Body Massage Facial & Head SPA - Miramar

I reached out to book my first facial appointment at Forest House Spa today and was able to be seen the same day. I had a European Facial with Coco and it was AMAZING. So much of the facial was relaxing, and the deep cleaning/any parts that might not be “relaxing” she gave me a heads up beforehand. This is the best spa experience I’ve had, and I started a membership the same day during checkout. I would highly recommend.

I discovered this place online and tried the Stress Melt Scalp Treatment. Oh my gosh, it was amazing. So amazing in fact, that I went back two weeks later to do the same treatment again! Its like a facial for your scalp and hair plus a massage. I have fine hair that gets tangled and a sensitive scalp and this was just what I needed! What an amazing experience - I have been raving about it to everyone. I cannot wait to go back and try more of the treatments at this lovely spa!

I had the stress melt scalp treatment for Mother’s Day treat. I felt so relaxed and fell asleep. My favorite was sound of the dripping water on my head. My scalp felt so clean. The spa room is cozy and clean. I just wish there’s more option for the scent for aroma therapy oil. A foot massage will something I will request add next time.

What an experience! I strongly recommend booking a treatment! We did the 90 minutes and it was to die for. Great head massage and scalp treatment. We had a short upper and lower body massage included. Will be back for sure.

My Mom treated me to a spa experience here for my birthday. It was the MOST wonderful and relaxing experience. Reginas (Lijuan) full body massage was top tier, seriously I havent a better one. She was also very kind and gracious, exactly the kind of energy youd want to be in for this occasion. She explained things in-depth for my facial and lashes. Im going again and highly recommend. Also, Sheila gave my Mom a facial that she raved about and shared her expertise with both of us. These ladies are a fabulous team with skills and great energy!

I did the anti-aging scalp therapy and it was amaaaaazing. Sheila was my therapist and was super knowledgeable of what my scalp needed - especially after just having a baby! The treatment was pure bliss and relaxation. She examined and showed my scalp with a microscope before and after the treatment and what a dramatic difference it made - my scalp looked clear, hydrated and healthy. I am happy i found this place through spafinder. Such a hidden gem. I will definitely be back for more scalp treatments - and will try the massage and facials too. All the therapists are experienced and come with a ton of knowledge - its worth signing up for a membership!

This was my first time experiencing a head spa.I received a hydrotherapy scalp treatment combined with the anti-aging scalp therapy and a facial with Coco. I felt so amazing and relaxed after both treatments and therapy. I felt all the tension and stress leave my body. Coco met all my expectations as a massage therapist. 1st timer here, Sheila was amazing! I had been dying to try the head spa/scalp therapy and Sheila did not disappoint! I chose the 90 min Stress Melt Scalp Treatment. Sheila made sure I was comfortable throughout the session. She was very knowledgeable about the techniques and products she used. Very passionate about her work. My experience here was absolutely incredible. Very soft music playing, a lovely face and scalp massage, employees who recognize the problems with your skin and use products that will help, as well as taking consideration for sensitive skin. At the end you get a warm steamy towel on your face and its just delightful. A lovely experience that I will be enjoying every couple of weeks if I can swing it.

I had the most wonderful experience with Sheila Rose ! She makes you feel very comfortable and has a beautiful healing/loving energy. Which is very rare to find and made the experience a lot more enjoyable. If you are looking for a luxurious head spa treatment, book with her. We have used Forest House Spa for my elderly parents on many occasions. They have done a wonderful job providing great massages while taking into account their age and medical conditions. All massages have been done in the comfort of their own home. The staff have always been nice and professional. Highly recommend

Loved my 120 min scalp massage by CoCo, it’s insane how I felt my scalp was numb before and now it feels so fresh and clean, like I’ve never used product before. It was super relaxing with majority of time on head, some shoulders, some body massage and light stretching. Left there feeling reborn w a squeaky clean scalp.

