Natasha was wonderful! It was my first time working with her and I already booked another visit. She really listened to me and focused on my areas of concern. She even provided guidance on how to take care of my injuries in between visits. Another fabulous visit to Elements!

Scheduled an appointment for a couples massage. I was told over the phone that they do them there and that we would be together for the massage. Booked this out weeks in advance for a special day to be told day of that we would be in separate rooms. I was told that a manager would call me the next business day to remedy the situation, but it’s been over a week and I have not been contacted. Poor customer experience.

I went here for the first time today only because I received a gift card. I would not have gone otherwise because the location is a bit hidden. But I had a very very good experience! I had a 90 minute Swedish massage with Dahana and she was absolutely fantastic. Ive been getting massages all over the country for the past 20 years and she is probably the best masseuse I have ever had. Because of this experience, I will be booking a membership and trying to go to see Dayana monthly.

Highly recommend Natasha. She’s a good communicator and she made sure I was comfortable/relaxed during my massage. All the staff were very nice too, I would definitely go here again.

Special shout out to Jared! There are several good massage therapists, and they are all very different, so it is nice to have a single platform (and very nice front desk staff) to explore until you find the right one for you.Jared is unbelievably thoughtful, and it feels like a problem solving session in addition to being relaxing. He would find things which didn’t even hurt (so I hadn’t considered them issues) but felt great when resolved. He always gives me a good stretch to do between sessions, so it’s really an all encompassing muscle/posture health consultation.

Just called to make an appointment and the staff is beyond rude so take my advice and go somewhere else… no matter how good the massage is it’s not worth the hassle . 👎🏻

Awful experience here. The one star is for Yovana, my masseuse, who was consistently wonderful. I purchased many sessions and had collected several credits as I was unable to use them due to a prolonged illness in 2022. Apparently, when I cancelled my membership there was some fine print I missed, indicating a deadline for redeeming my remaining sessions (3). I called Elements West Newton to schedule a massage for my sister who has been taking care of me and they refused to let me redeem even one session for this purpose. Even after informing the manager that I had a bilateral mastectomy the day before yesterday she refused to make an exception since its 11 days after the deadline. I understand its my responsibility to read the fine print before I sign anything but to me this was a simple request from a loyal customer who has spent hundreds of dollars there. She had an opportunity to make one exception so I could gift my caregiver a massage and she refused. The manager was cold and unyielding. Im shocked that she had no interest in accommodating this request. Instead of taking an opportunity to demonstrate excellent customer service and an appreciation for loyal customers such as myself, she chose to drive away a dedicated client. Even after I recover from my mastectomies I will never go back here. They should be ashamed of themselves. I will encourage anyone interested to find another location rather than support a company with so little integrity.

During my recent visit, I had scheduled a 1.5-hour appointment for a massage at 2:45. I arrived promptly at 2:40, but unfortunately, I was asked to fill out paperwork at the front desk, which caused a slight delay. I was eventually taken to the massage room at 3:00, and the massage itself started at 3:10.Upon completion of the massage, I returned to the front desk at 4:06 to settle the payment. I was surprised to find that they were charging me for the full 1.5-hour session despite the delayed start. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the receptionist had no satisfactory explanation, except to suggest asking for a discount next time.Aside from the scheduling and payment issue, I must admit that I found the massage to be rather average, and the overall environment was not as friendly as I had hoped. The total cost of $149, plus an additional $20 tip, seemed quite steep for the overall experience I received.In light of these circumstances, I feel inclined to explore other options for my future massage needs. I value a professional and punctual service, and unfortunately, my recent experience did not meet these expectations.I hope that my feedback can be taken constructively and used to improve the overall customer experience at your establishment. I have been coming to Elements Massage in Newton for since it opened, some 12 or so years ago. It’s not convenient to where I live, but more than worth the commute. I’ve tried other, more convenient places but always came back here because of wonderful staff and superbly skilled massage therapists, Evan and Agusti especially. More than anything else, their massages helped me recover from injuries and surgery; soothe my frayed nerves after becoming a parent late in life; and most recently, helped alleviate the terrible anxiety caused by the pandemic. I can say with 100% certainty that I am a healthier person—both physically and emotionally—because of their skill and their wonderfully therapeutic massages. Thank you!

Im pretty sure I received the best Best professional massage Ive ever had! I need deep and hard massages. My masseur was amazing! He also did some stretches Ive never had done before. I would definitely recommend you go here. Especially if you like it hard!

Yari is an amazing massage therapist. She truly listens to your needs and concerns and makes sure she is giving the right amount of theraputic pressure. She is very professional and kind. She is a 10+ all around! And the staff is always very professional and friendly and I always feel relaxed and serene when I am there.

