Minerva was great, she doesn’t do hard pressure but it still felt nice and was just enough pressure for my sore spots.I was bargained with for the membership rate which was a good offer if I planned to get massages monthly.

I absolutely love Margaret. I’ve tried a few therapists, all were good but Margaret is the one for me. She’s kind and spent time going over some simple stretches to help relieve pain between appts. I can’t wait to see her again in a few weeks

This review is due to be being charged for not canceling my appointment… I had an emergency that occurred on the day of and I couldn’t cancel the appointment on time. I called and spoke to the manager and said he couldn’t do anything. I understand that’s an appointment set up with the therapist and that’s their pay but being charged %100 of that and knowing I had an emergency they didn’t do anything. I really liked my massage therapist, she did great. Megan is great. But after this, I won’t be going back to this location nor any other massage envy.

It was unlike any massage I’ve ever had. Provider Dave pulled me back at exactly 4 yet I arrived earlier and already finished paperwork prior to my time. He talked in the room which took up more time. Took a long time to come back in after I undressed and was waiting for him. Easily took up 15min of my massage before it even started. Then the massage began. I knew right away he was not into it. Spent very little effort and pressure. Almost as if he was just trying to pass by the time searching for pressure points as opposed to actually massaging. When he had me turn around he only did my neck and then said my time was up. I was in shock. The front of my arms, legs and my feet were not even touched. I check the clock to see he ended it 5min early. Active massage time on me was only 35-40min MAX. My friend gave me her massage otherwise yes I would have told front desk but it was free so decided not to complain. I’m just informing others. Dave was very nice but not trying to any physical work. I left feeling the same as when I walked in.

Shauna gave me the best massage I’ve ever had! Moon Valley is also great and consistently has more openings than other locations nearby.

Came here for the 1st time 3 maybe 4 months ago.Not a very good massage. Felt like my mom rubbing sunscreen on my back at the beach

Genuinely worst massage experience of my life. I was in a ton of pain today and desperately needed a massage. I tried to book online for an appointment in a few days with someone listed as being able to do firm pressure. I was not able to figure out how to use my gift card online so I called to make that same appointment. When I called they said they could get me in today if I wanted. I told them that according to the website, they had nothing available today with someone who could do firm pressure. They assured me that one of the massage therapists does do firm pressure, so I booked, and left work early to make the appointment. As I said, I was in a lot of pain. When I get there, the massage therapist asks me if I had any areas of pain, to which I responded I had extremely tight shoulders/upper back and I wanted the focus to be on that with firm/deep pressure. I got the exact opposite. She had extremely light pressure. I can stress enough how light the pressure was. It felt like a small child was rubbing their hand across my body. Additionally, she spent well over half the time on my legs and arms. Both of which I did not mention at all. I genuinely am so upset at the waste of time and money. To add, she brought me back to the room at 2:05, we spent a min or 2 talking, and I got under the table probably around 2:10. She ended the massage at 2:52. She told me to come out when I was ready, she was no where in sight, so I just paid and left. I’ve never not been greeted with water after a massage (which isn’t a huge deal…just the icing on the cake). I truly am so upset at this experience and would not recommend massage envy to anyone.Editing to add: I just looked online and my therapist is listed as “light to medium.” When I called, I specifically clarified that the person recommended to me could do deep tissue and that it was added to the notes. Deep tissue is no where near what she was actually listed as. Maybe the massage was objectively good for a light/medium massage, it was was not what I wanted or asked for.

Location is friendly and inviting and the massage is always excellent. Preferred pressure and attention to trouble spots every time, and the rooms are fairly quiet, very little outside noise.

I have had both a massage and a facial there this week. The services were just ok but the pressure on membership during the services and after has made me decide I wi not be returning.

Followed my intuition today and decided to pop in for a full body massage and boy was I pleasantly surprised. My body was so tense due to stress & anxiety that I definitely needed to put myself as a priority for once. Roxanna my therapist was wonderful, she answered all my questions eloquently. Got a membership, definitely will be back soon!

Great place with great service. Yea the price has gone up, inflation I get it, but it is the cheapest you can get at such high professional standards. I signed up and feel better already about my health. Im a caregiver/medtech and going to nursing school, I have a ton of stress. Knowing each month I can get a massage makes me feel a ton better.

