and the quaint atmosphere. Great place to find smaller niche bands!!
Excellent venue for techno, the only thing they need is a small riser for the stage. Its hard to see the DJ with the setup I saw, which was in 2017. It had the look of a raw unfinished warehouse that had been gutted, and replaced with just the bare essentials.
This place was totally awesome, the cheesy bread was fantastic and the show was even better. Security guard gave me whoopin for selling weed at the show but that was alright. Thanks for the good show!!!
Went to a party here and a man groped me without consent. When I told security, all they did was go back and forth with the guy until he left. They didn’t make me feel safe or escorted him out. Definitely not safe for women, fems, or any non-binary folks.
Its a cool warehouse for events, and its got a nice atmosphere to it. Its flexible, and you can host anything from a superbowl party to an art show. It is hard to find though (entrance is in an alley), and the nearby area feels a tad seedy, so keep that in mind when booking
This place truly lives up to its name and is extraordinaire! I have attended events both upstairs and down and would recommend this places as a venue for a concert, show or pretty much anything. The owners name is Gavin and he was really open minded and helpful.
Solid mid sized venue, laid out well and decent pricing on drinks. My only complaint is the last few shows Ive seen here have had pretty weak lighting packages which is almost never the case anywhere else, but I wont blame the venue for that.
It was ok... Staff at 1 bar was very accommodating. On the other end (near the bathrooms), the bartenders were short & didnt even provide straws or cups! Ehh. I guess Ill come back because the DJs were the best thing happenin on this night!
Small, intimate venue with great acoustics that doesnt leave your ears ringing at the end of the night
I just recently booked WoW for a staff party. We had 40 associates gather for an awards ceremony for them on a Sunday evening. The space was beyond perfect!! We worked with Meg, who was AMAZING. They had so many options for lighting, add-ons available for the vibe we wanted (we had couches, a pool table, set up a taco bar with our caterer, etc), let us use their bar and fridge for drinks/dessert, were really accommodating with our set up and tear down and also had a great sound system. Our girls had a blast and since this was the first time we hosted this event at all it really came together perfectly because of WoW. Hoping to make this an annual event!
A pleasure to work with, play at and attend shows at. Top notch staff in both the back office and FOH, terrific sound and production, great location. Absolutely recommend everyone checks out or a show or event in this room!
They have really spruced this place up. It now has a full bar and more production. Great spot for shows in the city. Bathrooms are a little crowded but thats really with any venue.
What a cool venue! We were there for the Savage Sisters Worth Saving event. It was our first time there and well def be back.
Had a great party, but the bar was terrible. Too inexperienced bartenders, over 200 people. Even ran out of booze. Lines for drinks were 45 minutes or more.
One of my fave venues - always enough space to dance!
The atmosphere was amazing, the workers are great and drinks are delicious! Definitely going back.
If you are Latino don’t go to this place . We were asked if we were from Arizona when we showed a NJ drivers license . We were also asked if we had passports . My friend had a green card with him and still they didn’t let him in, they wanted a passport who carries around their passport to go to a concert ? I don’t have a passport and I’m born here and my whole family has been here since Vietnam .We drove 4 hours for nothing .
An event venue that provide so many alternative spaces for rent. I love how vintage the building is. I use to go to a night lounge there when I was in my teens. I am now bbn in my 30s. Go figure.
Always a good time here no matter what night Ive gone on. Friendly staff and the music is always clutch. Will always return! 🖤
Incredible layout for multiple DJs to post up. Fantastic spot for an abundance of bodies to fill up and groove!! Thanks for recently hosting the phenomenal PEX experience this Halloween!
They sold to underage kids then proceeded to harass them and kick them out they also sold alc to legal adults then kicked them out to for no reason horrible service and the security was on a power trip and just harassed people
Great venue, awesome staff, and very close to the girard station along the broad street line
Its a nice little venue!! the sound leaves a little to be desired but otherwise, good place!!
Small space, but they pack a lot of sound in there. Some people with flow toys and a few different DJs. Cheap drinks and small vendor table.
Wayyy better than most venues, especially the ave.
Warehouse on Watts has very welcoming staff. The workers and crowd there always have positive vibes and attitudes. Very affordable drink prices this place is a gem!
