They have non alcoholic beer!!! The bartender was great! He showed us where we could buy tickets to the show- and also informed us that they are cheaper online. We enjoyed shooting a game of pool before we went in for the laughs. Every set was great! Great environment! 8pm show then we stayed for the improv show at 10. So much fun!!! I’ve never seen an improv show and was impressed! Just traveling through but I would suggest this for anyone who has a Friday night in Minneapolis!
Let me start by saying, the staff was friendly, the environment seemed fun, and it was easy to find.My biggest issue first and foremost, is that at a comedy club, the people sitting there have paid for a good experience. The person at the beginning (as they do at any comedy club) even told the crowd to please be respectful, dont heckle, etc.The people seated directly behind us were the worst people I have ever encountered at a comedy club, extremely loud, rude, and constantly shouting things at the comedians. And I mean constantly. To the point where the last comedian called them out multiple times, he was clearly also pissed off, and yet... still nothing done.Others around us were also very upset. After well over an hour of this nonsense, since nobody at the club was doing anything about these rude and disruptive people, I complained to one of the staff nearby. These people never got kicked out or even talked to about their behavior, and this is why my rating for the club is so low. It is your responsibility to uphold your own rules and ensure the experience people paid for is good. That evening was miserable.A final comment, although this part did not bother me even a fraction of the above... the website (and the people there) informed us we could order pizza and have it during the show. Our table was not approached during the almost 2 hour show until about the last 10 minutes, which makes the offer of serving food at the show pretty pointless. Maybe dont offer it if you cant fulfill it. And in this case, I was absolutely unwilling to stay another minute after the horrible experience we had.I almost never complain and am pretty patient, but this was my first time coming to this establishment, and unfortunately, it will absolutely be my last.
Hilarious comedians, drinks were decent but no real food selection. Other than that I have a blast.
Thank you Laugh Camp for a great evening of laughter and fun. Hadnt been to a Comedy show for years; they were kinda lame. This is the Real deal; real talent.Ill be back!
My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Laugh Camp. Comfortable atmosphere and good comedians. We will be returning for sure.
It was a great venue, very eclectic ambiance with great acoustics. There is a bar with service inside the comedy club as well as an attached bar and seating. Definitely worth checking out and having some good laughs.
Came to open mic night on a date and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at the amazing local talent that performed. The performance lounge is cozy and intimate and the bar area is great for a casual late night drink or two. Will definitely be back.
Thoroughly enjoyed my date night at Camp Comedy night. We were seated right next to the stage which made us apart of the act and it was so much fun! Easy and quick entrance, good drinks, and the pizza was good. Would definitely come for another show!
First time being at this venue. Service to get tickets, online was super easy. The show happened in the back area of the bar, and the sign yo get to the room is very visible as are the signs for restrooms. There is a bar and wait staff, which were all super convenient and the staff were fantastic. The area is super cute, but it does get really warm and fast. The show I saw was in the winter. I wore a sweater and if the show was any longer or the room was more full, I wouldve been really uncomfortable. Parking is easy to find and cheaper than dwtn mpls. I would definitely go here again. Also, they have open mic nights and amateur nights. Definitely a spot to frequent.
Ive been coming here for 6 years now. Im a picky customer and have never been disappointed. I recommend this place for anyone who enjoys the arts, a smaller venue where every seat is a good one. I can actually afford going here whenever I want, which is a huge bonus. The drinks are definately worth the money.
In town for a little vacation to see my favorite comedy podcast live. I found aout about this open mic from digging online. My fiancé and i had a good time at the open mic got to hear some funny stuff. The host Skee, was so professional, had a good attitude kept up the energy. Was a really nice guy. The place had a energy of support for locals and their craft wether it be comedy or music or poetry. Like a family. I wish i could come more often and i hope people come support them!
We saw 2 comedy shows two weekends in a row. I enjoy going to the Laugh camp. Easy to purchase tickets online, parking is available across the street, the staff is laid back, and friendly. Thank you for having someone usher everyone to their seats. That eliminates confusion, and allows the show to start on time. Drinks are reasonably priced. We will most definitely return !
Awesome venue. We saw Alex Ortiz and felt great that The Laugh Camp Comedy Club brought in such a big name!! we are hoping to see him there again in the future. Also, the bartenders in teh club were great!
Venue was great! Very clean. Came to see Aaron Weber, and he was hilarious! Came 20 minutes early for a good seat, but you can pay for a reserved table and seats if you wish. Im not much of a drink connoisseur, but the cocktail was good 😊 Would come again!
Love this small venue for seeing comedians! Ive seen a few acts here and theyve all been funny, from the big names to the lesser-known local acts. Plus theres great food next door, so it its easy to make it a fun date night with dinner and a show.
Great spot! Went with friends and had a great time. Went early and enjoyed drinks, pizza at bar and played a round of pool. Comedy show was on par with what you would see in a Chicago or NYC club ( Caitlin Peluffo-Steven Rogers-Ciana Violet) if you want to have fun and laugh GO to Camp!!
