It does not disappoint. Atmosphere was amazing. Best bar tender ever! Josh was awesome! Tonight and the past 2 times was spur of the moment an we had the most fun at hour glass club in Alvin, Texas. Who would have thought. Come check them out definitely feel like part of the family!

Such a great neighborhood bar. This was my first time here. The bartenders were very sweet and attentive on a busy Saturday night. Great live music, crowd was very friendly, and I made a lot of friends! Super strong drinks, I only spent $25 the whole night (people also bought me plenty of drinks lol!) They also had Cheetos for sale haha I loved that. Definitely worth stopping by, you’ll have a great time.

If you’re looking for a bar with major southern hospitality and great locals, this is it. Joshua was an amazing bar tender. The music was great and the drinks were flowing! I also loved the two women bartenders. Definitely coming back!

This is my second time here and I really enjoyed myself! I’ve been to many different bars, and this one has a very homey vibe. The bartenders are all extremely friendly. The people were good vibes here! Thanks for a great night! I will be back! 😄

I have been twice. The first time was amazing. You do have to pay a fee, but it seemed really worth it since we had such a great time. The bartenders were great (a taller blonde and brunette). Went back a week or so ago and the brunette bartender was there and was amazing, but there was a different blonde lady bartender. She was extremely rude and ruined the vibes for myself and my friends. It also appeared to us that she was encouraging the regular patrons to be rude to us, laughing when one lady made fun of us while we were sitting right next to her. We ended up closing our tab early and went elsewhere. Very disappointed since I was excited to return. :(

Old school bar. Good drinks & drink prices, great bartenders, pool tables newly refelted, Dart boards, shuffleboard, Texas Holdem games cash and tournaments, it is a really nice little joint to hang out and play! Its just like Cheers but with more F-bombs 🤣 Live bands and/or karaoke every weekend and Bar Bingo every Wednesday. Definitely worth checking out at least once. You will most likely come back a lot!

Place was very chill. Just moved to alvin and reminded me of my favorite bar back home. Came after work to meet my girlfriend and friends. Place had great prices on drink, music was on point and all the locals were very friendly. Bartender told me they have live music on the weekend so definitely will be checking that out soon. Overall great place

Not a bad Bar. They had a livev band that was surprisingly very good. They have a couple of pool tables assessable. Tge waitress and bar staff were very friendly.

Was in town visiting family and a good friend of mine. It was is his birthday so we where out on the town and we stopped in. Had a great time good hometown little bar great people great prices. Most definitely will be going back on my next visit to see family

Ive only been once, and that was a few calendar pages back but have been to the parking lot quite a bit lately, taxiing a patron to and fro. When I did wander in, there were the normal sprinkle of weathered faces and saddened eyes, a barmaid whose cheer didnt quite fit and eyes of every kind judging friend or foe by the second step in. A greeting from a friend over by the pool table eased the cautious looks and everyone continued on in their camaraderie and draughts. Salud

Each time Ive been to the hourglass bar in Alvin texas, the atmosphere is inviting and the drinks are the best around. Id recommend this bar to any of my friends who live out of town to visit this place for an ice cold beer or mixed drink of their choice.

Have always had a great time, plenty of down home good folks that frequent and they make you feel right at home. Coldest beer in town, Great Bartenders that see to it you dont go thirsty. Safe and lit up well at night. Awesome entertainment on weekends.

Best Bar in Texas

First time here living in alvin for over 30 yrs, everyone welcomed me with open arms! I freaking love this place! This is my second family! Thank you for my first visit and loving me as part of the group! I love you guys!

We’ve been coming here for a couple of years and are officially considered regulars! Great local bar and excellent staff. Reasonably priced drinks and great service. Josh and Jamie are the best.

Hour glass is amazing. Love this place. Great crowd. AMAZING BARTENDERS. They know you by name when you walk in the door and have your drinks ready. Never a wait. Amazing place.

If You werent born and raised in Alvin, Tx. dont even bother going there. They are jealous and petty. Im from New Orleans and dont look or act like those people and have been treated badly since the 1st time I went there. Theres always fights and bad energies in there. You have to pay a yearly membership fee because theyre a private club. All of the people Ive spoken to say its because the owners put the yearly license fee on the customers. Idk about that but I do know if Youre decent, You have NO business there.

Great drinks great prices, sometimes a pretty entertaining crowd. all in all a good place to sit down and have a drink. The membership is worth it when you factor in how much money you save in the long run

They wont even let you finish a game of pool. Even if youre in the middle of the game and its 9 minutes to 2.

My friend plays in the band called Feel I came to see and help at the place. Not many people there on a Saturday night.

Surprised this place is even in business. So much smoke inside this bar, need to open a window or a fan so bad its like a smoke machine.

Love the hour glass, older crowd in the morning and a mixed age group at night, open 10am to 2pm 7 days a week.

Members only? Why? Theres nothing unique about this honky tonk except that they (still) charge a membership fee.

Fun club, crowd was friendly, karaoke was lively.

I have been coming here off and on for several years. I love this place and Allen is a wonderful man.

You have to pay a $10 membership fee but its worth it. They have plenty of bar games here.
