My facial was amazing. I HIGHLY recommend it. She get 5 stars for that!My massage was ok...could have been better. My massage therapist kept itching his face and stopping causing a disruption in the flow and it kept me from relaxing. Thats why overall it was only 3 stars. I spent over $200! I will be going back to try a different therapist for sure.

Went and saw Anthony yesterday for my sciatica and wow that amount of relief I feel is amazing.. going back for another session to finish up but dang I’m shocked how effective it was!! Thank you

Alberta is by far the best esthetician in Oro Valley. I have been coming to Rubs for many years. After booking with others and with other spas, I found the best. She listens, cares about your concerns, and does an amazing job. My skin has never looked better; I highly recommend her.

I went to see Alyssa for a hot stone massage and it was fantastic! She made me feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire session. It was a calming and relaxing environment. Alyssa is very good at what she does and will have your body feeling amazing in no time at all! The facility is very clean and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend!

I received a facial from Andrea and it was so nice. I felt so beautiful afterwards and learned more about how to take care of my skin to stay happy and healthy.

Alberta gives the absolute best facials; and Meeghan is amazing for massages.. I can’t live without either one of them - that’s how good they are!!

We came here for the getaway package (massage/facial) and had the BEST experience. Wonderful massage therapists, and Andrea was a great esthetician. If we didn’t live so far away, we’d totally come back again.

Tried this place twice, the first time I left in pain because the therapist was so rough. I told her several times, deep pressure but slow movement. She couldn’t follow simple instructions and I was unable to relax because of her rushing and inability to listen.The manager offered me a refund and I tried with a different therapist. They also gave me a free membership but I didn’t use it since I couldn’t find a good massage therapist here. Giving two stars since they did try.

Had a fantastic 80-minute massage by Alyssa. I will definitely be back. The massage was perfect. The only bad thing I have to say is that they actually expected me to move off of the table and get dressed and leave when done. As if I could! I was practically boneless when Alyssa was done getting rid of my knots. 😉😉😉

Jared was excellent. He listened to what I asked for and payed attention. He spent a little too long on my head. Otherwise fine.

Matt was exceptional! Very intuitive and adaptive in his approach which was greatly appreciated. It felt like a custom massage. I had surgery recently and could not lay face down but was desperate for a massage. He suggested laying on each side and had a full body pillow to make these feasible and comfortable. I tend to nod off when getting a massage, which, by my standards, is a huge compliment to the therapist. My comfort & relaxation level is at its best as I nod off. Matt never startled me when it was time to change position or when the session had ended. I believe Matt said he has 30 years experience in a variety of treatments and modalities. He offered some great and useful insights regarding posture and core that I plan on trying. Thanks again Matt!

The front desk and the aesthetician were amazing! However I was supposed to get a 50 minute massage last night and the massage therapist tried to tell me there wasn’t time to do a full body massage like I have gotten from every other massage therapist at Rubs… I am not sure why she’s the only one that could not do that. But it was very rushed and I could tell I was her last client for the day, she very much acted like she just wanted to leave for the day ASAP. Then when I asked her again to at least work on my legs a little bit because I’ve been in pain all week, she assured me she only had seven minutes and couldn’t do it. Then quit seven minutes early. So I ended up not getting what I wanted, my massage cut short, and I am still in pain today. I’m afraid to get another massage too soon on the muscles she did work on so now I have to wait a few more days of pain before I can get another one and spend more money to get another massage that I should have gotten to begin with. This is the first massage therapist at Rubs that I’ve had a bad experience with… I did tell the front desk and they took $10 off which was a nice gesture. However, it’s not going to pay for the massage that I’m going to have to get later this week again and the pain that I’m going to be in because I didn’t get what I paid for to begin with.