This was my very first experience getting a massage and all I really wanted was to be completely relaxed because I work with people all day and I am constantly talking to people all day so I was expecting to just be in a quiet room and get a massage, but instead the lady that gave me my massage talked to me the entire time and was giving me her whole life story. Which I didn’t want to be rude and ask her to stop because again this was my first time even getting a massage but I ended up not being relaxed at all and having to talk when I just wanted peace and relaxation. I probably won’t be coming back to this massage envy because I didn’t enjoy my experience at all and didn’t help me relax one bit 😭😭

Therapist, Kunisha, is outstanding! She makes your time on the table all about you. She is intuitive and introspective about the clients needs as those change. She waits and listens to address holistic needs of her clients. Extremely professional experience and I recommend her whole-heartedly.

After I was hit by a drunk driver, I was very tense and sore, and although I waited I was not improving. As a busy mother of an energetic toddler, I dont get a lot of time to really relax. I decided to set an appointment to get a massage and was able to book a nice long session almost immediately. I had them focus on my shoulders but they did a full body massage as well and it really helped release my tension. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about getting a massage.

While the massage itself was fine, the managers behavior completely ruined the experience for me. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional, which left a bad taste in my mouth.When I arrived, I was told that my massage therapist was running late and that I would have to wait a few extra minutes. I didnt mind waiting, but the manager was incredibly dismissive and seemed annoyed that I had even asked about the delay. They didnt offer any apologies or explanation for the delay, which made me feel like my time wasnt valued.After my massage, I had a question about the pricing of a package deal that was advertised in the spa menu. When I asked the manager about it, they snapped at me and said that it was a mistake in the menu and that they wouldnt honor the price. They didnt offer any alternative solutions or try to make things right, which felt incredibly unprofessional.Overall, the managers rude behavior made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. Its a shame, because the massage itself was fine, but I wouldnt recommend this spa to anyone based on my experience with the manager.

Went for a massage today. Taken back at 10 talked for 2 or so mins with therapist then got undressed and on bed at 10:05 My therapist did not seem into it all, barely spent any time on anything . At 10:43 she said she was done and left the room. In my calculation that is a 38 min massage not 60 mins. Hated spending a credit on that lackluster and quick massage. I’m finding this happening more and more. The last time I went to desert ridge for a facial the girl barely did anything and no extractions and voila I was done. I feel like the therapists are junk. Won’t be getting a membership and my husband will be cancelling his as well.Tiffany Sullivan

Well, the front desk is always ready to help you. They are friendly and can also guide you through the different types of products and professionals.Caritas is awesome. When I visit Massage Envy, I feel like a thousand pieces puzzle, and Carlita-s challenge is to put all those pieces in place. She always does.Thank you! I highly recommend this place.

First of all, the atmosphere was very unwelcoming and uninviting. The lighting was harsh and the music was loud and not relaxing at all.But the worst part was the massage itself. The therapist seemed completely disinterested in giving a good massage. They were rough and clumsy, and kept checking their phone during the massage. It was extremely unprofessional and made me feel like I was just wasting my time and money.To top it off, the massage ended abruptly and the therapist didnt even bother to ask if I wanted any water or if I had any questions. It was clear that they just wanted to get me out of there as quickly as possible.Overall, I would not recommend this spa or this massage therapist to anyone. It was a complete waste of time and money, and I left feeling more stressed and tense than when I arrived.

What I enjoy most is having a stellar human to visit and on top of that she is by far the best esthetician I have had.The business model provides the lovely staff training to give us your services and products with ease.I just wish I had more money to give you guys.

Their facility, the staff and massage therapists are perfect. Margaret-Lee is an amazing massage therapist. Intuitive, great pressure and perfect table side manner. I’ll be coming here for a long time to come and invite my family and friends regularly. The management here is also very friendly and intuitive.

Would not even recommend at all. Doesn’t even deserve one star.This was my first and last experience at massage envy. I reached there, filled out questionnaire. Therepist came started explaining about the facial service. However, she didn’t share late policy that she is NOT going to spend 60 minutes for my facial neither receptionist explained when I booked the appointment not she explained when I enter as I was late for 15 minutes due to traffic. If I knew, would have booked other slot.She started my facial and in between I asked if she is going to remove black heads then she told me she doesn’t even have enough time to spend on my facial. 60 minutes facial wrapped up in 25 minutes and she kept saying that she has to take care of other customer. How about the customer who is already with you taking service? This is how the service is at massage envy. I spent $75 for nothing, there is no improvement after facial, very poor qualityBetter to find out that place where the quality is better.

The therapists I see are great …Never disappointed. I just tried STRETCH and highly recommend if you are at a desk all day! The facility is clean and the front desk team and managers are helpful and friendly. Each experience at this location is very consistent and relaxing.

