This was my first time at Spyce & I have to say it was nice. Great music & even better a live DJ. There were alot of great aspects to it, along w/ some needs improvement. Ill start w/ the decor which was beautiful. There were chandeliers everywhere w/ purple & blue lighting. On the tables were votive candles. There were different dining locations. We were seated by the bar near the Dj booth in booth which made for intimate dining. I had a Peach Sensation and my husband had a Passion fruit mojito. He said his was tasty & as for me mine was just ok. I asked for a lime to add some tartness to balance out the over powering sweetness from the simple syrup. We then ordered a pitcher of the Passion fruit mojito and it was a good choice. For appiziter we ordered a sample platter which came with chicken/beef/pork empanadas, fried pork & fried chicken & calamari. We enjoyed it but there was a old oil smell to it, they just need to change the oil frequently. Next we had the Shrimp Mofongo, had good flavor but the plantains were not mashed enough. My husband had Salmon & mashed potatoes, it was delicious. Overall, drinks should be made well balanced, &replacing oil frequently makes for the best flavor to all fried goodies...
Needs to hire better security, felt totally unsafe after a fight broke out Saturday night. One older Male security guard was worried about phones recording more than his job. Which is to break up the fight which had 2 or 3 security guys struggling. Keep in mind the fight was between 2 girls in heels which escalated to 2 groups of 5 mostly females, maybe 3 males (which were let back in after fight). While security guard 👨🦲stood on the side of the bar smoking a cigarette. In a place that wont allow you to use a vape pen?. An he was also very rude. Now on to Drinks , my tequila sunrise didnt have orange juice in it. Tasted horrible. I recommend blue long island ice teas though. Music was ok. I dont recommend going at night. There is no dress code. I seen a girl in bicycle shorts and a tshirt.Totally over priced 50$ for these 3 drinks. Can you even tell me what those drinks are supposed to be? One looks like iced coffee the other disappointment .
Great rice and chicken, my girl liked the mofongo. Enpenada, pork ND chicken appetizer was good too.Potato salad, nah.Female bartender didnt want to take my drink order. Said to give it to the server. Might be what they do to add to the bill. Not sure. Was weirdFood and drinks were good, sangria was watery with all that ice. Great music after 930Dont know what that was before 930.Lounge vibe strong. House music was greatGreat female bouncer, servers and staff were great. Needed a chair and the guy was responsive. Very good vive
This place has the best Brunch parties in the entire NYC area. The food & hookah is amazing. The music and sound system is out of this world. The service is wonderful. The bathroom are very well kept and cleaned and the bathroom attendant is very nice and friendly. Best place to celebrate any occasion!!
Not a place for brunch. The unlimited drinking is from 1-3 yet they don’t open till 1 and u stay online for at least 20 min .. u wait on another line for coat check and then another line till u get seated. We didn’t get seated for another 15 the waiter barely came by but that’s because it’s a big place the mimosas were just iced down. Good place to go dance and club but not for brunch in my opinion.
I’ve been to this place at least twice. Once for brunch and again during the night setting. The food for brunch was Incredible and prices were reasonable. Highly recommended. The music is great too, it is diverse with edm, rap, and Latin. I actually preferred the brunch setting. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I wasn’t in love with the hookah. Wasn’t very strong and burned out quickly.
I give this place 1 star and thats only because of the DJ. I came here for Brunch and to be honest their food is disgusting! They also do not leave a pitcher of mimosas for you to drink while you are there. Which i do not get because you pay $40 for food and unlimited mimosa til 4 pm. Their employees are also rude and service sucks! Not to mention the bathroom is nasty and smells like a basement.I will not recommend coming here at all. Please save your money and go somewhere else.
