Brilliant Massage & Skin

Just had an amazing massage at brilliant massage and skin! Maria was terrific … I tried cupping and I feel so much better! So grateful to have found this place and meet Maria!! She is so knowledgeable and has years of experience! … I’m visiting Burlington and I would make a special trip just to come back for another treatment!! Thank you!!

Overall not a good experience. The day of my original appointment they called me to cancel the appointment and try to reschedule me to a different day because my masseuse called out that day. They were then able to fit me in the next day at 2 PM. I showed up at 1:45 PM and sat there for 45 minutes until I got in contact with somebody and they told me my other masseuse is no showing me. So they asked to reschedule me later that day and to add on a complementary service for all of this hassle. I had things to do in the afternoon, but I canceled them because I really needed this massage. Mind you since the very first massage that I had scheduled, I requested it not to be a man because I have some past trauma and they told me no problem and that it would be a woman. So I get there later that day and as I walk in a man is waiting for me. Which shocked me and while in the room, he then tells me that the complementary service that I asked for a.k.a. hot stones were not able to be prepped and ready so he was not able to give me the service, (he also didn’t ask if I wanted something to substitute it) which was so disappointing after everything that I’ve gone through and promised a complementary service. Well, by the end of the massage that wasnt the full hour it was supposed to be. I get charged $148. But since I tried to become a member, I got 5% off and it was only supposed to be $116 which I showed a screenshot of. I was really looking forward to becoming a monthly member and for this overall experience to be wonderful but in the end it was dreadful and honestly a little traumatizing.

My wife and I flew into Burlington from Washington, DC and had 2 (90) minute massages with Maria and Fabio - both were AMAZING. Wife and I are both massage therapists and we know. These are pros. They hit the right points and our bodies just relaxed for BOTH of us! We also both had Hydrafacials which were *brilliant! Skin is feeling great. Don’t go anywhere else in Burlington….this even beats 5 Star places I’ve worked at. Don’t walk, run. :)

My partner and I booked a massage class for our anniversary, and would definitely recommend the experience. Raven was an excellent coach, sharing just the right amount of anatomy info, technique, and help in addressing our specific individual needs. He kept it light and fun, while still allowing us to relax and enjoy the massages.

Maria gave me an excellent deep-tissue massage. Worked on my shoulders & I swear I was standing up straighter afterwards. My husband got a deep tissue massage from Christy & said she was excellent as well.

Great experience! Scheduling online was super easy. Parking was good, the building is cute and clean. Maribel was so sweet and had hands of magic. I had a 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend to anyone.

My masseuse was kind and made a big effort to understand what was bothering me and respond with appropriate methods during the massage. She made conversation but not too much and was professional and generous with her knowledge. I would go back sooner if I lived closer but would not hesitate to re-book next time I need a massage!

Mary was amazing! This was my first time here with a very troublesome back and neck. She worked hard to try and understand what my muscles needed tho get MS feeling better. Thank you Mary for such a a great massage and a great experience!

My partner and I did a private 2-person massage class with Mary that ended up being amazing. I constantly ask my partner to give me a shoulder massage because thats where my stress lives and Mary was able to show us more effective ways thats better for both parties. It was so welcoming when it could have been intimidating. Great atmosphere, and Mary was awesome!

I loved coming to this place. The booking was easy, check in and Fabio was wonderful. I really appreciated the space he created to experience whatever was coming up in that moment. I’ll be back for some more de-stressing and relaxation. Thank you!!

Had a 90 min massage with Maria while I was visiting Burlington this weekend. She was AWESOME! Was excited to get a last minute appointment and their prices can’t be beat!

As a newbie to facials, the online “menu” can be quite intimidating. After some thought, I booked the signature HydraFacial with Jenna. She is an amazing esthetician who walked me through the process step by step. She was very thorough and informative. She even showed me what was removed from my face during my service. The room was private, clean and very comfy. I’m sad I waited so many years to pamper myself with this great treatment.

This was by far the best massage I have ever had in my life. Jenna was amazing! She really listened to what I needed. When I left the table I felt like I had woken from a 10 year long coma! Like I had been steam rolled but in the best way.I was will be referring everyone I care about to Jenna !

Jasmine did an incredible job and had such attention to detail when shaping and tinting my brows- true artistry! Will definitely be coming back!

Not only is $80 before tip for a Brazilian wax outrageous (even for the northeast), but I’d hope that since the price is this steep they’d AT LEAST get all of the hairs. I was on a trip to Burlington and was in need of a last-minute Brazilian, so I settled on this place because it was the only place I could find an appointment. My waxer, Jenna, was kind, but I left disappointed and quite frankly, felt extremely ripped off after I realized she had not done a thorough job. The hairs that were left behind weren’t even too short for the wax to grab ahold of—it was just a lack of attention to detail. I’m pretty upset that I paid over $80 for an incomplete job.****To elaborate on my one review, I thought I was happy with the wax prior to leaving the establishment. It wasnt until closer inspection once I was in the privacy of my own hotel room, that I realized there were numerous hairs left behind. I also was not asked if I was happy with the wax job at the end. If I had been asked, and if I had noticed the remaining hairs before I left, I would have absolutely said something.

My massage with Mary was so relaxing and helped my muscles feel better than they have in a long time! I had awful knots in my neck and shoulders that she was able to work out. Definitely recommend if you are in need of a high quality, professional massage!

Therapist was excellent. Before she started she asked clear questions about my goals and incorporated that into the massage. We discussed stress points and joint pain, which the massage addressed. When I left, I felt better than I had I weeks.

