I had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in, Kim was so friendly! I had a wonderful massage with Beverly. She really listened to what I wanted and I have never felt better. I then had a facial with Antoinette and she made me feel so comfortable and she really left my skin glowing. I highly recommend!

Katie is an amazing nail tech! Every service she has done for me has been excellent. Katie does a full consultation before she even touches your nails. She is very gentle and careful with all of her work. Plus her designs are gorgeous. You can tell she is passionate about what she does! Definitely book her for all your nail care needs.

Had an amazing massage with Ann today. Ive had very tight hips for years and more recently also mid-back pain. Ann has mad skills and in one hour she provided relief for both issues. I was honestly shocked at what she accomplished. I wish I lived locally as she would definitely be my go to. Look forward to my next visit to Philly, I’ll be booking another appointment for sure!!!

The facial was great but will not be returning. There is something really un-relaxing about getting sold multiple products while trying to enjoy a peaceful treatment. Then when I went to pay they claimed they couldn’t use the card on file because their system is “down.” Girl at the front desk says it’s been down months. Why even take a card online then? I didn’t bring my card with me cause I thought it would be the one I supplied already. Had to put my service on another card I hadn’t planned on using.

Went for a facial today to celebrate my birthday and Sofia was great! She’s very personable and was able to get me to relax and enjoy the experience. Educated me on what my skin needed and on Gua Sha techniques that I can continue to do at home. Thanks for the great chat and refreshing facial today!!!

My 1st pro massage in 15 years was absolutely superb. Came for deep, painful tension and spasms in my left shoulder. Cassandra was bright, skilled, kind, and did a spectacularly good job. It had been growing over a month and had gotten extremely bad that morning. She drove it back underground like a pro, and I’ve been on the mend ever since. Expert job, great place, very well set up, highly professional. Highly recommended!!

HIGHLY RECOMEND - Kayla was very welcoming on the front desk and super accommodating for a last minute appointment! She was able to get me in 10 mins after I called for a back to back nirvana facial and cbd massage. It was my first facial & Anna was amazing! She asked me questions about my skin type and routine to personalize the facial to my needs. Tiffany did a wonderful job on my massage, making sure to provide extra care to the areas that needed it. She even showed me stretches for my back pain at the end. Overall great business!

So far I have come here for the infrared sauna! The girls are the front desk are sweet and always have the room nice and clean for my appointment!The owner Taralyn is amazing! If you’re wanting an affordable spa service for a pick me up this is the place to go! If you have only ever been to a regular sauna this is a must and a game changer for your skin and recovery.If you’re looking for a massage recommendation I have been a fan of Colleen for massage and will always recommend her. I had such a wonderful experience here! I booked with Linda for a full body massage. I got there and the space was beautiful and clean. The receptionist was friendly and Linda came out to greet me after just a few minutes. She was very thoughtful and walked me through the entire session before we began making sure I was comfortable with everything. Linda was super knowledgeable and had some great techniques. She was also very kind and friendly. The overall massage felt amazing and I left feeling so relaxed! Will definitely be coming back!

I got the CBD massage and I didn’t think this place was worth it. The massage was shorter than what I paid for. The masseuse talked a lot during the massage, and didn’t focus on the area that I requested. Instead the focus was really only on one area. Everywhere else just felt rushed. Overall, it just wasn’t a relaxing experience unfortunately. The place is really nice inside so that was the plus!

I’ve been here a few times and all experiences are amazing. Tiffany really did her magic on me yesterday, and I’m feeling so good (now that I’m back to real life to judge it) that I had to come back and talk about it. She has the gift. Book her now. I had the Nirvana facial and it was a wonderful experience. I fell into a deep state of relaxation during my facial and arose from my meditative slumber with a fresh and glowing complexion! I have very sensitive skin and this facial was perfectly curated to cleanse, hydrate and nourish my face without any irritation or redness. I saw immediate improvement in my skin right after the facial. The Esthetician, Liz Rivera, who performed my facial was excellent and attentive and very knowledgeable on how to customize my facial to meet my needs. I will definitely be returning for more services!

Saw great reviews here and booked on a whim for my birthday. I had Stephanie as my therapist and she was incredible. I prefer strong pressure and she did not disappoint. I also appreciated the stretching mid massage, which brought everything to a new level. I walked hope with a huge derpy smile. Amazing.

Every visit to Nirvana Wellness Med Spa has been a joy. I typically book a customized massage or facial, and have used their infrared sauna, all of which have been excellent. Most recently, I had a 90-minute massage with Leah, who will be my new go-to. Their prices have remained very competitive for the area, and the front desk associates are always kind and welcoming.My only wish is that their place was big enough to offer a larger lounge area/amenities, but realize they are limited with the layout of their building. Nirvana is still my go-to above other spas that do offer larger lounge/amenity options!