Save the money and stress. Probably the only saving grace at this place was Gio the host who took the time to listen to my complaints. And the DJ was pretty good, a little bit of everything and read the crowd. We made reservations for a group of about 15 people for Sunday brunch but were asked to wait at the door on arrival, so forget about trying to surprise your friend if thats your plan. We were greeted by a disgruntled bouncer who said the whole group had to be there before we could go in, then started shaking people down for $20 a minute later so we could skip the line. Mind you, its $40 cash inside already. We asked if he could at least put our cake in the fridge while we waited, which he took inside, but to our great disdain, found this cake next to the hostess where it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes while we were on line. Needless to say we were upset, since they knew the party had a cake when we made the reservation for which we were told we had to pay a $25 cutting fee. Thats all well and good if the cake is even still standing, right? After asking the hostess to put the cake away, a second bouncer seemed to be unaware that we were one group and kept yelling at everyone to pay up or step aside (at pretty close range) even though we informed her there was one person with all the cash who was handling it.Once inside, they seated our group in 3 separate tables, so everyone was scattered and serving us the bottomless mimosas became a hassle. Speaking of mimosas, I was not served one until about an hour of being there and expressing my complaints to the host. Theres a time limit for the bottomless, 2 hours I believe, and I was informed that there were only two hostesses for the entire club serving the mimosas. That is unacceptable. We had to constantly flag someone down to serve us, but nevermind that, youre basically paying for bottomless orange juice. We ended up buying 3 bottles, but that did not make service improve..The food is served buffet style, and restocking was an issue. I had to remind staff twice that there were no plates, no eggs, no french toast and the man at the meat station was handing out slices of fat. If youre going to serve them two tiny slices, at least make sure theres meat on it!Be prepared to pick up your own plates at the end of your meal, because no one ever came around to pick up the table or clean anything. We ended up gathering our own table and placing it in a nearby dirty dinnerware bin.The place brought out the cake when asked, but never bothered to come back around to cut it after about 20 minutes of sitting there, so we ended up reboxing and just cutting it ourselves at home. hey, at least they didnt charge for the cutting fee.
Great place went on Saturday for brunch. The new outdoor space is great! Amazing atmosphere. Music was good not to loud so you can still have a conversation with your friends. Food was great when it came out had a great time would definitely revisit during the summer
This spot did not have hookah, as it had in the past. The do not attend to your table we got 1/2 cups of mimosa. The did not have utensil to eat from the buffet. (,food was good) the manager was very nice to give a comp bottle. Unfortunately the place has not been impressing. I will never come back. Very disappointed in the service. Had to also travel 2 flights of stairs to use the bathroom. (In heels)
If I can give them zero stars I would!! Do not go to this place. False advertising brunch from 1pm to 4pm, a lie!! They stop refilling your drinks at 3pm you are moved out the main room to the smaller room at exactly 330pm, with no music! Then they are forcing you out the door, way before 4pm. The security guard cursed out the birthday. They double charged our party after the despot was paid!! Literally a terrible experience!! Dont give them your money!!
My belly dance troupe hosted a dinner at Càvo. We had a fabulous time. Jerry helped us make the experience wonderful. The servers I forgot their names were all super helpful. The food was great. Definitely going back. :)
I wish I can give this place a zero. We decided to celebrate my brothers birthday with a nice brunch this Sunday. We spent over $2000 in this place. But at the end of the night the owner a big Russian bald guy decided to start trouble with us. My husband got hit with a bottle. This place is not safe!!!!
T E R R I B L E !! Save your time and MONEY!!!!So, I celebrated my birthday here and it was the MOST DISAPPOINTING PLACE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED TO DATE!!! My birthday took place in February, I’m still upset.. here is a list as to why:1. No matter. If you have Booked reservations- you must wait on the line. Which is disorganized. While waiting on line their I noticed their rating from dept of health during that time was a D.2. They did not have my table ready stuck my party and I , in a table in the corner. By the kitchen and without enough seating space.3. “Unlimited Mimosa” LIES. They provide 1 full champagne flute upon you being seated. With nothing at the table. No water, no juice, no mimosas!!! You literally have to chase down the waitress. After running around to find her .. there was no sense of urgency AT ALL.. for her to gather all 10 of us drinks. They are completely unorganized.4. I spoke with the manager- Still nothing. He sent over a 1 drink for my troubles.5. The service is terrible. I mean this is the biggest place where ever you go. This plays a big piece on how the evening plays out.I am truly embarrassed that. I invited my friends and family out for an event and have it turn out this way.I reached out afterward- I never received a call back. Worst experience EVER!!!!
I found this place via Instagram, they were advertising on the old Studio Square’s page. I figured I’d check it out for a Thursday Happy Hour, hoping it would have the same vibe. I was VERY wrong. Although the drinks were 2-for-1, they were diluted. Our bill was wrong, they charged us for more drinks than we ordered. And through it all, the bartenders were EXTREMELY rude. I guess they figured gratuity is included, so why bother. First and last time I’ll go here.
