Marys Club

Old town can be challenging these days, but Marys club is not. Friendly staff, cold beer on tap and beautiful entertainment dances before you. Hard to argue with the scenery. Not for everyone, but appreciated by most. Apparently, the dancers work for tips only, so be sure to tip for the entertainment.

Long time patron from Seattle. I try to go here every time I am in town. I have never seen a strip club with a better vibe and the dancers are so physically talented. DON’T GO HERE if you just want to see naked women and get yourself hard. Yes, they can make that happen but there are so many lesser clubs that will put up with basic people and basic needs. Mary’s is special, it’s a classy place with dancers and staff that are on-average much more intelligent than the patrons who come in. Come here if you want to see a goddess who knows what she is worth, plan to tip constantly, and pay for that lap dance! Thank you Mary’s Club, I love you all 💋

Lovely girls but I would recommend you skip the drink. They charge full price and pour less then what a drink consists of. Bartender stated they do a three count there, which in reality a 7 ida shot. When addressed was told off. I feel I got mugged $20.00

The 15 year old security guard aint handling a real man mmmk...I was one of the few tipping more then 2$$$$$. Didnt get a thank u , or an acknowledgement ....Bartender hid in the back instead of pushing sales... Kept having to ask where she went for change. So I could tip....I ended up taking the waitresses tip , Baaack.....the old man regular was sooo creepy and gawky. It made me incredibly uncomfortable.....I couldnt help to ask if hed tip?Ohh, he got nastyyyy.I called him the cccccreeeeeeppppppp he was. I really enjoyed the vibes here very chill but sexy at the same time I am from Florida and I must say I really enjoyed my time here, Penny is very Amazing she definitely had my attention all night long from the first time I laid my eyes on her and the bartender Tracy was awesome as well‼️💪🏾🫶🏾🤙🏾

First time visiting and it was less than expected. A couple of the girls were nice and had good customer service, as far as clubs go. Daddy is a sweetheart and is decent on the pole. However, Dahlia isn’t much fun and shows no interest. Wouldn’t go back, but if you like your girls all natural and a place not so crowded, this is the spot.

Not your average stop in Portland but a must if youre into strip clubs and old Portland and want to visit a downtown classic. Ive been going to Marys for a long long time.

This is my first time at this place. I’m from out of town. Anyway, I ordered a beer and gave the bar tender a $50 bill. The bar tender returns and states that she may have dropped some money, but she picked it up and I should have all of the change. She wants me to show her the last bill. Then I get a weird feeling that she really didn’t give me most of my change back. I count it and of course it’s not all there and most of it is missing. She gave me $7 back from the $50. I told her about it she goes to the register and comes back again and still doesn’t have the correct change. I had wait for over 5 minutes to get the correct change and there were barely any people at the bar. Then this happened. The dancer came on stage and after her several customers that were in a large group came in. I threw some money on stage and then the song ended and another song began and I threw some money on stage for her. Then the large group of customers that came in started throwing money on stage, so guess what that dancer did. She turned completely away from me and focused most of her dancing on the group of guys. How rude? I had tipped her and purchased beer with money that I worked hard for and just wanted to go out and have a good time, but yet all I got was a bunch of disrespect and bad service. Seriously only go here if you don’t care about having good service or watching a dancer that doesn’t really care about her customers.

The best performers and service in town. Thats why they have existed so long. Pop down check it out. Its a PDX must do.Stay hip to the trip and remember to tip. Its not a rip off joint. Everything is fairly priced and food is good 👍. Enjoy!

I visited this place earlier today in the hopes of getting to see a dancer named Chrissy, who I met the other day when I was there.Instead, I met another gorgeous dancer named Thursday, who gave me two private dances and she knows how to turn a guy on easily.The club is worth your time and I will visit again whenever an opportunity comes my way.However, I admit that I may not visit again for a while not because I am trying to save money, but its unfortunate what happened very much across the street from Marys Club the other day, that unfortunate shooting.On the other hand, this club is worth the effort. Many of the girls who I have met over the years have been friendly and IMO will be friendly to you. If you are friendly to any of the ladies you meet, but in a non-flirtatious way, they will be nice to you back.I apologize for any misunderstandings that I may have caused during previous visits.

