I stopped by for lunch. Service was quick, and very friendly. I ordered a burger and fries. Flavor was alright but everything was very oily. The burger bun was almost soaked through with oil.I also never expected to be listening to 2 hours of trap music whilst eating in a rodeo ranch styled venue.

The club was going up a a Tuesday! Five star atmosphere and friendly staff but $7 a beer is crazy

Went on a Monday and it was chill, but a cool environment. Played the games and had a few drinks. Some bartenders either get pushy or completely ignore people when its slow, but these ones were attentive and the drinks were made correctly. The security guards at the front (Loren and Diego) were extremely helpful and kind. They really are what made the experience so great. They were professional and personable, but not the top-flight security annoying type professional. Just good at their jobs.

Loved the energy in the place, good music bunch of diffewnr DJs with each their own style but still keeps the party going. Good drink and great staff members to security to bartenders. Love this place for a while now. Always some sort of entertainment going on.

Security is very aggressive. They’re looking to hurt anyone for absolutely no reason. The smallest security with tattoos walking around shirtless acting very hostile making every one uncomfortable. This atmosphere is not one anyone should be a part of. Unless you like prison stay away from this place for your safety. Taylor makes horrendous drinks & the place smells like sewer & beer.

I was there for Oct 2022 Halloween Bar Crawl.It stunk so bad, sewer bad. Im so suprised that no other comments say anything about it.I actually have no idea why I stayed that night just to get a stupid drink when there were plenty of other places (that didnt stink ...literally)Service was horrible, stood forever until someone finally noticed me, and no at the time no one else was around me ordering. Left as soon as I downed the drink.Leaving a comment now because I saw that this is the place they are having the after party at, on the upcoming St. Patricks Day Bar Crawl and Im very disappointed cause I have no interest in coming back.

Yes, theyre open for happy hour! Some bars are open along Mill Ave after COVID closures. Open until 2 am.

My drink had a hair in it…..twice. overheard security talking about having gonorrhea, on top of that a security guy called my friend fat when they thought we had fully walked away. Food tasted like hospital food and the staff/security is rude with nothing better to do.

The best place on mill! The positive energy in the bar is contagious, and I’ve never heard anything but amazing things about it!! The music is great, and that’s an understatement. The body guards and bouncers are really cool and well mannered. And the service is great even when they’re slammed. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking to have a Good time

This place is definitely lit on Friday nights. The dancefloor gets packed and pretty hard to get through as the set up is interesting with the bar being centered. The bull being put in with the DJ area draws everyone to one side of the bar leaving the table area fully open, at least the night I was there. Cant speak to the drinks but the music was good and people enjoyed the bull, several girls got up on the bar and left not much for the imagination. Great entertainment!

Bar vibe is fine. Slow Sunday night DJ was good.Unfortunate that there was unethical employee who increased my tip amount to more than 50% of total bill. I spent bit over $133 total, but was charged a bit over $200. This is fine.Next day, I called and even came to the bar to prove that I, as credit card owner, does not consent with tip amount. A waitress kept saying they only go by whatever is written on tip amount, while she provided no way of proving who wrote the tip amount. She suddenly became quite defensive and offensive by saying shes doing me a favor and trying to help, while only solution she provided is nothing on the bar side and pushed me to go through bank dispute. She probably didnt know I am doing Her the favor by not raising red flag of the business through dispute and wasting my time going to the bar to prove I as card holder.I will keep this review until outcome of the dispute and post an update after.

UNLAWFUL CHARGES on Saturday October 30th. I attended a bar crawl that rodeo ranch participated in. The bar crawl featured 5 dollar shots. After getting a few I noticed that the bill did not reflect the discount. I let the bartender know and she rang me up a new bill. After seeing my bank account a few days later I realized the bartender charged me for both tickets even though it was the exact same sale. The first ticket (the wrong ticket) was totaled at around 60 dollars. I need a full refund for this amount. This is an unlawful practice and have sent one email with no response . I will act further if nothing is done. I’m a reasonable person and really just want my money back.

They fixed my old Chevy with respect for the fact I still love it. Met my wife of 39yrs in this Chevy. Dam proud to know you Aamco .

Came here tonight with some friends to celebrate a friend getting married. Bouncers turned us down for wearing lululemon shorts when they cost more than what they make in 2 hours and asked for a $30 cover. They love trying to take advantage of students and guests out of state. Hope they’re ok with losing customers cuz apparently they are. Also Varsity is owned by the same owners of Rodeo so don’t bother going there. They’ll just rip you off just as bad. Waiters and bouncers will rip you of all your money. Just desperate, heartless workers looking for desperate cash. Hands down worse college bar I’ve ever been to. Hope they go out of business for the way they treat their customers. Worse experience I’ve ever had so shout out to y’all for that.

If I could give a zero, I would. We were on a bachelorette, and the bride wanted to ride the mechanical Bull. The maid of honor called an hour before and they said the bull was up and running. We got there and the Bull was not working and we’re told that it had been broken for a day. We spent a ton of money on rides to come out there. The bartender was extremely rude when we asked about it. The bar smells awful, the bathrooms were disgusting. Don’t go there.