I urge everyone who is considering visiting Elements, especially the Newton location, to think twice. Your health could be compromised. I contracted COVID after my recent massage session with a male therapist. He was not wearing a mask and was sweating profusely and talking very loudly. He would wipe his sweat with his arms and instead of washing that off, he would continue the massage with his hands and sweaty arms. I tried not to make a big deal at the time, thinking Ill just take a hot shower when I get home. However, symptoms started emerging pretty quickly after that session and it was soon after confirmed. I had tested negative prior to the session and then positive after the session. I did not visit anywhere else. This was it.Elements does not enforce or encourage masks for therapists, which is very risky, given the close-contact nature of massage. The therapist even told me he does not do regular testing. Whether it was from him, or the room itself, or the location space, something was not right, or I wouldnt have felt lousy afterward.The room felt like it had poor ventilation and not just because I had my mask on. It felt very stuffy and the air did not feel fresh. In addition, when I was waiting in the lobby before he came out, the manager at the desk was coughing - not persistent - but enough to make me wonder why she wasnt masking up. It was not just a clear-the-throat type of cough, but the intense, heavy kind of coughing when someone is under the weather. In that situation, I am surprised she chose not to put on a mask or excuse herself to the back for a moment, especially in a lobby that is supposed to be quiet and serene. It does not take anything for particles to travel thru the air and there were several other clients waiting with me.When I was contacted by someone named Janice, she grew increasingly defensive, snarky, and tried to knock down everything I was saying. There was no accountability whatsoever, just blankly saying it wasnt them repeatedly - when it was. She said the therapist is healthy, but even if he tested negative now, it does not mean he was not infected at the time of our massage - same with the others.Health and safety are so incredibly important and from my firsthand experience at this studio, sanitation and safety protocols were not followed or met. Please proceed with caution, as everyone deserves to come out of a massage feeling better than when they went in - instead of getting COVID. I was the lucky one.

I have a monthly membership here. Their reservation system is easy to use. When I walk in, the ladies at check in are very nice and are aware of who they are expecting. I have tried several therapists and havent had a bad experience for anyone thinking of a one time massage. I have a favorite at this point but it is important for you to go and figure out who you like best if you make it a regular thing.

I scheduled for a 90min massage. I changed it from a 60min to 90min, but the person forgot to tell me that they had changed the person who will be doing the massage for me. So I was surprised to hear when I checked in that it was not Bethany but it will be Thomas. I reluctantly agreed, however, the person at front desk did not understand and had not courtesy to confirm, so I was sitting there for another 15min to realize they have put me with Bethany. However the front desk had no courtesy to even apologize.Finally they agreed to have Thomas do the masage who was very nice as I was already there waiting. I entered the room at 4:19 and the massage was started at 4:29 which was promptly stopped at 5:29. I was surprised as to change clothes and to be out of the room it will not take more than 5-8 min. The massage was OK. It helped with my shoulders and the front desk charged a membership rate thankfully.I will not be back again at this location. I have been to other Elements Massage places and never been this experience. Needless to say I went to de-stress and it was not the best situation to do the same. But I will recommend massage with Thomas but keep an eye on the time to get value for the money.

The Massage Therapists are great. I am never disappointed with whoever works on my muscles. They listen to my concerns and use techniques to mitigate. This past week I went to Yovanny and she worked my back, calf and feet muscles. I am very grateful to her and the front desk staff.

Everyone at the Newton location is so nice and friendly. And Tiffanie is literally the best massage therapist - I always feel so relaxed. I highly recommend her to all my friends.

I purchased a 90 minute massage for my girlfriends birthday here. She said it was one of the best massages she has ever received. Not that Im terrible myself, but I thought she would run away with her masseuse and ditch me instead. Cant take a star off for that though :) Ill be returning here soon to get one myself. Bonus points for the nice seating in the waiting area.

After booking this appointment for my girlfriends birthday, they called me an hour before her apointment telling me they cancelled and had to reschedule. I told them that was unacceptable, and they were able to find a masseuse to cover and keep the original time - which they shouldve done in the first place. Additionally, I took care of the gratuity in the initial payment but still had people call and ask me for gratuity. Extremely unprofessional. Im told the massage itself was great although they apparently left out the aromatherapy I paid for. Would not recommend booking here.

I’ve been going to Elements for years now, and have always received excellent massages. The service is friendly and prompt. The facility is professional and clean. And I like how they offer new add on services such as hot stones, Himalayan salt stones, Ayurveda essential oils, and now CBD oil.

My wife had a great massage. It was surprising, however, that the tip was not built in and so they were expecting a very high tip on top of what we had already paid for the service. This was a major deterrent for us and something that definitely delineates this place from others weve been to. This guilt tip culture is not a positive experience for the consumer. A tip should be voluntary, by its very nature, and not expected. If the tip is so important, then raise the prices to make up for the difference so the consumer knows what to expect, and they are not forced to make a huge tip at the end!

I have recently become a member at Elements Massage and have been reaffirmed that my decision was a great one every time I go in. There is not only quality but diversity in therapists to suit varying needs, online scheduling and great customer service. I would recommend Elements in West Newton to anyone who uses Massage Therapy on a regular basis for routine medical care, as well as for people who get the once in a while massage.

