Massage Envy

Got a massage Monday afternoon and had Jeremy. It was absolutely perfect. Lots of stress going on right now plus PT and Jeremy took time to ask the questions without of course “wasting” the time and then proceeded to do the best massage Ive had in a REALLY long time. I usually do med pressure and then soft or firm depending on location but it was great and he was very nice. I did go up to reschedule with him though and it sounded like he might be leaving in the next month so i will be sad if he does go and in case, i scheduled him again for later this week!

I loved my massage with Martha! She used some great techniques on me and was very kind and polite! I definitely recommend her! Thanks again Martha!

I have been a Massage Envy member since 2011 and I’ve had dozens of massages. Perla is by far one of the best if not the BEST massage therapist I’ve ever had. She is deserving of any bonus or praise. She is exceptional!

I really appreciate Elaine. Her professionalism and expertise are off the charts. As a registered nurse, I was able to ask her how to take care of my skin properly.. she not only went to great detail, she even wrote down what she had shared with me so I would not forget it. When I’m in Phoenix again, I will be sure to make an appointment to see her. If I was her employer, she would be a highly valuable employee to me, I wish her the best and her career. ❣️👋🏽🫶🏽

This was only the second facial I’ve ever had so was a little nervous. Jessenia was amazing and it was the most relaxing experience! She is so sweet and really provided the best facial. I have already rebooked with her next month!

Great experience. Michael was able to work out some of the worst knots in my neck and shoulders. Never have been able to find someone able to get it out before. Highly recommend if you have muscle issues to see him!

Had a great first massage with Veronica. I was gifted a massage for a bithday gift and it was the perfect start to my day. Veronica was very educational without being pushy for a sale. She really allowed me to relax while keeping me informed with products and services that they offered. I really enjoyed my time. I would recommend this location. Only thing I would probably do different would be to rest in the quite room for just a moment before leaving the building...going from darkness to so much light can make you a little dizzy. Lol. So move slowly

My first experience at Massage Envy was a pleasant and enjoyable session led by Elaine. Elaine was super sweet and knowledgeable in helping me get to know what my face needs and what products to use. The session itself was relaxing and enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back soon.

I had a facial with Elaine she has good energy and gave the best facial I’ve ever had! Her attention to detail was amazing. She is the reason I didn’t cancel my membership as I was having a terrible time trying to book at other locations.

I cant speak enough about Tameka and the care she is providing me. (Girl, forgive me if I spelled your name wrong) Talk about someone who cares and wants to help you, Ive never before had a massage therapist take my situation home to ponder and come up with more and more things to try to help me. My 90-min massage with Jeremy was absolutely amazing. Although he said he was providing “firm” pressure since his shift began, he catered to my “soft” pressure. He was so attentive and I had the best nap…. I even caught myself 🤤

I really enjoy taking time for myself and getting a massage. Veronica at massage envy is exactly what I need .. she has the perfect touch.. she always makes me feel safe, relaxed, and mostly, amazing!!

My neck and shoulder have been in so much pain, I’ve had to call out of work. Mike worked on my neck and shoulder for an hour I felt so much better. Today is the first day in 2 weeks I haven’t woke up in pain. Thank you so much Mike and message envy!

Michael gave an incredible massage and great advice for how to manage my muscle tension outside of massages. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs serious muscle pain relief and good conversation.

Jorge gives a great deep tissue massage! They do charge add on fees for just about everything from essential oils to hot stones, but it is a clean & nice facility. The staff is professional & they speak English!

Management and office staff is downright rude and unprofessional. I’ve been going to the Goodyear location for years, and they’re always so sweet and professional. Today I showed up 30 minutes early to my appointment as I usually do and waited in my car until 5 min before when I checked in. The Goodyear staff let me know that my appointment somehow got booked in Avondale, but they would call them and it would be ok. I rushed out to drive to the Avondale location 15 minutes away and also called them myself on the way. The girl who answered the call blamed me for the situation and stated they would have to take a credit for me cancelling- I stated multiple times I was on my way and not to cancel. I asked to speak to a manager and got Amanda. She repeatedly chastised me for “running late” and “not wanting her massage therapist to be compensated for her time”. The amount of backhanded comments during our conversation was ridiculous. A good manager tries to understand the situation and try to help the customer. She was acting like I was trying to cancel last minute. I’ve never been late to any appointments or canceled last minute. She treated me like a liar despite the fact that Goodyear called them regarding the situation and they could clearly hear me driving and stressing out over the situation. Long story short, she rudely told me she was cancelling my appointment and dramatically said that she would have to compensate the massage therapist from “her own pocket” as if it was hundreds of dollars the company wouldn’t cover due to this mixup. They pay $20 an hour, which I would have happily paid to keep my credit or just have done the massage if they would have waited for me to get there. Any positive reviews are obviously for their massage therapists, which I’m sorry have to work with a manager who won’t have the company compensate them the whopping $20 they’re owed when a scheduling mistake is made.

Genevieve was amazing. She has magic hands. I went in for a deep tissue massage and she delivered. I would highly recommend her.