This was for sure one of the worst experiences I have had at a nightclub thus far. I was part of an event that had gave us VIP tickets to enter the club. We were all put in our own line where we waited about 45 minutes!!!! May I say it was 30 degrees out! And then then when they finally decided to let people in they only allowed female in!!! What type of sexist thing is that? Both females and males at the event paid the same price to get into this establishment. I felt as though it was very inappropriate and unprofessional. Hated the scenery and the drinks were butt!!! Needleless to say I will NEVER be coming back to this nightclub!!! EVER! I dont recommend it !
SAve your time and money! This place needs better management point blank! I stood outside for almost an hour before stepping inside. The main problem is that have their whole system is effed up! If you not getting bottle service then you have to wait. Then there’s the people on the line that always “know somebody” inside the club and they would walk right in. Then the place ain’t even all that and they charge close to 300 bucks for a bottle. Keep in mind it’s the 750ml size bottle not the 1 liter. Music was just all right and hooka service sucked. Waited half hour for the first hooka and refills took longer than that!!! I could see this place going no where in the upcoming months unless they get it together!
I got to Cavo by 6pm, so there were tons of parking around. Not sure if its the same at a later time. This bar/restaurant has great design, very catchy. the bar sits in the middle of the restaurant with a hugh tv hanging on the wall. The hostess and staff is very attentive and friendly, always smiling.Pretty good selection of wine and pretty decent cocktails, but lacking in the Scotch and Beer department. The Food was excellent: taste great, good presentation and good portion. We had:MUSSELS (Tommys favorite): RecommendedOCTOPUS: RecommendedCHILEAN SEA BASS (Dinos favorite): very goodLAMB CHOPS: ExcellentTheir signature dish (a picture on the dinner menu on their website, third picture down): these huge shrimps with fried stuff wrapped around it: Excellent.I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come here with my friends again.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I got served mimosas in Dollar store PLASTIC CUPS (not even the good kind). 40$ cash and 5 $ coat check for dry eggs, burnt beacon, hard waffles, saltless rice and stew.... the only upside was the DJ was great. You don’t get offered water or anything else.. would never come back. Such a waste of money.
I went here last night with a friend. It was newly decorated and the set up was very appealing. I met the bartender Carla who has a friendly, genuine, open, personality. She made me one of the best Mojitos I have ever had. Carla is very intelligent and smart. Carla knows how to work the bar. She has the ability to converse and enguage all of her customers, and at the same time she checks on you and everyone constantly if you need another drink. She is a great bartender who is able to multitask efficiently
Went last Saturday (3/23/19). The music was good, hookah was good. A refill was $25 cash. The music also took a long time to switch up. It was only the last 20 minutes of dancehall/reggae. Anyways, avoid working with a promoter called WILLIE. He promoted me a $695 package, said it was okay if I got there by 1AM. The owner forced the waiter to make me pay $1,072. I spoke to Willie at the club as to why Im being charged so much more. He said he will handle it. He left!! As he was leaving he was avoiding eye contact and I still asked if it was okay, being that he said he was going to speak to the owner. I have the text messages still. I ended up paying so much more money, I wasnt able to leave as much gratuity for the waiter, which was amazing. I cant remember his name. But, he was so amazing and really made our experience great for my boyfriends 29th birthday. JUST AVOID WILLIE. Promoting and not following through makes it bad for the business and it sucks that its all because of that one person I will not returning. Thank you to the staff of Spyce who still did their best to make our first experience a great one.
