Interbelt Nite Club

My friend was over charged for drinks that she did not order. We only had one drink. She had three drinks and the bartender charged her more than that, when we went to order our first drink one of the male bartender’s slid a dirty cup and it almost slammed into ours. Female bartender was lovely. The music was great and the food was awesome. Make sure you keep your receipts.

We had a really nice time here after the Akron Pride Festival!! Male strippers were sexy as usual but the drinks were way over priced for having to pay $25 per person to get in…the drag show started way to late…12:30 is late. Other than that the service was good and the back patio/bar is really nice. They inside bathrooms are to be desired, dirty and run down. I’m honestly surprised that this place is still open.

This my first visit but my daughter loves coming here, so while we were visiting my Mom at AGMC, we decided to have lunch. What a cool place! Not crazy busy, (Tuesday) but several folks here. Our server, Jackie, was awesome! She was on it and took great care of us. We had the lasagna and stuffed manicotti, and both were delicious. Priced very reasonably. Great lunch!

Great atmosphere, patio experience is nice. I think a cover charge could 🤔 be enforced at the bar when ordering a drink rather than at the door. Leather nights, Ru Pauls Drag Race was here a few weekends ago. Great job to the workers who get the entertainment 👏 👍

Bar staff was great slow night patron wise doesnt seem nearly as popular as it used to be

Its sad to see how run down this place has become. Drinks are way over priced now and very watered down. Its a shame to call this even a bar when there are so many better ones in the area. If youre looking for a real drink go elsewhere.

I’ll start with the good. Lots of space to dance and have a good time, big bar, pool tables, dance floor, extra seating/ small tables, nice outdoor area.Cons, mixed drinks over $9 had 2 not really even a buzz, cover fee, parking lot sucks, not well lit kind of sketchy, the bathrooms are a joke the women’s bathroom only had 2 out of 3 stalls working no locks on the doors and the men kept using the women’s instead and not flushing, peeing all over the seats and crowding the restroom.There’s definitely better places to attend but the party we went to tonight was fun, other than the nasty bathrooms and expensive weak drinks we had fun.Odds are though I won’t be coming back very often unless there’s another leather party soon worth my time.

Used to really enjoy this bar, but this last time was disappointing. My main disappointment was that drinks are way overpriced, costing 9.50 on average for a simple mixed drink…not to mention the drink size is small as well. Bar service was slow, taking about 15 minutes to get my first drink and 10 every drink thereafter. Security has been reduced at the establishment, with the normal security staff that check for weapons not being present at the entrance. I will say that the drag queens put on a good show, interacting with the crowds throughout the night. Overall, this bar is a decent place to visit while in town, but could be improved with reasonable drink prices, improved security measures for guest safety, and better staffing behind the bar. 3/5.

I have never been here before. My best friend invited me, I never go out so I decided to try it out once. I got there and made a friend with a girl I knew from the restaurant I worked at. I’m not listing names for privacy purposes. I went outside to talk to the girl because it was too loud indoors to hear and we were just drinking water. I don’t drink. I never even go out like I stated before. Well apparently, the girl I met had some drama with somebody else and got into it outdoors, again, I was not involved I actually tried to help diffuse the situation. However, after the situation was in fact settled down, I was told I was banned from the club indefinitely and I don’t think I deserved to be told that. This doesn’t affect me much because I never go out anyhow, however, it is upsetting that the one time I do go out I’m now banned for not even being involved in an unfortunate situation. I do apologize for this review, but I’ve never experienced a situation like this before. I also have a strong burn on my arm and adverse reaction and blistering from the pepper spray used when I was trying to settle the two girls down. I may need to go to the hospital this morning for it because I can’t even bend my arm. The only thing I’ve learned from this situation is 1.) I know why I don’t like to go out. 2.) I don’t really like this place and will not be back. Like please give the bystanders a warning before you use pepper spray in a distraction especially because I was not involved in the fight. And please don’t ban people who are diffusing inappropriate situations you actually need more people that are willing to step in and calm situations before they escalate. My friends who I came with come here regularly and are also very upset for how I was treated in this situation.

The best gay club in Akron...they have a nice dance floor. Bartenders staff very Kindly and profesional, the latin night evey friday i highly recomended for my comunity. Good dj music by Dj Coralys...the owner Sr. Vernon is really a nice person.

