The clinic has such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I also love how they let you choose the vibe of the room. They also provide plenty of good photos and even a heartbeat which gave me so much comfort. Highly recommend!!

Russ was my therapist today and I *highly* recommend him. The massage was truly incredible. He took time to find the source of my problem areas and provided excellent deep pressure and checked in frequently. He was kind, thoughtful and approachable in the way he explained what stretches he thought would help me in the future.

After moving back to Austin I needed a great stress reliever. I got an appointment with Russ and he was AWESOME! I felt more invigorated and loose and can’t wait for my next massage!

I highly recommend Russ as a masseuse, especially if youre a swimmer. He uses his extensive knowledge about human anatomy to customize massages for my needs. For example hes loosened up specific shoulder muscles that are tight from swimming. He has a very calm energy and is super friendly.

One of the most effective and therapeutic massages Ive had in a very long time. My therapist Russ was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and even took some time at the end to show me a couple of excellent stretches I can do daily to address my issues. Will be back again soon!

I had a chair massage with RUSS to help with a levator scapular issue and it was the best massage I think Ive ever had. He left me with plenty of tips to help with the neck and shoulder pain.

I’ve been going to Zen Well for years. Wonderful place. I’ve had massage work from many different therapists—all gave excellent massages. But today? TODAY WAS AMAZING. Off the chain and off the charts. It was my first time to get work done by Russ. I signed up for a two-hour session. I shuffled in with my sciatica screaming. I strutted out like a spring chicken. Whatever is ailing you he will magically bring relief and offer stretching tips to avoid future pain. Russ’s energy is palpable—he is clearly a gifted healer. He is smart and kind and compassionate and a deep listener. It is transformative being in his presence. In conclusion—Russ is obviously The Force. May The Force be with you soon.

I have had numerous Thai massages around the country, and I have to say that Russ is at the top of his game.He is very personable and intuitive and I always look forward to my session with him.

Been to see Russ twice now. I rebooked immediately after my first session. Russ seems to know the internal structure of musculoskeletal systems well and thoroughly addressed the pain and tension from my forehead and jaw to my shoulders and upper back. I also really enjoy the way Russ opened up communication about pain and pressure before applying strong pressure to sensitive areas so I was prepared to provide feedback. I also think Russ is trans aware and kind to people so I will keep booking.

Just had a one of the nicest massages ever with Russ - he is very knowledgeable about orthopedics and incorporates that into the bodywork he does. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

My experience might be rather biased because I arrived off the back of an extremely stressful few days. I walked in to Zen Well and the masseuse, R, welcomed me by name. The massage was on a floor mattress which I had never experienced before but turned out to be extremely comfortable and relaxing. Wearing the loose fitting clothes they supply didnt bother me at all, despite never having had a clothed massage before. The music volume and lighting were perfect. I left with my shirt on inside out and when I realized this an hour later, out at a bar, I was still so relaxed and dreamy from the experience that I didnt care! I will definitely be going back.

Service is good, company is evil though. Bought a mothers day gift certificate. They MOVED and are no where near mom now. They will not refund. Also past Gift Certificate experiences have been painful trying to find and apply it. Not a good company. Stay away. I got my money back from Chase. Everything unused is refundable. Any honest company allows that. Mom and I live in Virginia now... they just stole $100... from Chase Bank. They are thieves!

Ive gone in to Zen Well for bodywork on multiple occasions and have never been let down. Their team of therapists is terrific, along with front end staff. The last therapist I saw was Lydia for a Thai massage. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the human body. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Overall: great experience.

I had a great experience here. Rains alleviated a lot of the pain Ive been having. I also appreciate that he showed me the areas that was particularly tight. Its not their fault at all, but there was a lot of construction noise next door, so hopefully that will end soon. I hope to return again.

Such a wonderful experience! Zen Well has a very high quality of service- I was really impressed with how knowledgeable and skilled the masseuses were. I have had chronic lower back pain for years and not a lot has helped it including chiropractors and deep tissue massage. However, when I had an hour thai massage, the stretching and massaging of pressure points in my back really helped relax my muscles. This place is super affordable and has such a great level of service, which I cannot stress enough. This is definitely my go to massage spot.