I had a 75 minute massage with Jenna and she was able to work out my lower back knots that had been bothering me for days. She was gentle and yet firm at the same time. I felt so much better after the massage and highly recommend Brilliant Massage & Skin in South Burlington. Thanks Jenna! Ill be back.

Left after a 9o minute massage with Maribel and could actually stand up straight! Please ladies and men take the time to take care of yourselves, this was the best birthday gift I could give myself! I’ve been to both locations and prefer the South Burlington one since parking is available. Booking online was easy and text confirmation was available as well as a follow up text survey. Payment by phone made checkout quick and simple and you had the option of saving your card on file for future bookings. The massage experience was incredible. Not your typical fluff and lotion “hippy dippy” massage. This was a deep tissue massage that provided actual relief from sciatica and good long term results. Therapists are well trained and experienced. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for in my opinion. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get body work done.

I was lucky enough to book Maria very last minute because I was having a lot of back pain. She was hands-down, the best Masseuse I’ve ever had. She knew so much about pressure points and we did cupping and she was so incredibly nice. Her movements were unbelievable and both relaxing while also being a deeper tissue massage so that way it actually loosened my muscles.

Had a couples massage done and it was one of my best experiences. We had Mary and Courtney. Mary was working with me and was very knowledgeable, friendly and spot on with pressure and attending to painful areas. We both left feeling great and will be back for sure!

I am a MT and sometimes struggle to get out of my head when receiving massage. This was *no problem* with Valentina. She delivered a solid 90 minute full body massage with just the right amount of pressure and attention to my trouble areas. Highly recommend.I also highly recommend Sam for waxing. She was comforting, professional, and coached me through aftercare.

Mary saved my weekend! I flew in to visit family and my back went out. I could barely walk up a flight if stairs. After my massage I was able to go on a hike and other adventures. Mary really knows her stuff.

Mediocre massages and a tooth whitening service that is pricey and does *not* deliver *any* results as described in their advertising. Adding insult to injury, you literally apply the gel (that doesn’t work) yourself. Provider does nothing for you but give you a cankersore with a plastic fitting and leaves the room. Will never return. There are so many other individuals to get massages from around this community who are talented and warm. This business is replying asking me to stop “spamming” them with reviews to locations I’ve never been to. I’ve been to both and it’s the same proprietor.

Excellent massage with Maria. Very relaxing. At the end noticed a knot at my shoulder and offered hot cupping therapy. I was skeptical but worked wonders! Weeks of pain reduced by 99% afterwards!

We had an incredible couples massage with Amber and Lacy. Both therapists were very attentive to our individual needs, working on an old injury for one of us and some ongoing tension for the other. We left feeling incredibly relaxed, and it’s definitely a highlight of our trip! Will absolutely be going again the next time we’re in Burlington.

I scheduled my first massage with brilliant and was not disappointed. My scheduled therapist had a family emergency so they had to cancel, but they immediately rescheduled for me the same day and got me in with Emilia instead! Emilia was super kind and considerate of the fact that I was nervous and offered a calm and relaxing environment during the whole appointment! I am excited to go back!

On September 26th, I went in for a massage with Valentina. It was my second massage here. The first time, there was a billing issue, and I got billed for add-ons that were supposed to be free, but my massage with Amber was good. So I went back in September, and it had been about 6 months. I had Valentina, and unfortunately, she injured my shoulder. She worked the muscle so hard and put so much pressure that Im now needing physical therapy. Its been 3 months, and Im still experiencing extreme physical pain from the massage injury, and my physical therapist has said I may never be 100% again. When you pay over $100 for a massage & give a 30% tip, the baseline price is more than most local places you expect, at the very least, to not be injured. Im a plus-size woman and know that theres a stereotype that larger bodies require more intense massage. However, thats not true. Im now afraid to ever get another massage. After this and the previous billing issues, I will never be back to Brilliant.

Maria takes care of me, I visit Patchens road and I go for a Brazilian bikini wax. The establishment is clean, She is always extremely nice and makes me feel welcomed and comfortable. I absolutely recommend this place! I can’t wait to schedule my 3rd wax and a massage

Great massage therapists at Brilliant, each with their own expertise. I had the pleasure of having Luis today for my massage, very through and worked out the stubborn tension/knots in shoulder blades with movement techniques. Highly recommend!

I’ve had two massages with Isaac at their South Burlington vacation and both have been phenomenal. He takes the time to really listen to what you are looking for from the session and customizes the massage accordingly. He also has an amazing ability to notice how the body responds to the massage and I find that he always knows when he’s hit a sore area without me telling him.I’ve struggled to find a massage therapist that can really dig into my muscles enough to fully relax them - but Isaac can! If you’re like me, whose body is one big muscle knot, I highly highly recommend going here.Also, if you’re nervous (like I was) about seeing a male massage therapist, you don’t have to worry about that with Isaac - I have always felt incredibly safe and he has great vibes. Can’t wait for my next massage!

Isaac was amazing. He took note of the ailments and medical concerns I have due to past surgeries but was very firm in the areas that highly needed it however. Will absolutely recommend for those who are not afraid to ask for pressure! Having this newer location in South Burlington is closest to home with easy parking, and a nice updated property and massage rooms. Will be back soon!

Jolita, a very skilled massage therapist herself, has created a wonderful business full of talented massage therapists. As a massage therapist myself I love knowing that I have a place to go and get a thorough muscle tension releasing massage. The Patchen Road location is easy to find, has great free parking out back. Inside you will find the space is warm and inviting. Jolita has done a wonderful job renovating the new location. I can’t wait for my next session!😁