Had a very nice experience for my 2nd massage with massage envy. Felt very comfortable and relaxed with Kaitlyn. She was so sweet and provided helpful information as well as a great massage. We had great conversations too. I look forward to having her again:) also signed up for their membership! 👍🏼

Ive been a member here for several years. I always receive great service. Ampa is my preferred esthetician. She is so kind and conscientious about selecting products that are tailored to my sensitive skin needs. Even if its been awhile between visits, she always remembers what we talked about previously and asks how Ive been. I highly recommend Ampa at the Moon Valley location.

Welcoming informative staff- from the receptionist who arranged my appointments to the therapists who provided amazing first-time facials comfortable for myself and my teenage niece.Had such a great experience the first time, I came back for another facial. Rachel was knowledgeable and friendly. I feel refreshed and beautiful!

First time at massage envy yesterday. My therapist was Cristen S, who did an AMAZING job. I got a 90 minute session and the whole thing was completely relaxing from start to finish. Even got a few knots worked out of my back. Thank you Cristen!

They have raised rates over 100% since I have become a member. It is hard to get an appointment.

Kunisha was great! Came from a bad massage experience, and this was quite the opposite she was very professional and the massage felt great. She asked me about what I wanted to get worked on and why before hand then attended to those areas and as well explained what could be causing the soreness and future ways to prevent it. Will definitely see her again

I originally was gifted a massage by my sister as a birthday present. I was so impressed I ended signing up for their monthly membership.Ive worked with Kaitlyn both times and she is amazing. She has excellent bedside manner and checks in often. She is great at what she does and even educated me on why my body does certain things.Cant wait to go back! Thank you Kaitlyn!

Ruth was my massage therapist. Ruth was professional she provided me with excellent service. She massaged my back, arms, and neck which, put me to sleep the massage was that great.The front desk staff were professional as well. The staff greeted me as I walked in the door making me feel welcomed. The visit was right on time. I didn’t have to wait long at all. I had not gotten a massage in months but I had also never gotten one from Cassie she was awesome. She kept the pressure to my liking and addressed my areas of concern. I can’t wait to go back again! Ask for her she is great!

From the time I booked the appointment to the moment I left I was very impressed with the staff! Massage Envy sent me all the info I needed to check in (covid stuff) so I was able to walk right in and was immediately greeted by Kaitlyn! She is a very talented massage therapist and communicates very well. I received an amazing massage and even got some tips to help in between sessions! I really needed a massage. Super sore from moving. The massage therapist I was set with… massaged all the right areas, with the perfect amount of pressure. I was super tight. After an hour, I felt So much better. Really nice experience.Will go back to her.

Massage Envy memberships are a great way for me to keep up with getting massages on a regular basis. Today I saw Mala and her technique was so therapeutic. I finished so well stretched, relaxed and pain-free. Great experience!

An absolutely wonderful session with massage therapist Margaret Lee! She was very attentive to what I wanted insofar as the correct amount of pressure to apply and the areas I needed focused on. I had decided to try the Rapid Tension Relief add-on to my massage session, and due to some very sore muscles it was too painful with the machine. She was more than willing to let me guide her in not using it after we saw how it just wasnt working for my current needs. I intend to revisit that add-on in a future session when Im not so sore from taking a fall. I always request appointments with either Margaret Lee or Ruth at this location, as Ive found both to be awesome, and have already scheduled another appointment with each. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍😀

I have always really loved the Moon Valley location.This was the first time I tried a facial. I had Rachel and she was amazing. She explained all of the different options. I went with Jan Marini products and I really wanted to focus on brightening. I’m one day post facial right now and my skin is glowing. I’ve already booked my next appointment and can’t wait to try the nourishing light treatment.

I always have Ruth as my therapist she’s absolutely amazing love my deep tissue massages. I always leave there feeling great. I’m so glad I am a member and I get treated twice a month. The front desk staff is always pleasant and friendly.

If you have arthritis, body pain or need stretching, this is great to help the body.

Love Kenesha she is amazing & is a true healer! Sadly, I canceled my membership. I feel strong about personal rights and don’t agree with mask mandates for those working or those going in. I cannot comply and continue a membership with a company that forces this upon individuals. Fabric masks have been proven that they do more harm than good! I have been so happy with my membership here because of the results I’m getting from monthly facials with Pemika. It’s such a relaxing experience, but most importantly the condition and tone of my skin has improved a lot in the last year I’ve been coming regularly. She gives a great facial, but also gives advice on home treatments and products. I won’t trust my skin to anyone else now!

