Massage Envy

Ive been a member of Massage Envy for some time now, and while I appreciate the services they offer, there are a few frustrations with their website and booking system that need addressing.Firstly, its nearly impossible to secure a booking for a deep tissue massage without at least a weeks notice. This makes it incredibly inconvenient for those of us who have busy schedules or need a massage on shorter notice. Additionally, the website does not provide any information on how many credits remain in my account. This lack of transparency is frustrating and makes it difficult to manage my membership effectively.While the massages Ive received have generally been good, the quality can vary. Some sessions have been excellent, while others have been just okay. Overall, the massages are not consistently stellar, which is disappointing considering the cost of the membership.I hope Massage Envy can improve their booking system and website to provide a more seamless and user-friendly experience for their members.---

An absolute wonderful experience from the front desk reps to the therapist. Everyone is knowledgeable and freely share tips and they promote self care. Isaacs hands are magic his strength comes from within.

I regularly work with Robert who builds on each session with those areas that give me the most relief and the most relaxation. I highly recommend him.

Very rude and unprofessional I called and asked question about 3 expired sessions that just expired onSeptember 29,2023 I tried booking and appointment at WingHaven location prior to expiration date at time this location had a new manager that I spoke with and she stated they just had hired a new esthetician wouldnt be starting for a couple weeks .Tried booking and appointment today and because I dont desire a membership with Spa Envy they wouldnt honor expired sessions. If they had better customer service and reliable techs I wouldnt have mind becoming a member.

Justin listened and was attentive to my requests. He did a fantastic job.

The weekend desk clerk was so very helpful. I was there at 8 am on Saturday morning and she was so sweet and helpful. She told me about Massage Envy’s three month deal. $225 for four visits. I signed up and am a very happy customer. Jeremiah was my masseuse and he did a great job. I wasn’t sore afterwards. Felt loose and good. Going back next week to try bio freeze I think it’s called. Supposed to help with tight sore muscles!

Least relaxing customer service experience. I did a three month trial, was told that they would not charge me after the trial was over month to month, come to find I have 4 months of charges on my credit card statement without a single call from Massage Envy to let me know that maybe I should consider making an appointment. Tried getting a refund and the manager denied me and I have limited time to use massage credits. Miscommunication from staff and management about billing practices. Not transparent or customer friendly.

This massage Envy is unprofessional and will scam you out of services that youve paid for. Go somewhere else. I was given bad information by multiple people here. Then told even though they provided bad information I would not be allowed to use services I had already paid for. Very bad experience. And the manager was not helpful at all... Im sure I am not the only person whos recieved the short end of their poor communication and knowledge of their own policy.

Friendly front desk staff who went out of her way to help me find an appointment when I explained why I needed it.Loved my massage therapist Natalie. She was very helpful and made me feel relaxed. After finding out what I needed worked on she concentrated on making sure those areas were thoroughly done. She was great at her job.

Great customer service at the front desk!! They have quite a few different therapist with varying styles. Ive been coming here for over a year. Its a nice spot.

I have always had such a great experience with Massage Envy (especially this location)! From massages to facials, my experience has always been top-notch! The manager at this location (Lindsey) is the best! She is seriously the sweetest and is always so accommodating! The memberships they offer are a great deal and save you a lot of money if you are wanting a monthly facial or massage. I highly recommend massage envy to everyone! There is no comparison over all other places I have been to!

I have been frequenting this location for about a year and found a massage therapist I really like! I see her about once or twice a month (depending on how crazy my schedule is) and everything was always fine.Then, last week I had an experience with the front desk that will have me not coming back. They messed up my appointment date and the woman on the phone was so rude about it. She kept insisting that it was my mistake and ended out call with just go somewhere else then So I did. I went to the location on Clayton that day and the massage and staff there is WONDERFUL.It is a shame to treat a loyal customer that way because they have lost a client and the massage therapist I saw has to suffer for the rude front desk.

Just avoid the days that Casey is there at the front desk (weekends) and you’re good to go! She is overly aggressive and she killed my mood before my massage!I have tried different branches of Massage Envy’s, this place is the best. All the staff (except Casey) and technicians are very friendly and welcoming. My favorite masseuses are MeMe and Tiffany, and their new aesthetician, Piper, is amazing! My husband also had a great experience with Jeremiah.

Highly recommended. Friendly, helpful, and clean. Every therapist I’ve seen here is great, but I have to say Meme is absolutely amazing, above and beyond. She has a healing and inviting energy along with great technique. I cannot say enough about it! 🤍 Thank you for providing such a wonderful service!

The heat from the hot stones was nice but the massage itself was not that great. I informed the therapist that my problem areas were my back and shoulders and while she did put effort into my shoulders, I was disappointed that she did not put in the same effort for my back. After the session I let her know that my back was still in pain and her advice was to apply a heat pad. I pretty much came to this location for a heat application to my body, which I can do at home. I should be able to visit any massage envy and receive the same treatment nationwide, however, each location is different depending on the owner. It seems like if it isnt your regular clinic, therapists do not put in much effort to ensure client needs are met.