So disappointed and if I could give no stars I would. I was gifted a gift card for Christmas by my dear friend and she had recommended a facialist, Lisa, for a derma-plane facial. I called to book an appointment as I finally had a day off and to find out they stopped giving derma-planing and microdermabrasion appointments. So I asked the girl on the phone why they stopped providing those services and she said that it was a corporate decision based off an insurance thing.So I called my friend who gifted me the gift card and she said that at her last appointment she had received those services. So extremely disappointed and pretty annoyed that this gift card is essentially pointless and null. I wanted a derma-plane facial. Not a peel like the girl on the phone suggested.

Delia at the front desk was so friendly and professional. She really made me feel comfortable while scheduling the appointment. I receive the four hand massage by Autumn and Jesse who were both professional, detailed, and friendly! I scheduled my next appointment in two weeks! Worth every penny!! 😁

Traveling for a month, my body was road sore, so I booked a package to iron out the kinks. Had a great facial with Andrea, and awesome massage with David that identified and healed my aches. Would do it again in a minute.

I have been going here for massage for over two years. Extremely professional. Try several excellent therapists until you find one or two who really fit your needs. Jordan, at the front desk, is particularly friendly and helpful. If your favorite therapists schedule is full, they will call you if a spot opens up. Im very pleased with their operation.

My husband bought me a gift certificate for my birthday and today I found time to use it! When I first contacted this location I was given a variety of options from a very helpful, pleasant, calm and kind receptionist. She offered be different levels of service for my massage and I really loved that. I chose Clari and it was the best decision of my life. I havent had a massage for about two years, talk on a headset most of the day, until working typing, talking to people and generally sitting. Ive had a lot of stress lately with some family health issues and was full of knots throughout my body.This was the best massage Ive ever had. Clari has a variety of techniques in which she is trained and I got the sense that she is able to customize what she is doing based on what the clients body is saying. My body feels so much better from the 1 1/2 hour attention Clari gave it this afternoon. I would highly recommend Clari as well as this Rubs location (havent been to any others).When I came out of my massage I immediately paid for the membership and booked another appointment with Clari for next weekend. Taking care of myself became a top priority today!

I had a terrible massage, I left like I didnt have a massage done, I wasnt relaxed at all. Danielle didnt spend any time at all on the areas I needed the most. This was a gift certificate from my kids and I felt that I wasted. This place used to be very but not any more. I do not recommend the person.

I dont get many massages and every time Ive come here Ive been more than blown away. The level of professionalism of the therapists I personally have visited Jennifer and Austin and I can highly recommend both of them. The prices are affordable the service is great and every time I leave feeling massage drunk.

This place is amazing and I keep going back. Alexis is a great massage therapist that focuses on deep tissue and always going above and beyond. I’ve been getting massages here for about five years now and finally wrote a review oops. If you haven’t already I would recommend getting the muscle melt for your free add on if you’re a member. I just wanted to take a moment and praise my amazing massage therapist Danielle at the Oro Valley location on providing me the best massage I’ve ever had in my life. She was able to calm my anxious mama nerves about leaving my children with a friend and helped me relax and enjoy this time given to me and for me. She knew exactly where my problem areas were without me even saying it and was able to work on it with immediate relief felt. I haven’t felt this relaxed, refreshed, renewed and just overall content and calm in a very long time! I’ve already told three people about my experience! I will be back and will be spreading the word for sure! Thank you!

First time visitor, a friend of mine booked me a CBD Oil massage (10/10 would recommend), and I had the pleasure of being worked on by Austin. Don’t be distracted by how easy on the eyes he is, his ability to pinpoint knots and aches and alleviate them is top notch. Very cordial and easy to talk to. Hot towel massage, wraps and compresses tied the whole thing together. Feeling relaxed and mellow, would def come back next time I’m visiting !

Oro valley rubs is the best! Spa get away , Matt is so amazing,he listens and truly a kind caring person whose goal is making a difference in how people feel and Lori gave me a wonderful first facial , also a very kind lady who not only gave me a facial but finished the spa package with a wonderful foot rub and arms and neck . Very affordable for all that I received . I am hooked

What a fantastic place! Very spacious, clean and professional. The personnel are very friendly, warm and professional. You indicate in a form any particular areas you have pain or discomfort that you want them to focus on, and they do a fantastic job taking care of that. They let you relax and know how to ask for feedback to adjust their massage to your liking (i.e., firmer, softer, slower, etc). Thus place is an oasis, they do an excellent job, with an amazing personal focus on you and an impeccable effectiveness and professionalism. It is an excellent experience and you will look forward to going back again! Highly recommended!

