Had dinner, friendly staff, good food. I didnt like that it was drizzling outside and everyone that was waiting to be seated, for their names to be called, were all huddled behind me. Kicking my chair, talking loudly and just in my space. Last year when we ate here, the menu was better. Last year, we got spaghetti and clams and seafood Alfredo. This year its appetizers and bar sandwiches. The French onion soup was delicious.
Went there to eat tonight, a party of 7. Too bad because the food tasted good but the service was absolutely terrible, from wait staff to the servers. A meal was never delivered and the server staff was very disrespectful and arrogant. Other tables also did not get all of their meals. Wait staff are constantly on their phones rather than ensuring that all meals are served and when one is not, do nothing to ensure it gets delivered timely. The service staff simply doesnt seem to care at all, and the arrogance of the food servers towards the customers is just horrible. Due to hiring sub par staff, they lost 7 paying customers from ever returning.Stay and away from this place and spend your hard earned vacation money somewhere that respects the customer and cares about service delivery.
My Mom and I visited and had a great time here. Niether of us are frequent drinkers, and the Bahama Mamas we had were delicious 😋. We went back each night we were in Wildwood and definitely look forward to visiting again. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The drinks were phenomenal. An all around good time.

I visited on a Friday post lunch - mid afternoon, sat at the bar.$4 Yuengling pint. $10 Pizza was good but not excellent.Side Caesar was very good but $6 is a bit pricey for the portion and as an addition to a food entre. Bartender was friendly and engaging.I did not take advantage of a long list of draft and craft beers.
Fun place to eat, unbelievable stock of beer both domestic and imported, Ate there 2x food was great, loved their wings & mozzetta sticks, good hefty portions. Trivia night was great fun also! If you are near, give it a try.
Its not that good. the service was slow. if i had to ask the waiter again to stop reaching over my plate to help someone on my left, it was too many times. teach your employees proper etiquette when cleaning or serving the table.

Maybe a little understaffed for NYE, but the food came out quickly and was very good! It took a little bit to have our order taken, and for drinks to arrive. The sole server seemed like she was running around like crazy, not her fault she could have used a hand on the busy NYE night. The wings were amazing and I really enjoyed my Cuban sandwich, I had to remove some of the meat, it was huge! The pizza was very good as well and everything was reasonably priced. If I visit again, Ill be coming here for dinner!
If you’re African-American, do not go here they’re extremely racist and they do not like Black people. I didn’t even get inside of the bar before the bartender thought that I threw something on the ground so he then became verbally aggressive towards me. When I left out to get a ride and wait outside, he then had somebody come outside and curse me out. While also Videotaping me without my permission.
Had a very disappointing experience here. I ordered shrimp tacos, which were supposed to come with mango salsa and avocado crema. After the food gets dropped off and the server walks away, I notice the tacos have shrimp, iceberg lettuce, and large chunks of tomatoes. No mango salsa or crema to be found. The server didnt check on us for over ten minutes, and when she finally came back I told her the tacos were not the ones listed on the menu. She brought them back to the kitchen, came back five minutes later with them and said were out of mango salsa and crema but they put some guac on them for you. I told her I didnt want them and asked for the check.Ive been in the service industry for 13 years and give a lot of grace. I have never sent food back and asked for it to be taken off the check before. But in all honesty, if they bought my beer I would have left with a far less poor taste in my mouth. They did nothing to make up for the wasted 40 minutes and leaving without having eaten. The only reason Im giving two stars is because they have a great beer selection, so its a shame Ill never return.
The staff was very friendly and chilled. Only had time for a quick drink but the food looked awesome coming out of the kitchen. Will definitely order something to eat next time I am there. The price of the beer was very affordable. Looking forward to next visit.
I got in with my friend and requested a beer from the bartender. Apparently one dollar tip is not enough for a 4 dollar beer, because we were told to leave. The bartender was an old fat guy who was very rude and racist.
The best craft beer bar, brewpub, place to drink period in Wildwood! Staff loves beer as much as we do, and theyre great at pouring/serving it. Knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing tap list full of local and imported craft beer. Theres a brew for everyone. Also great people/conversation and a premier spot for watching sports on TV.
This place sucks. My friend was 21 and they snapped his real state ID and broke it. They denied doing it and turning it down. Save yourself the trip and don’t go here. The bouncer was rude and threatened us.
We stopped at Good Night Irenes for lunch. This place never changes, and I LOVE that!! We both ordered beers, but unfortunately, the keg kicked, but the server quickly recommended something else, which was totally awesome! The food was really good, big portions and done perfectly. They have an outdoor area which is really nice too. Great service, great food and atmosphere was nice.