This spa is nothing short of amazing. Taralyn has been my go to esthetician since 2019 and has really helped me with my skin. I trust her every recommendation both on treatment options, as well as products! The customer service and the front desk staff are outstanding, making you feel right at home from the second you walk in the door of the spa. I will never go anywhere else!

The business is very clean! Staff very nice and welcoming. I got my husband a massage with Holly, who first discussed his medical history and then helped him choose the best massage for what he was looking for, which was relaxation. She was so good he fell asleep right away. Usually my husband is the talkative type and I had to make him promise not to talk her ears off. He fell asleep and when it was time to turn over he fell asleep on the other side. We were very satisfied with the service

Ann was AMAZING! I called last minute because my neck was sore and got a same day appt. Anns hands are so strong! She listened to everything I wanted and i felt looser and lighter as I walked out the door. The space is clean, the music was calming and receptionist was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Nirvana med spa has a great ambiance & friendly staff. I’ve been serviced by them for a few months as I worked my way up with chemical peels. The esthetician that serviced me for those few months left & I was assigned a new friendly esthetician. Im not new to chemical peeling, acids and acid peel wipes even BEFORE Nirvana. However, the level 2 peel I was given left 2 very large hyper-pigmented spots on my forehead. As a woman of color, hyper pigmentation is FIERCE! The peel was applied as a vigorous scrub that I felt was too harsh for that level of peeling and it was a self neutralizing peel which was a bit odd. But I TRUSTED it.I understand acids aren’t created to comfort the skin. However, the healing process was MISERABLE. My face sting & burned for 3 days followed by an itch so severe I thought I needed Benadryl. Needless to say, I’m back at square 1…

Northern Liberties desperately needed an upscale spa, and it finally got one! The space is beautiful, quaint, and extremely clean. I had a 60-min customized facial and Taralyn made sure to combine a few different treatments to meet my skin’s needs. The products she used are top notch and if you have super sensitive skin like mine, you’re safe here! Overall a great experience. The fact that it’s a family-owned small business just adds one more reason to keep me coming back ;-)

I have been seeing Taralyn for facials for about 2 or 3 years now and I can’t recommend her enough. The space she has created at Nirvana is beautiful, clean, and so relaxing. Every time I get a facial from her my skin is left look rejuvenated and has greatly improved over the past couple of years. She has also recommended amazing products that have greatly improved the overall appearance of my skin, combined with her professional advice and facials I now finally feel comfortable with the appearance of my skin without make up. I certainly felt as if I had visited NIRVANA after I experienced the most wonderful, relaxing, rejuvenating and uplifting services. From the time I first walked in, and was greeted warmly by the staff, and the owners, Joe and Taralyn, and felt the welcoming atmosphere, to the end of the day, when I felt like I was floating and stress free, it was an experience I cannot wait to have again.The massage therapist, Terica, gives the best massage I have ever had (and I have had many). Not only does she give an outstanding massage, but she is gifted in pinpointing the exact spots where I was experiencing the most pain and then alleviating it. I could feel her inner warmth and caring through her gifted hands.I then received a HydraFacial from Liz who is also very knowledgeable, gifted and caring. Her facials are absolutely through and revitalizing. My face was glowing by the end of our session.I also experienced the Infrared Sauna with the Halotherapy and the Chromotherapy. The Himalayan Salt and the Colors from the special lights, that coincided with my Chakras, cleansed my pores and helped to realign my bodies vibrations.I cannot wait to return to experience more of their services. I love that they have an Accredited Medical Physicians Associate and Nurse Practitioners on staff also.

Do not recommend the waxing services. I just had a horrible eye brow appointment with Adrianna R. I sat down and asked for a “clean up and please do not take much off” and I finished the appointment with HALF MY EYEBROWS. Absolutely no attention to detail to the customers needs and Adrianna didn’t listen whatsoever. Just did what she wanted. Very frustrating and horrible customer experience.Furthermore, the business texted me after this review was posted to pressure me to take the review down. Very unprofessional.

I’ve been going to Nirvana since they opened in summer 2020, when my old place was closed. Every treatment I’ve received (facials, massage, reiki, sauna) have been truly magnificent. Taralyn gives excellent advice (both life and skincare!) and will recommend products to continue that post facial glow, not just to upsell. I always look forward to my appointments because I know I will be completely pampered and learn more about how to correctly care for my skin as I approach 40. My skin is the best it’s ever looked, even when I was paying way more at another place. Taralyn and Joe are honest and hardworking business owners who only want the best for their clients. You are treated respectfully and never feel like you HAVE to buy products (but you’ll want to!) 10/10 and all the gold stars to Nirvana!

