Love this place! I had the MOST relaxing 50 minute massage at Mellow Downtown that left me feeling restored and rejuvenated.I love that they stay open late and were available to see me on a Friday after my super busy week, could not have picked a better spot to help relieve some of the weekday stress!My massage professional was Omar, he was so skilled and polite! Omar made sure to ask me if there was anything I wanted him to focus on before our session, and he took extra care working out my neck exactly like I had asked. Thank you Omar!They have a really great membership program that I of course signed up for, bringing down the cost of my monthly massage each time I book. I am already so looking forward for my massage next month, and will definitely be booking it with Omar!

Had an excellent 80 min massage with Omar today. The location is calm and booking was very easy. They even offered a great membership option which saved me money on my service. Omar was really great. It may have been the best therapeutic massage Ive ever had (and Ive had a lot). I left feeling like a new person and my upper back, shoulders, and neck are finally feeling more relaxed after months of tension. I highly recommend!

Went here Sunday for a couples massage for my anniversary. Picked this place because of the good reviews. My husband was getting a deep tissue & they didn’t have another therapist to do the deep tissue for me so they told me to get a restorative massage, that it’s a combo of Swedish & deep tissue so i agreed. My husband & i both work out a lot so we have a lot of work to be done on our backs especially which is why we picked deep tissues. Both therapists asked us individually what area we wanted them to focus on we both said our backs/knots in shoulder blades. They both spent ZERO time doing that. They were super gentle and did nothing like deep tissue or Swedish massage. I don’t need you to rub my hands/feet for 10 minutes i need you to get these knots out. We spent over $200 for the worst experience ever we were not happy but we didn’t complain to them & still tipped. Wouldn’t come back here though. Waste of money. Jorge & Lana did our massages.

Great location in PB WITH parking! Right when you walk through the door, the space immediately invokes a sense of calm. Garrett, my masseuse, was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and really listened to what my body needed.

Had a great massage with Omar this weekend, he was extremely friendly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Pressure was perfect and he was sure to check in periodically. Can’t wait to book again!

I had my first visit at Mellow Massage downtown and the experience was incredible! Josh was my technician and he was amazing. The location was very comfortable and relaxing, and Josh is clearly a professional and knows what he’s doing! I was in town for a conference and wanted a massage to celebrate my birthday. My original appointment was no bed to a time that was not convenient. I then had my original time recovered but on the day of my massage was moved again. The manager and the masseuse went out of their way to resolve the issue. Once there my masseuse was very attentive and listened to my areas of concern. I left feeling relaxed and peaceful. I will be sure to return the next time I am in San Diego.

I highly recommend Mellow Massage Dowtown. Very clean and moody/mellow aesthetic inside. I got a 50 minute prenatal massage (at ~36 weeks) from Joshua and it was exactly what I needed. He was very friendly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout - the massage had Excellent pressure and great support for the bump. I will definitely be going back postpartum for some deep tissue services !

I had an amazing massage with cupping from Joshua. I’m disappointed I live across the country and can’t become a regular client of his! The pressure was great and he was receptive to what I wanted.The two therapists who greeted me were very welcoming as well, and the facility was clean and comfortable.

Joshua is a multi talented massage therapist. He is able to recognize what muscles of your body need attention and his technique of myofascial release is spot on. Your mind and body will be fully relaxed and released at the end if your 80 minute sessiom.

Joshua is literally the BEST massage therapist I’ve ever worked with. I’ve been getting massages for years and this is the first time ever where I’ve felt heard and understood as a client. He is so good at what he does! Joshua manages the mellow massage in downtown and although I hate driving there, I go there specifically for him! He’s become a friend!

Elijah was amazing. He focused on the areas I specified, he was very accommodating to my needs and expectations. I really loved how he made the tougher spots easier to handle than it usually would. He went in with ease but worked out all the right areas with perfect pressure. He also did a very good job making sure I was as relaxed and comfortable as possible. 50 minutes is definitely not long enough, so if you’re going to book , book 80 minutes and you absolutely should book with Elijah.

The best massage of my life! I came in for the 80 minute prenatal massage. They provided the maternity bolsters to provide a comfortable experience. The massage was very intentional and I could feel the release of tension in my muscles. Joshua was a great masseuse and was very knowledgeable. I can’t wait to be back in for my next massage.