Arguably the best neighborhood bar in Wildwood. Best variety of beers, most creative chefs, friendliest servers.Prices are totally reasonable, and they are accommodating for special requests. The bartenders know their stuff. Waiters and waitresses are kind and prompt.

I’ve had great experiences at goodnight Irene’s. I was in tonight with a group of friends and the bartender couldn’t be bothered by us. We had a great time with the performer and the food was delicious. Unfortunately the bartender only came over to us when our drinks were empty. We would have planned to come back tomorrow if the bartender had been more friendly. :(
When you first walk in there is no one there to greet you as it is pretty much a bar with tables. This seemed to deter and upset a lot of people. We made our way to someone who said we could grab a seat. I was a little disappointed as a full service bar I was told because it was raining the outside bar was closed and I couldn’t get an orange crush because that’s an outside drink ? Ultimately why I went here so that was that. The wings are breaded and we got the wrong sauce , they were still good and we still ate them. The fries are amazing and the food was tasty so it made up for it. I wouldn’t return simply because I couldn’t get the drink I went there for.

Absolutely the best time!! I came with my friends for a girls trip down to wildwood and we weren’t sure where we can go out to so I found this place and it was great! The bartenders were friendly, drinks were SO CHEAP (AND HUGE), there was a DJ inside starting at 10pm, and theres even outdoor seating for those who don’t want the “club” atmosphere. I 100% recommend and would come back!!! Had the best time!!
I gave the young man a big tip but it was hard to get his attention. I went there this morning with my husband, we waited a bit for drinks, then got food, waited a bit to re up on our drinks, and had to wait a bit to get the drinks butttttt FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! I do not eat crab cakes often because some that I have had in the past were not that great. I just figured since I was in a seafood town, I needed to try again. It did not disappoint. Hubby order wings....I can still smell them from the trash. They were sooooo good. Dont miss out on this sweet spot!!!

I heard from a neighbor that the place was good. It was surprisingly quiet for a Monday in the summer (but everythingis weirdly quiet). They have a great, actually super great selection of beer. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich. It was good bur not really spicy. Service was awesome. Price was really good. I plan on going back this week.
2023 Update: The quality of service and food have both dropped massively since my last visit. Maybe it was a fluke, but the entire dining experience was disappointing.------------I came in with my girlfriend and her dad while on vacation. The beer selection was great & varied, the music was fantastic, and the staff that I interacted with were all great. There was a regular sitting next to us that said some real weird things to my girlfriend after her dad & I went outside, but other than that things were awesome. The bartender we interacted with the most was RJ and he was great, we all really enjoyed his personality.
We had a blast playing trivia Thursday night. The food was fantastic and the adult beverages were awesome! Our waitress was very patient and perfect! Im glad they are open year round for those who live here. Cant wait till warm weather when the patio is open!
Nice spot. Home-like feel. Very chill and low key. We only wanted the white pizza (which I forgot to take a picture of) and our waitress recommended getting more than just that thinking we wouldn’t be full.. so we started with the Cassie fries (old bay) appetizer and then couldn’t finish the pizza. Oh well. Service was good overall.
Visited Goodnight Irene today Wednesday between the hours 5:30 to 6:45 no waiting list, staff was polite food came out quick and good I had a burger, pizza, and onion rings, if you like craft beer there is a great selection on tap, will definitely visit again, and will recommend the place to friends and family.