I have been coming to Massage Envy both in Wisconsin and Arizona for many years. I have been lucky enough to have had some really good massage therapists but Willie is by far the best I have had. This is the best massage experience Ive had! I thought there were only a couple spots where my body was tight, but Noel found many other spots where my body was super tight. I left the appointment feeling incredibly relaxed and my body felt like it did when I was in my twenties again. I could not be happier with my experience!

Wow! First let me just say that my back was incredibly sore. Yesterday was my first massage in a long time. I so needed it! Cristen was so amazing! By far the best massage I’ve ever gotten hands down! I walked out feeling so much better. The right amount of touch was perfect. Not to hard not to soft. It was exactly what I asked for. Adriana was simply amazing!! She listened to me figured out my issues and worked on my problem areas to give me some relief. She also educated me on things I can do on my own to help reduce my issues. I left feeling great! I’m looking forward to returning for another session.

Everyone was very professional and welcoming. Skin therapist was very knowledgeable and experienced. My skin looks amazing after one treatment and she provided me with a treatment plan that I am very excited about.

Margaret is amazing. She genuinely cares about her clients. She even pays attention to any possible skin abnormalities, that may require a trip to the dermatologist. She customizes your massage to fit your needs, which is always nice.

I have had Adrianna several times as my therapist. She is excellent! She is definitely in tune with her client’s needs and provides a wonderful, relaxing massage.

I had with a massage with Margaret and she was disrespectful and Insulted my skin the entire time. I understand it is their job to recommend other services and products but it doesn’t have to be done in a rude fashion. She made me very uncomfortable during the massage and therefore was not able to enjoy it. She also stopped my session early and went MIA when it was time to walk me back up to the front.

I just have to say Mala is an amazing therapist. She is is the best therapist Ive ever had over a 10 year period of getting g massages. Total body attention. I really love the head and face part of the massage. The front desk staff are very nice. This is an excellent location.

Finally found my massage therapist! Margaret has excellent technique, listens, technique as amazing as my previous therapist. Will definitely continue seeing her!Kaitlin is amazing as well, she knows what your muscles need, gives great advice, just like Margaret. So, if one isnt available, the other is going to give you the relaxation you need.

Kaitlyn is by far the best sports injury therapist I’ve ever seen. For the first time in years I have gotten true relief after a few deep tissue sessions with her. I have signed up for a membership and am looking forward to my next appointment as soon as it is booked. I’ve even got my grandmother going to see her tomorrow to see if Kaitlyn can help with her back pain!

Just moved to Phoenix from STV and have 3-4 MEs close by, so I called them all, but no luck getting a couples massage (either no couples rooms at the smaller MEs, or COVID restrictions).So dh and I are on the hunt for our new ‘fave’ MTs (no complaint there, as we each have many saved up from not pausing memberships during COVID!). I figured it would take a few ‘trials’ before finding new favorite massage therapists. Nope! No time at all! I saw Pemika for a facial, followed by Sara for a 90min. They both set the bar HIGH, and it was a great afternoon (I even forgot about all the stress from moving!!).UPDATE: had David for a 90min and it was amazing. He did exactly what I asked…very intuitive MT…and I could tell he was responsive to what each of my ‘naughty’ muscle groups were doing. :D After massages I tend to feel achy for a day or two after (even with lots of water and stretching). But not the case with David…woke up the next day feeling great. No achy muscles and had more energy!UPDATE: A few weeks ago I tx a credit to my mom who was here from out of state. Relaxing massage with Ruth and mom chose a facial with Pemika. When we were checking out there was ZERO pressure for my mom to join. EVERY other Massage Envy has pressured my guests into joining afterwards…and that’s not a relaxing way to check out. >:(Overall, I’m VERY happy with the Moon Valley ME…smaller than others but conveniently located, with ample parking, and an adjacent St*rbucks.One other thing I appreciated: Pemika and the front desk staff answered my skin care product questions with NO pressure to purchase! Very unusual…and again…quite refreshing compared to other sites who push the $$$$ products!! (How do the other Massage Envy’s NOT realize their 1-2 hours of work de-stressing someone starts to immediately unravel when they do this…?)When I do start hyaluronic products, I will absolutely buy from Moon Valley (espec since the ‘meh’ Murad line is gone). Excellent decision, ME! Your shelves were long overdue for a facelift, and it appears they took their demographic into consideration when purchasing better products to offer! LOVE the new lines and the wellness tools and happy I can get those amazing Spongelles there instead of online :)UPDATE: Yest was a 90-min with Kunisha and oh boy!...did she take care of my entire spine! She stopped my lumbar muscle spasms fast, and it no longer feels likes a knife is lodged in me where I had surgery a few months ago. She’s VERY experienced and intuitive, and I swear she could tell when I ever-so-slightly tensed up a bit in tender areas. She adjusted to lighter pressure before I could even ask her to! Shes also a super calm presence... and it put me at ease immediately!

