First if you get a VIP lounge just know you be spending $500 just got apart for the $50 depositSecond make sure to stand your ground because they don’t know how to schedule they will give your VIP section to someone else that comes before youThirdly careful with your money especially your card. I wasn’t able to use my card due to insufficient fund, yet they were able to get $66 from my card & I tried to dispute it. I asked to get proof of receipt with my card but calling & customer service is non existent. They’re thugs & thieves.

I ordered a bottle of Malibu and they asked me for my card to charge, I received a message from my bank saying that they had charged me 244 dollars, and the bottle was supposed to be worth 175 dollars, at the time they had to close the club at 2 in the morning The waitress arrived with my card and the receipt, it did not specify what they had charged and she asked him why they had charged me 244, to which he replied that taxes are paid everywhere. It was a stupid answer, because they are not going to charge me more than 50 dollars in tax for a 175 dollar bottle, this club is a complete rip-off. and the waitress still asking for a tip, thats just robbery and scammers. Take care of your money and dont come to this place.

The style inside is classy, elegant and a step above a lot of the other clubs in Charlotte.The bar is fantastic with only premium quality alcohol and a great cocktail and shots list!The best thing about QC Social Lounge is the music and the atmosphere. A variety of Spanish music from Reggaeton to Merengue. That explains why we were on the dancefloor most of the night.The place is awesome and we are looking forward to returning!

This place is really cool, service is upstanding, cool djs, dancers nice sound and lightning. The patio is a nice place to start early, food, drinks, friends. Totally recommended

There’s a bar in the back - this bartender refused to give me my change when i paid in cash for one drink to the point where I had to get the bouncer involved.i was waiting for my change and he straight up said no and then we went back and forth and then waved his hand in my face and said I could wait. Then i went to get security.I had already tipped 10 in cash on an earlier order for two (basic) drinks.I probably would’ve just left the 4 dollars if i received it in a normal way but that whole interaction was abysmal.Sooo unprofessional.if you are buying drinks, especially from the bar in the back and it’s a male bartender with 2007 hairstyle - look at your receipt and make sure it’s itemized as well.Atmosphere is ok - they should make an upgrade to their sound system.

Music is great, i like the atmosphere but there is a rude @$$ bartender! He ignored me and rolled his eyes at me every time I would go buy drinks, sorry that they don’t pay him enough to at least carry a fake smile on his “cara de tubo” face!

It was my birthday, went there to see Paul Okenfold.. he was M.I.A... I heard he was tripping too hard somewhere and couldnt show up 🤔🤣 youd think hed be a pro at that stuff by now? Idk, maybe someone said, Here smoke this joint, but it was actually a Jeffrey?? 🤣🤣🤣 it was still fun and awesome though! The crowd was great, really cool and fun people and the music was really good like the last 1.5hrs before closing at 2am. I had an amazing time and met some really cool new people, so it was a great Birthday! 👍🏻😄 The last DJ that filled in for Okenfold was, @TheDexterMusic and its obvious why they called him last minute to fill in for Okenfold, he killed it!

This place is so cute! Very nicely decorated. So pretty with VIP sections, chandeliers theres even an upstairs area. Drinks were good. Great place for a date or girls night out.

This location has always been one of my favorite venues, going way back to when it was Mythos. Excellent space for an intimate bit not cramped show where you can see the DJ performing and enjoy it with your closest friends, but not the whole city. The decor is a major upgrade from the last time I was in this space,and the layout works well for moving around. Definitely paying attention to more shows that come through here!

Yeah. Stopped in with a buddy for literally 1 beer. One. Beer. They took my card and inexplicably I left without snagging my card. They are now closed the rest of the week and do not respond to calls/messages/etc. No worries, I froze my card and got a replacement shipped out to me (quicker than waiting 5 days for them to reopen) and no need to leave a review.. UNTIL I received emails indicating that they are attempting to charge hundreds of dollars on my card, hence the bad review.