Carol was awesome! I had a tension headache this morning and was needing some relief. She was so kind and knew exactly what type of massage was needed. Im new to the area and Im so happy I made the call to Rubs. Will be going back again.. Hopefully without the headache.

I got a massage here last week and I’m starting to wonder if I regretted it. I went there because I live in Oro Valley so it was convenient but will never go back again. The place seemed a little uncapped doors didn’t close properly a little dirty with presentation. I mean it is a spa like experience. So I’m not impressed with that. It’s kind of a turn off gross. I got a massage here and I’m starting to wonder if I regretted it. The reception Kayla!!! was rude and unfriendly. Playing on her cell phone in plain sight unprofessional. Polite on the phone but in person rude never smiled or made me feel welcome. Bad customer service at the front. Equals for me lost customer will be going to another spa/massage business who knows how to treat their customers. My masseuse was good but not the best. I’ve had many massages at many spas. But I will say the masseuse was polite and courteous. He was also friendly and welcoming! At least someone has manners unlike the front receptionist.

The best place I have every gone for a massage. Melissa welcomes you on the phone with cheerful help. Therapists are fantastic, knowledgeable and professional. The rooms are very nice, heated beds and they use hot towels on your problem areas. 5 Star!!

The massage I received from Tamara was excellent, this isnt about her at all...this is about the company and how they have gift cards that EXPIRE. Ill never understand how gift cards can expire after they have your money. Its basically stealing if you ask me, because that is money they received and gave NOTHING for it. I had planned to go monthly, and after they told me my gift card had expired and was no good....I wont be going back.

I had a massage from Alyssa and she was amazing! She got the tension out of my shoulders and she was very professional.

I did something that I have never done before. I walked (fast) out of a massage today at Rubs! I am 62 and have been getting massage therapy for the past 20 years and have NEVER been so disappointed in a therapist. For her sake, I hope she goes back to school to learn how to improve her attitude, and technique!!

Bad MassageMy therapist was the least competent @ massage that Ive ever had in 15 yrs of body work.If anyone in your organization had her actually work on them, she would have been sent back to school for training.This is the ONLY negative massage therapy review I have ever written.FYI, I left still in pain and drove to the nearest different massage therapy location down the road and received an excellent massage for much less money.

This was such a professional and relaxing place. Everyone was Incredibly kind.My fiancée is pregnant, so she got a prenatal massage, and loved it.If youd like a fantastic massage for a reasonable price definitely come here!

I love going here for facials, and their massages are good, but for the price, the value is missing. I have gotten the spa getaway on a couple occasions, and I can tell that they take about 15-20 minutes off each side of the service.

Outstanding therapeutic massage. One of my doctors told me that Tucson has the best massage therapists and training schools in the country. Rubs is proof of it. I have chronic back problems, and the therapists at Rubs have helped me many times over the years. If you are achy and sore, Rubs is the place to go.

Had the Getaway package. Michael was my Massage therapist and was wonderful. It was one of the best massages I ever had, and I get massages regularly. I will definitely book again next time I visit Tucson.

I was having problems with my lower back and they recommend a lady that does pressure point therapy and she was fantastic. It was very painful but she warned me ahead of time but my back felt so much better 2 days later in continued to feel great for about 2 months.

Ive been enjoying the massage services at Rubs in Oro Valley since 2012 and have experienced the techniques of many of the massage therapists there and they have all been fabulous!

I go once a month and always receive great services and my pain is relieved.

Austin was amazing, definitely somebody to go to for deep tissue massage and will be returning very soon. Awesome job guys.

Not all maseuses have equal ability. Inconsistent service. Nice, serene ambiance. Horribly expensive. If it were 30% less Id go regularly.
