Great nightclub located inside the beautiful Tropicana casino very professional went for New Year’s Eve. I had a blast. Mark and Dan was phenomenal at the door helped me with anything that I needed. Rebecca was great. She assisted me throughout the night with anything that me and party needed Security was great overall everybody was nice professional. They played great music a great mix of hip-hop R&B a little bit of everything the DJ was on point recommend going there if you’re in the area. Thing I can say bad about this club is in VIP The furniture needs to be upgraded. There was rips in the couches, not big ones, but it was noticeable. Some new furniture in the VIP section will definitely make the club amazing
The one bouncer was extremely rude completely unprovoked. We waited in line to get in, had our ids out as well as the $20 cover. We got up to the door, and the bouncer looked my friend and I up and down and said “No you guys are too drunk to enter,” which is an insane thing to assume when I had no visible signs of intoxication. When I went back up to him to ask what the problem was, he said I had given an attitude, I find it weird that he’s around drunk people all night, but my “attitude” is what was prohibiting me from entering the building. I work at a bar as well, so I’m pretty educated on what visibly intoxicated people look like when they need to be cut off/flagged. Not to mention he allowed both my male friends in no questions asked, didn’t even give them a second glance. My friend then spotted a different bouncer a little further away, and she asked him why they weren’t allowing me in, when I was clearly not intoxicated to the point where I shouldn’t be allowed. That bouncer then asked me to walk in a straight line, to which I did 4 times in front of him perfectly fine. So he went up to his coworker and asked what the problem was since I was able to walk just fine, and to that he couldn’t give a good reason, he just stumbled over his words, saying something about “the bar manager not allowing it” and then told us to wait 20 minutes and we’d be allowed in. For the amount of trouble the bouncer gave me, it was still a cool club, and the bartenders were very nice and good at their jobs. However the bouncers need to be educated better on visible signs of intoxication.
Bouncer that’s ALWAYS there took my ID, asked for my address, which I happily provided, and then made me call the cops to get my ID back because he assumed it was fake. He didn’t scan it, hold it to light, flick it, NOTHING. He said if the cops came and my ID was real, he’d let me in for free. At this point, I obviously did not want to enter the club… I just wanted my ID back. So I was forced to call the cops (which he was friends with.. shocker). Before the cops came, he gave me my ID back (so I had to go through this for nothing, I literally would’ve just walked away if you wanted to racially profile me) and told me I couldn’t enter, when I literally told him I didn’t want to go in anyway. I just wanted my property back. I’m sorry you’re 40 and I’m too old for you to look at considering you let a 15 year old in with a bride banner on. Completely ruined my boyfriend’s birthday due to your own insecurities. Get a grip. I’ve unfortunately been in here plenty of times… the club is nasty, you leave with your shoes BLACK, your legs wet. Thank you for saving me from it honestly.
Wouldn’t recommend for folks 30+. It’s small and hot/poorly ventilated . I walked up and asked two bouncers what the cover was and they said $20. Waited in line (line moved quickly) and when it was our turn to get IDs checked the cover was magically $25. We stayed there all of maybe 30-45 mins. blah; I’m sure younger people would enjoy it
The DJ was great (DJ Fah D). The atmosphere was good in the beginning. However, making someone pay 100 cash for not dressing correctly is ridiculous especially when there were other people dressing the same. Drinks are around 15-20 dollars each. The website nor socials tell what the cover is. The cover is cash for anyone wondering.
SECURITY / BOUNCERS THAT WORK FOR THIS NIGHT CLUB BRUTALLY BEAT MY SON FOR THE WAY HE WAS TALKING TO HIS GIRL FRIEND. THEY ABOUT 6 OR 7 OF THEM JUMPED MY SON AND ALMOST KILLED HIM. THEY ARE MONSTERS AND HORRIBLE PEOPLE WHO DONT CARE ABOUT ANYONE. WE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE.
Been here 3 times and it’s always a great time! Hip hop, pop and r&b all night. Dancers on the bar. Definitely a brown people friendly environment but it’s a diverse crowd. There are bathroom attendants keeping it clean and safe. Best nightclub in AC.
