I have come here multiple times and have always received a quality massage and everyone has always been very respectful.I appreciate that the massage rooms are individual rooms not just curtains in between.I always feel that for the money I receive a value

Rude owner from the beginning to end.. my friend and I got a 30 minute foot massage and she started the massage timer the moment we sat down, rather than when the actual massaging started! They did not actually start massaging our feet until the timer had already been running for 5+ minutes, while they got the lotions and oils and towels. Not only this, the owner was constantly looking/checking the timer while rubbing my friend’s feet, clearly not happy to be doing her job. She even went to get up and help another girl who was soaking her feet in water waiting, by grabbing her wet feet and putting them in a towel, and goes back to rubbing my friend’s feet with no gloves! So unsanitary to do this.. The final straw was cutting our massages even shorter, and drying our feet for the last/remaining 3-4 minutes.. ended up getting about 20 minutes of actual massage and charged for the full 30 minutes, never again!

My husband used to go here once every 14 days like 3years ago then he switched over to the one near cvs because every single time they wanted more and more tip money.. i actually forgot. and for his birthday i bought gift cards for him to enjoy and hour here. He seemed hesitant and didnt wanna go but i had already paid for it. So today he went, he was given a massage by a lady. The massage was good he gave her a $20 and asked her to take $5 as a tip for herself. She was not happy about it he said and looked at him a certain way. In my opinión i paid for a gift certificate of $60 for a 1 hour massage he gave $5 from his heart and was looked down on. I think tipping culture in this massage place is insane. Tipping is optional NOT mandatory. In CA the minimum working wage is $15.50 an hour . If your an employee here and not being paid 15.50 or more an hour for your work report your employer. Stop asking for more tip money and ask your employer for a raise!!

My 2 daughters and I went in for a foot massage. We decided on the 60 minute one. They started with soaking our feet and neck, shoulder, and back massage. Then worked on our lower legs and feet. More than we expected. It was wonderful. The people are very nice, place was clean and very calming. We will definitely return.

Ive given $10 or $20 tips (mother-and-daughter massage); they still expect more. They said it was not enough. I cant believe they are still operating when they demand that you tip them more. There is no sense of customer service at this location. Looking at multiple negative reviews about tips, Ive seen that they thank the customer but havent seen any change. I will never go back, and I do not recommend this place.

Great service for the money but not English speaking so it becomes really difficult to get attention on specific recovery areas. Even after pointing to my thighs they completely ignored the area and I had to upgrade to a longer session, and they still didn’t actually use any oil on the skin.Then when I went to pay they were upset at me for not tipping. This is my third visit there, but not sure I’ll go back.

I came here today and a masseuse named Lili gave me an unforgettable body massage. Her technique is powerful! Penetrating! It can effectively relieve the fatigue of my shoulders, waist and legs, and make my whole body very relaxed and comfortable! ! I will look for her next time. Recommend everyone to come here, the massage technique here is very good!

The massage was very good, but my waist was very uncomfortable. After a few massages, my lower back is very relaxed now, and I sleep a lot better! I will go back for a relaxing massage next time!

Both my girlfriend and I went for her birthday. This was my first massage ever and I was very pleased overall. My girlfriend had a woman masseuse and I had a man. We were in separate rooms and overall the facility was very clean. There was a slight language barrier however the gentlemen knew the right areas to get and would ask me if I was okay every 15 mins. The only thing I didnt like is that he kept the door opened a couple times when he stepped out but it was only a few seconds. I definitely felt relaxed and less tensed when I was finished. Their tip was well deserved and we will definitely return again.

This was a very interesting place. First a man tried to give me a massage when I specifically asked for a woman... there was a lot of dry massaging before the oil came in. The masseuse didn’t seem to have knowledge of the muscles so wasn’t exactly hitting the right spots. They said my tip was too less... The positive: They used hot stones which were quite nice.

I’ve been coming here for several years and It is definitely the best massage on the central coast.They’re open from 9 AM to 9 PM which is very nice I try to go late at night to get a massage Because it helps me sleep better at night. Mary is my personal masseuse and she is the best. Everybody there is very nice and polite. I definitely recommend everybody to try it at least once.

