This was a fun place to visit with our family. We visited shops and enjoyed the games and beach, though some maintenance could be done on the planks on the boardwalk. The view and experience is likely to be a repeat vacation for us again. The food everywhere we ate was tops!

Last time I was here was 15 years ago and it was a great time. Loved the fountain show at the end of the pier. Its now just an abandoned mall. Nothing really in it. It was very sad. Dont know if COVID hit it hard or what but theres nothing to do in there now.

Nice looking mall, but barely anything to do. There are only about 3 or 4 stores open in the entire mall and the restaurants were closed too. Im not sure if more things will open up during the summer but I was here during April 2023 and it was pretty dead.Definitely do not go out of your way to come here. Its nice to stop by if youre passing though.I still gave it a very high rating because there was good music playing, the views are nice, and I managed to get myself a ring from one of the stores that was actually opened. Ive wanted a cheap, silver ring for a couple of years now but never actually got around to purchasing one so Im glad the opportunity presented itself here. The store owner was nice. Basically everything in the store was $10, but because we purchased a lot of things, he told us that we can pick out 4 rings for $10 so I ended up getting my ring for only $2.50. My sister picked out the other 3 for herself.I hope more places open up here and it becomes busy again because its honestly a really nice building and has a nice ambience.

This place has potential but it really doesnt matter when practically all the stores arent in business. It was nice to have the place all to ourselves. (except the security guard that practically followed us around, and probably wondering why we were there in the first place.) I say if youre filming a movie and need an empty set location that looks beautiful, this is your place. Shopping? Not so much. I DID see a poster of an old prop comic of The Legendary WID, who I use to work with in my early days of burlesque. So my trip was unexpectedly fulfilled with a personal surprise.

I would highly recommend a visit but the place is incredibly sad. You can see what was once a great looking mall, and it almost appears it still could be, but its largely empty now.Why the high rating? Its a nice spot in the AC that sits almost directly on the water. Just head to the third floor and all the way down the hall for a great view. Seeing the 70s theming is neat as well.Overall, another great location with absolutely great potential that has been left abandoned and empty. I hope someone can find a good use one day for this awesome spot.

Years ago, this pier was full of people, shops, and places to eat. Now it is barely a shell of it former pass. The deck out the back was locked, and they took away the sand that used to be by the beach chairs that looked out the Southern windows. Still love to visit and sit and enjoy the view, but there are no more stores, like there used to be. Someone needs to do something with this pier and make it great again.

Kind of a monument to late-stage capitalism at this point; the majority of the mall is deserted, with only a couple businesses still open. Very surreal experience, but also quite neat. One of my favorite stops on our trip to AC, as it was one of the very, very few places that wasnt a consistent, overwhelming din of awful music at hearing loss inducing decibel ratings.

A very nice place that seems like it is slowly dying out. I spent a few days in AC just exploring. I came here due to the fact that on the outside looks very enticing but once you go inside, a lot of vendors have left and the second floor is a ghost town. I spoke to a few of the vendors and they all said the same thing about the owner of this place, he just doesn’t care. The top balcony in the back has some very nice views with some outdoor chairs to relax in. Walking back inside there are chairs facing the beach which you can see and you’re protected from the sun as the windows are UV protected. the place itself is nice, it seems the tourist are not going in plus from what i was told the owner just doesn’t care about having new shops open up.

First time visiting Caesars in many years, and many of the stores are simply out of business. To my surprise, the water show has also been shut down and remodeled (you can see this in the pictures I attached). Times sure have changed. Walking on the street side during the evening hours, though, doesnt seem to be the safest idea

Due to the time of the year many stores restaurants were closed. Combine that with the fact that were in a COVID economy and there wasnt a lot of places that were really open. Its a nice location. Three levels on the third level you can only come down via elevator or escalators. You cannot walk across into Caesars The second level and first level. Second level you can walk across on the sky bridge enclosed protected from the elements. The first level you walk underneath the sky bridge and youre out with a wind can can hit you. There were some people who were walking the top level end to end cuz its pretty damn long and a good place to get your exercise. Theyre also generic non-specified seating where someone could grab their lunch, bring it with them and sit down and just chill. So it was a nice atmosphere but again very subduated and sedated because of this time of year and post COVID.

Most of the store fronts were empty and a hand ful of them just were not open , I guess they are only open on the weekend. When I came here years ago this place was awesome. Every store front was occupied, there was a light and water show various times throughout the day. There also used to be places on the top floor to sit inside with your feet in the sand and look out over the beach. The sitting spots are still there with great views, but they took the sand away. On the outside deck we did see some sting rays in the ocean which was pretty cool to see. Now there are alot of vacant stores and no more light/water shows. They dont seem to know what their identity is. There are some bargain stores right next to high end stuff. Plus it seems less than half of the available real estate is in use. The area isnt exactly high end, and the outlets are close by. If they want to appeal to that high end customer then they need to fill this place up with quality merchants and restaurants. . It’s a shame because I have fond memories of when it opened up, with a mix of high end and lower end stores, now it just seems to cater to those who want to overspend on purses and handbags.

I wish there was a few more things to do or places to shop. The entire middle level of the building only had about two or three open stores, which was a bit underwhelming. This mall was a huge disappointment. I researched it online beforehand but nothing mentioned that most of the stores are closed and its empty and depressing. The third floor has nice views of the beach with many seating areas, and a few good restaurants, but its still apparent that this mall is on its last legs. We ate at Buddakan for lunch, and even that was pretty much empty. Im surprised its still there given the state of the rest of the mall. Avoid like the plague.

Unfortunately the Playground Pier has been falling off recently. Someone who is reading the reviews may notice a trend that over the past year or so many of the better stores have been closing at the Pier, and the atmosphere of the Pier is becoming more and more desolate. One major store, the Apple store, closed around a month ago as of writing, and many other stores had closed before. The Pier was basically empty when we went, around 5pm on a weekday. Its still a nice place to get a good view of the beach and ocean, but its definitely fallen off in the past year or two.

Unfortunately many of the big name stores that once occupied the mall, ended up closing down. They have since started to redevelop the pier, after it underwent a change in management. New dining options, including restaurants and bars, also Comedy Clubs have begun to open up throughout the complex.

Pretty much an empty mall. Its a shell of its former self. You used to be able to sit across the restaurants on the 3rd floor on chairs in the sand and watch the ocean but they took the sand out but you can still sit. They also used to have water shows multiple times per day, but that too is gone. No more Starbucks or Lush handmade soaps. I would say the only draw is ItSugar the huge candy store and the views. There are a few restaurants on the 3rd floor but they are all pricey. 95% of the mall is now empty stores and it is always void of people. There is always security walking around so it is a safe place, just nothing to do. Seems bizarre with the rest of Atlantic City coming back that this place would be letting itself go so badly.

The location and aesthetic are nice, but the Playground is starting to feel abandoned. Almost the entire second floor is devoid of businesses. I know malls are dying all around America, but this one feels like its circling the drain at an extremely fast pace, which is a shame. The views are great inside, and the food options are well appropriated, but not inexpensive enough for a casual experience. The casinos around the area have more plentiful options. Maybe a burger place, or something where you could escape spending $10 or less would be helpful.I hope it survives, but at this point, without a major injection of businesses, it seems hopeless.

Sad shell of what it once was. Not at all worth the visit unless you have reservations at one of the 3 or 4 overpriced eateries on the third floor. This was once a bustling luxury shopping center...now at least 70% is closed, there is no longer access to much of the second and third floors. There was once a subpar, but rather enjoyable water light show that in my opinion, probably costed Caesars little to nothing.
