Massage Envy

This review is for management of this location. I have been calling for 2 weeks trying to get help with my account. After having an account with them for six years, I had to cancel recently. Shortly after I canceled, I found out I was pregnant. I tried to call and have them transfer my last credit to my husband, since I was denied service because I was pregnant. I called and spoke to the front desk many times and was reassured I would be getting a call later on in the day. However, no one ever contacted me, and now my credit is expiring and I will lose out on the money I paid. As someone who was a loyal client for 6 years, I shouldn’t be working this hard to get my last credit transferred. Not only was this a waste of money, but a waste of time. Shame on you for making someone have to struggle this hard to get respect after being a loyal customer for so long. I warn anybody about signing up for a membership, as they do not take you, your time, or your money seriously.

I am so thankful for the 2 Massage Therapists that have helped me survive and deal with my chronic pain over the past 5 years - Freddy and Shannon. I need really deep tissue work and both of these PHENOMENAL therapists are so skilled at finding and working out the exact trigger points, knots, pinched nerves and sciatic pain that I’m suffering from each time they see me. They each have made such a difference in my life and my ability to get through some of my really bad days. In addition to the fantastic work they do on me, Shannon is so cool and easy to connect with, and Freddy is kind and caring. I’m so thankful for both of them and can’t say enough about how amazing they are!! God bless them both and the staff that makes my appointments possible. Thank you!!!!!

Didn’t even make it in for a service, had to call a million times, no one answers the phones. Prices are ridiculous, when asking about the aromatherapy it’s premade blends (not customizable like other places) and it’s over $10 for them to put a few drops of it into the oil! They say they have hot stones online but hardly any therapists actually do it. I just don’t see how this place is running. For how much they cost it should be way better customer service and higher quality add ons.

I am in town for a conference and had a little time before it started. I called in and was able to get in due to a cancellation and it was AMAZING! I had Tiffany who has been there for 15 years and she really has healing hands! I even picked up some self healing pressure point balls that can be heated or cooled and a hook based on recommendations. Would absolutely recommend!

I dont know.Ive been to this place a couple times since Ive been living in the area; I treat myself on my birthday.My first massage was better than my recent one. Neither guy focused on the areas I requested. They were more interested in talking.Im not going to complain, be rude, and say, Hey, Ole Boy, how about you just shut your face and work my calves and shoulders, eh?Who does that?Everytime I went to pay I was always pressed to buy oils, or a package, become a member!Hello, I just want to pay and leave. . .I dont recall if they have military discounts.

Iliana or something sounding similar, very rude and tasteless. I had to cancel last minute to take my dog to the emergency vet. I asked if it would be possible to wave the 50% charge for having to reschedule considering the circumstances - which for the record I pulled something in my back and needed this massage, but my dog possibly having a broken back took priority . I completely understand any business with a strict cancellation policy so it didnt bother me a whole lot when she stated that. HOWEVER, professionalism and class would have made her mouth stop after that. Instead, Iliana decided to be condescending and tacky while she dragged out how the staff needs to still make money, because this is how they make their living, you know so they can live. She repeated this 3-4 times with the same condescending tone. Her lack of empathy and tackiness in a moment she could have been a professional representation of Massage Envy is why myself and my family will never come to this location and will be canceling our subscription/monthly passes.

It’s been a while since I’ve experienced an excellent service. Front desk associates were the friendliest and attentive people, the location was spotless, organized and even decorated! Genevieve is so lovely, professional and kind. She has given me the best massage I have ever had and I’ve had quite a few, she was making sure I was alright with the pressure and letting me know what she was working on during my 90 minute massage. I most definitely will be coming back!! Thank you, you’re the best!

I have been seeing Danielle for over a year! Her massages get better and better, and they were already awesome! Even with the temp at 108 yesterday, she used firm pressure the whole time. Along with an excellent massage, Danielle is always patient, kind and caring! I highly recommend her!

Let me start by saying who doesnt love a good massage? However not all massage places are created equal. And experiences vary from location to location even within franchises. This is the exact reason for my review. Massage envy foothills location has 2 of the best employees Danielle the therapist and Kelly C. the receptionist are both amazing. Danielle always leaves me completely relaxed and refreshed. Kelly C. goes above and beyond to make sure I have the needed enhancements that leave me feeling my best, not to mention she always has kind words to say. I swear she never has a bad day. Anyway if you are looking for the best spot, look no further. Thanks guys

While the people that work there are nice the company is awful. You would think they would give time to use credits. They do but if you miss the date too bad. $75 out the window and there’s no getting it back. Why massage envy? You should be more accommodating rather than just trying to make money. Don’t get scammed.