Martha was fantastic! Made me feel very comfortable and I was able to relax and truly enjoy the massage! I will continue to go back and see her for my future appointments! 😁

I started going to massage therapy because I had sciatica. I was using a cane. Veronica is amazing; she helped me through it. After 2 sessions, I was back to normal. I recommend Veronica and add stretching to the massage. Thank you Veronica.

Love, massage envy and their massage therapist they’ve saved me multiple times. I mean going in there with pain. I don’t even understand where its coming from. I’d highly recommend their deep tissue massage and their trigger point therapy trained masseuses. Next time I go, I’m gonna also try the cupping therapy. Definitely worth checking out.

Great massage therapist. I’ve seen him twice during my prenatal massage. I fell asleep during the last one and was woken up when the time was up. I hope that lets you know how relaxed I was.

Just a complete regret. They are nice but still sales folks I do not recommend the membership, too much cost for mistakes. There are more contract free cost effective choices out there.

My first time here and the staff were all welcoming a nice. Never had a massage before and Jessie walked me through everything and she did amazing! Not too soft or too hard, just perfect.Thank you all

Veronica was excellent. Perfect pressure and very knowledgeable. You could tell she knows what she is doing and was very caring.

By far the worst. A therapist sat in the corner and mistakenly thought I was asleep. Tried to cancel and change to another home location and they refused. Finally cancelled after the prepaid services I had built up are done. Go to Goodyear location.

I just went on 05/03 and it was great. I ended up seeing Alexis - she was amazing. This woman deserves a raise!

In order to get into facility you need to arrive 30 minutes early in order to park your vehicle in place where parking is located. On arrival I was greeted, at front my husband was already waiting for me and filing out his information on tablet as we had to drive separately and he experience same parking issues!!! I wish I had taken photos of parking lot I literally had to wait to park my and manuevuer our escalde in parking lot due no space to park waiting for fast food place card to move!!! We were taken back after filing out information to the relax room which is pictures I submitted of relaxing room. Thats was very peaceful and serene. We booked for a couples massage and made the appointment a week early and then were asked if we wanted to recieve our massages separately, we were puzzled? Then we went back had our couples massage the therapists deserve 5 stars hands down. Then when we left my husband left behind his necklace after our 5 to 6pm appointment. Once discover at 621 we immediately called and were told we they can not interrupt and no one brought anything up, we understood and were on our way from buckeye to retrieve item at 7. It was an item that was near and dear to my husband from religious and holds much value to us money cant put a price on it. We were told it would be looked for at 7pm. So we then called at 659 to make sure they did not forget and was told by lead Zahaira that there was nothing that could be done they forgot about it. She was rude and unprofessional, I asked for a manager and she said I am closet thing you will get to a manager. She did not reassure my husband and I that she would look for our item. She told us at first well we are all booked up in couples rooms for the remainder of night and the is only a few minutes between each massage. We then asked can you please let us know when we call you back to remind you not forget once again our value item. She rudly said some time today, finally after our persistence she said in 1 hour. I then again called at at 749pm and was placed on hold immediately and was informed there are few customers ahead of you hold please. Then once she returned to phone she called me by name and said Crystal we found it at 803pm 13 mins on hold. I waited on hold all that time, frustaing no front office staff. The voice you hear on other line can ruin your whole experience lack of customer service skills in times of high volume and stressful situations. We definitely wont go back, and not because of massage.

Michael is the best at deep tissue massage. Have been his client for over a year. Won’t go to anyone else.

Tameka provided one of the best massages I have ever received at this Massage Envy location. She was polite, attentive to my requests, and patient when I had to move slowly from stiffness in my back. She did a fantastic job at targeting my problem areas that needed to be massaged. She is now the massage therapist that I will always personally request for my future appointments.

Elaina was very personable and informative with my first facial ever! She walked through everything she was doing and made the experience great!

They used to be good. Then they got bad. They could never schedule me in, but never failed to charge me. By the time I canceled with them they had $1600 of mine worth of credit for services that I never got. They wouldn’t refund it either. I would not recommend this place at all anymore.

I love coming here for a massage. Perla is the best, she is very friendly and attentive.

Very good. I only like the deep tissue and he knew where all the pressure points where. I highly recommend if you like the deep tissue massage.

I have never had a more relaxing massage before. She flows from one area to the other like a dance. Felt so relaxed when I left. She is awesome. Perla also works on my neck like no one has ever before. I wont go to anyone else.

I did not like the massage by Martha. The people at the desk were not kind.I had gone for an hour massage and they did the massage for 45 minutes and ,she even did not massage the whole body.I would not recommend this place to anyone.Bad experience.

From 5 to 3 stars... I Had a great experience, very clean, kind and welcoming staff. The massage was nothing too special, although it was nice. The staff at the store, as I mentioned was kind and welcoming...until it came time to pay. I filled in a spot for my Girlfriend that was stick and couldnt make it. The staff nagged me on purchasing a membership...and wanted me to pay 100 dollars for the massage. I informed them it was paid for..and they made me pay a 10 transfer fee (when there selling point for the membership is that you can go to any of the locations nationwide. They said that couldnt get ahold of the store the membership was though and made me give them my credit card to bill me if they couldnt get a ahold of the store.The staff needs some training on communication as well on there policies and best practices. Untill then, I would stay away from this specific location.