One star to get on the board.... they don’t even deserve it.....If you are planning to throw a party for someone special and you want dining, bottle service REFRAIN from booking at this place. My sister planned a 40 birthday party for my BIL...she had 35 guest.... she spent thousands of Dollards including food n drinks.... we get there no drinks passed around for one hr.... not even water.... the prefix menu had the price of the type of menu they chose... my sister had to have them removed the price n print other menus..... the food took forever to come and everyone received food at a different times.... so you had some ppl eating and others looking.... so embarrassing... then they forgot the salad that was written on the prefix menu ... so NO SALAD for her guest.... they said.... “ we will bring it with the food”.... never happened... they offered shots instead... NO THANK YOU... how about you deduct that from the prefix price for each and every one of her Guest? .... the CAKE... we got a customized fondant cake that we had to go get out in the island like 2 hrs away...it looked liked an old barrel of whiskey it had three mini bottles of jack Daniels on top and had his name happy 40th and written on the bottom of the cake on the trade “aged to perfection”.... we got a 40 birthday candle to go with it.... the cake comes... ONE HOUR after we asked for it.... and this is what I think happened based on what the cake looked like.... they dropped the cake... so the bottles were layed flat on top of the cake where the damaged was “attempted” to get covered.... and “aged to perfection” is missing some letters so you really don’t know what is written on the trade....then they implied I brought the cake like that... the candels were MIA... they said the candles were broken.... so how about you bring one of those flashy sparkly things that light up the room when you bring bottles???? Or maybe one of your stupid candles???? No that did not happend.... so he DID NOT BLOW candles on his birthday party...some manager came to see what can he do about the cake? Well can you replicate the same cake again... right now when everyone is ready to sign happy birthday? Offcourse not! ..... bottle service??? Took about another hr to happend.... some of her guest left at this point...can you imagine my sister’s embarrassment? .... then we get the bill and they are saying how they didn’t charge my sister for x amount of drinks to compensate the salad.... but the bottle service was charged as 1200 instead of 850... there you go you get something complimented in the house.. toma! 400 bucks latta. So thank god they drank the buzz n made the best of it after all... n I’m sure the place will get packed again next weekend... in my opinion if you are looking to just hang out n have a drink this place will do... but they do not have the experience to service a big party... n they charge A LOT for the type of services they offer. Also you may like the fact that you can rock your t-shirt and jordans... they don’t seemed to have a dress code!
Food is very good but a bit on the pricey side when you take into consideration the portions. The sangrias are a must to get the full experience of this European Mecca. The decor gets a redo frequently and seems to outdo themselves every time. The quality of people has changed over the years but thats understandable with the bad economy.
THE MIMOSAS FOR THE BRUNCH ARE TRASHHHHHHHWent there to celebrate a bdaythe line takes forever to get people in. The line for the food is so disorganized I spent like 45 waiting in line for food. The waitress had to be called every time we needed more mimosas and they were stand offish as hell too.I have been there before when it wasn’t a brunch day and it was so much better.
Great food. Horrible service. We sat down to eat dinner at 830. Waiter was repeatedly late serving drinks. Didn’t get our main course till 11pm. The manager took off 25% but then we had to track down the waiter to ask for our bill. What’s more they almost lost my credit card. Never again.
This was the worst experience Ive had in a NYC night club. Im 30 years old and was never ever treated the way I was like in this club. I went with my family to celebrate my cousins 21 birthday which is always a traditional grandiose affair. from the minute we stepped into this club the bottle girl (blonde) SAVANNAH was very nasty, rude and pushy. She was trying to get us out of the club and fabricated multiple stories to try and get us to the point of exit. She insisted we had to move from the spot she placed us, tried to get us to buy two additional bottles after already purchasing four, and kept checking up on our bottles to see when we would finish. We were KICKED OUT BEFORE 2am and I blame that terrible bottle girl. You dont hire GIRLS to do a womens job which in a business like this, professionalism and customer satisfaction is key ! No one heard us out and they basically robbed us and ruined my cousins 21 birthday. Dont ever come here.
Sypce in Astoria is a great location for a Sunday Funday!!! They have the best Sunday Brunch party that is only $40 (cash only at the door). When I say brunch party, I mean PARTY like a Saturday night in the club. I will break down this review. Make sure you make a reservation beforehand.FOOD - It is buffet style, unlimited food, and I recommend you go to the buffet twice. The food options at 1:00pm is a little different than what they have at 3:00pm. Keep in mind the buffet is from 1:00pm-4:00pm. The price also includes unlimited mimosas, and trust the waitresses keep the mimosas flowing. Mimosas are only served until 3:00pm, so take advantage of them.MUSIC - Live DJ spinning all the hits, in both rooms.DRESS CODE - Dress to impress, jeans are totally fine. If you wear heels, bring flats so that you can keep the party going. Men jeans and sneakers are ok, just look nice.AMBIANCE - There are go-go dancers that perform on two mini stages, there are cool mascots that go around, and last time there was a person playing drums. Also, they play soca and do a follow the leader dance (keep your napkin for this part because it is so much fun).Great place for any type of event and can accommodate large parties as well. They also have a great party on Saturday nights as well and the place is usually packed.