We were hanging out in Portland and saw this place on the way to meet up with three other friends... who ended up joining us. Were all from Texas. My husband and I moved to Oregon 10 months ago. We drove from Springfield to Portland just to hang out with them. Five of our friends were on tour with their band, and we hadnt seen them in a while. Their show was canceled due to a horrible accident. So, we decided to spice some things up and turn the night around. We thought we would give this place a try. There were 10 in our party and the answer is YES... we had fun. The beers were cold. The service was AMAZING!... and the dancers were SUPER COOL & SUPER FREAKING GORGEOUS!! I have ZERO complaints about this place. My husband and I will definitely be back... oh... and if you could... tell the bouncer... THANKS for being super cool at the end of the night. Trying to get 7 musicians out of a bar is complicated... you really had your work cut out for you. Hahaha.I definitely will recommend this place to everyone we know, and we will be visiting again. Our buddy got a photo with the bartenders and bouncer before we left. Wish we would have thought about getting one with you guys! Cheers!

DANCERS- if you are neurodivergent, this club is not safe for you. Take it from someone who worked here for 6.5 years and eventually was accused of stealing, being aggressive, erratic, and being on drugs when I started speaking up about my condition and asking for accommodations. These are not girl’s girls and they do not keep any room for understanding autism or anything in that spectrum. Stay save neurodivergent dancers

Horrible experience! First the bouncer looks homeless and asking for 2.00 cover charge makes you seem all that more bogus! Then when we were into the establishment! I call it an establishment only because it was a building with a business.We were allowed to buy a drink but once our female companion tried to tip the dancer $21 dollars we were kicked out because the other three people were at the bar instead of sniffers row! And the ladies were sniffable from way further than front row if you know what Im saying! Save your money and go to Dontes! Way better atmosphere! Not a strip club but you wont get an STD just from walking in the place! The only good reviews are from before the move or by strippers trying to keep the reviews good. Just a horrible experience!

Some A$$hat (opinions, fun...!) called the ladies there Pole Workers in some magazine... The Dancers (and mixologist?+) are amazing. Ive been lucky to catch some great shows!The dancers pick their own music too, which I love. (No into/hype person) May be an insight into their personality, persona, and/or mood on that night.Food is bomb diggity too. Cant go wrong with most anything.Every time Ive been, security on site for everyones safety.Ive been to the old location and miss the history behind the original but the new location is pretty cool too.Just my 2 cents. Go and find out for yourself.

I gave this place another chance and once again was disappointed. The staff is so rude. The “dancers” are dull, boring, and pretentious. I thought this place was world famous, why?Also, the area of town that this place is in is incredibly dangerous. The bar staff doesn’t seem to realize. They act like they are the fanciest thing ever but there’s someone doing d*ug on the sidewalk outside and someone across the street just got stabbed so why are we acting holier than thou?

The new building is much larger and has some delicious food especially Mac n cheese! The girls are on point and gorgeous as ever. The bar staff is quick and friendly. Me and some friends love to come support them.

Always a go to when in town. The ladies are always friendly, attractive and attentive. Staff treats couples well, drinks are priced well and theres also bomb tacos.Only complaint is it is a little dingy but thats part of the charm and what do you expect with the place in downtown thats been operating for over 60 years!

Great atmosphere, it is very dark and cozy, perfect place to kick back. The bartenders are very good about checking up on you for a new drink so you dont have to get up and squeeze by people to the bar, yes the place seems to be always packed! The dancers there are all extremely talented and beautiful!

The new location is weird and uses the space poorly. the bar staff blatantly ignored me and my group for a solid 15min while we were standing at the bar waiting to get ones and drinks. there was only one dancer who was friendly to us, even though we were the only people sitting at the rack and we were all tipping at least 5$ per song. the friendly dancer was also the only one who wasnt incredibly emaciated. ive never been more turned off in a strip club.

It was a nice, quiet atmosphere with a very chill vibe. The dancers were spicy and extremely pleasant to be around and talk to. Especially Jade.

I got dances from Sophia tonight. Super sweet, sexy, and talented. Aurora was amazing on the stage as well. The bartender was kind and attentive, and the bouncer a good dude who had no time for nonsense. All in all, an exceptional visit. Will be back for certain, and I look forward to seeing the incredible talent again that they have in this place that is a piece of Portland history. Dont miss this club when having a night on the town. Even a Tuesday night was stellar!

While we were in the city we decided to cone here. It took us about 10 minutes to find a parking spot but it was worth it. This is the oldest club in the city and the girls were nice and hot and very talented. Sometimes they would even throw in random jokes which was really nice. There was a minimum 1 drink required which I had 4 because it was cheap. Overall it was a good experience.

