This place is a very hip, cute rooftop spot with all the feels. We came in for the Family & friends even on 7/25 and it was a vibe.Drinks were on point. Service was outstanding. Views were amazing from the rooftop and love the greenery throughout.We even got a bonus firework show which was so much fun!Restrooms were very clean and that is always important to me.We will definitely be back, especially for a drink on date night.

Green Life Social is a pleasant rooftop bar and restaurant with a great selection of drinks. The rooftop area offers a fantastic view of the entire Dallas downtown. Their DJ area is well-designed, and the music, curated by a talented DJ, complements the nice dance floor. However, during our visit, the crowd was disappointingly sparse, which led to some boredom. The outdoor seating was attractive and well decorated. Overall, while its a decent place, I dont think Ill be returning as it didnt quite match my vibe.

This rating is for the ruby room upstairs. The atmosphere was great but if only security stood their ground and not let ppl cut in lines that would have been better.

Huge shoutout to the whole Greenlight Social staff (especially Chris Evans) for helping me pull off an unforgettable ending to a perfect weekend for the newlyweds! They worked their magic in less than 24 hours, making our already amazing wedding celebration even more special. If youre ever unsure of where to go in Dallas, look no further – this is the spot where youre guaranteed to have a fantastic time!

Paid $60 to see Shaboozey play 2 songs. $15 drinks that were pathetically small. This is Dallas not Miami. Id pass on this one unless you need somewhere to use a fake id.

Green Light Social was great and I loved the decor. However, I was confused because the prices for the first and second floors were different. I like the second floor which was more private and outdoor patio. The first floor was chaotic and smell was bad too. :(

Came around midnight on Saturday night. Packed inside, line outside still to get in. Hit up the bouncer and got pulled up to VIP immediately - probably helped having beautiful women with us. DJ, music, fog, lasers/lights, people bouncing up and down to the beat - what youd typically expect. Worth a visit.

Love the different area among the bar/club . Only seen the downstairs area but both areas was fill with great vibes . Love that both areas downstairs had their own djs . Aggressive bouncer puts his hands on women. Went to this club while visiting my best friend in dallas on Friday night, July 5th. The center of the dance floor was pretty crowded, but our friend group was somewhere near the middle so we went into the crowd to retrieve them, since they didnt see the two of us ladies as we are fairly short. One of the bouncers began extremely aggressively attempting to clear the area and screaming at us to move, back up, and leave the area. This wouldnt have been a problem were we able to move at all, but we were blockaded into the area by men that were much larger than us. The bouncer, a young man probably about 511 with locs in twists pulled back into a ponytail, both aggressively shoved me directly into various large men blocking me from the entrance multiple times, and also grabbed my friend by the back of her head and pushed her as well. This bouncer was twice our size and very strong, and this is obviously not acceptable or professional behavior. Lucky for us, none of the men around us got upset by me repeatedly being pushed into them and eventually were coherent enough to let us through. I did not want to ruin our night by getting management involved, but this bouncer should really be handled before he becomes a liability to the club by creating a hostile environment and putting his hands on women.

Great place with a lot of energy! Definitely a party spot with celebrity DJs and local DJs. Also a cool place to go on Sunday evenings when its not hot as... outside. I havent tried the food yet. Jake is an awesome manager and great customer service!

You can thank the power hungry moron at the door going to the upstairs area for this review. This guy allows my wife, my sister in law, and my brother in law’s wife entry, but denies my brother in law and myself. His reasoning was dress code, mind you I’m was wearing black pants with a collared shirt, and my brother in law was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a fitted cap. I watched him let two guys go up that were wearing t-shirts and jeans, and my wife confirmed that there were several other guys up there that were dressed casually. Between the booth with bottle service and the tabs outside of that we probably spent around $1k, but we can’t be allowed “upstairs”. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody, and I certainly can’t see my self returning anytime in the future.

I visited last night with a group after the Mavs game, and several of us were wearing jerseys. Unfortunately, we encountered an unexpected and disappointing policy: they charged extra for anyone wearing a jersey. The security people at the front were rude and unprofessional…very unpleasan. This felt unfair and dampened our post-game celebration.

