My daughter and I went in for some drinks and just hangout. Maybe play pool or Karaoke. We didnt have food so I cant speak to that. Turned out they had live music, awesome I love it! My daughter spoke to me between sets and we got shushed. Like really, were in a bar! Im all for being curtious to the band, but dude it was so uncomfortable in there. No one allowed to speak at all, the DJ told us to go outside to socialize. We tabbed out and left, too bad too, the band wasnt bad at all.

Went today to watch Royals. 2 people in there.Got a beer.After that bartender or what ever she isNever looked up from her phone!Think her name was Lexie!Would be nice getting paid to be on your phoneNever be back there again!No wonder they have no crowd on Sat afternoon$$

I enjoyed myself at this bar! The guy bartender was very attentive and had everyone smiling! He made it so welcoming, and I will for sure be back! 😄

The place doesnt serve food but they didnt mind you calling Uber eats or anything like that the staff is friendly the atmosphere was great vides

My friends and I went for a late night drink, we did not eat. Great atmosphere it was only Tuesday night so it wasnt super busy but there was a good handful or two of people in there everybody was laughing and talking having a good time The place was clean and the bathroom was clean. I would definitely recommend the place to my friends or family. The only thing I could say is a critique is that the bartender could sharpen her skills slightly her drinks were fine and she was probably tired it was at the end of the night but she needs to make a little more eye contact with people that are waiting to let them know she acknowledges them but shes just busy and a few other things I like that I noticed but she made great drinks and was nice and like I said she was probably tired it was towards the end of the night but Ill definitely be going back again.

I made a mistake and caused a problem with another male customer. I left so the employees could resolve the situation. About 20 minutes later I called the bar asking if I could come back and close my tab and tip the bartender. When I returned customers ran me off even after I told them all I wanted to do was tip the bartender and leave. They told me there will be a 20% gratuity. Tipping such a small amount after spending several hours at the bar is an insult to myself and the bartender. Earlier in the night I tipped the DJ $40. I like his music choice between karaoke singers. The bartender would have received at least that much. My total tab was at most $80 (That is close to the most I have ever spent at the bar. On a single night. Excluding tips) the “Jenna customers” are still harming the bar.Without them you may get a few more like me and a few big spender’s. My tips make it worth while for your employees to work there. If they outspend and out tip me then I understand but I really doubt it. Im really mad that customers not employees prevented me from leavening a reasonable tip for August. I really like August

If your going to be a karaoke bar then why have a video between every singer??? No our cup of tea. Been here a few times and both were this way.Dj and management drunk or high or both as well.Wont be back.

I was sitting by myself when 3 or 4 religious cult members sit next to me. Next thing I know they are trying to fight me saying they will pull me out into the parking lot. I quickly left my table and went inside. They followed me in. I pull out a small pocket knife without opening it in fear of my safety. The group trying to hurt me runs over to management, (the lady that’s never working and always singing terrible karaoke) they tell her I’m threatening them with a knife and she calls police on me to get me permanently banned while keeping the troublemakers in. Basically at Bugsy you can get anyone banned if you tell a story. Definitely not a safe place to bring your family or friends. Terrible service. Terrible management.

I absolutely love this bar and frequently come here, however the guy that DJs on Friday nights is horrible. He leaves after putting on every single song and gets drunk (noticeably) throughout the night. Almost every time we come here that DJ leaves for 10 + minutes even though we paid to have songs for karaoke. I would 10/10 recommend this bar any other night.

Love this bar! Awesome drink specials, you cant beat the prices anywhere in town! They play the hottest music and take requests too. The best karaoke bar around with the biggest song select available. The staff is friendly and you are guaranteed to have a great time!!

The bartender had to pull her phone out to even mix simple drinks, not enough staff, Female Dj doesn’t tell people to clap for EVERY person that sings a song even if they weren’t that great ( whole point in a bar). Also got our song skipped so I’m not going back. Friends is way better than this place.

My favorite place in Springfield for karaoke so far. Not too busy as to only ever get one song, but not slow enough that one person has to carry the bar. Drinks were a bit on the higher end for price. But all in all I really had fun

I brought some new business to them last Saturday evening. 3 excited locals that wanted to try it out.The owner and staff were extremely rude and the bartender stole one of their phones and we had to fight to get it back.The Kareoke sound set up is horrible.Definitely not recommended for anyone that wants a quality karaoke bar

Great location, but Im really not a fan of their stereo equipment, they have a great DJ, and a great bartender and some great servers, but the sound equipment leaves a lot to be desired. Tinny and inaccurate sound reproduction that makes good singers sound marginal and bad singer... well, you know, youve been to a karaoke bar. The atmosphere is cool though, very strongly firefighter themed. With ladders hiding everywhere, and the paint scheme suggesting fire. Its really a cool place. I just wish they had better sound equipment.

This bar is absolutely amazing!! Every time I am in here Im always having a great time! the karaoke is always right on point and every song selection is always available! The staff is very friendly and i always feel welcome while I am in here! Great drink specials and so affordable!

Liquid marijuana was AMAZING The environment was great, there was karaoke , and lots of laughs. Nobody was rude no matter if you sang good or bad! I really enjoyed it! I will go again in the future!

Bartender was friendly and provided great service. The bar, seating area and restroom are all very clean. Would like to see some great live music rather than karaoke but this was on a Sunday so possibly they dont have it the other days.

