This bar deserves to be shut down until they replace the most disgusting bathrooms I have experienced in my 68 years going to bars or restaurants..A great place for a beer in a relaxing atmosphere with a sarcastic but in a fun sort of way bartender owner.Just dont sit near the restrooms or you will gag.

Walked in on a Thursday night, yes I realized wasnt the most crowded night; but I figured their would be some nice locals and bar staff... NOPE their was one person who smiled as we walked in and the bartender who was a DICK and drunk/high so left quickly. Thanks for setting the bar very low for the Gay scene Boston Eagle...

Saturday night, very quiet, very few people inside, soft music, low lighting. I like the decorations. Place has an old look, with several wood-carved art displays. It was kind of hard to engage in conversations with other people, every body seemed to mind their own business. I was with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed the time we were there.

Jack, the bartender/owner is a trip. He can def throw shade. Dont drink and play pool, u will knock ur drink over, guaranteed. The bathrooms are a little gross but its part of the charm. Love ending the night here for a night cap.

Friendly, diverse, and a great place to have a beer or two. The men are hot but the girls are hotter. Seasoned bartenders who keep the place safe. I highly recommend this place....oh, the music seems to speak to you. I dont know how they do it. Maybe I do.

Eclectic patrons and even more unusual staff make for an experience that may not be for everyone, but for those who yearn for a detour far from the beaten path with a gay twist, its amazing.

You know how Boston claims to have the oldest everything? Hotel, school etc.? Well that goes for gay bars too.Hands down the dive-iest gay bar I have ever seen, and allegedly the first one in Boston (possibly the country).

I am giving a one star because I find the nightlife in Boston very lame. Everything shuts down at 2:00 ,am including statbucks. Being from Miami this is very backwards. Our bars are open until 5::00 am

***CLOSED*** Beyond irritated. Decided to give this place a try despite the negative reviews, wasted an UBER only to find out it’s not in business anymore!

Don’t bother with this bar. Not busy, worst eagle I have been too by far.

Walked in to them loudly playing Fox News in the bar. Seriously? This is a gay bar. I walked right out the door.

Eh. Wasnt very busy when we went and the guys there werent too friendly.

If youre not already depressed this empty watering hole will fix that by way of Jack the racist who insults everyone equally.