Carlita was fabulous. Good deep pressure. She explained what she was going to do and why before we started. I would definitely return for Carlita. My only disappointment was that my facial afterward had to be canceled because the esthetician was thirty minutes behind by the time I finally decided waiting was not productive.

My therapist Kunisha is amazing. I think the best compliment I can give is in the weeks following my massage I feel fantastic! She identifies and focuses on the areas that need the most attention, and her technique is spot on. I really appreciate her.

Best massage that I have received in a long time. Robin was my massage therapist and she was awesome. We talked about issues before she went to work. Fortunately I booked a 90 minute massage which provided Robin with ample time to address my issues and concerns. I will be back ! Thank you Robin.

Kaitlyn at moon valley is one of the best therapist I’ve had in my 15 years of getting massages. She knows her anatomy very well and makes you feel like she’s been your therapist for years in only a couple visits. Highly recommend

I have been a member for over ten years. The front team does a fantastic job of matching you to the best therapist. You will need to tell them if want a deep tissue massage or not. I have had a few excellent therapists over the years. Some have left for other jobs, but I always find one that works for me. Facials are excellent here too!

Kunisha is my “go to” at the Moon Valley Massage Envy (which btw, is my favorite location even though I have 4 others in closer proximity to home).She is super thorough, has a deep but fluid massage style which I love and a gentle caring demeanor.

This was my first time at your location because is a lot closer than the location we normally go to, I was extremely satisfied with Mala, she is great and I am glad I found her, already made another appointment with her in a couple weeks again.

I love this place! The therapist asks what I need work on and he goes right to work. The people are very friendly. I have a good rapport with my therapist. Hes the best Ive ever had. I recently had Covid in February. The after effects left me in alot of pain. Dave gave me the best massage. I never felt so good. He is such a asset to Massage Envy.

I liked that Ruth didn’t chat through the massage like some have done at other places. She was smooth, great touch- just enough pressure. Will definitely ask for her again!

Ruth is amazing. She is such a talented therapist and I especially love that she can do back to back facials and massage as well as has skills in stretch therapy, hot stones, etc. She is a unicorn!!

Im a member and have had multiple therapists. Minerva does medium pressure which turned out perfect and was the first to not talk which allowed me to really unwind and relax. Just what I needed. Would definitely go back to her again.

Kaitlyn and Dave B. are excellent therapists every time I visit. Both are experts in deep tissue massage and have helped me recover from injuries over the years. Cannot thank them enough!

Noel essentially eliminated my need for a chiropractor. Instead of every week at chiro I could go every two weeks to Noel and eventually once a month. Back pain emergencies, over the course of a few months, basically disappeared and now a couple of years later - completely gone. He keeps you talking to improve your breathing so as to keep oxygen levels up. Noel is truly an amazing artist.

Ive had quite a few problems with Massage Envy at Arrowhead canceling last minute cant get me in but I called 3rd Street and Bell got right in had a fabulous massage with Minerva I will definitely be calling them again thank you so much Massage Envy

Yelena is an AMAZING massage therapist. I moved here 5 months ago after being 3 years without a retailer massage therapist, and my shoulder was a mess from a 10 year old injury. Yelena is very communicative and has made it so my shoulder is finally healing after regular massages! I can feel a physical difference in my shoulder, including better range of motion and fewer headaches throughout the month! Please see Yelena if you have a chronic issue that you would like to work on. She is kind and effective!

Kunisha has the hands of and angel! Hard enough pressure to do the job on my tight shoulders and neck. She was great conversation as well overall was a wonderful first time experience. Will defiantly be back

Ive visited Massage Envy before, as well as Elements, The Arizona School of Massage Therapy and Ive had massages on cruise ships. My visit to the Moon Valley Massage Envy was my least favorite experience of all.Scheduling was easy and the receptionists were nice (and not too aggressive with trying to convince me to become a member) but my masseuse, Dolce, was not personable AT ALL. She didnt smile once throughout my entire experience. Her interactions with me were rushed, mechanical and not the least bit friendly and relaxing. Although the massage was only $55 ($65 total with tip), I didnt feel much of a difference in my body or mood at all after my appointment. I am usually very relaxed and sore after a massage and I was far from those states. In fact, it didnt even feel like a got massage at all.The spa atmosphere was mediocre. Not very serene, soothing or relaxing. The waiting room was super bright and the all around feel of the spa area was much like a doctors office. Dolce didnt seem very professional in her recommendations for future therapy. She also wasnt very informative with after treatment.I will definitely not return to this location.