Please dont waste your money on tickets for the comedy show. There was nothing funny about it. All three people on the stage had low energy. Their cynicism was even directed at the audience, complaining that they were spending their Friday night with only 14 people. They attempted to tease or relate to some black members in the audience, but it wasnt humorous and borderline racist. Buda was the worst. All his jokes were about dragging testicles and flatulence. To elicit false excitement, hed yell with lots of cursing. I envy the couple that got up and walked out. I would have enjoyed the free fireworks on the beach more than this performance. Matt Bridgestone could have been cool if the atmosphere wasnt so negative (dead). It was a sour ending to a wonderful week of vacation, so dont make the same mistake I did and invest your time in a more worthy activity. It was so unenjoyable that I didnt want to stay for the nightclub experience for dancing or drinks afterwards.
Bouncers are very aggressive. They beat people up. Very dangerous place. Do not recommend at all. Be careful.
Was there on 5/24/22, had a blast. Was seated funny row which made it better, had interaction with the line up. The comedians were great, the material funny and the service was fabulous. Also the comedians come out at the end to talk with the crowd. Highly recommend taking in a show.
The security guy hit on my friends girl, and then he swung at him unprovoked.we were there at 3:20am bought bottles got a VIP section. And on our way out we got assaulted. Very unprofessional security team. The guy who swung looks like he should be a security guard for chucky cheese.
Was there this past Saturday 3/6/2021 for the comedy show which was amazing by the way. I went there with a party of 8 celebrating two birthdays and the comedy show staff was amazing. We were invited back by the comedy staff to enjoy the night club which would be open after 11pm since the comedy show was at 6pm. When we returned that’s when the nightmare began the security was very rude and aggressive for no reason especially a bald headed Spanish security guard. Completely different from the staff working the comedy show. This security started being nasty and yelling at us for no reason at all simply because we were waiting on line for a while so we asked if we would be able to get in and we asked about bottle service. Doesn’t make sense for security to be rude and chase away people trying to spend money, especially when there was another night club down the hall (Anthem) which were a lot more polite to their guest and accommodating. Don’t waste your time here, Anthem is definitely the spot to go you get treated with respect.
The dj is weird and the cover is way too high for the quality
They had the best music out of the clubs I went to at the tropicana
Says doors open at 10:30, still not open at 10:44. No seats unless you have bottle service. Make sure you get on the guest list as its free but you have to be inside by 11:30. Went there once at 11 and didnt get in till after 11:30 as they were holding up the line. Relatively small inside. Clean bathrooms, music is a good enough level to still have a conversation. Go go dancers are classy with either tops or pasties on. Good mix of music for dancing.
I’d rate this place 0/5 stars if I could. There is absolutely NO DANCING ROOM. Do not call yourself a nightclub if you have no dance floor. Also cover is expensive for no reason? There is no live music, DJ is mediocre, dancers are fine. I would never pay for cover here again knowing how small it is. Drinks are expensive as well after paying for such a pricey cover. I would never recommend this to another person. Go to wild Wild West casino and save yourself a trip. IF you do go, maybe the men will throw you money even when you have a degree in chemical engineering and don’t need it....
Had an awesome birthday bash. We purchased a bottle so we had seating. There is no seating if u dont buy a bottle and noFood, so eat b4 u come..Awesome DJ, good music and good service.
This place is so tiny and still, there aren’t many people. If you put yourself on the guest list ahead of time and enter before 11:30 it’s free admission.Ladies, WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES if you take your shoes off for a second there WILL BE A GUARD IN YOUR FACE the next telling you you put them on or youre out.Music isn’t horrific, it’s good to dance with your friends but honestly, not many others were dancing (maybe their feet were all hurting too who knows).Really, if you have a good group of friends and comfortable shoes you’ll likely have a good time.
You have to come to Kiss Kiss to see their amazing light up tunnel! I came here for my birthday and had a great time! All of the staff was friendly, dancers were fun to watch and it wasn’t overly crowded. I recommend e-mailing them before going to get on their guest list for free admission.
Waited in line for over 2 hours just to find out it was bottle service only and couldn’t get in when the manger said we WOULD get in. Management needs to work on allowing the right amount of people in because I saw 15 people walk out but I was never let in. To me that it is ridiculous if people leave then you let the amount that left back in through the line. Instead they didn’t do that. Never mind I was demeaned by the manger because he didn’t think I knew what bottle service was lol.