We stumbled into this place during our island walk. We’re glad we did. The beer was cold, the mixed drinks were large, and the food was tasty. We had the wings, well done, with sauce on the side — we did the sweet and tangy. Good stuff! What’s better, the prices. Throw all that together, We ended up stumbling out very satisfied!

Want to start by saying the staff seems wildly overworked. when we came in, there was no hostess, so we weren’t sure if it was seat yourself or not. we found someone to talk to about the one table that was open. she said, “it’s a 4 top and you’re 5, so that’s not going to work”, but offered us no opportunity to wait for a larger table to open up. the table in question had been left unbussed. my group and i were starving, so since no one bothered to offer us guidance, we bussed the table ourselves, pulled a chair from the lovely couple next to us, and sat down. we were greeted eventually, and threw out the whole order. our server ended up being great. both the Margherita pizza and the plain pizza were good. the bone-in and boneless wings were average bar food, but certainly not disappointing. their draft list looked great but i stuck with mixed drinks. the cranberry juice looked and tasted more like grenadine, which they could have just told me. it’s a bar with typical pub food down the shore. would go back there but with different expectations.
Boy did this place go downhill over the past couple years. Food is pretty good. LOTS of shady characters drink here and hang out around this place. Beware!!! Nice places in the area to consider are The Waterfront and Owens.

We went to this bar on 8/27/23 where my friend was denied entry after providing a US issued ID, however the bouncer would not let them in without(and in emphasis) of a US drivers license or US passport. After explaining that this ID was issued and having proof, he felt they were still foreign and would not let them in, showing how INCREDIBLY RACIST the bounce was. DO NOT GO HERE.

Food was straight up NASTY. Spinach dip was pure cream cheese with school-grade Tostito’s and tacos were like mush with coleslaw. I left to go get food on the boardwalk. Only giving it 2 stars because the drinks were decent and my waitress was nice.

The bartender outside gave my family and i a problem the second we walked in. She was unprofessional and rude. She was screaming at me, my father and my little cousins. We have had a house in wildwood for 18 years now and this establishment is one of our favorites, a place we have been coming to at least once a week for years now. I myself own my own restaurant and it is Unacceptable to have anyone, even a worker act like that at her job and in front of a bunch of other customers who were also disgusted by her behavior. Needless to say me or the rest of my family will not be coming back. We want to enjoy the atmosphere we spend a lot of money on. Not be talked to negatively.

Food is horribly inconsistent. The first time we went I was thrilled with the food and service. The second time it took 25 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us once seated. And they werent busy. The food was just decent that time. The third and last visit, service was horrible and the food was worse. The waitress was rude and gruff. She made snarky comments about how little she cared about anything. The food came out uncooked, and we were yelled at for asking it do be done a little bit more. What a disappointment! The beer selection is great - and the place works as a bar. But forget about it if you plan to eat there.

Huge disappointment! We ordered the garlic wings for appetizer and they were good. But my husband got a burger and it was tasteless as was my Crab Cake sandwich and my bun was ice cold. We won’t be coming back.
One of the best happy hours in wildwood, our server chris was fantastic, very helpful and a quick worker Happy hour is 8 hours long and can never beat 1.50 millers. The salads were fresh and delicious and the burgers were really good. The beer list was very long and had a great selection. My favorite part was the outside patio was dog friendly and they bring water bowls for the dog. Would recommend to all!!!

Would give no stars with I was able to. I’m 21 with a PA license and they rejecting my ID. I told them to call to the cops and he gave me the rudest response. Funny because they let me in last night. The people there definitely need training on what a PA ID looks like because they clearly know nothing.

