Weve visited several times in the last few months, the food has been delicious every time. One of my top favorite places to eat in the Venice area. Great craft beer selections, and you can play some pool while youre there too. I havent been there in the evenings for the entertainment yet but have heard its great.

Interesting atmosphere. Part brewery, part restaurant, part karaoke bar. We got there about 30 minutes before the kitchen closed on a Thursday night. The food and service exceeded our expectations. Best burgers weve had in a long time. Only got to try one of their own beers, but it was good enough to make me want to stop by next time Im in town.

Wow! The food & beer were so good & our amazing bartender/waitress Dawn even more awesome. She was super attentive. We ate the mussels appetizer along with the Roman noodle soup with beef brisket 💕💕

Amazing!! Had the burger with house bbq sauce and house chips, both were great!! Had the Gate Keeper and it was awesome!! Atmosphere is great for watching a game, hanging with friends or playing pool. Definitely a place to be for any occasion.

Adding thos to my list of must try places in Venice. We lived in Oregon, so a microbrew pub was a great fit for us. Nothing like fresh beer made on site! We had the fish and chips with the Gatekeeper brisket grilled cheese. Well done and these might be our new favorite onion rings. Prove me wrong. We might have our new favorite eating place.

Excellent in-house brews. Had the ramen, it was… good. I’d recommend it for cool weather. Service was very, very slow. It took a long time to get our orders in, be served our food, and we sat with empty plates and glasses for quite a while before we were able to flag down our server and ask for the check.

Their sour beers were the best they served. Otherwise it was just ok. Was excited for their Pasta Sauce Pils, but it was just an Italian Pils. Might be better on a night they were doing an event or had entertainment.

Great food! We had a hamburger and the Red Snapper special. Both very well done. The beer was fantastic, as well. Our server was very nice and very helpful. We will definitely be eating here again. The only reason for only four stars was the temperature (cold) and the fact that the inside is dark, but the front windows are very bright when the sun is up. Its hard to see the person across the table from you.

Great place to gather with friends for food, a drink and some fun. This is also the home of 3 Bridges Brewing- a micro brewery with a wide range of flavorful brews - light to double dark - I had the Jetty Rat which was an awesome full flavored beer and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were super. They also offer wine and mixed drinks. The menu offers appetizers, salads a spread of American fare and daily blackboard specials. Many events offered here: December includes live music, free pool (multiple tables) on Sunday, and a kids eat free day. A great micro brewery stop if you are looking for sports programming also.

Love this place for the ambiance and the craft beer. Food is pretty decent, and service is good. Dylan was our server and was helpful, attentive, and pleasant. Will be back again!

Great selection of brews. Food was tasty and fresh. Servers were super nice and attentive.One suggestion to keep in mind- This is a BREWERY with craft beers... if you are wanting something that tastes like bud light, might i suggest a national chain or bowling alley? For the rest of us that love beer, this place is worth the stop.

While the outside singage and being in a strip mall make it seem like it wont be worth going to, it is.We did not go when there was a band only for a weekday happy hour and $3.75 beer is reasonable for happy hour.The food was good and service was adequate.A decent escape from the dozens of Italian places nearby.

Great brisket grilled cheese and awesome ramen. Great homebrew seltzers..... food and entertainment was excellent. We Love Jean the bartender. She is fantastic. Tip her well. ❤

Stopped in for a quick Ding-a- ling Amber lager. It’s a delicious brew. You’re gonna love it! Very relaxing atmosphere. Dawn and Victoria were super friendly and made me feel right at home. Put this place on your tour list when you’re in Venice Florida you won’t be disappointed!!

Great burgers, all custom. Wide beer selection, hefeweizen is my personal fav - that banana note is incredible and makes it feel super light!

One of the better food experiences Ive had in southwest Florida... and they have a cool brewery to match. I will return. The Mexican lager is phenomenal.

Friendly, attentive staff who goes out of their way to help l meet you needs and wants, they were great with the kids too. Went on a Wednesday for the live music, they were busy and still took great care of all 5 of us. The food and beer were delicious. Do the flights of beer, wait staff are knowledgeable and will recommend beers based on what you like.We will be back!

Dont waste your time here. Disappointing in many ways.We were visiting the area a few weeks ago and this place came up under a search for breweries. We (two couples) came in for dinner and some beers. After being seated our server appears a few minutes later and wants to know what we want to drink. Only 1 drink menu was dropped off so only one person had a chance to even scan it for a moment. My wife asked if she could get a taste of one of the beers? No, were busy, I wont do that.Ok. She goes to the bar where she is ignored for 10 min. No luck. We all cross our fingers and order something with mixed results.We figure out what we want for dinner as the server returns.First person: Id like the Wings Server: We dont have any...Second person: Id like the Pastrami sandwich No, were out...And it continues- Finally he opens his notes and reads on and on about what they dont have. At this point we all decide well go elsewhere for dinner.My friend goes to pay the $25 tab with 2 twenties and is told they couldnt give him change. Wth? Pays with credit card.What a sorry experience this place was.

Ordered the Korean Beef Rib dish and it was served cold. I hadnt had it before so I didnt know but asked the server and he said it was supposed to be hot. He asked if I wanted to have it warmed up but I had already eaten half. The Fire Starter appetizer was very interesting. No domestic beer. The server was nice, but couldve come back sooner to check on our satisfaction. Probably will not return.

