For my birthday I received a gift certificate at Spathenee. I tried facial which was a great experience. I was very pleased with the staff and friendly atmosphere. The spa is clean and relaxing. After my first visit I signed up for the membership. I had one of THE best massage ever with the masseuse, Nana. I regularly get a therapeutic massage and I am very picky about my masseuse. Nana nailed it. I cant wait to go back next week.

Great intense, muscle soothing massage by Nam yesterday. I judge based on ability to listen to the customer, which she did expertly, and attention to detail and adjustments when requested. Added hot stones, which she utilized strategically. I feel absolutely tension free today!!

I never use the “extras” offered at other spas, so why pay for them.This spa offers a very special personal connection. An easy to use vibe. With nearly a dozen visits, I’ve yet to have a less than excellent experience.

Had a wonderful deep tissue massage! Full 50 min not 50 like most places plus I did a 15min scalp massage add on which was the cherry on top! The room was perfectly lit and comfortable, my therapist checked to make sure pressure was ok and if I had any special requests- she was communicative but not too much. I highly recommend Spathenee!

Wonderful experience today having a massage at Spathenee. I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist and checked in. The spa has a very relaxing ambiance. My therapist checked my chart before starting and concentrated on my problem areas. It was a mixed massage incorporating Thai and deep tissue massage . I felt very relaxed afterwards and would definitely recommend this spa to anyone wanting a professional massage.

I had my first 90 minute massage at Spathanee yesterday and I still feel great today! The massage was amazing and I didn’t want it to end. The facility is clean and the staff is very nice. I forgot to feed the meter and they took care of that for me. I’m looking forward to coming back for another massage and to try a sauna session.

Had a very nice relaxation massage and hot stones. Would recommend and at a reasonable price point. I have been coming here since it opened and every time it’s been consistent with very good treatments

I love Spathenee! I have been going here since it opened for years now! My favorite spot to go to for my massage :) this time I got 90 min massage for Mother’s Day and felt so great after! Went to sleep right away because I felt so relaxed! Booking another one within a week!

What a great wellness center. I use their top of the line IR Sauna on a regular basis. The facility is really clean. The staff is nice and accommodating. I also recommend their massages. It’s always a nice treat for my body and mind.

Had a client of mine rave about this place. So I booked a same day appointment. Upon arriving the receptionist greeted me and made me feel welcomed. I received a hot stone massage and it was amazing my masseuse was great. Will be returning.

This was my first visit here and I was very impressed with the attention to the little details that made this massage a positive experience. I especially loved the weighed heat blanket that covered my back while my legs were massaged. When I was laying on my back, a warm neck brace was used, and again, it’s just the smallest details that made the experience more enjoyable. My massage therapist was Nam, and she used the perfect pressure on my painful areas, and spent extra time on areas I noted feeling sore. I can’t wait to come back. 😊

I had the best lymphatic drainage massage here. Just 10 days from face lift and it was so wonderful, as well she instructed me on how to do this at home which was very helpful!

The massage place I’ve been searching for. The vibes were immaculate and my masseuse obviously cared and really focused on my problem areas. I have a bad back and am very picky about repeat visits if I don’t like the service. I immediately bought a bundle and booked my next appointment.

I recommend Spathenee wellness center in South Redondo Beach for aromatherapy massage and $15 add on back/foot sugar scrub. They offer a heated bed/pillow and clean sheets and rooms. Good massage.

90 min deep tissue massages are the way to go here. I loved them so much, after the 3rd one, I finally signed up for membership.

After doing a good amount of research on infrared sauna treatment for detoxification and recovery, I had my heart set on finding a location that had a Sunlighten unit. I was super excited when I found Spathénée in South Redondo had the exact sauna I was looking for. From the first time I went to Spathénée, the greeting has always been warm and welcoming. It was a cool night and I was sore from working out. I was shown the room that housed what had to be a three person sauna. They had already prepped it for me. It was at 156 degrees. (They ask for an hour in advance to prep the sauna). The room has a small fridge stocked with cold water bottles and cold cucumber scented wash clothes for you take into sauna with you. They offer you a nice cloth bathrobe if you’d like or same quality towels for your sauna time. Since the sauna was only for myself, I was able to stretch out and relax. This particular sauna offers different programs catered towards different goals (detox, relax, anti age, cardio, weight loss, pain relief). I prefer leaving it at the custom preset which targets all three of the types infrared (far, mid, near). Be prepared to get an amazing sweat in the next 30 minutes. By the time I was done, I felt like a new man. I was so impressed by the entire experience, I ended up purchasing 9 more sessions. Currently on my 9th session and about to buy another 10. Couldn’t think of a better way to end my day. Love this place.

Been here a few times, every time it’s great! Had multiple masseuses and felt great every time! They take the time to listen to your wants and dislikes. Highly recommend.

Came here 2x and the first was amazing.. the second was deceptive because I felt great at first then had what could only be described as carpel tunnel in my hands and forearms for a week after a relaxation massage.

I joined their membership program and go monthly to see Nam. She’s wonderful and so is the spa. I suffer from chronic back pain and it has helped greatly!!!

Hands downs the best massage I have ever received in my life. I told them that I workout but don’t stretch, I felt stiff and I’m a nurse who is on my feet for 12+ hours a day-they recommended the sports massage. Gida has gifted hands. She applied the perfect amount of pressure and pain. Every move felt intentional and she worked on all parts of my body. I got a 60 min but def should have got 90 mins. She cracked and massaged my soul-it was that good! Then she got on my back (like literally was sitting on my back) - once that happen I knew she wasn’t about to play no games. It’s a day later and I’m still raving about this massage. I’m from out of town and booked this last minute. If I could take Gida home with me I truly would. She is just that good. After getting that massage I realized that that was the first proper massage I have ever had. I felt so lite and free after. Thank you Gida-anytime I’m in Cali I will Make sure to stop by.

Nana is the best I have ever had, and I have had many massages in my 77 years. You wont find any better. The surroundings are tranquil and very clean. The staff is efficient and friendly. I am a member also.

I have been coming here since they opened and am always beyond satisfied. My favorite feature is they offer a Subscription so I can pay monthly at a discounted rate. Then, if I dont use a credit it rolls over. I travel quite a bit, so when I return I always have credits to use and it works out great.Every therapist Heidi, the owner, hires is always professional and really good at finding my tight muscles and helping me recover.Whether you are looking for deep tissue massage to target and heal specific areas, or a relaxing spa experience, Spathenee is definitely the place to go!

Spathenee is a wonderful haven in the Riviera Village. It has been an absolute godsend for the past 6 weeks as two of my immediate family members gained angel status. The team is wonderful—especially Karmen—she goes above and beyond for clients and is so professional and kind. My deep tissue massages are consistently awesome. In summary, I highly recommend Spathenee (and I am picky being spoiled as a NYC girl) and am so grateful for the support during these very intense times.

I’ve had both massage and chiropractor work done there and both experiences were top notch!I’ve had chronic back problems to the point where I’d considered surgery and all it took was a few weeks of appointments and I had a ton of mobility restored and the pain was nearly gone.I highly recommend this spa!

I went here by referral of a friend. I did a same day appointment for 90 combination massage with Lee (sp?), it was fantastic. The place is very clean and organized. The check in was quick and smooth. Lee started right on time. She applied the perfect amount of pressure. I will definitely return.
