Thai Tranquility Bodywork

Hands down the best massage you can get. It’s basically a complete reset on your body. You get some cracks and some pops but mainly just a great ironing out for your muscles and an amazing stretch. You come out of it feeling like a billion bucks. Would highly recommend going for at least 90 minute - allows enough time to stretch everything and get fully relaxed and it feels like a perfect amount of time. Been here twice now and I certainly will be back. Very well valued too.

I had an amazing experience with Tong. They talked me through the entire session and made me feel so comfortable. I had sprained my lower back the week prior and all I received from western medicine was a muscle relaxer. Thai Bodywork WORKS literally almost immediately. 10/10 would recommend.

This was my second visit with Kullawan at Thai Tranquility and both sessions were excellent. I have some fairly serious neck and lower back problems and she wastes no time in zeroing in on the problem with interesting moves and deep tissue work. The office space is clean and quiet, and I have never seen such large and comfortable treatment rooms. Ill keep going back for more. Highly recommended!

The Traditional Thai massage here was excellent. Ning really knew what she was doing and provided very good deep pressure techniques combined with good stretching maneuvers. The room was clean and spacious. Go here if looking for Thai style massage

I have had wonderful massages with Mala and Kullawn. They are both amazing and have restored my flexibility and mobility. Their techniques are very percise and forceful and I have benefited with improvement in my hips a lower back. I look forward to having individual massages with each of the practitioners at Tranquility Bodywork so that I can experience the full spectrum of their skills.

Wow, what an experience!I had brought my mom there for her bday, the whole staff treat her with so much care, they were really flexible with making the last minute appointment work and did an amazing job with her massage...Later, I had to get one myself, Mala took great care of me, I highly recommend this place, cant wait to get back there!

Healing hands, peaceful space, neat, clean, professional. Kulluwan has been my favorite body therapist. I try to schedule an appointment every time I travel to the city. I love it there!

I go monthly for health and wellness massages. They do a lovely job on the whole body. I particularly focus on hip flexors, hip rotators, and lateral stiffness due to daily sitting at a desk most days and years of distance running. I also am seeing some long term release from soccer injuries that have misaligned my right leg and restricted flexibility. I’ve had massages with Rada and Jack; both were excellent. I look forward to my massage all month and always come out feeling great (and sore).

This was my first Thai massage and it was amazing! A friend of mine had only great things to say about them so I decided to give it a try. This place is very zen and clean, Kullawan is excellent at what she does and very kind. I felt great after the massage! I highly recommend them.I already book my next appointment!

This was my first time getting a thai massage and it was hands down one of the best massages Ive ever had. Traditional massages are relaxing and can work out knots, but this was unlike anything Ive experienced when it came to stretching my muscles and working out knots in my neck and back. If youre athletic or an active person you need Thai Tranquility!

Amazing massage - the whole-body experience was just what I needed. Staff was super nice and I loved the little bowl of York candy for after the treatment. One thing I would say is to arrive more than a few minutes early if youve never been there before as the building is a bit of a maze!

We visited for a couples massage and OMG afterwards we both had the reaction of amazing! We both got deep tissue massage and felt completely relaxed prior with music, dimmed lights and comfortable mattress with pillow. Part of the massage included essential oils. While its difficult to find one in the building, there are staff around to help find the office. I promise, youll love it!

Love it here, Im half Thai- born and raised in Bangkok, I moved here in 2011 and I gotta say this is as close to Thailand Ive ever been in Rhode Island! The staff here are amazing! I can’t even begin to give this place enough stars or praise. Despite what other reviews have mentioned, I had absolutely no difficulty finding the suite (if you park in a visitor spot, go into the door from the parking lot, take a quick right and you are in the right place). From the second I walked in, I felt like I was supposed to be there. I was warmly greeted by office staff and then again greeted by my therapist, Kullawan. I truly cannot put into words how skilled Kullawan is and how quickly she put my mind at ease. This was my very first Thai massage so I was not entirely sure what to expect. Kullawan was wonderful to chat with, checked in with me frequently throughout the massage regarding comfort and if the pressure she utilized was ok. I have gotten many standard massages and none even come close to comparing to this experience. It was everything I signed up for and more. I carry significant tension in my shoulders and Kullawan skillfully worked through this as if it were nothing. To say I’m impressed is an understatement and I will be adding this to my self care routine as often as I can. Because I went on Valentine’s Day, they gave out red roses and chocolate, which was a wonderful surprise. Thank you so much Kullawan and Thai Tranquility for this wonderful gift of relaxation, rejuvenation and well-being.