My massage therapist Adriana was great. She had good customer service. She went above and beyond to meet my needs. I will definitely request her when I return.

Since my regular therapist left Massage Envy sometime ago I’ve been trying different locations/therapists. This is my 3rd time at the Moon Valley Location and probably will be my last.The first therapist I tried out was really good; however, he talked a little too much throughout my session for my liking. I get the fact that they need to communicate with their client to learn their bodies and needs but I felt he kept trying to make conversation about anything & everything and did not know how to take the hint that I didn’t want to have full blown conversations during my massage.The 2nd Therapist I tried was good for the most part, on the first session at least. I booked a 90 min massage but I remember that he ended the session a bit too early; still, it was a good enough session that I decided to give him a second try. Today I had an hour session and it was definitely one of the most underwhelming massages I’ve ever gotten. I expressed that I had a lot of areas on my legs that needed attention and that I would like deep pressure. The pressure the therapist used was anything but deep, in fact there were times when I thought he had fallen as sleep and was merely touching my leg. Then when the massage was over I realized he had ended the massage early yet again, this time by 11 minutes. I’ve been getting massages for quite some time and I am well aware that no one ever gets the full 60-90 mins they book. I understand that they need to allow us a few minutes before the massage to get the room ready and to undress; then after the massage is over, a few mins to re-dress. However, I feel that 11 mins to dress back up seems excessive.Then at checkout, I advised the young lady at the register that I had a credit to use; she said I did but it was only a 30 min credit which they couldn’t apply as this was an hour massage. I was very confused because on my last visit they were able to use credits for a full hour and half massage without a problem. Why if they were able to that could they not use a 30 min credit for an hour massage? Would have they communicated this with me on my last visit I wouldn’t have split up my credits that way. Also, I understand that these are their guidelines but there are ways to explain this without sounding rude and unsympathetic. I’ve been in customer service for several years now and just saying “that’s just the way it is,” or “there is no way around it,” doesn’t cut it.I am not one to usually leave bad reviews; however, I feel that one was warranted today.

Mala is amazing and always intuned to my body and needs. Shes always prompt and polite and wonderful. I cant say enough about her. The rest of the staff is great too - I just dont spend as much time with them to name names.

Noel was wonderful- he catered the entire experience to me and focused on the spots I was most struggling with. When I needed to adjust pressure he validated me and was kind/professional. His demeanor is so relaxing and the conversation was appreciated. 10/10 would recommend.

As being a college student and tall, I can be clumsy at times. Recently I went to a college event which involved roller skating. When roller skating, my foot came from underneath me and I had landed on my tailbone which is now bruised as well as my right hip and underarms! On March 25th, I had an appointment with Carlita, who is absolutely AMAZING! She relieved all the tension in my body. Which had me leaving ME, feeling so wonderful! If you’re coming into Massage Envy for a massage because of injuries, I recommend Carlita! 10/10 !!

Massage Envy is great, and Carlita is the absolute BEST! Because of her Ive started a membership. She is very thorough, she explains in good detail what is being massaged and the importance of it being massaged to prevent from being sore or in pain. Five stars for her!!

Brian is the best. I went in years ago thinking I needed hip replacement and it was a butt muscle!! He has kept me out of a wheelchair.Sadly I can not say very good things about management and administration and how they screwed me over taking away my grandfather rates. It was retaliation for reporting poor management.

Here is the truth. Signed the agreement to get the deal on massages. Enjoyed it but then I canceled with notice, in writing as required. 9 months later I noticed they were still charging me the monthly fee. They said no I didnt. Ha. Been there done these deals. I had a pic of the term notice and I had a pic of the gal holding it on her side of the counter. Now they acknowledge and offer only to refund half. Jerks. Knew that was enough to not make it worth my time. Right had nothing to do with their crooked position.

I always have a stress relieving deep tissue massage from Kunisha. She’s excellent at hitting all the tension places and ensuring I’m at ease and will leave satisfied. Kunisha is personable, great listener and honest. If you want a quieter massage, Juno problem, just communicate.