Much bigger place then I thought. Live music, fun patrons, good bartenders, and Lots of craft beer choices. Get the wagon wheel. :)

This place has come such a long way from a bar to a brewery and now a fabulous place to eat. They have been serving food for a while now but it is worth mentioning that every time we go there for a meal I get something different to try all the awesome options on their menu. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered to eat! That atmosphere is very nice with how the place is set up. My husband enjoys the brewery to get different kinds of beer when we go. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to go to have a drink and listen to a band or just go have a very tasty meal!

The wait staff was kind and conscientious, however the food is extremely greasy and overpriced. $215 for seven people (mostly sandwiches ) No alcoholic drinks.Had to ask for a pile of napkins three times to counteract The Grease. I understand that they add an 18% gratuity for a larger party. I know I would love to know if they considered our seven people a larger party and added the gratuity because Im sure my husband tipped well. Anyway Can you find out Mr. manager if we were duped You have my credit card to be able to find this out for me

Great food and service. Very friendly staff. I read some reviews say I g that the bartender was rude This has never been our experience. If youre looking for great live entertainment this is your place.. Right now I cannot find the schedule for the bands. But I have seen a few live bands there and they were phenomenal. We usually order and share apps which are always Fab but after reading the reviews and website I will definitely try their burgers. Dont worry if youre not a beer drinker because their mixed drinks are great also. I highly recommend this pub for a fun night out.

What a great little place! Had a bar feel while remaining family friendly. The burgers are definitely the best choice! Service was quick and professional, I believe our server’s name was Dylan - definitely will come back again!!

Nice, relaxed atmosphere with good food. The burgers are great but the menu is very limited. Would like to see more simple selections. The majority of the menu seems overly complicated.

Went to Off the Wagon for a concert. I was having a lot of fun until 2 bouncers decided to stand within 5 feet of my wife and I while we danced. Every time I glanced over, one of them was staring me down with a death stare. After about the sixth time glancing at him, I asked him if everything was ok. He then started to get really aggressive; I couldnt hear what he was saying because it was really loud in there. I tried to put my arms up in a defensive way to indicate I just wanted to dance with my wife. One of the bouncers said everything was fine and encouraged his friend to defuse the situation, but he didnt want to do that. The one bouncer left and the one that apparently had a problem with me continued to stare and gesture menacingly. I grabbed my wife and we just left to avoid a confrontation. I can only guess what this gentlemans problem was with me, but what I know is that I will never step foot in this establishment again for any reason. Thanks, but no thanks. It was a great night up until then.

EXCELLENT FOOD & SERVICE!!!I must admit, when they first opened years ago (about half the size that it is today) I did NOT have a good experience and so for that reason I did not venture back.So glad my friend Kathy asked to meet me here for lunch today, because it was super-duper good!Jill was an excellent and attentive waitress.We both ordered the Fresh Catch : PARMESAN CRUSTED HADDOCK, served with WHITE RICE and GRILLED ZUCCHINI. I just cannot eat plain white rice, so Jill went to the trouble of getting me some OLD BAY SAUCE/GRAVY to cover it, and that made it AWESOME!!!! Absolutely great meal!!!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

Took the gang (7 adults & 2 young kids) to Off the Wagon for a small celebration get together. I heard the food was real good and I was in the mood for a REAL burger. Boy! Did Off the Wagon hit the mark! Not exaggerating... THE BEST BURGER I EVER HAD! Thick, juicy, perfectly cooked (medium) on a pretzel bun! It had a rich beefy taste with a charcoal smokiness. Just what I was looking for. My guests had the same sentiments. The staff was very friendly to my kids and we all had a great time. Chef Mike even came out to the table to see how everything was going. A real class act. By far the best bar and grill Ive found and Ive lived here 40 years.

Great place to grab a beer and some food close to the beaches. Id say the quality of the beer is average with a few exceptions being above average. Food was good but only had appetizers so ill have to reserve judgement. Service was actually above average always had a beer in my hand, and she was very friendly.

Food was very good, service so-so. We had wings, onion rings, a burger, and the Korean Short Rib Bowl. We had the wings hot, and they were excellent. I can make better :) but they were the best Ive had in this area. The classic Anchor Bar deep fried style. The hot was just right. Hot, but not overly so IMHO. They were the right size, the small wings that come out with a slight crunch and not those big, tough wings from old hens that no longer lay enough eggs. The onion rings were also really good. Really liked the batter. I normally like really crunchy rings, these were more like the batter you get on fish and chips. But there was some flavor in it that really worked. The burger was good but not outstanding. Its just a burger after all. The Korean Short Rib Bowl was excellent. The meat outstanding (note its in small strips and theres no bone so easy to eat). Jasmine rice very good, and I liked the Kimchee, which also was very good but could have been a little hotter. Wasnt a fan of the pickled cucumbers. They tasted alright but were served cold (on purpose) and I thought they would be much better if they came at room temperature. To me the temperature contrast between the hot food and cold cucumbers didnt work. The service was so-so. Nothing bad, food arrived on a good pace, but the server just seemed distracted or something. It was a Sunday night and they werent very busy so that had nothing to do with it. It was small things. Like I ordered a 32oz beer and she brought a 16oz beer to the table. I didnt understand the menu that the 32oz was for growler refills and only 16oz beers were available, so it was my error, but she should have said something when I ordered. Asked for water no lemon and it came with lemon. Also after the meal asked for 3 to-go boxes and she brought 2. Just little things. Definately a place Id recommend.

Food was excellent, their beer is good. Reasonable prices. Friendly and attentive staff as well. They got a good size stage, dont know if the PA that was there was the venues or if the performer that night supplemented additional stuff with what the venue has already. Big open spaces and outdoor seating as well. Would definitely return.

