Me and my family came here for the brunch. The food was freshly made and quite quality. The Benedict and Harsh Brown were perfect.I am not a salmon lover, but I will come back and order Pilchuck Scramble again. Love the coffee as well. There were four of us, and Ruth took very good care of us. She was so professional and helpful.I visited it on Saturday as well for the band, and the music was amazing. Me and my family enjoyed the vibe and the snacks ( French Fries and Fried Calamari). I will order IPA citrus beer again, and the service was excellent.I will absolutely come back again for the food, service and entertainment.
Went on a Thursday evening for my mothers birthday. This venue is huge and we were seated promptly. Our server Lisa offered phenomenal service. We got the loaded potato skins, prime rib which came with a side salad, and coconut cream pie. The portions are QUITE generous. My mother raved that its the best steak shes had in a restaurant ever. The meal was wonderful.
Place is loud. We could barely hear each other. Servers are always very busy. Wait time more than average places.Tea selection substandard. Cooking medium substandard. Theres a lingering smell indoors.Fruit and veggies used are far from fresh.Tinned fruits are used for pancakes...
Good comfort food. Not fancy but clean, tables are spread out, a bit noisy. Corned beef hash is flavorful with big chunks of beef, not shreddy or mushy. Monte Cristo is not a typical one but we liked it better because is less greasy and not overly sugared. Biscuits are extra large, a little dry but thats what butter is for. Food was a little cold coming out the few times we visited but the super friendly wait staff and greeters makes up for that. Id still come back.
Food was the worse we ever had. We have been going to CCR for years but just had our last meal there today. Ordered a kids breakfast and was charged for an adult. Waitress could not understand what was going on. My daughter is allergic to dairy and we asked for no butter. Meal arrives with butter, waitress takes it off and flips overs the pancake, like we wouldn’t noticed. Bacon was cooked hours before and came out coldMy two daughters looked at me and asked that we never come back. I couldn’t agree more. Sad to not have a local breakfast spot anymore.
We love it here! They have the best deck seating. The food is delicious and fresh. Barry was always generous in donating to our school auction (their desserts are to die for, especially the Oreo cheesecake!). Recently, I took my daughter for a mommy/daughter date and she loved it, too! I added a picture of the kids menu, as I couldnt find one on their website. They have a large menu, so there is something for everyone.
This is one of those places that charges what I call the SNEAKY TAX. Or service chargeThey add this to your bill and want you to tip your waitress on top of it. Or maybe they dont care if you tip or not. The excuse, I guess, is that you are helping pay for the waitstaff benefits. I have never had bad service here, and I feel like the staff are the ones taking the hit the most on this. The food is mediocre at best and overpriced before they add that extra 8%.Im pretty sure that my company doesnt charge a sneaky tax when someone orders a sign to help pay for their staff.I wont go there anymore. And I check ahead at other restaurants to make sure that isnt being done.
We arrived just before nine Saturday morning, and since nobody was at the front counter, we sat ourselves. Server walked past us twice and totally ignored us. After ten minutes we got up and left. In that time the server has hardly in our area and it looked like others were dealing with miserable slow service. Never even saw a person refilling coffee cups. Had a great breakfast just down the street at first and union.
Love this place! Great food, comfy settings in both restaurant and bar area. Wait staff are very friendly. Food is consistently good and decent portions! Easy to substitute items for specific dieting needs (ex, no carbs for keto diet - see pic of my modified eggs benedict). Good selection of alcoholic beverages also. Omg their huge fancy mimosa is the Bomb!!! And crazy huge decked out bloody Marys are insane here! Definitely recommend this place 100% breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
Way to go CCR for charging me and my husband each $2.19 extra for about 20 pieces of green onions and $2.19 extra each for a sprinklingof cheese on our hash browns. At no time was an extra charge even mentioned for these items when we ordered them.I also orderedan omelet. You charged me $11.49 for the omelet and $1.99 for each additional ingredient I wanted in my omelet which totaled $5.97+$11.49=1 7.46. So basically you charged me $11.49 for 3 eggs?Nowhere on your menu does it state the charge for individual items if you Build your own omelet. Maybe you should rethink whatsleft out of your menu??I guess Ill stick with the Sawmill Cafe and Mukilteo Speedway Cafe where cheese and green onions on hash browns are complimentary.Shame on you.....
Our server was excellent as well as the food.We come every weekend and we recommend to all of our friends
Im going to start with the good. Server was friendly and prompt. Pot stickers were freshly made, and decent. Then it went downhill..fast. my husbands sweet n sour chicken was ICE COLD. Like, not fresh but leftover and reheated (only the cook missed the reheating part) My orange chicken was mushy, again, could NOT have been fresh. If you are going to advertise a great asain menu, DO NOT SERVE OLD, COLD, MUSHY FOOD!!! SO, SO DISAPPOINTING. Waitress was great and did not charge for sweet n sour chicken. Half of mine was eaten. But mostly people tasting and confirming breaded chicken was mushy and NOT freshly cooked.
The food here is amazing! Most, if not all, is homemade, even their tartar sauce and salad dressings. Its comfort food, so its not the latest bites, but its still very good. We have always had great service as well.
You guys rock! My family and I love the food & service you all provide! I’m happy the Chinese food is back in the weekends too! :)
Your restaurant was a bad experience. The food was terrible. The waitress walked by with your cod, and it smelled like it was sitting in the back of the kitchen for weeks. It was horrible. I lost my appetite. The food I got was soggy. The bread was falling apart and old the salad lettuce was brown. I didn’t eat my food and sent it back and they still charged me for my meal. I will never go back to this place again. Over priced and way do I have to pay 8% of your employees can’t you the owner pay your employees good living wage so I don’t have to do you keep there tips?