Terrible customer service from Arielle.Today I tried to book an appointment for a massage. I have $125 gift certificate. Despite the gift certificate I was told that I needed to give them my credit card information. I refused. In a time where credit info is being stolen all the time, why would I give out my information for a service that has already been paid for?I spoke to Arielle. She was rude and snapped at me so that was the end of our coversation. I told her to forget it and that I would fine another location.I had been looking forward to getting a massage but WHAT A COLOSSAL HASSLE!! I never suspected that just trying to book an appointment could be so stressful! Getting a massage should be therapeutic but dealing with Arielle definately WAS NOT THERAPEUTIC OR RELAXING.I am telling my boyfriend DO NOT EVER give me a gift certificate to Massage Envy again!! And after I use this gift certificate I will never return to any Massage Envy. This whole experience was extremely disappointing.But its their loss since I am looking for a place where I can get weekly massages. I will find a place that values their customers and I will be their loyal customer.

Pemika, an esthetician at the Moon Valley Massage Envy is incredibly skilled at what she does and she is very knowledgeable and so kind and gentle at the same time. Out of convenience I went to another esthetician recently and immediately regretted not waiting for Pemika! She needs a raise!

Kaitlyn is excellent with deep tissue work. My neck and back were injured in a bad scooter accident and she always helps relieve the associated knots without bruising me or jeopardizing my healing. She is part of my long recovery. She’s also very funny when I am chatty and perfectly fine to say nothing when I am not.

Pemika is always so friendly and wonderful. She always asks if I would like a quiet facial or if I would like to hear about the products that she is using that day. Very attentive and one of the only ones in Arizona I will get my facials from.

This particular location is always booked whenever I need a massage which is discouraging as I have a membership and cant use it when I need it. They will make you sign all kinds of ridiculous documentation stating that you need to have a doctors note to be released from the contract but provide you hardly any availability or if they have a good masseuse theyre only there for a short period then leave and go somewhere else for more money. If anybodys considering a membership I would highly discourage as if you find somebody you like you have to schedule weeks in advance and unfortunately in todays time and age not a lot of us have that as an opportunity unless youre a stay-at-home or retired. Theres a couple people there I dont know how in the world they got into massages but I can honestly say that is the one location where Ive had a massage and had a person creep me out beyond belief not with the massage with what they were discussing to me so pick your massage therapist wisely!

With my life I get a bunch of the typical office stress so I was in need or a massage! They do a great job of figuring out your needs and focusing on those areas to maximize the experience. Only part that was a bummer was not having the ability to have a longer session. I will more than likely go back to keep the corrections from coming back.

Minerva was awesome, not too much pressure, just enough to be able to enjoy the massage.If I had one criticism, I sat in the quiet room for 13 minutes and right before my allotted time, she brought me the iPad to update my health questionnaire, I would think it would be brought sooner

Dont sign contract, I was told you can cancel anytime with a months notice. I cancelled 12/15 and was told January would be my last charge and low and behold ,February charge occurs. The girl told me she was sorry for the mistake of their staff member but basically was going to charge me 3 more months. Bad business and terrible customer service. I had been a member for 6 years, took a break and came back. Never again will I enroll at massage envy. Business must be down, they seem desperate for dollars not customers. Please dont respond for me to email you privately, I already talked and spoke to young lady who apologized but did nothing. Maybe the owner needs to get more involved.

All Massage Envy locations should have the service where a member can login and see # of massages, where they were used and how many left. I have put in a complaint for this service. Option: If sending email confirmations: send the balance of massages left for tracking purposes.As convenience: the Massage person should ask if the oil can be taken off of persons back with warm towel so person doesnt get their clothes messed up. I understand they will do this if you ask them for it, though. (this comment is for all ME locations in Phoenix).

I think they could do a better pricing job. Although its convenient, aromatic adds therapy is extra (Really...how much do a few drops of essential oil cost??) I prefer someone I know and not guess if the therapist will understand what i need

I love Noel! I have been seeing him since 2009. I like deep tissue and that is his specialty. He is also very smart and knowledgeable about the different parts of the body muscles and bones and how everything works so he knows what to focus on!

VERY UPSET! I booked an appointment online for my wife’s birthday and when we arrived they said they had no appointments and were booked. They claimed their online system is being weird.. They are a chain! Not a single location so WHY EVEN HAVE AN ONLINE BOOKING! We even had to put in our card information online to even schedule the appointment! So inconsiderate and very disrespectful of our time.