Be careful owner manager is a thief charged me when I came in and insisted I didn’t pay so stole another payment ! Masusse was excellent but don’t pay with cash use a card so you have proof or pay at the end .. will never return here again ! Criminals !

I had an amazing massage by Lucy! The prices are very reasonable, and she did an incredible job. I felt like a new person after my massage! I highly recommend this place. :)

This is truly the best Asian Message Parlor in town. I have been coming here for the last 7 years maybe longer consistently. This place has been so good to me personally that I even bring my son and daughter here. My girlfriend Gail and I try to get here at least twice a month. Hellan, Mary, and Kevin do great work. I suggest a 90 minute combo message, back, body, and then foot... You will feel brand new when they are done. Or if you just want to chill, you can’t go wrong with a relaxing foot message. Never the less, you can try every where else after here, then you will understand why I say they are the best at Yang Shen.

Came in got a 30 min massage and only gave me a 20 min massage. I still decided to tip them and they complain because I only game them $5 and was asking for more. I would never recommend this place. Wasn’t even worth it!

Worst massage for 50 bucks and couldn’t talk to either

Pretty good place for the price. No they dont speak very good english, but what do expect for $40. The end result is you leave relaxed. This is a legitimate place and not one of those fake parlors that do special services. I have been coming here for years and they can get very busy, so its recommend you call ahead to make an appointment. Not to shoot down the negative personal views here, but dont believe what others say until you experience it yourself. The man at the front desk is also a masseuse, a very nice man who is there to make sure the ladies are safe from perverts that are looking for those special services. One lady LuLu was the best they had, but has since went back home. So the idea of slave labor is out the window. These ladys are free to leave. Good luck and enjoy your $40 massage its worth trying it. Be cautious of over dramatic reviews....

Ohhhhhh, I am so glad I stopped by. After a not so great meap at an undisclosed location( to be named later) I needed this bad. Got the 90minute body and foot massage. Lisa was my masuer and she was awesome! I highly suggest Lisa. Very good pressure on the body massage. Than came the foot massage. That was also very good. I did have to ask for more pressure though but other than that, I will be back👍😁

Today I went back for a massage again, a massage called Sophia gave me a very good massage, I enjoyed it very much, I fell asleep very relaxing massage, I have a friend who needs a massage and I will introduce this place, Exit Sophia See you in a week!

I have been to this spa twice and I am very pleased with the massages I got both times. I have a problem with my back and the massages have done wonders! I will continue going there and I recommend it to my friends and family!

I went in tonight for a massage. Surprised at the fact that they were open so late (I went once I was off work at 630pm and they are open until 9pm). When I was taking my clothes off I notice a dollar had slipped out of my pants pocket. I slipped it under my shoe because the lady was quickly knocking to come in. Had my 1 hr body massage (which was ok and she did not ask if I was ok with oil being put on my face once I was flipped over). Once I started putting my clothes back on I realized the dollar was not under my shoe, checked my pants all the cash that was in my pants pocket was missing. Checked in my shoes under my shoes my jacket. To finally find all my cash (only 18$) shoved underneath the carpet!! I was astonished! I put my clothes back on went out to pay my 50$ (which btw the website says 40$) put a zero with a line through to indicate no tip! Since, they tried to take my cash while I was face down on the table. Walked to my car started to back up, I look up to see that the lady was standing infront of my vehicle!!! With reciept and a pen in hand waving her hands at me. I rollldled my window down and she tells me why no tip? Zero tip? I proceeded to tell her what happen with my cash and that tips were not mandatory (Im a hair dresser and dont get tipped all the time, Id never chase the customer down because of that) I had to explain it 3 time before she finally walked away from my half way pulled out vehicle in the parking lot. Im keeping my receipt that says $50.00 just incase they attempt to play games with my debit card. Really disappointed. Ive been there 3 times. And I think Ill not be going back due to every encounter Ive had is less than satisfying.

Kevin gave me the best chair massage I have ever had. Pressure was perfect. I had a lot of tension in my neck/shoulders and he cured it.

Really good massage and they’re open all day. Bring a friend and do the one hour foot massage... they massage your upper body on this one while your feet soak. Clean... professional.