Well tonight was my first time hanging out at the establishment it wasnt that bad and I actually had a lot of fun. I dont really go out that much so this was definitely a new experience for me but when closing time came around the corner, I was assaulted with a thick glass buy a random person in the bar due to his girlfriend thinking I called her a female dog and it just so happened to be that his girlfriend was the niece of the owner of the bar.

I love this place! Bugsys is my go-to for drinks no matter what day of the week it is. The bartenders are so nice and charismatic. Karaoke is always a blast, and their drink specials are usually great as well. Here they have a tabletop sized Jenga and a beer pong table along with outdoor seating as well as indoor seating and a couple pool tables. The bathrooms are well-maintained, actually this whole establishment is well maintained and very clean. Definitely would recommend this if youre looking for a fun night out on the weekends especially!

Very clean inside. Wait staff and bartenders were great and very friendly. Kareoke DJ was not very friendly or helpful. Played too much music and did very little to move his singers to the stage. Seemed very disinterested in his job. Wont go back.

I love singing karoke.... unfortunately this one has lost my respect and gratitude... this is the 4th time that they have sped through there karoke song.. playing songs 3x faster than when they are produced by the artists who originally sang those songs.. always the same crowd... very judgmental... If feeling like going to a bar on the Southside of Springfield i recommend Sky Box or Silver Leaf this bar is not a good one for people from out of town. Sorry for anyone who goes there..

When its not busy its fun. When it is busy the wait times are horrible. Bartenders arent that great at mixed drinks or even knowing drinks. The karaoke is fun, but one of the DJs ALWAYS gets up to sing which makes it harder for everyone else to get the chance. Wednesdays are Beer Pong nights so theres hardly any room at all to move around. The credit/debit cards left for open tabs, are indeed, way too close and within reach of anyone sitting at the end of the bar. When no one is singing, the music is up so loud that you cant even have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. The owner will park her SUV at the entrance, making it inconvenient for people getting picked up or dropped off also for people walking in and out as you have to maneuver around it.

This place is super cool! The bartenders are super nice and approachable, it’s well kept up inside (super clean). I love that they have pool tables and shuffle board and the music is on point! Definitely going back!

They were super nice and understanding about our bachelorette party. They catered to the designated drivers, which I was one. They made special drinks for us, non alcoholic of course. They played all the songs we requested, and were great host.

Bugsys is always a good time. Ive been going there since they were downtown. The crowds vary. Some nights its alot of fun and other nights it is a busy. However, you can always get up for kareoke multiple times and they do their best to get any song you could want to sing. The staff are always friendly. You can go there by yourself or with a group and there is a good chance you will make new friends. Its also a nice location on the south side.

Female bartender realized I got money and started to try and charge me 5 dollars for Malibu and coke, gave her $20 got$5 back. When I went to talk to her she ran off to other end of bar. I tip them $5 to $10 at time. They shouldnt be ripping one of their best customers off. USMC dont get faded that easy!

$10 to drink until your hearts content! That alone is worth 5 stars. Throw in awesome music, beautiful people and some kick ass Karaoke and you have the place dreams are made of! Go here!

This bar feels like a frat house. I enjoyed the fact that the music videos played on tvs atound the bar that went with the songs being played. Most of the bar is taken up by beer pong tables, and a small amount of mis-matched seating. Great if you are looking for the party atmosphere, maybe just not for me. Staff was friendly but noticed that credit cards being held for tabs were left very close to the seating at the bar within arms reach.

We go there sometimes, very cool they have karaoke, the dj is very friendly, I think his name is Tj. Highly recommend if your looking for hangout spot.

Takes 20+ minutes to get a drink. Even longer for food. Took 30 minutes for my friend to get just a plain ole dr pepper. We had a birthday party there as our other location fell through. No one came to check on us to make sure we were doing ok. The owner (at least i think she was) came over and ask to post a picture of us on Facebook. But we were not too thrilled.

Great plce . Played beer pong prior night and that was as well fun. My husband lost his phone and it was returned back , so honest good American folks. Totally going again.

Alicia is an amazing bartender and has a smile for everyone. The drinks were a great price and so many choices. Loved this place and well be back!

Great place to go whether you want to keep to yourself or join the fun. Generally has a good population, but it doesnt get overcrowded. Two pool tables, $1/ game.

Bugsys is my home away from home. Im so thankful for the lifelong friends Ive made because of this place. Wayna (the owner) makes sure every customer feels like family... which is why it has such a Cheers vibe. Bugsy Malones karaoke is the best and so unique. The drinks specials are great... but the atmosphere is priceless.

Lots and lots of rap, which I like rap, however when someone would request a 80s or 90s karaoke song and sing the entire place would sing along, dance, clap, and rally get into it. It really begs the question that why does the Bugsy Malone bar have the decor of a firehouse and play rap as the DJ music and nobody is much into it, but when the oldies are on the patrons get into it?!?!?! Hummmmmmmmm!

Ive been going to Bugsy Malones since 2006 and its right in my back yard now at the South location. I enjoy the great atmosphere and the place is well kept up and not run down like most bars in town.

It was TERRIBLE! We got about 9:00 pm on a Saturday night. There were about 8 people in the whole place, including staff. No one acknowledged us, the bartender was playing around with his friends. We left, never to return again.

Came here for the Blue Room open mic comedy night.Had a great time.

Small, crowded, its just a bar. Karaoke competition was obviously rigged, and I didnt even know anyone competing to skew my judgement.