Asked the bar back for a beer and he told me it was his job. Followed that up with could you send the bartender my way. His response....no. I have been a repeat customer for 4 years and have seen the terrible decline of this place. Scotts beer is great. Service and staff DO NOT outweigh any positives they belive they have. Service is just as bad at irmas tacos. The restaurant group behind this is the reason our hospitality industry is struggling.

Great variety of brews. Had the grilled cheese and brisket sandwich which was outstanding! Served with great homemade potato chips. Also got onion rings, which I believe was beer battered. They were just OK, but thats because I dont really like a heavy coating like these had. Overall, a great place.

Went there Friday, January 31, 2020first time there and as soon as I walked in felt a really good vibe thereThey had a cool band (Big night out )playing salsa and some R&B and funkwow They were great!Tried the burgers and onion rings amazing could tell everything was handmadeThe Pilsner was an awesome beer for me love to go back for a growlerOne last thing, Our bar tenders name was Jay and he steered us right at every decision was awesome the whole nightWill definitely be back there!

Weve been coming here for years and always have a great experience. They make everything from scratch in the back so they are able to accommodate someone with a good allergy. Thomas, our most recent server was extremely friendly and gave honest opinions on the menu. Great place to eat, drink and hang out. They have pool and live music.

Made reservations a month ago for the better seats to see no filter. Even got there early but they refused to seat us at the better seats. No reason given. Stayed for a hour and a half but had to leave because it was so hot. Hotter inside than outside. Never again. They get 2 stars because the waitress was good.

Always a great time, the staff is awesome and the food is a bit pricey but great quality. A wide array of in house beers. The only thing I wish they did have was some draft domestic options like miller/bud light they do offer them in bottles but if the owner reads this it would be nice to see in draft options. Great place to watch football on a Sunday or live music on a Friday/Saturday night!

This was my first visit to Off The Wagon. I loved the food, lots of variety. The staff was extremely friendly and very accomodating. This was my first time in this kind of establishment in over 35 years plus. Wow!!!. Cheers has nothing over Off The Wagon. Will definitely go again. Ask for Dawn the bartender for alcohol or food. She is the best.

What can I say. Best craft beer in Venice hands down. They brew a huge selection of their own beers in house. Something literally for anyone. Great food. Excellent staff and management. Live music. Nice outdoor area too. 10 out of 10...You best believe that!!!

Was disappointed with their kids menu. Very limited options. The Mac and cheese with hot dogs was plain macaroni noodles with cheese melted on it. No cheese sauce. Far from Mac and cheese. Id give that a 0. Shouldnt have had to pay for those 3 kids meals my kids hated.Pretzels with beer cheese and wings are great ( order extra crispy and extra sauce)Being from Nashville I have to say the Nashville hot isnt a true Nashville hot but still yummy. Waitress was semi attentive and it wasnt busy.

Very much a sports bar with a lot of TVs and pool tables. Went there because we heard they had good burgers and found the service to be very good and the burgers to be excellent. Matter of fact the best burger Ive had in a long time. Very tasty and built to you specs tha you fill out on a card. Would like to go again, maybe for Sunday NFL. Would have given 5 stars but the wood seats were incredibly uncomfortable

We love this place. The prices are a little higher than your standard pub fare but for what you get it really is a bargain. The grilled cheese brisket was fantasticly tender and served with your choice of cheese and au jus. Also the beer battered onion rings were some of the best Ive had in a minute. The beer is also excellent. We had a few glasses of the Dingaling a very quaffable amber and it hit the spot. Most importantly though the service is really outstanding. Our server really made us feel welcome and that is not the easiest thing to do in a sitdown restaurant in 2020. The chef even stopped by our table which was really cool. Overall a delight and we plan on being back as often as we can.

The best French fries I’ve ever had in my life... love their poke’ always fresh. I’ve yet to have a bad meal there yet. As far as he bar, the bartenders are all very friendly. I might have to wait a few minutes for my drink but that’s not a problem as I totally understand how they get busy... Highly recommended...

Stopped here as out of towners needing a snack and boy, did our instincts prove correct! Or server, Dylan was beyond amazing. Funny, well versed in both the food and drink menu and made us feel at home! The wings were great but I would recommend a side of sauce for dipping. I wish we lived closer bc this would definitely be our spot! Thanks for a great experience!

Our meals were excellent especially the smoked chicken tacos. Our server was very attentive and patient as we tasted several beers before making our choice. All employees were masked making it a very safe and enjoyable evening.

Food and drinks were great. Service, not that great. Wrong food came to our table. After we touched it, it got immediately delivered to another table and then our order took 15-20 more minutes. We asked for ketchup and by the time we got it the fries were cold. Waited too long for a beer. 4 stars is for the good and good atmosphere. Well be back, but will make sure we have a different server.

Bartender was extremely rude, I asked the bartender for a suggestion on a drink and she looked at me and said “you’re acting like you’re 21” (whatever that means). After she slammed my beer down I paid my tab and did not leave a tip because of her behavior. She then proceeded to point me out in front of the whole bar and yell “he doesn’t tip” and had me escorted out of the bar. I am so disgusted with how they treat their customers. No wonder the place is closing down. If I were you I would stay far away from this place and take your business to a more deserving local bar.

Ate here after seeing a movie today and had a great time! I’ve always been curious about trying it and finally did. They had amazing food and craft beer made in house! I’d give them 5 stars but they are on the pricy side.