Thanksgiving dinner was a complete joke. We booked our reservations two weeks before Thanksgiving. We were told we would be able to order either a traditional turkey dinner or off of their regular menu. We were seated an hour after our reservation time. We were then informed they were out of mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and the other special menu entree, Prime Rib. As no one wanted a turkey dinner with only the turkey and no sides we went to order off the regular menu only to find out it was a limited menu. The waitress was extremely rude, took 25 minutes to take our orders (even a drink order). It then took 40 minutes to receive our greasy fish and chips. The dinner was a complete disaster. There is no excuse for a restaurant to run out of food when we had reservations weeks in advance.
This is a five star all the way! From the time we walked in until we left. The servers are super efficient and upbeat. The food was amazing.
We have eaten here several times in the past and it was always fair. This last trip we stopped for lunch. It was beyond bad all I can say is we will never return. To bad we are locals and would have been loyal customers if the food was good. It is now way over priced on everything. 8% service charge so they can afford to pay the help. Plus gratuity. If you dont know how to manage your business and pay the dont ask me to do it for you. Goodbye forever.
Used to have good food, but food was nearly inedible at our last visit. Seafood chowder had so much salt in it I couldnt eat it. French dip was way overcooked and bread was soggy. Only positive was the fries were good. Service was incredibly slow, even though there was only one other table had people at it, and it was being serviced by another waitress.
We had a great lunch here on Easter. All different dishes all happy customers.
I wanna start by saying I myself am a server and work in a busy restaurant. the FOOD WAS AWFUL!!! The service was nonexistent, the best part of our visit was the drunk guys at the bar making jokes. I should have known better when I saw the other table have to send their food back… we tried but won’t be going back.
Horrible service. I want more from this place but unfortunately Will has the owners ear and ruins it.
Country style ambience, wasn’t much crowded on Sunday evening. Had kinda two congrats menus, one was the Asian fusion and other American style. We got the Mongolian beef and Dijon chicken. Beef was very juicy and delicious. Chicken was tender and well cooked. They do have good dessert options as well.
Best tuna melt i have ever had! 1/2 for lunch at the restaurant. Brought the other 1/2 home for dinner and still fantastic cold out of the fridge. Great service too. Been there many times and never disappointed.
This place is so expensive for such bland food. Soft drink was $5.39 and had to wait forever for a refill!Got baked spaghetti and garlic cheese bread with zero flavor.Very disappointing. And to top it all off they add an 8% fee.
Grear menu, lots of choices. Food was very good. Drinks were pouredLike I was at home. Excellent service!
The food was so amazing!!! the chicken confit was amazing and so tender. Also, really enjoyed the fried zucchini the cheese sauce was amazing. Super fantastic. If you haven’t been come, give it a shot.
Very nice restaurant. Server Nikki is nice and polite. Good food!
Food was very bad :( very fatty, overcooked and tasteless; the service was mediocre and I would say even rude; the atmosphere didn’t exist, never stepping again there. The menu listed on the web site does not match with the one handed in the restaurant
We dont live in town, so we placed an order for pick up. To be fair, when we go into the restaurant to eat, its usually really good. Not this time. My grandson ordered fish n chips. They were soggy, and the fries were so salty they were inedible. My husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Fries were again, way too salty. Bun was soggy and there were no condiments, no cheese, no lettuce or tomato. Just bacon and the burger, which was way overcooked and dry when he asked that it be medium rare. I myself ordered chicken fried steak with a side salad. Salad tasted like some sort of cleaner, totally inedible. The chicken fried steak was so overcooked that you could barely cut through it. My daughters only complaint was that here medium rare steak was cooked to well done, so it was very tough and dry. For all of this we paid $78. When I called to voice my concerns, I was told I would have to come in right away to talk to someone in person, even though I explained it was a long trip to town. If we had dined in house, we would have sent it back. Disappointed our concerns werent addressed when I called, and totally disappointed in the the quality of the food wont be going here again.
I have always had good food Here at collectors choice, last time we came our steaks were so near raw that they were purple inside which is fine if that what you like however we asked for medium well.. sent the steaks back 4 times before they were medium well.. this time my husbands pork was flavorless and my pasta was so over cooked it was slimey and not edible. For 100.00 I would expect to enjoy my meal. That was not the case here. I will not be returning. Super disappointed
The food was overpriced and mediocre (at best), but at least the wait staff was friendly and polite.
Prime rib last 2 times very grissely and almost half fat. Quality has clearly gone down. Potato not cooked all the way. Bread was a rock. Sad the place has lost quality. Used to be our date out once in awhile but going to find new spot
Ordered two of the cod and Chips, coleslaw Only had mayo in it , no taste At all, fish was Really mushy, fries overdone and WAY to salty. Was charged 57.50, they added secret gratuity tip, Not cool. Very Dissatisfied. Woman checking me out was Very unfriendly.
Cheryl is a fantastic server. Always makes the meal enjoyable!