Sunday I had a 90 minute facial with Edith and it was cloud 9..She is so gentle and soft spoken that she put me to sleep..Talk about relaxation, never disappointed, cant wait till my next session.Thank you for the hard work Edith you are amazing!

Genevieve is always fantastic, I book with her each time for my massage because she is very thorough and gets all of my knots out. I always feel so much lighter afterwards. Definitely would recommend Genevieve!

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!! I booked a same day facial (7/16/23). Unfortunately had an emergency and could not make the appointment. Amanda the manager, called to tell me “with an attitude”, that they would be changing me 1/2 the service for not showing up. I told her I was unaware of that policy, I wasn’t told of any policy when I booked the appointment. So how can they hold me accountable for a policy I have no knowledge of? Her next words were, well we have you bank information on file, Unfortunately, I use to be a member back in 2020, and my bank account should have been closed along with my account. So they STOLE and unauthorized fee from my bank. I will be called the corporate office and my bank to dispute the charges. I am under NO contract with them and was treated with total disregard. Also, who can they just choose a facial that was never decided to use how they would change me.

The staff was very friendly and helpful at the front desk. Veronica was awesome I was very relaxed.

Don’t waste your time or money. For the last 4 appts my wife and I had they have either been cancelled or reduced from 90 to 60 minutes or therapist did t show or was late and another provided a service that was substandard and when paying for the upgraded treatment have not always received it. Time to cancel our two memberships and join Elements as the staff at the Avondale location do not care to provide adequate service. What a joke on how to run a business!’UPDATE: 10-29-23Visit scheduled with Tamekia and she is now my go to person. Magic hands and fingers! A total different experience from previous visit. Hopefully it continues!UPDATE: 12-8-23Once again 5 stars to Tamekia. She hit all the right spots!!UPDATE: 2-2024. 5+ stars to Perla!! The very best!

5/21 I had a great massage by Veronica. She was very attentive in making sure I was okay with the pressure. I would make another appointment with her in the future.

I called ME last minute to schedule due to shoulder and back pain and was fortunate enough to get an appt with Perla. She was amazing! We discussed my areas of pain and she focused on those areas perfectly! I will def be back to see her!

Awesome masseuse working there! Id give them 5 Stars were it based solely on the quality of the massage service they give. HOWEVER, BE AWARE and avoid their subscription/membership plans and programs! Demand for their massages is great. Consequently, if your preference is for Deep Tissue massage, getting scheduled for one when YOU want one, vs. when they are available, is problematic. Even more frustrating than having to wait days, or even 2 weeks, to get scheduled, they charge you to transfer your massage credits, AND try to force you to pay for services you couldnt get scheduled for! Since you arent allowed to cancel the membership by phone, only in person, you must show up, AND PAY for the back months you werent able to use - because of THEIR UNAVAILABILITY!! They will cancel my account/membership at SOME point but Ive learned my lesson. No more Massage Envy!

I was extremely impressed by the professional staff and quality of my massage. Perla did a phenomenal job at making me feel comfortable and ensuring my massage was just the right amount of pressure. It is sometimes difficult finding someone who does a nice firm massage, however Perla was great. I look forward to making another appointment in the near future.

This location has always been friendly and shows care to every client that walks in the door. I started going to this location this year, and I have never had a bad experience here! Perla (my therapist) has really helped me with my concerns on my body; and she is excellent on recommendations for aftercare between sessions.The entire staff here is a wealth of knowledge, and I know I will never leave disappointed.

Susanna IS the most intuitive and understanding masseuse I have ever been with. Attentive to the emergent issues in a massage, her flow was smooth , firm and inquisitive. The staff at Massage Envy is very professional, as well as safety conscious. I’ve been coming here pre- pandemic and was always satisfied with the cleanliness, sanitization process and personal care that each staff member took to insure that your massage is safe and relaxing. Now, I’ve noticed that the staff is even more concerned with the personal safety cleanliness and safety of each and every person that comes through their door, and that helped to put me at ease (I’ve been very cautious about unnecessary exposure during this whole pandemic).My massage therapist Susanna is absolutely amazing. If you’ve never had a hot stone massage, please, you owe it to yourself! (I suggest making an appointment with Susanna and let her custom taylor your massage with you). Susanna asks the right questions, and always re confirms with you as she’s working on you. Her knowledge, skill, technique and pride in her work clearly show. She informs you of what you are going to feel before she applies the stones, urges you to give feedback as soon as she does and re confirms your comfort soon after the stones are applied.I usually have tightness in my mid back and shoulders and Susanna is able to target those areas and apply more pressure as necessary, again confirming my comfort.There is so much more I can say, but I’ll sum it up with this... In these stressful and hectic times, you deserve to treat yourself to a little escape to help maintain your sanity. Diane is amazing. I have never had a facial that left me floating in relaxation. She treats my face as if her only mission is to care for my skin and make the experience worth coming back.Had my first 90 minute facial with Diane and it was over way too quickly. She is amazing. I have already scheduled my next 90 minute. I couldn’t believe I got a mask on my hands. OMG did that feel great.