Had a great time seeing #AlonzoBoden at the Camp Bar recently. It was my first time there and really liked the atmosphere. Not pretentious, just comfortable. The show was in another room that was perfect sized and cozy. Best comedy club Ive been to. And the staff are hardworking and efficient. Thanks,Camp Bar. We are looking forward to our next visit
For her 27th birthday last week, I treated my daughter to her first ever VIP-seats comedy show - Jimmy Dore. Aside from a good hour-and-a-half of great laughs as well as the meet-n-greet post show, we were also very impressed with the attention and professionalism shown by Laugh Camps staff. Would highly recommend and definitely return for more comedy.
Great venue! Cozy and intimate, yet not crowded. All seats have a great view. Staff were friendly and attentive. Saw Aaron Weber and Joe Kelley who were hilarious! Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere, great comedians, friendly employees. Have been twice for date nights and will go back. Since we drive a couple hours we stay at a hotel around the corner and walk which is perfect for us!
I caught Duane Perkins on 11/12.Fun room, great show. Staff was generally great - one of the bartenders was a little curt, but it was a sell-out house, so I couldnt blame him. Our bartender, and the rest of the staff, were awesome.I docked them a star for having the chairs jammed together so tightly - but I get it, they gotta make bank. It was...a little *cozy* for my midwestern sense of space, but not uncomfortably or claustrophobically so.Glad to see theyve dialed back on some of the Covid paranoia. All in all, for a club I didnt know existed 12 hours before the show, I had a really great time. Looking forward to going back soon.
It was a nice room. Comfy and intimate setting. I could see the stage well from where I sat. I made my reservation online and they had my name on the list at the door when we checked in and showed us to our reserved table. Fun night!
Great show - Zainab Johnson - great lead up comics, too. We reserved a table and when we got there someone else was sitting at our seats, but they asked them to move for us. That doesnt always happen, so I am grateful that they do that.
Our visit was a last minute decision that I’m glad we made. I hadn’t heard of the comics performing but I’ll remember them now! We chose to get a reserved table. We got lucky and sat right by the stage. It was so much fun and we laughed until our stomachs hurt! It was a great time and I highly recommend it!
Great comedy show. Im always amazed that they can draw some great national talent. Tim behind the bar is the best! Never fails to keep up with demand. Now update the weird deco in the main bar area so more people will stick around and drink after the show. A dead deer with a cheesehead? A mermaid? Looks like an identity crisis. Camp as in sleeping in a tent or Camp as in Caberet?
My friend, husband and I had the best time at the Club. Ive lived in St. Paul for awhile, but never knew this gem existed. They had a great act and all seats could clearly see and hear. I urge you to give it a try!
Great venue! Went last weekend to see Samuel J Comroe. The show room is cozy and I love the in room bar! Service was great before, during and after the show. Would def recommend!
We had a great time seeing Dusty Slay at Laugh Camp Comedy Club last weekend. Staff were great, it was convenient to hang out at Camp Bar for a drink before hand, and the seating/sight lines of the venue were good. The show was also hilarious. Ill be following their schedule to check out more shows in the future!
Its always such a pleasure to come here. They have the best TOP comedians in the business. I fit it in my schedule to come around CAMP every time come back home to St Paul -which is pretty often. Thanks alot Camp, we love you.Sincerely Two Gay Guys who’ve been together for over 30 years.
Alonzo Bodden was right-on with the social commentary, and hilarious- I havent laughed that much in a long time! The Camp Bar is a great comedy venue- big enough for good energy, but small enough to feel intimate. The drinks were really good too! Id definitely go back.
Big fan of Laugh Camp! Its a great place to go for a night out in the Twin Cities. Funny comics, great taps, and a wonderful space where there is no bad seat. Shows are fun and tickets are affordable
The venue, service and staff were great! The show was hilarious! Kept us laughing the whole time! Both acts were fantastic! Lots of regional humor. I recommend! 5 stars!
5/5 stars. Friendly staff, great service, fantastic venue. To top it off, the host and comedians were super funny. I had to wipe tears away 🤣 on multiple occasions! Great time, would highly recommend!
My group of 4 had the best time at the comedy show, the bartenders and staff were absolutely fantastic! Really cool space, with the best energy! Thanks for being so great!🙂
This was a great establishment, could not ask or experienced a better time at the laugh camp very simple to get to in location and it’s right off the freeway. Just jot down the block from tons of great restaurants to get dinner at before a show. The comedian’s were making you die laughing so hard too. Highly recommended for frameless comedians.
So lucky to have venues in so many different areas of the cities. Live Comedy is a great evening out. The headliner at Camps was Jamie Blanchard and his act was great as was the whole show. The show was certainly a 5 and the venue had only a few rough edges.