Best strip club in town! The staff are friendly and the dancers are so talented. The club manages to walk the line between dive-y and classy, and the atmosphere is cozy. They have a jukebox on stage and its loaded with songs that the dancers get to pick themselves. Its an experience!

Its been a while since I visited, but I had such a great experience when I did go I felt compelled to give the props that they were due. The talent, drinks, food (from the restaurant adjacent the club) and the operation were all on point! On the rare occasions that I visit this type of establishment I like to ease in and see who I want to share my hard earned money with, so I particularly enjoyed the fact that I wasnt bombarded by a bunch of stank ass hoes right from the start, then completely ignored if I didnt throw cash around immediately! Marys was recommended by a co-worker, so when we had an out of town contract in Vancouver (from Seattle), a point was made to visit one of the nights we were there and it didnt disappoint! I liked it so much I even bought a jacket, and although tend to be a pervert, Im not to particularly fond of strip clubs, so that says something! Anyway, the horse is dead, and Im starting to beat it, so Im out!

Mary’s is a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture show: rough around the edges, very B-side vibe, and absolutely a cult-classic. It’s an essential staple of downtown Portland and a must visit particuarly if it’s your first time in the city. Staff, including bouncers, are welcoming with a small and what has been described as ‘intimate’ setting, the girls are friendly, and the beer selection is standard for this kind of joint, at standard prices. For tourists, Mary’s is a must-see novelty; for residents, Mary’s is a legacy. Either way, chances are you’ll find yourself winding up here!

This place is an institution, and has been on my Portland must-do list for a while. With much encouragement from my four male companions I decided to go for it one night, and I have to say I had a great time. The girls were all cute and had unique acts, the beer selection was good, and it had a nice retro feel that wasnt sleazy.

Went to Mary’s Saturday night with my man and $300. Enjoyed talking to the bouncer. Super fast drink service. Sat down up front, put some ones out. The dancer was in the middle of her set. As the second one began, I put out a few more ones. At which point the dancer addressed the couple next to me, but also me as well! “So what’s going on on this side? Dont you see the sign?” She pointed to the sign that said “this area reserved for tipping customers”. I had sat there for only three minutes and was ready and waiting for her to start giving a show. Instead she was rude, haughty, and snotty. Total turn off. We finished our drink. Then went back to the stage for another dancers show. But it didn’t really seem like we were getting our moneys worth. Couldn’t get any attention. Even put down $10 hoping for something a little more, and got nothing. We took our money and left. Go somewhere else.

Came to Portland for a visit. And of course I had to go to Marys! Omg, what a great place guys and gals. Just comfortable, GREAT STAFF AND LADIES! I went to a different club later and it just wasnt as good. Thank u for making my visit even better than it already was ladies. ;) keep up the good work

Bar tender was rude af as soon as i walked in. Had a huge group of men around her and wasnt trying to get my order. The strippers dont dance they talk and a lot but demand you tip. Cook is cool and bomb ass tacos but thats it

I went outside after paying cover charge for a smoke, when i went back in the doorman refused to let me back in without paying again. the place is dirty and service is rude. bartender threw out my drink after i became upset for being charged twice. im pretty sure they were racist after a different bartender asked how i got in. unbelievably bad service. there are much nicer places.

Staff are rude & disrespectful. I had a person next to me grab so ones off the stack in front of me. I notified the bouncer & was told “it’s only a couple of dollars so who cares?” Nothing was done. They allowed theft in their establishment. Don’t waste your time or money here. I will never go back.

The perfect place to go to if you want to go dancing in the city. There are a lot of people that go in here so mingling around wouldn’t be a problem, the best dance club around.

Been going to this strip place since the mid 90s. Can get crowded because it is so small, but during the week its a great place to hang out, watch girls dance, and have a beer.

This was the very first strip club I ever went to in 1984 or so while passing through town. Ive never been back since, but from what i remember, it wouldnt surprise me if some of the younger ones from then are still working there now

Visited twice during my 2 day stay in Portland. The level of women is extremely high. There was a woman who looked like Cameron Diaz and Emma Watson when she was younger. Among the many beauties, there was a woman who looked like Rie Shibata, but she also understood her character and entertained me with her full-on gag dancing. Next time you go, bring a bag full of dollar bills for tips.