I remember years ago when coming here means you’d get awesome service and amazing food. I was in Sunday morning, and the food was still good but the service was horrible. The service the last few times has been negligent and poor. I had to ask three times for a straw (I have sensitive teeth and forgot my reusable one at home.) As a prior server, I give benefit of the doubt and watched how she interacted with other tables. She was cheery and polite with others, but with us cold and downright rude. My boyfriend never got the salt/pepper he asked for even before our food was brought. His eggs were cold, and then we saw her once the rest of the 40 minutes we were there. One of the best breakfast places in town has lost my business after 15+ years of going here, because this isn’t the first time this has happened either. Last time I waited 25 minutes for someone to even bring waters after being seated, let alone menus or take our order. Hire better quality servers. The turnaround here seems very quick.
The Chow Fusion food was excellent and the portions are huge.
Thank you Collector’s Choice for all the fabulous food at Beacon Plumbing hospitality suite at SeaFair! The food was fabulous. No detail was forgotten. Truly wonderful and set up wonderful! People were very pleased with this yummy food!
Service was good and fast, our server was nice and took our orders smoothly since we were a large party. He was very professional and patient as well.Unfortunately, it seemed that our food was almost a fake fancy. The steak was mediocre at best, the bbq pork Chinese dish was salty, and the fettuccine Alfredo was almost like buttered noodles, not very much flavor and some of the noodles were burnt and hard.Fortunately, the server saved the day by bringing this amazing oreo cheesecake. Desert here is great. Service is great. Food could be better.
The establishment was very nice, a big thank you to the young lady working in the kitchen who noticed us sit down in the seating area right by the kitchen and got us menus because no one else had noticed us. The food was delicious, I was concerned with my margarita because it tasted like straight tequila with very little mix added and the wait staff did not ask if I wanted to rim salted or unsalted. My preference is sugar around the rim to counter the bitterness of the tequila and sweeten it just enough. So the experience was good.
Always a great meal no matter when you go! Staff is friendly and helpful. Bloody Marys are the best😋! Love CCR! If you need banquet facilities theyre awesome too! Also thank you and your staff during the pandemic. Always feel comfortable coming here. Your always cleaning and I appreciate the staff working so hard during this time of supply issues, etc!
I find it completely inappropriate that they felt entitled to be adding an 8% service fee for the kitchen staff. Kitchen staff should be paid at a higher hourly rate because it is not a tipped position----and it is not the customers responsibility to fund that. Raise prices if you cant afford to pay them more but there is no way in hell I should be asked for 30% total in tips for my meal. Shameful.
Showed up with a party of 4 at about 1:45, was told we have to wait about 10 to be seated. Were finally seated at 2:00 on the dime. We thought they were busy, but the dining area was at least half empty with plenty of 4 seat tables. Then, because we had to wait, we were told no breakfast, which was what we came for. We looked over the lunch menu. $14 tuna sandwhich? $22 salad? This is a diner. The quality is not fine dining. Then I read a 6% charge or nothing other than misleadingly hiking up their already outrageous prices? $1.75 charge to share your food? The only saving grace was our amazingly nice waiter who worked to at least get us breakfast. He convinced us to stay when we were ready to walk out.
Update: Removed stars for poor service, waitress leaving other guests dirty dishes on our table and cold food. After being seated we waited 20 mins or so before the waitress came. When she did, she took our drink orders but put another tables dirty plates on our table and just left them there. She kept walking by and it had been awhile since we ordered drinks. So I finally got her attention and asked about our drinks and also asked if she could remove the other tables dirty dishes. She took the plates and said shed check on our drinks but didnt say anything about the dirty dishes she put on our table. When she came with our food it was pretty cold. It might have been good if it was hot or at least warm but it was cold. We were very disappointed with our entire experience.Previous review:Good Food and drinks.Like my reviews? Give them a like! Thanks!
I usually love the atmosphere, and service is usually great, this evening was a disappointment to say the least. Appetizers were great, drinks were okay. Theresa forgot about my water for at least 20 minutes, as she continued to bring folks waters all around me and I was unable to flag her as she was too preoccupied, even though we were only one of 3 tables with just a few people seated at the bar. We ordered steak, one with crab and one with prawns. She didnt ask how we would like our steak, as a result it was far too overcooked. She messed up my friends order and when it was corrected her crab was cold as ice. Yuck.
I bet this place is great for breakfast but otherwise its quite dreary. This seems to attract a dull crowd in the range of baby boomers to the elderly. I was there for dinner and the food was decent but not as exciting as it should have been for the price. Though most restaurants do it I feel its worth mentioning, my salmon was over-cooked.They offer craft beer but when I asked what was available from the breweries listed on the menu the waitress just parroted back. Apparently she did not know that those breweries make more than one style of beer. It even took two trips to the bar to finally get an answer so even the bar staff had the same issue. I blame their training and not them, not everyone is interested in alcohol. What it boils down to is that this is a glorified Sherrys or Perkins(decent diner chains).
Our waitress was friendly, which pushed this rating up to a two, but the food was...well....disgusting. There is no other way to say it. I ordered the BBQ plate. It came with ribs, sausage and pulled pork (I think that is what it was). The ribs were tough, the sausage stringy and the pulled pork was like a pile of mush. I literally gagged when I tried it. My husband had the country fried chicken. He said that his was okay, but definitely not the best. My kiddos were really hungry so tried to eat their meals, but nether could finish their plates because they didnt like it. And on top of that, the 6% service fee. Just really disappointed. We wont go back.
