My friends and I visited this club two months ago, but we were not allowed in and had to leave. Recently, we tried again, but faced problems once more. The security guards, who appeared to be biased based on our nationality, told us they didn’t like us without giving a reason. When they started speaking in Arabic, I couldn’t understand them since I don’t speak the language. Later, we discovered that we were required to pay $16 per person, which was to be given to the security guards in addition to the entrance fee. I have never encountered such an issue in any other club. I ask the manager to address this situation with the security staff and ensure that such discriminatory practices do not occur in the future.
A lot of drunk girls here are easy to score if you just find the right one. Also lots of desperate gays who will pay for your cover & buy you drinks as well.Great place for a night out with your buddies for free drinks and fun.
The bouncer had a rather amusing approach. They employed a forensic light for entry inspection, which, interestingly, has the capability of detecting bodily fluids, such as those present on ones hands. There is a cover charge, but its open until 3:30 AM, so thats fair.
It’s sad because I used to love coming here so much, but after losing my wallet, knowing it was there through AirTag, and having the employees and manager lie to me about having it / saying “it’s too busy” to even look for it is insane. The dismissiveness from the employees is ridiculous, and they lie to you straight up while being so sweet. This has truly saddened me, as it seems like for pride weekend there must have been some kind of wallet stealing operation coming out of this club because at the airport to go home I heard of numerous other people having the same story as me, at this club; receiving the same treatment. As a staple of the local community this is sickening, and whoever is ring leading this should be ashamed.
OMG! If you want to have a RAVING good time! go here! the cost was $30 which wasnt too bad but I feel they can have some specials for ladies. The drinks were STRONG! The bartenders definitely do not mind making sure you get all the liquor in your drink. The DJ was great and there is always enough room for people to spread out and have a great time. I will come back to this place!
I was a regular at this spot from 2013-2018 or so. Finally went back last night and the disgusting security guard literally pushed me with crazy strong force to the side after searching me to enter. Like are you kidding me? Literally was thrown. I always heard about the security guards but that’s harassment and disgusting as hell. You guys need to fire your whole security staff because I could have cracked my head right on the street. Are you nuts?????
Tried to enter the club for the first time. when i hand my id to security guy he wouldn’t let me go in and when i asked why he literally yells and says no i was so shocked like i was born and raised in this country and i never seen this kinda racism before.Extremely rude and disrespectful
Club itself was whatever but shoutout to the staff who helped us get a friend outside jul 12 since we could not carry them out. double thanks for checking in and bringing water out -- as he said, yall were real ones.
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️🚫🚫🚫🚫WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING🚫🚫🚫⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ DO NOT GO HERE‼️‼️If 0 was an option. It would be given 0 stars. Multiple phones were stolen on Saturday May 25th. Pick pocketing is a serious thing and it is happening here. It is unsafe, and this place should NOT be open for operation. We came out of the club along with atleast 8-12 other people who had their phones stolen. Something is not right nor safe about this place. And it seems as if the bouncers or management are in on this tactic as none of the security nor management seem to be concerned about the terrible things that are happening within this establishment. How sad and pathetic. People expect to go into a club to enjoy themselves with their friends and they leave upset and even worse, in a total panic because theyve had their money and phones STOLEN.DO NOT STEP FOOT INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. AND QUITE FRANKLY, I HOPE WHOEVER IS RUNNING THIS PLACE GETS SHUT DOWN, AND ARRESTED. There is bad KARMA waiting for you out in the world. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I would say do better but you clearly want this to be happening.Read the reviews, please DO NOT GO HERE. ⛔️⛔️⛔️⚠️⚠️⚠️🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫‼️‼️‼️‼️
Super racism and discrimination. Because we were not American citizens, we were not allowed in the club. Its incredible, I didnt think I would see this in such a friendly country. Security guards were aggressive towards us, what a shame in the 21st century.
My niece slipped down the steps from someone spilling their drink & the bouncers jumped to help her. They even replaced the drinks she spilled. Service, music & drinks are the best!!! We cant wait to go back
There is a bald black security who is the “manager” screaming at people for no reason and let people to get in on his mood .. he didn’t let me in for no reason… and I asked why not ??! he just not talking not giving me a reason … please don’t hiring trash people for this business .. because we love this place for long time … thank you I hope the owner see my review
The vodka cranberry I got was just vodka water because they ran out of the cranberry. Bartender already charged me and refused to make me something that actually tastes good. I took my eyes off my friend for one second and the bouncers kicked her out. I had her cellphone, Wallet and keys so she had no way home and no way to reach me. I finally found her 45 minutes later outside. Ruined the whole night. The whole club was whack until 1:30 anyway. Music was medium bad with very few exceptions but how hard is it really to play some classics that make you wanna dance. For a gay club there were still a ton of men grabbing my friend trying to take her away which was just gross and not what I expect from gay clubs. Overall terrible club. Oh and their basement wasn’t open on a Saturday? Be so for real. Do better or close.