I went in to Mellow after starting to work out after more than a year. I was that kind of sore where it’s hard to move, and was able to make an appointment same-day with Elijah. I told him general areas that needed attention, but his hands found the exact spots that needed work like magnets. I ended up signing up for a monthly membership I was so happy with the experience. Can’t wait for next appointment!

Book Enrique! His muscle tension release massage on my neck was the best I’ve ever had. Super impressed with how he knew where to massage and find the trigger points. If I lived here I would be seeing him regularly! Highly recommend.

My husband and I went in for a couples deep tissue 80 minute massage and both of our masseuses were great! Very attentive to our areas of concern and great about checking in with both of us throughout the massage. Unfortunately we don’t live closer otherwise we’d absolutely be coming back regularly!

I regularly getting massages and looking for my perfect massage therapist and I finally found him. I love how contemporary and clean is this place also love the dime lights. Joshua combined lymphatic drainage and regular massage it felt really good! I will be a regular there. Also saw the couples massage room I will try it next.

My experience at Mellow Massage with Joshua was great! The 50-minute Massage + Hot Stones was just what I needed, Joshua listened to my concerns following a bad experience at another massage place and made me feel comfortable, and was mindful of my sensitivities without being too gentle. He was very observant and throughout having me hold hot stones because my hands were cold. I was very relaxed during and felt restored after the massage. I will definitely be returning!

I’ve had two massages with Tara and signed up for the monthly membership after my first one. She is absolutely incredible and one of the best massage therapists I have ever experienced. I always feel so refreshed afterwards and she is so knowledgeable. All of the staff are really nice and the environment is clean and relaxing.

I made an appointment at the new downtown location after a week of having a headache with lots of tension in my upper back, and neck. Ive had countless massages over the years. I like a lot a pressure, and a therapeutic approach versus a relaxing, fluffy massage. My appointment was with Joshua, and I told him what I wanted, and he delivered! One of the best massages Ive had in years. Living downtown the location is very convenient for me so Ill definitely be back!

I recently purchased the monthly membership and I had my first appointment today. Firstly the membership are exceptional. Perfect pricing for a massage and the 3 free add ons really make it a sensible subscription. My first experience at the Hollywood location was me receiving a “restorative” massage with Chloe. Chloe is good and I mean it. Her hands work wonders. She has an amazing technique about her. It’s effective yet relaxing. I did not want to leave. My body was so relaxed I could barely get up when my session was over. I recommend this place and Chloe to anyone whose body needs some TLC. I will be back next month!

I am a very happy repeat customer with mellow massage! Every time I visit the location is clean, the massage therapists are kind and courteous. They seem to really care about your health and well being and specific needs of your body. The therapists I have seen so far all have several years of experience. They will fine tune and adjust their massage practice to meet your needs! If you are looking for a massage I highly recommend this establishment.

First time booking a massage with Mellow and with Jason as my masseuse.. he really helped me to understand my sciatic problem and focused on the area most of my session.. then ended with working on my shoulders and neck., extremely professional and gave me so tips on stretches and kinetic exercises to help. Massage was so relaxing that I may have fallen asleep a few times 😅. Before my session, Celeste asked questions to get a better idea on how to approach the Massage, and clearly were considered throughout. The facilities were very clean, and the overall ambiance was relaxing. Not much, if any outside noise to disrupt the session, however I did go in the evening. Overall, I can easily recommend Mellow massage to friends and family, and would definitely recommend Celeste!

Yoshua saved me! Could not move my head due to increased muscle tightness in my neck and upper back. He triggered all the points and with CBD oil successfully relaxed my muscles. I could work my night shift felling so relieved. One of the best massage I have ever had. I can tell he loved his job and does it very well! Highly recommended!

I am so glad to discover this massage establishment newly opened in the San Diego downtown area (across from the Ralphs). Very convenient, walkable distance to my office. They offer a wide range of massage treatments: deep tissue, cupping, hot stone, etc. Ive now been 4 times and I am getting relief from neck, shoulder and back pain due to past car accidents as well as prolonged hours doing desk work. Joshua is one of the amazing therapists. He is able to identify the muscle groups that are the source of the issues and provide real therapeutic results.