This club has a dress code of NO flip flops! My 2 cousins and I were denied entry at first, because of it. The only reason we were able to get in was because the bouncer asked, who I can only assume was the manager or owner, if it was ok for us to get in the club and, he was checking out my cousin before making a decision. I strongly believe we only got in because he thought my cousin was attractive. We were dressed for the occasion appropriately and our flip flops were dressy and sparkly. Its not like we were wearing Nikes or beach flip flops so, I find that part of the dress code ridiculous. The only positive thing i will say is, this was the only club in Tropicana that let us go in. All the other clubs we tried getting into denied us entryentry because of the no flip flops dress code. BUT, I guarantee if I went back on my own or with a different person and wore the same exact dress and sandals? They would deny me entry. Especially, after reading some of these other reviews. We just got lucky. My only other complaint about the place is that there was NOWHERE to sit! All the booths and tables were blocked off by a rope and bouncers standing in front them. I guess theyre for private parties and/or reservations? I have flat feet and after a while of dancing and standing I need to sit down. There wasnt even any seats at the bar! The room is pretty tight also so, when it gets crowded it might not be good for those who are claustrophobic. It also gets hard to dance. It was also VERY hot in this place! No air conditioning or anything at all. We would have left and went to another club but, as I said...we were denied entry because of the flip flops so, we were stuck at this place. so, in conclusion the only positive things about this place was#1. They were the only club to let us in with flip flops because all of the clubs in Tropicana have dress codes. (But i dont think they will ever allow it a 2nd time...unless youre attractive to them).#2. The light up tunnel when you enter the club is great (but it tricks you into thinking the club is better than it really is).#3. The dancers on top of the bar is niceThats about it..
Lovely place! There was this one girl who was so beautiful. I wonder if I ever see her again. Maybe Ill start hanging out here more to see if she comes again.
$10 cover charge to enter. Small inside but nice atmosphere. No seating unless your VIP. They make it seem the burlesque show starts at 1030pm but it doesnt, and they wont tell you. Its a tactic to keep you waiting and buying drinks. (It started at 1am and was 5 minites of horrible). Drinks are crazy expensive ($14 For a weak top shelf mix drink) and they add a 18% gratuity to your bill at the end.
When for my 60th birthday... I love comedians.. one of the worst shows Ive ever seen.. we left after the second comedian. They give you a coupon as you entering they say that this is a discount on drinks.. one drink one shot in it.10.00 a piece with the discount.. the biggest rip-off that weve ever seen... Shame on you Tropicana.
Aside from the bartender Mike this place was nothing but problems. Despite having the name of one of the bigger names in clubbing this place was seemingly run by amatuers. We had problems with the bottle service bill which resulted in a conversation with the manager who was rude and repeatedly used vulgar language towards us. Next they sold our bottle service booth out from under us and wouldnt even let us return to the booth to get personal belongings. They also cleaned up through booth and a cell phone was missing. It seems like it was stolen by one of the servers because it was found in back and it was turned off so it couldnt be tracked or called. And finally they would not return one of our jackets because they couldnt find it. Just even trying to get them to look for the jacket without doing anything wrong led to problems with the security there. I then went to try to settle the situation that was taken out of hand by the poorly operated security team. They then told me that my friends could pick the jacket up the next day at 12. Then they didnt even show up so I was clearly lied to because they wanted to get rid of this. I will never return to this place. And if you want to have a good time I would suggest going across the hall to Providence which was a way better experience.
I planned a Bachelorette party for my sister and it was a complete disaster. The service was horrible. I ordered the Bachelorette package and $500 later I was told that I only paid for a bottle of Ciroc. The host left early and never returned my ID. I called him and he stated that he couldnt talk. The manger refused to compensate me and the closed the doors in my face. The is unprofessional and unacceptable. DONT EVER GO TO THIS CLUB!
The night club from HELL!!! Do not visit!!!!The ambience was nice & dancers were nice, but thats about it. I visited Kiss Kiss, a night out with the girls for my sisters bachelorettes party & was very disappointed. On a Saturday, the club was less than half full the entire night, we got ripped off. We paid for the bachelorette package & the club delivered on nothing included with the package except a bottle of champagne & Ciroc. The manager left the club & went home early without delivering the other items we paid for in the package. My sister argued with the manager who State we paid $468 for a bottle of Ciroc & champagne, that was the package. Total rip off. Do not visit this wack club! Rude, ripp off & not worth it.