Love this place, drinks are expensive and cover charges add up but if you want to be out after 2am Thur-Sun this is the place to be
This place needs New Management!!!! The customer service is horrendous! I tried to make conversation with one of the bouncers, nope huge mistake. Whatever I said, must stroke his ego because next thing you know I was being thrown out of the line. I tried to apologize, but they still were rude and told me that my night was over coming into their spot! I’ve been to this place multiple times, and I’ve never seen security act like this. I can’t believe this place still is open with such horrible customer service and don’t let me get started on the inside.
We have been kicked by the security due to a Racism case, he claimed he is the manager, yet he is just a basic employee.
Halloween night it was advertised on Instagram that if you arrived before 1am entry was free. They charged us $20 for entry. It was overcrowded, gross, I and many others were annoyed about their Instagram post not being upheld about the free entry. Very. Sad. Bartenders were great tho.
Protect your belongings and yourself and enter at your own risk!!!! No security, pickpockets, and terrifying, predatory men everywhere. $35 cover for the most rancid, unsafe vibes you could imagine.
Two of my friends almost got kidnapped at this club on separate occasions. It’s so unsafe. The bouncers are also SO RUDE and and will catcall you to your face. I got shoved into a wall bc they tackled someone to the floor and got yelled at afterwards. I have not recommended this club to friends and be assured I never will
Im not even from here never been to the night club either probably never will but this place need to look at their reviews and do some serious reflecting on their customer service and professionalism in the company because if Im being real these reviews are crazy if I was planning on going Im or ever near by I wouldnt one thing about running a business your customers experience and reviews matter big time never seen a place get so much backlash on violence rudeness stolen items harassment ect. for that alone Ill give a negative review just to show that reviews matter when it come to new customers and visitors.
This place is terrible. The security guards kicked out a group of 6 of us while we were just standing around dancing. When we tried to ask why we were being kicked out, instead of answering they escalated the situation, shoving us and screaming at us to leave. My one friend was shoved so hard by the guard she fell to the ground and dropped her wallet. So not only did they kick us out for doing nothing but they also made us wait for over an hour in the rain outside to get her wallet back. The outdoor security was very nice and helpful but the indoor guards were unreasonably aggressive and rude and from talking to people outside that night we were not the only group this happened to.
Thee best night club! Multiple floors so your able to interact with different people and music. I love the bar service and how quick and respectful they was! Definitely recommend for a great night out with friends. Also there food options in walking distance too!!
Bartender chucked my card across the bar after not tipping for a $14 shot 🤡
We couldn’t get in with European ID, and were asked to show our passport..Cover was 30$ before midnight, while the club closes at 3.30… no regret
Pick pockets everywhere. At least 10 phones stolen last night may 25th. Sad
Overrun with shady people lining the wall looking for phones to steal. I know multiple people who lost their phone there and now it happened to me. Grabbed right out of my back pocket and immediately shut off. The staff knows of this issue and has done nothing to correct it. They might be in on it honestly. Very shady.
DONT GO HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!! The security/bouncers at this place are power hungry wanna be cops. I wish I saw the amount of reviews mentioning assults commited by staff, because I would have thought twice before paying $30 to get in. When I was there a male security gaurd came into the bathroom and shoved me into the wall because I was in his way. He then refused to tell me what his name was. When I made a complaint to his manager he said that I was unscrewing lightbulbs. When I said how ridiculous that was the manager said nothing is going to happen its your word against his. After they closed, while outside the same man who pushed me started to video tape me on his phone. This place is weird and they do not care about their patrons at all. Not to mention drinks and cover are extremely over priced.
Cover is too expensive, overpriced, uncomfy on my end because people kept touching me and my friends. I have been here before and it was pretty cool but last night when we went here the vibes were weird and random people kept touching us.
PEOPLE STAY AWAY!!!First off it’s expensive to get in secondly the bartender was extremely rude. Once you pay for their overpriced drinks they demand a tip (“because they put extra alcohol”) and if you don’t tip them they’ll curse at you and call you broke. Very unprofessional ruined our whole night. I would love to talk to there manage to give me a refund for mistreating me and my family. Never again would I step foot in that place and I hope you don’t either!
