I cannot say enough about salon Bianco. Ive been going there for years now and the staff has always been amazing, my hairstylist Amy has met every demand Ive had with ease and amazing hair knowledge and skills. Highly recommend this place.

I love the experience at Salon Bianco. Scheduling through text was so accessible and easy! They asked great questions to match me with the perfect stylist. Jiji knows whats up! She helped me figure out what style I wanted and executed it perfectly. The atmosphere is very welcoming, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and neuroinclusive! As an autistic person, Ive never felt so comfortable during a hair cut. 25/10 will be going back!

I am so happy I connected with this salon. Very friendly and great atmosphere. They are LGBTQ+ friendly. Holly was so polite at the desk and JiJi just made me feel/look like a brand new woman. Id definitely recommend ❤️

We just got married May 20! It was an amazing day, in large part due to my fantastic hair and makeup artists, McKenzie Enright and Amanda Melo (done at Salon Bianco). We currently only have family-taken photos, but I will update the post when our professional photos come back.I live in Federal Hill so discovered McKenzie at Salon Bianco, and she put me at ease immediately, which I knew would help on my wedding day. She recommended Amanda Melo for makeup, as McKenzie is in the wedding industry and used Amanda for her own recent wedding, and said she was the best in the business. I could not agree more! Both McKenzie and Amanda were kind and calming be with, and more importantly, they were meticulous and made sure my hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted and looked perfect. I felt beautiful. The best thing was that everything held up all 12 hours despite running around in the rain for photos for two hours in the afternoon. I honestly don’t know how they did it, but my photos at the end of the night were just as good as my photos at the beginning of the day.

Amy is absolutely phenomenal. They took the time to explore potential options for me and gave me some wonderful options that turned out amazing. Once settled on a cut and color, Amy reviewed pricing with me and the prices are the fairest I’ve ever seen for a quality salon! Amy is so sweet and I loved our conversation during the session. The house cat and dog are a nice little perk too! Will be returning and recommending!

I am so glad to have found this gem of a salon. Super welcoming, friendly and caring vibes from the whole staff. I always leave feeling great and excited to come back the next time. Amy is awesome and we always have such fun, easy conversations while they color and style my hair.

I had just bad, painful and most expensive hair cut. It was nothing fancy just regular haircut costing me $120 with tips. While blow drying, my scalp was totally burning, I felt like the heat was too too much for me. But, I felt like not being rude and kept on getting tortured with the heat and pain. Now, I have rashes on my scalp which I never ever had in my entire life. I regret of giving the tips now. I had worked in service industry in the past and did it, but I did not like the service here at all.

Mackenzie did my hair for my wedding day and I absolutely LOVED it!! I was very nervous about getting my hair professionally done on my wedding given past poor experiences Ive had as a bridesmaid. Mackenzie was a breathe of fresh air - she truly listened to me and brought my vision to life. She was so kind and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Mackenzie for your wedding day hair!

Bethany and Holly have been wonderful. The salon is a really nice environment. Very comfortable. Ive never been disappointed and this is my go-to place and people!

I have gone to Salon Bianco for at least 15 years. I see Bethany the owner and she treats my hair like gold. I am there every 4 weeks for pampering and outstanding service. Everyone there is meticulous with their clients. My hair is gorgeous and I receive so many complements. I wouldn’t dream of leaving. Highly recommend!!!

LOVED Mackenzie - she did my & my full bridal partys hair for my wedding. She is extremely professional (and nice), and was able to take my bridesmaids vague ideas for hair and make them a reality! Everyone looked great :)

I love Salon Bianco and have seen Amy a couple of times now. Amy is an amazing hair dresser, her chair is a safe place, and her hands are the embodiment of talent. Now if you scroll through the reviews youll see a couple of negative remarks regarding this salon. Yes they are expensive but your hair is the first thing people judge you on. I dont make a lot of money but I go to this salon because I value their service. They use great products and those are built into the price as well as their time. If you cancel your appointment last minute thats a money loss for them so yeah there is a fee since they cant always fill that lost spot.And as with any artist be clear on what you want, bring example photos and utilize their consultations (free if I recall) to get on the same page. My latest hair creation was bright orange, like fire orange, which is just what I wanted and I get compliments on it EVERY day Im out and about. Worth it for me.

I needed a new hair spot and I don’t know why it took me so long to decide to come here, cause it’s incredible. I think I assumed anywhere on Atwells would be over priced and mediocre and this is not that at all. Izzy at the front desk is so sweet, patient and helpful (& you can text when you’re busy at work and don’t have a few minutes for a call!), and Amy who is my go to hair babe is 🔥. Knocks it out of the park every time for my cut and now new color, has a great personality, is super talented, really listens well, and even offered to break down how much it would cost before we did a big color change. There’s also a small dog and a cat and the owner has done my hair for a style before and it was also fab. Decor is cute and they’re super inclusive, I even remember reading about how they have a back private room able to accommodate folks who due to religious practices so they don’t have to be exposed in public. Like how seriously thoughtful. Covid practices are also great and they still require masks which is nice to see. Availability is flexible and it hasn’t been super hard to find an apt that works with my schedule and basically everything is 10/10.