Attended 10/8/22 and was not impressed! 😢 The sound system with only the 1 speaker is AWFUL! The 1st two comedians held the microphone right to their mouths which seemed to overpower the speaker (it sounds like maybe the cone or the voice coil is blown out?), which made them VERY hard to understand their performance … caught/understood maybe half of what they said. 3rd guy held the mic chest high and at least he was much more understandable. Maybe adjust the volume controls better? Either way, adjust speakers for the voice range, not the “rock’n out” range!
We have attended 4 comedy shows at the Camp bar. We refer to it as going “Camping”. You cannot beat the atmosphere or the quality of comics. So impressed. Come down and see a show, support live comedy.
Great little bar and comedy room! We have been to comedy shows all over the world and came here to see Dusty Slay. Opening and middle act were super funny too. Intimate comedy room that reminded me of Altantas Laughing Skull Lounge. Will be coming back here again.
The venue was great! The comedians were so funny. It was a nice intimate space with a waitress coming around for drinks. I would definitely go back and I recommend this to anyone wanting their cheeks to hurt from laughing so hard.
A great place with great comedy. We’ve seen three shows since January and all were so fun and funny. High quality, great staff, and all around good time! Highly recommend.
We had a great time! Great drinks, great comedians. Very affordable. Well worth the night out. We will definitely be back again.
The comedy show I attended was awesome!! The club and bar itself is clean and spacious. The staff was very nice and attentive!
Had a great experience! Super cute setup, bar and pool table in the front then comedy club closed off in the back! Great decor! Respectable variety of beer, wine and cocktails! Highly recommend!
Went here for a show and it was a great experience. Bar tenders were all great, drinks were great, and atmosphere was great. Would definitely go back for a show or some drink specials!
We had an amazing night! All three performers were awesome! Packed house. Definitely going back soon.
This was my first time at this venue and it made for a great night. The show was awesome and the service was just as good. Will definitely be coming back!
Beware if you are using a Groupon. There are no details on Groupon stating this, but apparently tickets need to be purchased well in advance for the show of your choice, which is inconvenient if you work every Friday and Saturday in a job there’s no guarantee you’ll be off at the same time each day like my husband does. I intended to redeem my Groupon that evening before the show when I could guarantee (with work schedules) we’d be able to attend. Sales had already ended online. “Katie” responded to my email informing me that they also limit how many Groupon offers they allow per show, and that even if sales hadn’t ended we would NOT have been able to get tickets to that show that night because they had already reached their quota on Groupons for that particular date. Hopefully the comedy show is decent, I may never find out if I can’t get tickets before my Groupon voucher expires.
I saw Steve Hofstetter here. It was the best stand up show that ive ever been to. Unfortunately, this club is in the city and parking is a problem. I parked in the structure close by and couldnt find a way back in, I had to walk all the way around the building. It was dark and I was accosted try to get back to my car. I was so glad I had Steves books with me to use as a defense. But, I got inside the building okay and got to my car. Ill never be coming back here alone. As a woman it is terrifying to walk alone in the city at night. I hope Steve picks a more accessible venue with parking and better lighting for his next performance. Nothing against this venue, they were lovely, its just the area they are in is terrifying.
First time here and really enjoyed it. All 3 comedians were great.Nice atmosphere all around. I shall be back !
Weve seen a bunch of comedy shows at Camp over the years. Great entertainment, the venue is perfect, staff is friendly, super easy parking. Weve enjoyed every show!
Its just like you see on comedy shows! Small enough venue to interact with performers but big enough to have great crowd energy. The perfect way to make a memory with friends or a date.
Great venue for comedy in St Paul. Glad to see they continued hosting comedy after Joke Joint left. You can get food from Keys or Sawatdee and the beer selection is great.
Guaranteed mix of fresh and solid comedians with a “something for everybody” line up connected to a local, friendly “Cheers Style” bar with awesome dining options! Dress casually and in layers- you’re going to get warm laughing so hard!
Absolute wonderful comedy venue. Easy access to bar within the venue, wait staff is wonderful and the headliners they bring are phenomenal!
The atmosphere was energy charged with laughter. We really enjoyed the show. Great place for date night.
Great venue for national and regional/local comics. Full bar with real pros mixing the drinks. Friendly and efficient table service.
The Friday night show was great! Loved that everyone was fair game and got a few jabs. Glad that Will Smith wasnt in the audience.
Great show, great service, great venue. Had a great time and will be back. Definitely.
Last minute plan to gead to Lamp Camp Saturday for the 7PM show. Had a blast! Thanks for having comedy back!

What a fun show!! We had a blast. We showed up 10 minutes before showtime and got great seats.

Greatly enjoyed the experience at Laugh Camp! Great staff and the show was funny! I had a great time and I plan on going back again!
Good comics at this venue and nice atmosphere. Only bad thing is the pre show music it too loud and it is difficult to have a conversation.