Hello, I had a scheduled massage today that was scheduled 2 months ago. I confirmed the appointment yesterday via text, I filled out the Covid form the day of my scheduled appointment. I showed up for my 1.5 hour massage and was told I did not have an appointment. I was informed that the manager, James Leader removed me from the schedule hours before my scheduled appointment for no reason. Did not bother to text or call that he cancelled my appointment. I would like a response.Mathew Potter responded to my dilemma this evening. He was kind and understanding! I applaud his efforts and will continue my membership with ME! Jessica was amazing! She gave me great recommendations for my skin type including doing a chemical peel and Im so happy with the results already. She was very kind and also made sure I was comfortable with the amount of layers we were putting on my skin. I would 100% recommend Jessica and will continue booking appointments with her for facials!

Had a bad experience the first time but didnt want to be too quick to judge but had even worse experience the next time. I think that is why they always have appointments available with some of their massage therapists as early as next day. Money wasted !

Nice people and place but Its been a nighmare trying to book sessions. Ive been unable to use accululated sessions and they expect me to continue paying every month for the priveledge of lower hourly rates. I gave a session to my girlfriend who showed up only to be told the person she scheduled with was out sick that day. I gave sessions to both my daughters during the holidays. One actually had a massage but the other was sent home because her scheduled provider wasnt in. No luck rescheduling so far. Should I pay another $90 to have a chance of benefit from the $300 worth of unused sessions? Seems like good money after bad. The manager keeps talking about benefits of membership as if I might be interested in something other than resolving a problem. In order to enjoy these amazing benefits I must first bring my account into good standing by paying for another session and then pay $20 a month in order to compete for times to use them. Stress reduction has never been so stressfull but writing this actually helped me realise that throwing good money after bad simply isnt an option.Dear Tucson Foothills Massage Envy manager...take yourself & friends to an amazing dinner on the money I wasted on unavailable service. You can now afford Wild Garlic Grill on my dime! The food is amazing and they never over promise or under deliver.All The Best,John

Tiffany is an outstanding massage therapist! I hesitate to share this, as I fear I’ll never be able to get an appointment with her again. She is smart, kind, very funny, and listens to my requests or concerns and responds accordingly. She always applies the right amount of pressure, and whatever issues I may be feeling in my body are resolved by the end of our session together. I respect her and her knowledge and ability very much. All of the front desk staff are polite and helpful, as well.

Front desk lady was organized and pleasant and Amber does excellent massage work. She really addressed some tendon issues in my arms and explained how my elbows were being tweaked through my shoulders and back. Felt relaxed and taller after her work!

Aaron is one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve had. Knowledgeable, easy to be around and I felt very comfortable. I leave feeling like a brand new younger version of myself and by my next appt can’t wait to get back in. My neck and shoulders wouldn’t be the same if I hadn’t ran across such a great masseur.

I personally had Amares for my first session with Massage Envy. In a nutshell, she did an incredible job. I have chronic lower back pain and she was able to alleviate that along with the stress I carry in my neck and shoulders almost entirely. She also has a lot of experience in many fields of massage therapy, and that fact alone helped me trust the process from the start. Jessica is incredible with treating my skin. She always listens to what I need and does a great job of making the facial effective and also relaxing. Literally I’ve had the worst daily headaches from muscle tension. Shannon easily found the pressure point that was causing me pain and immediately gave me relief. She also advised me on techniques to practice at home for outside of session time. Loved the entire experience

Vince always is professional and provides exceptional quality. He communicates back my expectations before every session and during to ensure I get the best results. Danielle was able to find the trigger spots in my neck and back that I needed worked. She checked in with me to ensure that the pressure was correct and that I was comfortable on the massage table. All in all a great job. I would definitely recommend her!

Had a very decadent day with Jordan for a massage and Jessica for a facial afterward. All I can really say is: Dream Team! Both of them are highly effective, skilled, and great professionals. Sometimes Im feeling chatty and Jessica has been delightful about it. This time I literally fell asleep after the body work with Jordan, and she was totally great about that, too. I prefer deep tissue and an aggressive approach for both services, so if thats your thing too, then I highly recommend a back-to-back with these two!