We really enjoyed our visit. Liked the beer brewed on site. The Skyway IPA and Tres Puentes were excellent. Food was great. Peel and eat shrimp, chicken mac and cheese and beer cheese. Burger was good too. I will be back.

Found on random search of area brew pubs with decent food — OTW did not disappoint!First the beer was yummy…selection of IPAs, lagers, ales, porter, and a sour - sampled a selection an all were quite good (our table favored the IPAs and cream ale)No clean plates food wise - burger atop kale salad, blackened fish sand and brisket grilled cheese were all enjoyed thoroughly——would go back in a heartbeat!

Brought 6 friends tonight, pretty disappointing, food comes out NO silverware 10 minutes we waited the GM should be fired with all capital letters.I would rate McDonalds a safer choice at least there you an get plastic silverware!!PS also my friend Carl asked for a beverage that he did not get the whole time he was there.To All good people good luck!!!

Nov 2021 update.This used to be our go to place for a great burger, not anymore... two burgers that were terrible. The type of ground meat used has definitely changed from pre-pandemic. They were dry, burnt with crust on the outside, raw in the middle for medium-well. The fries have never been great but the burgers used to make up for it. The owners might be spreading their talents too thin. They used to pride themselves on craft food. Folks dont bother. Eat elsewhere and go to OTW to listen to loud music and play pool. Its really a shame. Oh and dont let the server know, they dont care.Weve been fans of OTW for a number of years. With that being said, most of the food is exceptional, they have a great burger. However, the fries need an overhaul, big time. Recent visits I thought it was the time of day we were there but it hasnt seemed to matter, they are always cold and hard. I know you can do better. Perhaps during the afternoon if its not busy they get trashed every hour? I dont know, just a suggestion.

Went here for dinner for the first time with some family and friends, everything everyone says positive about it is true. I got some of their beer which was fantastic along with a burger that was amazing. My wife and I split preztel stick app which was some of the best pretzels weve had since moving here years ago. Highly recommend.

We have passed this place several times while visiting Venice. Im so glad we decided to stop this time. We shared the coconut curry mussels and the Nashville hot chicken bowl. The mussels were cooked to perfection and the broth was delicious. The Nashville hot chicken had the perfect spice to it and was so tender. My husband had a few of the IPAs and thoughly enjoyed them. I loved my margarita. The live music was a good mix of newer and older songs. The bartender was a very nice guy and super knowledgeable. All in all, a huge win. We loved it here and it will become a regular place for us to visit.

We had a great time visiting this place. the menu mostly consisted of Bar food and doesnt disappoint. We ordered the chicken strips appitizer with the spicy Thai sauce (pretty good), Hot wings needed more sauce but were cooked well (asked for more and they were very good) the nachos needed some flavor (even ordered the extra heat) Maybe some more cheese or jalapenos. The crown jewel and probably the one thing you should get from the beginning is the Burger (Hands down). you can order it however you like (lots of options). Our waitress was flat out awesome. She was engaging and was full of recommendations.

Excellent food! Best pulled pork sandwich and homemade French fries that I have had in a long time For a non craft beer drinker I was actually able to find a craft beer that I liked. I didnt even know this place existed. So glad I found it!

We both got burgers, which were tasty, however the fries were basically cold, and the service was terrible. I tried to find out waiter after the food came out to ask about getting new fries, but he was nowhere to be found. He didnt check on us until we had eaten all of our food. So disappointed

Called to get a reservation for my 60th birthday was told we couldnt reserve a table on the bar side no food would be served there only on the dining side. Our friends were playing. When we get there we see that tables were indeed reserved on the bar side and food was being served to the ppl with the blue wrist bands on which in turn took up every single table! They should of closed for a private event whoever those ppl were instead of catering to just them. Took around 45 minutes standing at the bar each time to get a beer! We had to leave. Bad experience will never go back.

I live in Florida however I have made frequent visits to New York over my lifetime. Years and years ago, when I would visit various friends who lived in the area, would take me to a fun bar located in Greenwich Village. It was one of my favorite places to visit, as the prices were great, the atmosphere was full of life, and the service was outstanding! Because friends who lived locally always escorted me there, I never paid much attention to the name of the establishment. During my most recent visit, my husband and I somehow stumbled into this restaurant while walking around the Village. We were greeted by an amazing bartender by the name of Ryan who made our visit exceptional! Thanks, Ryan for making us feel so welcomed and taking the time to chat with us even though you had a busy bar to tend to. We will definitely be back. This time I was sure to save the restaurant to my Favorite Places on Google Maps. 😜

Really enjoyed this place. Open and friendly atmosphere. Great selection of beers of all different styles and a full liquor bar as well. I did not get any food but they do have some and it looked great.

Spent NYE there. We had a great time, food and drinks and band were all excellent. Stu was our waiter. He was the best, made us feel very welcome. He stopped by frequently to see if we needed anything. Great guy, super friendly.

Went for happy hour and early dinner last night. Craft beer lovers dream. 26 taps with a choice for everyone. Wings and sandwiches were prepared with care. Servers were all polite and cheerful. Owner Tommy was greeting patrons and making sure everybodys experience was good.

I ordered chicken wings last week and very good and now came back tonight and got a cheese burger. This burger was very thick, soft bun, and great options for additional build your burger options. It was cook to order and by far best bar food I have had in Venice, Englewood,North Port area. I also heard they are going to be opening a brewery. I cant wait to come back then. Anyone that wants some good food and atmosphere in Venice I recommend.