They were unable to offer us two table massage at the same time. Then she accused us of being late. One of us had to do the chair and the other the table. Making us have our experience separately instead of together. Nothing fancy about this place all we got is a plain massage. No wine no nothing. Experience was plain and boring. After adding tip we ended up paying $100 each for a 40 minute session. I do not recommend this place. Definitely not returning.

I first found out about Zen Well when I modeled for their website and was able to experience a Thai Massage and Chair Massage which were both so amazing and relaxing. And I was able to go back again this past month for another of both of those treatments and it just gets better every time. The atmosphere alone is enough to wick away the stress of your day and then the Massage just heals the rest of you. I already recommend them to all of my friends....so you should try them out for sure. You will not be disappointed.

The massage therapists are absolutely wonderful. In every massage session, the therapists exemplified professionalism, skill, and great dedication to their clients needs. Sadly, however, I will no longer be a returning Zen Well customer. The front desk and management staff consistently struggle to provide customer satisfaction when it comes to follow-up procedures like paperwork. If you are needing to file a claim with your insurance company, I recommend seeking an alternative business that will adhere to your needs in a timely, professional manner.

I love a chair massage because I feel that it reaches the right parts of my traps, and Adriana was exceptional! I left feeling like a piece of putty. If I lived closer I would be here regularly. Pricing is very reasonable, and hours are convenient.

Had my very first Thai Massage at ZenWell the other day and have to say I was pretty amazed. Julia was my therapist. She was intuitive , caring, and professional. She brought a deep relaxation to these middle-aged bones that Ive not experienced with any other style of massage - ever. I was completely impressed by her confidence & gentleness and cant imagine going back to the more conventional massage styles Ive known for years. Thank you Julia and ZenWell.

I booked one of the February specials - 40 minute hand/foot, 20 minute chair and 40 minute Thai massage. Ive done them all at one time or another but this was for my birthday and it was such a treat! Lydia was fantastic and a lot of my tight muscles are now much looser. I almost feel asleep with hand/foot massage. Zen Well is great!

I had my incredible experience with Jeff today, and it was over the top in comfort and relaxation...that young man is extremely gifted in his craft. I have been going to Zen Well for about 2 years now. I have always had an excellent massage from several different wonderful massage therapists there. I am writing my review today to commend them on the steps they have taken since Covid19 arrived. They, of course, had to shut down for a month or more. Since reopening they have set up protocols & procedures which adhere to the guidelines to keep everyone safe. Yet, even with the changes, they do everything possible to keep it easy for the client. Since Covid, I was worried that I would not feel comfortable getting a massage. Zen Well completely put me at ease. And, as usual, the massage was amazing. Yesterday was the 2nd time I have returned since they reopened. They were diligent about safety and the massage was wonderful. Movement is life! If you have pain that is impacting your life, I highly recommend you give Zen Well a try. You wont be disappointed!

Love, love, love this place! I go at least once a month, if I can. Every therapist Ive ever had is awesome! Today was no exception with Josh. He listened to me on where I was most hurting and when I left I was %100 better! The atmosphere is beautiful and makes you feel warm and fuzzy the minute you step in :). Will never go anywhere else for a massage!

I love the atmosphere here! Past the lobby, the communal area for some of the massages is beautiful, and the Thai rooms are really nice. My therapist, Bri, checked in with me a few times to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying the work. Bris Thai massage is so relaxing, even when its intense, and I left feeling great. I would definitely say take advantage of the socks they offer for clients--it gets pretty cold. Bri got me some hot tea (nice perk) and went over stretches I should do at home with a lot of details about what I had going on. Probably forget half of it, but good to know!

I love Zen Well! I visited there almost once a month back when I lived in Austin, and, when I was visiting family over the holidays insisted on taking my parents so they could experience it as well. I have yet to find a place quite like anywhere that Ive lived. The prices are so reasonable, the people are friendly, but its the experience more than anything. The atmosphere of Zen Well is so calm and meditative, which isnt surprising, but it really has to be experienced first hand. I have and will continue to recommend Zen Well to all my friends and family.