I have had a Massage Envy membership for about a year now and all of my experiences have been wonderful. Everyone is very knowledgeable and kind, whether I am getting a facial or a massage. My most recent visit, I tried Total Body Stretch for the first time and I absolutely loved it. Tamekia took the time to carefully assess me and make sure I was comfortable. Whenever I asked a question she was quick to answer and explain where I should be feeling the stretch. And I believe the massage afterward was only enhanced due to her session. Thank you for hiring people who love what they do!

Have been a member of Massage Envy in Avondale, AZ, for several years now. Susana has excellent hands on massage skills and always finds areas that I wasnt aware of that are tight and then works the kinks out nicely. She has a most friendly personality and is very skilled in her massage techniques. A+ rating.

Edited to update for today:Just wanted to say I had Juan as my massage therapist for the first time today and it was sensational. He did a fantastic job. Please make sure manager knows.Fernando is the absolute best! I have been getting deep tissue massages from him every 2 weeks for a few months now and he is skilled, knowledgeable, professional and these appointments 100 percent help my fitness muscle recovery from workouts and keep me in top shape. A specific example I have to highlight was this past week. I booked an additional session specifically for him to work on my legs prior to a race I was running. He listened to my needs, addressed them, and I performed at a higher level during my race than I anticipated I could. I attribute that to the work he did prior to help my legs be at their best.

Ive been going to Massage Envy for several months now. I have never had a massage prior to this. Each time Ive scheduled with a different massage therapist. They have all been good. This time Perla was no exception. I caught myself falling asleep.

I truly love this location and every therapist has their own unique style. I had a 90-minute session with Perla. If you can get a 90-minute session on the schedule, grab it! The extra time is so worth it.I love her attention to the problem areas.

I’m sure Suzanne is a wonderful professional! I wouldn’t know. I made the mistake of attempting to schedule an appointment with massage envy. I don’t want this score to affect her in any way. Getting off of a red eye flight and arriving in Phoenix I call my massage envy in flagstaff, or so I thought. They answered joyfully and booked me a cancellation for next day. I arrive at my appointment and turned away after being eduction the details of the appointment. I was met with a surprisingly unfazed front desk person. “Oh you didn’t know you were calling the Avondale location?” With a tone of voice I find to be top notch sarcasm mixed with customer service 101. I forfeit the credits for the massage, tipped $40 and was not even acknowledged for the misunderstanding. Clearly I made a mistake. I made the mistake of not going thought this process with a fine tooth comb and doing my part to make sure that my experience that I am investing in is worthwhile. And that when I use this service if ever again, I better be on my absolute best behavior and I need to go above and beyond every single time without fail in order to make sure that I am the most exquisite customer that’s ever walked through the doors or called the phone to Massage Envy.

This was 90 minutes visit of frustration and not relaxation. I am a member of approximately 10 years with Massage Envy and have used the services all over the country traveling for work. I have only had one experience years ago that was unsatisfactory.This was my first visit with Juliana. First, she was performing my massage with one hand and two fingers (index and Thumb). then she was squeezing my skin finishing with pinches. I was laying thinking is she going to have the other hand join at some point and provide a tissue massage. Her profile stated she wasn’t a deep tissue therapist but she asked me if I wanted more pressure. She layer her entire body weight on her elbow in my shoulder, back and sciatic nerves. I was jumping like a jellybean throughout telling her to lighten up it felt like she was trying to push me through the table. This was the Avondale,AZ location. This is why I normally have a few therapist I am familiar with in rotation because if the session is horrible you can very rarely get you 90 minutes and nearly $200 back. I asked the young lady at the desk if there was a manager in the house she said no but she will have her reach out to me the next day. This is two weeks later and I’m still waiting for the manager. I gave 2 stars and very minimal gratuity because my Pedi enhancement was good.

Perla should be recognized for her spectacular massage skills. Every month, my 90 minute massages are therapeutic, relaxing and effectively targeted at my back and shoulder tightness - I highly recommend Perla!

I had my first massage of the year with Tamekia and her service was phenomenal. She really paid attention to the areas I said were bothering me- my shoulders and shoulder blades- and she applied a good range of pressure to the areas. I almost fell asleep on the table, which I consider a high compliment! I will definitely book her again.

My 1st time in and will definitely be back again! Dyana did a great job and could feel a difference in my neck and shoulders by the time we were done! Environment was welcoming and relaxing. Only difference I would have is essential oils flowing through during the massage as my nose got stuffed and it was a little hard to breathe out of my nose being face down for so long.

I’ve been here before for massages. Pearla is fantastic. Has the perfect pressure. My daughter had Diana as her esthetician and absolutely loved her. Diana put my daughter at ease for her facial and was quite personable. Thank you!Return customer again yesterday. Perla is always on point. Definitely got some huge knots out of my shoulders. Jovanny was really nice and did a good job I havent had a massage in over 5 years I sent to hey one because Ive had some terrible pain in my back and he did what he could. He was really friendly and I would recommend. Jovanny thank you for and you get a 5 gold stars 🌟 ... also the front desk people were really friendly as well I didnt have to wait long. Only bad thing i can say is I wish the massage was longer

Had my first massage with Jovanny and I’m glad to say it was amazing and an all around, exceptional experience. I’ve gotten other massages with some of the other staff and they were good but Jovanny was just so considerate of the pressure I needed and I left without a migraine and with so much relief. He went beyond and above what I had asked for and really focused on my problem areas. I will definitely be booking with him from now on!