No valet parking. Twenties crowd. LOUD. Food and service were great. We read somewhere that the place was Greek, but we could not find anything resembling that, except, I guess, for the female patrons, who looked like demi- naked godesses ( yes, this is my envy talking)Our decision for next time was to eat there and find some other place for dancing.
I must say , we were very disapointed with the food here especially considering all of the other wonderful restaurants in the area...There were some good points though. The ambience was really nice and the seating arrangement was very spacious. However the food was quite bland and the portions were dietary. We started off with 11 dollar glasses of sangria which was more like koolaid with a few apples in it. Extremely small amount of alchohol in it.......we had the cevice for an app which had very little fish but a lot of the other stuff like the peppers and onions..She had the mussels dish which was more shell and less meat...heck some shells didnt even have the meat in them.....ok so the waiter made this big to do about the blackend bass special....not only was it very bland , it came with nothing. No veggies or potatoes or anything...it was totally lacking , the waiters only concern seemed to be pushing more of those overpriced virgin sangrias.. We spent before tip 80 bucks for what in all honesty shouldve been about 35 dollars worth of food and liq. Life goes on , people come here for the club and lounge scene late night....as for dinner , go somewhere else first
No, no and no. Id rather pay a cover charge to avoid waiting on line for something that is just OK at best. You have got to be kidding me. Dissapointingly rude front door service. I would never go back there. Come down off your high horses, its a lounge...in Queens...with no valet and no where to park.
Picked up a deal on Living Social. Wifey wasnt pleased with my random Tuesday night choice of Greek Cuisine. The ambiance, decor and wait staff was great. But we already knew that for we had come to Cavo on numerous saturday nights to just spend time dancing and have a few drinks. This visit was a week day and we were ready to eat. My wife after a long day with the books and I after a days work. The meal began with bread and butter. We ordered fried zucchini and watermelon salad as an appetizer; 2 of the only 3 things which were on the Living Social menu. Both of us really enjoyed it. It wasnt until the entrees came out that I saw a frown on my wifes face. The Branzini she ordered, as per her words, tasted weird. When I tried it, I found it to be tasteless. My skirt steak, although was juicy, was extremely over salted. The desserts were really good. We had crepes and baklava. But still, before we left, the wife grabbed my arm looked me in the eyes very seriously and said, can I ask you for a favor? Lets never come here again. My lady has spoken. We will be searching for better Greek cuisine for another random Tuesday night.
Inside is nice, new and freshly decorated. Location is right between two two CitiBike stations, and R, M, and late night E trains two blocks away. Valet parking is a mess on Fridays and Saturday, avoid. But once inside, staff are nice and friendly.
First I have to say that the staff at CAVO could not do enough for us that day, they were unbelievably attentive. We started with our ceromony in the garden, reception followed. How awesome it was to have a cocktail outside during a ceromony! Then the reception indoors where the entire main floor was our dance floor with the band and DJ set up in front of the huge windows....It was also the perfect 80 degree day with a light breeze, sun shining through into the main floor made for the perfect lighting. As far as decor this place is just incredible!! Always keeping it fresh, changing only the slightest of things that just make the right impact! All of our guests could not believe how outstanding the food(eric miller, awesome), the service and the ambiance could be found in the heart of Astoria.....Cavo was our first date and we were so happy they could accomodate us for our occasion...Oh Yes, Anna, the event coordinator, knows the space so well and without her it probably would not have gone so smooth.....I recommend them to everyone for any future event!!!Thanks again,Tommy & Kelley Gallo
The “security” are extremely unprofessional and useless. They favor people they know and wont throw them out when they are the ones starting problems but will threaten to throw out the other people involved. The girls who you order from are also rude and tried to double charge us and when confronted claimed “ she wasnt the drunk one so she knows what shes doing” but when we asked where are the extra bottles they charged us for she walked away and didnt come back. Sketchy place overall.
Today I decided after a long time away from clubs and lounges that I would return to this night life. BUT, this location was disappointing. It was empty on a Friday night. Our party of 4 was distraught and betrayed with the false advertising on their social media of being a lit club. Their mojitos, something that even a child could make they messed up. That was an overpriced lemonade not a mojito. Overall it was not spycy, but mild.
