Sand and Sea Spa

I was looking for a new massage therapist and after reading good reviews about sand and spa I thought it would give it a try. I booked with Coco and I’m so glad I did. I have been to her several times now and every time she has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend her for your next massage.

I love getting massages here! Clean, relaxing environment with soothing music. I’ve seen 2 different masseuses and both were outstanding, Rose and June. Parking is easy which is a big plus! Also, booking online makes it convenient.

Giving 3 star because the rooms could definitely be nicer and beds could be updated, BUT 5 stars for my masseuse. Her name was Soraya, and she gave me by far the best prenatal massage I have had this entire pregnancy, and I’ve had quite a few. She worked all my muscles, joints, and sore/stiff areas. Perfect amount of pressure! Massaged the full 60 mins. I will definitely be going back to her!!Should also mention my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Swedish massage as well. I just can’t remember the lady’s name!

I drove down to LA to visit a friend and my hip and IT band was super tight. I mentioned this to her and she said, lets book you an appointment with Sonia. I got in the next day. I really just wanted a deep tissue massage along the right side of my body--hip to calf. Some places you will go and they will just do their own thing. But she listened to me (huge points!). She started off the massage with her feet (there are bars above the table for her to hold onto). She really got into the muscles and started working out the tightness. She then used her hands to relieve the tightness in such a deep and meaningful way. She really is amazing at her job. She is a gift for those who live near Torrance. The spa is in a nondescript strip mall and its very clean and utilitarian. But the wonders she works on ones body is amazing. I get a lot of massages and this one was one of the best! If not, the best! Go see Sonia!

I have been coming here for the last 3 years and could not be more grateful to have found Alisa and this wonderful spa. All the services I’ve received from Sand and Sea spa have been delivered with pure effort and love. Whenever my body or skin needs a reset I am so delighted to be healed by Alisa and her wonderful staff. Alisa thoroughly explains her procedures and studies her products with genuine passion, adapting to your skins needs. I strongly recommend her naturopathic facials and the prices are more than fair compared with holistic procedures:) love ! The spa is very clean and comfortable.

This place is across the street from the Ramada Torrance hotel, which makes it convenient for anyone who is staying there.I called and was able to book a massage same-day, which I greatly appreciate!PROS- Price. This facility charged a lot less than surrounding places. I was able to get a 90-minute combination massage for $65 after a $10 off check-in offer through Yelp. Thats normally what Id pay for only 60 minutes elsewhere.- Massage. The massage was good. My therapist was Stefany and she seemed competent. My massage lasted the full amount of time and was thorough, including a wonderful foot massage. Stefany provided a choice of lotion or oil and also used hot towels throughout the massage.- Cleanliness. The facility appeared clean and looked pleasant.- Availability. As mentioned above, I was able to book same-day without any problems.CONS- Noise. The treatment areas are not separate rooms; rather, all treatments are happening in the same, giant room separated by partitions. The stalls have an open top, so you can hear EVERYTHING that is going on in any of the treatments and at the front desk. When someone coughed in another treatment room, it sounded like theyd coughed right in my ear.I deal with pain and have had dozens of massages over the years. This is the noisiest massage Ive ever had, which is something I do not particularly like. However, I was still satisfied because the low price made up for the noise and my main concern had been to reduce pain, which the massage was able to do successfully.If you are worried about noise, Sand and Sea might not be the best place for you. If you are looking for a good massage at an affordable price and dont care about noise, you should give Sand and Sea a try.

Best massages I have had in a long time. Both gals I have seen are highly skilled, clean and polite. Try to schedule with Ing from Thailand, and ask for a true Thai massage session. She is there four or five days a week and demonstrates a serious natural empathy that she says is based in the Thai belief that massage is a necessary part of maintaining physical and mental balance. Relaaaaaaaax!

I wish I could have experienced their service. Someone needs to teach them how to run a business. Here is some advice. Answer you phone! If you re not going to answer the phone, at least have a message that tells the customer who they are calling. Answer emails! Finally, be open during listed business hours. I tried to go to his place for a week. They never answered the phone, or responded to email. I finally showed up at 10 AM one morning for a walk in, the business hours listed are 9AM - 9PM on Google for Sun., and guess what they werent open. They may give great massages, but Ill never know because it was futile to try an make an apt., or walk-in. Its too bad really, because I live in the area, and am looking for a place to go to regularly. Way to much effort for a customer to give you my business.

Just enjoyed a wonderful massage. My therapist used a lovely arnica infused massage oil that left my tired sore muscles so relaxed!

I have been coming here since they opened as Sand and Stone. Looks like ownership has recently changed, hence tbe new name. They have introduced a new pricing policy. If you pay by credit or debit card there is a $2 surcharge. In my opinion these types of charges should be pre-factored into the price.

Scheduling was prompt and easy, and i found this shop to be very clean and friendly. I had a great massage from Steffany. Great prices!