The discrimination was very clear. We arrived at the place. We had to sit down ourselves. They didnt even tell us anything. super horrible I do not recommend this place, if you are Latino or black better NOT GO” . Thank god we did not even try the beer it was the best thing that happened I assume they have to be BAD” we came down from tampa to waste time in that place…. Never again !!!! by the way the first time in my life that I leave a review of a place but I had to do it……

Great food and drinks. Bartender Jeff was very knowledgeable of the beer selection. Great TVs with all the sports hockey football baseball boxing you name it they will put it on. Thursday night karaoke was entertaining some good talent.

Very disappointed. We’ve been there before and it was excellent. Today the same sandwich I’d had before was apparently prepared in advance and then pressed and heated. It was still cold (out of the refrigerator cold). The beer was very good but the food was so disappointing. Not sure we’ll be back.

I absolutely love this place. The service is always prompt and friendly. I’ve been here on nights when it’s packed wall-to-wall. It’s always adaquetly staffed, so I’ve never waited more than a few minutes for a drink. The atmosphere is a sports bar/brewery feel- which I like. For brews, I really like their porter. I’m not a fan of ales, but they have several selections my friends like. People like their IPAs. I’m just not an IPA fan, so I’ve never tried it. They also have a full bar, if you’re not a beer drinker. I’m dangerously addicted to the braised brisket grilled cheese. I prefer it with smoked gouda, but there are several options. The fries are awesome too.

I call this place my happy place. Always great service and for sure most wonderful burgers and awesome fries, wow! And love their skyway IPA. I even don’t need to mention what beer I want getting there when entering my happy place! Being back very soon again!!!

We went and Service was great and the kids built their ownburger and loved them. My Pastrami was excellent. With the dining restrictions happening due to covid you never know what your gonna get at most places. We really enjoyed it. The only complaint was the onion rings were had really thick onions in them that were still kinda raw.

I came to this restaurant for the first time today expecting a wonderful meal however I left disappointed and without my money.I ordered 4 meals my total was $66.88I ordered their Ahi poke bowl and Chili for myself.I placed my order to go, after waiting for my meal I grabbed my order and went home to eat.I opened my food and to my shock the rice was old and had been microwaved to deathI literally stabbed the rice and it came up in chunks instead of fluffy separate rice grains.The avocado was HARDThe Mango pieces some was hard and other’ were over ripened.The portion was appetizer size instead of meal size.The chili tasted off like it had beer in it or was spoiled.On the other order the Mozzarella triangles were burnt either due to dirty grease or being left in too long( I think dirty grease is the cause)I called Off the wagon and spoke to Stew the Manager who offered a gift certificate I explained to him that I will not be eating at the restaurant again and I wanted a refund for the food I had to throw away due to lack of quality control from the restaurant.once I asked for a refund suddenly he had to figure out how to refund me.Stew took my name and number and promised to call me back 20 mins later I hadn’t received a call so I called him and that’s when Stew gave me the run around about how it’s going to take over an hour because only the owner can refund me etc.I still haven’t received a refund.Due to Stew’s inability to make sure the kitchen Staff sends out quality food ONLY I had to spend additional money to order food from another restaurant.If I wasn’t an indigenous woman of color Stew would had been able to issue the refund instead of making excuses.It is currently Jun 7th 2022 and I still haven’t received a refund.Update a few days later I was issued a refund.

Walked in where 4 hostesses didnt help me at all. No acknowledgement. Sat down and asked about their new brewery selection (3 Bridges Brewery). They had 5 on tap but only offered 4 in a flight. The last was only offered as a pint, not even a taste before ordering. None of the beers were great but Tasty Pig was good. Finished my tastings and had to hunt down waitress for check. May try again later, once the brewery has its legs under it and ventures into different styles.

We went this past Friday and were looking forward to a decent meal and a good evening. We won’t be returning to eat, that’s for sure.When ordering we played it safe. Bar food is pretty hard to mess up so we went with a Cuban and an order of chicken fingers.First, it took forever to get the food, but we arrived around 7 when the band was starting so no big problem there. The kitchen was backed up. Stuff happens.Unfortunately when the food arrived it was a cold cuban and fries and ridiculously over cooked chicken. The chicken was such low quality it was inedible. It was as if they found a bag with freezer burn and the dregs of chicken cast offs and decided “what the heck”. The fries weren’t much better.What was interesting is that before and during the meal the staff kept walking up to us with trays of food asking “did you order the ....?” And we’d reply “Sorry, must be someone else .” Like no one was writing down who ordered what and the staff had to wander aimlessly until they stumbled upon the correct table for the order.We may return for the music and a drink but no food. No way.

Great venue. Larger then you think once inside. We went to hear No Filter Tampa play. It was also Tommys birthday. It was a good night. Food was good and service was quick.

Cover charges are a great thing! Lets keep the music going. Having slow lazy staff is unacceptable. Living in SW Florida there are many busy breweries, restaurants, and clubs ECT. Over 30 minutes waiting for someone to take your drink order is ridiculous. Watching staff socialize and move in slow motion is a no go in my book. We use to enjoy this place. Bad service I will not tolerate. Good luck.

Its super busy so expect a little bit of wait to get your order. The servers and bartenders are some of the nicest people. Theres live music, pool, and sports playing on the many television sets. Overall, great atmosphere. Parking can be a hassle during busy nights though.