We had very bad experience, my friend was inside the Rodeo ranch next to the door facing mills avenue and We were outside the venue . Security all of sudden push me though I’m outside and also 3 securities pushed and assaulted my friend . Tempe Police also arrested my friend as Securities pushed him out . It was very bad behavior and rude behavior. We will not recommend this place as pain we underwent was severe . We are not sure what was the proof and why these securities pushed my friend and assaulted and cornered us to this bad situation. We seriously wants the management and owner of the facility to take strict action on the security and go over the CCTV footage at 1:45 am 10/30/22. We feel very sorry for our friend as he can be out of detention center on the following day . This is not at all the safest place and you will be trapped and impact your career.

The security here is over aggressive and ridiculous. Went here to celebrate a birthday with a group of friends and paid to ride the Bull and someone had a problem with our group going back to back and became extremely angry. Instead of security asking what was going on they immediately became physical with our group of 6 ( all POC/African American) and physically assaulted all of us including 3 women. I would NEVER recommend this place to any POC that care about their lives. This second rate security team felt the need to hold a Black man down with their knee on his neck when we would have peacefully left if given the chance. The police department even mentioned that the security there are over aggressive and this happens all the time. Please also read other recent reviews, employees will make their own tip on your card and racially profile guests about their identity. I would give them 0/5 stars if it were an option. What was supposed to be a celebratory night for a group of people is now something that has traumatized me because we were discriminated against because the color of our skin. I would not want this to happen to anybody else ESPECIALLY POC folks. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE AND THEIR PREJUDICE OVER AGRESSIVE SECURITY.

I love this place. From the owners to the DJ “FLEX”, not to mention the amazing bartenders, bottle girls and bouncers it’s truly a one of a kind bar. The atmosphere is unlike any other and I’m so lucky to know these amazing people!! Rodeo Ranch never disappoints.

This bar is Horrible. The Security Guard wearing a ski Mask assaulted my sister and said he doesnt care if she was a woman. He also works with Tempe Police telling lies to send her to Jail. Food is horrible.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. I came in on a hot day to get an icewater (with cash in hand). An employee came up to me and suddenly became very aggressive, demanding ID. Before I could show it to him, he put his hands on me and told me to get out now. I was totally shocked. I had never been kicked out of a bar before, and I was stone cold sober. My friends and I will be staying far away from this place. Rodeo Ranch is a disgrace, even for Mill Avenue.

Rodeo ranch a bar notorious for letting under 21 year olds in asked me for not 2 but 3 forms of valid ID after which I was denied for “giving attitude” about it sorry if I find it obsurd to ask someone actually over 21 for more than two forms of ID when half the crowd inside is not of age. Also they made their own employees write positive reviews to increase their rep. If you’re under 21 this is the bar for you! If you’re actually of age stay away.

This bar is A M A Z I N G!!! every night seems to be a party, even mondays! i went in on tuesday and they were offering free pizza all night long. you can really tell the employees love their job and actually want to be there!!! you can’t find genuine service anywhere anymore ... this is why i recommend rodeo ranch to everyone! the mechanical bull is the cherry on top of a wild night!!

Unfortunately, this was branding done allllll wrong…. Sad because the venue has a lot of potential- but understandable with Dierks bar down the street. On top of that tips are decided via bartender! Which leaves her short when most folks would have tipped more;) love it but for those reasons I’m out

This place is a joke. If you want to pay full price for top shelf liquor and receive well liquor, go here. Also you may be puked on while at the bar and then be told to leave. It’s also packed like sardines and sells $7 coors light bottles.

This bar is exactly what Mill Ave has been missing!! Lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and always a fun time. Whenever my friends and I decide to go to Rodeo Ranch, we know we’re in for a great night!

Absolutely love this place , the concept is unlike anything around here and has a prime location. If you are in Tempe this is definitely the spot to be. There is always something for everybody in the mix , the staff is extremely friendly and took care of me and my friends for my birthday this year. What a Night...#Chicks

Unlike most Tempe/Scottsdale bars, Rodeo is a lot more interactive with everyone that comes in! There’re people to greet you with the best attitudes at the door, bar, tables, and bull. Yes, they have a BULL. This is most definitely a destination spot so if you haven’t hit it already I would highly suggest it!

Is it normal that the security outside asks people where they are « originally from »? Because I didn’t see him asking that same question to the two Caucasian girls in front of me, nor did he ask my friend, who is European, where she is from. He grabbed my ID, asked me, « where are you originally from? » and then proceed to take a picture of it. I was at loss of words. Definitely made me feel uncomfortable and like I didn’t belong there because of my ethnicity. If this is how you treat people of color there, simply wow.

Might be a fun bar, but for 2 ipas being 12 dollars i will not return. Its not like these were pints being served. Plus the staff didnt seem friendly or interested to help customers.

Security(actually 3 of them) were assaulting and man handling a single person. The worst in Mills Ave. Avoid the cheap and disgraceful place. I would be choosing some other place which treats customers with some respect.

Doorman directed me to a great late night pizzarea across the street. I came back to say thanks, came in enjoyed the rodeo, music & adult beverages.

Best bar on mill! There’s never been a time where i don’t have fun here! Music,Vibes, and drinks are all 10/10!!!

The manager was kind, beautiful and took care of us well and even remembered us after leaving and coming back after a few hours. 10/10 would recommend this place for a good time.

Definitely a college bar. Slower service than the other bars on Mill Ave. Probably not a place we will go again. I am sure the college kids love it.