Went on Friday with some friends, and had a wonderful bartender named Kevin! Drinks were excellent and he was so kind!! The cover fee and drinks were a little pricey but it’s center city and they are after all open later than most clubs so I can understand!
First and foremost over priced to get into the club. Drinks are mediocre at best. It is time to get a new tank, the juice is flat. The super buff bar tender on the second level was very disrespectful to me. He told me to leave the bar once I asked if he could remake my drink when I told him it was very watery. I am completely confused at this point to why I am being told to leave when I just want another drink. He then gets security on me to escort me away from the bar. It was almost as if he’s never got any complaints on his drinks before and mine ruined his day or was this racism right in front of my eyes?? I waited about 20 minutes for him to even acknowledge me at the bar before I even got my drink. I felt discriminated of my race being that I was the only black person at the bar. That behavior is completely disrespectful and unprofessional and I will not be back. For this club to be LGBTQ friendly I would never expect to be discriminated against in a setting like this. Get it together.
READ THIS BEFORE GOING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a SERIOUS PROBLEM with people pickpocketing and stealing your belongings straight off of you. Friendly word of advice, be aware of your surroundings at all times. People that seem friendly and want to dance with you and talk to you may very possibly have ulterior motives. This happened to me not too long ago, a bunch of guys bumped into me and I felt my bag unzip and they stole my phone straight off of me. I know that this has happened to A LOT of others also. There was no assistance from the staff with this matter either. So just some advice watch your bags at ALL times, I believe theres a bunch of these people working together to target people who are intoxicated or vulnerable.Look out for sketchy single dudes dancing around you trying to grab your bags. If you just stand and look you will be able to see who they are. They look like they don’t belong in there anyway.Beware of Indian, Pakistani, Arab dudes that stand around either alone or in pairs.
I found myself in Center City Philadelphia on a Thursday night looking for a place to dance. I had such a fun time here dancing right up until 3:20! This is a large nightclub reminiscent of the best of the clubs that existed in queer nightlife culture’s heyday. The lighting was spectacular and the DJ was PHENOMENAL. The crowd was rowdy and fun and everyone seemed happy to be there and having a good time. Left Philly feeling that my spirit had been lifted from all the dancing, joy and community I saw on the dance floor here late at night. I will be back the next time I’m in town!
Not a safe place to go for man/women. Please avoid this place! People will steal your belongings from your purse or pockets without you noticing. I was there 07/09/2022 and someone stole my iPhone and credit card from my purse. I was not even drinking alcohol, it was my first time going to this place and first time this happening. Please avoid this dangerous place!
Incredibly fun! $35 cover, crowded yet feels safe, multiple floors each with lots of personality, LGBTQA friendly - can’t wait to go back
Unable to get in with a valid UK drivers licence, was told I needed my passport but the bouncer couldnt explain why. Based off reviews, the bouncers arent trained on foreign IDs and simply cant be bothered. No where does it state on their website that non-American citizens need their passport, very disappointing.
This place is amazing: fun, grate music, nice staff, bouncers are 🔥.It’s a little pricy, like drinks and cover, but the drinks are big, so 🤷🏼♀️.And 25$ for admission is a little too much, but hell they did drop it from 40$ after Woody’s opened up. So props for that.Oh my, I think I spend too much time in this place that I know these details 😅😅Well, enjoy it.
Security was disgusting and discriminatory. Would not let me enter but gave no reason, even after repeated questioning. Extremely rude and disrespectful
0/5 starsDO NOT COME HERE!Someone stole my wallet!!! I went to the bartender and the security guards and they did nothing! They just looked at me and nodded their head. They probably assumed I was just another drunk person but I was completely sober just asking for help. I contacted them through Instagram, no answer. I reported a lost item, no answer. Also, drinks are insanely expensive and a $30 cover is ridiculous for this trash place. This is the worst place I’ve ever been to and I will do everything in my power for them to lose their business. Maybe next time care a little bit more when someone tells you someone lost their wallet. I know they can’t control if someone steals or not but it’s just the fact that none of their staff members cared or helped me. I should’ve called the cops. Worst place in Philadelphia .