Open all year round, and stays busy through out weekends during the off-season. The bartenders and wait staff are friendly and accommodating. I’ve sat at the bar and in the dining room 🍽️ Can’t go wrong either way!
Excellent restaurant and bar! Revolving craft beers on tap is a huge bonus. The food was excellent and well timed. We had an 8mo old and the service was great. The outside was not open though looks like it has great potential. I will defiantly come back with friends... thanks and we will meet again
Outstanding food. Service was awesome. Joe working the outside bar was the best. The clam casino pizza was incredible. We got the spinach artichoke dip and it was, well incredible. If you are in Wildwood and dont stop here, well you missed a great spot. Joe gave me several samples of the craft beers and told me a little about them all. Steered me to the right beer. Two stars, one for the beer selection and one for having decent food. The table service is atrocious. The wait staff is oblivious to restaurant norms such as serving the appetizers before the main course, serving meals for children prior to or together with meals for adults, and counting the people sitting at a table and bringing the right number of cups, straws, napkins, etc. We tried to cancel one of the appetizers we ordered but the wait person informed us that we didnt order it. Perfect...the self-canceling post-meal appetizer. Sit at the bar.

I suggested Goodnight Irenes for my new brother and father in law to go and grab a few beers. Theyre here visiting me, my wife, and our new baby. They were kicked out after 45 minutes for not tipping the bartender after they ordered a few beers. They are over the top nice and respectful people and simply not tipping a bartender for every beer they open is not the norm where they are from.
Have been here before enjoyed the food and great beer selection. Very unfriendly vibe this visit. Doubt I will be back.

Just ordered through door dash. Pizza was so cooked my son sounded like he was eating chips when he was eating the crust. I ordered boneless buffalo wings and got chicken tenders. Don’t mind, just confused. I had the crab cake sandwich that was most likely in the fryer too long, or the oil they fried it in was burnt. The Cassie fries though...definitely did not disappoint...my favorite part of the meal by far. My fiancé had the bbq burger and said that it was dry and over cooked. I’m hoping that this is because they were super busy and behind on orders. I’m not saying to completely discredit this place...just be cautious on what time you order and what is in your order.

Was there last week and I have to say itll probably be my last time ever setting foot into this place. The last few times the service wasnt great, the food came out wrong and the drinks were even wrong.. And God forbid you speak up. Its like youre a bother.. We ended up cutting our trip short here and just headed home. This place is nothing like it used to be. The time before last we witnessed a fight and drag down session.. Its sad to see the way its become. Its not the worst in the world but for us locals, many wont be returning.
Couldn’t even get in the door, despite the fact that we patronized the bar one night and brought a table of 13 for dinner another night. Arrived with 5 adults, and a rude man ran down the street as we were walking in all yelling for us to take out IDs. We actually thought he was kidding. 3 of us were obviously much older than 21 at 41, 46 and 51, and 2 looked like they needed to be carded. I didn’t bring a wallet with ID as I was out with my husband to grab a drink and something to eat, for which I was berated by him saying he’s 60 years old and carries his ID everywhere he goes. I then asked if he was really turning the 5 of us away to which he answered yes and have a good night. We patronize bars and restaurants frequently, and have been more than generous and empathetic during this awful time, but this can’t be this arrogant guys first go around. Sorry, Good Night Irenes! Word of mouth goes a very long way!!
Marvelous beer selection! At least 30 beers on tap and even some local brews from Cape May Brewery. Service is awful though, espeacilly Charles the bartender. He had no personality and was not attentive at all! Food looked good and they have a brick oven.
Absolutely horrible. I have no idea how people like this place. It wasnt even busy and service was slow. There were several tables with trash and cups on them because the servers never cleaned up. The tables we had were extremely sticky and even wipping them down with our own babywipes it was still sticky. My waitress never checked on us or gave us silverware. I asked her 3x for a knife (it wasnt busy whatsoever) and she never got me one so i had to get up and ask someone else. French onion soup had dried out hard cheese on it and wasnt even filled up all the way, the bowl was also small, i sent it back, nor worth 7 dollars. Salty mermaid, owens, and dogtooth charge 5 for theirs and its bigger and way better. I will not be returning.
The kielbasa sandwich was okay. The mozzarella sticks, were Huge, nachos and french onion soup were very good and cheesy. The french dip was very good but needed more au jus on the side. Onion rings were sooo good. Everyone from our party of 10 was satisfied besides the kielbasa sandwich.
The staff was very rude, gave everyone a hard time. Constantly accused everyone of having fake ids and eventually broke a real id. Went back the next day to complain and manger was not even available to talk.