After trying to get a massage on the day I called for a few weeks, I finally managed to book an appointment with Lydia. The massage itself felt miraculous. I dont think I can explain it better than the sample video on Zen Wells website. The lighting was nice and soft, decor was simple and evoked another time and place. Ill definitely be a returning customer.

Fantastic service! I tend to go here about once a month to get adjusted and improve muscle pain/soreness. Its like going to a relaxing yoga class but having someone do all the hard work for you. Ive been hooked on Thai massages since I first came to them as an alternative to sports massages. Ive had all sorts of issues ranging from back pain, pulled front hip flexor and neck issues (I train Muay Thai and BJJ on a regular basis). And so far Zen Well has either fixed or significantly improved all my issues. The people there are wonderful and the atmosphere is cozy and comforting. I highly recommend them!

I cant say enough great things about Well Spa!!! I had been once for a relaxing massage with Devin & it was superb. Then I hurt my shoulder & Patty was so nice, working me in early the next morning so that I didnt have to wait several days for relief. She worked on my hurt shoulder, along with Devin several days later at a follow up appointment. The Well Spa ladies are beyond awesome & Ill never go anywhere else!!

I had my first visit yesterday with Megan and oh my God! I can move again! My neck and shoulder pain is practically gone. I opted for a 60 min massage just because of the level of tightness I was experiencing. I work nearby, so I took a walk over there during my lunch. She was able to get every muscle to move and work and the entire experience was amazing. I did 30 minutes in the chair and 30 in the moon bed. I also received this fantastic scalp massage. I cant wait to go back. Yay for Megan!

My first trip to Zen Well was like being back in Batan, Indonesia (except with running water and conventional toilets, thank you). From the moment you walk in the friendly, professional staff make you feel relaxed and comfortable. I really enjoyed the chair massage and Thai massage treatments. Very unique! I stopped in as a gift for my husband and myself for Valentines. We have been every month since then!!! I have had one of everything and will say that if you are sore anywhere splurge on the Thai Yoga massage. I love the hand and foot reflexology paired with a facial, its heaven for a great price!

Zen Well has been a lifesaver for both my physical and mental well-being. Josh is a terrific massage therapist and remembers details that make each session productive and stress-free. Im generally full of knots, and hes not timid about working on them. I highly recommend Josh for anything you need, from a 20 minute chair massage to a 2 hour Thai massage.

I was gifted a series of twelve hours when I was pregnant (points for baby daddy!). Because of the time constraints that come along with being a prego working mom and having a baby, I wasnt able to use all of them before expiration. Each time I got a massage I would ask what my remaining time was and no one bothered to inform me that my expiration date was approaching, or even that they expired at all. While the massages I got were awesome, it would have been nice to know that I would lose the last three hours of the series if I didnt use them.

Excellent and convenient. This place offers Thai massages so it is a little different with stretching, etc. (This isnt a creepy place; its legit.) Fantastic Quick Fix Massage that left me feeling loose - Stephen was great! A plus for me is that they provide tank tops and even pants so you are covered and can move freely without worry. Its priced fairly and you can book online. The app isnt as user friendly as could be but they answered the phone when I called.

Im only giving them a three because Ive had a great massage there before, but this time around they deserved 2 stars, max. My boyfriend and I went in for chair massages and the massages were subpar. Not only did my therapist stop before time and then have to start up again, both therapists left our scalps in pain. It didnt feel like we got our moneys worth this time around.

Yes...it was THAT good! Whenever I need a Go To Gift for a friend, man or woman, I know that a Gift Cert from Zen Well will assure happiness. It is better to give than to receive in some cases, but when it comes to the pleasures of this spa...perhaps its best to be the one gifted. From the kind and polite welcome to the gentle and respectful way the therapists TREAT every guest, there is nothing but goodness to soak up when you dip from the Zen Well. Dont let the unassuming exterior fool you, the interior is about as glam as any Ive experienced, and Im kind of addicted to spas! Its no surprise that this spot was awarded BEST SPA of 2013 in its first year of business. Heres to many more years of success! Like Ava, I cant wait to go back!

Amazing Thai and chair massage. If you don’t know, book Thai to get a full body stretching and pressure massage. Totally unique experience. Chair massage is great for upper body and neck, but don’t get chair massage if you want lower back or lower body work. A mixture is best. Love it.