My stylist is a wonderful creative artist who nailed it. Been going to Amy for a short time. She aims to please and devotes her time just trying to make you happy. I thank you Amy for making me feel good about my hair.Emily does my lashes, another talented person who does a fabulous job. If you are looking for a salon who has many experienced individuals, I highly recommend checking this place out, you will be happy you did.Dotti

I love salon Bianco. It’s truly a federal hill staple/atwells landmark. I’ve gotten my hair cut by Amy numerous times, wonderful cut and conversation every time. I also recently went in to see Bethany, the owner of the shop, for a perm and she was an absolute gem.If you’re looking for a solid, kind place for a reliable cut or other hair service, look no further. Bethany works damn hard to create the best space for her fellow stylists and clients and it shows. I will always give my business so salon bianco!

This place is beyond words with its amazingness . Its super clean, beautiful an inviting inside . the staff is very kind and LGBT friendly/understanding and respectful. My stylist was very knowledgeable , extremely friendly and relatable. It felt more like I was visiting a old friend rather than a hair salon. My hair looks so gorgeous now. Though it was relaxing it took the stylist no time at all to take my frizzy split end hair and to give it life . They styled my hair beautifully getting rid of all the dead ends without getting rid of the length by any truly measurable amount. Even though I walked in with confidence I walked out with even more. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone . They went above and beyond. Simple words cant describe how wonderful everything was i just cant say enough good things about them. I will absolutely never go to any other salon. Everyone at Salon Bianco, particularly Amy and Bethany, are beyond caring, friendly, and most importantly professional! I always leave the salon feeling my absolute best, and have one hundred percent trust in the both of them. Always impressed and never disappointed, I’m convinced there is nothing they can’t do!

Ive been going to Amy for a year now and have never felt so seen when it comes to my hair goals. They really get what Im going for and like to pause to check in with the haircut and if it matches my vision. I highly recommend going here if you want a truly validating haircut.

BEWARE RIP OFF !!!! I am literally in shock that this place stays in business. I went in for a partial foil on straight shoulder length hair. Charged me 200$ and all my friends and family could not even tell I had hair done. I literally met my family and friends for lunch an hour later and they said hair looks nice, did u decide not to get a foil?. I get hair foil every 2 months for 10+ years. I have always loved it and even got compliments from complete strangers. My hair is dark blonde and I showed a pic and told her I wanted it several shades lighter the woman says to me your hairstylist who Ive used for 30 years probably didnt use bleach right? I said definitely have always used bleach that scared me. I wish I left then never again. Also website said 85-125??? Also this is the first bad review I have ever given. It took me a week to get over the shock of being robbed by this salon????? Dont go there !!! Im traveling 2 hours to have my hair done right next week. Well worth the drive! Worst day EVER P.S. I was in shock I actually left a 20$ tip on top of 200$ I couldnt even think straight I guess I hoped the lighting was bad or it would lighten up in a day or two. LOL

Excellent stylists for the best cuts, color and makeup. Expert stylists listen and help you achieve the look you want or guide you to the best looks. I dont have hair extensions but have seen other clients at the salon getting extensions and they look awesome.

The staff at Salon Bianco is always professional an pleasant. Junior is nothing less than a miracle worker n terms of cut and color. I have fine but thick hair, and most people either leave it looking flat or out of control. He worked with me to find exactly the right style for my hair and needs.

I had a 1:00 appointment with Britney, when I got there Britney was supposedly finishing up on another customers hair style which took about 30 more mins even though the customers hair had already appeared to be finished. I got in the actual salon chair around 1:40 for what I expected to be nice, voluminous curls (showed the girl a picture and everything) she was done in 15 MINUTES. By the look of my hair it was obvious she had completely IGNORED the picture I showed her, not to mention my hair looked horrible which I think she knew since when she was done she said I think it looks beautiful Emphasis on the Ipart. I was left with plain regular everyday curls I could have done myself. Not only was I running behind schedule on my PROM DAY. I was now stuck with a crummy hair style that I eventually had to go home and fix myself. I could have sat there and told her to fix it but it was obvious by how she was using the curling iron that she did not know what she was doing. I dont doubt that Salon Bianco is a good salon, just be mindful of who is doing your hair. Just because youre licensed, doesnt exactly mean you know what youre doing. I highly recommend Betha, its obvious she knows what shes doing and puts a lot of time and effort into her work and making sure the customer loves it. Ive seen a lot of her work and shes amazing.. my fault for thinking the rest of her employees were on her same skill level.

I went to this salon once, as a last resort on my graduation day. I tried to get into one down the street but they were snooty, rude, and didnt accept walk ins. So I drove down Federal Hill until I came across Salon Bianco. I walked in & was greeted by the kind receptionist. Within 5 minutes, I was seated & was getting my hair done. I wanted simple curls that would fit under my graduation cap & the stylist absolutely understood and didnt argue or try to suggest something else. It took about 10 minutes, they looked great, lasted me all day & only cost $20! & everyone was very kind, congratulating me on my graduation. Im hoping to make an appointment there within the next week to get a hair cut :)

Jocelyn is a miracle worker! My hair needed serious help. After 2 visits to Salon Bianco, my hair looks fantastic. The environment is very relaxing as well. Highly recommended.

I did like this salon but had to cancel an appointment one day and when I called to cancel the receptionist said ok! your appointment was canceled! then when I called back to reschedule I was told I cant schedule a new appointment until I pay a $35 cancellation fee. I told the receptionist when I canceled she didnt tell me about the fee otherwise I wouldnt have canceled because thats an outrageous fee. I was then told I signed a form a year ago when I made my first appointment and it was written on there so I should have remembered whats on that form. Im very shocked the owner would have the receptionist work this way and not have them say that during the calls. Seems like a way to lose customers. I obviously wont be going back here and wont recommend it to my family and friends.

That was the single most expensive bad haircut I have ever received.I have never written a review online before and probably never will again.