I recently had a total knee replacement and wasn’t able to get down on the floor for my footwork. Anne was very accommodating. She put a soft and supportive chair in the room, made me very comfortable with pillows, and did my treatment that way. The footwork was amazing. It was a very serene and relaxing experience. Ive been here twice now. The first time, I saw Kullawan and today I see Nee. Both times I had an amazing experience! I am a licensed massage therapist myself (traditional massage) with lots of experience in both giving and receiving massage. Not only this Thai Tranquility clean, comfortable and serene, but everyone is extremely nice and the therapists do amazing work. I especially love the stretching. You will not be disappointed! Thai Tranquility is a wonderful experience. I always am grateful for the careful and personal attention I receive. A full body massage from the soles of the feet to the crown of the head. Kullawan is an extraordinarily skilled Thai massage therapist who intuitively knows which parts of my body need extra attention.

In this massage, I felt that my whole body was beeing kneeded like one big muscle. The massage was wonderful and stretched my body to it limits (safely). My whole body feels more supple and relaxed now and Im definitely coming back for more of the same!

I don’t think another 5 star review of this place is needed (the first 200 were enough) But I like this spot so much I’m adding a review anyway. If you don’t mind laying on the (padded) floor, this is the most effective massage there is. They fix me every time. Staff is wonderful, treatment rooms charming a clean. A bit difficult to find unit in complex, but once you find it you’ll come back

I did not know what to expect going into this type of massage but really appreciated it afterwards. The inclusion of really great deep stretches was unexpected, but soooooo good for me as someone whose back, hips, knees, etc crack regularly and also as someone that works out regularly. This is not your typical deep tissue type of massage where you are laying on your belly for 90% of the massage so do not book with Thai Tranquility if that is what you are looking for. There is a good amount of movement and you are working in very close and intimate proximity with the therapist.

I’ve been practicing Thai massage, full time, for 14 years and I teach it. I also go back and forth from Thailand frequently.I wanted my husband to get a taste of why I love Thai massage and Thailand so much so i decided to book a couples treatment for his birthday.I am SO impressed with this center and my husband couldn’t stop raving! Thai Tranquility is an amazing experience. It’s different than going to a spa for a massage. Mala’s massage treatment is bodywork, creating a healthy whole body experience for me. I would recommend Thai tranquility to both young and older bodies because of the health benefits. For me, it lowers stress, gives me more energy and improves my range of motion. Because of the massage pressure along with the stretching, your bodies muscle circulation is increased and you feel energized when you leave. I am grateful to have found a knowledgeable and caring group.

My partner and I were looking to get a massage and Thai Tranquilly had excellent reviews and they lived up to them.We hadn’t had Thai massages before so we went for the 60 minute couples and both massage therapists were excellent and professional.We were given soft loose fitting clothing, given time to change and get comfortable in room.I cannot wait to come back and look forward to it!

Everyone is so helpful and accommodating at Thai Tranquility and Anne is no exception. Her massage techniques are very well developed as is her sensitivity to key areas. I even noticed an additional new method with a leg stretch and it felt very good. It was another great 90 minute session. I never want a session to end but as in all good things, everything must come to an end. Anything less than 90 minutes, I would feel cheated! 😂Anne is an exceedingly skilled massage therapist and I highly recommend her quality services.Ed 😊

This is the best overall message that I have ever received. I never knew the difference between a Thai massage verse a traditional massage, but there is an awesome difference. I feel like a million bucks after and cant wait to rebook. Lynn is extremely talented at knowing the right amount of pressure and uniquely aware of my limits even without saying them. I am very critical of massages as it’s hard to find someone that can actually help with my pain and tightness. I’ve unfortunately paid for many massages and have left tighter from being annoyed than I got there.This massage/treatment was my first Thai massage and was incredible . Kullawan did a phenomenal job in releasing all my knots, helping with my fibromyalgia pain and stretching my ridiculously tight body. Do the 90 minutes! I added on the extra foot massage as I suffer from get pain and that was amazing as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Great massage! Legit Thai massage. I was very satisfied with the session. Walked out pain free!

