Karamba Nightclub

Went here because me and my friends had nothing else to do after our event and we wanted to dance for a little bit more and we stopped here after they stopped serving alcohol and they charged me $20 to get in. I’m never coming back here to charge me that amount.

They usually have lights on and too much of a restaurant vibes. The DJ sucks really bad. Doesn’t know how to transition to different musics. Just went your getting the good beat, they change to were it’s slow and quiet. Kinda kills the vibe

I’m not worth your time after time and time again your establishment had wrongfully accused of actions such as “throwing the fist sucking punch” or “causing a fight” when I tried to explain to your establishment that I came up to the party as an individual on my own asking what the issue was, yes I had my heels off and hair tied because it was hot but I asked what the issue was and left. “The party” that I was with who actually threw the first punch should be banned permanently because I am no longer affiliated with that party and tend to start issues for no reason. Moral of the story: THID CLUB IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Postpandemic I arrived just before last call to a polite attractive male bouncer. He gave me a quick run down if how I was to proceed. There is no dancing, I was to remain wearing my mask until I was seated at my table I believe the rule is if you are not seated at your table you have to have your mask on. I was surprised by not seeing the dance floor packed with dancers, instead tables took their place. I was allowed to go out onto the patio smoking area without a mask and the small group of about 10 people out there unmasked. Final thoughts; depends on what your expectations might be. Personally it was nice to get out and even though the crowd was very minimal I enjoyed my $5 picther of beer and people watching. On observing other groups and how they were having fun. This pandemic has everything all messed up but this club has been around for a long time and I would hate to see it go away because of financial problems. We know its potential I hope we can all try to keep it going while protecting ourselves and others. Bottom line I had a good time. Just be prepared for something a little different than what were used to. Lets support our local businesses especially gay owned.

Tipped the dj for a Latino song and waited 20 minutes but they only played English music. False advertisement

My partner wanted to go out tonight on a Saturday night 10/7/2023. We got there before the cover charge which starts at 10PM. Ive heard reviews about the security guards but nothing extreme or bad came out of them. They let us in and told us the about the event that was going on. We were on their good side. Bartenders were nice and friendly. We finally sat down at a table and were waiting for the drag show to start. You better sit down fast because the club starts filling up especially during the weekends. We enjoyed the performances and the queens put on their show quite well. Fun atmosphere, crowded, and very good music. All in all we enjoyed the night together and will be coming back again sometime soon. The restrooms are tiny by the way. You will have to wait in line thats the only bad thing. They have a patio for smokers. Also, taco trucks are parked outside for your late night munchies. Totally worth it ;) have fun be safe!

Great bar, experience. Typically Raul and Domingo are the bartenders who help me and are very friendly + great memory. In addition, their door staff Rene, Walter, and Charles are amazing too.

Not a place to visit if you aren’t from here, they must have regulars that are friends/ family with security to the point woman walk around with big bully energy with absolutely nothing done. Not a place for the girls girls, only big back bully’s.

Djs music choices are ….dated ….bar was deserted and only few cliques of regulars are there

Karaoke night suck the dj play music when ever he whans even though is only karaoke n he n he’s wife sings, they don’t care if the club is pack n take up all of the time

It’s fun. It’s gay. It’s a good time. Expect a cover charge, but that’s okay, they’re open til 4am, they’re letting the party continue, you can pay a little cover charge to be out past 2am. Also, might have the nicest security guards in the city.

Just go to Charlie’s…. Worst club experience I’ve had. After paying the fee and only having been there for 10 minutes we got kicked out for NO REASON. The security is super rude and prejudice against people with tattoos. They kicked my friends and I out for no reason other than we were the only “alternative” looking people. Very aggressive and unsafe feeling. Stacy’s and Charlie’s will forever be better.

Great space for Latin dancing but a bit cliquish

I’ve been here a handful of times and it’s always very fun. Good Latino music, affordable drinks, and everyone is very nice. Only downside is the small parking lot, so just be mindful of where you park.

I don’t think I would ever go back some of the security guards have a attitude the music they play is not good you would probably hear 1-2 songs that you like but other than that boring and the bathroom is so small everybody would be on top of you trying to get to the stall and the dance floor is also small I wouldn’t recommend if your trying to have a good time there’s so many other clubs that is way better and doesn’t charge a entry fee! ……. Just my opinion don’t let colorful lights fool you into thinking this club is it because it’s definitely not!!! the only good thing is they have parking.

Been here quite a few times, if it wasn’t for the DJ and the Security Guards this place would be 5 stars, but the dj especially on weekends is one of worst, its rare to see an entire dance floor get cleared by the same bad mixes (replays them every weekend) but it has multiple times in my presence. The security are either extremely sweet people or violently transphobic (the doorman) they have disrespected me about 3 different times despite being a regular, along with trans sisters who have even performed there aswell. Please do better.