I have just moved from Reno, where it has been next to impossible to book services for which I have long paid with my membership. I am more than delighted to have had both massage and facial this week and to have repeat performances in two weeks. Staff was friendly, competent, and refreshingly available.

I’ve really enjoyed every experience at this location, but this review is about the therapist (but I don’t have the option to select “therapist”). Every time I have a massage from Jordan, it is an experience and true therapy for my body, mind and soul. He really listens to what your needs are, where you have pain and is very intuitive about how to work on it. He’s a pleasure to work with, always respectful and puts everything into his time working on you!

My appointment was at 8 pm. After introduction, we probably did not get started until approximately 8:05. Genevieve applied good pressure. She continued to ask if the pressure was satisfactory. She did run out of time to do my legs and feet. She stopped after 50 minutes. She probably had another appointment in 10 minutes. She need time to prepare the massage table for the next client. This is not a 60 minute massage.Thank you

Genevieve was wonderful. She really listened to my areas of concern and addressed them well. She was kind, professional and focused to the point. I have tried many massage therapists at this location and have been searching for someone like Genevieve!

I’ve tried three locations on the NW side of Tucson and it’s hard to find a good massage therapist and clinic. Some locations play low quality music that is not really soothing at all, basic flute music. Other places have bells and whistles but poor quality massages. This location seems to have the best experience and massages so far. Anna Maria is listed as soft/medium touch but she does a pretty firm/deep massage… better than any of the others I’ve had. My experience was better than perfect for what I needed coming out of an exhausting workout session. I recommend the muscle therapy add-on for the heating and cooling affect. I’ll be returning to this location again soon. Awesome job! Great clinic! Better experience by the staff members and better massage than when I was at a spa at a resort in Sedona!

Melissa went above and beyond. She got me signed up for the membership, explained everything in great detail, and answered all my questions. She was very up-beat and calm. I had Carolyn as my therapist. She was also great. She hit all my spots with the pressure requested and was very relatable.

I have neck issues and the special 1/2 hr treatment I had on my neck really helped. I need to go back at least 1x a week for a while to see if it can get better. Plus they had a special plan that I could use that cut my treatments in half money wise. I’m happy about that.Vicente did a great job helping me out.

I showed up early for my appointment at 7:30 PM, my massage did not start until at least 7:40PM and then the lady concluded early at around 8:22PM. I essentially got a 45 min massage for my “hour” massage scheduled. Additionally, I was given a gift card (with gratuity included) for an hour massage but assuming because they increase prices recently, they said no gratuity was on the card and I had to pay gratuity myself.

Went in there with so much neck/shoulder pain and after my 90 minute session with amber, I finally felt relief within that area. She made me feel comfortable and consistently checked on me to make sure I was okay. Definitely will be coming back here, great experience.

Mares is my favorite! Her massage is highly therapeutic and can really resemble (but has seemed better than) physical therapy at times! She’s great at giving a relaxation massage as well, when I ask. She’s helped me a lot since I started coming, rehabilitating from a broken neck, a couple years ago. Mares has helped me feel much better.

She was the utmost of professionalism and kindness in my service. All positive comments which I really appreciate. I beat myself up enough about my self care, I’m there for her to take care of me!Her massage was the best I have had.She covered everything and worked out all my kinks and pain.

Tiffany gave me on of the best massages I’ve ever had. Her deep tissue technique was awesome and she made me feel very comfortable and welcome. She really knew her pathophysiology!

I love my masseuse, she is wonderful every time I come in from her professional attitude to her massages. She does such a great job! when Im feeling a little tense before coming in, I always leave feeling amazing. I will most definitely give Elizabeth 100 out of 100 shes located at the foothills location in Tucson AZ. I would say to anyone if you really want a great massage most definitely give her a try.

Freddy is an amazing massage therapist! He listens to my feedback about pressure and areas of focus and cares about my muscle recovery and overall wellness. The office staff is helpful and offers easy text communication for scheduling and service. Highly recommend!

Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. It’s been a while since I’ve been in to partake in this wonderful service. Elyse is a great massage therapist as well as Aaron a great aesthetician, both leaving me relaxed and refreshed. Great service.

My fiancé and I have been receiving massage treatment from Edward for about two years now and we both agree his knowledge of the body and ability to focus treatment to our needs provides the most relief of anything we do each month. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and excellent at what he does!

I tried different therapist at the foothill location and all were great but right now Michelle is by far the BEST massage therapist Ive ever had in my life (and I have had A LOT of massages)! Even my physical therapist was impressed by how relaxed my muscles were. They also have great customer services.