This was my first experience with Thai massage and I was nervous for a couple of reasons! First, I’m in a bigger body and second, I struggle with axial spondylarthritis and an L4-L5 disc injury. I was afraid of the extremes: my body would be too big and they couldn’t move me they way they wanted OR I’d be moved too much and end up aggravating my back. Neither was the case.If you’ve never been to a Thai massage before, you do it clothed. You can wear your own clothes but they shouldn’t be tight and you should be able to move easily in them. I wore my own stretchy/flowy pants but I did wear one of the shirts they provide and it fit no problem (another anxiety point for me coming for the first time haha). My therapist was so kind, made sure I had pillows in all the spots I needed them to remain pain free/comfortable. She had no problem working with my body size and if she did make any adjustments to how she normally does her work: she didn’t call it out and make a big deal about it. My diagnosis means I’m often just a walking knot. She stretched areas of my body that hadn’t been able to move that way since I received my diagnosis. She always checked in to make sure the pressure was okay but often times adjusted based on my body’s response. It’s the next day and I feel amazing. I went in with an active flair and spasm and left walking up right and without pain. I for sure will be including routine massages as part of my care plan moving forward. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!! Fully recommend. 20/10.

Having regularly received body work over the years for nagging injuries from a serious car accident. I have never actually experienced authentic Thai massage. But my own massage. Therapist told me that when she gets work done this is the place that she often goes. Based on that review, I came to tie tranquility. I saw Therapist Ning twice and in both occasion my expectations were surpassed. I experience great relief in my lower back and pelvis where most of my injuries occurred. Ning was very intuitive and attentive. It was fantastic session and I will be back regularly. Go would be my only recommendation!MT

Was looking to get a massage, and partner wanted to try her first ever massage, so specifically looking for a couples massage. Saw this place and figured wed give it a try.The building it is located in takes a second to navigate, but once you find it, its a very cozy and chill office they have. They were extremely friendly and got us to our massage room right away. They give you some nice, loose-fitting clothes to wear and let you get set up in the room.We had two masseuses, one spoke a little English, the other didnt seem to, but the language barrier was no issue, as we could communicate most issues like All good.Thai massage is different than traditional swedish massage, so make sure you know what it is going in. That being said, they did a phenomenal job and we both left feeling so relaxed and chill. Definitely would return!

This was only my second Thai massage, the first was in Thailand. My masseuse was Kullawan and she is very experienced. This was probably the best massage I’ve ever had, insofar as the result was complete relaxation of all my tight areas.

My partner and I went for the first time for a couple’s massage and we loved it! Highly recommend if you don’t enjoy typical Swedish massage! I also like the little bit of stretching that accompanies the massage.

I had never had a Thai massage and elected to have foot work. This came to include some work on my neck and upper back. I was not prepared for how I would feel during and afterwards…in a good way! The staff is excellent. I will definitely be coming back. I had my massage just yesterday and I have not felt pain relief like this in my feet in years. Very thankful to have found Thai tranquility!

I’d never had a Thai massage until today - and it was amaaaaazing!!! Everything about Tranquility is lovely, welcoming, peaceful. They provide whisper soft, loose and comfy clothes to wear, a dark room that helps you float into the experience - and bodywork that is truly both energizing and relaxing. Ning is great! Intuitive, generous, incredibly strong! She got deep into the muscles to really get at trouble spots. Fantastic!

I wish I could give Kullawan more than 5 stars. Best massage Ive ever received, hands down. She didnt treat me like another client, she treated me with what my body needed to receive. Tension, tight muscles and hip tightness. This was an experience that was relaxing and stress relieving. I saw Anne today & the experience was incredible. Id never had a thai massage before so I wasnt sure exactly what to expect. She talked me through the process, kept open communication, & was mindful of spots that I was having extra pain so we needed to go slower.I swear to god, Im 5 inches taller after this. I had a great massage with Kullawan. I was incredibly tight and was amazed that she was able to break through so many of my knots. Pre-massage pain was better and in some cases, gone altogether. Would def recommend and will be going back.

I booked my first appointment here as a birthday gift for myself. I went with the Thai footwork which was great. It is mainly focused on footwork but also includes your entire body. Kullawan was amazing. I felt wonderful afterwards and cant wait to go back for a bodywork massage. I have also recommended this place to friends and family :)

Excellent experience. Really worked my injuries without aggravating although a week of recovery is necessary. Mala was great. This is very different from massage. Really works all the tight areas including joints. Bodywork covers what massage and chiropractic and other modes of treatment do not. Definitely worth the money. I will go back.

I can tell you this place is Amazing! I was a pedestrian hit by an automobile twice broke my neck and back in 3 places I was told I should have died and should’ve been severely disabled for the rest of my life. After multiple surgeries I have decided to go with Massage Therapy and the women here are incredible I can not say it enough, from the owner and all of the staff I have been treated like family and I have not had a better experience anywhere else and I have tried hundreds of places. I want to give a big Thank you to DADA she has given me more relief than I have ever gotten. I know she is leaving soon and I hope she won’t be gone for too long. But this place is excellent at what they do and if deep tissue is what you need try them out you won’t be disappointed!