I came Thursday night yesterday me and a friend I was treated so bad over charge drinks racial discrimination it was so bad I calledy lawyer Mr Lawrence this morning to open a case here this is the most racist horrible bar Im Spanish and black the black part of me was treated sooo bad I still cant believe they charged me 26$ for a shot of house vodka 10$ for a beer I have to make this public

This place is my absolute go-to since they’ve made their presence in (uptown) Charlotte. Dance floor is always BUMPING- and the ambience in general is chic and fun and classy but a little bit nasty in the best of ways! Their dress code is sometimes strict and it’s definitely a nice place but SO so much fun!Additionally, their staff members have shown themselves to handle business appropriately, professionally and admirably. A guy named Sam who responded to an incident I had here that left a bad taste in my mouth, along with a young lady by the name of Adeline who is ALWAYS sweet and welcoming when I come in are top-notch hospitality providers. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting or anyone looking to have a night out and delve into Charlotte‘s nightlife. A hidden gem forged in an urban oasis.

They have 0 type of capacity. Good music later in the night but be ready to be packed in shoulder to shoulder by 10:30-11pm Can’t dance bc of over capacity. If there is a special event even worse. Be ready to be packed in like sardines/ wait long for a drink or, consider VIP section. 2 star bc music gradually gets better through the night but space is important to me.

A mix of New York meets DC on Miami ;)The ambiance is second go none in Charlotte. Shout out to the majest owl painting at the entrance. You may be required to register but thats ok! Its def worth it.The crowd was eclectic and diverse for opening night. All were sharply dressed which elevated the dancehall..#avecClasse9.5/10

This place is horrible. I ordered a vodka soda and it was 7.00. I go back to the bar about 15-20 minutes later and order 3 of the same drink and end up being charged 80 dollars for it. I tell the bartender that they should be around 7 each and he says they were out of the other vodka so they just used premium vodka. I told him that he should have told me about this beforehand because that is not what i orderer nor is it what i wanted, he became extremely disrespectful and said “I just gave you what you ordered” when I replied that I did not ask for your premium liquour he just walked away. Do not go here unless you want to be scammed by bartenders that just randomly charge you for premium liquor even if that is not what you orderer. The bar wasn’t even fun. Avoid this horrible bar at all costs.

My friends and I went for a birthday celebration, all was going well until a security guard thought it was cool to start problems just because he got turned down by one of the girls in our group. He immediately told everyone in our group to get out and without reason manhandled us with another of his buddies to escort us out. The other security guards were apologetic and seemed confused as to why this man and his friend were so hateful. Even so I would not recommend any female to go here if these two men are working. We felt very unsafe.

Pretty good club. Great sound system. Just dont drink to much. Even a little tipsy will get you kicked

QC has a very high men to women ratio. There is always more men than women and all they do is stand around. It is not a lit club, QC does so much marketing saying that they are always packed and that is never true. La Unica and Bocao are way better than QC. Also, The security guards are horrible at their jobs, they are super aggressive. Since everybody just stands around and the music isnt good, if you dance or have fun. You will stick out, drinks are mediocre with high prices and you pay to get in to a bad club.

Served us 2 drinks that were rung up “top shelf” when they were not, I did not ask for that and charged us $40 for 2 drinks. Then they wouldn’t even give us a water for free, which I’m pretty sure is illegal. Won’t be back.

I cant complain. It was alright wasnt anything too crazy but also was not trash at all. Maybe I just need to learn some Spanish 🫡🫡

Wonderful atmosphere, awesome decor, and an awesome energy can be found here. Staff is friendly and bartenders know their stuff!A lack of trash / dish receptacles made it extremely dirty rather quickly. About 1hr into the event we were there for, trash and broken glass was prominent. The bathrooms were unmaintained throughout the evening. If you go here for an event with lots of people, make sure you watch your step and bring some napkins to dry off after using the restroom.Overall, great place with areas of improvement that are easily fixable / probably not frequent!

Had such an amazing time! The club is simply gorgeous, elegant details perfectly placed around the lounge made me feel like I was on vacation. The classy aesthetic was a nice change of pace from other places I have gone in Charlotte. The staff was courteous and handled the volume of people efficiently. I was super impressed at how well they did seeing as we just came out of shutdown and it is a new club with all new computer systems. My drinks were affordable and the music was great! Cosmic Gate was such a great show, thank you for booking such great talent!

