Don’t accidentally leave any valuables at this location because they will be GONE.Thought my masseuse Helen would have cleaned the room and brought my gold chain to the front desk after my session on 4/4/24, but that was naive of me to think. My chain given to be by my mother is now gone and will probably never be returned. Gone are the times where you could leave valuables behind and expect to get them back. All I have to now is a sour taste in my mouth and a pathetic apology.I am also quite puzzled at the response of the front desk worker, who when I called when I found out I left my chain behind told me to just come back the next day? Yeah, let’s have more time be wasted and more chances for my chain to be taken. I then arrived there since I am not far away and was prevented from going to the back area and look for my belongings! The manager, Monica later admitted to me that there was no reason that I should have been prevented from going back there after all clients massages were finished ( I showed up around closing time). So the front desk worker lied to me.Not to mention that there was a random guy in pajamas sitting behind the counter with the front desk worker that did not seem to be associated with massage envy. The Manager Monica told me that he was there to book an appointment which was obviously yet another lie.Absolutely zero customer service skills. She also tried to lie to me and say that “I demanded the worker to interrupt the massage going on” making me feel and look like the bad guy when I never did that. I expressed my frustration at this accusation stating that I never said that to which she responded that she would not be talking to me when I am berating her and making her feel uncomfortable. What a joke. I was then hung up on.Can’t believe the unprofessional nature of both the front desk worker Chrissa, the masseuse Helen, and most of all the manager Monica. How I was treated and lied to was absolutely appalling.I will be promptly canceling my membership with them and suggest no one starts a contract with this horrible location.As a cherry on top I wasn’t even offered a free massage or anything for what I have been through.
If youre looking for an esthetician through Massage Envy, you MUST go to Victoria. Ive gone to a number of Massage Envy locations across the Bay for facials/back facials, and she provides the best service Ive seen.Victoria is kind, friendly, and super knowledgable. She actually takes the time to hear about your skin concerns, and provides advice and support without pressure to purchase. Ive seen a drastic improvement in my skin since booking time with her regularly - it is worth every cent. Victoria is a gem - you will not regret booking with her!
I have been a Massage Envy member for almost 2 years and things were good until I decided to cancel the membership.So when I decided to cancel my membership, I had a few hours remaining on my account and accordingly decided to book a few services to settle my account.When I booked my last service for 60 minutes, I had 30 minutes on my account and I explicitly checked with the front desk lady sitting there if my remaining 30 minutes would be adjusted in this service since I wont be available to use those minutes anymore after that.She replied of course! 30 minutes will get adjusted and you would only have to pay for remaining 30 minutes.I didnt check my receipt after my service (their printer never works and they do not email you the receipt unless you specifically ask them to email you, which I always do), and noticed the next day that I was charged for the entire one hour session and still had remaining 30 minutes on my account.I called the front desk to clarify whats going on and she mentioned that we cannot adjust 30 minutes with your 1 hour session, you can only adjust it if you get a 30 minute add-on over a 60 minute session.This was a complete contradiction to what I was told earlier by the same front desk.I explained to her that I was conveyed completely different information while booking my service and that now I wont be available to use those 30 minutes, she mentioned that she is leaving a note on my account with the details and that she will check with her manager once she is back.Its been more than 2 weeks and since no one reached out to me, I called them again and I was told that there were no such notes on my account regarding the 30 minute adjustment and I can book another service to use those 30 minutes. I explained her the entire scenario and she said would have to check with the manager.What shocked me was that the earlier front desk ladies lied to me about leaving a note and checking with manager, miscommunicated on how to adjust the remaining minutes and not even giving any updates.Is this how you treat your customers? Had I known earlier that there is an issue with adjusting 30 minutes in my service, I would have happily booked 90 minute session and adjusted those 30 minutes as an add-on. I was wrongly communicated about this entire 30 minute add-on adjustment in the first place by the front desk and in the end I have to spend time following up and explaining the entire situation multiple times.Once you cancel your membership, be aware to use all your hours and clarify any other doubts so that you dont have to end up like me.

This place is very bad.they completed massage 10 min before and said they calculate 10 min preparation time, I dont see any logic in it . Overall for 40 min massage I end up paying $160 with tip.massage wasnt good either ,overall waste of my time
Either very incompetent staff, or flaky credit card equipment - I don’t know. But I have issues paying the service every other time I am there.I have two cards on my profile (one debit FSA, one credit card as a backup), and every other time they are unable to charge my cards.Today they tried both cards on the file and one card which I handed them in person, and were unable to charge any of three!! I am 100% confident that they all are active and have credit, I use them on a regular basis.That is ridiculous
Weve gone several times and had no major issues. Not great massages but not bad. The last time we went my therapist spent a lot of time applying pressure on one spot for multiple minutes. It was very odd. She would just press down and hold for a minute. It was not a massage that I enjoyed. I want to go back but Id rather someone tell me who is the best therapist there before I waste another trip...