Not worth the money. Drinks are expensive and place is so dirty. Walked in at 10:30 when they opened and there was puke all over a bathroom stall and it reeked. The club had just opened so makes me wonder how long, it had been sitting there… probably from the night before.. grose. Music was okay.
So disappointing... Im 8 months pregnant and I was on a quick girls night to AC. I suggested we try Kiss Kiss instead of our normal spots. When we 1st went in it was ok after about 2.5 hours of dancing I started to get a leg cramp. We asked security if I could sit on the step to VIP since no one was in there. They said no so I leaned against a rail to stretch my leg out for a second. The security guard (a bald guy) came over and said I couldnt lean on it so I said ok and stood back up. After about 45 minutes I noticed a group of girls sneak into the vip section. The same security guard came and told them to move also. After another 15 minutes the same girls snuck into vip AGAIN and were there for about 10 minutes. So I leaned against the railing again to stretch my leg out. I watched the same security guard look at the girls again then look at me. He nicely asked them to move again then he came to me and began to yell and demand I move. I was more mad at his approach why was he so rude and ignorant with me but asked the people who ACTUALLY snuck in vip to move nicely!? So I told him he could have asked me the same way and he kept arguing. So after that I just went back to the bar, took my shoes off to alternate stretching each leg. The bartender who was servicing us said he would get me a chair to sit in so I could put my shoes back on (because the security guard then said I couldnt take my shoe off). LITERALLY as I started to put on my 2nd shoe and buckle it up the 1st security guard said something to the a younger security guard and pointed to where my party was standing at the bar. The younger security guard came over and said the manager is saying you have to get up or leave. I instantly got mad, I was just told i couldnt lean against a wall, then I was told i couldnt take my shoes off while in the corner, then when I sat in a chair (brought to me by an employee) to put my shoes on now I cant sit to put my shoe on but if I dont put my shoe on Ill be kicked out. This place was terrible like it totally ruined what was supposed to be a fun girls night.
Comedians sucked. Place was dirty. 8oz drink for $15Only good point was the 2 or 3 servers were nice and tried very hard.
Went to a comedy show earlier in the day had a great time comedy show was amazing we spoke to the staff on duty about returning at night to enjoy some drinks and music when we returned and waited to enter the Bouncers That look weak if you ask me for security club... allowed a group of five guys one with no ID and 2 weren’t wearing face mask to enter when I asked the bouncer why were we waiting to enter the club he told me they were at capacity and not allowed to let anyone in when I question him about allowing the five other guys in the club he got upset didn’t know what to say everything he was saying did mot make sense Needs to improve on how to communicate with customers especially a group Of 8 that were willing to buy bottles Of alcohol
I was there for like 5 mins ... not to sound cocky but I was flirting with this girl ... she was drunk she was pushing everyone like crazy.... then she came to me and try to push me and shoke me ... so I hold her hands and said stop ... she was like shoke me so I did but not like a maniac I did it in a flirty way and then I walked away... 5 mins later I’m trying to order a drink then the security guard goes like you got to go ... without asking what or why and kicked me out ! So apparently your not allowed to flirt .... the girl didn’t even complain she went her way and I went mine .. I’m security at a club too normally I would ask the girl if she was ok or if she was comfortable with that and write a report if the case was bad . But no this two guards were really unprofessional they should not handle thing like that .
I’ve never been to KissKiss but I’ve auditioned twice to be a dancer and was eventually told by Ivan kane himself that he would use me as an “on call” dancer. Ofcourse he never called me and all the emails I have between us clearly proves he had no interest in even putting me on his team claiming “as of now we good.” His specific instructions during the auditions was to basically “dance like a dead doll.” I felt quite ridiculous and unchallenged while dancing because in my opinion ANY human being with rhythm can dance slow like an inebriated fool. The reason I’m posting this review is because I’m tired of company’s like this that form a “clique” or have weak communication skills. I’m not at all trying to convey that I’m an epic dancer, but i have worked for numerous local clubs in my area and hookah lounges as a belly dancer so I know I’m at least a decent enough dancer to work at least once a month! Overall, I do hope everyone involved is happy and safe, but the egotism and unprofessionalism must change.