Update:Based on the detailed response from Barry Galen this review is updated to respect leadership stepping up when its hard, but the right thing to do. We will come back and try again soon.Original Revue:The young waitress girl was so very nice, helpful and friendly but the front desk left us and others waiting over 5 minutes while there were many seats available on a Tuesday afternoon about 3pm. The salmon was over cooked, not fresh, my salad had dark wilted parts, fries were above average but the tartar sauce and blue cheese dressing seemed cheap. My wifes Rye patty melt was burnt hard with a meat patty too small for the sandwich. The mens room had PISS all over the floor, looked run-down and the garbage receptacles were OVERFLOWING. The ladies room reportedly had similar issues and no toilet paper in her stall. So the almost $50 for a late lunch turned out creepy. I sincerely hope the management can step up the leadership and bring back the pride of our beautiful town Snohomish. Well probably wait a year before trying them again.
Pretty disappointed with this meal. Steak was overcooked and veggies were undercooked. Definitely not worth the price. Only good thing was the mash potatoes. Waste of $80
We have found our new favorite place in Snohomish county to go eat breakfast. The waitress (Cheryl) was super friendly, the food was beyond excellent, is there anything wrong with this place? And by the way, this goes to all restaurant owners around, take your waitresses to this place to eat and if Cheryl takes care of you have them learn how a waitress is supposed to take care of customers, Cheryl is not human, she’s like the goddess of waitresses. If you ever make it around here make sure you stop by.
Great food! Feels like home.
Food has really gone down hill. Just not the same quality food we had been used to under the old management. Pancakes were sent back 2 times for being raw and were not any better on the 3rd attempt. Calamari was so rubbery it was inedible. The flavor of the meat in my hamburger was weird. I actually told my husband I didnt care if u ever went back.
Ordered the 14 OZ ribeye for my bday today. The cut received was not a ribeye and had too much gristle in random places to even pretend to be the cut advertised. Wont be back for awhile. They do some things right but this steak wasnt one of them. Id have better food at Dennys or the Buzz inn sirloins are far superior. Everyone elses food was good though.
Hot chocolate was a bit too sweet everything else was amazing
I booked a private room for a party last night. The person in charge of the booking did not send the invoice until the day prior with discrepancies that I had to sort out the day of the event. The service was poor. All of my guests complained about the lack of water available and most had to get their own beverages from the bar. I brought wine and had to serve it to my guests myself. I ordered a vegetarian burger and the bun was so hard I could barely saw through it. Not to mention it cost $12.99 and I wasnt served until all my guests had ate theirs. The rest of the food was good except I got the wrong salad. I would not book a large party here again. We spent a large amount of money for a mediocre experience. And the tip amount was written so large on the ticket as if to demand payment. Very unprofessional.
Delish! Huge selection of breakfast. Really yummy turkey melt and great cod and chips. Service was fast and friendly. She hooked us up with extra tarter sauce for our leftovers. So nice!
Have great food, if they get it right. Lost me as a customer, Ive got a wrong meal more than the right meal. And I order the same thing every time, but yet agian it as wrong. Thought I would try again just to get handed my food to go without a bag. NEVER AGIAN.....
A very big establishment. A little date but portions were large. Ordered hash browns.with bacon and a side of sliced tomato and an apple juice. Very fresh and service was very good. Hidden behind the Rite Aid but once found Ill be back. $20 for breakfast included a $5 tip so good value.
I was very excited for my husband and I to try this place because we heard the food was very good. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED!! My food was so cold the butter did not even melt on my waffle, cold bacon and my husbands pancakes tasted like they were made in hamburger grease. I hated to complain but I had no choice. All they did was adjust the bill by $6.00 . We paid $30 for a cold and dissatisfying breakfast. We will not be back!!!Should have went to BuzzInn.
This restaurant served me possibly the best meal Ive had in my entire life, which is huge because my mother is a fantastic cook herself.I came to this place with some friends as a homecoming double date and i must say it delivered quite beyond our expectations. I purchased the Seafood Fettuccine, which was absolutely marvelous, every morsel tasted fresh and melted in the mouth. Their crab beignets were marvelous as well. Would recommend for any special occasion.
I ordered the 8oz sirloin steak, medium well. It came to me medium rare. Other than that, I had an enjoyable meal. We had to ask for rolls too. But overall, the food was good. I didnt eat the vegetables because they were zucchini mixed with red peppers and I strongly dislike both. I would go back again.
I finally tried Collectors Choice after living here for 7 years. I have to admit after reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to try it out. I am glad I did, I ordered the 2 2 2 French toast and the French toast was amazing. Two slices of thick texas toast cooked with just the right amount of sweetness. My scrambled eggs were perfectly and fluffy, and the bacon slices were good sized. My family members had pancakes and they were HUGE. My 6 year old ate his whole pancake and some of his brothers so it must have been good because hes a picky eater. I highly recommend you try it.
Took over half hour to receive food. Biscuits and gravy was ordered by two In our party- They both felt like gravy had too much flour....also luke warm, had film on top as when been sitting. One had the grub-she likes it as she orders light in onions. Custom omelette was only fair... the egg was very dry... and like warm...we did at one time love the food here.....
We ordered the fish and chips and the prime rib dip. Both where very moist and tasty. Our waiter CJ was a great help and was non obtrusive yet always there when the drinks needed reordered.
Great food overall, but the customer service could be better. My sister and I went out for lunch there, and when we were being seated, the hostess threw our menus on the table. Our waiter was very short with us throughout our time there, however she was very friendly with the other customers she was helping.
We came here for breakfast and they served spoiled hash browns, they tasted so tangy taste it was like they were made with lemon juice. When we notified their staff the only answer we got is ok, we will notify kitchen. Not only there is no excuse to serve spoiled food, they also didnt bother to make it right or apologize.