We had a fantastic time at Voyeur! We signed up for the guest list via the website ahead of time so the cover was only $10 each. It was dead when we got there at 11:30 but we got a drink from the friendly bartenders and enjoyed the ambience in the lounge downstairs, and the club quickly filled up by 12:30. The main dance area was high energy with the raised dance floor and lasers. The music was fantastic, the drinks were STRONG, so well worth the $$$, and the bartenders were attentive and kind. I was blown away by the security! There were a lot of them on staff, which made me feel safe, and their presence was friendly without being intimidating. Whenever it seemed like something off might happen, they were already aware and asking if we needed help. They even smiled and waved goodbye as we left! We would absolutely come back to Voyeur!!
Its everything we need in a nightclub ! Theres like 4 different rooms with every room having different dance worthy hits.
Spend $35 on cover and have your phone stolen. 0/10Staff was sus about it, other comments seem to allude that security may be in on it as a racket. If cover wasn’t already enough…
Let me tell you guys! This place is worth it do NOT! Let no bad reviews stop you from experiencing this place okay?! First off the atmosphere is amazing! Drinks a little expensive but it’s a bar with ALOT of different types of people what do you expect? Lol. There’s 3 different types of levels, GREAT MUSIC! Just awesome man I swear ! And The bouncers are all GREAT! I don’t care what nobody says on here I lost my ID and they ALL! Helped look for it and we ended up finding my ID and Debit card! So yes It’s worth it!!!
This place is the most racist place Ive been too. The bouncers treat minorities different then other. Please avoid. The security people are also on a power trip and feel like they have the right to harass you for not buying drinks as quickly even with the insane cover cost.
Had to pay a $65 cover? The security guard was a complete a**hole. The floors were all wet so i slipped down the stairs and had to sit down in the lounge area as my back was severely hurt. He starts yelling at me saying I have to go home and cant fall asleep here . Wasnt even sleeping and I explained to him how i fell down the stairs and he tried to kick me out and was yelling at me. Worst club ive ever been too overpriced, dirty , and terrible security would never reccomend. Go ANYWHERE else this place is a scam and gross
Not only have the bouncers always been a problem, but they often brush you aside and make you wait or do something ridiculous for no reason. They made me stand to the side and wait, for what I don’t know, while all my friends went inside as they checked everyone else’s IDsThe bartender didn’t like the tip I gave and yelled at me to come back and fill it out properly. I gave her an extra dollar she didn’t deserve after that. I used to bartend..I tip. It’s very unprofessional and just rude to yell at a customer.Lastly, if you wanna listen to the same 12 remixed songs, this is your place. they don’t play anything else at this over priced establishment.Sad because I used to frequent here but somethings obviously changed and I will no waste my money and time here
It was okay. Definitely not worth the $25 cover charge I was tricked into paying though. I ended up spending $75 in cover charges because of how they advertised the place (gave you a card with no proper info on it that made you think the cover was free) Probably wont be going again.
I was pick-pocketed here and have since found out that it is extremely common. Someone stole my phone and credit card out of my crossbody bag while I was wearing it. It happened to three other people that same night and Ive heard back to back reports have been made over the past few weeks. The staff was no help whatsoever and I got no response when I submitted a stolen item on their website. Apparently this place is notorious for this - be warned!
No star if it was available. Folks beware this is a set up spot. No security and these hungry sinners will befriend you then, rob you. THIS CLUB IS VERY DANGEROUS. Owners and workers all in cahoots.
Really nice open space with a gorgeous patio. The entry to the dance floor are is big and spacious too but the best part is the dancing area. The music is fun but if you cant dance just watching the professional dancers and their creative choreography is fun enough! Everyone we went with really loved this club!! Definitely on the go back list!
Ridiculous cover - advertised as 25, changed to 40 then got charged $50 each at 10 pm. Drinks were pricey and the music was basic. Not worth any hype. Super packed inside and the guards were not checking for vaccination cards. No one was wearing masks.
CAVE: PASSPORT FOR FOREIGN COUNTRIES NEEDED!!!We were there on a pub crawl - and coudnt enter the location. It was a Philly best of bar crawl and we were not notified about this.THEY DONT ACCEPT foreign IDs or DRIVER LICENSES.
If I could leave less than one star I would! This place is a horror show. The amount of money you gotta spend just to walk through the door is ridiculous. My son was recently there and had his credit card and phone stolen and I believe he was drugged. He never made it home that night. He woke up the next morning OUTSIDE IN THE MIDDLE of the sidewalk. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB!!!! ITS NOT SAFE!
Fun place. But if you lose something you might as well forget about it. My friend lost his phone there and they told him many times that it was not there when in actuality it was. As we tracked it many times before we went and told them so and they still said it wasn’t there. In addition, one of our friends turned it into them not knowing who’s phone it belonged too. They make it a hassle to retrieve something lost. They make u go online and fill out a lost and found, but they never end up contacting you especially when you know it’s at their establishment. Idk, but it seems like the employees are pocketing them and reselling them, it’s definitely sketchy!