Was a nice night out with my friends! Was my first time at a club and this place was really clean and nice
DONT GO HERE.i had an open tab and bartenders (especially blonde bartender) were super rude about it and said my card wasnt there even though i gave them my name, and had to go through several employees until the manager finally came out with my card 30 minutes later. worst place ive ever been to.
Stay away. Far away. Complete rip off. No seating unless u pay minimum 295bucks! If I’m paying 15 bucks a drink i wanna sit. They give u some lame Gogo girl till 1 am to try to amuse you to get more of your money. This place will be out of business soon. No way this will survive
I went to kiss kiss this past Saturday 27,2018.i loved the Alice and wonderland theme. The night took a nasty turn when a bouncer ask me to put my shoes on. As I began to my my shoes on a bouncer grab my arm and yanked my arm so hard my bone cracked and began tugging on me and told me to leave. I felt violated as a woman. No women should be man handled like that. I snatch away from him and told him dont ever put your hand on me again.
False adverstisment, we came for a burlesque show and when we got there we learned they had absolutely no intention of having a burlesque show. Waste of time coming to this, just go to the borgatas show. People were walking into the club and literally leaving within minutes because it is not what is advertised. Basically an overpriced strip club without the stripping.
My friends and I got bottle service and the management and staff go over the top to make sure we were having a great time, which we did!Special thanks to Freddie our host and Ben who was our sections Security for again, always checking in. All around fun time.
Cool place but nowhere to sit. U basically have to pay $300 for a bottle in order toget a spot in VIP in order to sit down i payed it and had a good time but i wont go back. Im not a baller. U have been warned
$20 for a hole in the wall, dont waste your money! DJ cant mix the music for sh^t, plays Whitney Houston to Cardi B. Reminds me of my ex with multiple personalities disorders, you never know what youre going to get!
Most pointless dance club ever.. go to a gay club.. you better off... NOBODY danced... Most worthless dance club of all time.. and Ive danced in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, LA, San Diego, NYC, Orlando, Miami.. sucks... This place sucks... What a bunch of tight...ass... non-dancers... Worthless.. absolutely...
Comedians were not great and it seemed as if they knew it so they added a bunch of them to try to make up for it. Jason? Literally a guy with a hockey mask on telling bad jokes. Weird.
Stay away from bottle service. They water it down. Or put cheap vodka! Had the kettle with 3 people. I should be under the table throwing up. We have quarter bottle left and barely a buzzzzz?
Stopped by here over the weekend. Great spot had a great time with friends. Great music place for sure got packed. Would stop by again.
The DJ is amazingThe venue is good, reminds me of old school NY.Lol VIP sections with guy who cant get girls to come in.The last good club in Atlantic City
Such nice people. Totally customer service oriented. Great experience
The security hit me in my hand just because I took 2 pieces of lemon, he said you can’t touch a lemon and I said you can’t touch me I talk with the manager and he said I didn’t saw anything you have to talk with the hotel.. but if you see are more reviews claiming about the security and management..
Nice place good dancers but one Nicky Shea was there the weekend she need to go back to the strip clubs. That the best place for her
Fun fun fun, but the bartenders charge you whatever they like.... I went to the bar more than 5 times and paid different prices each time for the same drinks!
A bit crowded and cramped for a place like Tropicana Hotel but otherwise you can have a nice time there. Menu is reasonably priced.
It was such a great time. Went with my friends and none of us were disappointed
Really cool entrance way. The drinks were good but the playlist could’ve been better.
I havent laughed so hard in along time, definitely worth it to go see these comedians!!!!
Only for comedy show. Was worried after seeing negative review but comedy golden. Wait staff was meh.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE!!! Be careful if u go someone may slip something n ur drink. Security and management is HORRIBLE!!!
Worst music ever....gave it a chance and after 20 min we gave up. Change your DJ or youll go out of business soon!!!
Don’t waste your time or money. $20 cover for a hole in the wall. Go down to boogie nights instead!!
12/4/22 worst dj ever. Dont recommend.
Drinks way to priceywater was $8😂comedians were hit or miss
So I come from Auburn ny and I asked a question when I asked a question and they pushed me assistiued and the tell me nothing Is wrong what u think muhhar
The comic club was ok, drinks are extremely over priced