Pros- the staff was extremely nice, and my massage therapist spent a lot of time working some really sore spots on me that were really problematic. I enjoyed the massage and did feel a bit better when I left. She kindly waited outside to offer me water when I left. I know this is common, but it was still a personal touch I enjoy.Cons- there were quite a few spots during my massage when my massage therapist would grind into a spot that was less centered on the muscles than on the ends of them if that makes any sense. She didnt work those spots for an extended amount of time so it wasnt problematic, but it wasnt where Id expect to be massaged by a professional.Finally, as I was paying, I asked the receptionist to add in a 20% tip to my bill. My total before adding a tip was $65. She added a $21 tip to my bill. Before I left, I asked where she got that total from and she pointed to a piece of paper on the counter that appeared to have tip rates (I didnt bother to read it). I wont begrudge them a few extra dollars, but if that piece of paper says $21 dollars is 20% of a $65 bill, the person who came up with those totals should be fired, and anyone who thinks that math is correct needs to look a little closer. I wont be returning.
Overwhelmingly disappointing. I had been to Massage Envy twice before (SF and Daly City). Both times, I had great experiences. I wasnt expecting anything different at this one, but I was mistaken.I had an appointment at 9 pm on Monday (4.23.18). I arrived early, around 8:50 and was directed into a waiting area. I sat in that waiting area for over 20 minutes. My masseuse walked by twice, but didnt say anything. At about 9:17 (check the camera in the waiting room), she directed me to a room. I remember thinking to myself, not a big deal; she will probably finish at 10:20 instead of 10, since shes starting so late. I was wrong. By the time I undressed and got into the massage table, it was 9:20. By the time the masseuse walked in, I had already lost about 25 minutes of massage time. She gave no consultation or anything. She just started, albeit lethargically. The massage itself wasnt great, but that is not my complaint. My complaint is that when the massage finished, I looked at the clock and it 9:57. What the heck? I paid 105 dollars for a SIXTY minute massage, yet she finished before the end time and started way after? I got a 30 minute massage for 105 dollars, and I will likely never return. The receptionist, however, was extremely friendly
Ashlie was amazing and had awesome customer service…our Fremont massage envy totally cancelled out appt due to their personal stuff I’m surprised they didn’t even try to make it work for us or try another appointment or anything else so disappointing we also have a membership so being able to call This massage envy get great customer service and all the great help made my day. Location is great, place is beautiful but when I scheduled an appointment I specifically asked for someone that knows deep tissue. The guy only knew one style of massage which was swedish but applied a bit deeper. I went in in Hopes to feel better about my neck that I slept wrong on. The massage was too fast pace not allowing certain areas break down and relax. I hardly ever go get massages because for this very reason I feel like my money was wasted on a therapist that has no clue what they are doing. I tried to guide him on pressure but he complained as if I was asking got too much. Great place for a relaxing massage but not real therapist that know how to work on areas that need to be broken down. Once again I will never go to a massage place looking for a real deep tissue massage. Nice place tho!
Ive had a membership for over 3 years. I love this place. Cindi is my massage therapist and she is wonderful. She has helped me when Ive come in with injuries and got my full body massage . She is absolutely wonderful. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.
I am a Massage Envy member. I have been to quite a few locations in the area. I love the Santa Clara location because the facility is really nice and its located in the new shopping center on El Camino. I also experienced super friendly front-desk staff and great Massage Therapists. Its by far the best place in Santa Clara to get massages.
Really nice location, super clean, nice staff, and well decorated! Its not too cold and the beds are comfortable. First therapist wasnt a match for me, but Ill be going back to try again as it was a very pleasant experience. Plenty of parking in the area.
Their esthetician, Elizabeth, is amazing!! Ive been a member of various locations since 2011, and she is hands down the best. If Elizabeth changes locations, Ill just have to move. Thats how good she is! As an added bonus, this location is super nice and the staff is always friendly.
I received a gift certificate as a gift. I tried to request a appointment online. I did not hear from them by noon, so I called. Nothing available until Thursday (its Monday). I was not comfortable giving my credit card over the phone, so I was told if someone with a credit card calls they will get priority and be able to take my appointment. First impression so far, not good.
Make sure to read the fine print guys. I have 6 hours worth of massages left on my account and did not know that after I paid for the year that it would automatically go month to month, my fault I know. I changed credit cards and this months payment for the MONTH TO MONTH did not go through, ok my bad. Wait a second, I cant have the massages I already paid for because there is a hold on my account? Wait a second I cant even give the ones I have paid for away to a friend until I pay for decemeber..... some shady buisness no wonder these guys are always under investigation.
I didnt actually go here I was at a store next door so I guess it thought that I went to this place but that is absolutely not the case. Im sure its a fine establishment and maybe you should check it out someday. Anyway I just thought Id leave a review here just to let you know that I didnt actually go to this business.
The spa/ massage centre is nice and cosy but my masseuse was good buy has to remind her that shes a bit hard on some pressure points which is good and I like but there are certain areas which I just need a light pressure.the place is clean and quiet best for relaxation, and there are nearby restaurants which you can go before or after your massage its a but huge complex with many shops nearby.
If you live in SoCal and are thinking about scheduling in NorCal, beware of an extra $10 charge, at least thats what this location did. That wouldve gone towards the masseuse :(

Its really hard to cancel the membership. If you move town. You have to call then repeatedly to atleast get the cancellation form. People are really difficult to work with. Really a bad experience.
One of the bad massage, the masseur isn’t professional, repeat on each area a lot of time until the mussel too much too long, also the price on the website is $55 per hour and I’ve to pay $65