I stepped in a massage envy for the first time yesterday for my wife and mother in law. Not only was I bombarded with all this information that would take a few days of googling to understand what all the terms mean, but I was pushed to purchase gift cards for mothers day sale they were having. Due to medical (herniated disc, etc.) reasons my mother in law is physically unable to participate so i looked for a refund for the services. Who would of known that this place makes their money by overwhelming a man like me until I think I know what Im buying (I just learned what exfoliating means) and having their policies made up for no understanding that sometimes refunds are needed due to reasons out of my control. I will NEVER recommend this place this to anyone and will turn people away if I can

Hardly ever give reviews because I feel like they are one sided however, I was really I satisfied with the customer service especially at this location. The issue was not at all with the masseuse but more with the front desk and manager specifically. I booked an appointment to come in and use my last massage ( I had cancelled and was told I had 60 days since my last bill date to use the 2 1/2 hours I had left over. So I called to confirm before my next appointment that I would come in and use just one hour and they said they could make it happen. Before my appointment one young lady wanted to talk with me but another lady shooshed her and told her to wait till I was done. After I was done they informed me that My left over hours had actually expired two days prior and I would now need to pay 100$ plus tip. When I asked to speak with a manager, they wouldnt let me and instead the young lady spoke to her alone and came back and told me even though I was two days late there would be no exception made. I told her theres no way it had passed because my last bill date wasnt 60 days ago and she said it was 60 days from the day I signed the termination paper. I was a loyal client for 6 months and had 2 1/2 hours left and now theyve expired when I was told something different? This was a complete turn off and made me never want to sign a contract there again because I was told one thing and now being told another. Absolutely awful experience especially with the manager on staff at the time. Long story short, they are entirely too corporate and wouldnt own up to what I was told and wouldnt honor just 1 of the 2 1/2 hours Ive paid for nor would the manager take the time to speak with me. Next time need to take my business to a small local masseuse. Still paid the 100 and tipped well as it wasnt my masseuse fault.

Dont get sucked into contract with Massage Envy Moon Valley - their services have really gone downhill. As a long time member, my experiences have steadily declined. They simply do not stand behind their product. Period. Unhappy customers are offered the run around instead of a quality massage or acceptable solution. You, the patron, are stuck! In addition: The atmosphere is far from relaxing, it is a cold corporate experience, the staff just going through the motions-- and not well. Do yourself a favor. Pass

I Love Massage Envy and the services, have been using them for about 5 years now. So - whats up with the spam text messages that I am now getting a few times a week?I didnt didnt opt in and give you permission to send them, and apparently the only way to opt out (maybe) is to call and ask to be removed.I understand the need to keep business steady as much as the next person, as this Pandemic has made life challenging all the way around.However, the move to drum up business through spamming your customers with text messages that just had a couple of appointments become available today or has opening today starting at 12pm does not create a sense of urgency with me, especially when these messages come through in the middle of my work day.Ive called and asked to be removed. If I get one more text Ill set Robokiller to block the number.

I’ve been going to Brian for about three years, and he’s very good about asking what your problem areas are, and how much pressure you want. If you allow him to do his thing, he will work out all the knots - many you didn’t know you had! Highly recommend.

Worst front desk staff I have seen. While waiting they were complaining about customers on the phone. I arrived 15 minutes early and waited 10 min past my appointment only to end 5 min before the hour. So my hour massage was really only 45 min. Madison and Chance maybe you shouldnt speak bad about customers when we can all hear you. Will not return!!!!

Im not a big fan of massage envy. After my experience with Clarita, Im a permanent customer. I drove 40 min from Buckeye and Im her permanent customer now.

I’ve had three visits so far with envy and I’ve always been treated very well very professionalAnd they’ve always had answers for every question I’ve had I enjoy going so much I got the membership that they have and that way I can go once a month and it’s automatic withdrawal from myAccount so I don’t have to worry about having the money it’s already paid I just go and get my massage a goodbye and leave very good place I recommend it to anybody I’ve had five back surgeries to stomach surgeries along with some other stuff and they’ve never hurt me once there at 10 in my book

I’ve been to a lot of massage places over the years and I’ve got to say this is probably one of the best massages that I’ve ever received. I couldn’t turn my neck to the right for the longest time and after getting the knots in my neck and shoulders worked on I’m happy to say that I can finally move my neck pain free.

Willie was excellent! He used a lot of different techniques and the pressure was perfect for me. I signed up for a membership afterwards. No initial fee which is awesome.

I made 2 separate appointments for a deep tissue massage...1st appointment ended at 50 mins even though I paid for an hr no reason giving just said times up...2cd visit to this place the massage ended with him only getting to about have of my back never even got to the actual problem just moved around. This place is a rip off.

Mala is excellent, she has the best deep tissue technique and always makes me feel better then I had. Plus she is very kind.