There are too many people there who touch women. We told the bouncer about a man who was following us around and touching us inappropriately and he was never kicked out. It’s really scary there.
BEWARE!! Pickpocketers and predatory people watching you to take advantage!! The club was over priced as well! 35 to get in !!
I was here back in 2019 when my bestfriend and I took a trip to Philly. We had an AMAZING time and we both miss it here to this day! We had a great time on all three dance floors.Hoping for the pandemic to end and we can come back! This place was also open until 4am which was so much fun. After getting drunk and dancing all night, we went next door to Insomnia Cookies and called it a night.
Bouncers and manager are unfamiliar with the definition of hospitality and service. Generally mediocre, wouldnt voluntarily return.
The bartender on the upstairs is very rude! If you don’t tip him he throws things at you and don’t want to serve you anymore! This has been going on for waaay too long now with him and management isn’t doing anything about it. I will not be coming back to this club!
This place had two men positioned outside the door who asked myself and my friend to recite the english alphabet to judge whether or not we were too drunk to come inside. We both recited everything we could remember, however we are both visiting from colombia. We were both sober enough to come inside, but our friends from the US had to talk to the bouncers and explain to them our situation before we were allowed inside. We decided to leave instead.
SOO many predators. Sooo many pick pockets. Soo few security. Be on high alert and enter/pay cover at your own risk.
I used to go to this place before and after the new management and sadly, this place has gone down instead of getting better. Cover is expensive, drinks are as well, music (songs last 30 seconds) and floor is always sticky and smelly 😕 Is not worth it.
I’m reviewing this later, but I haven’t forgotten. This happened May 18th.My 27 year old friend was denied entry to the bar and given 0 reason as to why. He was in so much shock, he didn’t even know what to do. Some background: I live 2 hours away, but when I visit my friend in Philly, we go to Voyeur. This was much first time back in over a year. It’s a tradition to go after any concert, despite the steep cover price, we enjoy Voyeur so much, so it’s worth it. We even signed up to do the guest list before midnight deal! The funny thing is, my friend lives right outside of Philly and frequents Voyeur quite often. In fact, he had just been there 2 weeks prior, and got in perfectly fine, as any regular patron above 21 should be able to.Ok, back to the present. So the bouncer gave no reason, didn’t even speak to us. (I was already cleared to go in at this time, but watching this play out from behind a barrier) The bouncer spent forever looking at his ID, flipping it over, bending it, etc. He was completely rude and just kept shaking his head. There is no reason a 27 year should be denied entry to a club with a perfectly valid ID. Maybe hire some real professional bouncers, who actually know how to tell the difference between a real ID and a fake one, because you’ve just lost multiple patrons. We’ll take our business elsewhere from now on.Ps. Most of the negative reviews are about the bouncers/security. Maybe that would be clue that s o m e t h i n g is wrong here. Hire some people who actually know how to do the job, and aren’t concerned with boosting their ego a bit. They’re not particularly good choices for a gay bar anyway.
Ive been here many many many times. I work night shift and am always up late and this place is open latest in the area.Theres some things that are nice about it, theres late night dancing for all types of music and people. Theres cumbia on Sunday nights and three levels of different types of music such as EDM or rap.The problem with this place besides that it is expensive to get in is that usually you will watch the bouncers blatantly disrespect people and on many occasions you will see them be violent.I dont write that lightly but if you are thinking of going to this venue for an event like a 21st birthday or bachelorette party i think that you should consider that its very possible you will get grabbed by one of the staff members and unallowed to get your jacket or things before you leave. The other night I stopped by here with some of my friends and paid to dance to some cumbia. I dont really drink much to be honest with you. On the way out I was listening to a staff member tell someone that they were not allowed to get their jacket before exiting.Since it is very cold in Philadelphia and my keys are in my jacket I turned around to go grab my jacket before leaving. This is when a staff member grabbed my shoulder and dragged me toward him. I yelled because I got scared and he hurt me. I watched him back away from me after that and tell me that I needed to leave. At this point he told me that the manager would meet me outside.Outside, (in the cold/jacketless) the manager comes to talk to me and my very upset friends and tries to reassure me that he will find my jacket. Im very shaken and upset at the unnecessary violence and tell the manager that it is not just the jacket, that there was no reason to grab a girl for no reason. The staff starts telling the manager that I fell and thats why he grabbed me. I didnt fall. If they had any security cameras around the entrance they would see that there was no loss of balance or anything. After the many times Ive gone here, Ive often seen people treated with no respect but I never thought I would be personally involved as Ive never been a violent or loud person. My advice is that if you go here, you should be careful as you arent really seen as a customer here. Ive seen it so many times. Be careful and dont think that it couldnt happen to you or your friend or boyfriend who never gets confrontational because its definitely possible your night could go this direction.