Spent New Years here. Great facility and layout. TERRIBLE staff, management, and security team. I am disgusted on how they treat patrons. My experience from the cashier, security, and bartenders was the worse I have EVER experienced. I recommend not to spend your hard earned money here. The staff is disgusting, greedy, and look down upon there patrons as if we should feel privileged to be there. In reality they should be thankful that people chose to come to their establishment instead of the many others in the area. I expect this treatment from a Caucasian run establishment but not from my Hispanic and black people. They are full of pride and greed.Pros: layout, vibe, music.Cons: disrespectful, hostile ( I saw 3 different people get kicked out aggressively for minor situations). Condescending and incompetent.I truly hope they change promotion team and find a team that can provide excellent customer service to their patrons. I Will NEVER return to this establishment. I am disgusted.it will go through another turnover in the near future. Guarantee.

Had a great time with some co-workers. It was pretty easy to get a drink even though the place had a ton of people. Unfortunately you had to pay for water. Otherwise the DJ was great and the VIP areas were always attended to

Went during the bar crawl...Asked the bartender for a mixed drink and water with no ice. She said all they have is bottled water...I asked again for water from the soda gun system that all bars have and she said that it doesnt work...pretty sure legally, they are to provide customers with drinkable water and not just the bottle....And the only bottled water they had was Fiji water. I told her never mind to the mixed drink and got the water that was $10...

Place is nice and has good potential. The bar service at our table was great. Prices are high for Charlotte but not bad for those used to NY or other bigger capitals. My biggest complaint is that the sound system on the night we visited was malfunctioning (which is very basic problem for this type of club) so the headliner DJ Cut Snake was not able to do a good job (at one point the whole dancefloor stopped). It makes it hard to trust to go see other names there for a steeper price and experience similar problems

Amazing atmosphere and vibe from the time you walk in the door. The set up is very classy and the drinks were reasonably priced. Tip your bartender well and she will treat you as such! There was also a live saxaphone player there that played amazingly! I went by my self the first time I visited to scope the place out. I can’t wait to come back with some friends and have an even more amazing time!

This is a nice spanish place! The only thing is that the dj does not transition in between the types of music very good. They would be playing a salsa and then go to edm. Really messes up the mood lol. They also repeated many songs

I visited this location on Saturday, to have a good time and enjoy the good music.. instead the security and the ladies working after the security were very rude and disrespectful, I enjoyed the place itself but the staff was unprofessional and it’s not them “doing their job” because I felt discriminated right away. I felt uncomfortable and they did not try to find a solution to the problem what so ever. This place needs to work on managing their business better and to have logical reasons for why they treat their customers a certain way. I would love to come visit again but with different staff or different regulations.

I recently had the pleasure of bringing in my birthday party here 6/5. 1st time I have every been here. I will have to say I was highly impressed. The service was top notch. I felt safe and the music was so much fun. Thank you very much for making my evening feel special.

I enjoyed the ambience, the outdoor area, and the nice staff. What I did not enjoy were the overpriced drinks and the silly layout of the main dance floor. When you pay $14 for an old fashioned, you hope to taste more than sugar. Reasonable for some, ridiculous for me. Its a simple drink. The main floor to dance by the stage setup is relatively small to begin with... And theres a VIP section smack in the middle of it. This is fine if you want a loveseat as your dance partner. Its also fine if youre one of those who cares more about being seen than enjoying yourself. All in all, not a horrible experience. Just not my favorite. We had no issues with the line to get in like some others did..

My boyfriend and I usually start the night off here when going out. Its a really chill place. I recently moved here and noticed this place is different than the other places in Charlotte. It gives off a sort of New Yorkish vibe. Drinks are pretty good too. But my favorite thing about this place is the fact that they have different music everyday theyre open, so it doesnt get old like most other places. The bartenders are super chill and the drinks are good. Highly recommend on a night out!