The staff and manager are so nice there. When a manager comes around to your table that shows me he really cares about how you are treated and if your meal is well. I like that in a restaurant. Great food. A little pricy but you are well fed. Nice comfortable place. The only thing I would change is on the chicken alfredo, in which I love, is that the chicken was not so thin and that there was more of it in the noodles. Maybe it was a small chicken day. But it is yummy.
Went to lunch and, ordered the Prime Rib Dip sandwich. Recieved it with literally 2 VERY THINLY SLICES of supposed PRIME RIB. Waitress was very apologetic and had cook FIX it. Got it back. With 1 more slice of meat that had been put on the FLAT TOP AND WAS now cooked until it was leather. Waitress did take the meal of the bill. I will not go back. Way over priced for the quality of the meal. Not worth all of the hype.
We hosted a wedding rehersal dinner here in Oct 2019. The manager was very efficient in helping me plan the details. The night of the event the servers handled our large group with ease. The food was buffet style and was fresh and tasty.
I recently met my husband here twice at Collector’s Choice and had two of the best meals ever! You have to try the halibut fish and chips and hubby loved the Prime Rib. Service was top notch and the portions were huge - no room for dessert that night! So.... we returned because hubby wanted to try the Osso Bucco pork shank and I had to try the Weinerschnitzel. So yummy! With fresh perfectly cooked green beans! And we had plenty of leftovers for another meal the next day....... so we saved room for dessert! Oh my! The fresh baked devil’s food cake was amazing (huge piece - leftover for next day as well) and hubby loved the Key Lime pie!! Oh! And I forgot to mention the Bloody Mary beverages with goodies in it! I think it was called the Mega Mary. Overall, great service, great value and we got two meals out of our second visit. We are planning to return with friends for breakfast in the near future. So happy to have taken the time to drive here from Woodinville!
I was in town for a swim meet and really needed to get some food in me before I started. My parents and I hobbled on in to the Collectors Choice expecting a quick breakfast then to head straight to the pool... we were in hell to say the least... they told us it would be a 15 minute wait even though it seemed no one was there... like no one... 5 minutes later they ended up taking over to the one part of the restaurant that was packed with people. So we crammed into a booth and waited about 10 minutes for a waitress to come by only to leave without our order. When we finally got our order taken about 10 minutes later we waited about 40 more before we even got a refill of a drink, let alone our meals. When our food did come, its was cold, almost as if it was ready 20 minutes before it came out. Thanks...
We were there last night with friends to celebrate the holidays with them...sadly disappointed.Ome meal was brought out and was wrong and so the rest of us had meals before this person got her correct one.My wifes potato was cold and hard in the middle and the lemon chicken dish was also cold. She didnt mention it because she didnt want to wait any longer (again). One of our guests is allergic to seafood and wasnt told that the salmon chowder had clams in it. She was told it was chowder with salmon. She carries an epi pen and luckily didnt have to use it since she noticed it right away.Another of our guests had the rib eye steak and it was very thin and not very warm..he thinks it was a different cut (never had a rib eye as thin as a hamburger before).Twice the drink refills were wrong and had to be replaced (after 10 minutes of waiting). We wanted a desert and our checks were brought prior to asking about it and then the cheesecake tasted a week old and the whip topping was stale and hard. And then the checks had to be corrected again. One would think that maybe a free desert would have been offered to the guest whos order was wrong and she ate after everyone else was almost done..but nope..nothing ever mentioned. For 5 people to eat here our bill was a total of 225.00And after the not very good at all meal I can think of alot of other restaurants in the area with a much better experience than last nights Holiday get together..next time we will go to the REPP downtown like we did last year...Save your money...
Went there last night our waiter was never around when you needed him and forgot stuff. I ordered the Chicken Oscar, it came in a pile. everything was all piled up. Have you ever tried to cut chicken breast on top of a pile of mashed potatoes and asparagus? Well it dont work. The mashed potatoes were good, and so was the chicken. But the asparagus was woody. They either had not kept them in water or did not cut enough of the stems off and they had no seasoning. The hollandaise sauce had no flavor. The crab on top tasted like it had been frozen for at least a year. It definitely was not fresh. Bottom line it was not worth the $17.95
Best steaks we have had since we moved here 2 years from Ohio! The portions I thought were of good size for the price...gona have another meal out of them. The restaurant was clean....the service was amazing and we will definitely go back again soon!!! Loved it!!
Food isnt too bad but the service is always a problem. We have been here half a dozen times but the last time it took 45 minutes to get our food once ordered. Many people that arrived after us got their food before us. Then when the food came out it was wrong and missing items. We didnt bother correcting since we were running late. The check then took forever to come and they tried to charge us for the items they never served us. Service is never that great but this was the worst. Their food isnt good enough to suffer through all of that. We will not be going back.
Took the wife there for our anniversary. Was a little bit worried after reading the reviews. Both my wifes and my food was awesome server was great. Would definitely go there again. We were both pleasantly impressed by the food.
Good food. Waitress was nice.
Popular with locals. We eat there weekly. Best part of it all is the consistently happy, friendly, helpful staff. Plenty spaces between tables. Never encountered enough loudness to disrupt conversation in normal voice level. Some dishes more calories & carbos than we like. But fine salads, etc, too.
We love Will! He’s the best! We come here just to see him! Thanks for your fabulous service! We’ll see you Saturday 🤗 and the food is pretty good too!