Lied to us saying that all the tables r reserved unless we buy bottles, FORCED us to buy bottles saying we couldnt use the empty seats otherwise. Then after midnight everyone just sat around every where while we were hit with a tab of $515. Didnt even let us keep the bottle we didnt drink, because we were forced to buy 2 and there were only 5 ppl. HATE IT! NEVER EVER GOING BACK! OH AND NOT TO MENTION charged our friends 20 pp even thoigh we got bottles! H O R I B B L E!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday brunch was very unorganized.Made 3 different lines. Music was extremely loud, unable to socialize with my crowd which was a total of 3 of us including me.
• Here are the rules for Commercial Properties: ( You may place trash containers out for collection 1 hour before an establishment closes if the private carter picks up after closing or within 2 hours of the actual collection if the private carter picks up during the day.)The restaurant SPYCE does not care about their neighbors. They leave 12 garbage cans around the corner from their restaurant on a residential block on 43rd Street 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Do know why they dont leave the garbage cans in front of their restaurant? its because it is unsightly, smelly, annoying and quite frankly something you shouldnt do to other people unless you dont give a sh-t.When they remove their garbage cans and obey the rules, I will change my review and thank them for correcting their mistake.
This club used to be soo good but music now sucks!!! You cant dance with rap!! And most of the crowd were standing like slightly moving but no dancing. I am not going here anytime soon - they arr faaaaar from any greek or medditranean club. Music sucks big time dj was horrible!
So much fun, great place great club. Dancers and entertainment awesome!! Beautiful place! Great music and staff on point. Expensive but worth it! Loved this place and highly recommend going here!!
1 hr to get a bottle served! Tips included(thats not a tip in case these guys dont know the definition) and the 25 dollar picada has like 3 pieves of meat and 3 yucas lol what a joke. But the worst part is the peaking and distorted audio they have.
Excellent menu that offers food ranging from rustic to modern greek. Service is amazing, very friendly and knowledgable staff. on weekends, they transition from dinner to night club and have various entertainment such as gogo dancers, areal artists, dancing midgets, stilt walkers, and magicians. the decor is amazing. there is a lounge and a main roon as well as an outdoor garden. Its one more the more classy party destinations i have been to.
I went there last Friday with my girls and we had an amazing time ! The stuff was so friendly, and the music was fantastic! The place is not crowded yet ,couse they just opened up and Im sure that this will change very quickly .The Spyce is nothing else like old Cavo!
The atmosphere is great on Saturday nights.. Plenty of good music and overall very surprising if its bad. Service is not that great but I can live with that.. Great local spot if you live in AQ..
If you are thinking of having a great night out with friends at a safe, friendly, and fun environment then STAY AWAY from this place. I had a horrible experience here last night, and I wouldnt wish that on anybody else. DONT GO HERE.
It was an amazing experience, right from the ease of ordering food( and they have different flavors,Indian too) to getting one hardly took less then 5 minutes and the quality of food was fresh and it tasted yum👌🏼👌🏼
Vape type hookah straight trash keeps on turning off and you have to continue to mush three buttons like you playing an old school Super Nintendo at 35 dollars and it last 45 mintues. Lacking in spyce, 1 out of 5 stars
If you like to profile and drink to clips of songs this is great. If you looking to break a sweat and party, this is not the place. I want to say 80s generation. Not a club!
I had free admission with proof from Eventbrite ticket and they refused. This place lacks management. They had no idea they were listed in Eventbrite and did not honor the ticket I purchased from there. They lost my business
There was 2 dance rooms both mainly played spanish music, wasnt anything special about this place, had to walk down a flight of steps and around a corner to use the restroom, I made the best of it, wasnt really my scene though.
What a great place, remember to tip the valets and bartenders. The music rocks and so does the food and service. every time i have gone i have had a great time. Thank you all
I have been going to Cavo for years, once every few weeks i would say. Last night me and a friend decided to go only to be told at the door we needed to have girls with us. Are you F·$%&/( kidding me ? I didn´t know i was going out in the Meat Packing District here, this is Astoria where you have your full choice of bars and lounges you now CAVO things they are above all the rest making you wait in a line when you are ready to go in and spend some money ? Sorry Cavoi will not visit you again. You just lost 2 customers.
