This spa has a very welcoming, warm, and calm vibe. the lady (she had a pony tail and bangs) massaging my back was super nice, kept asking me if she was being too rough or if i wanted to change anything, and she was smiling and comforting. while you get your back massaged your feet are in a wooden pale, it was nice but i wish that the water stayed hot but over time it cooled down. once i got the foot massage the lady seemed very dedicated in making sure i was relaxed and i even ended up taking a nap! i love this place and i would come again.

Came here for the first time with my sister-in-law 2 days ago- came back today because it was THAT good. I don’t live in Philly, but I cannot wait to come back to this place. Highly recommend to anyone who needs to relax.

Very relaxing. You never have to make an appointment or wait to be worked on. Its a unique way of getting a message. Youre actually sitting on an ottoman for half the massage with your feet in warm water with spices in it, and a lounge chair for the other half. They can be a little rough, therapeutic, but you just have to tell them to lighten up if thats what you prefer.

Great for groups. There were 7 of us who were accommodated to sit together and all start and finish at the same time. Very kind and professional. Place was spacious and neat. Everyone is quiet. Waiting area has tea or water that you are served with and given menu to choose which herbs you want. Will be back again. 1 hour massage was perfect.

Had to wait 45 minutes without an appointment but that’s our own fault for not calling. Being though it’s called a Foot Spa, we fully expected to get a 50 minute foot massage. Instead they had us soak our feet in wood buckets while they violently “massaged” our backs for 20 minutes. We were both in pain afterward and the next day. I don’t think they are qualified to be doing back massages and I certainly didn’t enjoy it while sitting up, fully dressed in a room full of people. The girls were nice enough but they did talk the entire time which further took away from the relaxing experience we had hoped for. The whole thing was just bizarre.

This place was clean, peaceful and experience. I will say everything isnt for everyone and this experience is not for me. I dont want bash this place they were very nice I just realized that this was something that is not right for me. I thought this was a full foot soak & massage session. Its more like a full body while you are sitting up and soaking your feet massage. The person I had was a bit to rough for me. But as I observed she seem to be no rougher than the others so I am assuming this is their heritage technique of something like that. Once I was able to lay back and get the leg and foot massage, I began to enjoy things a lot more. I went with a friend and we had the same services and she fully enjoyed her experience. In my opinion I say try it once and see how you feel. It it definitely worth experiencing at least once.

Today is the second time that I went to Lavender Foot Spa and it will definitely be my last. The first time I went with a friend and it was an okay experience. I decided to go today and I am in so much pain now. The woman who massaged me was extremely rough and in the moment I did not realize the damage it would cause my muscles. By the time I got home, my neck shoulders and back are in severe pain. It is now 6 hours since my massage and my back has bruises and I can barely move without being in agony.

Second time coming here.Very relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff.I also wore tight jeans that day and they gave me a black loose but comfy pants to change into so they can give me the best experience and massage ! I definitely recommend!

Ive been Lavender Foot Spa twice, and both times Ive had a great experience. At first, I thought it was weird, getting massaged in an open room with other people, but its fine. The atmosphere is relaxing and clean. My first massage was with Tina, she is tiny but SO STRONG! She got deep into my muscles and it really helped me. My second visit was with Ada, he too is very strong and did a great job. I like the foot soak and rub as well, but for me, its all about my locked up shoulder. The spa is affordable and has plenty of parking. Its a nice way to treat yourself!

Lavender foot spa is the best! My family and I go here all the time. Some at least once a week and others once a month at minimum. They have your feet soak while they massage your back. Then they massage your legs. I would recommend you let them know the kind of pressure you want before they start as they are accommodating.

Highly recommended! An excellent and professional massage with friendly staff in a no-frills affordable setting. $40 for a 50-minute massage. Definitely worth the trip.

Yesterday was my second time visiting this spa . The first time was great but yesterday the masseuse I & my boyfriend had was way too rough . We did not ask for a deep tissue massage but got that & more . I told the lady that it hurts and her motions were all the same . We left feeling achy but this morning I’m waking up with so much back pain .I went in just wanting a relaxing foot massage , I came out with back pain & the foot massage was basic at best . Which masseuse you get definitely determines how good your experience will be.

My husband loves this place. Even though everytime I would see him in pain during the massage, but he still loves this place because they know the pressure points and where to massage to relieve his tight knots. I’ve had at least 5-6 different massagers with differences among them. One may be better with back massage and not as good with foot. One might be the other way around. You have to experience different massagers to find which one is best for your needs. But overall they are not bad.They do offers packages like buy 10 get one free types of deals. You would have to talk to the staff or managers about that. I personally think if you’re a recurring customer, you might as well do the package to save in the long run. The package is basically purchasing 10 certificates and you get one free. You choose the amount for the certificate, such as $40, $60, $120, etc. for the different minutes you want. And you can always combine to use the certificates. For example, my husband decided to combine 3 certificates of $40 each, which is equivalent to 50mins massage, and upgraded that to two 80mins massages for both of us. Now that’s a good use of our free certificate we got from buying the package deal.