The massage from Genevieve was outstanding. The facial from Kiki was an entirely different story. Kiki did not inspect my skin under the lights, she did not put steam on my face, she did not offer to do extractions, she did however get cleanser in my eye, and leave mask residue on my temples. Kiki, also, ended about 15 minutes early.

Jordan is a unique therapist. Not traditional, but seems to understand physiology better than most. He knows how to manipulate the muscles to achieve maximum results. He can also be very interactive with the guest. You get as much out of it as you put into it.

Danielle is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. She finds the knots in my back right away and gets rid of them. She’s very talented and professional!

This is a great place to get a massage. The staff at the front desk are helpful and very attentive. If you get there early and dont want to wait in the noisy front desk area, they have a quiet private lounge area where you can wait for your therapist. The massage rooms are clean, quiet and have plenty of room for the therapist to be able to move around you and work a variety of angles to really dig into your muscles. They also have a wide range of therapists available who each have a different specialty so you can get more of a stretch massage, connective tissue massage or some nice deep tissue work.

The professionalism of the staff at the Sunrise location has always been superb. My go to choice of massage therapist is Freddy. He truly listens to what my my concerns are and I leave feeling relaxed and pain free.

Very strange that a corporation that sells memberships and products for hundreds of dollars but doesn’t take $100 bills. I had to go to the bank 3 different times just to tip for my massage. I guess I know for next time but disappointed that a relaxing experience turned out to be the opposite quite quickly. The front desk can work on their delivery and communication skills about this issue.

Beautiful views , wildlife are abundant, saguaro cactus bloom is magnificent. Hiking or walking for every skill level . You can literally pull up park and there is the trail . Don’t take Fido sadly not allowed in either Saguaro east or west .

Very clean, and the staff are super nice. I think that’s what makes places like this great, when the staff are nice and friendly and are not always trying to make small talk during your appointment unless you want to. They have a good selection of products here if you want to buy a recommendation from your therapist.

If it was possible to give this company 0 stars, I would. The customer service is atrocious. They say they will do something and do not. I was mischarged for a service and told on multiple occasions it would be resolved. It’s now 2 weeks later and Rue, Odessa, and Hailey have not resolved the issue thinking I will just let it go away. My massage envy experience left a lot to be desired on what a customer oriented service should be. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I went to Danielle for the first time with very stiff and painful neck, shoulders and back. She did a fantastic job getting my knots released and making me feel great!

Edward is amazing and attentive to his clients needs. He goes far and beyond to figure out what is best for each ailment! Very kind and curtious!

Although I was initially uncertain, Vincente turned out to be one of the deepest tissue massage that I have ever had at this location. The next day I was sore and grateful that he worked out so many knots! Highly recommend!

Received a wonderfully relaxing 90-min massage from Shannon - she’s fantastic.Gladys rid me of an awful tension headache I had, and Melissa at the front desk was as efficient as always.

Amber was very good with her massage techniques. I was extremely tight all over from hard labor work and it was not easy to get me to relax, but she communicated well and made the experience enjoyable.

I am hooked on wellness! Since I started my membership in 2011, I have felt more relaxed and had fewer owies! I have had many great therapist, but right now Trina is everything. She always has the table warmer and hot towels ready with just the right pressire and a meditative experience where I can shut out the world for 90 minutes a month. Thank you Massage Envy Foothills!

The massage was really good but It was not a full hour, I started at 9:20 PM (five minutes later than I was supposed to) and got done at 10:10 PM. The establishment is nice and clean and the staff are professional and friendly. But if I pay for an hour massage I want the full hour.

Savanah was great! She did slow specific work which meant she could do deeper pressure without making it feel like deep work. I didnt realize that i had been feeling like i was wraped in tight plastic wrap untill i stood up from the table. My muscles felt like they had space to move without me being sore. 5 points to savanah! Will be back in 2 weeks!

Genevieve at massage envy Tucson sunrise location is an outstanding massage therapist. She has a very intuitive touch and goes right to where the tightness and problem occurs.

Craig did a great massage and helped my back a lot. He not only worked on my problem area, but he also explained what the problem is and why.

I told Shannon about some specific pain issues in legs and she worked them out in the session and I had a wonderful nights sleep.

Booked an on-line appointment for a massage and of course when I get there they cant find me. Why have on-line appointment if the front desk saysoh yeah booking on-line is wonky. Worst place shop local NEVER GO HERE.
