I walked in the other day and ordered a drink. Heard a new leather bar was coming to town so I wanted to stop by and check it out. A man named Jimmy said he was the owner. He went on to tell me that it is a real gay bar where only gay men were welcome. I am a straight man in the leather community so to me this was very offensive. I told my wife and her friends. They are also offended as well. Will never return again! I felt like Jimmy was trying to be sexual me the whole time. People were having sex all over. Not sure how long this place will last.
With the closing of gay bars and especially with the Eagle 501 closure I was extremely pleased to hear the opening of the Eagle 1811! Times have changed and the 1811 seems be caught up with those changes. Men, women, and everyone in between! Even some wildlife from Bears to Pups! Masters and Slaves! Theres always entertainment and a show! ;)
Spoke with Jimmy at Jimmys Nail Salon today. He said he owned the Eagle-1811 Leather Bar and that it is closed for good. He was unaware of the website, but I informed him of it so he could remove that site too.
So it was my first time to a leather bar and Ive gotta say that there was never a dull moment. I enjoyed Courtney and the other entertainers as well as the tutorial of playing with electricity safely. Needless to say I enjoyed my night. (:
Private club, all are welcome. Kinda small place, was there for the grand opening. I look forward to see how the business finds its place in the community.
We came to this address and it doesn’t seem to exist. There is a nail spa there, though, if you’re into that. They aren’t open late though, it seems, so arrive early.
I just went there, because it says on the website opens at 6:00 pm so shouldve been open for 2 hours now, and when I got there they werent open, so officially unimpressed.
Really enjoy the space, the friendly clientele, employees and owners.