I cannot begin to explain the horrific experience I had between this location and the Creve Coeur location. If you think buying a gift card for yourself and saving it for another time works, it doesn’t. If someone else books an appointment for you to surprise you they will use your gift card without your permission and the credit card information of the person who booked it for you and then tell you it’s all take care of. Who gave them the right to use my gift card without my permission when someone else booked the appointment and paid for it! Considering I thought I had two unused gift cards when I went to check out for my massage, they said they were redeemed. They would not let me leave the store until I paid, AGAIN.AND then argue with you about how it’s your fault and everyone involved including the other store. The management from each store that I talked to, never once asked how they can fix the issue, just the fact is was my fault…. Awful terrible customer service. I will never set a foot back in a massage envy. Massage luxe has always been more professional and kind. I shouldn’t have took this risk.

DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT. They call you incessantly and are rude. I recently was able to cancel my contract but cant use my credits due to a Corporate issue. You can use your credits anywhere! Not true. They are hard to work with and unhelpful. Wish I had never gone in. Massages are very average.

Always a great experience; clean, soothing, and friendly service. I’ve had massages with both Georgi and Arianna and they are fabulous if you like deep pressure; really alleviate my pain. Massages are expensive everywhere, but here if you sign up for their membership program it really helps keep the cost affordable .

I have been going to this location for the past 3 years and have always had a great experience. The ladies up front are always very personable greeting me as I walk in. The main person I go to for massages is Jeremiah. He knows the exact areas to target and is very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend this location, and if your looking for a top-notch deep tissue massage then Jeremiah is your guy!

Meme was excellent. She did such a great job. I used one of my sisters extra maasages and was in St Louis on vacation, visiting family. Her massage was so good, I am thinking of joining so I can see her when Im in St Louis, every few months.

The massage therapist did not seem to have a good understanding of anatomy and where muscles are and she has been practicing for a year. She was massaging bone and ligament a lot of the time. I kept expecting it to get better and it never did. I really hate to complain about a massage but it just wasn’t good. In my opinion chiropractic office massage therapists are better and I probably won’t return to massage envy.

CAVEAT EMPTOR (Let the buyer beware)Those individuals providing the massages are good but the business practices of this company are bad!We were on a monthly massage plan. When COVID Hit, we were unable to go.We requested them to stop the accrual. They did not. We finally got them to stop but not until we had accrued over 8 months worth.1. If you come in to use a massage now, it reactivates a charge for an additional massage each month.2. They offered to put the account on hold for a fee of $10/month - wholly unacceptable.3. We can transfer our massages to another person - again for a $10 fee. Why?4. Only one transfer per month permitted. What?!?5. You cannot transfer to the same person, even with the fee. This is our money they have...so we asked them to refund the money.6. They will not refund our surplus (now up to 8 massages)IF you sign up for a monthly plan and do not use them, it’s almost impossible to use them up.

My mother received a “massage” from Brina on May 29th 2021. The bruises and swelling she has received is absolutely awful. She said she communicated to ease up several times and she did not listen to her requests. My mom is a massage therapist herself and also told Brina this. We will be contacting corporate about this with pictures. Massage Envy has a terrible reputation of not protecting their clients from abuse and this needs to END.

Massage by Jeremy was phenomenal. He was attentive, engaging and made sure that I was comfortable and that my needs were met. I left feeling incredibly relaxed and energized.

My favorite of all the MEs. Super nice Frontdesk staff is fairly consistent and recognizes me after only a few trips. There is high staff turnover of the therapists, but I think thats a given for this industry. Ive rarely encountered a noise problem while in my massage, which I do notice in other branches.

I went a couple of Saturdays ago, and it felt like I was at a beach and someone was rubbing tanning lotion into me. It was my first time really getting a massage, however my chiropracter spends a lot of time on bodywork before actually doing an adjustment, and I always thought thats what a massage would be. You actually feel loose when hes done. Or if you have a problem area, he focuses on it and really works it out.Towards the end, when I realized that this was all it was going to be, and she wasnt just getting warmed up, I told her that she could massage way harder, and that I hadnt really felt anything so far, she said, Well times almost up anyway.. Also, I noticed she didnt do the same thing on my right arm/hands and she did on my left. It was as if she had no system, or no learned way of what she was supposed to do. I believe her name was Angie. Absolute waste of money. On the upside, they did give me an awesome Dixie cup full of water. Yum!

Had an appointment with Natalie and she was amazing! Perfect balance between gentle and firm pressure. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience here!! The massage from Farrah was A1!! I have been to many Massage Envy locations around the country and this by far was the best experience I have had!!! 5 out of 5 stars!!

Love this place! Georgi is AMAZING and the front desk staff is great! They greet me by name every time I come in, which I really appreciate. The location is very clean and relaxing.

New store is BEAUTIFUL! I had a massage with Nate and it was honestly the best massage Ive ever had. Front desk girls were great as well!
