Gem Nightclub

Don’t go here. It is no longer the best Latin club in Salt Lake City. It has completely gone down the drain. Looks like they are about to shut down. Low budget. Ac seemed to be turned off. If you want a good night out and visiting go to main st. They have twist around the corner and a few other places. DO NOT COME TO GEM. Promoters and employees post old videos. It is as bad as Ibiza.

Love the new vibes here since they changed ownership and reopened in July!! Love the fish bowls and the fact that you can get real bottle service if you order champagne! Also love that there are three different clubs with different music in each one now so you can bounce around! Plus all the workers are good looking, nice and hard working too! Everything is just way better at this club now! We got a custom marquee sign with our table so it was really fun!! Would highly recommend booking a table here! They also have a guest list you can get on so that you can get in free!

Had an amazing time at Gem Night Club. We are from out of town and Gem was highly recommended. Its a great place to dance, meet people (of all ages) eat...and just hang. If youre in Utah, make Gem the go-to place.

I decided to give this club a try since it was under new ownership. The new club mostly plays Latin now. And not so much hip hop. The Hip hop side was hard to get too.Something about it isnt welcoming the dance floor or was it the room. Lol. But Drinks are always good. Never had problems with bartenders. But some staff are not so friendly.

THIS IS THE BEST weekend spot in all of SLC! Friday and Saturday is full of fun, amazing drinks, good atmosphere, and poppin DJs. Plus the staff is top tier with customer experience being at the forefront… and a plus is all the women are drop dead gorgeous! I’ll forever be a customer of GEM!!

This is the perfect place to come celebrate whatever you have going on birthdays especially. They have great tables and the cute servers and bottles girl!s bartenders cover your wants! They got you! Haitham and Jocelyn run that place so dam goood!!!!👌🏽🍺🍻

This place is so amazing and their management team is the best. I lost my passport there an literally they went out of their way to help me get it back! The music is SOOOOO Good. Specially if you like old reggaeton. Love this place and their staff.

I remember when it was Karma/Echo. There were fights every weekend and I even seen Security get beat up. Lol came this past weekend for Nelly and I can tell nobody wants any problems with the Polynesian Security they have now. Watched these 2 groups almost duke it out on the dance floor and all it took was one polynesian security to de-escalate it. I guarantee they lose the polynesian security there will be a lot more action! If you scared, go to church lol. Drinks are watered down and over priced so pre game for sure. Dont bring in any weapons, pepper spray or chewing Gum!! They will charge to hold your personal items!

Love the new upgrades in the building! I talked to the owner and was told the new sound system will MAKE IT THE DOPEST CLUB OUT HERE! I’m ready

The lady in the front tipped herself without my consent. Everyone in my group paid a different entrance price some were way over charged! Drinks were overpriced.Very pushy for tips.

This club thinks its in New York or Miami. They are intentionally trying to set themselves up to look like a high-end club by setting up exaggerate security checkpoint and ridiculously over-priced drinks ($25 for a corona and a vodka tonic!). In reality, the space is rather limited. Their dance floor is small. Also, they charged me twice on a single order on my credit card. If I hadnt checked, it wouldve gone unnoticed. Filing a dispute now. If you order drinks here, check your transaction record later to make sure they didnt slip in an extra charge. Save yourself money and trouble by going to better clubs.

I recently came to gem , and If I could give this nightclub zero stars, I would staff extremely pushy for tips. I am a medical patient and legally they’re not allowed to ask me for my medical card, and they still wouldn’t let me pass through without .tipping them. Their worker was very pushy. was looking at my phone to seeHow much money I had in my bank account (so disrespectful) and when they were trying to get me to tip them, I told them no I can’t tip them. I didn’t have enough money to tip them and then when they weren’t letting me in ( in very cold weather) . I conceded and tried to tip them on Venmo the person lied to me and told me it didn’t go through so they had me try cash app and they had two transactions go through, that’s extremely shady. I don’t really like that I am telling all my friends and family never to go there. staff very very very pushy and very tip hungry. All in all Zero stars preferred this club when it was Echo, at least there staff never tried to hustle there guests!!!

Gem club is a total vibe. They have some of the most dope events youll find in SLC. You ever out and your looking to party this place is highly recommended. They dont serve food, but if you do get hungry Gems is located right next to over 6 different food trucks to choose from. 8-10 on the experience. You guys should check it out for yourself

I love that you can come here to dance and have fun, plenty of booths and a huge dance floor / stage! Having multiple clubs in one for different vibes is awesome, one cover charge for the entire building is a huge plus!! Loved the drinks and it’s also fast and easy to get service here. No place like it in SLC

Such a fun spot to be on a friday or saturday! The music is good, quick service, friendly staff AND bartenders are SUPER sweet. i could stay here all night long instead of bar hopping because there’s so many clubs in one! This place is one of my absolute favorites.

Horrible place no one is here and it’s 11:46pm. I read a review that they played hip-hop here and they don’t. We were told outside in the line that it was $10 and then when we got in the girl said $15. Utah has no good club spots. I will never come here again.

Cover fee is $20 on top of drinks. It’s a no go.

I recently came in with my partner. It was nice this time. Like I mentioned before, the drinks are pricey and watered down so definitely come pregame.

Absolute garbage club this club replaced a Latin club echo that was full of people, now its just a basic garbage hip hop club for white hipsters that have that one token trophy black friend and pretend theyre into real hip hop when its just top 40 garbage and mumble rap for white hipsters from California Washington and Oregon. Literally there is more to the world that hip hop clubs .

I love this place, the DJs are incredible and the music makes me feel like Im in my country, mainly its old reggaeton.Bottle girls are beautiful and you can celebrate any special event.