I got a 50 minute massage here and it was amazing. Its a seated massage and youre fully clothed. The back rub was amazing. The foot rub was also incredible and included hot towels at the end. Would highly recommend and you cant beat the price! Ill definitely be coming back. Thanks for a great experience

I’m a massage therapist and I go here every 2 weeks. It’s so necessary and they are so great and so kind and I’ve never had a bad massage. Wendy gives the best foot massage I’ve ever had. I would tell you who I go to but I don’t want her to be stolen all the time. Kevin is also great if you want a man. Cindy is really good as well. I honestly think it has kept me healthy for the last 2 years. Love this place.

Best hidden gem in Bustleton /Somerset Philly - so tranquil - such a great space - accommodating front desk and the Masseuse are top notch - way better then a retail chain …

I was here for a massage on 3/13/23. During the time of my massage the front desk girl interrupted the person giving me my massage three times. The interruptions were very distracting and they had to stop every time she came over. I think the front desk person should be fired.

I love this place. My favorite massage place. Seemed weird at first because out in open but best place. You stay clothed. Chairs in open. Sit up for head neck arms back surgery while soaking feet in hit herbal water. Three choices of water. Ginger. Lavander. Something else. Then you sit/lay back in great lounge chair for foot and leg massage. Wonderful and really cheap. Around 50 cents a minute. Less than a dollar anyway.

Too bad . Nothing help. The man was terrible massage.

I was a walk-in, and requested a 80 minute massage for myself and my boyfriend. From the waiting area you can see people getting massages. I suggest a sheet at the front for privacy, because if I could see her she probably could feel me watching her. We sat for only about 10 minutes and was taken back and seated together. The ambience was relaxing with soft music and little talking. In the front you chose what kind of foot soak you want. I chose Lavender and he chose Ginger. There was a wooden bucket that you placed your feet in and you sat while they got all the kinks out of your neck and back. My back hasn’t ever cracked the way it did, but I did have to let him know it was too rough at times. Which he softened his touch immediately. After we sat in the recliners and was given a warm blanket while we received a heavenly foot massage. The creams that they used was so soft and made my feet feel like butter. I would definitely recommend this place. Two 80 minute massages only cost $104, plus tip. You can’t beat that. I’m writing this review about 12 hrs later, my back is a little sore. So make sure you speak up if its a little too rough. But overall a great experience.

It was my first time in this spa. My husband was here before and told me that we should go together.So, we did. We picked 50min lavender foot massage for $35.They started with the back, neck, shoulders and hands massage first while our feet were soaking in water with lavender petals. Absolutely professional and not only relaxing, but with some tension too. Because of our sedentary work life we have a lot of tension in muscles and the guys had individual approach to each one of us and to each body muscle.The spa offers Chinese jasmine green tea. Delicious.Relaxing music on the background.We are hooked. And we are definitely coming back. Thank you so much.

I discovered this place a couple weeks ago and am so happy I did! Their wormwood soak is awesome. You cannot beat the price and they give you neck, back and arms before the foot massage. My only wish would be that you could choose to have just your feet done, even though I enjoy the back rub I would like an option for just feet too! Been here four times in two weeks, I think I am a little obsessed.

This is the best foot massage ever! If you get their $35 for 50 minute special, you get both a back massage (while your feet soak) and foot massage. I always have a ton of back and neck pain and this place was better and gave me more pain relief than my spa massage I paid for earlier this week. All of the massage chairs are plush and comfy and out in the open so you don’t get privacy but who needs privacy as long as you are getting all your muscle aches massaged out of you? I come into Philly about once a month and always try to detour here on my way into town.

This morning I had the pleasure of having Jake with magic hands. My neck and back felt so much better. My plantar fasciitis feet were walking on air. I highly recommend.

Ive been going here for a couple years and have enjoyed most of the massages Ive had. Even though there is a language barrier, that doesnt seem to deter from the masseuses abilities to read my muscles and work on the spots that need it the most. There are times though, when the masseuse will bend my head way back and when I protest she ignores me. Not real happy about that and I will make sure that she is not my masseuse again. I have had about seven different masseuses and all are quite skilled and tuned in to my body. If you go and they are pressing too hard make sure you let them know. The place seems very clean and for several months, everyone has been wearing masks. The atmosphere is peaceful, light musical tones drone on in the background while everyone seems to respect the quiet and calm. Highly recommend.