Book now! Before I get into this review, let me just tell you to book your appointment right now. It is seriously that amazing and my scalp and hair have never felt this good or been this clean.I booked the 90 minute scalp melt session with Lijuan (Regina) and it was so much more than just a scalp treatment. We started with looking at my scalp on the scope/camera and she saw my dry flaky scalp lol we also saw I had clogged pores as well. Once I was laying down she went in with a shoulder massage and face massage and scalp massage!! It felt so good. She put a heat pack on my eyes which was very relaxing and did a shoulder massage throughout the whole process pretty much. She shampooed thoroughly and the head scratches were to die for. She used all kinds of tools on my scalp during the process, gua shua, brush, comb, and I don’t even know what else but it felt great lol she had the dome waterfall going while she massaged and stretched my body which was badly needed for me! She conditioned my hair thoroughly as well while she did a deep brushing to get all my flakes out and unclog my pores. She used a scalp serum and that had this cooling effect which felt great as well! And we finished with a light blow dry and view my scalp in the camera again and you could see an obvious difference. My scalp was extremely clean and didn’t have any flakes, my pores were unclogged, it was a very noticeable difference.Lijuan is so so sweet and needless to say I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. Feeling Loved & cared for.I came back today for a massage & mini facial, & Chinese herb soak for circulation - *Sheila has the most caring hands and fingertips I have ever felt! *Don’t let the signage fool you- this place offers it all. This place is so nice! and Lijun is so professional and friendly! This is basically the very first place I can found to do Head Spa. and for other massage places I went before, there are no service for head spa. and also the staff here even didn’t ask me for tip when I paying, which is really surprising. Because other massage places I went before, tip for 20% is the baseline. But this place doesn’t even ask me for that!

The massage at FH is exceptionally comfortable, and the environment is the cleanest and most sanitary massage facility I have encountered in the Mira Mesa area. The scalp massage is particularly stress-relieving, facilitating easy relaxation and inducing sleep.

For over two years I have been seeing Regina, Ling, and Coco for massages and facials. I’m always impressed with the experience. Always welcomed with a warm smile and “do you need to use the restroom before we get started?” 😝The massages are always adjusted to how I’m feeling. If I want to relax. I receive Lomi Lomi or Swedish. If my body needs help in specific areas. I get deep tissue with some stretching. They are all skilled and attentive to my needs. Asking me if pressure is ok. You know, just taking care of me and that’s why I always leave feeling rejuvenated , relaxed, just overall satisfied and happy.The pricing is reasonable. Had an extremely phenomenal four hands loamy loamy massage with regina and Amber today. Highly recommend people to make at least a weekly. If not every other week appointment for whatever ails you they are extremely knowledgeable about pressure point and energy flow with the body very relaxing felt extremely refreshed after, the massage was finished.

I’m very glad to have found this place: the establishment is new and clean, and the staff is courteous and pleasant.My massage today was with Lilly, she’s friendly and the strokes were on point. My session was 90 minutes and she kept up consistent pressure throughout; with occasional checks on how it was feeling. She definitely wasn’t loafing through just to kill time and the massage was not stopped early.This place uses coconut oil for the massage, which has a subtle natural scent and not artificially overpowering. Like I mentioned in the beginning, this place is new, but the staff are not rookies. This has been a nice find and they will receive my continued business.

A good massage therapist is hard to find, so when I found Regina about a year ago I was blessed. Regina is professional, friendly, a master of her craft and really cares about her clients. I am a 180 pound man who likes to lift weights so my body is always soar and tight. Regina can literally fold me like a pretzel and at times makes me grind my teeth due to the deep pressure she is able to apply, I don’t know how she does it! If you want to walk away from a massage feeling like a new person call Regina!!

I have retained the massage service of Regina multiple times and it seems each time is better than the other. I would say her massage skills is second to none. During all our encounters, Regina has shown herself to be a conscientious and skillful masseuse, and a person of very pleasant nature and disposition. she can perform soft touch like a feather to put you at ease, medium pressure to put your entire body at comfort, or deep tissue using her steel fingers to release your tense. I have tried them all. I have most favorably been impressed by her ability to find the knots in my body and be able to crack them one by one. Accordingly, I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who needs therapy or enjoys regular body maintenance.By the way, she has good strong complimentary coffee and candy at the lobby area. Not sure if her steel fingers are from drinking those strong coffee. Lol

I decided to get a massage at the spa. I had Regina and she was amazing. She was so sweet and kind and listens to all the problem spots I pointed out. I got the signature massage and she tailored and customized it to myProblem points. I’m also used to getting Thai massages and pressure points. The stretching was on point and perfect amount of pressure. She got the knots out. I will be coming back. Next time I might utilize there house call services. Thank you !!!

I’ve been getting massage for over 30 years and this is by far the best experience I have had! I’ve been getting Massage from the owner or one of the owners Regina since approximately two years ago and she is very professional! She will travel to your home or wherever you would like a massage so it’s super convenient and very reasonable prices! She Taylor’s a massage to meet your needs and always goes above and beyond to make sure you feel great! In addition she takes continuing massage classes to learn new techniques which are extremely beneficial. I can’t say enough good things I would highly recommend this business! It’s my best fine in the last couple of years and in fact I have a treatment scheduled for today..