It’s the terrible place I have been ever . Security guards are very rude and everything is super expensive, I definitely don’t recommend anyone to go there
A group of people and i went here for the glow pride party last night and the instagram post stated $10 before 1 am and we got to the bouncer before 1am yet were charged $20 each. after that annoyance i enjoyed the music and dancing but the drinks are expensive
They are prejudice and need a clear explanation of the nightclub rules ! Refunds are nearly impossible. The bouncers/security are VERY rude and disrespectful. I would never recommend this place to anyone. There are several lgbt friendly bars in Philadelphia. Such as tabu and eye candy where me and the people I know always have amazing times. The bouncers are rude and I will never spend another dollar nor anyone I know, in that establishment again.
A nice place to have a good drink 🍾🥂🍺🥃 🍸 with friends and enjoy the Philly nightlife. However, from what I observed the bouncers seriously need to be more professional in how they conduct themselves in regard to their overall etiquette towards partons/customers .
$20 cover to go into an empty club?????
Great time. One of the only late night clubs that stays up late. The multiple floors has different vibes to each
So I started my night off going to another bar(that was closed) and I got stood up by two friends. So I went to the Gayborhood and it was kind of dry so I said F it and went into Voyeur. I paid a $20 cover and $14 for a blue long island. It was still fairly early so there were a few ppl there around 11:30p. I didnt know anyone so I sat in my chair and enjoyed my drink. Someone came up to me and dragged me to the dance floor and it was over from there. My drink was really strong(how I like my drinks), the techno was cool(not my style but alcohol will make you enjoy everything) so I went upstairs to their hip hop room. I had found my happy place. I bought 1 more drink(which was WAYYYYYY better than the drink I had downstairs). The DJ did an amazing job playing all of my favorite songs. Everyone was enjoying themselves. No one made me feel out of place or uncomfortable. I danced my little heart out until about 2:30-3a and I decided to leave because I thought the club would close soon. I dont know what time Voyeur closes, but it looked like the party was just getting started as I was leaving. I had the best night ever. Im still a little shloshed as Im writing this. It was worth every penny!
They are terrible, I went there Saturday night and they just told me walk away without saying any reason. They didn’t take me in . I don’t know if I can sue them.
Violent and volatile staff attacks people unprovoked. Ive watched this happen on many occasions and it finally happened to me. This place is not safe, do not go.
This Venue has hosted a Charity function for a cause that is very important to me and many of my colleagues and friends. Very friendly Manager and support employees. So generous.
DO NOT GO HERE. Me and my friend got roofied and could have been assaulted. I do not trust this place at all. Also our cover was $25 which is just ridiculous for a mediocre club.
Not only an expensive cover. Was getting one of their signature drinks that calls for grey goose. Saw the bartender pouring bankers club and handed me the drink. Asked her if she ran out of the grey goose and told me she read the card wrong. 🙄 Sure.... Shady place.
The security guard at the entrance is so rude. He is a racist who treats white ppl and black girls well. Any other Asian men he is so rude. I don’t feel safe here.
Im 30yrs old and have been going to this club since I was 21 I have always had a good time there Ive even brought friends that never heard of the place to the establishment. I know the bartenders Rob Dom Vuk Alex there all great guys with great service ive known them for years. My experience in voyuer turned sour when I stopped speaking to the head of security Isaac, I greeted him n Woodys and he mustve been n a bad mood so he brushed me off with an attitude like he didnt want to be bothered which was fine so I stopped speaking to him next thing I know weeks later where in Voyuer he pulled me to the side n asked if I had any animosity with him I said no I jus took a step back from him. He told me if u feel like you need to take a step back from me you need to take a step back from this club gave me my admission money back and had me escorted out the club and Isaac told them to not let me back in...just like that. All because I wont greet him anymore Now the security outside Dan, Muhammad, G and etc (who are like my brothers) wont let me in. 9 yrs ive been going to this club and just like that I was banned because of how someone feels about me personally. The only person who tried to help was Alexa shes amazing she is. Besides her no one stood up for me to talk to someone to tell him thats not right and an abuse of power. I cant even meetup with my friends there anymore. So the 2 stars are for Alexa, Bartenders Vuk Rob Alex and Dom, Bouncers G, Muhammad, Dan etc ALL PHENOMENAL PEOPLE. The lack of the other 3 stars are for Isaac and his abuse of power and the (higher) people he has behind him that allow it for someone whos been going there faithfully for almost a decade but its a fun after hour I miss it terribly.