I had a 60 minute customized facial with Katie and was really pleased. Katie is extremely knowledgeable, provided skincare recommendations, and there was even some massage thrown in with the facial. It was a really great hour, I definitely recommend Katie and Nirvana.

LOVED my facial at Nirvana with Gina and am so happy that this little slice of heaven opened in this neighborhood. The facial was amazing and so relaxing. Gina was so kind and very knowledgeable - Im a bit of a skincare novice and she took the time to explain everything to me and suggested a skincare routine that even I can handle. Cant wait to come back for another facial and will definitely be trying out their other services.

After buying a new face wash that was too harsh for my skin, I chemically burned myself one day before I had to attend a wedding (I know nothing about skincare). I was left with red, dry, flaky and irritated skin. Every moisturizer I tried to use burned even more, and I couldnt apply any makeup to cover the redness since my skin barrier was ruined. In a frenzy, I sent a message to Nirvana on Instagram hoping they could get me in first thing the next morning before the wedding. The owner, Taralyn, responded IMMEDIATELY and said I could come in for an Express facial (30 min). She was extremely responsive, and asked me questions about what products I used etc. My esthetician, Liz, was very knowledgable and gentle, and knew just what to do. She boosted my face up with moisturizing products and a cooling mask. Even though I was scheduled for 30 minutes, Liz stayed with me for about 50 minutes to treat my skin. While it takes weeks for the skin barrier to fully heal, Lizs work jump-started that process for me, and I saw immediate results. Hours later, and with a layer of Aquaphor as an extra primer, I was able to apply a thin layer of makeup to somewhat cover the redness for the wedding. Days later, my skin is looking and feeling much better. I dont know what I would have done without this treatment, and I will definitely be back for more!

This was my first time getting Botox so I was a little nervous, but Francesca and Sophia made me feel so comfortable with my experience! Ive been here twice so far, and I love it. I always leave with glowing skin. Katie, the esthetician Ive seen, is very knowledgeable about skin care and has given me great tips and advise on how to get my skin where I want it to be. Also, I love that she doesnt try to upsell me on expensive products just to get a sale. She explains what is good an bad about certain ingredients in skin care, and suggest products in all price ranges.

Just had my first massage ever with Leah, she was fantastic! I have been suffering from chronic pain for the past year and Leah had me walking out feeling more relaxed and comfortable than I have been in any recent memory. Really great place, I definitely recommend it!

I have never gotten a massage like Colleen gave me. It was amazing. She is very sweet and personable. I didnt ask for any modifications but she listened to my body & adjusted where she saw fit. 5 stars doesn’t even begin to cover it. I’ve been seeing Taralyn for almost a year now and she has SAVED my skin. After the first visit I was hooked, my skin is so much healthier. I had struggled with acne. It’s virtually gone now and the occasional cycle related breakouts clear up so much faster now too. I call her my skin angel for a reason! I came in for a 30-minute IF sauna session and wow, it felt so good to just sit still and sweat! The color-customizable space felt very rejuvenating and eased my midweek tensions. An easily accessible venue and along a quiet area of NoLibs, I highly recommend!

I had the best experience here! I got a massage and facial for my birthday and was nervous about potential COVID exposure. I felt so safe! This small boutique spa makes it easy to social distance and all of the staff were decked out in PPE, so I was able to completely relax. I had such an amazing experience here. The staff is wonderful & Jamara is the best! I had the dry brush massage. It was such a soothing experience & left me feeling like a slinky after. The facility is nicely decorated & clean & the rooms are large. Highly recommend!

I want this space for my home! High ceilings, exposed brick, wooden floors, pop of turquoise here and there. I’m a fan of simple and elegant decor ... but when it comes to massage, please by all mean necessary mix it up and restore my body back to sanity! The massage therapists here are the real deal. Meredith customized my massage with sports massage techniques, cupping and reiki- she intuitively knew where I was blocked & restricted. As a massage therapist I am overly critical of massages, so when I am left speechless - that’s telling you everything you need to hear! So excited for the sauna and for some serious facials in the fall with IPL. Thank god for medical spas

I use to come here for massages with Aminah but ever since she left it’s not the same. Staff never stay long here.

Please stop emailing and calling me in response to a cancelled appointment that I called to explain about. The response over this situation has been outrageous and inappropriate. A full blown emotional response when I called, repeated phone calls, voicemails, emails, writing to me about my review, and searching for information about me on the internet. I will not use your business again, please do not use my personal information going forward either. You received a 1 star review for your treatment of a loyal customer for over a year and the ongoing communication afterward.

Great space and environment , everyone has always been very friendly. A bit noise given the way the rooms are set up. But this is still my number one spa my husband and I go to everytime.