8/2/22 Saw Jovanny today an he was very attentive continually asked if the pressure was okay, took time to work on the spots that I noted. He was very respectful and his demeanor was very soft and kind.Just love Susanna, she took the time to listen to my concerns and tended to my tension areas and knots. Had the hot stone massage with her also which was so relaxing

Always clean and staff is friendly. For awhile its been almost impossible to find a good therapist. They seem to come and go very quickly. Not sure if its a management issue or a poor salary issue but they need to work on things.The therapist I have right now is one of the best Ive had. Tip: When you find one you like and you go on a regular basis, you should book ahead. Once people discover them its hard to get an appointment.They have some great add-ons that I suggest indulging in when you can afford it. My favorite is the hot stone. However, no one seems to be trained in that, which is disappointing. The foot scrub is also amazing, I highly recommend trying it. If you have a pesky muscle that gives you troubles, they have an icy hot treatment that really is helpful also. Ive tried some aromatherapy offerings they have and they smell good, but other than that I havent found their worth.

Tamekia O. is the BEST! I will only go to her but she does the training for the others so I can only assume they are good too. I will never go to another masseuse unless she quits. Lol. This place is amazing. Other staff is amazing also. I have had facials and they were also very good. For 3 years I have seen the same therapist and wont go anywhere else. I hope she never leaves!

Dayana was AMAZING and just what this pregnant lady needed. I’ve been working a high stress ICU job for six years, and 7 months of pregnancy really added to those chronic back problems, and I left feeling so much better and much less pain. And having such a sweet and down to earth therapist definitely was a plus since I’ve never ever gotten myself a massage before.

I dont typically leave 4 star reviews but my husband did not like the service by Sue up front. He felt that she was unprofessional. We have visited the Avondale location several times with smooth check ins and check outs. Our massages were amazing, no doubt about it. He recommeds Kamilah highly. I wish I had a good experience yesterday but I didnt. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time only to find out my appointment was not in the system. The lady I was booked with had someone else scheduled for the same time. Thankfully I had my confirmation for the appointment I had made almost 2 weeks ago. We waited to see if her appointment would show up and during this time it was very clear she did not want to do my massage. The scheduled time was passed at this point and thats when the manager said she needed to take me back since I was there. With this her response was I would hate for him to show up and not get his massage. It was like I was an inconvenience even though I had definitely made an appointment. Massage finally started around 2:15 but the scheduled time was 2pm. She didnt dim the lights which I thought was even more awkward. It was one of the most awkward massages I had ever had. I wasnt able to relax and not just because of the lights or her attitude but the massage itself was horrible. She ended around 2:55, I had looked at my phone at 2:58 once I got off the table. I didnt even get my full hour, when I WAS ON TIME. I shouldnt of got shorted for a mistake that was not mine. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the receptionist was actually nice and offered me a free facial if I wasnt able to get the massage.

My first time here and first full massage. The check in process was quick and uses an iPad where you consent to where you can be touched. Paperless intake is always a plus when it works. Jovanny was my masseuse and he did a great job. He asked about the spots to target, if the pressure was good, and told me to let him know if I felt any pain points. I like that he gave warning for all the tough spots like my back. It was a good experience and I would go again. Feel very loose after the experience. I guess I feel Massage Envy.

Ive been a member of massage envy for many years.......at least 10. I have back issues and need at least 2 massages/month to aid with my pain. I have been working with Kamilah for a few months now. She gives an amazing massage and has a wonderful personality. I highly recommend her.

Money hungry company! Horrible horrible! This company acts as a collections company. I had a new Credit card issued since my last one was stolen.Message envy contacted VISA behind my back to obtain my new card number since my last one declined. Massage Envy did not try to reach out to me concerning the issue of my card declining . No voicemail. Nothing. Which of respect for a customer and for the fact that I AM PAYING FOR THEIR SERVICE, they should have given me a call/email. Anything but nothing. And to top it off they charged me $65 twice this month. Why? Makes no sense. And the massage itself was horrible. Ive been to actual professionals. Where they require to remove your shirt and bra to get all your back. When I had mine I was about to remove my bra and I was told no, they would just work around my bra. This place is more like chiropractor. Nothing more. Im just so enraged that they act as if I OWE THEM, going behind my back and contacting visa. A money hungry company. Good doesnt come to those who behave this way.

My husband decided he wanted us to get massages. I called on Friday to request appointments for Saturday, same time preferred. We were kindly put on the cancelation list. A few hours later I was called and booked for us both at 1pm Saturday. The reception was friendly and welcoming. Full of information. We were offered the Couples room❤️ The massages were fantastic. Checked in aIong the way to verify i was happy and comfortable. I highly recommend Jovanny and this location.