Neat two story bar. Was no line. Went to the second floor and watched the people dance and light show. Music was progressive EDM. Dj was good. Drinks were good but a bit expensive. Crowd was more into dancing than talking. Take a group of friends.
Refused entry based on a valid Canadian Drivers license, but let underaged kids go in. Corrupt. Went in there before about half a year ago, and was dirty and rundown.
Horribly overpriced cover charge and drinks. Hot, stuffy, and not well-ventilated. Mediocre and tacky music. Could be a great club with the space but sadly it is a waste of your time and money.
Will not attend this club AGAIN!Poor service. Bouncers/security were rude and rough with females....Cannot use outer state IDs at this club. Im on vacation and wasnt able to get in.Will be filling complaint on business to the city and the(FBB ). I left several messages and never got a call back so that even worst
Drag show Pride month. The beauty is as bountifully as the good energy. Fantastic production value. Amazing DJ. The bar tenders mix drinks for optimal taste.
Не оправдало мои ожидания за такие $$$(Translated by Google)Didnt meet my expectations for such $$$
The lighting is amazing you really feel the drops
Mostly disco with one or two good songs. I like disco but mixed in with mostly current songs.Came back again and had great time! Its hit or miss!Still want to check out Thursday!
Cool, but very dirty venue.Biggest issue is the security guards, who are disrespectful, aggressive, and plain bad at their job (which admittedly is hard at times, but they shouldnt take that out on all the other patrons).
They scam you at the entrance. Charged my card without even telling me the amount. Insane cover.
The music and lights and Djs are usually good. Lots of dancing on the top floor, get there at midnight and leave by 2 if youre straight. And I am. Or you will be considered available as this is usually seen as a gay club. And it is. But its definitely an interesting time if youre straight and can handle being at a club with men and women that both might hit on you haha. Not for any bigots or the progressively challenged drinkers of philly. The club is in the Gayborhood, so dont be surprised by anything when over on that side. (Written by a heterosexual male)
You all suck terrible people and terrible club
Just based off the reviews i would never go here like its so disgusting to see that so many people have had the same horrible experience and not one response from management. I definitely wont be visiting
If you like to have your phone and wallet stolen, this is the place for you. It happens every weekend to a bunch of people.
Bartender returned the wrong debit card to me. At 4:30 am that night $1000 was stolen out of my bank account using my debit card. Possibly a scheme going on with some of their employees? If you go here only use cash or credit.
I’ve submitted multiple lost item reports, left voicemails, and have gone in person and knocked many times to retrieve my iPhone that was left there with no response
Security discriminated people it sucks
Love this place!!!! Woodys & Voyeur combo is a must if you like to dance in a great atmosphere! Drinks are expensive, but overall is highly recommend this venue!
Dont go here if you have lesbians friends - security let everyone go (no matter the drunkness of some) except my lesbian friend because he said she needed to eat pizza, which she did and he still discriminated even though she doesnt drink at all. But his friends sure went in in our face - shame because Woodys sends you here. I guess Philly is not living in 2017 - Shame
Never go there if youre tourist. They do not except ID cards even if you can show other cards with your name and birth date! They couldnt even explain why they want to see a passport. The bouncers were very arrogant and rude!!!
If you want to get assaulted at the end of the night by a bouncer who was clearly failed by the Philadelphia school system then this is def the place for you. The DJ upstairs is lit though
Lots of recent thefts! Be careful! People who have had their stuff stolen are starting to think an employee(s) might be involved. Im hearing management isnt being helpful.
Tiki makes great drinks. Always friendly and attentive. I always go to her. She son the bar in the right when you go in. 15/10 would recommmend.
Do NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. someone stole my phone in few seconds!! I got out of the place and i saw few more girls crying because someone stole their phone too!!!
I had an amazing time for it being my first time, cover was reduced to 20 since we went to woodys first. Definitely coming back
Great place to hang out great place to make friends and awesome person brought me here for the first time I met them on an Uber ride and it was the best night I ever had thanks to Meagan and her sister Sam they are great people
They charge you an extraordinary cover and then since the owner does not want to let you in, you do not enter, and the reason bc you’re a women misogynist
This club isnt bad, but it gets way to crowded inside. and they took out all the chairs upstairs unfortunately, sometimes its not fun but be prepared to stand up the whole time
Should really tell people you’re closing in 15 minutes instead of charging full price entry regardless. It was 3:20AM and everything went silent. First and last time there.