Walk in crooked and broken - walk out with a spring in your step. I am sure the entire crew there is excellent, but as someone who sees Tong whenever my 40+ year old body is hating me for the way I recklessly chose to put on my socks, Tong fixes me. She is undoubtedly the strongest human on the planet. The way she contorts and stretches my body, leaves me thinking I could easily go you one of those extreme yoga classes.Thank you Tong - see you the next time I attempt to put my pants on both legs at the same time!

Fantastic Thai massage. For those that havent experienced Thai massage, it can be relaxing but its more like deep tissue massage than the kind you go to a spa for. Intense pressure and trigger point releases are the name of the game here. Your masseuse will stretch you into positions where you will feel tension and will then massage the knots and fascial adhesions out. I know that might sound like it wont be relaxing but rest assured youll finish your session feeling like a bowl of Jello.

Very professional group, Mala is excellent; I felt both relaxed and refreshed afterwards. She focuses on my trouble spots and gave very good advice. I cant wait for my next session!

I got a couples massage here for my husbands birthday. The massage felt like it was shared out of love and genuine healing. Both my husband and I had such a wonderful experience. We wish we lived closer so we could come here all the time!

Chaba was great! She checked in on me multiple times to make sure I was enjoying the massage. It was a healing experience and I feel refreshed!

Overall fantastic,…. I had anne, she actually taught me alot about my body… im fat and out of shape but she was still great at hitting my pressure points and helping with an issue that no other chiro, acupuncture or therapist was able to find.!

This was just excellent!! It was our first time trying this type of massage and its now my favorite. My wife and I came for our anniversary and we both said not only do we feel refreshed but limber as well. Give them a try - plus their prices were surprisingly great.

Today, I feel at least 3 inches taller than yesterday. Thats because I just had a massage with Mala. She is incredibly strong and successfully tamed a lot of knots and tight muscles I had accumulated from sitting at the desk, driving long distances and starting a new workout routine. Highly recommend!

What a great experience! From the ease of scheduling the couples massage to the actual massage itself—everything was superb. Our ladies were fantastic and funny, and we left feeling relaxed and renewed. Unfortunately we don’t live in Providence or we would come back often!

Had a massage today from Tong. She always does great bodywork. Every massage seems to be better than the previous one. Tong is fantastic.

Thai massage is a very different than western style massage. Shirts and pants are left on and its more like an assisted stretch with some massage to warm up the muscles for the stretch. I always feel so loose after visiting. Highly recommend if your muscles are wicked tight and need stretching out. Great spot in Providence. Easy to get to from the highway and plenty of free parking.

Soooo worth it!♡♡♡ sometimes a bit painful in problem areas like my back & shoulders but by the end Im like a soft noodle. The tiger bomb they use (kinda like icy hot) smells so good; and the ladies there are all so nice and fun to talk to. Ive been going here for years and will continue to go forever ♡ I recently returned to work as a line cook 5 days a week for about 8-10hrs at a time and getting a massage on the first of my 2 days off is like an oasis in a desert ♡

I often get stiff upper backs and have been visiting Thai Tranquility since 2018. I have had two masseuses: Kullawan and Mala. Both of them provide very effective massages. My impression is that Kullawan performs more stretches, and Mala does better kneading. I just had a session with Mala. I walked in feeling like my shoulders were a block of cement, and an hour later I walked out able to feel my muscle fibers again.

I always find the massage at Thai Tranquility to be a positive and therapeutic experience, and today Nee worked on my neck with skill and knowledge that floored me.

This was a first for me. The space is clean and welcoming. Had the Footwork massage with Kullawan. What a great experience. Kullawan made me feel comfortable and really helped alleviate the muscle pain I’ve had on my upper foot and calf area. I’m looking forward to going back soon.

Thai massage is not just a massage, it involves stretching and working the knots on our entire body. I have introduced it to my husband, and he loves it.

Pulled my back this morning. My son suggested a massage at this place. It was the best recommendation... and provided great relief! Mala was amazing and was wonderful in stretching and putting the right pressure to relieve the pain immediately. I dont even live in PVD, but definitely plan to include a massage at this place during my next visits!!

Overall it was a good place and experience. Workers were welcoming, warm and polite. The massage session was good, music accompanied.However no outdoor signs or anything helping to get to the salon.