Great venue to rent. A little off the beaten path but nothing like it in the city. i look forward to more events here.
Previously Dances, Warehouse On Watts (WoW), offers 2 floors of renivated space for events, parties, etc. There are even work spaces available for those interested. An ATM is available inside the facility. There is a smoking section outback. Its located off of 14th and Watts Street(s). You cant miss the murals or the sign on the corner. Events are held weekly, so check their Instagram for more info. Enjoy yourselves responsibly *raises Dos Equis bottle.*
Went to a Sequence techno party here June 9th and had the pleasure of getting lost in the dj styling of Damon Bradley and others.Wicked fun.
WOW lol this is simply the best venue in Philly to see a show! They always have something awesome going on. As KYGO here in June, amazing!
They need to fix the bathroom. When I was there, the one door was SUPER HIGH and revealed not just my feet but just about my waist when I sat down. Thankfully, it was still early and no one was there yet....it also didnt lock very well.
Do not go here if your are LGBTQ and like to dance. The insecure security will throw you down steps and have three men jump on you, instead of call the police on potential threats in their space.
Wow is WOW! Always happening and a great weekend party scene. I would recommend everyone to check this place out. Cheers to WOW🥃🥂🍾🕺
I have been to a few events here. The events Ive gone to there have had good music, and a pretty well maintained environment
Great place to dance even dance floor makes it even better go check decent bar
Never knew about this place. I went to PHLstartup week and it was pretty intimate, not many people showed up to the two workshops I attended, however the information was very insightful and I made some connections.
Dope DIY spots that hosts all sorts of events (even late night). The owner is an awesome dude who takes care and looks out of his performers.
Favorite going out spot in Philly. Always great music and people. Beautiful vibes!
The bouncer was kind of a jerk.
Absolutely fire 🔥 so much fun. Got to see Man Like Machine play live.
S/o to the girl bartending last night that gave me 2 cups of water and then when I came back for another she told me they dont give away free water and I would have to instead buy a can of water.
Large positive Vibez only. You will not be sorry that you parties here. Clean, friendly, and safe. Thinking about moving in....
Easy to get to, and a fun small venue to see a concert.
Great electronic music venue and event space, ways has great acts and djs!
Credit card processing surcharge not disclosed to customer before bill is processed. One star.
Went for the witch market. Perfect location. They had a cash bar and a small lounge with classic movies rolling in the background.
One of the best new venues in Philadelphia. Inclusive, quick bar staff, great sound, friendly people.
Came here for the PEX Heartburn after party. Awesome venue for parties and events! Me and my boyfriend had a blast!
Love the space! Respectful atmosphere. Great bartenders and events
This place is amazing party place. Megan the planner is super Awesome. She will help with whatever you need.
Nice little venue featuring a dj booth and a bar. Maybe 250 person capacity
Great place for events and occasions, they also have plans for expansion into art type workshops and prop building.

A great Warehouse on Watt Street. Great performers. Great place! My daughter loved it
Cool place, great events. Can book two large floors if needed.

Too dark to see. Very friendly people. Great jam session. Love Tim Brey.
Small, seedy neighborhood but great for a hole in the wall
Went to a great even here All You Can Sing!!
Dirty and I like itAlthough could use better speaker on the upper level
Venue is alright i guess but watts studio is best id truth great owner and engineer Micah Forsythe
Fun place, great people. Definitely looking forward to what this place will grow into!!
Great variety of events. Love their music shows
A hidden gem in Philadelphia... nice intimate setting to have events such as jam sessions, art shows, live performances, parties, etc
Lots of fun.
Things have gotten pretty official here. The ppl and music still tops but the end times a lil early
Unique space with excellent service and sound quality.
We always enjoy this venue for the events we attend here
Venue is small and cozy had a blast listening to some awesome artists.
Sound was really crisp, vibe was good - saw Desert Hearts collective.
This place is keeping the House/Techno scene alive. I love and support them all the way.
The bouncers here are by far the nicest i’ve ever met. super professional
Trash. Just the worst. I wouldnt spend any of my hard earned money here again. Got covid from this place 🤮
Very trendy crowd! Convenient access to subway station and broad st.
Small with a big impact of experiencing a great night, will return.
This was my first visit. I enjoyed the musical offering.
Amazing spot .... always a great time at this venue.