I fall asleep every time I get a massage from Perla! She has magic hands I swear!! She always tells you when she is finished where there was a lot of tension and tells you what you need to stretch, like the neck or shoulders!!! First time seeing Jaime. Explained I had some minor issues with a bulging disc, showed her where. She listened intently and took notes. Although, I visit Massage Envy (ME) quite often, she took time to explain what she was gonna do. She assured me that I would have a great massage. And; I can say, she didn’t let me down. I tell you, I have NEVER in the 7-8 years of being a member of ME have I ever had a massage such as this! I hate to say it but want those who are viewing the comments to be clear on my transparency so you can really get an idea of this young ladies expertise. I woke up several times sleep & drooling in my masks. I had a 90 min session & when I finally came to, I felt like I was in HEAVEN! I felt better! All the tension was gone! And, my main issue I came in about the tension & pain was removed! It was a great session and I would definitely come back & see her!!!One of the things I did learn through this, is that there really are capable & seasoned vets at the facility & sometimes it’s best when your regular masseuse is unavailable so that you can venture out & trust the staff at ME verses sticking to one!Great front desk staff & Jaime was the best!!! This location has canceled my appointments more than Ive actually had a massage done here. Its frustrating to make an appointment weeks in advance and then get canceled on with less than a days notice. Not scheduling here again.

I was able to get a same day appointment as I tweaked my back pretty bad. I asked for hot towels but none were available for some reason. Juliana was good and adjusted her pressure when asked a couple of times. It was difficult for me to get dressed after the massage and she knocked asking if I was ok. I just struggled getting dressed and afterwards felt she was rushed to clean the room and provided me with a quick goodbye drink water standard exit. Check out was fine but still seemed standard. I was in pain and could have been provided with a bit more care and concern.

Jovanny did a fantastic job dealing with back pain I have had for months. I have had physical therapy and other massages and no one has been able to reduce my pain. I have only gone to massage envy a few times in the past. I had a massage gifted to me by my mother-in-law and made an appointment for my day off. I go to school and work full-time in the hospital so my time is very limited. I know when I have days off because they are few in between. When making my appointment the girl confirmed with me twice over the phone for the day and time that we agreed on. I was sent a confirmation text and asked to confirm but unfortunately I did not look closely at the date and hit confirm trusting that it had been entered correctly. While at work today I received a message that they were looking forward to me coming in today which was obviously incorrect. When the manager called me, I stated to her that this has been a mistake and tomorrow is my only free time until the next week. She apologized and rescheduled with me as well as gifting me an additional 30 minutes. Not too long after this conversation, she sends me a text with a screenshot of me confirming the appointment and stating that in order for her masseuse to get paid I would be charged 100%. But that she was still giving me the gift of 30 minutes. I explained to her the situation and she continue to just go round and round with me and basically stated no matter what since I agreed on the text confirmation, that this is their policy and I was going to be penalized for it. I find it very upsetting considering that this will be the first time they’ve ever had an issue with my appointments and me explaining the miscommunication as well as them not taking into consideration that their employee had made a mistake. So my understanding today was that regardless of their employees mistake which they “ can’t prove because she wasn’t on the phone when the appointment was made” and they don’t record phone calls or who made the appointment ... that’s not good for your customers or employees.But hey! It’s still my fault, I should have caught there employees mistake and because I didn’t this was going to be on me. This was very bad customer service and I will never return to this office again and I’m very disappointed in the manager who dealt with my situation today. I honestly don’t care if they respond to this and try to rebuttal because we both know what happened and I will be filing a complaint.

I have been going to the Massage Envy at 99th and McDowell for over a year now and have never had a bad experience. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. My massage therapist there is Tamekia and she is excellent. She always uses just the right amount of pressure and spends more time on my areas of concern and I always leave there feeling relaxed and refreshed.

My massage with Tamekia was the absolute best. I went in with so much pain and came out with complete relief. If you are looking for a therapist with strong hands that is able to maintain deep pressure throughout, shes your girl!!

This location lacked cleanliness especially in waiting/reception area, but massage was very good, and staff was pleasant.

This was my second time seeing Jovanny and he does a really great job. He asked all kinds of questions on what I needed and then proceeded to give me a great massage in those troubled areas. Just left the location. Not real pleased with how long I waited for the massage to begin and then it was ended 15 minutes short of the end time. I requested a 90 min massage if I got a total of 60 minutes id be surprised. The therapist was not rude but the bedside manner was not acceptable in my mind. The therapist communicated to me only three times. When I arrived when I had to turn over and when time was up. When she needed to readjust me she would just pull the pillow out from under me. She moved my legs in different directions than I was use to almost rolled me off the bed because it not only surprised me but actually hurt so I naturally reacted to which I was told to relax. I an extremely disappointed with the cost for what I received and left there aggravated and annoyed. Thats opposite for relaxed massage envy. After I was complete I waiting in the relaxation room basically a room they store furniture in. It had a sign that listed their values of compassion and empathy. What bull when they dont really care. I would say I wouldnt return to at least this location.

Front staff doesnt seem like they know what they are doing.. I come here for massage therapist Janeth, she was recommended by a supervisor there. I had a bad experience the first time I received a massage here by another therapist, supervisor Monica had gave me comp massage to make for it. Janeth is awesome I would recommend her to anyone, she listens and I leave feeling awesome!

My experience in scheduling a massage at the Avondale location was the worst! Originally scheduled online, when arrived to appointment was told I was not on the schedule and it my be due to issues with website. Offer to reschedule and would include free enhancement, I agreed to it and was then scheduled for five days later. Day before appointment received text to confirm rescheduled appointment, I did so. Later that day I received second text asking me if I could move my appointment again, I declined and asked to cancel appointment and I would be attending different company. Response was okay, appointment canceled and enjoy your experience with other company. If a company can not apologize for there mistakes, then how will they ensure any services I receive will be up to par?

