Lanie was very pleasant and welcoming. She made me feel very comfortable and the wax that she used is awesome because it wasn’t as painful as I expected it to be. The place is clean and I love that they give after care instructions and goodies for you. They also have a small parking lot which is great. Will definitely be coming back.

All the ladies are polite and experienced at waxing. I have had my stubborn- haired ears and cheeks cleaned. They are very accommodating with appointments. I have been a regular at their shop

Service: Brazilian WaxingI had an excellent experience with Walquiria. She made sure that the temperature of the wax was comfortable enough on my skin. She minimized the pain of the waxing process too by putting pressure on the freshly waxed spot. I also was thankful that she got rid of some of my ingrowns. I appreciate her taking that extra step during my session. I could tell she was highly skilled, caring and friendly. I’ll definitely be back again. Thank you.

So glad to have found The House of Waxing. They offer so many services to fit everyone’s needs. Including waxing, sugaring, facials, lash lifts, eyebrow lamination, etc.. My first time here I got a facial and I have to admit, I wasn’t very impressed with it at first. I didn’t like how my skin looked the next day. I voiced my complaint and Sharon listened and invited me back in to have a look. I met with another lady who applied something to my face and told me my face will look worse before it looks better. Luckily, she was right and my face was on fleek. I didn’t know if I wanted to give them another shot but I did. This time around I got a lash lift. I was so impressed with how it turned out! My daughter got her lashes done and her brows waxed. She too was very happy with how everything turned out!The place itself is very cute. It gives me home vibes. They offer complimentary drinks and they have a small retail section. There is parking and booking an appointment is easy online.I’m looking forward to trying another service! The skin bleaching is calling me..

I got a Brazilian wax here. I’ve had many waxes at many salons in my life and this was one of my best experiences. Salon was clean and chic with very thoughtful touches. Laine was a total sweet pro. I just scheduled my second appointment, again with Laine, and looking forward to having a beach ready bikini area.

What a fabulous spot! Sharon was amazing - warm, welcoming and kind. I recently had surgery so she made sure I was comfortable on the waxing table. First time coming here. Alejandra did my eyebrows and eyelashes. For my eyebrows we did a brow lamination, tint, and shaping with waxing. For my eyelashes we did a lash lift. My eyebrows are usually notoriously uneven and patchy and my eyelashes are normally flat and downward pointing. After we were done, my eyebrows were so nicely full and my eyelashes were so curly. The place is chic and new, very clean. The staff is so friendly. I cant wait to come back for their other services.

Omg Sharon was ridiculously amazing. I have literally been putting off finding a new waxer for 3 years because I was so afraid to try someone new. I had been driving to Beverly Hills from Lomita since 2018 to stay with my waxer, but in 2020 I had kids and life got too busy, so I basically had stopped going for my Brazilian wax. A Brazilian wax is not something you just go to any random person for. But I finally got so tired of the au natural life and decided to try the House of Waxing. They booked me with Sharon. She was so kind and professional. She was not fazed at all to wax me and not only has it been a minute, but I am also 9 months pregnant with my 3rd! And I thought I would be more sensitive because of the hormones so I was so apprehensive about how it was going to feel. Turns out, I had nothing to worry about! Sharon was so good with her technique. She was super fast and thorough, and it didn’t even hurt as much as I remember it hurting when I would go to my Beverly Hills lady. Like I barely even flinched, and Sharon had a LOT to wax. I’ve never used soft wax either so that was different—normally my lady uses hard wax with paper strips but I think that actually hurts more because I have never gotten through a Brazilian wax as chill as this one was. Sharon was super cool, she was able to chat with me the entire time she was working (but not be distracted), and afterwards I saw the results and I was amazed. It was really miraculous. I felt like my old self again, and I will totally be back to see her again in 5 weeks or so! Thank you Sharon! I wish I had found you years ago.

My first experience here was really great. It was so comfortable and clean, she offered me snacks and something to drink - and even played 90s R&B music videos for me to watch. The waxing was painless and my skin is so smooth. I couldn’t leave without booking my next appointment, and I won’t be going anywhere else from now on.

I had such a wonderful dermaplane facial with Sharon! Her demeanor immediately makes you feel comfortable and the overall experience was great! She takes her time, explains what she’s doing, answers any questions you have, and the whole time you’re feeling relaxed. I was driving down Crenshaw Blvd and saw the sign for The House of Waxing. I thought, Wow! I havent had my face waxed since 2020! I called right away and got a same day appointment with Laine. She was very professional and gentle. Ive been to other places that totally rip my skin, but this place is a nice experience. The prices were right, and there was no waiting. I needed a Brazilian wax same day and was able to book an appointment with Sharon at The House of Waxing. It was my first time here and the place is beautiful and clean. Parking is easy right in there own private lot off the street. I have not had a wax in awhile and Sharon was very patient, walked me through the whole process and made sure it was not too painful. The service was quick and she is a pro. I will definitely be returning for another wax soon.

I was so SCARED! Ive never had a Brazilian Wax before so I had planned to arrive early so that I could purchase the numbing cream. As usual time for away from me so I arrived just in time to begin my waxing treatment. Lani was AMAZING! It was no where near as painful as I imagined! Absolutely horrible service! I went once and actually had considered returning at some point. I had scheduled an appointment a month ago, I had to come in work today from 8-5:45 in Orange County I received no text confirmation, no email remainder like normal business do. What I did get was a $75 NO SHOW receipt emailed today. This is a horrible way of starting a new business. Even my hair salon charges $10 no show fee. Life happens and today I was scheduled longer than I expected. However not even a courtesy call to warn me. I didn’t even know they kept my credit card information from a month ago! Be careful going to this place make sure they don’t do this to you. Needless to say they lost a customer forever.

Very happy with eyebrow waxing service. Eyebrows were mapped out and time was spent to ensure they look great! $35 is a bit pricy for eyebrow wax since will have to come back again in 3-4 weeks for clean up but they are even and shape is perfect!!!