Love the convenience, quality, and price of the massages at Elements. Get a subscription and you can go monthly - its a no brainer!

I had a great experience at Elements in West Newton! The front desk staff was very pleasant, and the masseuse was kind, and informing me of what she was doing, but not to the point where talking was excessive. I almost fell asleep during my session- it was so relaxing. I will definitely be back.

Very professional & welcoming, and they have an amazing membership program (but you can cancel at any time so its great if youre worried about money like I am). The aroma therapy really helped me relax...and it was only $10. Both my mom and I tried it, you smell it when you rest your head and they use the oil during the massage and it almost puts you to sleep! They have 3 different scents so you have some nice ones to choose. I used the citrus and mom used the lavender. Pretty sure we both fell asleep! LolThe table is heated that you lay on, the lights can be dimmed down really low, the music is very relaxing.The therapist care a lot about their clients and their number one goal is to help you relax and relieve any pain or knots you might have. I strained my arm from a work incident before and they focused on that a bit longer then other areas. They check in on the pressure to make sure its comfortable for you, and they help pair you with a therapist that works with the strength you need.The bathrooms are clean & have products to use after, like hair combs, hair spray, q-tips etc. They offer free bottles of water when you come in too, since its important to be hydrated during the massage!I used to look at massages as something to pamper yourself, and make an excuse I couldnt afford it. After seeing the difference, I now realize this is more about healing yourself and lifting your overall health. So happy I made the appointment. If everyone got massages every month the world would be a better place hahaha

Really pleasant place to receive in depth & comprehensive Swedish, deep tissue, or Shiatsu massage. The front desk staff are very friendly, professional, and polite as are the trained & licensed massage therapists. If you have a monthly massage, its affordable if you are on a budget.

Generally a wonderful place. However, the ownership still has the therapists work on a tip adjusted income. Professionals with licenses should be paid a salary. Clients pay the whole amount regardless but the tipping culture feels very wrong.I hope they change it.

The atmosphere is calming and staff are friendly. Renato understands the importance of pressure points and stretching. Always asking “Okay, so how are you feeling?” prior to starting massage then giving advice on how to stretch muscles that are tight. He has helped me through a lot of pain and I’m better for knowing him!

Really appreciate the flexibility of times available, variety of therapists, general helpfulness of the people at reception; and wait lists are genuine -- I have had a last minute call when hoping to see my favorite therapist who was fully booked.

I had a therapeutic massage with Agusti after experiencing whiplash and had overall tension. It was the best deep-tissue massage I have ever received. The pressure was prefect and honestly life-changing. Visit this man I promise you wont regret it!!

Elements is so relaxing and therapeutic. Very professional establishment. Raven,my therapist, provides the most relaxing massage. She concentrates on my problem, aching areas. When my massage is over I feel so great with pain totally relieved.

Benson is amazing. He did elements of regular massage, Thai massage, and reflexology. I went in hurting all over and left floating.Elements has variable massage experts, and there is reasonably high turnover. Ive been going for several years and it can be annoying to make a connection and then lose someone. I believe thats common in a job that leads to someone starting their own business though.

Signed up for their monthly subscription which requires 30 days of notice to cancel (so in other words they charge you for an extra month after you have decided that you no longer want the service - wasnt thrilled with that, but in all fairness it is what I signed up for) but it goes further than that. I called to cancel and they told me that they couldnt cancel my subscription over the phone - I had to send in paperwork which they said they would send me. OK, not convenient, but fine. Then they never sent me the paperwork (checked spam and regular email and nothing was ever sent). Of course I then forgot about it until I got billed again and then I called in and requested a refund which they are refusing to give me despite this being their fault for not sending me the form. At the end of the day, this is all just very bad business practices and they have shown no interest in doing anything except billing me for services that I am not using. Avoid these guys.

Wonderful and easy place to getto and get a great massage in Newton. Price is reasonable, inviting waiting area, comfortable massage rooms and pleasant staff. Iron thumbs Staci is my favorite as she really zeros in on my trigger points.Liked: Value, Service, Location, Atmosphere

Not the same since Nicol left. There might have been change in management. Called to change card on file and was put on hold for 10 minutes so hung up and called back. First thing receptionist said was can I hold. I told her I have been and she said she was busy with clients. My guess chit chatting with friends. Very unprofessional.

I come here whenever my back is really out of whack. I have been seeing Evan for 5 years now. I have never found a better masseuse with more intuition. I often dont have to tell him the exact spot and he finds it.Further, he offers a lot of stretching advice for self-care to male his help less necessary.

Aside from accommodating staff, Im also enjoying aromatherapy with the staff that utilizes it. An enjoyable experience from the greeting upon walking in, to the peppermint patty and cup of water at the end. Thanks Elements!