The way that the bar is shaped, if you sit at the part of the bar closest to the door, you have a chance of being ignored by the bartenders. After my boyfriend finished his first drink he was immediately asked if he wanted another one. I, on the other hand, finish my drink and am completely ignored by 2 bartenders for about 20 minutes before I ask THEM if I can get another drink. There was also a grown man who was clearly a local at our end of the bar, literally screaming at the top of his lungs and being completely obnoxious. He was sitting right in front of the door and his attitude was actually scaring people away. Yes this place has an extensive beer menu but they have a nonexistent mixed drink menu which is kind of inconvenient for someone who wants something other than beer. The only reason I would go back is for their mac and cheese. Its listed as an appetizer and it was probably the best mac and cheese Ive ever had

Typical Wildwood bar trying to suck the money out of your wallet. If you are over 25 dont even think of going. Only caters the young. We thought would be a good place to go because of their large beer selection. Yes, selection is OK for beer town, but need to climb over the beer pong tournaments to get to bar. When the bartender gave us the beer, buddy put up an American express card and they told him did not take AMEX. Then offered a visa card and said machine was down....It was a quick way to take cash vs offering the machine. We then ordered a shot for each...shot was not even one ounce. We challenged the bar-tender and then started challenging us on why were even at the bar.....Last time I visit this place
If i could give zero stars i would. Took 5 min to get seated. Once seated not one waitress came up to us. Waiting 20 min and walked out. Hostess should push the waitresses more to acknowledge the customers.

This is my go-to place to grab a drink. Its got a nice, clean pub feel with tons of great beers on tap. In the summer I love sitting at the outdoor bar with friends after a day of work or a long bike ride.

Great microbrewery select and the food is very good. I suggest have the spicy fries with cheese, a hand-tossed thin crust pizza, boneless wings or the cheese-steak.

A drunk individual at the bar gives my girl the finger to her face for asking him (politely) to move so she can shoot (beerpong night), i punk him he iwalks away, he comes back my girl gives him the finger (which she had the right to- but shouldnt have) the bouncer gets in my girls face and is screaming at her, i intercept to tell him this guy started problems earlier to which he doesnt care and continues to scream at my girl, i get in his face to tell him he should do his job and hes not gonna scream in my girls face (what kind of a man screams at a girl) to which he waits for the bouncer behind me to grab my arms so Im defenseless and the tough guy grabs me by the throat and throws me out for defending my girl, this guy is a coward, if anyone knows who he is, mid 30s brown hair 62, 63 he put his hands on my girl, waited til i was defenseless and put his hands on me, if he or someone who knows him sees this contact me we can settle this like men since hes a coward who puts his hands on women and people that are already restrained instead of on the people who deserve it, dont waste your money here, completely classless place, i want the bouncers name and information, and an explanation on why people like this hold employment at this establishment contact me, what a piece of dirt, the employee reflects the business, good night irenes is as good as the woman abuser coward they pay to abuse their customers, go somewhere else

Service was terrible. I ordered Philly chease steak pizza pie by pointing it in menu. I was offered chease steak first and than once I showed my order in menu again I was offered pizza chease steak.
Amazing food,drinks and service.Everyone is super sweet and nice.thr food is amazing with great portion sizes and the prices are good.
This is great place to go for a beer. The selection is really nice. Prices are fair for the area. This place gets really busy on the weekends.