We were originally going to go to Imperial but decided to check this place out instead. Pretty decent vibe and the drinks were good. Crowd was a tad young for me but I’m sure that changes based on night/time. This place felt upscale and exclusive but also cozy and chill which is hard to pull off.I’m unsure of dress code but I saw flip flops and jeans. I’d love to see them stay this lax in dress code because I’m one of those girls that rocks my jeans and heels rather than that slinky dress.I also liked where this place was located. There were several little spots along this strip that you could slip into if you were bored at one place. And drinks were on the higher end of Uptown prices but that’s starting to become standard in Charlotte. I’d go again.

Predatory business with little regard for customers wellbeing or safety. Failed to ID half of entrants, yet claim to follow State Regulations. Have no safe path of egress to exit. My friend was severely injured and staff refused to allow them to exit through the main entrance and forced us to exit through crowd of 100 people at the back of the venue with zero signage to indicate. Cant imagine if there was a fire or other emergency. Without a doubt, the most unethical business I have ever visited. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I hope that city officials shut them down immediately.

It’s a nice place. But they would need to real take care that if you’re in VIP area you supposed to have not only a different entrance (stairs) but also don’t make you wait in line for too long.

I came to Charlotte to visit some friends and we decided to try out a new spot in town called QC Social Lounge. We ended up getting a VIP table and a couple of bottles. Our server Nicole was phenomenal. She always made sure our we had a fresh drink in our hand. She went above and beyond to give us such an amazing experience! We will definitely be back to visit her! In addition - the DJ was really good and the art and atmosphere was very nice! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

SUPEERRR GREATTTTT ENERGY IS ALWAYS LISASS

The Manager/Management should make the extra effort to pay attention to their VIP Customers. Being carded at the door, it would have been obvious we are from out of state, and are not well versed on policy and procedures for the VIP Tables. Our group was fold to leave after a discrepancy on opening procedure of alcohol. Well dressed, educated, discretionary income patrons, should not be treated as thugs. The Manager felt it necessary to assert himself, treat us disrespectfully, engaging us in a manner of authority by having a security person and local police escort us out. Truly overkill. The security person put his hands on me, when there was no confrontation of any part by me. To enforce a state policy, procedure, or law, make sure out of state patrons are clear on what they are. Definitely the most unprofessional Manager I have ever encountered in a club. Highly recommend termination.

Awesome, fun place…the only sad part is that it closes so early at 2 am. Still highly recommend if you’re looking for 100% percent Latin flavor!

I don’t usually write reviews but this is ridiculous. I am taller than the background of my ID picture so I got denied entry. I can deal with that, but they literally broke my ID and told me that if it was real it would have held up. I now have to buy a new ID because it’s unusable. Bouncers literally laughed at me as I left. Obviously won’t go back, recommend you do the same

Poorly operated establishment. Visited this past weekend with the largest table in the space (25 people). We had one person for bottle service. It took 40 minutes to get a drink in my hand, minimal drinks all night because the service was so horribly slow, everyone was sweating, the HVAC is in short supply. I would not recommend to anyone if youre looking to have a good (stress free) time.

QC Social is a really nice spot. I dont think lounge is an accurate description since theres nowhere to really lounge unless you buy a VIP section - its set up like a club. This was my second time going and I had a good time, even though I didnt really dance. The music was very good but didnt really lend itself to dancing.As with all club environments, this place gets really busy and the restrooms ran out of tissue and paper towels pretty quickly both times I visited. It would be nice if staff were dedicated to rectify this problem.

This place is weird. The website sucks and they hardly do any shows. Saw one show there, looks like itll be the last. Wonder how they stay in biz operating in the shadows. No shows at all on the calendar. Odd.

Great venue for EDM. Recent sound system improvements are top of the line, incredible sound and booming bass.Could use improvements on lighting effects for shows, but the atmosphere and sound quality more than make up for it.

Arrived at around 11pm. the line was a decent size but not huge by any means. did not enter the club until after midnight, missing part of the set of the DJ I paid money to see. the excuses as to the long wait were ridiculous and there were long stretches where absolutely no one was going inside and when people did go in, they were only allowed to let 5 in at a time due to their own policy. will definitely not be back.

NO FREE WATER. After ordering drinks they say they don’t have water other than their $6 small VOSS bottle of water.