I had a great massage experience with Jovanny C. I like my pressure to be firm and he applied the perfect amount of pressure. He checked with me often to make sure the pressure was still good. I will definitely be booking my next massage with him again. Thanks again Jovanny C.

I scheduled my appointment over the phone I was told a certain time I arrived right on time and when I get there I was told a different time and that my massage session was already 15 minutes in. I drove 45 minutes to get there I told her I was told 3:15 what made me even more upset as I got there a quarter to 3 and had to find something to do until my alarm in time. She said no it was at 3 p.m. I can go ahead and see you but Ill just have to take off your time from your massage that I already paid for. I said absolutely not walked out the door I will never be back to this location.

Staff is super respectful and polite. Best massage ever! Hands down period. They do use bamboo sticks, cupping, electrodes and hot stones.

April was fantastic. She is able to adjust the pressure to exactly what you like. Very thorough. Does a “COMPLETE” massage head to toe. The only complaint is that I think she has someway of marking the clock run faster than normal. All of a sudden I’m awake and it’s over.

Booked another one with him. Now I have to pay 98$ because Im being told I can only transfer massage to the same person once in 6 months. Same girl I booked appointment prior. Didnt say anything then?? Canceling my membership and loosing my business.

Susan Deyo will charge your card without your permission! Even when you don’t use it to pay for your appointment. I have had four charges on various accounts without my knowledge or consent. When I reached out to her, she constantly evades my calls and texts. She has lied over the phone about what she will do in attempt to correct the mistake and still I’m getting recurring monthly charges, which currently total more than $220.00. No therapist or massage is worth getting ripped off! **Avoid the Avondale location like the plague.** wish I had read the yelp reviews first.

The office location is very welcoming and friendly. Out of the 3 different Massage Envy locations that I have been too and by far this one is the best.

Will not be coming back. I used to be an LMT (10yrs) so my expectations are kind of high. And my therapist could of did a better job. I can tell when a therapist is doing this because they love it and when they doing it for a pay check. My massage could of been better. I was highly disappointed.

Ive had one professional massage many years ago and the massage therapist was entirely to rough, I ended up having massive swelling on my neck for a week, I vowed, never to get a massage again. I’ll try and not be too harsh.Quite frankly, I came in today hoping to surprise my mother for her birthday and scheduled an appointment in advance only to come in the day of and be told the date is wrong.I understand mistakes happen but it hard for me to be okay with this considering how it disrupted my plans for the day. I would have appreciate an email or text in advance to notify and confirm the planned date.I remember clearly asking for the 19th of April at 10am but they placed me under an entirely different month. I wasn’t even given a direct phone line to contact the lead associate; only the store number. Which I did call, twice and with no call back. I’m still concerned I’ll be fined for not attending but we’ll see if they remember to remember the appointment like I asked.If it were any other day a reschedule would be okay -not fine- but okay, at least. A birthday comes only once. It was my first time here and I did have high expectations of it. Sad to say I got nothing out of it expecting a lukewarm ‘oops’. Hopefully I’ll get contacted to be compensated for my loss of time, gas, and plans.It’s never a happy thing when a surprise is ruined and you walk away with nothing.

Long story short…. I had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow that I had scheduled months in advance that I was really looking forward for. First I would like to start by saying the therapist that I’ve seen here are great BUT as far the front desk girl by the name of Kristoff and GM Cierra. I got a vm regarding my appt that was for tomorrow and the tone from Kristoff and the verbiage she used was not pleasant. I thought it was just me until I had others listen. I called back and spoke with Kristoff and explained how I felt regarding her vm and her response to me was it’s my fault I took it that way I asked for a supervisor because her attitude on the phone she said there was not one in and to call at 4. I then get a vm from Cierra at 3:30pm stating she’s returning my call. I called her back telling her whether happened. Not only did she “chuckled” when I was telling her no apology or nothing. Then she brings up (still not addressing my concern) about my kids payment which my card was STOLEN and I just got a new one and updating it when I come in tomorrow. Which is IRRELEVANT at the time of my conversation. I asked to speak to someone higher since she thought I was a joke. She THEN wanted to apologize and defending her staffs disrespect and tell me “idk what to do” how are you GM and do not know what to do? I still insisted to speak with someone else since she didn’t know what to do and thought it was funny. When I asked for her supervisor she acted like she didn’t want to give me the info. She eventually told me Jill and Eddie. Wouldn’t give me anything else. I would like to hear from Jill or Eddie Lopez.

Perla was very knowledgeable and addressed the areas needing attention to help achieve my personal goals. She was sweet and professional!

I went to Massage Envy for a prenatal massage and Dayana was fantastic. I have had such back sciatic and hip pain and the second she started she knew the exact area to press on and I left feeling so relieved. I hadn’t slept this well in months. I will for sure being going back to Dayana!

Do yourself a favor and book a session with Perla! She’s amazing! She does all she can to make you visit as relaxing and comfortable as possible. I book as many times as I can after each visit. Thank you so much Perla!!