The facility is very clean and the front desk receptionist was really friendly and welcoming. This is a clothes-on chair massage place (although they offer thai massage as well). My masseuse was very friendly, but it wasnt everything I was hoping the massage to be. I think want I really wanted was a full body massage. I do recommend it since the prices range from $40-$122 and you can reserve online really easily.

As soon as you walk in the front door of Zen Well, you begin to relax with the peaceful music playing. I have had the hydromassage, foot and hand reflexology massage, chair massage and thai massage. All but the chair massage we new experiences for me. I loved every one!! The staff is extremely professional, every room is pristine and quiet. You are transported to a different place and it is amazing!! Looking forward to going back soon!

From the first phone call, they have all been very sweet and helpful. I absolutely love this place! So far I have only tried the infrared sauna once and I highly recommend it because afterwards you feel refreshed, almost lighter even though your drenched in sweat. I really want to try their Hand & Foot Reflexology massage as well as their Chair massage.Another great thing about Zen Well is that all of their prices are reasonable. Nothing is outrageously priced. They even currently have a groupon available for first timers.

One of my favorite places in Austin. Everyone here is so nice and has magic running through their veins and hands. I always leave feeling like I am floating. I will never get a regular table massage again after having discovered Thai massage.As far as Zen Wells 1-star reviews on here, please note that almost all of them revolve around the client being late. That is nobodys fault but the clients, and Zen Well has a very fair policy. 2-hour cancellation notice, otherwise 50% of the listed price will be charged. How does this not make sense? Whether you show up or not, the therapist has to be there in case you do show up, so taking 50% due to a late cancellation or no-show is more than generous of them.If youre late, yes, thats going to bleed into your time, because youre not more important than the next scheduled client, and your tardiness should have no influence on the next clients appointment.So - if youre looking to get your moneys worth, its actually pretty simple. Dont be late (this is why they nicely suggest arriving ten minutes early), and if you need to reschedule, give them at least a 2-hour notice (very fair), and if you have to cancel with less notice, understand your situation has affected the work day of someone else, and they are more than entitled to 50% of what they shouldve received had you been able to hold up your end of the scheduled appointment, and be happy to offer that to them.Zen Well is amazing. I spent around $700 on gift cards there for family members for Christmas. Nobody has had issues other than not being able to live there and never leave.Thank you everyone at ZW for combatting the daily stressors of life for us all, and Im sorry for the silly, unfounded 1-star reviews yall have. It bugs me to see those knowing what type of establishment yall are. The few 1-star reviews clearly lack perspective; the fact yall have an overwhelming amount of 5-stars and literally no 2-4 stars goes to show yall are a 5-star establishment according to the masses, minus a few angry people that most likely take joy in leaving 1-star reviews for establishments they only dream of running as well as yours - perpetual victims to life.Saw yall yesterday with a friend and am looking forward to being back again this afternoon with a friend. :-)P.S. I’ve had about 15 services at this place. Foot reflexology, chair massage, Thai massage and even the sinus massage. I love this place. The massage therapist are top notch and the atmosphere is perfect. Their prices are really reasonable too! My favorite thing, the essential oils you can add to the service. Fabulous place!

My cousin received a gift certificate for a massage to this establishment and she was late for her appointment, even though she did call an explain, by the time got there the tone of the staff had completely changed. Not only did they refuse to honor her gift certificate, they treated her so rudely that she left crying. I was actually considering using this established for my next massage, not only will I not use them, but I will be sharing my cousins experience with everyone that I know. Shame!

Horrible.. only my second professional massage in my life. Wife got it for my BD. This place has you sit in a reverse chair type thing rather than lay down. Your neck acts as an anchor point and they pull down your arms, my neck was killing me when it was over.. I didnt stop the assault bc I didnt know if it was normal. Lay down massages only for me from now on..

The massage was fine, but the overcharges cause more stress than is relieved. We had $121 charged, and then $151 charged when my wife added gratuity. The $121 was NOT removed. I called the next day and was told the $121 would be removed. It was not. I called again the day after to say the charge was still there. I told them I was unhappy, was told nothing else could be done, and the problem was with their billing system. It has now been FOUR days since the massage and the charge is STILL pending. Ive never seen this crap from any other company in Austin. My wife and I are both furious at this. Since they know there is a problem with their billing system and have not bothered to fix the problem, it is my problem if I choose to do business with them. Guess what the fix is for that?