Food was fine. Husband and I both ordered more pricey things (prime rib & a pork chop special, both of which were about $25/each), and the food was good, but not sure if it was worth the money.Service was ok, kind of slow getting refills, etc. Will probably go back and order the cheaper options (sandwiches, chicken, etc.)
Picked up dinner Easter Sunday, got there just as the order came out, chicken strips were over done and tough, fries were inedible, forgot dipping sauces. While I appreciate the attempt to serve us in this stressful time, least you could do is provide tasty food. 55 bucks plus a 15 percent gratuity, never again.
My family and I have been going to Collectors Choice/Old Man Brewing for years. Great breakfasts, adult beverages, and the staff is like family.Highly recommend.
This place was such a pleasant surprise! it was our first time visiting and we had no expectations, but they surprised us at every turn with great atmosphere, wonderful service, and excellent food. We hope to come back! The only thing that was strange to us (because it didnt seem to fit the class of the restaurant) was the tarot card readings.
Well Ive never been disappointed until they moved. I went there yesterday I was extremely extremely disappointed. Me my mother in law, uncle, son and sister in law went in for lunch. We ordered 3 of the Dungeness crab melts. Being 20 dollar sandwiches and stating to be fresh crab I was very curious as to how the cheese wss melted when our sandwiches were so cold they felt like they came out of the fridge after a few days in there. My plate was warm and my fries were warm but my crab melt was so cold and not to mention the bland taste. There was absolutely no flavor besides the cheese. We did inforn the waitress who asked us if we would like Her to bring them back and heat them up for us. We politely declined and asked for them to go because wet can just heat them up later in the microwave at home. Having bought 3 and all were cold and tasteless. I would have appreciated like a little discount to showtheyre apology. Or something. They did nothing. So after our over 100 bill. We left hungry and with cold sandwiches. I cant say I will ever be back. Very very upsetting.
Oh my holy deliciousness!Prepare to give your elastic waist a run for its money. I wore jeans. If I didn’t possess an innate intimacy with my own body, I could have stuffed myself to oblivion. Remember the fat guy that explodes on the old, disgusting Sega commercial?Wait, strike that from your memory for a second while I whet your appetite afresh. The Food. On a recommendation from a local friend, I tried the chicken fried eggs benne. My husband ordered the German sausage potatoes. Both were so good that we couldn’t decide who’s was the tastier. For a mid Sunday morning, the place was completely packed out. After waiting 10 minutes or so, I heard the hostess mention to another patron that the bar was open. We found a table right away and had our food within 15 minutes.Pro tip: eat in the bar.Con tip: the whole restaurant is noisy so it doesn’t matter much where you sit and if you are running away from your children like we did this morning (for the first time in months) the noise won’t bother you as much because it lacks the high octave shrieks and exclamations of small children. You could almost call it peaceful. We also left with enough food to feed our entire family of 5, and that is eating to complete satisfaction at the table.Pro tip: the portions are HUGE. Order the biscuit, I dare you.Con tip: you’d better make yourself stop at half the plate, or else all your dreams of living in a fit body go right out the window. In all, I will not only be recommending this place to all my friends and visitors to Snohomish County, I’ll be returning myself.Love,The Forking Witch
The new owners are hands on and in the restaurant every day. The food and service is great. The staff is friendly and well trained. Dining at Collectors Choice is very worthwhile. We enjoy it every time we go.
We came in tonight just for dessert. The Coconut Cream Pie and Loganberry Pie were delicious!! Our server was very attentive and did a great job, love our new dessert place :)
Had our rehersal dinner hear and got the prime rib, it was so good! Nice that they can block off separate rooms for allowing private parties while contiuing there regular business. Host was very helpful in setting up things and willing to change things if that is what the bride wanted.
If you order smart this place is everything good about classic American fare. The Pilchuck scramble is classic salmon omelet the and the portions are gracious. Always order their cottage potatoes over Hash Browns because their that much better, but not because the hash Browns are bad. Their biscuits are massive and fresh. I save them with some butter and jam and stretch every breakfast into a lunch later that day. The full Caesar salad is massive and classic. Heavy thick dressing, shredded parmesan over grated. Full bar with locals that drink and laugh in the bar. Sport on in the bar all the time but no sound. This place is classic.
Good place. Most certainly the best restaurant in Snohomish city. Used to be the New Red Lotus. The owner is a good guy. And if it isnt a steak dinner but Chinese... got the Peking Duck up the road a half mile east.
Our initial venture to Collectors Choice was based on high recommendations from members on SCCC Snohomish County Crime and Community Discussion group, a local group for Snohomish County residents. When a fellow member inquired about breakfast suggestions, there were multiple mentions of this Snohomish, WA restaurant. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner with great variety along with specials. Were thankful for this discovery!I appreciate that the Monte Cristo is served with fresh fruit, but you can substitute other sides. The pineapple, watermelon, melon and grape or other fresh fruit is always great quality. The menu offers excellent variety and they are willing to make adaptions. All omelets can be a scramble. The scrambles have impressive portions, and the seasoning is wonderful. My spouse is quite fond of their biscuits and gravy, and the biscuits are the size of a small plate!Pricing is average, compares with other favorite places.Weekend breakfast times are popular, but this establishment is spacious. We havent waited more than 15 minutes, usually seated within 5 minutes. On nice days the deck seating is a great option, serene and still great service.Service is spectacular, quick refills and friendly staff.