Sue Deyo was totally awesome and so helpful! She took care of a situation very professionally and did it during peak time when the lobby was full. I would recommend this location to anyone! Cheyenne gives an amazing facial! I normally am not a chatter while having services done, but she makes the conversations flow so smoothly and tends to all my skin needs while doing so. She goes above and beyond!

Ive had a membership with the Massage Envy Spa in Avondale, AZ for over three years. The Front Desk/Management is bad... well, I shouldnt say that, they smile and greet you when you come in. But, Customer Service isnt their specialty and honestly it doesnt matter and I dont think this location cares. You spend most of your time there with a Massage Therapist or Esthetician anyway. Theyre very inconsistent about whats written in the Terms & Conditions of their contracts. No two reps ever explain the same benefits. To me, this Spa is just poorly managed.Why do I keep going back? I go back because all of the great Massage Therapists Ive had that are still there. I walk out feeling great! Then again, I dont know of anyone who leaves a Spa anywhere that hasnt enjoyed the experience. Its the reason you go in the first place.For Massages: When I want to relax, I go to Hortencia Pereda - she will put you to sleep. Shes very good with relaxation. When Im in pain, or just need to relieve stress, I go to Tiffany Cortez. I dont recommend her for a first-timer. LOL She relaxes me for weeks!!! She is AMAZING but it might hurt.For FACIALS: Alba Claudio - Ive had facials for years at many places; hands down the BEST facials I have EVER had... ever! Alba doesnt just refresh your skin, she educates, explains all of the products and the process behind it. She discusses what she sees in your skin and what she recommends. You will not be disappointed.I do not recommend a Membership with Massage Envy. Customer Service isnt as bad in the other locations Ive visited locally and out of state but when you take a close look at it, their Terms and Conditions are still pretty expensive for the customer service you get. Just in my opinion.I LOVE their Massage Therapists and Estheticians.I DISLIKE Massage Envy Spa and their Business ethics.

Tamekia is one of my favorites to go to for specialties. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, Arthritis and work 50+ hours on my feet, so normal aches and pains. She takes care of me!! She is a hard one to get into because of her awesome technique so make sure to book ahead! She is so worth the wait to book out for!!

My Massage Envy membership has been based out of the Park West location for over a year now. Since then, my usual therapist there has pursued another opportunity elsewhere so I have been in a limbo trying to find a new therapist. Tamekia was referred to me by a friend and I am so happy I selected her for my session! The pressure was absolutely perfect, the was communicative, extremely professional, and the overall quality of the massage was exceptional! I will refer Massage Envy Avondale and Tamekia to all my friends going forward.

My 5 star rating is not for Massage Envy more than it is for my therapist, Umar. I am so blessed to have met such a caring, compassionate and empathetic therapist. Not only do I walk away from each session feeling much better physically but also enlightened in so many other ways. I cannot say enough good things about Umar and his healing ways. Thank you!

I have always been a little uncomfortable getting massages since having my son two years ago. I decided that as a birthday treat for myself I would get a hour massage. I was booked with Heather and once I was in the room, she sat me down and asked me exactly where I was hurting and what I was looking for in a massage. Heather was firm and able to work out the knots that had been bothering me for almost a year. She even told me that she was available for a full 90 minute massage which I was SO grateful for! By the time I was finished, I felt like melted butter. I cant wait for next months billing to go through so I can come back and get another massage. LOVE THIS PLACE!

I have always been attended with excellent customer service. Zera has been more than help full when I asked about the fees and memberships. I have seen Marie many times and has that majic touch. I like my massages light but strong enough for my aches and pains and she does just that. It has taken awhile for me to find a place that will do exactly what I need and this is it!Ive even done the couples massages... Amazing. You wont be disappointed, they even have late appts available.

The best massage I have ever had.

My appointment was for 11 am she got me at 11:10. It was supposed to be 1 1/2 hours. The massage did not start til after 11:15 I would say closer to 11:20. She stopped at 12:25. The massage was ok.

Today I went to Massage Envy because of a cramp and pain in my neck and shoulder blade. The deep tissue massage that I received for Jaime was one of the best I have had. The difference methods and the pressure that Jaime used was exactly the wat I need to help relieve the pain and discomfort I was feeling. Alot of people claim that they can do deep tissue massage but I promise you that Jaime has to be one of the best and most professional I have experienced in the West Valley. 10 hours after my massage I have little or no pain or discomfort in the area of my shoulder. I have a membership a this location and I always schedule a massage with Enjolique, who is a wonderful massage therapist! I was there recently, 3/21/2013. The person checking me out at the end of my visit was Amanda and she was very nice. Good work ladies! i shall return!

I was a mess when I arrived for my massage. I had knots on my lower back and hips due to caring for my elderly mother. After my massage I slept good and knots are gone! Good job DAYANA she’s the best!!

Terrible customer service. Not only is it my birthday but Im 9 months pregnant and a facial is pretty much all I can do for my day. I had a slight accident on the way so my husband called to see if it was okay if we still went but we would be late. He was told we were fine to just come in. We get there, not only will they not take me because we are 17 mins late (but called) they charged his card a cancellation fee for them canceling. Never will I go to a massage envy. Completely ruined my birthday.