Different music on each floor so there is singing for every1drinks are a little pricey but its worth it for the amount of liquor in each drink bartenders are really fast so tigers not really any Wait
One of the more fun clubs in the city. Awesome vibes and crowd. Gets crowded. Cool runway looking dance stage. Multiple floors.
Great club in Philadelphia it was a fun night. The $30 cover fee before 12 on Saturday was a little steep.
Ppl working there are really rude. They said my friend’s ID was fake which is not true. Especially, the bald bouncer is extremely verbally inappropriate and harassed my friend. zero star!!!!
It was lit! We had fun
Straight Indians and 9-5 workers infest the place. No longer a safe space for gay people.
Every club l closes, but they won’t let you get you back in to get your clothes. They get aggressive if you ask for your property.
Meansest club in philly. Bouncers took my real id and bent it and then took a video of me threatening me because they were convinced i was underage. I called the cops and they confirmed it was real
If you dont have U.S Id cards you cant get in. This is Discrimination
If we’re paying $35 for cover at least get us a good dj!!
Its an expensive place full of pickpockets. Please take care of your wallet and valuables
My friend was harassed, assaulted, and discriminated against here a few days ago. Don’t go to this place for your safety.
Customer service is horrible. There is a middle eastern man by the door who is disrespectful and tried to grab on me when I was getting in. Please don’t go to this place.
The place is ghetto- enough said. Overpriced, mediocre experience and nothing going on but weirdos
Kicked us out after paying cover to make us pay cover again.
They advertise 2 floors, but they only let you go to one floor. When I asked to speak to a manager about this for a refund, they physically pushed me out of the building. Planning on filing a police report.
Ghetto management at Voyeur. They are not very responsive and they don’t seem to really care about other people or community engagement. Will never go back.
Cant get in touch with anyone during the day. Very frustrating. My son lost his wallet last night. Need to know if it was found today.
Music was good, the staff and bartenders were awesome, and the people where really having fun. Overall awesome club
Immediate no. you will get your credit card or phone stolen here.
My favorite after hours spot in philly, now smoke free and the club underwent renovations updating a lot of the club!
Well, Im mean...Its an after-hours that has dancing. Theres nowhere else to go in the area after 2 so this place is good by default
Drag Shows and rooms for every one. The decor and structure is beautiful and the embodiment of a gay venue.
Always popping but some nights its dead or the music doesnt vibe right.but overall its great 9.5/10
Youll get pickpocketed here. Pretty sure bouncers are in on it.
They are a little disorganized for big events but the drinks are cheap and good and they have great LGBTQ events!
Its a great place but DJ must be fired ASAP
Pricey drinks and entry fee but I guess thats to be expected, awesome stage and atmosphere
The bouncer here wouldn’t let my friend in with an out of state ID. He’s the bald guy that looks disinterested with life
35$ to get in on Saturday night one hour before closing? Why? Are we in Monaco?
Had fun in the beginning, but someone stole my phone.
$35 for the cover charge to get into this place is wack.
Checking out reviews, I realized I will never visit this place. Too many robberiesEverybody watch out
Nice club, good music, only thing is that it gets packed and hard to move around.
Nowhere to park 😐
Awesome place , alot of mixed company loved but they need more bathrooms
Decent nightclub.. but $11 for a shot of vodka? I realize it’s Philly, but come on...
Its really not my type of place to hangout but is very popular
Atrocious cover change for mediocre music and partying.
Bunch of bags, crowd is fun service is terrible... people who work there are worse
My friend and I had a great time but her wallet was stolen.
While it was VERY crowded, this was the highlight of our night. Positive energy all around.
Fun times but pricey! Make sure you are with some quality friends!
Im loving how many 1 star reviews were written for this.here is 5 for the spot of spots
Crazy place, great music, packed crowd, open til 4 am
Place is always super packed good luck getting in. The crowds disrupt traffic as well.
When you black and cant get a drink a voyer shm
Excellent diversity with three levels each very entertaining!!!
Great music and atmosphere
Whats the age limit im hearing 18 to enter and 21 to drink is it true?
Its lit. Very diverse crowd
We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Drag wars is always a great time.
Security guards were kind of rude
Security are trash.
