Each session we spend a little time chatting about how my body is feeling and if there is anything in particular I’d like him to work on. Ive been seeing Mason for deep tissue massages and have always had an amazing experience. The massage room and overall set-up is very soothing. Mason is awesome! I just had an amazing massage experience and loved it. He attentively addressed the tension spots in my body and worked through them. Entering the space I immediately felt calm, the lighting and ambiance was perfect for relaxing. The warmth, low light and wooden ceiling made me feel like I was in a sauna. Mason greeted me and made me feel comfortable as we entered the massage room. The bed was heated, with weighted blanket and calming music vibrated the entire bed. I melted away as mason massaged my whole body, taking care to leave me mostly covered under the warm blanket the entire time. He also used heated towels and a wonderful essential oil blend. I felt truly relaxed and my whole body vibrated with warmth and comfort. Would definitely come back again!

I had an amazing experience. The room is very tranquil. Soft sounds of water flowing, relaxing aroma therapy and a heated massage table. Mason brings impeccable skill in his massages. He helped open up my range of motion again and gave me one of the best massages I’ve had in a long time. At the end he offered some stretch techniques to complete the incredible experience. 10/10 would recommend Mason specifically!

Such a lovely experience from beginning to end. The lobby was beautifully decorated with plants, and Mason greeted me with such warmth. The table vibrates with music and is so comfortable and warm. The weighted blankets helped me feel so cozy and relaxed. The technique and grounded presence Mason offers is excellent. Wow! Walking into Immerse Modern Massage, my entire body immediately relaxed right at the front door. The aromatherapy is so intoxicating and soothing, and the ambiance is very nice. Walking into the treatment room was even better. They really did such a good job with the place! Not to mention the massage table! Wow!!! I hope my words can do this justice. This was my first ever professional massage, what an incredible experience! From the moment I got on the heated table (it also vibrates!) I already felt more relaxed. Mason is a wizard with his hands! I carry a lot of tension in my lower back and shoulders, and feel much looser and more relaxed and comfortable now. The amount of pressure was perfect- just enough to notice an effect after leaving the table, but never too much. The moment when he used a hot towel to gently pull on my neck was especially next level! Mason was also very professional, I never felt uncomfortable on his table. Mason did an incredible job working on my points of tension. Hes incredibly intuitive with good hands and a calming demeanor. The space was clean, well set up and incredibly calming to be in. Bonus points for the massage table giving subtle vibrations to the bass from the ambient music he has playing during sessions.

Mason is a skilled therapist. Ive held an Oregon LMT credential since 1989, and consider him one of the best Ive had the privilege of getting work from.The layout of his space has helped me relax. Warmed, weighted covers, hot towel compresses, speakers with soothing music attached to the underside of the table....After the sessions ( I purchased a five- session package), he has been showing me stretches to release my particular right areas.Five stars, for real.

Right away upon arriving I began to feel at ease, as every detail of the space clearly has the intention of helping you to relax. The heated table was especially comforting as I get cold very easily. I received a 90minute massage from Mason, and I can’t say enough how talented he truly is. I had let him know of some problem areas and he was especially careful and tended to my sore muscles incredibly well. After the 90mins was up, the best word to describe how I felt is Restored. I will definitely be returning for more sessions with him, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to feel some relief and restoration themselves.

My time working with Mason was absolutely incredible. I booked with him to help with a long-standing shoulder and arm injury that had become incredibly hard to live with.I worked with Mason for around three months. Over this period of time, my arm went from nearly unusable to being back to 85%! He also spoke with me about some good home exercises, and made recommendations for additional follow up as well. Mason has created a very deep healing space for his massage practice, with each part of the experience being very thought out. Amazing! I’ve had chronic back pain for over 10 years now, and seen plenty of massage therapists for that pain. None have taken as good care of me as Mason did. Ive been getting massages here regularly for the past few years, and I always look forward to the entire experience: the calming space, the relaxing music, and (optional) table heat, and of course, the massage itself. The therapists are always friendly and professional, and check in with you before, during, and after to make sure you get what you need from the session. An hour is good, but 90 minutes is even better. I always leave feeling amazing!

I did a 30 minute massage with Elexis, she was able to get a surprising amount done in the short time I was there. She was very attentive to detail and made sure to check in with me multiple times. We did a deep tissue massage, she used a good amount of pressure while maintaining a relaxing touch. Overall I left feeling very rejuvenated.The environment is also great with heated massage tables that have built in sound healing vibrations. The office had a nice ambiance including a water feature and soft yoga matt flooring. I would definitely recommend to check this place out!