Came here years ago when they only had VIP by the stage, a big dance floor and bar. Now its multiple seating sections of VIP by the floor, a chicken coop size dance floor, standing by the bar and extra VIP by the dj booth. People dont even come here to dance anymore. I went last week at a big and everyone was literally just staring at the dj until it was over. The only people that had fun were the people in VIP. Garbage club. 🗑

Green light social wouldn’t be the same without Slim at the front door. He makes every experience I have coming here so fun. Definitely one of the best guys that’s here!

We were in Dallas with my wife for the weekend and we had an EXCELLENT experience with Jake Re at Green Light Social. The environment was phenomenal, service was AMAZING and we felt it was the perfect nightclub for us. We will definitely come back anytime we go to Dallas again. Fully recommend it!

Large venue with several concepts under one roof. I prefer smaller venues that decide who they are and focus on being the best at one concept. All that said, can we say OVERPRICED!!! I ordered a Jack Daniel’s on the rocks and a michelobe ultra and the tab was 34.00 with tip! Seriously… that is price gauging! I plan to call about the charge I can’t imagine they seriously charge for a bottle and a case for a 2 oz pour and a bottle of beer.Needless to say I will not go again!

As far as Nightlife goes, if you want a party, great music, some of the best DJs (not just locally but around the globe), and a safe environment to enjoy the evening then come early and stay late at Green Light Social.Coming from living in LA for years, this is the only comparable establishment to the nightlife scene you’re going to want to experience.The staff: as friendly as they come. 11$ for a half oz shot is ridiculous, pregame hard if you go here. We also went on a super busy night and the atmosphere was pretty meh, especially considering the long line at the door.

Cool club with same type of music most nights. Wouldn’t call it an EDM place, more of an club playing trendy music…106.1 of EDM music. The staff is pretty on point, always great attitudes and the bar service is always pretty quick too… security guards are okay, can be pretty rude sometimes especially the ruby room one…Will allow access obviously on Sundays for sunset and sometimes for other days but you have no way of knowing. Rudely had a security guard say “I don’t know you” no one asked that was just asking to go upstairs. There’s two other bars other than the main music hall that are always doing other types of music.

This place is a scam. Went there with with some friends used my card and charged my card a lot of money for someone else’s tab. Reached out to them and never helped me when they said they would. Reached out to the manager through text and email and never got a response or help. They don’t care about their customers and only taking there money.

Ladies do NOT come here, it is seriously UNSAFE. Would give this place negative stars if I could. I got my entire purse swiped right off my shoulder in the middle of the dance floor on a Saturday night. Before I even realized what had happened the thief disappeared into the crowd. Security and bartenders did not care at ALL when I asked them for help. In fact, the security guards response was to yell at me to get out of the walkway while I pleaded for help. Based on other reviews this happens quite a lot. Clearly management and staff do not care about keeping their establishment safe. Sketchy area and these supposed security guards do not have a care in the world.The next morning I went back to see if the thief had left anything because I had no cash and cancelled all of my cards immediately. JR at the bar was very kind to me and had me leave my name and contact info should anything turn up. He was literally the only good thing about my entire experience there.

Bought 2 drinks worth $30 sum but woke up to a $75 charge on my account. They are stealing money and my servers name is Diamond. Trying to get in contact with these folks is nearly impossible.

By far my FAVORITE bar in Dallas!! It’s so much fun and the bartenders are so quick and attentive!! If you’re ever there look for Sam behind the bar he’s literally the BEST and my fav bartender in the city!! 10/10

You should go here if you want to get robbed. Went here the night before thanksgiving and everything in my purse was stolen. Had a very painful holiday and still suffering from it. Reported to the security guard the person who stole my things (white man, early 30s, white adidas shirt - pretends to know you for a brief second and then steals your things) and nothing was done about it. While reporting this, another woman came up to me and told me her belongings were stolen too. Another friend of mine told me shes had her phone snatched out of her hands here. Women are targeted here, please protect yourself and dont come here.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. I liked that there was a variety of spaces you could hang out in (club like area, bar area, outdoor patio) - it makes this place perfect for larger groups so people can split off and find their vibe. Shoutout to one of the workers who texted my friend when she lost her keys - I think that says a lot about this place. Highly recommend.