Zen Well is truly a remarkable establishment . I have been to Zen Well on several occasions and selected the foot reflexology and chair massages. I have came away from both massages in a pure state of bliss and relaxation.I recommend the 40 minute massage for both of the massages to get the full effect. The prices are set to fit most every ones budget. Why not go to Zen Well and see for yourself.

They offer a nicely designed, soothing environment and healing hands. I had no idea how knotted up I was until Anita started working on me. She has the gift of touch, and knows just how to undo the damage done by tension and stress. Even days later Im still feeling the effects. I highly recommend Anita, and Zen Well.

This place has great customer service. No doubt about that. However the massages are not good. It has to do with physics of how they are done: massages here are done in a chair with you sitting down and facing down in a chair. You are approximately at a 45 degree angle. As such, the pressure and force applied to you is limited and not optimal due to the positioning of the massage therapist.For example, I had a very sore lower back. This massage did absolutely nothing for me and I will have to get another one somewhere tomorrow. The angle, force and pressure that can be applied to lower back from a sitting position with someone behind you, above you and having to lean and hunch over to put pressure onto your back simply cannot happen as you want.Edit: I went across the street to another massage place called Xin spa. Much cheaper and much much better massage.

Being extremely tight from running, stretching is very important to me and for my body. I am extremely happy to have found Zen Well as the therapists there have done an extraordinary job listening to my needs and executing well. I know my running has improved due to thai massages at Zen Well.

Ive had great experiences so far with the staff at Zen Well! They have done an exceptional job in quality and performance. They really do a great job of showing a few extra things that you can do at home to help with any issues you are having with wellness/stretching etc...

This lovely spot lives up to its name. You know from the moment you step into the inner sanctum of the quiet, candle lit treatment room, you have entered a place of healing and calm. I have used all if their services, and continue to appreciate all of the practicioners they employ. Their gift cards are some of my favorite gifts to give or receive. Go, your stress will be a distant memory.

I have been to Zenwell many times over the last year and have always found them friendly, capable, and timely. Although I have had good experiences with a number of their staff, Tara and Dawn stand out for their excellent work. Online scheduling is also very helpful.

The Dry Hydro bed massaged me with heated/pressurized water... like a HotTub, except I dont get wet or dipped in Chemicals... its amazing... totally Zens me out and slices thru my neck/shoulder pains. Over time I saw how spotless the place is kept, so I eventually tried some Tai massage... fabulous as well, a bit more expensive yet reasonable and well worth it.Ive been happy each time I went to the Zen Well. Their claim of hassel-free massage is accurate.

Me and my husband went there to have chair massages, we had a really good experience. I had mine with Bri, I was in pain of neck and lower back, she did a she helped me so much. If you like a firm touch, she can do it! I recommend it!

Chandra was amazing! I got a chair massage using a special prenatal pillow to accommodate my 39weeks of belly :) I requested deep tissue work which she definitely listened to. I never wanted that massage to end!!!

An incredibly nice person bought me a xmas/bday gift certificate for a massage at Zen Well on William Cannon. I was 10 minutes late because I had trouble finding the place (called ahead of time when I realized my gps had taken me to the complete other side of the street). They took my gift certificate ($70) for the missed appointment, didnt perform the service, and refused to reschedule. The receptionist spoke to the manager on the phone when I asked if they could please make an exception, but the manager flat out refused to speak to me directly. I left the place pretty much in tears. Then they have to nerve to snarkily tell me Dont let this ruin your day. You just stole $70 from me. You ruined my day.

Had two treatments. Thai Massage and Hand and Foot Reflexology Massage. Both were excellent. Space is gorgeous, clean and very relaxing. Zen Well is and understatement. Should be Zen Fabulous!

Dawn gave me a great Thai massage. My gf enjoyed hers as well. Was a touch cold for me but no prob for the gf. Nothing to knock a star for, great service and great massage. Will return!