Waitress was great, food tasted good, but an additional 6 percent for what,so you can still underpay your help????? sorry but extra charges on bills cost customers and trying to use your help as excuse. thats sad. that takes food off there table so you can make 6 percent more uh no. i hope ur help quits and i pay enough for food dont need extra HIDDEN charges. i feel sorry for the waitress you are costing them tips
The food is very good, items like the common fried clam strips are executed to the next level. The service that I have had here has always been very good to exceptional. This place is worth the visit.
Dont go here is you have a service animal. The Manager Will told my brother he wasnt allowed to bring in his service dog for his epilepsy because he didnt have a vest. when my brother explained that he didnt need a vest the Manager pulled up a blog from some random site saying he needs a vest. then he said he was calling to cops to have him removed. my brother was very polite. we had 15 people there for a birthday and 30 the year before. we wont be going back
I love this restauraunt for breakfast! I have a hard time not ordering my usual, Salmon eggs benedict! I would give a higher rating because I enjoy eating no where else for breakfast on a weekend; but lately my usual order always comes back served with overcooked eggs.I am not normally one to send food back nor complain but this has happened three times now. This is my justification for my rating.I might be a hypocrite in still going here and ordering the same thing with higher expectatations, but still a great restauraunt and I do not like going anywhere else. Just please work on your eggs!
Fine print on the menu: “All checks have a six percent charge that is not retained by the servers. “. Basically the menu cost six percent more than is listed. The owners are shady. And the food is extremely average.
For two 8 oz sirloin with add-ons and an appetizer it cost me $77 when our water was forgotten for 20 minutes and we were not asked how we wanted our steaks cooked, and the add-ons were wrong. Not a busy time either.
Excellent choices! The beer batter fries are phenomenal and the Dungeness crab and shrimp salad to die for...the 1/2 order is more than enough! Great service, very attentive!
I am a chef I like to eat out alot It was very slow at time I was there about 9am my server was awesome. The pecan chicken was ok sauce to runny way too many capers did have but couple pecans vegis and mash were best all-around I dont think I would really order that dish again but I will be back to give another chance thank you Chef Economides
Sold the Owners a new car and told them we would come in and get PRIME RIB on Tuesday and today is that day! I bet they think we were blowing smoke. Nope! We coming in HOT! Tuesday Prime Rib People!
Third time visiting this restaurant, but there will not be a fourth. Waited over 45 minutes after ordering and still no food. Waitress finally stopped by and said something happened to my daughters order. When the food arrived, two entree’s were cold. Very disappointing.
Awesome food. Absolutely love the sirloin dip, its smothered in tender, juicy steak. Always prepared the way I like it. And their fries are the best Ive ever had.
Love this place. Food always too notch. Crew always friendly, working above and beyond. Atmosphere very relaxing. You must eat here.
Rude staff! Ive Never been treated with such disrespect no chance Ill be going back!! Sad used to be a great local hangout 😢
The last few times I have been very disappointed. They used to have fabulous food and you could depend on always getting a good meal. Im not sure if they have a new cook or what is happening but the last few times the experience has not been good.
Marginal food. High prices. My bbq burger was utterly lacking flavor. For the price of the menu items I expected a better overall experience, and better food. I wont be returning.
Pretentious, overpriced, not worth the quality of the food.I went here twice over the last few years, but ultimately the last time we came in we just left due to their pretentious attitude. You guys arent good enough to warrant such an attitude, you are run of the mill at best.
The attached Sports Bar is fantastic. The service is excellent and we like the menu better than the restaurants menu. The calimari and bacon wrapped scallops are incredibly.
Food was fantastic! Hash browns were genuine and way out of this world!Esther was a very good server.
SOOOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW!! Dont come hungry. Good food but if you are starving go somewhere else. The coffee smells good. The Apple juice is delicious. Ill let you know about the food when it gets here next month.
My husband and I met friends at CCR for many years ... were never made to feel that it was time to leave. Now Im in a Cardiac Recovery Support Group, were meeting at CCR once a month and again, were receiving wonderful service and allowed to linger as long as we need! The chef even accommodates us with special requests. Highly recommend!
Great restaurant. Two menus one steak, burgers etc. The other Asian cuisines both from two separate kitchens.
We have been going to CC for roughly 10 years. Even with the new owners we have not seen a drop in quality at all. I always recommend CC to many who are new to Snohomish or have not been there.Good customer service and quality food.
Ouch, $25 for 2 single-shot gin & tonics made with house gin. When I inquired, was told due to Covid. Unexceptable. I am not the only one that was in sticker shock that night. Havent been back since.
Great food, amazing service and good price point. I will definitely go again.
Weve been here a dozen times or so and will keep coming back. The food is always excellent! Great menu and friendly staff.
We went on Mothers Day and the service was slow, while the food was on the expensive side ($15-20 per plate) for food which is on par with or perhaps below the level of Applebees.I would not recommend or return to this restaurant.
Wow the menu choices are unbelievable and the food is all made onsite, even the desserts!
The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, no matter what we order! Our favorite is them Top sirloin dip sandwiches!
I brought my little girl with me the other day for lunch with a local club and the hostess kindly let my daughter choose a kids book to keep with her during lunch. Often its the little things like that which make a place special.
Service and food were ok, but they add a 6% service charge onto each bill, and it does not go to the servers. Very disingenuous way to charge more then the prices listed on the menu. We will not be back.
Our server was attentive and kind.
Nice hidden location with ample parking. Great selection of food. Good burgers & fun melts & dips. Great atmosphere for conversation, especially on weekends when downtown is overly packed!!!