First time getting a deep tissue massage and it was so worth it! Michael really paid attention to the knots in my back and I could feel them breaking up. The atmosphere is calming as well, so it’s a perfect place to come to relax and heal. I’ll definitely be back.

I happened upon Josh by happenstance when the therapist I’d seen in PB left and I wanted to try the downtown location - I am SO glad I did.I have a lot of neck pain, and constantly stressed shoulders and Josh seriously melts the pain away. He really gets in there and makes you breathe and just ahhhh. The best.

I’ve been coming to Mellow in Hollywood monthly since April and I am very pleased. I had trouble finding spots that provide Swedish massage. My regular therapist is great and has been helping me with recovery from pretty intense workouts. The staff are also all very cool. And perhaps best of all, there are a few free parking spots in the little lot behind the building.

The massages here are good but I didn’t like how it’s organized. The fact that they force you to rebook right away after a massage if you have a membership is not ideal.I told them I need to review my schedule before rebooking, they said to call to change it if anything. Tried calling several times to change it and they wouldn’t answer.The therapist I had here was requesting tips after the massage, I was going to tip anyways but it’s a little bit uncomfortable when the therapist is requesting it. Tipping should be an optional thing for the clientTo finally the cancel the membership they had me go in a circle of calling and emailing.

Wonderful spot for a massage! Definitely recommend Jacqueline or Colby for a great deep tissue massage! I’m sure there are other wonderful masseuses there but have only had personal experience with these two! Kelley at the front desk is also great and knowledgeable on who to recommend for you based on what you are looking for! Great atmosphere and wonderful vibe!

The environment is relaxing and welcoming, the staff is extremely friendly and the massage therapists are top notch. I’ve been a massage therapist for 20 some years and I can never find anyone that’s as good as me. If you are looking for someone that does good body work this is the place!

Had my first session with Chloe, and she did an excellent job. I went with the 80 minute Swedish massage and she really opened up my back and shoulders which were super tight. Will be coming back, check them out you won’t be disappointed.

I have been going to Mellow Massage for several months and they are really doing a great job especially Markus who has been my go to Masseuse. I go monthly per my credit belonging to the membership that turns 50 to 80 min per session. I have added add ins like hot stones and thats usually a special service I need. Highly recommend!

Mellow Massage is excellent. Cesar has been great in balancing traditional massage and stretching to help me recover from my workouts. He has also been helpful in calling out stretches to focus on after cycling to improve recovery between massages. As the name suggests, the mood is mellow from the moment you enter aiding in relaxing and resetting from whatever has been going on that day.

Had such a great lymphatic massage by Joshua! I noticed immediate results like less bloating! I signed up for a monthly membership right after! I would try to get there 10-15 mins in advance to look for parking since there is no parking lot.

Came in with really bad neck pain from an old injury. Had my first session with Dustin. I couldn’t believe how much better I felt after. So much of the pain was gone and I didn’t think about it the rest of the day. It had been a good while since that was the case for me. Every day my neck would seize up if I sat too long or looked in one direction for a bit. The relief was amazing. I am already booked for next month. The rest of the staff was helpful, the rooms were clean and quiet. When you walk in, the world is literally left outside the door. I’m so glad I found this place!

Jacqueline (Jackie) was amazing. Maybe the best massage I’ve ever had. She pays attention to what you want and adjusts anything you need. Very accommodating and excellent technique. Highly recommend.

I have been to Mellow 4 times now and each experience has been wonderful. Kyna has always taken such great care of me. I also had the pleasure of having a massage by Garret yesterday and it was amazing. I literally could not think after (it’s a miracle I got home lol). All this to say, you are safe with whoever you book here. But Kyna and Garret are my personal favs.

The location is unassuming in a small strip mall in PB, but you would never guess what is inside the door from the outside. Interior decore was minimalist, elegant, and relaxing. Customer service was great, and the massage was excellent! I will most definitely be coming back.

I love a strong deep tissue massage. It’s important for me to have a therapist who know the muscles as I spend a lot of time at the gym! I’ve had a few therapists but my favorites are Jisel & Dev! Also the place is so sleek and clean with good vibes.

I have a neck injury from rafting and my neck has been so tight and sore! Omar gave me a great massage and it’s loosening up a bit! It will take some time, to be back to my usual self, but I’ll continue to get massages from him! He was strong and firm, yet so gentle!!