On 9/3 I went to karambas for the Gala Varo show after her first set I went to look for line to get a drink at the bar near DI booth. An employee in black shirt carrying a bucket of ice grabbed the collar of my neck and pulled me back as he was walking past me. It was a horrible experience I was so upset I left early. I will not be reining back.

One of the best places I’ve visited during my stay in Phoenix. Nice place, good music! Affordable drinks, they have specials everyday and they accept all type of cards to pay. Ive been there 3 times and I hope to go 3 more before I leave. Good drag shows and the staff is really friendly. And when they ask for cover… its 7$ ! So? 7$ dollars for all that is a yes!! My favorite place to dance. The music is always popping. The only reason Im giving it 4 starts and not 5 is because of how tiny and unclean the restrooms are.

First time ever being at this place and I think its phenomenal! Excellent bar services and a decent amount of space. I will say though, it does get pretty packed. Of course, since I went on a Saturday night, its going to be packed. Thats a given. They also play really good DJ music! I brought my husband with me and he even liked the atmosphere.

It advertises itself as a Latin music club and they barely play any Latin music… I kept tipping the DJ for reggaetón requests and he hardly played it. They maybe played six Spanish songs over a three hour period. The song list was like my 2012 college mix (Black Eyed Peas etc). Very disappointing and confusing. I wouldn’t go here if you’re expecting Latin music/dancing. The drag show was good though!

If you want to have fun and an unimaginable night, you need to hit the dance floor in Karambas! The people are very nice, the bartenders are cool, and the drag queens and dancers are THR BEST. The entertainment here was amazing and the drinks were not as expensive as other clubs.

I think and know the bar manager owe us an personal apology for Discriminating And cannot illegally kick us out for smoking weed. We both have medical cards, You have no right to kick us out.And you will not use this feedback against me to band me.. all because his eyes are red. He just got out of prison and had got a stamps.

For good music, Karamabas is usually on point. they play a variety of hip-pop, edm, regaeton, and of course the usual club hits. the dj has good transitions , although there will be instances where he plays the same song twice in one night. but overall good experience. friendly security staff and drinks are not to pricey. better than Charlies imo. Charlies seems to be sexist towards women.

I am from out of town and your website says fridays are vaquero night ,good thing I called ahead to double check i left try cowboy hat in my hotel room cuz its no longer cowboy nights. Should update your website very disappointing. The crowd is to young ish for me as well. Was not what I expected.

My friends took me to Karamba when i was visiting from Sacramento it was a Thursday eve there was no cover charge. We were privvy t a very awesome show and they treated us with much warmth and hospitality. The music was perfect for dancing and the Hostess was drop dead gorgeous. I would recommend the Karamba to everybody looking for good drinks music and fun

This place is extremely sketchy, security is awful. Very trashy.I wish I had a better experience but when I say security is terrible I saw them assault ppl for no reason, it was scary and the area has sketch ppl around it at night

Karamba night club is ran so well by John Martinez and staff. Great drink specials and tons of parking. Located right off the 10 and 51 freeways.

I didnt like this place. The drinks were very weak, the patrons are very rude ( apparently excuse me, doesnt exist in the vocabulary of the majority of people who go there.) I just wasnt impressed. Waiting 30 minutes to get into a place filled with weak drinks, throngs of rude people, and unappealing strippers was not worth it. Never will return when I revisit Phoenix.

I went to this night club for the first time. The services offered to me were amazing and the people here took care of all my needs. The drinks served to me were amazing. I was very impressed by their work ethics.

The atmosphere is great, the dj sucks sometimes. He also has venmo for song requests and never plays them after you send money.

This is theBEST PLACE. if i want to have a good time me and my friends will make sure to come here. They should update theyre playlist though, I noticed that they replay the same songs throughout the night which isnt bad but its noticable

One of the biggest “go-to” gay nightclubs in Az on a Saturday night. Parking sucks but fun nights! My friends and I come here when we just wanna turn up! After the turn up we get food wasted at the taco truck. Order the nachos! They poppin Af!

Great dance floor and DJ. Cocktails on the other hand are lacking. Come here for the party. Not the drinks. I had a lot of fun and I will be back. But I’ll be passing on any cocktails.

This place is always a good time with good drink specials the only bad part is at 2am they allow the 18 year old crowds in you know the ones that have been pre gaming all night. The last time I was there I saw 4 girls fall at least 3 times each

Great music and dancing especially Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The only downside to Karramba is at 2AM, 18 and up are allowed. I enjoy a more adult atmosphere.

The new 3rd party securities are rude and have no customer service I’m not going back to the club because of them after going for 12 years

At the bar you have a good time and you enjoy it but there always has to be a discordant note... The bartenders are demanding that you leave a tip or they wont sell you the drink, and they are very rude. I dont recommend going there

I also found out that Mondays are karaoke nights so Im going to make it my place to get rid of stress by singing. Because I am a Mexican migrant who supports diversity in all its aspects.