Here for the Jazz and Soul: Brave concert. Its 6:30 p.m. and we are sitting outside waiting to get in because they are NOT READY. This event was scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. Sooooo, unprofessional and unorganized. The performers just walked to get changed. We heard half of the set waiting outside. Really wish I could get my money back. Heres my tip tonight, START ON TIME.

I feel like the name may have changed but not finding much online that makes it clear, maybe CLT Live?. I used to frequent this club back when it was The Forum, 2007 timeframe. I was one of the oldest there last night for sure. The style has changed but the DJs put on a great set and I really enjoyed the music last night. I was hoping to post their names because they are the reason I enjoyed the night so much. Anyway, the venue was nice looking. VIP tables are placed all over the place which means beautiful people were every few meters. Not that VIP is directly correlated to beauty, but it does seem to attract certain types. The drinks were on the more expensive side for Charlotte I think, but I didnt get out to enough places on this trip to properly evaluate. Bottom line, as long as they bring in DJs like last night, Id be willing to return, the music is whats most important to me. Was the first time in over a year for me to venture out like this so it marked a positive first night back. On that note, they did check temperatures to go in and required masks, but once inside, it was a free for all as everyone had a drink in hand. So just be safe.

Very scarey place on new years eve with lots of sketchy stuff going on between one staff member and customers. Probably would feel safer here if I was with a man but I wont return here with my group of girl friends.

Waited over 20 minutes at the bar to get a drink. So naturally raised my voice to get served and I got escorted out of the building. Sounds like wonderful customer service to me, don’t you think? Will never be going back.

Bartenders were terrible all around

Very disappointed in the Audien show experience. The sound was truly awful. It was muffled base. The lighting was a bit dark and not vibrant as other EDM shows I have attended. I was so excited for this show. I can see QC as a nice venue for other events, but not an EDM show. At least I know to stay with World and The Fillmore for EDM shows in the future.

For a place that brings such great DJs it’s a real shame that their sound system/ acoustic treatment is so poor. The bass drowns out all the mids. Balance is more important than bass. Because of this QC Social Lounge is a last resort for music. If this issue were fixed I would be there regularly.

My First Experience At QC Social Lounge Was Way Beyond My Expectations. I Wasnt Expecting Anything More Then What I Get When I Visit A New Different Spot. Not Only Was The Music🎶 Sensational, But The Hospitality Was Outstanding. Thank U QC Lounge, 5+ Stars In My Book👍🏽

Shoutout to Sloan and the whole staff at QC Social for outstanding services. Sloan knows how to make some tasty drinks along with a good laugh. I love the decor and style of the venue. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to enjoy some food, drinks and a hookah. You won’t be disappointed.

Dear Queen City social, if you have a dress code policy adhere to that policy for every race, background, and gender. My very first & completely last experience. What a disgrace it was to bring friends from out of town only to be turned away for sneakers. I’m so glad our white counterparts were able to somewhat enjoy themselves without us not being able to get in with them. Oh yes! for any public person reading this they too had on sneakers. How ironic! If you are of any color I would advise you to simply not bring your Dollar to this establishment. They could care less anyways (words from the bouncer or the “important guy” at the door). He also told me to write a review as if he could care less. What a joke! This behavior should not be tolerated. Hopefully, you, the reader, will have a second option to spend their evening!

Went there to see Anthony David perform. The venue is great and provides an up-close concert experience with an intimate vibe. Literally felt like he was performing for just us.

Bought tickets days in advance, and the line was really long when we arrived. They were at capacity and giving refunds... How are you at capacity if there’s still 50 people outside with tickets?? Fire hazard, irresponsible, and making us all wait in line for 45 minutes for our refunds? Get your act together. What a joke.

One of the best rooftop bars in Uptown. With salsa nights on Thursday & events are always bringing in new and interesting people. If youve never been, try it. But be sure to take the train so you dont have to worry about paying to park at 7th St.

It was an ok night scene..it was supposed to be hip hop night when we went and the dj played mostly EDM which was annoying. I didnt come out to fist pump all night. The bottle service girl was also rude and there was an error in our reservation, but it got corrected. Not a terrible night out but not the best either.