Awesome food, nice atmosphere. Roomy, modern brewery setting. Great music and entertainment line up. Good specials. Slaw was best in the land...fresh!!! Vegetarian beet Rueben surprisingly great. Nice beers brewed in premises. Prices good.

So close to the house, we are lucky... they have LIVE music and delicious food, pool tables and an their own brewery. We try and go once a month, sometimes as a date night (wun), sometimes with the kids, always fun. Right next to the movie theater, but there is enough parking. A def must when in Venice, for the food and ambiance!!!

Sad, sad day - after being a happy returning customer for the past year, we were so disappointed with OTW yesterday that we both said wed never go back. We arrived at 6:30 to celebrate a special occasion and were pleased to see the place wasnt packed. We were immediately seat but the service seemed extremely slow. The waiter took our order in about 15 minutes, and after waiting almost 20 minutes for our order, the waiter informed us they were out of veggie burgers and hamburgers because they were slammed with a huge take out order for 50 burgers. The good news is that they were grinding fresh beef and would have more shortly. After another 20 minutes go by, our food finally comes out. The burger was literally raw - when I cut through it, meat clung to the knife and blood ran out. I ordered it medium, so I sent it back. After another 15 minutes, my order comes back and half of it is medium while the other half is well done. The fries were either hard and crunchy or rubbery. We asked the waiter about the lack of quality as we were regular customers and this wasnt normal. His response was that OTW received a large take-out order for a private party and that depleted and stretched their resources. I find it VERY unacceptable to sacrifice the quality and experience for dine in customers to fill an order that should have been planned as catering services. Sadly, we will not be returning :-(

All of the food is made fresh to order, build your own burger is awesome you can customize it down to the bun with tons of toppings not to mention the meat is super tender and juicy. Pretzel sticks and fried mozzarella are 2 of my favorite apps. Chef Mike is awesome so anything your order is sure to impress.

Me and my friends stopped in here to grab a few drinks on Saturday night. The vibes were “okay”, they had a DJ that made the place more enjoyable. However, the bartenders were not attentive to our needs. Gave them $1 for tip, they will skip right over you when they see you waiting over 15 minutes for a drink.

I cant say enough about the delicious food, friendly staff, creative and scrumptious beer selection, and warm environment. Obviously the owner, chef, and managers care deeply about the restaurant, quality of food, and being impactful in the community. Who else would open their doors the day after a major hurricane because they KNEW people would need a hot meal, cold A/C, and a sense of normalcy. Kudos OTW/3 Bridges! Yall are exemplary people within this community.

Ive had some really good burgers, but dang! Their burgers are amazing! Seasoned and cooked perfectly....and their beer is fantastic. Recommend the Tasty Pig and a burger if you want the perfect dinner!

Seated for 20 minutes and not a single employee went by the table to ask for drinks. Everyone around us, even people that came after us were served. Would like to think that being hispanic had nothing to do with it, but honestly Im not sure. Very dissapointed.

Wait staff was terrible. Server found every excuse not to tend to our table properly when the place was empty. She sat at the bar talking more then I saw her do anything else there.This isnt my first bad experience here but my third. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Food was not only cold but 2 orders were not taken properly and instead of apologizing for her mistake she made us feel like it was our fault. I would not suggest this place to anyone. All around bad experiences every time.

Didn’t want to cook so decided to try food from here and I feel like we just threw $30 dollars away. Beyond disappointed!Ordered an arugula salad and a burger and fries. Salad toppings were pretty light but salad was edible. Burger was supposed to have no sauce on it but it came with a really spicy bbq sauce on it. Burger was supposed to be well done but was super pink/red. Burger was to be split between a pregnant lady and kid but the pregnant lady couldn’t eat it cause it was super undercooked and kid wouldn’t eat it cause the spicy bbq sauce. Was supposed to come with a side of ranch for the fries but that didn’t come so it was a bunch of stale overcooked fries with nothing to get dipped in so they ended up not getting eaten. I would probably give a 1 star just for the terrible food quality and lack of attention to detail with all the errors but the staff were all super nice and I’d like to give the benefit of the doubt to the place that I just got the short end of the stick this one time and it’s not their normal operations. Unfortunately first impressions tend to stick with you so I doubt we’ll go back as it’s not worth the risk of wasting so much money again.

Was OK till the bill came. They add 18% gratuity to the bill for larger groups. Im fine with that if they tell you up front. I just looked at the total and added the tip. All 4 couples in our group did the same thing. 2 of us caught it before the card was swiped. Pretty low!

Good beer, good food and good service.Prices are a bit high for some menu food items, but check it out and you decide....But love having a local brewery, especially next to the local movie theater.

Would be fine but guess but literally every. Single. Time. I come here I am ignored. As are the people Im with, and other people I dont know that are in the bar. Blatantly serving people as they walk up after me and filter through new ones that come up and wont even acknowledge my existence. And its every time Ive ever been here and its not just me.Their home brewed beer is good though (but as is expected it is NOT cheap and they dont offer any domestics).

Consistently the best food we’ve eaten in this area. Service is great, great choice of beers too. Live music sometimes.You have to order the Gatekeeper Brisket Grilled cheese, it’s Incredible !!

We love it here. The food is just so fresh and everything is made to order. Today we had the turkey and brie panini and smoked fish dip. Delicious.... The thai shrimp sammich is a must try and the ramen bowl too. We come here a few times a week for lunch and everything is great. They allow us to bring our pups also which is great since they have a fenced area. Good atmosphere, great service, amazing food and now their own brewery!