Today I had the pleasure of receiving a wonderfully healing massage by Lexi. I haven’t had many massages, however of the few I have had this one was by far the most healing. It was so relaxing I was having to keep myself from drooling & genuinely wish it was a bit longer- hah! Excellent experience!From the moment I walked in the office, I was greeted with a warm pillow - which for someone who naturally is on the colder side was a great first impression! Then walking back to the massage space, entering into a dark teal room, with ambient lighting and a waterfall on the wall (YES. A waterfall!). I felt instantly at ease and comfortable.Once going through and addressing my pain points with Mason, I hopped onto the bed and snuggled under the covers. The weight of the blanket was so nice as I felt my nervous system relax deeper. And yes, I still had the heated pillow! Ahhhhhh, yes. Warmth and coziness.During the massage, I felt taken care of and totally IMMERSED in the experience because, all my senses were delighted!One of the coolest things was experiencing a massage with solfeggio frequencies! From the hot towel draped around my neck as soon as I arrived, to the sonic-vibrations running through the infa-red-heated table with (weighted!) heated blanket... Immerse Modern Massage has made me feel pampered and cared for. Additionally, my practitioner was extremely knowledgeable and insightful about the discomfort I was experiencing, and both made me feel better in the immediate, while accurately diagnosing and prescribing movement corrections to help me moving forward. This is a great massage studio! I highly recommend seeing Lexi for a massage. It was very relaxing and she did a great job using her hands along with other massage tools to open up my muscles. She used some cupping and hot stones for parts of my massage. She is very kind and responsive to what kind of pressure you like. I felt very grounded and rejuvenated afterwards.Also, they have the coolest massage table Ive experienced at a studio yet, really enhances the massage with its vibrating frequencies!

Mason with Light Owl Healing is very hospitable and made me feel very comfortable at my massage appointment. The space is very comfortable and cute. I am a full time college student and often have tightness in my back and shoulders from constantly being on a computer. After my massage, I feel a lot of relief and Mason even gave me some yoga exercises to help stretch and strengthen my back and core to improve my posture while on the computer. I highly recommend this spot for massage!

What an absolutely relaxing and healing place this is. I got a 90-minute massage for self care and to get ready for a long business trip across the country. The weighted blanket, and other lovely touches were just what I needed. Fox was a wonderful massage therapist and I’ll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful sound infused, Amethyst Infused, Infrared Heated massage with therapist, Mason, of Immerse Massage Portland.Even before arriving to the studio, I felt very well taken care of. He provided me with confirmation emails that included all the ways to prepare and how to find the studio space.As I approached the studio (which was a unit in a larger commercial building) I could already hear the relaxing music. Mason was there to greet me in what was a lightly lit room, the perfect lighting for a post-migraine massage which was the main reason I booked it.He sat me down, offered me water and began the oral intake - there was no written intake. He handed it over to me without any specific questions and said he wanted to understand more about me including my intention of being there. I could tell already that his approach was person-centered. He had a fountain going and amethysts decorating the room.Once we were finished speaking he left me in the room to undress to my comfort level and get under the heated, weighted, amethyst infrared blanket which was truly a treat.I started on my back. That was my preference as I really dislike face cradles and he was going to mainly work on neck and head anyway since I was coming down from my migraine. He mentioned that gravity would help him a lot if I were in a supine position as well.He started by exploring the range of motion in my neck. He moved slowly and I could tell he was very curious as he explained to me what he was seeing. This made me feel like I was in good hands. He started compression and this range of motion check with the blanket still on and once he took inventory as I like to call it he began.His effleurage strokes applied the CBD oils around the surfaces hed be massaging and he proceeded with moving my head from side to side in the most controlled and gentle manner to get into my scalenes and occipitals. I was completely impressed by the way he managed to move my head around quite a bit without it agitating me at all. It felt really good to stay moving after being sedentary so long the 12 hours before with my migraine.He regularly checked in about his pressure to ensure that I was comfortable. I noticed from the start that the bass of the music was a little too much for my liking and was quick to accommodate my wishes to turn down the bass. I definitely enjoyed feeling the music move through me as I was being massaged as well as the sound of the fountain which made me feel like I was out in nature.He proceeded to work my neck and head for a while and then moved down my arms which he explained were the extension of my neck. He did some friction and trigger point work in my forearms which definitely needed.He turned my over into a prone position for the last part of the massage where he did some long strokes on my back and petrissage. I was happy to not be in the prone position very long.I felt very well taken care of and enjoyed resting under the weighted blanket at the end until I was ready to get up and get dressed.He left plenty of time at the end to answer any questions and talk over what he uncovered as he worked on my body.I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working with Mason again.

The approach given by the masage therapist is holistic and includes some unique approaches to bodywork and the use of the senses(i.e using sound vibrations on the table). The experience here was awesome!

Awesome service! I went in for several sessions for some deep tissue and facia work and almost immediately after (and during) the sessions I was feeling much better. Mason performs excellent work, highly recommend!

Mason helped take so much pain out of my leg and was really good with hearing what I needed and made walking feel normal again for a few days.Strongly recommend.

Booked a massage and was running a little late due to most of the bridges across the river being closed that morning. We let them know and we’re only 8 minutes late and had booked back to back massages with half an hour between. When we arrived, as far as we could tell, no one was there and no reply to our calls or texts. We went without a massage today and will not be going back.Update, despite indicating needing the following (this) weekend after not receiving a response (contacted during listed business hours) when attempting to book last weekend (by phone or text as voucher indicated) apparently this was misunderstood. I’ll give credit for being frazzled or something but still messed up the whole weekend plans. This whole experience has been unsavory and unprofessional.

It transcended any imaginings I couldve anticipated prior to the experience.First off, Mason greeted me warmly at the door and we discussed what I did/not like about massages. The massage was perfectly focused on areas that I requested and at the same time, my entire body as a system was well-considered.Mason is intuitive and provided a massage that was the perfect balance of therapeutic and relaxing. The CBD massage oils were heavenly, the gentle grounding music reverberating the massage table was divine. The infrared heat and amethyst biomat, and fluffy gravity blanket filled with crystals made me never want to leave that table.What more do I need to say--book a massage with Mason as an investment in your own wellbeing.