Nice bartender. I would venture to say that the drinks are over priced for the market (Akron Metro) .The bathrooms completely lacked any kind of hand soap or dispenser. I did not see a hand washing station behind the bar. Serious concerns about sanitation and food and drink contamination come to mind.I would suggest that the management pay attention to the odor. The establishment smells heavily of urine.A friend that witnessed two drag queens blatantly urinating all over the floor and walls of the ladies restroom. My friend made the club management aware of the situation but was subsequently kicked out of the club instead of the drag queens.Apparently smoking is allowed in the bar. #progressive

Good music. Good crowd. I know quite a few straight people that go here because of the fun atmosphere. The poles are the biggest reason I go, no other club in the area has them. Dance floor is huge, drinks are strong! Cover charges are sometimes a bit pricey, always call before you make plans to go, cuz I know that I will not pay $15 just to get into a club...

My son won the drag show competition. It is every Thursday. Everyone should go , its a great show. College students that r members of the LGBTQ community and those that are not should come out. It has some great Queens in the contest, so come help your favorite win.

Went there a lot 10 years ago, and stopped back. All I can say it the place has grown better with age. Charlie our bartender was fantastic and personable. Cant wait to go back, and its a 2 hour drive for me!

I live Interbelt a lot... they have different options different days for different races...Friday is latin night is really and very fun. Saturday is like American music, thursday for college peoples, the place has a good staff of bartenders. The owner is really nice with me and my friends. They have pool tables, Good music too. I highly recommend Interbelt, ATM inside.

The audience and clientele is RAUNCHY but the shows and bartenders are awesome.this might be an isolated experienced but I had tipped the bartender more than 20% and had gone back for another round and the next drinks she gave me were QUITE stronger. 😛

I had a fun time! I’m straight and a Ally to the scene. I’m Appalled by what’s going on now. We can unite and conquer it with love. I will keep coming back because it’s a blast!

I sat at the bar for almost 15 minutes I asked two bartenders for a drink. They acknowledged me and continued to serve everybody else around me while I sat with no drink. I just got up and left. I guess Ill just go home on this Friday night.☹ pretty disappointing after paying a $5 cover just to sit at the bar with no drink!

Billed tonight as a dance party, it was all hip hop/rap not a single dance or house song played. Seems that the crowd is mostly young girls 18-21ish. Music stopped for about an hour for a drag show, which was also hip hop.If youre a young college kid then you may like it here. If you like dance music and a club scene then this isnt the place for you.

This was one of the very first clubs that I every went to as a fresh 18yo. Hip Hop Mondays are the best nights, but the other events through the week are good too. They usually have fliers posted and you can see what might catch your interest. They also host some of the best pageants in Ohio, so if you are looking for a variety of entertainment in one night, check out a pageant night!!

Im on Vacation and went there on a Monday to watch the drag show. When there were only about ten people in the bar. The bartenders were just grabbing each others butts and twenty minutes of not being served, another bartender came in and served my drink. The entire counter was empty but one bartender felt some type of way apparently and shoved a napkin holder into my phone as I was typing and told me that it went there and Id have to move. Ive been there years ago, but for my first experience in years...I would not recommend unless someone else was behind the bar

Went here tonight. Charge an insane cover just to watch a fight break out…. This was upon entry at midnight. 10 minute later music stops. Owner is where the DJ is trying to figure it out. I’d ask for my money back but it seems they need it more than I do

GREAT venue for drinking, dancing, and/or enjoying a drag show with friends, old and new. Large space, four-sided open bar, FANTASTIC music, friendly staff, fair prices! Definitely will be back to this popular dance spot in Akron!

They featured Rocco Steele and he never showed, they even charged $10/20 entrance and he wasnt theres only other side actors but not Rocco Steele

My son and daughter both had there 30th birthday parties here...The atmosphere is lively and fun with no fighting!!! Excellent place to get yo dance on 💃

Its an ok place to go to, but honestly not as locally popular or as exciting of a place to go to on a regular basis like it used to be.

The DJ John Hummel is very rude doesn’t even look at you just shoes you away when you try to request a song plays the same music every time

Showed up when they opened, door was locked and was told by staff they’d be open soon. Waited another 40 minutes and the door was still locked. If your website says that you open at 9, you shouldn’t still be closed at 9:40. Calling was useless as no one answered.

Definitely a fun place to go randomly with friends. I try to avoid their bigger parties though. Gets very peculiar when there are a lot of people there.

Went here sunday July 28 at 10 pm and they were closed even though their Facebook page website and Google say they are open today... Please update