Just arrived at 10 pm on a Saturday night, SUPER hungry. We went to the escape room before eating, so by the time we got out we were starving. The guy at the front door said that he wanted a $5 cover charge per person. We informed him that we were just there to eat. He told us that the dining room was closed but we could order from the bar and then take it over to the dining area ourselves to eat. We began walking toward the bar and he stopped us, wanting $10 (because there was two of us). So wait a sec.... You want us to pay you ten bucks to come in and pay for food. Hmmm. Okay, granted the nighttime bouncer doesnt KNOW that we eat there about three times a week with an average bar and food bill thats WELL OVER $50. But really, that shouldnt have any bearing on the fact that the only decent late night restaurant wants to charge customers before charging them for food. SHAME ON YOU, Off the Wagon. We were going to place an order to go but decided to spend our money elsewhere. Maybe the should have offered a 10.00 off our food if they were so concerned about a cover charge ? So much for being loyal customers. Really. Thanks for nothing.

Great food!! We both ordered the mahi tacos and we shared the Brussels sprouts with cream sauce and bacon...yum!! Our bartender was really nice and helpful with beer selections.

This place has amazing food and literally has something for everyone!Want an amazing vegan dish, try the vegan power bowl. Want something a little less health, but equally amazing? I havent had a bad dish yet my wife and i love coming here good service great drinks and awesome food. Perfect balance of heat and sweet in alot of dishes. Burgers are great too.

The service was terrible and the people were rude. We had a group of about 8 people, upon arriving the waitress took our first drink order, from there she passed our table 10-15 times through 2 hours not once checking to see if we needed food or refills. Granted we were there to drink, so it was not that big of a deal as we continuously got drinks from the bar instead. One of our party members was a little loud but not acting outrageous, a very drunk older couple started to bad mouth our party very publicly. We told them that was rude and to keep to themselves. The couple continued to yell. The manager arrived and told us we would be kicked out if we did not stop. When quite obviously the older couple was in the wrong. All the staff was rude. No wonder they were dead in there. I would have never stepped foot in there if I would have known the service and quality of that establishment before hand. I am absolutly disgusted in the way they handle and treat their customers. We would have spent a lot of money but they insisted on treating us poorly and allowing their drunken regulars run the show. Please do not go to this place.

Food and beer were Great. besides the food i got a growler filled, but on my bill there was just one price for everything. that mskes it difficult to figure out the tip and how much the meal was. i dont understand why it was presented to me in this form.

The metamorphosis of this establishment has been nothing short of astonishing. The consistent effort to provide the Venice and surrounding areas with superb food, a local & well run brewery with currently 17 selections on tap and consistently the best entertainment available is commendable. You will find some negative reviews from a recent group of people who were asked to leave when they brought outside food (taco bell) and abused the staff. As a 40 year resident of Venice and a business owner I empathize with the owner who has always put forth the effort to put together a comfortable, welcoming place for all to enjoy. And while he sometimes falls short of the goal, as we all do, his efforts have not gone unnoticed by those of us who conduct ourselves as well behaved citizens of Venice should. My apologies to the owner and staff of Off The Wagon. When you open your establishment to all who would enjoy, you also make yourself a target for those who would like to see you fail due to their own inadequacies. Kudos to the owners and staff at Off The Wagon/3 Bridges Brewery. Please keep up the good work for the silent majority who appreciate your erforts.

Food decent, way overpriced for what it is. Menu has lots to offer. Multiple trips has made me notice that the wait staff is not super attentive and lacks request follow through.Would reccomend to out of towners, or visits every once in a while if your a local.

Just plain awful. Was working for client and ordered take out. Burger not cooked as ordered. Specifically stated no pickels on burger but got them. I dont like that taste on my burger. Onion rings so under cooked breading was doughy gross. No napkins in bag. Being in the Food Service Industry over several years, Id give it a 1/2 🌟

Went 12/23/2019. We were a group of 12. Service best ever, waiter was a young slender male, efficient, fast, no missteps. Food hot, good portions, wine nice and cold.

Fabulous selection of draft beers!! Many are crafted onsite. Lots of entertainment from trivia contests on Monday nights to live music on the weekend. Right next door to the movie theater. Smoking area outside but NOT at the pass thru window which gives access to the bar.

If youre seeking craft beer, I feel this place focuses more on the bar and restaurant and the brewery happens to be here too. Service is always lacking. Its 3 ⭐ worthy.

My reservation was for a specific table and you DID NOT honor my reservation. You tried to move me to a different location, even though the table I reserved was still available. The reason you did not honor my reservation was because you could seat a couple more people at that table if you moved me. Your pursuit of a few more dollars is why I left and then gave you negative reviews. The threat was a statement that I had left positive reviews for you in the past and would leave negative reviews now. If that is a threat to you, you are as pathetic a manager as I thought you were! Lastly, to try and masquerade your actions as having anything to do with Covid is disgusting and an insult to anyone who has actually had to deal with the horrors of being sick from Covid or lost a loved one to this horrible virus!

We love the food and are always taken care of. OTW is our home location for our pool team and has been for 3 years.Anyone that posts a complaint is likely having a bad day or hasnt spent enough time here to appreciate the effort the staff puts in to getting to know the customers, and the service they will provide.

A great local brewery offering a large selection of beer. With a large indoor seating area and a nice size outdoor cafe section. The ahi appetizer was excellent.

Perhaps because the place is so big but our food was not hot when served.The brisket grilled cheese was recommended by our server but it was dry, tasteless and had almost no cheese.