Came here for my best friend’s birthday party & had an Amazing time!! Brunch was delicious!! Definitely recommend for parties & girls day out!!!
Pure garbage! The outside part of the club is now closed, no lights, no music just a dark quiet smoking spot and the worst part of all they hit you with a 20$ cover unless you call for guest list. Not worth a dime
This place was racist. I went here for a co-workers birthday party and they just about turned me away saying they was not letting no one else in but let other people in that were behind me (white). My friend had to come to the door and let me in personally. Unbelievable!
$10 for an Amstel Light, $19 for a mix drink, $3 for water. ITS CHEAPER TO DRINK IN MANHATTAN. The DJ had no idea how to keep the crowd moving.
Worst club experience.. the staff have no idea what customer service is. I was there for New Year Eve and the server was no where to be seen after charging for the bottle service and also service charge.... For folks who wants to visit this place ... Good luck!!
Great service exquisite decor, open air, hospitable. Jonathan is one of the best servers and definitely made it feel like a party
The food is good plus very nice place we loved the outside area.the only problem is the door security acts like they were doing us a favor letting us in.terrible security staff training.no need for the CIA treatment when me and my girl are going out for dinner and drinks
Food, dinner and belly dancer were awesome. Mousaka, zuchini chips, lychee martinis... must haves. Great tunes to dance too@
They will most likely steal things from your jacket or purse when you check in. They don’t respect race or privacy. Definitely do not recommend
Horrible. Limited ended at 2:50pm .... and service was slow. Unlimited for $40 and they came around 3 times? They need more hosts?Wont be back
Wish I could leave zero stars! They didn’t change coal ONCE! Said we don’t do that and you have to get another hookah! I have never heard this before in any hookah place I’ve been to in my life!
Very good food, especially fish meals, the staff was very friendly and the service was excellent! After my visited I heard that this is very popular restaurant in the area.
Drinks were horribly sweet and the hookah was weak(electronic hookah) wouldnt go here again and the white decor is horrible.
WHO IN THE THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD CHANGE THE SPACE THIS HORRIBLY! THE LOOK WAS WHAT MADE THIS PLACE WELCOMING, UGGHHH I LOVED CAVO BUT I WILL NEVER VISIT SPYCE - DISAPPOINTED...AND WHY WOULD YOU PAINT OVER BRICK????? ONLY GIVING THIS 1 STAR BECAUSE I HAVE TO IN ORDER TO POST.
Brunch was definitely worth it! Music & the vibes were great!!!
For manager: on 09/18/19 fire that dj which playd a horrible music and kill all fun, evry decent girl was living the place after 30 min
Be prepared to wait outside while other people skip the line. It was freezing outside and doorman was rude. Not worth it and will not give these people my money. 👋🏻
Very nice, had so much fun. Excellent place to have a party
Love this place. Great music nice mix age good crowded..best night Friday night.😜👍
Its a nice place for Astoria residents, but they need to improve their service and most on the outdoor sitting
This place definitely exceeded my expectations in atmosphere and decor. Dishes are filling
3 for 3. Crazy cover charge, drinks are mediocre and overpriced. Let’s see what happens when I go next time.
Wow! This place is one of the worst places to go to. Please don’t spend $40 instead spend those $40 on a BEC and a six pack.
Check out their specialty drink menu. The flavor is of the charts!
Good club great drinks. Fairly decent atmosphere.
Terrible food, terrible drinks, terrible service. Go anywhere else.
Services is slow. If you cant handle the amount of people then they shouldnt have this many people in here
Not too ratchet but bumps really good music.
God awful food. Beautiful space. Pick your poison.
Always a problem inside and outside of this place

A very modern and fun place. I went to the brunch that seemed like the New Years Eve celebration because there were whistles, streamers, a lot of music, a lot of celebrations with spectacular food and not to mention everything else, a very pleasant atmosphere, a lot of people. young people in the center of Astoria is a very new place and they do not have to stop going, it is a must for the Walk they can take through Astoria
I loved the bar service, the girl was very attentive throughout the night!!I loved the service at the bar, the girl was very attentive throughout the night!!
Very bad service, the very inattentive waitress only serves well those she wants. I dont recommend the place or the brunch either.