Great place and I had a great experience here also. Very clean place, friendly atmosphere here. People who works here is definitely profecionals in this frield. Back massage for 30 minutes or so and foot massage for the rest. Total 1 hour. Love it. They even do prenatal light massage on your back but foot massage they do very good. You relax there for in hour just for $35. Wow its its incredible.

Enjoyed my experience at Lavender Foot Spa this evening quite thoroughly as did my daughter who accompanied me. We went in for a relaxing time on my birthday. We were promptly greeted upon arrival at our appointment time, by name I might add, and presented with a menu of the scents/types of foot soaks to choose from. While waiting we were offered a lovely cup of Jasmine tea. The tea was so delicious, light and aromatic. Definitely relaxing. Once we chose (both lavender this time) we were quickly brought back to the massage area where there was very gentle spa music playing and the whole atmosphere was calming and gentle feeling. We were seated next to one another and as our feet were soaking in our warm lavender baths (lined with plastic for sanitary reasons) we were massaged on neck, shoulders, upper back and arms. It was quite lovely and we were asked if the pressure was too hard or light or okay. After about 20 min of soaking feet and massaging we were switched to sit in large, plush recliners and covered with a blanket. Then the massage of each foot and leg commenced. A full 20 glorious minutes on each side of massage and reflexology pressure. This was a truly wonderful experience and we surely will be back!!! I highly recommend Lavender Foot Spa.

This is a fantastic deal. They have been doing 50 minute massages for 30$ since they opened a few months back.The decor is really relaxing.The massages are pretty good, Ive been here like 3 times. They have you take off your foot wear and sit on the foot rest while you soak your feet in one of 3 scented foot soaks while they massage your upper body. This part lasts about 5-10 minutes. Then they have you sit down on these ikea looking recliners that are very comfortable and do a standard foot and lower leg massage for the next 40-45 minutes. Awesome experiences all 3 times.

Do you need to destress ? This is the place to go. Went for a 60 min Ginger soak and it was amazing. They get rid of knots you didnt even know your muscles had. Very communtive and attentive the entire time. The part is that the price is a steal. Will definitely be a repeat customer

I make the trip from about 30-40 mins away in south jersey. This place is totally worth it. $32 for 50 mins. Make sure you tip your masseuse fat if you enjoyed it. Just like other people in the the service industry that’s where majority of their wages comes from. I usually tip $10. Totally worth it. This place is listed a foot spa but it is so much more than that. They massage the hell out of your back, shoulders, neck and arms then your feet and your calves after they have been soaking for a while. If you come once you’ll definitely be back. This place has good reviews already but if more people knew about it they would be even busier. Definitely make an appointment though. Walk-ins may or may not have to wait depending on what is going on.

This is the best place in the area you can go to get stress and pain relief or to just have your body feel great again. Id recommend the 1hr option as the best you can do for yourself.

I go to this place every Saturday. This is the most amazing Foot Spa you ever visit. Very clean, very professional, amazing masseuses and fantastic atmosphere overall. The entire time you are being massaged, theres not 1 second where the masseuse slacks. Every time I come have a different masseuse and all of them have different techniques but all of them put 100% into that 50 minutes. They work very hard and massage from the top of your head to your tailbone. Once they switch to foot massage they work from your toes to your hip bones. As I said before, they put 100% into your massage. The price is great. $32 for 50 minutes. You wont get that anywhere else. Usually, a good massage will cost you about $100 an hour and up. I suggest that you leave your masseuse a big tip since that is how they make their money. If you enjoyed being massaged for almost an hour, then show your appreciation by letting your masseuse know that you noticed how hard theyve worked and their hard work is appreciated. Imagine if you had to give someone a good, strong massage with your hands for almost an hour, and started on another customer after youre done. I usually give a $20 tip, so together with the price of the massage, I end up paying 52 dollars. I think its worth every penny, and if I could afford to give a bigger tip, I most certainly would. Give lavender Foot Spa a chance, and I promise you after your first visit, do you will become a regular customer.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DUMP. I’m lucky that I wasnt paralyzed after going here. Completely incompetent staff who know nothing about massages. If fact, they are dangerous— the lady tried crack my back. When I first arrived they sat me on this block of wood and put my feet into a water bucket with a trash bag. I was baffled at how poor this place is. I’d keep writing but I need to go take Motrin to ease my back after this place. Someone call the BBB!

Loved this place when you could just walk in and get a foot massage but now it seems a reservation is required.

One of the attendants really embarrassed an elderly lady. She told her she had never seen anyone with dirty feet like her. That was very rude and uncalled for especially for a woman old enough to be her grandmother.