I inquired on the website to book a table and Chris reached out to me in only minutes and answered all of my questions, booked us a spot for my husband’s birthday. Also confirmed a couple ours before arrival and the bottle girls were so nice and accommodating. They put his picture up on the big screen above the dj booth and blew smoke and brought out the signs with the bottles and just made our night. Cool music, good service, We will definitely be back! Seems like they really take care of their guests!

Basically three bars in one. Sports bar, EDM bar/venue/ and a rooftop bar. On Sundays the rooftop is where to be but it gets very crowded and the lines for drinks can be insanely long

Went for a concert, stayed for the opening bands, left right after the headliner. Way to many people for such a small space.The VIP tables block any view you have from the bar area (people stand on the seats/sit on the wall and block your view and girls shaking their flat butts in your face) if you try to get closer the floor drops down infront of the DJ booth and you still cant see anything. Not only that my friend went to the bathroom, they kicked her out, and they made her wait inline to get back in. I will definitely not be going back.

My wallet was stolen out of my purse within 5 minutes of being here. My friends phone was stolen out of her purse as well. The staff had me write my name, phone number and wallet description on a receipt at the bar, but nothing came from that. Just something to be aware of - the people who stole our stuff were clearly professionals and targeting women.

I attended on New Years Eve and it was a lot of fun! The DJ was great and the bar was quick. Lots of room to dance or to sit at a high-top table if you wanted to. We waited in line for over an hour which was expected and not an issue. Only issue was that we were told that the cover would be $60 for guys while we were in line, but they changed it to $80 when we got to the door. If it wasnt NYE we probably would have gone somewhere else, but it wasnt the end of the world.

Decent place. Crowd was mid on a Sunday.

Green Light Social in Dallas, Texas, is one of the best nightclubs in Dallas hands down. I got a section for New Years Eve and had the BEST TIME EVER. Not only do they have an amazing bar and nightclub, but they also have a speakeasy called Ruby Room. The service from the bouncers, to the bottle service girls, to the bartenders was outstanding. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Green Light Social to anyone who lives in Dallas or is visiting Dallas! Amazing for Bachelor and Bachelorette parties, birthdays, and New Years!!!

Went to this place with a booked bottle service table right next to the DJ booth and had an amazing time! I liked how the front area had more trendy R&B music and the main club area was EDM/remixed music. Parking was a little off putting my bf was able to negotiate it from $30 to $20 but the parking lot was ghetto and Im sure they were not gonna protect my car at all lol. The bottle service did seem overcharged too but I didnt pay so not too sure... Overall a great experience but there some sketchy things when it came to monetary things.

My first time going down I was really impressed drinks were good the atmosphere was amazing and a lot of people having fun enjoying their self when you go here just tell Miami sent you.

Ambience is 10/10. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous! We’ve been to Green Light Social a few times in Austin and this exceeded my expectations. It’s so much bigger and better, you almost can’t even compare the two. Great music and cool atmosphere. We loved the huge screen behind the DJ. We are so happy Dallas added something new and can’t wait to come back!

STAY AWAY!!! Place doesn’t even deserve an 1 star. Incident took place on July 8th around 1:15 am. Description of security: Tall Black man, light almost sandy/reddish brown hair, lighter skinned. They hire random hood boogers from the Dallas streets who belong on ratchet Zeus Network as security, who are drunk on the job, try to bully you, & stalk you all the way to the exit like a final boss. If you keep that evolved ape as security, he is going to try the wrong person one day & it won’t end well, the outcome will be on you all for allowing that type of behavior. This is a business, not grandmas house in the hood where you shoot dice.