I wouldnt order the food at old Man Brewery again, the waiter threatened to put his boogers in my food. Flipped me off too. I was teasing him about being slower than the waitresswaitress
One of our favorite spots. The Sirloin dip is awesome and the tartar sauce!
I would recommend this place to any Snohomish local. The restaurant is casual, but the food is of good quality and portions. The menu has variety. I just wish they had more than one daily special.
A favorite breakfast spot for my family and I. Much improved from back in the early 00s when it was over by the banks. Service is very good and the wait staff is excellent. Try the pilchuck scramble
Beautiful inside, friendly, attentive staff and amazing food. Definitely stop here to eat👍
I love coming for breakfast! Everything is always perfectly cooked and delicious
Will was amazing so customer serviceWas amazing. And he was friendly and provide great experience !! Food is very good! Great place!
Lady working tonight took my tab. I had one drink and tipped a dollar. Looked at the tab and said (what no tip when i served you when your obviously intoxicated?) Yeah great staff
Apparently they cant even alter an order of a Monte Cristo because their pre-made in the back so you have to have ham or whatever is on it on it very disgusting please do not recommend to anybody I recommend going to Jakes Cafe which is just down the street and everything is made fresh daily and to your preference of order
Good food. Some what fast just depends on how busy. Ive been here several times and never had a problem. Good is always delicious.
Great restaurant. Awesome new bar right next door. Live music, brewery inside bar, tons of beer on tap, sports bar with TVs everywhere, kitchen in bar, 3 pool tables, darts, golf.
Great spot for casual dinning. We love this place for breakfast and it is usually not to crowded. The biscuits are awesome and huge.
The bar tender was vary rude and continuously hit on my friends and I thro out the night. Slow drink service from the bar tender. Would not recommend.
Excellent food, decent prices, great Hometown restaurant, try it, I know you will love it, nice friendly gals work in the bar and the service is GREAT!!! LOVE IT!!
No bacon on bacon scallops. No broccoli on orange chicken even when listed in menu
Good food with a cozy inviting atmosphere. Service was great!
Amazing. People are personable, quick and easy going. The food is fresh, good and traditionally prepared. Its family friendly and all kinds of people are welcomed.
We sat there for about 20 minutes and the waiter/waitress saw us and didnt come over to us once, there were about 8 other people in the bar and 3 servers. Super bummed. This was the ccr bar.
Pricy burger but it’s good
Food was very good
Really good breakfast, I love the Pilchuck scramble. Nice to go somewhere that has more options than the typical American breakfast items.
Almost everything is made in house and is quality. The bartenders and servers are always kind and considerate.
Great place with good vibes and great food! Will is the best 👌
Great place, best scramble Ive ever had.
Super welcoming atmosphere for everybody! Friendly service and tasty food!
Servers in the bar are AMAZING!!!!
Always a great place to go! Especially the staff are the greatest.
Home town classic!!!! Ive been coming here for more than twenty years!! Love!
Quality of food, at least when my family was there in July 2014, hasnt changed, its outstanding. Please keep providing this kind of excellence!
Delicious food & friendly service.
We like this place very much, ate there several times. Very good food, friendly service, we dont have one complaint.
Collectors had done a great job of updating the menu. Try a steak or steak salad. They do it well!... Or medium...or rare... 😂
Great place pork belly sliders were bomb
They have the best french toast here and breakfast choices on there menu
Always quality food and plenty of diner style (but fancy) options. Kinda pricey, but some excellent seafood options.
Review is for the bar. Fun place to go on a weekend; HEFTY shots, bitchin mac and cheese.
Great place always clean. Service times are always reasonable. I think the prices are fair for the quality and quantity of the food.
The service and food were excellent. The decor is in drastic need of a makeover. Its very outdated and stale!
Enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable. Very friendly staff and willing to take special request.
Super expensive for no reason 30 dollars for a bowl ofPasta
Very Classy restaurant but there is usually a wait to get in. Would recommend!
Small portions, over cooked, bland. Service was poor, there were 3 other tables with people, took 45 min to get drinks, an hour for food.
Best restaurant Ive been too in a long time. Great people! Great food!
Read the fine print they charge a 6% “service charge” retained by the restaurant . It does not go to the server. Not going back
I love the pancakes, my only comment is that the carpet could use a good cleaning.☺
I had the small logger and the value and quality was unmatched!
Decent and enjoyable with adequate service but was very expensive. The bar food was better. Still enjoyable
Always awesome food and service. I eat there as much as I can. Great place.
Great food and nice service
Hair in food, waitress argued, service was slow. Do not eat at this place
Been here a few times and every experience was lovely :)
Just had the best cobb salad of my life.
Delicious food and very attentive server. Will definitely come back often.
We have come here many times and always get great food and great service.
Love Collectors choice! Great music and great food!
Great food and service..... nicely Decorated and very clean. ..... great view of the mountain and river. ....
Could be better but its generally consistent and service is usually good except on Sunday morning when they seem to be a little overwhelmed.
A bt expensive but good food and service! They are amazing with my brother who is special needs and that to me is outstanding!!!!
Great venue, food and service both times we have been
Bloody Mary breakfast
Was a good lunch, food was good service was really good. Over all I would go back .
Exelent rich flavor in all dishes and deserts.Top notch classy hidden spot!
Waited 40 minutes before being acknowledged
Love going here for breakfast! Good food and great service!
Bartenders seemed a little nosy, music wasnt too loud. Drink was tasty
Excellent restaurant with lots of different choices for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Great atmosphere, food & serviceI love the new addition.