I LOVE this place. I went last weekend for Dom Dolla and I think they updated their sound system because it sounded even better than the last few times I went. The sound was very pleasant and enjoyable. Good place to be at on the weekends and even on weekdays!

I can not support them anymore.Guys, the rovercoaster of management of this venue is ridiculous.Check out the basement, broken promises, blackbox theater for edm. Mission or Tiqulia house for Latin night.Do better.------After experiencing the club scene in Charlotte for the last 5 years my eyes are open I have to say QC social is one of the best spots in Uptown for a club experience hands down.The amount of quality artist they booked over the last year has been outstanding.I honestly cannot stand Oak room or Tiqulia House anymore because the sound that QC brings in has ruined me for the better.The bartenders are exceptional, and will mix anything you want. Staff, super chill and supportive. Never had a bad experience.If youre looking for a place to dance with a community who appreciate music this is your place.

They let a guy with ripped jeans on in. I come in with a Peater Millar shirt, true religion jeans on and Jonathon and Murphy dress boots and get denied. My outfit was more expensive than the door guys cheap suit and he singled me out.I bought a table and spent over 1,000$ 2 weeks ago. If you treat people who actually spend money like this at your establishment you will be like the previous bar that went out of business.Deny us upfront before wasting 40 min of our time waiting in line at the end. Several times through the years different people who tried to make this place work and failed. Now! You walk through the doors its immediately engaging with the raised lounges and artwork the staff was phenomenal and then I found myself on the lounge outside taking it all in, cant wait to go back

Tim and his crew truly make you feel welcomed at this beautiful establishment. The rich, elegant aesthetic nature of this venue brings out only the best of those that care to join the experience.

Really dirty business practices going on here. DO NOT BUY A TABLE. They will take full advantage of you. Over poured every drink 90% alcohol and 10% juice just to empty the bottle. Making drinks for people who still had a full drink. Giving random people drinks from our table. Poor ethics.

Ordered shots of tequila here and was served warm water. Didn’t even need a chaser that is how watered down this “shot” was. Someone is filling their liquor bottles with water.

Great music venue. Its in the alley next to Fuel Pizza in 7th Street Station, dont try to enter from N. College, you cant. Drink prices are reasonable

Big name EDM artists roll through here yet the club lacks the proper sound and lighting system. If youre going to host EDM artists then youre gonna need some lasers. Come on.

Charged us for other people’s drinks we didn’t order will be disputing the full tab with your company! Absolutely a scam! Sicked the guards on us when we asked about other people’s drinks on our tab! Unprofessional and rude they will be hearing from my bank or lawyer their choice!

Worst experience ever. Went to the WC. Drank some water, stood against the wall and than got put out. Literally not bothering anyone, over zealous security.

One star. And if I could give zero I would. They will kick you out if you have more than one drink. The security guards are terrible and will kick you out immediately if they don’t like you. Do not go here, so many better places in Charlotte.

Nice atmosphere and interior. Failed to communicate to VIP table buyers that Friday night is EDM music only. Failed to offer adequate options to dissatisfied VIP table customers.

The atmosphere and dance floor is really fun, but if you want to wait 30+ minutes for a drink and get constantly passed over in the drink queue, then this place is really for you.

Ready enjoy myself and although Im aware that drinks will cost more when you are enjoying yourself and the music. however a beer (Stella Artois) and a Cosmo Martini costing $24.00 is ridiculous.

Good venue and layout; extremely unprofessional staff and A&R / booking reps. I dont foresee this place lasting very long under current management.

What a joke for a concert venue. Absolutely awful speakers, zero lighting, and no A/C. This place is not worth it for a performer.

It was Forum, then it was Phoenix, and now Im old and its QC Social Lounge. This place won when I came and they have free water.Though the sound system and acoustics are terrible. Its just a mess if you step away from the stage.

Very crowded on a Saturday night. Can barely move and drinks are expensive. There are better smaller venues where there is no cover.

This place oversold tickets to a show starting at 10. Got there at 11. Couldnt get in until well after midnight. Worst crowd management Ive ever seen.