Worst experience. Came in with my girlfriend tonight and had the worst service. Server took forever to take our drink order, even leaning over our table while trying to figure out where the birthdate was on my girlfriends ID. After finally placing our order (an ipa and an Otw lemonade), we received our drinks and my girlfriend hated her OTW lemonade. Said it tasted like straight syrup. Told our server she didn’t like it and she just said “okay”. She picked up both drinks, walked away and then brought my beer back and said I needed to finish it since I was paying for it. I’ve never left a restaurant feeling as upset and disrespected as I did tonight.

Great place to get a drink with friends. The food was phenomenal but the service was subpar. Attitude was below average. We just tried to have a good time while on spring break but we were disappointed with the service.

My son celebrated his 16th birthday today. He chose Off The Wagon. He loves the burgers. Brian was our server. He waited on us once before. Brian is very attentive and personable. He remembered our drinks and made sure Cayden had a good birthday. The food is constantly good. I usually have one of the many daily specials. I chose a menu item tonight, the rockfish sandwich. It was good and well seasoned. My vegan boyfriend had the falafel pita special. He was very pleased. 5 star experience.

Excellent, made from scratch food from the amazing roast beef grilled cheese to the chicken and waffles. Jay and Kim are helpful, courteous and really know how to take care of you!! I’m back for sure with every friend that finds to visit!!

Clean and sanitary. We brought our dogs and they were so nice to all of us. The food is incredible. Not like a chain. The chef...thats the guy.

The only bar Ive ever been kicked out of, completely sober. An argument broke out and I got in the middle of it to deter it. They took my full drink and when I questioned the security guard Don he said I can do whatever I want. I then spoke to the bar manager Jay, who was completely cool at first. He told me he would take a look into it. We stepped outside and there was a gentleman starting problems in front of us. I asked are you going to kick him out? I didnt start anything, he clearly is low and behold they didnt kick him out. I then proceeded to tell the bar manager that he wasnt competent enough to run an establishment. He then said I had to leave the entire complex. I then asked Arent there other businesses in this complex? You dont own the complex right? He had no response other than he would call the police. I invited him to do so, Im a competent individual that doesnt commit crimes and has no record. I will be following up with the manager Tommy. I will also be letting everyone know what a terrible place this is. For your own sake, dont go here.

The few beers I tried were tasty...thats all you need....BUT...The food was also very tasty...the wings are bomb and both sauces matched... The bacon burger I had was one of the best.. My son had the Ramen and he almost ate the bowl it was so good...

Very clean and nice place, the staff is extremely friendly and always very helpful. Always fun events going on every night and there are a lot of good variable choices for the food. All in all a great experience!

I went to this place for the first time it was a very nice atmosphere the burgers were good the chips were over cooked the onion rings were massively impressive but doughy inside and I had ordered a 12-oz New York that came with asparagus and baked potato the baked potato what is room temperature and not completely cooked it was hard my steak and asparagus where is smothered in what was to be a mushroom sauce it is very oily I was unable to eat my dinner my server cowered down and avoided our table until the end when he brought the bill that stood up for himself opposed to the customer manager was not brought over until the very end when I refuse to pay for food I could not eat and then they still charge me half price for the food that I could not eat if you want to have drinks and play pool and listen to music this place is perfect for you rule of thumb when youre in a burger joint order burgers

We love OTW!! Being under the age of 60, we try to find fun places to go and different night life establishments but ALWAYS end up going to OTW by the end because it’s a guaranteed good time! Food is phenomenal, the beer they brew makes my mouth water, and the staff is on point! Let’s not forget about the security! When me and my girlfriends want to have a good night and not be harassed we know the boys at OTW have our backs and are quick to take care of belligerents. I highly recommend for a good time.

Want drama? Go here! South Venice trying wayyyy too hard to be a less than decent brewery & concert venue?... Watched a guy get stabbed in the parking lot a couple years back (somehow survived). Dont support this new york trash hole. Go to Bogeys, Calusa, or Outlook for a way better local time

Food out of this world. Great home brew selection... beer priced too high , but worth a visit for the person that really likes great beer .

Really have enjoyed the restaurant with the micro brewery in the past years. I hope everything works out well with the division

Had a couple of Quickys and a pull we d pork sandwich. Pretty good. They also had a good classic rock band.

Great place to have a burger and a beer and listen to music. Every Wednesday Bandana plays rock and roll. Amazing local band.

Excellent food and better beer. Family vibe with an amazing Oak tree in the backyard dining area. A must see if in the are.

One of the few places in Venice to get great food after 10:00 p.m. Great craft beer is a huge plus also.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!Everything from a kitchen that can’t cook more than two orders at once without ruining both, to a useless incompetent waitstaff that doesn’t know how to refill a beverage or provide a condiment. The leadership is argumentative and accusatory. Spend your time and money elsewhere!!!!!

Great place for live band and pool tables. Only thing wrong is they close 10:00pm, which is very early. But that can be corrected the management.

Food is good and prices are great, good shows on Wednesday and weekends, I will like to see more music for young people not too much into 50th, 60th and 70th music...

Saturday lunch for two. Excellent food off regular menu. Curtious waitress. Liesurly delivery was appropriate for the day.

Fantastic selection of beer, great service, only issue was picking what to eat from a dizzying array of fantastic sounding food.

Made a trip there with a group of friends, which is something I rarely do ever. Only to be denied of entry because I was wearing a backwards hat, (which is apparently strictly prohibited).. They claimed it was gang related.. cmon people!! Thanks for ruining my night/first impression.