My lady and I were there for Green Light Socials Grand Opening this past Thursday. This place has been three years in the making and I must say the finest nightclub I have ever been to. We spent most of our time in the Ruby Room. Also known as the speakeasy within the club. WOW! The ladies serving us are Texas pretty and as nice as could be. The bar and security staff were all smiles and helpful with any need. Congratulations to the folks that brought the coolest club in Austin to Dallas. The place ROCKS!!!

My phone was stolen out my small crossbody handbag that I was wearing. I am extremely disappointed how security refused to help me. From other employees, this happens far too often.The douche that stole my phone, you will get your day! Btw, I have all the locations you stopped at last night and this morning.

Cole always accommodates my team and is a great host for anything we need while we are at Green Light. Contact them for bottle service strongly recommend!

The venue and bathrooms are clean and maintained, the crowd is chill, no overly creepy men (lots of security outside and inside). Free DJs on Thursdays. Paid valet parking on site or free street parking around. Drinks are a hit or miss. Waiting in line outside and then also inside isn’t it but it’s kinda worth it sometimes

Ordered elote glizzy….they sent a container of corn with cheese on top and nothing else. No glizzy in sight. Churros were rock hard. Hamburgers were Burger King level but cost much more. Steer clear!

Zero stars if I could. Went with some friends and was quoted a specific price for bottle service. They brought out water bottles that we didn’t ask for and told us not to worry about it. Ended up being one of the extra fees on the tab, on top of two other extra fees. Ran up our bill by 50% of what we were originally quoted. Tried to get in touch with someone to discuss the billing but all calls and text messages were unanswered. Unprofessional. Scammers. Be warned. Don’t accept any “complimentary” things because it’s all LIES.

Clean, good drinks, and nice staff. The music was a tragic mix of throwbacks that changed every 10 seconds. Do not recommend for music, dancing, or good vibes.

This place is great. There are 2 sides to hang out with 2 different DJ’s. One side is a bar, with plenty of seating. You can hear your friends talking here at normal volume. The other side is the club side. This is the best Deep Ellum club imo. Will go back for sure.

This guy claims he owns and is entitled to charge $20 to park, i feel bad for the establishment and i hope it is reported that they have no legal rigjt to charge to park!

My friends and I decided to go here for brunch and while the food came out slow, the staff overcompensated for this inconvenience and made sure we were taken care of. I enjoyed my food and thought it was worth the wait. The mimosa tower did its job as well.

My girls and I went to green light the other week and got a table and were told a certain amount for that specific section. At the end of the night, they snuck in an entertainment fee of $250. They told us they would take it off since that was not discussed prior but they didn’t. We called multiple times but no answer or reply! Super shady! So beware of them slipping you extra charges especially when they know you’ve been drinking. Also their DJ was yelling at the crowd that night threatening to beat someone up! So unprofessional. The workers there even tried to convince us to come back the next day but no way are we ever going back.

You’ve probably heard how this is the #1 EDM club in Texas and they have absolutely amazing drink menu, but did you know that their food is really freakin good too, for real! Try whatever and let it blow your mind

Frankly, establishment is a blurry 2 hours at best. The kicker is in order to enter you have to get past brad, chad, and thad standing at the door asking siri to flip a coin as to whether you are allowed into what they think is the greatest club that the world has ever seen. They will follow this up with the classic “$50 to get in” and trust me when I say there is no worse way to spend $50.

Got pit pocketed here- apparently happens a lot (30-50 wallets missing at the end of every weekend). The manager/security team are aware of this and aren’t doing anything about it. Worst part is, they aren’t even helpful, kind or compassionate when pleading for help finding it. The place sucks.

Scammers. They charge your card an extra time at the end of the day. Saw them charge people $100 to get through the door. Not even a high class club to charge entry with. Club wasn’t even a party, music was lame.

Grew up partying in Austin my whole life. Basically grew up on 6th street. This bar opened up and blew my expectations. Most fun I’ve ever had partying by far. Now living in DFW I can’t wait. About time we had a place like this in Dallas. Bars done right!!!
